Sounds like a hint to me, as "Sad but true" said @7. It must be close to a year since this was taped. I watched the clips and it was sad to see precious Collin knowing what we know now about what has transpired in the meantime.
I won't be watching but it will be interesting to see how the fans react to seeing Collin and whether or not they realize how out of order this season's shows have been shown. Deliberately I think to give the impression he is back in the mansion and all is well with this dysfunctional family.
There is a full bathroom in her basement. Why not dedicate it for the dogs? If you have dogs, who stay outside, they get dirty. Clean them up in that bathroom. Duh.

If TFW can't wait to see it because they played the game a while ago, then she is a producer in name only. Because a real producer would have already seen a cut or two of the episode before it aired.
I saw that bing she tweeted last week about "not the end...just a break". When I clicked on her tweet, it showed the conversation , someone had asked her (it was either 11 or 13 minutes before then of the show), it it the end already?". I took the exchange to be someone asking if that night's show was over, and Kate responding that it was just a (commercial) break. It did 't look like the tweeter responded.
Sadly, tonight's show might do fairly well. It's a season finale, and ratings usually go up for those. Plus Collin is in it. We'll have to wait and see.

I agree completely. I grew up with loving, nurturing, and comforting parents so I can't relate, but I can imagine how isolating and alone the Gosselin children must feel when they see other children receiving comfort from their parents or when they've had a bad day and just want someone to lean on and TFW can't or won't be there for them. Or, when their brother has been gone from the family for 8 months and you're scared for him and about the future. Aunt Jody or Beth would have been that person for them, but we all know what happened there.
Kate's Instagram is pathetic. Dogs and kids and herself, over and over, ad nauseum. Nothing inspirational, nothing interesting. Know who has an amazing Instagram? Kelly Rutherford (from Melrose Place/Gossip Girl/Quantico). She posts pictures of family, friends, art, inspirational quotes, her travels, flowers, foods...you name it. Take a look--it's beautifully done. Kate's is so tacky in comparison.

Sooo, it appears that there will be another season (from her tweet), which makes TLC's lack of promotion for this show all the more confusing. It's like they want it to fail, yet still don't want to let go. Why refuse to properly promote a show they have paid for? Don't they want to make money off it? TLC is a business. They exist to make money. I don't get it!
Oh great, now Milo's going to "tease" Kate endlessly about Vann. Remember the Grow-A-Boyfriend thing she just couldn't let go, even when the sheep were thoroughly sick of it? I'm sure that will pale in comparison to all the teasin' and jokin' she can do over a real live human man.

Anyone else see the ads for Mama June's new reality show? It will be on WE and is called Mama June: Not to Hot. They put words on the screen like weight loss surgery and breast implants. I guess she's undergoing lots of surgery so she can be on tv again. Lovely.

I spent the evening watching President Obama's farewell speech and trying to keep up with details on the Kremlin's blackmail dossier, far more interesting and newsworthy than watching that screeching madwoman.
Collin is a shell of his former self. It's so sad. He is a smart kid and remembers everything. Bad news for K8. This was another waste of time. Kate accused her kids of cheating, everyone was screaming at everyone, and Kate thinks it's great that Mady is so snotty. Tragic. This crapfest has to end.
The comments on facebook are so against Maddy. For that matter against the family except the boys. Here is one comment:

I thought the show was plain boring. How many times do we have to see this family fill-up two shopping carts with wasted goods for a simple activity. Why did they need those stupid sheets. It was dumb and a complete waste of money. Who cares what a crab's name was many years ago. Who cares where they were years ago when they did an activity. The whole family is in chaos...minus the boys. And Collin did not appear to be himself in that episode. Mady is beyond rude and out of control. And Kate actually complimented Mady's behavior at the beginning of the show. Kate thinks her behavior is positive. I hope Admin. comments on this in her review.

I found it interesting that Collin and Alexis were of course on Kate's team (Cara stated she chose the three kids she wanted and then gave Kate "whoever was left"). Many comments that I've seen were people talking about how "drugged" Collin looked. It's a shame.

