Very interesting. When I checked some of these new followers of kate's I find that most of them have never tweeted anyone and are accounts that have not been used in months. Tell me she isn't buying these names.

I just now noticed Kate and how she really looks! Deanna, girl you are good! Without your help and I'll be kind she is not pretty! I'm older and my neck doesn't look like that ! For some of you guys who think she is pretty( and I'm not mentioning names) one question. Really???

************

I think that the neck thing is genetic. My grandmother has a beautiful neck, not a wrinkle or sag on it, so I'm hoping that genes do play a part in whether one has the "turkey" neck or not!

There's not much she can do about her neck, other than to have the whole thing lifted and snipped...same with the no-waist. It's the way she's built. She'd have to have a complete body make-over if she wanted to keep going with the California Barbie/Hollywood diva theme...
_______________________________________
I think the neck is an inherited area, also, so Kate may just be doomed. Too bad so sad (Not).

I thought the spanking law in CA was open hand, NO bare skin. I remember when my kid was little, and my friends w/kids, we discussed how the the gov't was dictating parental styles (not that we spanked bare skin- it was just the slippery slope of gov't regulation of people's private lives, where does it stop? Make vax mandatory? No two children can be forced to share a room? That's what the type of convo it was). But anyway, I would never have spanked a bare bottom.
Also, when I was stationed in WA, I heard (so I cannot verify if true) that parents were not allowed to listen in on their children's phone calls- WTF??? I told my kid- I pay the bill- my rules. You want a private phone call, go find a payphone. LOL This is also the same state (I was Kitsap County) that allowed Jr High schoolers to go to school w/facial piercings. UGH

Anyone with grown kids, I think the best gauge of what is really important is what memories they talk about. How often do they talk about their house or their school? Now how often do they talk about the little things like that fun Halloween one year or this or that fun, reasonably priced activity you did. Kids don't care about the best house or the best school. They care about everything else in between. All the sand in that jar full of rocks. I rest my case.
**************************

My four kids are between 27 - 37. They talk all the time about the things they remember.

They love it that I made meatloaf for dinner every halloween. They remember that when they came home from Trick or Treating, my mother was there and helped them sort their candy. of course my mom was helping with the safety checks, but she made it so fun, categorizing it, and trying to trade for HER favorites. They loved showing their loot to her. Then the next day the OTHER grandma came right after school to view the loot and ooh and ahh and remind them not to over do.

They remember playing at their friends houses and their friends coming with us to the park.

They love the memories of me waiting at the corner for the kindergarten bus and the memories of 2 cookies and a glass of milk after school.

They love the memory of all 4 of them sitting at the kitchen table helping cut up fruit for a giant fruit salad, during a heat wave and the cruchy italian breadsticks I served with it. The baby always got to pull the grapes off the stems. They still think fruit salad and bread sticks is what ya eat in a heatwave. What they DONT remember about this is that we did NOT have airconditioning and I sat them all at the table under the ceiling fan to work that fruit, coz it was too hot to eat anything else.

They remember 'private times' where every Friday night a different relative would come to baby sit and I would take one kid out for 'Private Time'. Dinner was often Dairy Queen coz ya got a coin with your burger meal and then they could take their coin to the ice cream counter and order their own sundae! And we go to the dollar store, or to the park, or see the night show at Sea World, or build a snowman in the park... Even at this age, my 27 year old son will still call and say "I was wondering if I could take you to lunch for a private time, mom..."

My eldest daughter remembers midnight christmas shopping and then we would go to Denny's and have a cinnamon roll and hot chocolate. She felt so special.

They remember all their school plays and concerts and searching for me in the audience. *I* remember each of their faces lighting up, right there on stage, as soon as they saw me. Heck, DD#1 was 35 when she got her last M.Ed and she STILL did that!

They remember burying me in the sand at the beach.

They remember me sitting outside with them with sparklers, having to wear long sleeves for that, and then putting their sparkler in a pail of water when it was out.

They remember me being Snack Mom at Vacation Bible School.
They remember me taking them to sunrise Easter Service, which our church started in the dark with a bonfire, then as the sun rose Pastor banged on the church doors 3 times, and then we processed in. They remember Christmas Eve, when I had each one alone for a few minutes to give a special gift 'private' gift - it usually wasnt anything special, it was the EVENT of alone time with me under the tree that I wanted for them.

A couple of months ago one of the girls said "mom, remember when you always did this with us?!" and I do remember, but at the time it didnt seem like all that much. But it stays with her, fondly.

OK that is way more than anyone wanted to know. Sorry.

Ex Nurse, I agree with most of what you said. S Bullock did not go on TV to talk about her divorce. Nor does she call news media people to sell photos or give articles. That is why we don't see Sandra Bullock on magazines, her life is private, she tries hard to keep it that way and so do most actors who are accomplished actors who do not share their lives with the media. Yes, sometimes one is seen shopping and someone takes a photo.
An example I personally know of thru my brother who lives in NM. Julia Roberts. Iwas visiting my brother near one of those towns that artist George O'Keefe loved to paint. Brother said Julia Roberts was in the area as well as several other big names. Well we going to do a bit of grocery shopping, my brother said "when Julia Roberts shops here, she calls ahead and tells the mgr she will be coming in with her 3 children, she wears a hat and looks just like anyone else. But sometimes there is a pap around as this area as it has some actors living there who desire privacy. Way out in NM, far from NY and Beverly Hills, Kate.

