Uh-oh. If it's anything like the mystery of the peeling equator, three of those four repairs probably involved a lot of screaming, a beating and an interrogation before she got around to fixing them.

I can't imagine that Shoka would not go back to the breeder. Most make you sign that if you for whatever reason can not take care of the dog, it goes back to the breeder.
I have been thinking of Shoka a lot today and wish Robert would spill to us, although I realize there may be legalities at play.
Robert--Blink once if Shoka is alive. Blink Twice if he's dead. Blink 3 times if he's with Jon.
Just kidding, but would love to know as I can not imagine Kate keeping Shoka around after filming and the fact that her blog never really took off and is all but defunct.
I just wish that beautiful dog gets a chance to snuggle, give kisses, jump on couches and beds and eat some delicious people food now and then. Oh, and get to go for long walks in the woods...with his humans.

Here is a real tip. Generally speaking, your local hardware store - if you are lucky enough to have one - carries those items that are needed for local house repairs. These guys at the local hardware store are familiar with the systems that are being repaired in the area and will assist with questions for the immediate market.

There are certail items that need to be purchased at the big box stores but the big box stores sell in bulk and don't cater as closely to the local market.

Well, that CC blog, does show, that Kate is a stupid person. Have to have a handyman put oil in your car, Can't hang a pic, you don't know how to paint? PAINT!, even a child can paint, get a decorating book, look up on internet, there are a few simple rules in painting, that even a simpleton can figure out and do, it's not rocket science. Your kids Kate can help paint, they are not littles anymore, I painted my own room when I was 11, And what is this crap line: with 8 kids and work and running? What work? CC blog, about 5 min or less to write. That's work, let me have the job. Cleaning house, I do not consider on the same lines of paid work, unless you are, a house keeper, maid, cleaning people etc. cleaning house is, you either do it, hire someone to do it, or turn slowly into a hoarder. But that is what everyone needs to do, clean your home. What else does she do all day?

Geez: I knew how to use most tools since I was a little kid. I like tools, and Menards, Homedepo, Lowes and Crafty beaver, Ace, I love those stores, can stay in them for hours. There are a few savings, granted, but you would still have to buy parts, and if you don't know what your doing and screw it up, you will pay twice as much to have it fixed. So doing it yourself, is a 2 way sword. A book or a fix blog or info would be helpful. Kate never mentioned either. This again is a top of Kate's head blog, she did no research, or even say, get a book or look it up on the net, before fixing it. One does not go off half cocked, saying well I looked at it and it is easy to fix. I bought a sink fixture for the bathroom sink, thinking yeah, how hard would it be to, install new one. Shut water off, disconnect, simple. Well it's not, that simple, you have to make sure it fits, you have proper connectors, which you have to put a certain type of glue(depending on what kind of pipes there are, etc. After reading the instructions, I called a plumber. Just like my kitchen drain, I tried all the plumping stuff, including vinger & baking soda, and it was still clogged, called the plumper, he use and air pump thing, and it took 6 times to get it unclogged. I also found out that when using vinger & baking soda, you need to cover the drains, for it to unclog.

Another, Kate bragging blog, totally useless info, stuff people already know.

It would appear to me that the running facade is becoming more and more hard for KT to maintain. She is running shorter and shorter distances and by her own admission is having a difficult time. That last one she thought she was going to throw up, which means she probably did throw up, and admits that she was embarrased.
-----------------------------------------------
This was posted a couple of days ago, but is interesting to me. It's hard to keep up the enthusiasm to the sport when you are by yourself. Thus, the "daily" runs will be less frequent and shorter.

The other issue is pace. I did a sport that required pace. Pace takes time, effort and support to learn. It's tough to take out these runs in a controlled manner. The tendency is to go out too fast as the excitement of the start is realized.

Katie Irene is somewhere in the 9 to 11 minute mile range. Not too bad for someone my age but pedestrian for a 35 - 40 year old who does little else.

So the flaw to the running career is the lack of training partners which are needed for sanity and pace. If one wants to maintain a program I recommend going to a fitness center. Just the fact that other people are there will go a long way towards providing motivation.

It is possible to be a solitary athlete, however it is not probable.

