Kate's dance partner is Tony Dovolani

We called it! Kate's partner is .......

Tony Dovolani!

Says Kate: "This is definitely a message to my kids," she said. "I only told them last night right before it was announced. My 9 year olds are very excited. They asked if they could vote for me."

It is a message, that's for sure.

Why are they pushing KATE so hard?

It's just forced publicity for someone who has no talent. Does anyone else see this?

She's been on GMA and Kimmel and they are pushing Kate in our face. Have any other contestants been promoting their appearance on DWTS as hard as Kate?

Well there aren't any pics of Pam Anderson at that nightclub party. Maybe she was home tucking in Brandon and Dylan for school the next day. When's the last time Kate tucked in her kids?

What do you mean you called it? You wanted her with Max the perfectionist. I know Tony he's a nice guy and won't be as hard on her as Max.

Did anyone watch The View discussing the DWTS selections. Of course Kate was a topic and I was a bit surprised that most of them, including Barbara, questioned how Kate could have time for this with eight kids at home. I was caught offguard so I don't remember many specifics. Joy did say jokingly, well, kids can raise themselves these days, just put out food and water. And Whoopi wasn't there. Would have really liked to hear from her

Seriously, though, I have one kid (3) and there is no way that I could train and practice for something like this in my home while he was around. He would drive us crazy interupting, asking for things, wanting to talk to the new person, running around, etc....how is she going to get anything done at home with the kids there? And, this again makes their home a workplace...(kids, be quiet mommys practicing, kids don't bug your mom she's practicing, dont go down there, they are filming...) and places almost as much stress on those kids as filming them did, IMO. They just experienced a crazy divorce. They need a mom to be there for them, not be working on her grinding moves with some strange guy in the basement!

Anonymous said...

Don't worry about Kate. The basement will be padlocked and there will be no interruptions unless it's staged interruptions where the ABC camera guys get to film the kids.

If the kids need anything, Jon or the Nannies or sitter can provide for the kids. Nothing new here.

The "being at home to train" is just a gimmick. Either to save face for nothing being there for the kids, or a chance for ABC to film the kids.

Attention Facebook users - Here is a new facebook page to vote Kate off of DWTS.

I think it's a given that if she does not win this it will be all Tony's fault. 'Cause, you know, she's a STAR, baby!

Notice how she puts her finger in her ear after asking how good a painter Tony is. If she has trouble with her ear piece sitting down repeatedly, how will she keep it in place while dancing? Super Glue for Super Mom!

Jon Gosselin wants more time with his kids while ex-wife Kate is doing “Dancing With the Stars,” but she won’t give him extra custody.

If this is true, I'm soooo pissed. It's just you can't trust anything said or written anymore.

I agree that it is not fair to Jon.

Lauren said...

Wouldn't they go back to court to arrange for more custody time with Jon? I don't think Kate can have so much control over the custody situation.
Is that right Admin?

This story actually circulated a few weeks ago by US, I didn't post it then and I haven't posted it now without further verification. It didn't make sense then and it makes even less sense now.

First of all, Jon just spent the past 10 days with the kids! All the photos were of Jon with the kids, so Kate clearly didn't have a problem with him being there. That to me debunks that rumor right there. Second, as you said Lauren, if Kate tries to curtail Jon's visitation or refuse him extra visits when she's not there, he can stop crying like a baby about it and get his butt back to Family Law Court. Explain that Kate has effectively abandoned the children to go pursue her real dream of stardom all along in LA, and as long as Jon is being appropriate on visits, which he has, almost any judge would permit him more visits if Kate isn't going to be there anyway. No judge would say a nanny is more appropriate than a father who is behaving.

A lot of rumors we have heard lately have turned out to be true, and I've published them before waiting to be SURE they were true (like the DWTS rumor) because I had enough evidence to post it (like Kate disappearing). But this one I have no evidence that makes sense right now, so I'm going to need something more.

So I guess the only thing to do now is hunker down until the show starts and then vote like hell to get Kate off the show.

Kate doesn't want Jon to get "extra time" with the kids. Because TLC or ABC will have their crew at the McMansion to film everything.

