Birthday prep for the kids

Kate was spotted at Party City on Wednesday. The twins turn 10 on Friday. Here's hoping for a very happy birthday that includes both parents at some point, and no cameras.

Later she was seen with the Kate-lookalike nanny, picking up the children from the bus stop.

Jon actually asked the twins what they wanted to do for their birthday.

They chose Olive Garden for dinner and a trip to the mall.

What a great dad!

Kate will do something, no doubt. But it will be something *she* thinks is fun.

Could we just see 1 huge, loving, happy smile at her kids? Just 1? Like when she is being a "stah"?

She needed the nanny to help drop off the kids at school than dropped the nanny off at the house for cleaning duties so she could get her photo/op with Chris in tow.

Who is the hired help laden down with all the back packs?

I wish she would stay away from my neck of the woods!! I wouldn't mind running into Jon, but Kate....bleh. :/

Oh wait, you said Party City, not Park City. I misread. Well, I still wish she'd stay away from around here, she shows up often enough, lol!

I read the SAME THING at first! I never see her at Park City, only at the Berkshire Mall.

Betsy -- she doesn't take the kids to school. Her local personal appearances are at the bus stop, Target, UPS, dry cleaners, consignment shop, and the gas station!

Bus stop fun? Really? Those kids don't look like they are having alot of fun. Poor children. I just wish there is more than can be done to protect these kids not just from the filming but their own despicable drill sergeant mother. Oh, Kate is too lazy to get her butt out of bed to actually take her kids to school, even for a photo op. She really is a poor excuse for a mother.

I'll give her a pass on that one (gasp). I wouldn't want drive four hours a day (school commute) when all of the other kids in the area ride the Reading bus. It's a great chance for the kids to be with their friends, rather than ride with their "drill sergeant" mother!

The bus stop allows her a photo op, while she wouldn't be photographed at school because the paps aren't allowed on the property!

Really? Kate doesn't get up every morning, remind them where to put things when they get home, and throw their shoes at their feet? What a relief. Usually I wouldn't say this, but in the G8's case, the less mommy/ the more nanny the better

I wonder if she has threatened them with a mean nanny yet like she did with the boyfriend/new husband thing.