Collin...such a bright, handsome boy but just a shell of his former self. He couldn't thrive in that chaotic jungle because he's sensitive and needs order in his life. Kate and TLC have destroyed those children's chance of normal lives. One trivia question flashed by TLC had to do with which child had gum on his toy bear. Complete insensitivity...take a traumatic event in a child's life and turn it into a "game show" question when that child is now in crisis mode. The damage TLC is doing to this family and many others is unconscionable and irreparable. I anticipate many lawsuits when all of the affected children reach 18.
Poor Collin looked so terribly thin. Thought maybe the drugs he was on suppressed his appetite, but the way he wolfed down that popcorn, I don't think so. Kate starved that boy..with held food as punishment I think. Where ever he is at, I hope he is being fed all he can eat for a change, and is gaining some much needed weight.

When your family is severely fractured and serious problems exist, it would be a good time to address some of the problems in the house, rather than filming very bad behavior. When filming is "your life" and "your life is filming," maybe your priorities are wrong.
Maybe if she included Jon in parenting, they could provide a united front for the kids. But when TFW is done with you, she is done with you. The kids should come first, but she's in charge and that is never going to change.

A few observations from last night... #1 Total snorefest - ANOTHER 'look back' show #2 Mady was absolutely horrible last night. She seriously thinks she's being funny but her behavior is so obnoxious and it's disturbing to think Kate allows it. #3 Kate got caught in such a lie. The kids came right out and admitted that Kate doesn't let them watch the newer seasons. #4 Collin...oh sweet boy. My heart just aches for him. Seeing him before he was sent away, so innocent looking, not realizing how his life is about to change. So heartwrenching. #5 Alexis...disconnected from the rest of them. They are really mean to her. Kate was actually nice to her and tried to make her feel better. #6 Kids came out and admitted they don't really remember from so long ago & that they were too young to remember it. Like they got their own quotes wrong. Kate and Cara were the only ones to remember stuff. #7 Alexis seemed very tired and lethargic during the couch interviews.

XXXXX I was SO excited for last night's episode..because for the first time in the WHOLE SEASON, Collin was actually in an episode. I thought YES the boys are back together! We're gonna get answers on where he's been and how he's doing, he's gonna get to talk and say how he's missed everybody. I was wrong on all counts and hated that I wasted an hour watching a bitchy little 16 year old boss her family around just like her control-freak of a mother. They barely let Collin be on camera, let alone speak. And despite mentions and acknowledging that he was absent from the show in basically every other episode..you'd think they would say SOMETHING about it when he's actually there. Was this the season finale? I hope so because I'm pretty much over it. And that's sad because I've watched this show from the beginning. Take a hint TLC; let the show die. When Maddie gets more face time than the rest of the kids? It's OVER.

I can understand wanting your home to be safe place to share your feelings. But they are kids and she needs to be the mediator. Someone has a problem with Mady, the child needs to come to Kate with the problem and she can decide how it should proceed, which would be to bring the 2 kids together and have them talk it out, yell it out, whatever but there has to be boundaries set. Not just a free for all, say what you want, when you want, how you want and expect that to work.
But of course, we saw her instagram post recently that she didn't want to hear any of their complaints. And years of footage where she told them as toddlers to work it out themselves.

You know, there is such a thing as be tactful, and utilizing your "filter"- whether with your family, or in public situations.

We're streaming "The Crown". Highly recommend. Don't want it to end. So well done. ____ OMG, I've watched it twice. And Claire Foy (the Queen) just won a Golden Globe. I've read that they have planned out a total of 60 episodes; they are filming season 2 now. I don't know if they'll get to 60, but it's nice to anticipate. Interestingly, they're also planning to change out the leads in the third or fourth season, they don't plan on "aging" them with make-up. That would be fascinating, to see other actors try to take on those parts in mid-stream.
Well I watched it. Most disturbing In the middle of the lightning round, out of the blue, Kate tells Collin: "Collin, one more round then I'm coming up" and a bit later she says "Collin!" and Collin immediately(and I mean in 2 seconds flat) sits down.
What can I say about the rest? It was horrible when over the years they showed the kids throw up, be scared, be upset etc. Showing/forcing Collin to film, not actually letting him play, clearly keeping him as a prop because the show is plus EIGHT is degrading and despicable. TLC should've never filmed Collin in the state he was in.