TLC and Figure 8 will be voting all night for Kate. Everyone needs to vote for Buzz Aldrin until Kate gets the boot. Vote BUZZ!!!

IATK said...

jw, when you said this I became curious as to who is the real Buzz Aldrin so I googled his bio. We all know Buzz Aldrin is an astronaut but I was curious about Dr. Aldrin the man and his life accomplishments. I condensed as much as I could but this is still a little long. I hope it's okay. I know DWTS is about dancing but just in case anyone's looking for a tie breaker in their thinking, I hope they would consider this bio. We sometimes need to stop and remember the true heros:

Buzz was educated at the US Military Academy at West Point, graduating third in his class with a BS in mechanical engineering. He then joined the Air Force where he flew F86 Sabre Jets in 66 combat missions in Korea, shot down two MIG-15’s, and was decorated with the Distinguished Flying Cross. After a tour of duty in Germany flying F100’s, he went on to earn his Doctorate of Science in Astronautics at MIT and wrote his thesis on Manned Orbital Rendezvous.

Selected by NASA in 1963 into the third group of astronauts, Aldrin was the first with a doctorate and became known as ‘Dr. Rendezvous’.
In 1966 on the Gemini 12 orbital mission, Buzz performed the world’s first successful spacewalk.

On July 20, 1969, Buzz and Neil Armstrong made their historic Apollo 11 moonwalk, becoming the first two humans to set foot on another world. An estimated 600 million people—the world’s largest television audience in history—witnessed this unprecedented heroic endeavor.

Upon returning from the moon, Buzz was decorated with the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest American peacetime award. A 45-day international goodwill tour followed, where he received numerous distinguished awards and medals from 23 other countries.

Dr. Aldrin has received three U.S. patents for his schematics of a modular space station, Starbooster reusable rockets, and multi-crew modules for space flight. He founded Starcraft Boosters, Inc., a rocket design company, and the ShareSpace Foundation, a nonprofit devoted to advancing space education, exploration and affordable space flight experiences for all.

Dr. Aldrin has penned his dramatic memoirs in a new autobiography, Magnificent Desolation. He continues to inspire today’s youth with his illustrated children’s books: Reaching for the Moon and Look to the Stars (2009), both New York Times bestsellers. In addition, he’s authored two space, science-fact-fiction novels: The Return and Encounter with Tiber. His non-fiction works include the bestseller historical documentary, Men from Earth, and an early 1970’s autobiography, Return to Earth.

If you are interested in voting Kate out, it does make the most mathematical sense to vote for whoever had the lowest score, or who you think will be voted out first. Like someone without a huge fan base who isn't doing that well. Because on this show you don't vote people out, you vote people IN.

just wondering said...

That is EXACTLY why I'm pushing the point that we need to vote for Buzz Aldrin. Nobody under the age of 50 will even know who he is, but he sure deserves to beat the Wicked Witch of Wernersville. TLC will be phoning all night long for her on I don't even know how many phone lines.

VOTE BUZZ!! (and thank you very much!!)

IATK said...

You're welcome, jw. I happen to be of the generation that remembers exactly where I was (at work at the local drug store with all of us gathered around a small TV) watching the historical moment when history was being made and man first walked on the moon. I still am amazed and in awe of so many brave astronauts. I guess pride sums it up. Pride in our country and pride in these men and women who put themselves out there. Okay speech over. Guess I got carried away.

Buzz Aldrin was before my time but don't lose hope, I know who he is!

Still he isn't the type of celeb to have some kind of cult following, not to mention his age, so it's unlikely he will make it very far. So if he and Kate are on the bottom, vote for him.

Hi all,

I'm all for voting for Buzz. I really think it may be my only way of insulting Kate in a way that she might hear. If skater boy beats Kate, will she be hurt or insulted? Not like she may be if Buzz beats her.

GWOP is going with Buzz. People on Z are divided. This is where Kate may come out ok. Kate has too many people who will call in for her. I think we all need to ban together. I'm all for Buzz.

And, I remember where I was when Buzz walked on the moon. I was at a party with my boyfriend and all of us were glued to the 1 black and white tv.

Kate be strong! Your a trooper! And for all those bitches out there that are so negative! Vote for her cuz she obviously knows more about life then you all!
