Will the security cameras show the real perpetrator?

Of course a building like this will have a ton of cameras. Only a seasoned crook would be able to avoid them. Jon's lawyers are convinced the real perpetrator will be all over the security cameras.

Who knows, but either way it just makes everyone involved look like they have to have constant media attention.

This is bad all over anything Gosselin.

Kate is smart to keep a low profile. Jon is hanging himself with all of his antics. Kate wins everytime.

She will not win in the long run. The oil (truth) always comes up to the top.

Not only does the Alexandria have security cameras, they have a full-time attended lobby and a doorman. Someone/cameras must have seen something. And, if this was just a "publicity stunt" --what kind of publicity is Jon hoping to get? This is not the good kind of publicity he needs. Having your condo broken into does not make you a bad person. If Jon in fact had staged this himself--it just shows desperation for attention--but it does not make him some maniac or necessarily dangerous.
If Hailey did do this, she's a very stupid girl--her parents' vouching for her means nothing---many parents will lie to protect their children.
None of this adds up right now. Perhaps it was a stunt pulled by someone who hired people to make Jon look unstable? Hmmmmmm.

My first thought about Jon possibly staging this himself is that it seems odd he would do it over Christmas weekend when a lot of people aren't really paying attention to the tabloids and some tabloid shows aren't even airing.

It seems to me if you were truly going to stage a publicity stunt it would make sense to do it at the beginning of the work week, maybe sometimes in January, when the holidays are over with and people are paying attention.

That's why I thought it would be odd for Jon to time something like this NOW.

I don't think this is a publicity stunt. It is reported that Hailey admitted to taking the TV along with some other stuff. I believe the police interviewed her mother to confirm that Hailey had a right to take some items, that she had either paid for them or her parents did. I think that Hailey has or will confess to taking the missing items, she has no choice as she will be on security camera showing her carrying them out of the apartment. But the real question is who did the damage in the apartment? I believe Hailey did it but will be harder to prove because the security cameras are not filming the inside of the apartment.

This is like the game CLUE.

Is it the Company with the candlestick from the basement or parlor?

Is it the scorned women (plural) with the knife in the bedroom/

oR is it the dummy of the decade with the knife, holding the note that Hailey wrote.

I didn't mean that Jon did it himself. I think Hailey took stuff because Jon owed her, and trashed things she didn't want. Jon's lawyer's comments are so stupid that it makes Jon look worse every time he speaks. Meanwhile, Kate has the kids, the house, the TLC show in the spring, and the child support coming in from Jon.

No one actually wins in a divorce, but Kate is doing better than Jon. Kate has real lawyers who can practice law in PA, realistic job prospects, and a bodyguard-friend that won't sell her out like Michael Lohan/babysitter Santoro/Hailey/Kate 2.0 did to Jon. Maybe Kate isn't a "winner" but Jon is definitely a "loser".

Well, it is easy to have the best in attorney's when TLC is alledging footing the bill.

She did what she had to as far as a divorce is concerned. She had to make sure she was financially in a position to keep that house. It would really make her BRAND look pitiful if she loses the house after all this mess.

All I am critical of about the divorce is she plans to be the full time parent & have a media career. Those children will be raised by Nannies if that turns out to be the case. Who knows maybe the kids are better off.

She shares custody of those kids with Jon. He does half the work. At least that's what I thought the custody arrangements were. Can the Administartors explain what "primary parent" means? I thought it meant she lives in the primary residence with the kids, but he still shares 50% of the parenting decisions, financial obligations, custody time? Maybe I am confused about this? She isn't a the full time parent. Shared custody was the one thing these two got right all summer.

I am not sure about that one anonymous. I think her lawyer Mr. Mark M. said she has primary custody & he has visitation rights & child support obligations from "him to her" in the house that she now owns.

Regardless if she plans to have this big media career (which I have seen her pretty pitiful tryouts) she will need Jon to be at home with the kids. The only difference this time around is he will do it without a paycheck. And, since he is obligated for heavy child support payments he may not be available for the 16 hours a day he will be obligated to the Target Customer Service desk.

I think Administrator could tell us better.

"The only difference this time is he will do it without a paycheck."- Irene

He was paid to allow filming of his family, not to be their father. He "did it" (cared for his own kids) because they are his own kids. He didn't "do it" because he was paid. He is and should be as responsible for the kids as she is. That's what being a parent means. Jon will have half the custody whether Kate is working or visiting her bodyguard. If he has to work customer service, I suppose he'll arrange for a babysitter like other single parents do. Or maybe he could have a family member watch them? Isn't his family from that area?

Anonymous nothing I have seen Jon & Kate do has been in the best interests of their children.

They put TLC 1st in their lives a long time ago.

Now look at their pathetic lives?