Kris (#130), I think TFW only "parents" when the cameras are rolling. The boys are in their basement mancave -- nice and far from Mom, so she doesn't have to be bothered with them, except for reprimanding them when she needs to. The girls probably argue so much that she doesn't even hear it anymore. And she's got her coffee maker in the room, so she can stay in there for hours and hours without coming out.
I'm feeling very angry and snotty towards TFW this morning, having read about C being trotted out in front of the cameras before his disappearance. That poor, sweet boy.

Kate Gosselin's troubled son Collin made a surprise appearance on Tuesday's season finale of Kate Plus 8.
The 12-year-old had missed being filmed for season five while getting treatment for educational and social challenges in a secret center even dad Jon insisted he was not told about.
Kate, 41, had opened up on the premiere of how it was 'tough' for everyone that he even had to miss his 12th birthday party with the rest of her sextuplets, insisting: 'Throughout this last year he has really continued struggling.'
But Collin was there with the rest of his family as they ended the season with a fun family game show about their show's history during which mom Kate wore a bizarre looking pink wig.
The show made no fanfare of his appearance nor mentioned exactly when the episode was filmed.
Collin sat quietly throughout the family quiz show, looking serious but getting engaged when it was his turn to try to answer quiz questions.
He was also with his brothers Joel and Aaden as they were interviewed on a sofa, sitting quietly with his hands under his legs.
He let his brothers do almost all the talking, until they said they had no idea where Massachusetts was, with him insisting: 'It's like over by Michigan, right?'
Collin had been on his mother's team for the quiz where they were challenged about key events from the history of their show, along with brother Joel and sister Alexis.
One of Kate's oldest twins, Cara, 16, lead the other team, and with Aaden, Leah and Hannah easily trounced their mother's team 32-22.

I remember seeing a show with dog trainer Bill Berloni, who worked with the original Sandy for "Annie" on Broadway, and is still a trainer and fierce animal advocate. They showed his dogs working on a music video on a sweltering day, and he actually made them stop production for the dogs to have a break because it was too hot. So every single actor and crew member just had to take a break, because in Bill's eyes, the health and wellbeing of his dogs was being compromised. Yet for more than a decade, the Gosselin children have not been afforded that level of respect or concern -- for their physical, mental, or emotional welfare. I don't care if the contract was signed in blood -- a good mother would NEVER have let things deteriorate the way they have in her family.
If it's true there's a new season, we know they haven't started filming it yet---not when they were still doing couch interviews for the current episodes into November 2016. And we know they didn't travel over the holiday break.
Wow. How Mady talked to Aaden when all he was doing was playing with an empty plastic bag. She acted like he was holding something he would break or ruin.
It's ridiculous how much they spent for the game show. They really needed to put covers on the sofas? So they bought king sized sheets and then bought 6 or 8 red long window panels and curtain rods. Plus the spinning wheel and bells. And a popcorn maker?? Kate even said it was expensive at the register. Of course TLC pays for it, but it's just ridiculous.
So Hannah covered her ears and kept saying "I can't hear you" on the couch when they were saying the "Hannah pooped..." quotes. She was kind of laughing when she said it, but she still seemed embarrassed about it. So we know that Hannah is embarrassed about it and doesn't like hearing it.
Later, Hannah said "embarrassing" on the couch and they made it seem like it was for something Aaden said about the beach, but I really think it was for the "Hannah pooped" quote. There was nothing embarrassing about Aaden's quote.
Ha. The kids said Kate doesn't let them watch the current episodes. Kate claims they are allowed to watch in "their spare time," so obviously IF THAT'S TRUE those kids have no spare time, between school, chores, homework, and filming, because they themselves said they can't watch them (actually said Kate doesn't let them). As far as the computer situation, there is absolutely no excuse for her delay in getting the boy's computer in time for school. You order online and it's delivered in a few days. And there are computers at Target, her store of choice. Even at Costco where she shops. And they have a house full of iPads and you can print from them. I cannot figure out her excuse at all. She has a computer so she should have let the boys use hers temporarily.