So the mgr just keeps an eye out for paps while she shops with her 3 kids. If he sees someone outside his store waiting with a camera or something, he helps her leave the store without being photographed. She thanks him for that tiny bit of privacy just her and her kids shopping among other people but not being photographed. The mgr told my brother it means the world to Ms. Roberts not to have her children in the public eye. None of the clerks in the store ask for an autograph. Ms. Roberts told the mgr if he has a request from one of his employees, she will honor it but not around her children. He said she is nice to the clerks and the butcher and she and the kids are like anyone else shopping for groceries. Also everyone in the store doesn't know who she is, not really, they are just shopping too.

I was impressed with that. You make it in that world of Hollywood, but live so far from Hollywood to have a normal life with your family.

If you want publicity, you can get it, like Kate did for years. She had to have her PR team notify everyone where she was going to be all the time.

Do you all remember Kate on Ellen's show and Ellen had this big stack of weekly magazines and Ellen picked it up and dropped it in front of Kate (oh yeah Kate had a wool skirt over the knee, cashmere sweater set (oh phony baloney Kate) and Ellen said "what is this about, why is this like this" and Kate said something like "I have no idea, I am a mom of 8 and I do all the mom things, why we are in these magazines is beyond me (paraphasing, she knows no English) and Ellen didn't spend time with her her either.

Everyone has her number. She is a Jackhole as Andy Cohen calls people who waste time/money and demand and are stupid.

Talking of childhood memories...I'm 60 years old. When I was 3 or 4 I would wait at the end of our lane for Daddy come home from work. He would stop his pickup truck and I would climb into his lap and "drive" the pickup to the house (which was 4 houses away). No money involved. He gave him something more precious..his time and his attention.

Does Kate(Jackhole) have that pink phone in her hand as she runs? OMG, idiot.

Administrator, I am in total agreement with you about Jon. We have to stop with Jon did that and Jon did that.

Jon said what he did, he admitted to it, he screwed up and he apologized to his children for the 4 or 5 months of leaving and also everything else he did that was not in their best interest. He said he will spend the rest of his life making it up to his kids. He did say all of that so many times.

When you realize that Kate masterminded everything and Jon was only in it for a couple of years and most of the time he was babysitting and he was the mother and father of those kids, he didn't now half of what she was doing out of town. He did wrong, he has said so, he pulled his kids off of TV, he fought a Big Corporation with so much money, he was an ant, he tried to protect his kids and he LOST and their mother got another show K8 and she tortured them on camera and screamed and bitched at them and pulled ice cream out of their hands and she did it all on 5 or 6 inch high heels. What a girl!

All that and she brought home the turkey bacon. Wow.

Jon is suffering, he will always suffer, I am not adding to it. He is trying to reverse the misery he had a part in that harmed his children.

Last night I went back to you tube. I watch Collin and I saw Mady hit him with a jacket when she got off of the school bus, he kind of ducked. I saw one of the tups hitting him too. They did what they saw done at home, Kate would slap Collin as she passed him. It is on you tube. That photo of Kate crushing Collin's face because he noticed a man who takes photos and he does not move, just his head as he tried to breathe. What a Jackhole that woman is.

Yeah, Jon gets a break from me right now and until I see anything that would harm those children.

OT for a moment-I need some help from the ladies of Pennsylvania.

I am so excited-I will be coming to your beautiful area in a week-my crazy daughter decided to go to college across the country in Langhorne (we are from Washington State). She is playing volleyball so I will be traveling to Allentown, Collegeville and Lancaster (funny note-I look at that and want to pronounce it Lan-caster-my daughter tells me it is pronounced Lane Kissed Her)

I am bringing my 77 year old mother with me who gets around great-just slower and gets tired easier. She has been to Florida with us but never to this part of the country. I came briefly last Jan when she first transferred but didn't have much time for sight seeing.

So my question is-what is a must see? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I have to admit I know more than I normally would because of J&K+8. We are staying across from Sesame Place, although we will not be going there :) Is it worth a trip to Hershey? Gettysburg? Obviously a trip to Philadelphia should be included-do we do tours or just go on our own? The big question is how hard is a day trip to Washington DC? I would love to go by train-it is do-able in one day and about how much does it cost?

Sorry for the off topic-appreciate any help!

Lancaster=Lankister. Not a long A sound in the first syllable and don't pronounce it like the actor, Burt Lancaster. The emphasis is on the first syllable.
Since your in the Bucks County region, I'd suggest a day trip to Peddler's Village in Lahaska PA. This time of year is my favorite time to visit. They have a scarecrow festival going on now. Shopping, strolling, eating and taking in the beauty of the place in fall can't be beat.
I miss it!

If you go to Philly, I'd suggest a sight-seeing tour bus ride as the sights and high points are spread out.
A train ride to DC is about 3 hours by Amtrak and if you're on this coast and have the time and money, I'd totally do it. This is the time of year to visit DC. Well, the other time is during the Cherry Blossom Festival/peak bloom. The summer sucks because it can be hotter than Hades and as humid as a rain forest. Yuck!

Kate had no SHAME in outright LYING on TV even after Andy says he saw her watching Real Housewives.

So the truth according to Kate is even if Andy saw her backstage WHILE the debate was being aired and saw Kate instead watching RH, Kate says she could not watch the debate because she was travelling into the city. So either Kate has a doppleganger or Kate LIED.

Kate has LIED so much about everything big and small that she can not stop herself was LYING.