An alien took over Jon's body.

Admin, kids don't have the capacity to understand what adults do because they don't have the context to put it in. Later, when growing up and as an adult, we look back and think, wow, dinner on the table every night must have been a grind. And Dad's endless work outdoors painting, mowing, raking leaves, sealing the driveway. It was never ending but me? Had no idea what work that really was.

Also, I HATE the gender stereotyping that Kate is DRILLING into these kids. She may think that she's Rosie the Riveter, but she's a hand-flapping mess.

Kate is so full of herself. I highly doubt she even replaced the handle on her toilet - although that is quite simple. My 13 year old son did just that last year. He and I also replaced the little rubber stopper in the tank also. It was a cheap and simple fix.

As to the "furnace problem" - yeah Kate, like I believe you went down to your furnace (in the basement) and banged around doing repairs on it. I call the AC/heating company once a year to come out and check my system for me. I'm sure Kate does the same - if she even makes the call herself!

Had to laugh at the "putting oil in my car" remark. As others have already pointed out, if you are topping up your car's oil, you've got a leak and should probably take the car in to the mechanic to have it checked. Although with the way Kate drives (bat out of heck), I wouldn't be surprised to hear she's got engine troubles.

A clerk at a local department store had an amusing experience with ‘Kate the celebrity’ as she put it to me in 2009. She was working the makeup counter and Kate was there for almost an hour testing products and asking for free samples of everything. Then, when the clerk totaled up her bill, Kate demanded to see the store manager to ask why she was being charged so much.   When the manager told Kate that that’s what the items cost, Kate laughed and told them that she was Kate Gosselin and she’s on television and she’s not used to paying for things. Kate stormed off telling them that she would never shop there again. This was a store that, years before donated thousands of dollars worth of clothing and furniture to Kate, when she may have actually needed it for her kids.

If a car is leaking oil, you find out where the problem is and you get it fixed. You don't keep adding oil, only to have it leak!

"New cars in decent shape dont need oil added to them unless something is very wrong and they are leaking on the garage floor."

@@@@

The cars weren't purchased new, and we don't know that any of them is still under warranty. I believe each one of them is a used vehicle, in which case, yes, they could be needing oil added to them. I purchased a two-year-old vehicle, with next to no miles on it, and for some reason, my oil light goes on and I need to add oil. It's been checked several times, and it's not leaking, it just has a voracious appetite for oil.

Sweet Tart: I had a leak in my toilet, a year ago. I have a real old toilet, the parts inside are mixed, so when one part went, I had to call a plumber, and he stripped the whole inside of the flushbox and put all new parts in, it works like a brand new toilet. It was a $150. to fix, well worth the money. As for furnace, I just had the heating guy here to check and clean my furnace. I have a gas hot water, type, with raidators. And check my hot water tank. He checked pressure, flame, vacuumed, and check connectors, and flushed the holding tank, pulled out the pilot rods, and cleaned them, checked for rusting wear. I don't think Kate would even tackle anything of that sort, maybe change filter. This guy knew what to look for, & smell for. I leave the furnace to the pros. I can patch walls, infact I still have the wall my Rosie, put holes in to patch. Kate needs to teach her kids(or was Kate the one who put the hole in the wall)not to put holes in walls. Or is there, more wrong with the Tups than Kate is saying? Maybe a little Autism, there are many levels. Or is it just Kates anger, falls down to the kids and they do what they see. If they or kate are putting holes in the walls, they have anger issues, and really need therapy.

If the vehicles are under warranty, and engines do have lonnnnnnng warranties, no dealership shop should be sending you home saying "dunno... live with it, lady." Oil problems are engine problems and THAT is warranty. A stand alone repair place maybe, but not a dealership shop that knows warranty work.

I still think that after much hysteria, exhaustion, and many hired hands, she managed to top off her washer fluid.

