Update: Jon's apartment was slashed to pieces with a knife, Jon wants felony charges filed

http://www.tmz.com/2009/12/26/lawyer-jon-gosselins-apartment-vandalized-burlgarized-butcher-knife-kate-plus-eight/

"When Jon entered his Manhattan apartment this afternoon, he found his "shoes, shirts, luggage, bed, curtain, rugs and other furnishings" had been slashed by a "sick perpetrator" -- and it doesn't stop there. We're told Jon's television, CD player, coffee maker, a Nintendo Wii game, dishes, pots and pans were taken from his apartment. Jon's attorney also says a Ming vase, believed to be over 100 years old ... was "smashed to pieces." As for the note that was left behind ... it was "speared" to Jon's bedroom dresser with a butcher knife."

Was this crazy person really Hailey, or Kate, or a disgruntled viewer who misses the show? Whoever did it knows who Jon is, as the note was signed "Hailey." Shades of Tonya Harding?

I smell a skunk

And I think that skunk is named Hailey...just my guess. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned and I don't know of any woman who hasn't been mad enough to shred some guy's things....but most women realize it is not a good idea and don't actually do it!

Wait a minute, these luxury apts/condos in NYC have doormen and security cameras--and usually the units have alarm systems. Not sayin' that a clever criminal can't somehow get in--but this is just too coincidental--it's either Hailey or someone else close to Jon who would have had access to the apartment--or paid off the security people at the bldg.

Yes I think whoever did it knew him and probably had a key or access code. Which leads to speculation, could it be Jon himself?

Sorry, but I still say it is Hailey.

My guess is Jon and Kate spent a nice Christmas at "her" house with the kids. Jon stayed in his apartment above the garage where he will continue to stay during his "custody time". I also believe that Kate allowed Jon to be there because she is trying to make nice him in hopes of getting him to agree to filming the kids. Kate's show with Paula is cancelled so that dosn't speak well of her chances with a TLC show and you know that TLC has to be using that to their advantage. Both are hurting for money and miss the press and being in the public eye. They will both eventually realize that they need to join forces and agree to take a step back to filming to make the kind of money they were making. I truly hope I am wrong but I do believe that eventually we will see Jon and Kate and kids on the air again...filming individually with the kids but filming. They are getting desperate!

Now who needs the bodyguard?

Interesting turn in the Gosselin saga. Some obvious suspects are Hailey Glassman and Kate Major.

I don't think it was Hailey because it's way too coincidental since she recently moved out.

What about Kate Major? She was always so hateful towards Jon so it wouldn't surprise me if she hired someone to trash Jon's apartment.