About celebs that dont want to be noticed - it's a THING in Nashville. Only clumsy first time tourists get gaga over celebs. I tried to take a pic once of Willie Nelson while we were in Hardrock and I thought my daughter was going to die of embarrassment. It's like a rule, you leave them alone. Somebody like that Gosselin woman would be shown the door for her screaching and attention seeking behavior. If song writer and grammy winner John Rich can get banned so can a ZList hoochie tramp from Pa.

Last weekend DD#3 was near a celeb actor, certainly not A List but cute as a button, (and I am a huge fan of his!) when my text came through to her about the dog. This guy hung with her for half an hour to make sure she was ok, seemed totally surprised when she finally 'fessed up that she had known all afternoon who he was. He sent me a text from his phone and also sent me a small handwritten note of sympathy. He would not have done all that if my daughter had been acting the fool around him in the first place.

*I* remember my dad taking us to a potato chip factory in the inner city of Detroit, where we would stand at the end of the conveyor belt while an employee would scoop hot chips into the paper lunch bags we brought from home. I know for safety reasons stuff like that doesnt happen anymore, and it was nothing but a bag of chips, but it didnt cost my dad an extra penny and it was so special! My dad was big on finding places that allowed 'behind the scenes' tours and tastings. For free of course. Best memories ever.

My kids remember the public library, lots and lots of days in the children's section of the library. They didnt know we were hiding out from the summer heat, or even bitter cold where they couldnt play outside.

Formerly Duped said...

I have more memories of playing outdoors than in- summer heat, sandboxes, wading in the lake, cool grass underfoot in the evening; nose-nipping cold snowy days building a perfect snow family; jumping in piles of autumn leaves that had that certain 'fall' smell; excited not to be wearing boots or tights in spring- the mud, flowers blooming, feeling carefree and certain that childhood & life were forever.

What you are saying about celebs in the Nashville area is absolutely true. We might be surprised to see them, but we don't bother them as a rule. I took my SIL to Hard Rock for lunch when she was visiting from out of state. Amy Grant walked by as we were waiting to be seated and I said to SIL, "There's Amy Grant." SIL said, "That's not Amy Grant." Amy turned and said, "Yes it is." She was being presented with a gold record in a private room and was on her way back from the ladie's room. We shop with them in the grocery store, see them going into drs. offices and just out running errands. They rarely are bothered and they drive their own cars around with no bodyguards in sight.

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said...

There are many parts of L.A. celebs are respected just like that too and don't dress to be noticed.

The famewhores know not to waste a lot of time hanging out in places where no one cares and no one is taking photos.

Didn't someone ask if this type of Blog keeps Kate relavant?

There is nothing on this Blog that idolizes Kate Gosselin. We see her mistakes, we catch her lies, we rate her looks as they change faster than I empty my bladder, which is so often now a days, and the way she pleads on behalf of the children "they miss being on TV" when you know that maybe 1 would want a disney type show, Mady, but the others just want to be children, enjoy Holidays and they are doing that with Daddy.

So as long as Kate is not off the air, has given the children to Jon and visits with Steve 1x a month, I will stay blogging. I will point out every slap at Collin as he passes the refrigerator, why? Because like all of us, we open the refrigerator and look in. We know what is in there, but Collin just looked as his mother opened the refrigerator.

Who has slapped you across your face constantly since you were a baby? Pulled you up by your hair? Who has beat you in your crib until you can't breathe from crying because it hurts so bad? Huh?

Someone want to tell me how Kate is a good person? If it isn't in her Journal, it is all over the You Tube.com site, go look. And those children are afraid of her.

She punishes those little boys after they made cupcakes, they couldn't have the cupcake. Just another night in the Gosselin house, what will my punishment be for being alive and my mother not having a TV show? My mother doesn't have another top selling book, what will the punishment be, my mother isn't going to be on an interview show, what will she do to me today? Where can I hide?

What does Kate Gosselin do when she is drinking and wandering around that house? Does she wake those children up with her screams? Does she?

I have never met Kate Gosselin and I would not want to. I have been watching her on you tube, thru K8, DWTS and what I see makes me very ill.

Remember when a child would rather have their nanny pick them up from the school bus than their mother, it says a lot. I watch those little robots stand, don't move, don't move even if I am squeezing your face so hard, blocking your breathing, you stand and do not move.

Nope I am not going anywhere. I would help pay for this web site with my own money. If she is one person we can stop from torture of children, animals and people who have to deal with her like people making a living servicing her, well that is one less horror story.

Keep her off of TV, radio, out of magazines, let everyone know what she is made of and it is not motherhood.

Just me...the man did wrong participating. At first they did need the money, the man did as told, he followed. He is the stupid Lamb and yes, he enjoyed the fun stuff, but he tried to stop it, he protected his kids and he is doing now what he needs to do to try to make up for their mother as well as their years in front of cameras. Remember he was on JK8, not K8 also.

So come forth yea who need a Halo, oh and yes how about the animal abusers they can come forth now to and I will give you my version of a Halo, it is called a Jackhole.

Just me...Jon is a part of this equation, very much so. The only people who can forgive him, try to forget what happened is those children. As far as I am concerned, he is making that effort and has been for a couple years now.

Yes, the famewhores of all famewhores, not the Kardashians, although they are 2nd. But the Lohans and what the parents have done to that girl will, I fear, be a horrible headline. The mother and father's hate for each other will never allow that girl to have any kind of life out of the limelight. The mother on coke, the father selling her phone calls to him (he just went thru what his 4th rehab) the whole family is or has been on drugs and alcohol.

This is terrible. Wanting to be in the limelight.

