Radaronline slams Jon's sledding time with his kids

Radaronline's headline about Jon's day out sledding with his kids is appalling. Says the celeb gossip site, "VIDEO: Jon Gosselin Actually Does A Good Deed & Spends Time With His Kids." (http://www.radaronline.com/exclusives/2009/12/video-jon-gosselin-actually-does-good-deed-spends-time-his-kids)

"Actually?" Excuse us???

Just so Radaronline knows, both Jon and Kate have admitted several times that Jon is a very hands on parent. Jon got the kids up and ready for school while Kate slept. Jon served Kate coffee made to order in bed. Jon worked a full time job, then came home and looked after the children some more. Jon did baths. Jon did tucking in. Jon did the driving, the gas. Jon spent almost every weekend working on a project to help the family, such as giving the twins bigger bedrooms. He rarely if ever went out with friends. He was incredibly involved in his eight children's lives and he was one of the most hands-on fathers we've ever seen. Up until recently, he was the kind of father most men can only hope to be.

This is not unusual to see Jon spending time with the kids. What's unusual is that the media is actually reporting that he is spending quality time with them.

Radaronline can stop spinning this story every which way they can in Kate's favor and report the facts. Fact: Jon spent quality time with the kids yesterday. Fact: Jon has spent quality time with the kids over and over and over, many, many times in the past.

We have said ad nauseam, Jon and Kate have both made mistakes. They have both screwed up. But they also have both made good choices. But for some reason, Jon's good choices are rarely reported. Or when they are, they are spun in this shameful manner. We will report it here. Fathers are often treated differently in a divorce, and clearly in this case, Kate successfully got most of the media on her side and against the father. But we will report what is going on with this family as fairly as possible, always.

Heaven's to Betsy preach it administrator.

1ST of all Paparazzi should not be photographing the minor children of Jon & Kate Gosselin in the 1st place.

2nd Tlc should be ashamed of themselves in bed with Radaronline the way they are to promote Kate and slam Jon.

3rd there is no one that I know or would want to know for that matter that thinks playing outside with your kids is a crime.

4th at least he wasnt at Bed, bath and beyond buying a mixer.

Jon ignore them. Play with your kids.

And no one slams Kate, except us, for buying a $300 mixer. I'm sorry but that's an extravagant expense she has no business purchasing until she's completely secured her eight children financially.

Oh, we give Kate a run for her money on Z on TV. I like to call it Good will toward men not Kate.
Of course we blog the truth & the heart of the matter.

Kate is going to be Kate's own worst enemy in the future and beyond.

As far as these kids are concerned. Yes, she does need to be more frugal until everything is all straightened out. Cuz if she thinks I am giving to the love offering basket a 2nd time around she has another thing coming.

Jon spends more quality time with the kids. You see pictures of him playing with the kids but the only pictures you see of Kate with the kids she is out shopping and/or on her cell phone.

The kids can tag along if it's something that benefits Kate, like going out for coffee or getting her nails done. But you rarely see her doing something with the kids that doesn't also benefit her.

Sledding in no way benefits Jon, other than the satisfaction of spending time with the kids.

Admin,

It looks like TLC/Jon have agreed to try mediation. Does that mean the trial in April won't happen or does this mean that they've just agreed to 'try' to settle their differences?

I don't have any sort of insightful comment about this because it's been going on for some time. Many bloggers have suspected that TLC has many people (Jon's "girlfriends") and tabloid websites (People Mag and Radaronline) on their payroll to spin things in Kate's direction.

You are right admin about both of them making bad choices. But Jon let's the kids be kids. Kate treats them like they are her little money-makers.

Well are we surprised they will mediate?

That is going to be expensive either way. I just hope kissing and making up does not mean 8 kids have to start earning a paycheck for their parents.

Debbie said...

Mediator: So who would like to start?

TLC: We will...So Jon, here's the deal, you let
us film the kids and we won't squash you
like a bug!

Anyone else think that is how its going to go?

Well good hypothesis Debbie!

Tell you what I will pass you a sticky bun if you give me a cup of Monkey munch and we will bet on all this.

Re: Debbie--I agree!
Of course TLC wants the mediation so that they can pressure Jon into a deal that allows filming of the children--and so that the proceedings are sealed. That's where the big bucks are--not suing Jon whose financial resources may be limited since the divorce.
As for ROL's headline--Jon can't catch a break no matter what he does. I never even go to that site anymore--it's too annoying.
There is ample evidence of Jon's care-taking of the kids throughout the seasons of Jon & Kate +8 to refute the "lazy" Jon assertion. He may be lacking in drive and ruthless ambition, he may have poor "planning and scheming" skills--but he did most of the grunt work in caring for his children.

Merry Christmas to me! I woke up this morning and found that David Goldman has been given back his son and they are on a plane headed home from Brazil. You top that with Kate getting kicked off her show and wow, just wow, couldn't ask for anything better! Happy Holidays to me and everyone else!

I am so happy for Mr David Goldman. I hope the media can give this father/son some space.

What a Christmas miracle Debbie!

Poor Jon. He's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't.