The Target footage in last night's episode was filmed Jan. 31, 2016.
They were also spotted filming at Target on Sep.24, 2016. I don't recall seeing that aired in any of the episodes, but I think they were probably filmed there as part of the Sweet 16 episode, but it wasn't used in the aired episode.
Everyone keeps saying the ratings are so bad TLC will have to stop filming. I don't agree. While her ratings are abysmal, she is a freak show and that is what TLC is all about. Remember the guy who wanted to have sex with his car? Any station that would put that kind of trash on will certainly keep Kate on. That is, until her revenue from advertisers drops. At this point, I just don't care anymore. That family is so screwed up it can't be fixed. So, have fun fans, because the only way you can be a fan of this mess is to be just like her. What was the story editor smoking? On the surface, it might have sounded like a cute idea. But this wasn't the cast of "Happy Days" reflecting on their favorite past episodes. These are actual children, and those were actual events they lived through -- or, in some cases, suffered through.

I agree completely. I grew up with loving, nurturing, and comforting parents so I can't relate, but I can imagine how isolating and alone the Gosselin children must feel when they see other children receiving comfort from their parents or when they've had a bad day and just want someone to lean on and TFW can't or won't be there for them. Or, when their brother has been gone from the family for 8 months and you're scared for him and about the future. Aunt Jody or Beth would have been that person for them, but we all know what happened there.
Kate's Instagram is pathetic. Dogs and kids and herself, over and over, ad nauseum. Nothing inspirational, nothing interesting. Know who has an amazing Instagram? Kelly Rutherford (from Melrose Place/Gossip Girl/Quantico). She posts pictures of family, friends, art, inspirational quotes, her travels, flowers, foods...you name it. Take a look--it's beautifully done. Kate's is so tacky in comparison.

So watching old footage of her little girl makes her cry, but she is a freaking iceberg when it comes to her preteen son being away from home for 8 MONTHS.
Well, not a lot of chit-chat, she diverted everyone by asking if they were getting the questions right. I sense a LOT of this was old footage. (Hannah's unnerwares, for the 999th time.)

And it's not like anyone plays the violin--or the piano--since it's hard to be serious about music when you never know what your schedule is going to be and so cannot plan lessons, practice, etc. The filming has in fact cheated them out of so much that makes life worth living.

Sooo, it appears that there will be another season (from her tweet), which makes TLC's lack of promotion for this show all the more confusing. Collin is a shell of his former self. It's so sad. He is a smart kid and remembers everything. Bad news for K8. This was another waste of time. Kate accused her kids of cheating, everyone was screaming at everyone, and Kate thinks it's great that Mady is so snotty. Tragic. This crapfest has to end.
The comments on facebook are so against Maddy. For that matter against the family except the boys. Here is one comment:

I thought the show was plain boring. How many times do we have to see this family fill-up two shopping carts with wasted goods for a simple activity. Why did they need those stupid sheets. The whole family is in chaos...minus the boys. And Collin did not appear to be himself in that episode. Mady is beyond rude and out of control. Makes me think of Orwell's Animal Farm: "All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others." She is a horrible mother.
Collin...such a bright, handsome boy but just a shell of his former self. He couldn't thrive in that chaotic jungle because he's sensitive and needs order in his life. Kate and TLC have destroyed those children's chance of normal lives. One trivia question flashed by TLC had to do with which child had gum on his toy bear. Complete insensitivity...take a traumatic event in a child's life and turn it into a "game show" question when that child is now in crisis mode. The damage TLC is doing to this family and many others is unconscionable and irreparable. I anticipate many lawsuits when all of the affected children reach 18.
Poor Collin looked so terribly thin. Thought maybe the drugs he was on suppressed his appetite, but the way he wolfed down that popcorn, I don't think so. Kate starved that boy..with held food as punishment I think. Where ever he is at, I hope he is being fed all he can eat for a change, and is gaining some much needed weight.