Anger issues - I have two bathrooms, and a couple of years ago, had a plumber out who basically replaced the entire "fixings" in the tank. Seems that it ran around $150 to $170 for the repairs. I am like you - happy to do the simple repairs, but I would not tackle anything more in depth because I want it done right :)

I once put a hole in my bedroom wall in a fit of temper while trying to hang a picture. Pounded the hammer a leeeetle bit too hard and left a hole. However, I did patch it the next day with a patch kid purchased from Lowe's. I do agree that if someone is consistently punching holes in walls, that ought to be a red flag. Sometimes sheeple are really funny. This one wants Kate to come to Guam, and goes on to explain to Kate where it is. Given Kate's history of being geographically-challenged, this was necessary, especially since half of the equator was missing from her globe!

Of course she can come but first you must.

Pay for 10-12 first class airfare.
(Kate Steve 8kids helps).
Pay for top notch hotel rooms.
Pay for Steve.
Pay for meals and all fun activities.

If you do that then Kate Gosselin is all yours.

Kate made lots of money...and her kids and herself wore free clothes, sat on free furniture, their laundry person washed those clothes in free washer/dryers, her personal cook prepared free food on free appliances and stored leftovers in a free refrigerator....and they did their bathroom duties with free toilet paper (quilted northern sent them some, then just recently she grifted free tp, but not sure on that brand)...list goes on and on and on........

Dwindle said, "If those 3 expensive, still-under-warranty cars are leaking oil, she has bigger problems than she thinks"

@@@@

No, Kate is not hurting for space in her house.Kate is not wanting/hurting/needing. That would be the 8 children.

Unfortunately, Kate does not appreciate what she has. She wants MORE. She wants bigger and better.

If Kate had known how serious Jon was about ending that TV show, Kate would have moved to Beverly Hills, Ca so that she could get out of Pennsylvania.

Kate thought Jon was going to go along with her lying, cheating, abusing ways and when he pulled that plug, well she did not want to be in Wernersville, PA. Still does not want to be there.

She sees herself in Beverly Hills, CA living next dooor to Dr. Phil and his lovely wife as they advised Kate on media, Brands, expanding Brands, but the plug was pulled.

Auntie Ann, so sorry to hear about the toddler in your neighborhood that died. How sad and my prayers to their family.

I have used the 3M hooks for quite a few years and they are not something a young child can get off, if at all. The hook part slides on and "clicks" in. To remove them, you lift the hook part off, then have to pull down on the tape to detach the back part from the wall.

I would think a small child would attempt to pull/yank on the hook to get it from the wall, and that wouldn't do it, unless the back part wasn't put on securely. However, if the back part isn't put on securely, the hook wouldn't hold anything and it would probably fall.

When used properly, these are very good hooks to use that hold different weights, depending on the size you buy, and they do not leave any marks on the wall or and wood surfaces. I use them for all of my holiday decorations throughout the year.

I agree. I use them, too, and can't imagine a toddler could pull them off the wall. Moreover, why would you hang something low enough that a child could reach it? They are used for pictures, decorations, etc., not something that would be within a child's reach. Hearing about a child dying is sad. Did he/she take it off the wall, or was it lying around on a counter somewhere that he could get it?

Unfortunately kids can swallow lots of odd things. I read the Huffington Post article about Kate's earnings on the show and did the calculations. Just from the show alone, they earned over 2 million dollars for those few years. PLUS tyhe money from speaking engagements, love offerings, DWTS, promotional events, etc.

My hubs and I would have to work 30 years to make 2 million dollars. PLUS we had to pay for our own furniture, clothes, vacations, appliances, food, toilet paper, etc., ourselves. Not to mention we do our own household repairs, painting, gardening, lawn mowing, etc.

This worthless woman had it made, but she got greedy and didn't appreciate the FREE THINGS SHE RECEIVED THAT SHE DIDN'T EARN!! She said she will do anything to support her kids. THEN DO IT KATE!! Go back to nursing, get that job at McDonalds that you said you would get on a talk show. DO SOMETHING!! Stop waiting for a TV show to fall into your lap because it's not happening for YOU!

I went up to Dollar Tree this afternoon for some disposable foil pans and saw tons of happy halloween dress up items for a dollar. You could do a whole classroom of little kids for $50. Bought my little great-niece a tutu skirt, fairy wings, glitter make up that came with clip on earrings and a tiara, all for $3. They had cheerleader costumes, pirate, a bunch of other stuff. Hopefully the G kids will have with their daddy getting creative and get to run and play in his neighborhood and be spooky for halloween.