I don't know about any of you, but I am not a fan of Linday's movies, don't know her really. But this saga of her parents and how they have sought her money, drugged out of their minds on other TV shows. Fighting to be her manager. All very sad.

When you said Did they deliberately run into the street after you told them no and nearly get killed? brought back a memory of the only time I smacked my 3 year old daughter on the butt. We lived on a boulevard that had a lot of traffic. One day I was raking leaves on the front lawn and she was playing in the laneway. She saw a cat on the other side of the road and suddenly ran out into the street. Thankfully there were no cars coming, I screamed and ran after her, grabbed her by the arm and brought her back to the sidewalk, and spanked her bottom three times. I looked at her, and she looked back with her big green eyes as if to say, What are you doing? and then she started crying and I felt so guilty it was the one and only time I smacked her. I can't imagine Kate spanking her children nearly daily, her heart must be made of stone.

Lauren, you said it so well, children don't remember luxuries, they remember the simple things.

Kate lives in Kateland, so if she thinks her twins with the Iphones have no access to the interet because she thinks SHE controls it, that's all she needs to know.

Tomorrow she'll be home farting rainbows and unicorns, whining about her exhaustedish ife. Maybe a CC blog written by someone else. And that pretty much sums up life in Kateland. Hope the kids had a good fall weekend with their dad, you know, just a regular, normal weekend.

But you all are what keeps me checking in here, because it is surely not the continued boring life and times of Kate Gosselin. She is just not all that, I don't even care if and when she meets karma face to face any more. Meh, no double meh.

I remember playing recorder duets with my mom at lunchtime, with the music propped up on the breakfast dishes, and then rushing through my milk and sandwich in time to get back to school...sometimes Mama would make graham crackers dipped in chocolate for lunch. We jokingly called it "Monkey vomit on Toast" until the day my teacher asked me what I had for lunch (I was 6, in Grade Two). She called my mom about that.

I agree, Angie! After all the misery he lived through with KK, he STILL said this:

"I would like to apologize to my friends, family, and especially my children for not taking a stand earlier in my life and not questioning my decisions to have our lives documented and displayed," he wrote. "I will have to answer to my children for the rest of my life. I will have to live with this guilt the rest of my life. I am truly sorry!"

You are right when you say Jon deserves a halo!!

So true about childhood memories. Even memories of getting in trouble are good when viewed from a distance, if your parents don't beat the crap out of you at the time. Especially fun is revealing all those "don't tell you mum" moments spent with my papa or older siblings. I was lucky to have multiple step parents (the number is still growing) and each one came with kids of their own and their own traditions to be part of. Ah, great times. I think I'll go ring a few family, or former, family members...

I used to be a HUGE fan of Mel Gibson. I can't even tell you how much of a fan I was. I followed all of the news about him for years and saw every movie he ever made. He was my favorite actor and I loved hearing about what a devoted family man he was and how he was married for so long. I really respected him.

Until...2005 or 06 when he had the run in with the police and started spewing hate and venom. I saw him for what he really was. When I read and heard for myself the disgusting audio of him berating the mother of his child and how abusive he was it made me ashamed that I wasted my time on him.

There is NO WAY I would ever make excuses for the behavior of this man. NO WAY!

That's why I don't understand the sheeple and Kate Gosselin. They will blindly follow a child abuser, animal abuser, husband abuser and all around really nasty person. Is it a lack of intelligence? Do they not want to admit they're wrong? Have they not seen or heard enough proof? I don't get it.

Speaking of childhood memories, I was talking to mom today - the mother of eight kids, also worked as a nurse - and I was telling her about a wedding shower I was invited to and they wanted sheets for their bed that cost $700. I told her how ridiculous it was to ask people to spend that much on sheets for them. Then I said, do you remember the comforter blankets you made for our beds? I said I loved that thing. And she laughed and asked me if I had any bad memories of growing up because I am always talking about such happy things. I told her I'd try and think of something and let her know! We didn't have a lot of material things but the happy memories overflow!!

I think she is confined, and has latched onto Kate as a 'friend'. She gets occasional tweets and probably sees secret signals from Kate to Milo on every little media appearance kate makes. September 2006 We decided with the Carsons to skip the long dinner lines and go to my favorite restaurant for dinner. They were not nice to us even though I begged and begged. But they threw us the ‘wyomissing’ attitude and so we left. We went to a new restaurant called Charlie Brown’s and ended up waiting a long time… like an hour! The kids and the adults (especially me and Bob) were on our last nerve when they finally seated us

December 2006 So I called the doctor and they told me they were going to call in a round of steroids to decrease her inflammation and that I should call them if she was not dramatically better by Friday (dec 15). After I thought about that for awhile, I decided I was not happy with that and that I wanted her seen today… I called the ped again and also told them that Aaden also sounded crackly and asked if they would call in Zithromax for him and add 5ml to the bottle for Leah… well well well… when Pat called back she accused me of trying to be fraudulent and told me that Dr Iriana would NEVER do something like that!!!! I know that that is a lie, because Dr Iriana has done all but the same thing in the past!!!!! They were just annoyed with me and wanted to make my life difficult! (I had also had enough of the front office staff grilling me on every detail only to have to repeat it again to the nurse!!!!) I tell you what, this area and medical care is quite backwards!

You're so right. How anyone can champion this fame monger is beyond me. And it's not just nurses. Look back on her comment to Matt Lauer on the Today Show, when she called Jon's income and life mediocre.