When your family is severely fractured and serious problems exist, it would be a good time to address some of the problems in the house, rather than filming very bad behavior. When filming is "your life" and "your life is filming," maybe your priorities are wrong.
Maybe if she included Jon in parenting, they could provide a united front for the kids. But when TFW is done with you, she is done with you. The kids should come first, but she's in charge and that is never going to change.

You know those sheets ended up on Kate's bed because she made sure the girls got the king size sheets. She had something else in her cart which I felt she 'snuck in' since TLC was paying for it, but didn't get a good look as they blurred it. Colin was definitely underfed--did anyone else notice how he dug into his popcorn? January 31, 2016 was a Sunday--so much for going to church. We all know filming took all day.
What did Kate call the sugar cubes when she had the 3 youngest girls to tea? She said glass cups instead of china. I guess the tea house did not have sippy cups for tea.

A few observations from last night...
#1 Total snorefest - ANOTHER 'look back' show
#2 Mady was absolutely horrible last night. She seriously thinks she's being funny but her behavior is so obnoxious and it's disturbing to think Kate allows it.
#3 Kate got caught in such a lie. The kids came right out and admitted that Kate doesn't let them watch the newer seasons.
#4 Collin...oh sweet boy. My heart just aches for him. Seeing him before he was sent away, so innocent looking, not realizing how his life is about to change. So heartwrenching.
#5 Alexis...disconnected from the rest of them. They are really mean to her. Kate was actually nice to her and tried to make her feel better.
#6 Kids came out and admitted they don't really remember from so long ago & that they were too young to remember it. Like they got their own quotes wrong. Kate and Cara were the only ones to remember stuff.
#7 Alexis seemed very tired and lethargic during the couch interviews.

I can understand wanting your home to be safe place to share your feelings. But they are kids and she needs to be the mediator. Someone has a problem with Mady, the child needs to come to Kate with the problem and she can decide how it should proceed, which would be to bring the 2 kids together and have them talk it out, yell it out, whatever but there has to be boundaries set. Not just a free for all, say what you want, when you want, how you want and expect that to work.

OMG, I've watched it twice. And Claire Foy (the Queen) just won a Golden Globe. I've read that they have planned out a total of 60 episodes; they are filming season 2 now. I don't know if they'll get to 60, but it's nice to anticipate. Interestingly, they're also planning to change out the leads in the third or fourth season, they don't plan on "aging" them with make-up. That would be fascinating, to see other actors try to take on those parts in mid-stream.
Well I watched it. Most disturbing In the middle of the lightning round, out of the blue, Kate tells Collin: "Collin, one more round then I'm coming up" and a bit later she says "Collin!" and Collin immediately(and I mean in 2 seconds flat) sits down.
What can I say about the rest? It was horrible when over the years they showed the kids throw up, be scared, be upset etc. Showing/forcing Collin to film, not actually letting him play, clearly keeping him as a prop because the show is plus EIGHT is degrading and despicable. TLC should've never filmed Collin in the state he was in.

Kris (#130), I think TFW only "parents" when the cameras are rolling. The boys are in their basement mancave -- nice and far from Mom, so she doesn't have to be bothered with them, except for reprimanding them when she needs to. The girls probably argue so much that she doesn't even hear it anymore. And she's got her coffee maker in the room, so she can stay in there for hours and hours without coming out.
I'm feeling very angry and snotty towards TFW this morning, having read about C being trotted out in front of the cameras before his disappearance. That poor, sweet boy.