LoveMyGrandsons said...

What did Kate say on one of the shows? Something to the affect that her kids' had very good college funds? Well, then they have the opportunity for more of a future than most parents can provide in this economy.

Yes, we had a fund for our daughter, but it didn't cover it all. We paid extra as she went to college, she received some scholarships because of her grades, and then she took out some college loans as well. When she graduated, her present from us was enough money to pay off half of the college loans. We could have given her more up front, but for one, we didn't have it at the time, and for two, we wanted her to understand how important it is to work for something you want instead of having it handed to you. I don't mean to offend anyone with my second point. It's just that we had 2 friends and they both had the same issue: they took out loans to pay for the college and the kids dropped out and the parents were stuck with the bill. We decided that we would help her with books and part of the tuition and she would take a loan for the rest. That way we thought she would take it more seriously. When she graduated, we covered half of her loans.

Okay, I'm sorry for rambling, but my initial point was if the kids have good college funds, then why is she continuously complaining about money? A nursing job, while they're in school, should cover household expenses if she lives within her means. Basically, she's complaining about money because she wants to live like a celebrity and she doesn't want to work.

If the Gosselin kids have to take out some college loans (now I know I'm opening up myself to criticism now!), that's no different than what many college students have to do. YES, I realize the kids earned the money and it should be theirs, not Kate's, but that's not how it turned out. The sad thing is they are not learning how to work for what you want from their mother. She is teaching to expect everything to be handed to them.

I know I didn't word this post the right way, so please excuse me if it offends anyone.

Exactly, Kate is way ahead of the game with her college funds. Especially in this economy I'm guessing there are going to be a ton of parents who had all the intentions in the world of starting a college find but really couldn't.

Misquoted? Seriously? I don't believe that for a millisecond. He said:

He also accepts his share of responsibility for the divorce. "I was passive-aggressive," he says. "Then I'd get mad, but I was the one who wasn't communicating."

Now, he says, times have changed.
"I'll call [Kate] up and say, 'Mady's sick. What do I do?' And she'll tell me," he says. "She's a great Mom. We just have different parenting styles."

Jon said the woman whom has brutally, viciously physically and emotionally abused his 8 children for their entire lives is a GREAT MOM. Just makes me sick thinking about it. I can't even imagine how any of the kids would feel reading that.

The only thing that makes me even sicker, and angrier, is that he not only ignored the abuse, he also participated and made money off his children's pain.

Another local tragedy last week. A 9-year-old boy was flipped off the all terrain vehicle he was a passenger on and was killed. He wasn't wearing a helmet. He was riding with his mom's boyfriend...the dad is suing. Awful stuff going on here.

By special request!!!!!!

Kate's PR team most likely told her to stay off twitter. Don't give info out then TV interviews will come to "get caught up". Either that or Kids are with their Dad and Kate doesn't want to admit anything about Kids or dog.

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said...

Tamara, no one is saying Kate beats the crap out of these kids currently. Robert was talking about in the past, mostly when they were babies. Did it occur to you maybe Jon was trying to be encouraging of her improvement, not upset her? Frankly, if she has stopped being physically abusive, I would encourage her too. They are his babies too and whatever he needs to do to encourage a safe environment for them and a calm mother, he should, given that she's probably not going to lose custody of them. Also I don't see how "she's a mom" doesn't fit in that quote too. I.e. she is being a mom--with everything that entails. Either one fits the context.

I don't see what good it does to give an interview talking about what a bad mom she is. Kate's given her share of those about Jon, and they do no good for anyone but her enablers.

&&&&

Yes. We have no idea what Jon has said to the kids about Kate. That's between them and their therapist. They seem to trust him and respect him. For all we know they have talked at length about Kate and her abuse.

They may actually feel a lot of peace to know that Jon is not angry or resentful and gets along with their mother. In fact, a therapist may have even recommended that Jon praise Kate when she does things that are not abusive and to do his best to get along with her. There is more than one way the professionals recommend to approach this situation. Just because he is being respectful of her right now doesn't mean he supports anything she did to his kids in the past. It simply means he is respecting his children's mother, likely for their sake.