Pass this woman a rumspringa!! I know what 2 year RNs are making and if that is what sitters are making in PA, I'll stand on my head.

And there are plenty of M-F day shift paper-nurse jobs available for RNs. I am not saying she would be competent, I am just saying they exist. In fact, Ally, she would not be competent at the bedside either. Not after all these years of her temper running amok.

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said...

Ally good for you, you should be insulted.

Nursing is a fine career that can support a family and everyone would just be babysitter if a nurse really couldn't make that much money.

In many ways, she insults health care institutions, implying they don't pay the nurses who do such good work for them what they are worth.

Just like he insults TLC, implying they did not pay her enough when in fact they gave this woman a ridiculous salary.

On another note, not that she would be good at home care or I would trust her with anyone, but she could have looked for a job as a baby nurse or other private home care for some of the wealthier families in the area. Again not that Im saying she should be trusted with ANYONE.

Khate's journals so highlight her 'it's all them not me' excuse state of mind. Does she admit anything, anything at all, is her fault? The closest she seems to get is saying something she did or thought is wrong... BUT she only did or thought that because of the horrible things others said or did. And all to often that other is a toddler.

What makes all of that so depressing is that everyone let her get away with it!

And she is so famous and amazing every media conglomerate on earth would chase her to her poor patients homes, plant cameras inside the homes, spend 23 hours a day trying to get the patient and family to give them the dirt on Khate and then the other hour that day to making stuff up because, of course, Khate is perfect and her patient and their family would absolutely adore her like everyone else whom has ever met her does.

It makes you think, is she really a friend or waiting for an occasional opportunity to smack down? Anyway, I find the comments more interesting than many things posted on the blog and would hate for you to stop posting them because a couple of people complain and would rather happy dance about imaginary rumspringa or whatever.

Does anyone else find it horribly sad that Kate mentions that all of her friends live out of state? The woman has sisters. No friends in the state of PA? This in itself is sad. Maybe this, too, is another of her exaggerations.
====

LaLaLand - I find it sad. But not in a 'I need a tranquilizer' sad. More like a head shaking sad. After seeing her interview on AH I watched the videos of Donald Trump. He had lots to say about Celebrity Apprentice. You can go to just about any celebrity site and see videos of people talking about the movie they just made or of their next project. Not Kate though. Nope. Her interview is always the same...Kate defending Kate. No projects, nothing. Sure the interviewer asks about the kids (to remind people that Kate has eight kids) and sure she's asked about the divorce that happened half a century ago, but it ends there. Kate hasn't got a thing to say or to promote. Running is not a career and neither is blogging. She doesn't even have enough talent to pretend that being a stay at home mom is a worthy occupation because she's too caught up in trying to be a celebrity. It's painful listening to her yabber on about the same old shit time after time, interview after interview. And yet she still thinks she's got a career in the media. There she is. Poor schmoopy. Friendless except for some made up bffs somewhere in another state and no family to turn to because they were too stupid to know how to help her. She's a real piece of work.

That's why I didn't make a rule not to post Milo's tweets because it appears that the people who don't like them are in the minority. Even if I'm in the minority, I'm not going to impose that on people. I try to pay attention to what the general consensus is as long as people aren't going overboard. It's not like these tweets are private. Anyone can go look at them. Bringing them here just makes it a little easier.

Thanks Dmasy. I think Kate is going to go to her grave feeling empty. You would think after all she's been given she would be happy to step back from it, say wow that was a great ride, now on with 'real' life. It's sad for her kids that she can't BE the mom she pretends to be.

Milo is a textbook case in abnormal psyc. She represents how a sheeple's mind works in defending a faux celebrity. While not everyone is as emotionally invested in Kate as Milo is, it is interesting to try to follow her development in celebrity worship, look at the extremes a fan will go to in the defense of their idol. It's a cult-like mentality, and while Milo is totally predictable, it's also obvious that she is at the highest level of Celebrity Worship Syndrome, which is an addiction that is indeed pathological. One thing is for certain, though. Milo loves the attention from both fans and non-fans. In fact, she seems to thrive on it, and the more she's called out on Twitter, the stronger her preoccupation with Kate's inside world becomes.

All that is true, of course, if Milo is one lonely soul from the Deep South. I'm still not sure about this one. One day I think she's just a lost person whose bizarre fascination has convinced her that Kate needs her and vice-versa; another day I think that it's all a public relations stunt with interns that spiraled out of control.

If Robert knows something, I sure wish he'd spill!

Tamara - speaking of Pepto Bismol, that's one of the few things I have a memory of when I was a kid. I was probably in 4th grade and my best friend was staying with us for a month while her parents were away. I think we tried a lot of things to get out of going to school, and one time one of us claimed an upset stomach. My mother gave me (or her - can't remember which) Pepto, which promptly made her (or me) throw up, and so that one got to stay home from school while the other one had to go. Not an allergy; it was just that it tasted really nasty.

I stayed off of this site for almost 3 to 4 weeks until all my bells and whistles are protecting all my technical instruments: computer, phone, etc. I don't say this lightly. I am fortunate as I use equipment monitored by work and that person will be located. But it is not that easy to break into one's computer unless you give away too much info on yourselves. At one time we had a list I made it up for our Limo ride, remember? I mixed up everyone's names and used States, not cities, so that threw them off. But mean criminals who love Kate are not everywhere. We are not worth busting in on I found out since the prison sentence and fine is a hefty one. I said that Jon and Kate have a dysfunctional dynamic and that there are two sides to the equation. I also said that ii thought that omitting any descriptions of Jon made it an incomplete story that lacked context and that might be why it is being largely ignored by mainstream media.