I do wonder how much TLC/Figure 8 knew and/or understood about Collin's situation. We know K8 can lie very convincingly. But whatever she told them, the camera doesn't lie, and someone in charge of production should have noticed this child's demeanor and distress and acted on it. There are no excuses to be made for the crew.
I can't find the words to describe how horrible I feel for Collin after reading more of the overnight comments and the way people have described his appearance.
I can only hope for the children's sake TLC takes note of the comments submitted by absolute strangers who are voicing their concern for this precious boy and cancel for good this madwoman who is bent on destroying all her children's lives.

The 12-year-old had missed being filmed for season five while getting treatment for educational and social challenges in a secret center even dad Jon insisted he was not told about.
Kate, 41, had opened up on the premiere of how it was 'tough' for everyone that he even had to miss his 12th birthday party with the rest of her sextuplets, insisting: 'Throughout this last year he has really continued struggling.'
But Collin was there with the rest of his family as they ended the season with a fun family game show about their show's history during which mom Kate wore a bizarre looking pink wig.
The show made no fanfare of his appearance nor mentioned exactly when the episode was filmed.
Collin sat quietly throughout the family quiz show, looking serious but getting engaged when it was his turn to try to answer quiz questions.
He was also with his brothers Joel and Aaden as they were interviewed on a sofa, sitting quietly with his hands under his legs.
He let his brothers do almost all the talking, until they said they had no idea where Massachusetts was, with him insisting: 'It's like over by Michigan, right?'
Collin had been on his mother's team for the quiz where they were challenged about key events from the history of their show, along with brother Joel and sister Alexis.
One of Kate's oldest twins, Cara, 16, lead the other team, and with Aaden, Leah and Hannah easily trounced their mother's team 32-22.
TLC should've never filmed Collin in the state he was in.

I saw that ad after the show ended, but it wasn't very specific so I thought it was an old ad that TLC didn't bother to remove. There were several ads that started, then cut off during the show. Shoddy production all around.

They were scheduled to rerun some of the older shows (beginning with New England) starting this Friday, like 3-4 in a row. BUT I now see they're no longer on the schedule as posted on TLC's website. And I don't see any of her shows on their schedule in the near future. I wonder what that means.
I remember seeing a show with dog trainer Bill Berloni, who worked with the original Sandy for "Annie" on Broadway, and is still a trainer and fierce animal advocate. They showed his dogs working on a music video on a sweltering day, and he actually made them stop production for the dogs to have a break because it was too hot. So every single actor and crew member just had to take a break, because in Bill's eyes, the health and wellbeing of his dogs was being compromised. Yet for more than a decade, the Gosselin children have not been afforded that level of respect or concern -- for their physical, mental, or emotional welfare. I don't care if the contract was signed in blood -- a good mother would NEVER have let things deteriorate the way they have in her family.
If it's true there's a new season, we know they haven't started filming it yet---not when they were still doing couch interviews for the current episodes into November 2016. And we know they didn't travel over the holiday break.
Wow. How Mady talked to Aaden when all he was doing was playing with an empty plastic bag. She acted like he was holding something he would break or ruin.
It's ridiculous how much they spent for the game show. They really needed to put covers on the sofas? So they bought king sized sheets and then bought 6 or 8 red long window panels and curtain rods. Plus the spinning wheel and bells. And a popcorn maker?? Kate even said it was expensive at the register. Of course TLC pays for it, but it's just ridiculous.
So Hannah covered her ears and kept saying "I can't hear you" on the couch when they were saying the "Hannah pooped..." quotes. She was kind of laughing when she said it, but she still seemed embarrassed about it. So we know that Hannah is embarrassed about it and doesn't like hearing it.
Later, Hannah said "embarrassing" on the couch and they made it seem like it was for something Aaden said about the beach, but I really think it was for the "Hannah pooped" quote. There was nothing embarrassing about Aaden's quote.
Ha. The kids said Kate doesn't let them watch the current episodes. Kate claims they are allowed to watch in "their spare time," so obviously IF THAT'S TRUE those kids have no spare time, between school, chores, homework, and filming, because they themselves said they can't watch them (actually said Kate doesn't let them). Personally, I think Kate is a liar and those kids aren't allowed to watch the shows. She had to say something to cover up her lies.
Sorry, but Mady is obnoxious, just like her mother. Kate calls it "sassy." She seems proud that Mady takes after her.
Kate seemed like she was working hard to keep Alexis from having a meltdown. The show must go on.
The boys couch interview was filmed February 15th on President's Day. So the kids have to work on their days off from school.
Ew, Kate's lipstick was cruddy in the couch interviews. Blech.