If kids can't have their parents back together, they next best thing is that they at least get along.

Guess it is common when there are dispicable people who cannot understand they DO NOT KNOW KATE AND CANNOT PROTECT HER BY HARMING US but we have to be very careful. I stayed off of this site for almost 3 to 4 weeks until all my bells and whistles are protecting all my technical instruments: computer, phone, etc. I don't say this lightly. I am fortunate as I use equipment monitored by work and that person will be located. But it is not that easy to break into one's computer unless you give away too much info on yourselves. At one time we had a list I made it up for our Limo ride, remember? I mixed up everyone's names and used States, not cities, so that threw them off. But mean criminals who love Kate are not everywhere. We are not worth busting in on I found out since the prison sentence and fine is a hefty one. Very much so, in a day and age when terroristic threats and homeland security is important, this is not taken lightly any longer.

Have been here for a while, not a year or so as I read more about Kate & Jon, viewed youtube segments and feel like I have an understanding of the 2 of them. Do not know them. Believe Jon is trying hard to just be a father.

Kate? Horrendous woman who hides so much but it has to come out. I discovered Kate on DWTS and K+8 but first in the beauty salon in magazines and listening to the gals talk about J & K. Interest is now deep.

Have not much more to say to you nice gals. I had problems with identity 4 weeks ago, you all know that. I did the tally for the stretch limo ride. Nothing else I wish to say about ME. Think you know some personal things but not repeating them Admin., which I did at age 50.

I think this is a good, solid blog. I skip around to several, but rarely, never write. One person I read early on until she wore a wig to a Corn Husk Autumn maze I think got bizarre.

Oh I don't know about any of this, but I leave and someone will still use my name and I stay and someone will use my name.

The Mommie of the year was interviewed for a few moments tonight on some show AND HERE IS WHAT I FOUND:

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- It’s been three years since Jon and Kate Gosselin split, so is the mom of eight dating again?

In a new interview with Access Hollywood’s Michelle Beadle, the reality star-turned-author says she’s still flying solo.

“I haven’t [dated],” Kate told Michelle with a laugh, when asked if she’s dipped her toes back into the dating pool. “It’s a hard spot to be in. [Eight children] is a lot to expect from anyone. My kids are great, there’s a lot of them, and that’s only one factor of a million.

“So, I mean, whatever happens.[If] somebody is brave enough to stick around for some period of time it’s probably meant to be,” she added.

Kate, a blogger for CouponCabin.com (which sponsored her New York City Rock and Roll 10K run to raise money for cancer research on Saturday), began jogging as a means of relieving stress, and while her stress level hasn’t changed, she’s learned to change her “reaction” to stress.

“I wouldn’t change anything because I have learned so much and I have learned to deal with high amounts of stress at all times and I have learned what’s important,” she told Michelle. “I have learned that, you know, a juice cup spilled on a table is like, really if that is the worst thing I have to deal with today, I’ll take it!”

Adding, “So, really a lot has changed for me and I have grown up. Going through such a public divorce, and feeling like you have to fight for your kids every day and the things that protect them and the things that are important for them has really, really, really made me realize what is important — and it’s them.”

Protecting her children is paramount to Kate, and she takes many steps to keep their little eyes from reading endless Internet stories about the demise of their parent’s relationship.

In fact, Kate said the kids are “not allowed to Google.”

“If they have school projects, I log them into the laptop and I log them out and they’re very respectful because they know that stuff is out there,” she said. “I remember one time Jon, early on, left a tabloid, a magazine laying around and [daughter] Maddie found it and it devastated her. So, they know that there’s ugly stuff out there and I know that someday they’ll Google and read it, but I also know how close we are and how they’ll be ready for the answers and the truth and the whole, real story someday.

“I’m not afraid of it because I know that I’ve made only good choices and I’ll help them deal with it,” she added

I've always felt that is was for the money and the comped trips. Now, his credibility and reputation as a security person is definitely tarnished, being linked to Kate Gosselin for a few years. He has nothing else going so he has to hold onto this to get money. After all, he can't start over at his age because what would his resume say he did for the last five years? I think when people live a certain upstanding lifestyle and don't associate with people who don't live that way, it's easy to forget that there are a lot of people out there who live a much less righteous lifestyle. I remember when I first became a lawyer being shocked at the sheer volume of people who had such low standards. I knew they were out there but didn't know it was so pervasive.