I have never said that it is all Jon's fault and the majority of my posts have been extremely critical of Kate. My views have been expanded, changed and influenced by other poster's perspective--apologies if I sounded as condescending as you stated in this post. I bring the experience of 32 years of marriage and professional experience and others bring their personal experiences. She stopped wearing Loft regularly a long time ago. She did tweet to someone last year that when she does PR (hahahahahahaha) like Today, View... she usually wore Loft but she was liking White House/Black Market at the moment.

As far as the Gymboree, when the tups were shown wearing brand new Gymbo at their 5th birthday party, only a few months after moving into a mansion, plus Daddy drove to the party in his new Nissan Nismo, many of the GWOP posters wrote to Gymbo and complained. We asked them if perhaps their corporate charity could go to a better cause than to a greedy millionaire. Posters also made Gymbo aware that Kate took ALL those free clothes and consigned them. I thought someone eventually got a reply saying Gymboree no longer had an affiliation with the Gosselins. And true enough, the kids were rarely or never shown wearing Gymboree again.

Although, Kate still required the kids have new clothing for filming. Was it the Alaska trip or RV trip or both, where Kate was shown taking clothes off hangers and ripping off tags? I wonder where Kate managed to grift those clothes from?

In the beginning of the RV episodes, Kate is shown tearing the new tags off of all the brand new clothes that she was given for the trip. Kate always demanded new clothes for everyone whenever they filmed an episode. She seemed very annoyed about having to remove the new tags by herself though. Usually a production assistant does the tedious work (normal, everyday mom things) for her.

Later Kate tells us, “And that is FDR. Do you see it?” When corrected by a member of the crew on camera, Kate looked angry and outraged and rolled her eyes and said “It’s Teddy Roosevelt, Ok, correct me, whatever, (rolling her eyes.) Wonders of the World)   “Grand Canyon, that’s where we’re going. A huge missing chunk of Earth, deep crevicy thing.” – Kate Gosselin
What else does Kate have to say about the Grand Canyon on this ‘educational, learning trip, as she’s standing at the edge of one of the most breathtaking sights anyone will ever see? “Whew, this is freaky! Wouldn’t wanna be here when an earthquake strikes.” “Oh, I am just so like, freakazoided. It’s like wasted land, I mean, like what could you ever do besides come and gawk at it?” Her friend Jamie, not pretending to know everything about everything like Kate asks, “I wonder how far it stretches?” And Kate answers, looking at the cameraman for approval, “Like ten thousand miles or something!?” (Educational note to Kate: The Grand Canyon is actually 277 miles long. Not 10,000. Close though for Kate. She only had two months of community college.)

As an example of just how scripted this show is, all of the kids were each given facts about various things on the trip that they could pretend to volunteer to make them seem well-educated. When they visit Old Faithful, Hannah speaks out of turn and Mady snaps, “Hannah! That was my fact! I’m starting over!” And Kate says, “Do you want to go sit on the end of the bench? And Mady says, “No, I want to start over!” Kate says, “No. Nobody’s listening twice!!” Then Kate tells us, to of course make this about her, “I’m about to spew like that thing. I’m getting really close.” The kids were loving watching Old Faithful spout steam and wanted to stay, but the crew got their shot and that’s all that mattered to Kate, who’d had enough of a few people taking pictures of her and watching “that thing.” “Let’s get outta here before we’re photographed to pieces. Let’s go!”

Kate’s best ‘friend’ Jamie and her other longtime ‘friend’ and babysitter Ashley were also along for the ride and Kate called them what the rest of us already knew they were… paid help. Kate wrapped things up with wide-eyed drama at the end, giving us these quotes. “I’ve gotten help but not the help to the degree that I was hoping I would get.” That’s Kate-speak meaning, Jamie and Ashley were being paid to do everything and Kate actually had to pitch in a little bit on this trip, and it was too much for her. “People leave my life and I keep on going.” “I’ve never had a run-in with Ashley, ever, till this trip, cause she has always said to me, I used to think that you were, ya know, mean and yelling at me when you were stressed but then I realized you were just yelling cause you were stressed.” Hold on Kate, you just told us you’ve never had a run-in with Ashley, ever, but in the same breath you quote Ashley about all the times you’ve yelled at her??? “Pretty much everyone leaves me eventually, and, most people can’t take it, but I have to take it. I can’t leave so, I wouldn’t leave if I could.” “This has been the greatest organizational challenge of my life, and other than the exhaustion, the fact that my back hurts, my kids are screaming, my babysitter quit and all that, I actually still strangely enjoy the organization factor. I don’t know why.” “I’m not happy and I shouldn’t be happy. I have always had what we needed. I am masterminding for fifteen people. I am not along as help. Naturally I’m a little busy. The funny thing is we pull out 25 minutes late and it’s always my fault cause they’re in there watching a movie. I went in yesterday, they’re all in the air conditioning on the HDTV and I just went… not one adult came and and asked if they could, is there anything I can do? I mean, that’s not paid help in my opinion, I’m sorry. I feel very bad saying bad things about two of the people I like the most. I’m not trying to say it about them, I just, I don’t know what happened to them. I don’t know if this is like posh trip that they’re usually used to going on, I, I don’t know what it is. We don’t go on posh trips. I struggle from the beginning to the end. I get very little sleep.” Ashley then proceeds to expose Kate further by saying “The two hours yesterday that she’s talking about that she was ‘getting ready,’ she was putting on her makeup and taking a shower, and we had all the kids ever here. It’s just BS. It’s just a joke to me and if she really, if that’s what she thinks, I’m over it. It’s bullcrap. It’s such a joke. It’s enough. I’ve had it.”

