That analogy doesn't work for me. In that case there were facts as one by one of the victims came forward with the same story. With Collin, we don't have the facts. We don't know if he was sent away, if he was removed from that home and Kate protested, we don't know if his issues involved violence (either to an adult or siblings), or if his behavior was such that he tried to harm himself. ----------------
But we do know that he was abused. We read it in Kate's journal. We saw how she treated him on the show.
She has been his mother since he was born. She's been abusive to him and exploiting him since he was a baby.
My issues that child has are due to Kate. Even if his underlying issues are genetic, I'm convinced it is how Kate treated him that led to the problems he has today. There's no way the abuse hasn't affected him.
Sure we don't know the details, but we do know he was abused.
I've never come across an online (or real life) conversation asking about what reality shows or TLC shows to watch or recommend. It's just not on radars out there. People are VERY excited to see and recommend Netflix and Hulu shows, and to discuss what they're streaming or what movie they've seen. Reality shows where you follow fauxlebs around just aren't that popular. It's like Duck Dynasty, who? That show was everywhere, but they are yesterday's news. Even when Kate appears on tv, people are like, "Is she STILL around?"

By design and as a matter of fact, the primary parent will shoulder the majority of the parenting, unless there's some arrangement whereby the custody is truly 50/50, and there are probably more downsides to that with the kids not being truly settled in one place. Most moms with primary custody don't turn the situation around to complain all the damn time and accuse the father of not being there. If you agreed to the damn arrangement, or pretty much insisted on it, then shut up! If you feel put upon and overwhelmed, do something about it. I can't imagine Jon would say no to assuming more visitation.

It became, in effect, a film set. And I wouldn't be surprised if they were aware of the marital problems at this point---the garage apartment for Jon would have been another draw. He could still pretend to be the Happily Married Dad of 8.
Tucker's Mom (#6), what makes TFW's complaining about Jon particularly awful is that she does it to the world. We're not talking about some mom dishing to her friends at yoga class, or over lunch. It's so disrespectful to her children. He will be their father FOREVER. And it's just plain low class. And she has been complaining for years about doing it all alone, when there is so much out there to refute that. We know darn well about her housekeepers, nannies, assistants, Steve, plus her income from TLC and People magazine. So making herself out to be a victim is so disingenuous, and must tick off the real single moms out there who are doing it alone.
But if you put them on buns (rolls), don't they then become burgers, or are they still salmon cakes on rolls? ***** It depends on if you put it into a bread maker and slice it-or- if you freeze it, and THEN slice it.

But if Kate can get a People cover to expose Collin's issues to the world, maybe she can one day get one to expose Kate's abuse to the world.

Over the years, she's understood that she needs to sell more and more pieces of her life and her children's lives, in order to stay in the headlines. Talk about her divorce? Sure. Reveal intimate details about the children's reaction and relationship with Jon? Sure. Pose nearly naked on the cover? Yes, please! Sell Collin's story after she sent him away and pose the remaining kids on the cover? Sure.
I think the only reason Kate won't discuss more about Collin now is that the truth is NOT pretty. I don't think he's in some homey, bucolic, highly-therapeutc setting where his every need is being individually addressed through cutting-edge modalities so that he'll one day thrive and supersede every expectation. I think he's either being fostered or is in a group home for boys.
Kate will be able to control those kids until they move out. Even if they get their money at 18, she will control them because they live in her house.
I hope they realize they are the ones in control. No filming, no more money or fame for mommy dearest.

Now it could have only been in the event either one or both died. I remember K8 arguing with Jon that 30 was a good age for the kids to get their money unless however, if they went to graduated from college then they got the money at 25. Yes, it was in the Gosselins Go West. Remember TFW looked liked she had been drinking at the corral? IIRC. The will talk was awful. Why would you want your child to have to wait on money that they earned? Some might not want to go to a traditional college.
Some might want to go to art school, culinary school which is prestigious and very respectable these days. Seemed like to me she wanted to keep her grubby little hands on it as long on it as she possibly could.

Did she have Steve on it somehow and Jon had to go to court and get him taken off of it? I remember talking about it. This is just awful how this is. Steve clearly crossed the line in a employee/client relationship, not on,y with this, but many other things.
His boss should of replaced him in the beginning by firing him.

Oh- I checked in Multiple Blessings ( yes, I do own it from my 'duped' days :( ... ) about the names. Kate says they always liked the names Alexis and Aaden way before the pregnancy although Jon wanted the Aiden spelling; Leah was named for a little adopted girl at their church who looked like a China Doll; she just came up with Hannah, Mady suggested Collin for a name at age 3, ok!; Kate liked Joey but Jon felt it was too Italian-sounding so they compromised on Joel.
I was thinking of going through every J&K+8 and every K+8 episode ever made, with the information I have now about what was happening during each episode in real life(eg during the Hawaii vow renewal the parents were already separated) but I don't think I can. I just saw that music video(anyone remember it?) Hugs and Kisses and it was so heartbreaking...Remember?

This video came out on the brink of J and K's marriage distruction, it was made to sell the product. While it was all falling apart, TLC and Kate and Jon were selling the perfect family image and what's worse, they were selling it to their kids too, telling them mommy and daddy will be together forever. I will always give Jon credit for stepping back and fixing some of his mistakes, no matter how much I may point out he later made other mistakes that were bigger. I'm willing to bet Kate sees nothing wrong about it all, down to the music video. I bet she never will.