Likewise, being a parental alienator ranks high on the list of good choices. Just bash Dad every chance you get, and then figure out how to deal with it when they ask you why you did it.

YES! Just last month the gear shifter in my manual shift Saturn was totally loose. Didn't engage at all. Google was my friend. First I found and read on a Saturn forum and eventually found people describing exactly my problem. Some were describing a several hundred dollar fix, with tools and skills I didn't have, using parts pulled from junkyard Saturns. (Saturn company went out of business.) Luckily I kept reading the forum and found a post from someone that described a simple fix using one small part a guy on eBay created and sells. I also found youTube videos and photos showing how to take off the center console to verify if that was my problem. I ordered the part from the guy on eBay for under $30, and only needed vise-grip pliers to install it and a screwdriver to remove and replace the center console. Fixed for under $30. HAPPY DANCE!

Zoe that's awesome.

As long as you can read and follow directions there are many things we can do on our own now. It's not exactly a fix it problem but computers and TVs are another great thing to look up on the internet. Many computer and TV problems can be fixed yourself with help from online forums. Instead of running like a damsel in distress to the computer repair shop and forking over 90 bucks just to have them look at it, try to fix it yourself first. I can't imagine how much money people waste on "my computer is running slow" problems. Look it up, the internet will help you with that.

The exception would be I don't think you should try anything electrical based or otherwise dangerous unless you really know what you are doing. It's worth it to call an expert for that.

In terms of self help the internet is a great resource. There is also soooo much educational material out there. I love Kahn Academy in particular. All free.

It's amazing what you can find on Ebay!! I've purchased do-it-yourself keyless entry remotes (instructions included) for a fraction of what the dealer would charge.
The best deal I got on Ebay was a stepper motor for my suburban gauge that was out (mph gauge said i was going 110 parked in the garage, lol)..dealership wanted almost 1000 to replace all of them (their theory is, one goes out, they are all about to go out), so we buy 6 stepper motors for about 5.00 each. Guy gives up complete instructions, hubby takes the control panel out of the car for the day (which was still drivable, but looked weird!), did some simple sautering, (sp?), and we were back in business.
30 bucks is a *little* bit cheaper than 1000!
There's all kind of car forums, etc. I check car forums for anything that goes wrong with any of our cars.

I agree he doesn't care about the kids, but usually people like that care very much about themselves. Therefore, would he get into a relationship with Kate? I guess it's possible, but the logical part of me says no. However, I very well could be proved wrong in the future!

The internet also has really great resources on cleaning. How to's and tips for cleaning various things from car detail to any room in the house, and low-cost cleaning solutions you can make at home with some basics on hand like bleach, borax, vinegar and water. You could save a real fortune.

All these tips are real money saving solutions and specific, things that a good blog post really needs. Things her blog post never really has. She is a content farm writer and frankly if I were managing her career I would forbid her from associating with a content farm. It cheapens the brand.

Things are heating up on Twitter between Milo and the non-fans. She's really on a "I know everything there is to know about Kate because she is my intimate friend, my personal confidante" rant.
It's good entertainment!

I'm not brave enough to tackle much on my car but I DO visit car forums when things go wrong just to get an idea of what it could be and how much it will cost. It helps to go into the repair knowing what you are talking about. As a woman I've found I've been more respected and not likely to get cheated that way. It also helps to seek out one or two people at the shop to build good relationships with so they are remembering you, where I used to live the Shell station manager would patch my tires and fill them all up for only 5 bucks whenever anything went wrong. And in L.A. I get flats a LOT, like every 3 months. There is so much crap on the road. Other places I've gone to charge 20. He did it because I was completely loyal to him always went to him with any repairs.

I googled the Kardashian young lady , her name is Kylie! But she still should be in school! You are only in high school once, and that horrid mother kris Jenner is stealing that experience from her! I hope Kate doesn't do that to her 8 she has already stolen their childhood!