They are honest all right. The girls can do and say what they want and the boys have to take it and never say anything. This is honestly what Kate demonstrates for them.

But then....even when the picture of the Target filming was released, they were already messing around with air dates. They may have signed up too soon and they're stuck with her.

This is very interesting, isn't it? My guess is they'd catch K8 telling a LOT of lies, and who knows where that might lead. Just imagine if they were to start pointing out to a therapist or a judge the discrepancies between what she says on the couch or in her interviews and what's really gone on.

It is overwhelmingly critical, and the thing is, it's not just people hating on Kate, as usual.
There is real concern, dismay and disgust concerning the children.
What a terrible decision to air this episode with Collin, at the end of the season. No one is fooled, and in fact, Kate's only response on Twitter regarding Collin was that was the last they were all together.
Paraphrasing, of course, but it was evident that at this point, Collin has been gone for around 8 months. There was not one encouraging notion that he is scheduled or even expected to return.
How is this not yet another TLC scandal?

You can walk into any Best Buy and walk out an hour later with a fully loaded computer. If you call ahead with your specs, then you're in and out in 5 minutes.

Kate has alluded, MANY times, that she can't afford computers for each kid, nor phones and an encompassing phone plan.

Ugh one thing that annoyed me to no end: Kate downplaying the cupcake incident. Claiming Aaden laughs about not getting the cupcake that day. Trying to tell us it wasn't a big deal that she played favourites that day and wouldn't allow the boys their cupcakes even though it's all they talked about all day and the clearly ate more than some girls(like Hannah). Then they showed us the boys laughing on the couch and Aaden says it's funny but not once do he or his siblings use the word cupcake. Maybe a stretch but I'm not sure the boys weren't talking about something else and production cut that in.

As far as the computer situation, there is absolutely no excuse for her delay in getting the boy's computer in time for school. You order online and it's delivered in a few days. And there are computers at Target, her store of choice. Even at Costco where she shops. And they have a house full of iPads and you can print from them. I cannot figure out her excuse at all. She has a computer so she should have let the boys use hers temporarily.
Too bad TLC is making money off her show overseas. Maybe another reason why they keep bringing her back. People over there don't have the full background.

They DID film all weekend. They were spotted shopping at Costco on Jan. 30, the day before they filmed the Target segment.
The Costco footage was used in their 10 year anniversary episode.

The Target footage in last night's episode was filmed Jan. 31, 2016.
They were also spotted filming at Target on Sep.24, 2016. I don't recall seeing that aired in any of the episodes, but I think they were probably filmed there as part of the Sweet 16 episode, but it wasn't used in the aired episode.

Everyone keeps saying the ratings are so bad TLC will have to stop filming. I don't agree. While her ratings are abysmal, she is a freak show and that is what TLC is all about. Remember the guy who wanted to have sex with his car? Any station that would put that kind of trash on will certainly keep Kate on. That is, until her revenue from advertisers drops. At this point, I just don't care anymore. That family is so screwed up it can't be fixed. So, have fun fans, because the only way you can be a fan of this mess is to be just like her. I'll be back to check in on you girls from time to time but for now I'm out.
How did this series go from "oh, the kids are just playing and running in and out of camera range," to making a game show about the series, complete with TLC-funded set decorations?
What was the story editor smoking? On the surface, it might have sounded like a cute idea. But this wasn't the cast of "Happy Days" reflecting on their favorite past episodes. These are actual children, and those were actual events they lived through -- or, in some cases, suffered through.