The kids moved on to grifted Peace Love World clothes and Kate's RV wardrobe was from White House/Black Market.
What struck me about Kate and her brand new WHBM clothes was that this is not inexpensive clothing, and Kate was just ripping the tags off! Come on! Again, no respect for things. Get a pair of scissors and treat the clothing like they have some value!

KT confuses being paid to be a part of the show with being paid to babysit. I have always thought that was her real issue on that trip, that both J and Ash. were paid a pretty good chunk of change for their appearance as they were an integral part of the story line and not behind the scenes baby sitters.

Who in their right mind would ever ask KT if there is anything they could do to help. Their only rest from that moment on would be the hour or so it would take her to tap out the list on her 5th PINK EYE phone (intentional).

It's not like these tweets are private. Anyone can go look at them. Bringing them here just makes it a little easier.

Then perhaps you should change Rule #4 to read "No trash talking other blogs or bloggers unless the majority deems them worth trashing, in which case go right ahead."

Then perhaps you should change Rule #4 to read "No trash talking other blogs or bloggers unless the majority deems them worth trashing, in which case go right ahead."

But Milo's comments aren't on another blog, her own or someone else's. They're public tweets. Fair game.

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said...

Unless Milo has a blog I don't know about, Milo is not a blogger and Twitter is not a blog. The purpose of that rule is to prevent blogs on blogs, or a blog that just talks about other Gosselin blogs (which as we've seen invariably leads to fights, outings, etc., none of which I want here).

I have never made a rule about Twitter. Twitter is apples and oranges from a blog. On Twitter, Kate is talking directly to the public and her fans are talking directly to her. That doesn't happen on a blog.

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said...

To put it another way, there are many sheeple comments on the sheeple blogs I'm sure that are just as bad as Milo's but they are not allowed to be posted here. They are on another blog, another sandbox, and aren't made directly to Kate. If Milo wants to camp out on a blog and make her comments there instead, she wouldn't be fair game anymore. Instead she chooses to tweet them directly to Kate.

Anonymous said...

She has posted for years on Baby Mama's site and she posts on the very scary Ziggy Flo's site.

Ah, so the the rule really is, "It is perfectly acceptable to trash those who Tweet, but not those who blog. And if someone both Tweets and posts on blogs, you may trash the Tweets but not the blog comments. Oh, and you can only trash Tweets made directly to Kate." Got it.

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said...

&&&

I didn't know that. Because those posts were never ONCE brought over here. If she wants to go back to those sites she can and her posts won't be brought here.

You may not like the rule, you may not see the difference, but that's the rule. Like it or not, twitter is a unique format that allows fans to interact with their celebrity directly, and some people like to follow that as it plays out. I'm not going to stop them. Moreover, concern and fascination about certain fan's level of devotion and obsession is not "trashing", it's concern and fascination.

1. I like to blog about Milo because that person reads here and then goes and makes a tweet spinning it the exact opposite.

2. I think Milo is not who they say they are, and gets some compensation.

3. OOOH, the book is getting attention, but probably from threats by lawyers....can't blog about it YET. They have been told it's libel, but they will. It's too good of a story, and should be exposed.

4. Kate has a dysfunctional relationship with EVERYONE on planet earth, not just Jon. Jon was a saint to put up with it for so long. I am sure it was for the kids, since he was the primary caregiver. So it's laughable to say there was a bad dynamic.

5. I believe Kate has 4-5 people on payroll to blog positive things about her....it's one of those stay at home jobs.

6. She is now on the z-list.

I like the blog topic but we all know we should fix things if we can. The problem is HOW.

How about links to some web sites that offer simple directions and videos for the fix-it challenged ladies? Youtube is a great resource. Or other resources, perhaps there is some kind of hotline you can call, or check out the library nonfiction for literature on various projects. Do some RESEARCH for your blog.

Oh and Kate you didn't know how to hang a simple picture??? Pathetic.

Tucker's Mom said...

You know ladies, I think I've changed my mind about CC keeping Kate blogging. This is just too funny to give up!
Kate's staring down 40 and feels like hammering a nail is amazing!! and she still. can. not. paint.
Who can't figure out how to paint?
Oh, and kudos for jiggling the toilet handle to "fix' it.
Life after apparently being raised as a princess, having boyfriends, a husband, TLC, a production crew and Steve has made this woman absolutely helpless.

Tucker's Mom said...

We all have handymen on speed dial, don't we??

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said...

She really does sound like a princess. I also love how she refuses to mention who did all the fix-it stuff before. Jon of course. While she gave orders.

Painting is a pain in the butt, the prep is a lot of work, and for that reason I'd rather pay someone. But it's not that hard.

Most of all her blogs never go beyond step 1. For that reason they are useless. Yes we know we should try to fix the toilet, but how do we do that, Kate???

There are so many YouTubes on how to fix things- I have taken on a lot of these jobs due to costs and my husband being ill this past winter- but I have always known how to hang a picture! I think there should be a mandatory school course for boys and girls that includes shop ( tools), car maintenance, cooking, mending, all the things Kan-do Kate could not do. I am especially interested b/c you never know when you are the one who is responsible to fix what's broken and a handy man is expensive.
The topic of this blog was a good one, but I leaned zilch as usual from Kate.

