Court dates moved up

http://www.radaronline.com/exclusives/2009/12/exclusive-jon-gosselins-court-dates-moved

After some kind of trial setting conference Tuesday with all parties on the case, a judge has moved the hearing for a preliminary injunction from December 14 to December 10th. The trial date was moved up to April 19th, 2010.

Internet buzz claim the move is because TLC is anxious to get Jon. But a few days is not all that significant. It could simply be due to court congestion. And all parties have to agree on the new dates. If Jon's side is not ready, they simply tell the judge they need more time. Certainly when dates are moved UP, all parties must agree (it's a different story when dates are moved back). As long as it's reasonable and not a request meant to delay the procedings, most judges will accommodate them. We interpret it as both sides are ready to go.