Rhymes with Witch said...

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said...

Yes see I think the topic is a good one, but she needs so much help with blogging. Her blog post is a CONTENT FARM post, not a real post designed to help. To see posts that are NOT content farm posts and actually are helpful, check out Pioneer Woman.

A good post would have said hey ladies these are the four or five BASIC tools you need in your fix-it kit. And these are the 6 or 7 things that are nice to have too.

Then it would have laid out each room and the common problems you might encounter there. Maybe throw in an example of how to fix something simple, then point to other resources around the web that can help you out when something is broken. That would be a START to a great blog post about fixing things.

For some reason, I love painting. I love transforming a room with something so (relatively) cheap. I get sample chips, then paint samples, then do a mock up and decide on what color I want.
I particularly enjoy taping. Weird, I know, but I can zip, zip it out in no time.
I don't do high ceilings, or anything that requires going up high on a ladder and I'm no good going free hand, so for those areas, we hire a painter, and that can be a crap shoot!
This may be my queue to finally get around to choosing a new color for a couple rooms that need a face lift and fresh look.

There was a time that I kept a running list for the “fix it” man and when there were five or so items on the repair list, I gave him a call. I honestly didn’t know how to hang a picture, or do any simple home improvement repairs – and of course, anything beyond that was not even an option for me.

Juggling eight kids with work and running the basics of our home also didn’t allow for much home repair education. However, as time has gone on, I’ve stepped into the never-ending world of tools, gadgets and fix-its that is Lowe’s and Home Depot and I’m happy to report that I no longer feel like an alien on planet Earth.

Now I go beyond just taking note of things like broken toilets and furnace problems but have even become excited about trying to fix them myself. In the process, I’ve managed to not only save frustration and time but most importantly, I’ve saved a lot of money. Who wouldn’t get excited about that?

I certainly cannot fix everything, but just this week alone, I’ve managed to repair a hand towel rack, a shower curtain rod that was sagging, a toilet handle that had broken AND I put oil in my car – all without the use of a handyman.

I am still amazed (and so are my kids!) that in the past, I’ve taken on barn alterations to accommodate our growing flock of chickens using a staple gun, drill and hammer. I feel that it’s important that my kids see me addressing household problems and attempting to fix them on my own.

Mind you, there are plenty of home repairs that I can’t tackle myself like repairing drywall, and oh yes, painting, just to name a few. For those things, and many others I still gladly budget for a handyman. But, it’s so freeing to know that even I can learn to be a “Ms. Fix It” and save lots of money in the process.

So, you heard it from me. If I can save money on home repairs by applying the “do-it-yourself” method, anyone can!

Come on, ladies! Wipe the dust off that hammer, get out those nails and charge up that drill. For the sake of saving money, we can do this!

XO,
K8

A fantastic tie-in would be that at this time of year, Christmas sales are starting (already, I know) and there are lots of tool kids on sale for the (mostly) guys.
When I was on my own, from the get-go I had a tool box that had all of the essentials. I don't know, maybe it was because my dad was very handy and maybe because I have a brother, but I was always privy to what to have handy to fix things.
In fact now, DH and I both brought our own tool boxes into the marriage and he has absolutely defiled mine! It is stuffed with I don't know what crap! Old hinges, a door stop, etc.
It drives me NUTS to go into the tool boxes for something specific and I can't find it!
I don't know if I'll ever reclaim my own toolbox, but such are the little things you have to let go of sometimes ;-)

Sorry this is long, but it’s something that’s been puzzling me. Remember a while back how Jon did an interview saying something about Kate’s a good mom?

There was something “off” about that interview because she is clearly NOT a good mom. No way could any sane person observing her, let alone living with her, come to the conclusion that she’s a good mom.
His words and body language were oddly submissive. He had a sheepish/guilty look on his face, IMO. At the time there was speculation that he was saying that in order to get more custody or something. Which may well have been true, but I’m starting to wonder about that now.

There was something really weird about that interview. Like there was a hidden message to Kate.

He was apologetic, saying he’d done things (presumably to Kate) that he wouldn’t want done to him.
That’s the piece that didn’t make sense to me. It seemed like an odd thing to say. Like what things?
Yeah, he was out seeing other women, but she was emotionally involved with Steve long before that (even if only one-sidedly, and perhaps not romantically, but still involved) AND she’d supposedly told him he could do so; Jon being out with other women shouldn’t have been a problem.
Yeah, he behaved incredibly stupidly for many months around the divorce, but she was beating toddlers and dogs for years.
She had tricked him (one way or another) into having more kids than they’d agreed to. I couldn’t imagine that anything he had done was worse than that.

So…what things would he have done to her that he wouldn’t want done to him? What would be worse than tricking him into have HOM?

Hmmm….hmmm….hmmm…. Having a hand in gosslinbook? We might be getting closer to the truth here. Maybe he had a hand in something private becoming public?

I wonder if the sheepish look and the apologetic words were because by that time Kate was aware of what information gosselinbook had, and would *know* what part Jon had played in that book coming about, that he had somehow betrayed her.
Maybe he somehow was involved in gosselinbook becoming aware of the information, or outright gave gosselinbook some of the information.
Or he was regretful about having let gosselinbook into their lives….he didn’t realize that gosselinbook would get so worked up about the abuse and would become obsessed with stopping it.

I don’t know. There was something there that didn’t make sense. I had a feeling at the time that he was apologizing for something not yet publicly known. That he was feeling partially responsible for a shi*t storm that had yet to hit.