I drove home from work from Pottstown to Central Chesco yesterday around 11 pm. Both areas had about 1-2 inches. The roads were fine during the day but some icy spots that late with refreezing. Nothing compared to the three feet or so we got last year in one day.
The E town house also had a mortgage still on it and a sizable lien from the sewer department I believe. It sold for less than the asking price and they barely broke even. It was in the public records when she refinanced the current house. She is going to be very lonely 5 years from now all alone in that house unless that is her goal...."mine all mine as far as the eye can see".

Want another blast from the past, go read that interview that some poor journalist, Kelly DiNardo, tried to do with Jon and Kate after their vow renewal in Hawaii. I think the timing of the interview and subject matter was Valentine's Day, and how they keep the romance going with 8 kids yada yada. Kate was a complete bitch. She did not want to talk about herself and Jon, about the vow renewals and mostly about how she and Jon keep their marriage afloat and romance alive. It was a disaster and couldn't even be completed. In fact, Kate's manager/TLC babysitter was on the conference call when Kate started to get testy and speak over Jon repeatedly. I think Kate summed it up, "We're not that couple", when asked how they keep the romance alive. End of interview.

I'm not sure who commented on my post and I'm too lazy to go back and check, but here's my reply.
You are correct. I don't know that Kate sent him away. I don't know if a physician said send him away.
What I do know. No reputable physician would send a child away as a first, second, or even third option. A reputable and ethical physician tries every avenue available to them. Placing a child outside the home (of both the mother and father) is the very last option for any normal parent or good physician.
We've seen this kid for 10 years on film. He certainly didn't act out any more than his siblings as far as I saw or heard. They are all in a huge rivalry caused by their narcissistic mother, disrespectful, ungrateful, mouthy, hitting, etc. Some of them have figured out the program and suck up to her. Some remain neutral and try not to piss her off. Some completely defy her. I put Collin in that last category and think good for him! And think maybe if he'd been allowed to move out of that home into the home of some family member with less children and less mental problems, maybe he could have thrived without having the onus of this hanging over him for the rest of his life.
Foxy (#24), count me as one of the people who thinks TFW won't be lonely at all. If there wasn't a TV show in the equation, she would be thrilled to be alone. She can't wait for those kids to be gone. She talks about motherhood like it's a chore. It's work, it's stressful, it's costly, it's overwhelming, and on and on.
When the G kids start having kids of their own, she may want the babies to come visit so she can fuss over them, and she will have something to brag about. And I still think at least one of those kids will leave and never come back.

I'm beginning to think Collin will be the one who will never be back. In her published letter to him years ago, she referred to him as being difficult to rein in because of his rebellious streak in challenging her authority.
She now claims he is in a special "school" for his special needs. Is it any wonder, when just after the divorce which tore the family apart, she published a book spelling out her difficulties with him (in particular), he has "special" needs. She is supposed to be a nurse and should have realized years ago how close he was to his father and what the divorce was doing to him and the other children.
From what I can tell, she was more interested in granting pity interviews, breaking out in hives during the Katie Couric show, than she was in the emotional welfare of the children.
My heart truly aches for Collin because of the way she has abused him physically and by neglect.

The long-term effects on the kids who are estranged from Jon will be impacting them for the rest of their lives unless they heal the rift with Jon and/or undergo intensive therapy to understand how and why things started to unravel. Kate is only concerned with Kate. It benefits Kate to have her children choose her, and reject Jon. It feels good to her and she does not care about the profound long-term damage it will cause them. He claims he is a "virtuous pedophile." He claims that back in the 1950s ALL men wanted six-year-old girls. It reminded me of the Bill Banketship (sp) issue, and how perversion is around. Now, they are trying to make it "normal."

CC, I am sure it was before they were told they had to put part of the shows money into trust for the kids. And it probably was J&K life insurance but the bottom line is how Kate kept insisting that the kids wait. Yes, I know a 18 year typically would not make the best decision regarding money but had something happened to J or K how would those children have paid for college education? It was early on so they hadn't made much money from the show. Kate just p*sses me off with everything she does. She was blessed to have 8 healthy children 6 of which could have had major medical issues and this is how she treats them! I had fertility issues and after several rounds of meds conceived twice and I am so thankful for my children. I would give my life for my kids as any mother would.

TLC should of bought the mansion with the 23 acres outright and put the title in a trust with all of the kids names so they could own it.
The reason why is because TLC turned that beautiful home into a tv studio. Track lighting everywhere. The were making millions even before the mansion was even thought of!
They should be given a percentage of THEIR money at 18 and so much per year after and then the rest at 25.
I wonder if TFW will find an excuse not to tweet Tuesday night, as it might be hard to ignore a ton of questions about C's appearance. Or is she comfortable enough letting the fans think what they want and not elaborating further?
Unless they find a way to make him appear absent (surely the couch interviews will be only two boys), you know people are going to be asking. I hope they do so, in droves. She already mentioned during one of her earlier tweet parties that the episodes are out of filming order. I am thinking they may have cut down on the "game night" footage and thrown a bunch of random stuff in there to keep everyone really confused.

Oh that's right, the farther north and west the less snow because it was a noreaster. The shore got more.
I was just remembering the storm when TLC was there, and the all made the igloo. We suspected something was up when TFW said they were playing in the snow all day. She's admitted to not being an "outdoor girl."
And that's when I think, sadly, some of the kids may sincerely want the show to continue because that's the only way they have any fun. We know fun can be had with little to no money, but TFW isn't that type of parent -- one with a joyful spirit who can find creative ways to engage and entertain her kids. At least when there's a TLC script, there are activities planned for the kids. Does anyone think having crafts for the tups during the twins' Sweet 16 was TFW's idea? Or that elaborate scavenger hunt?

I guess the question should be: Will there be anything left in their trust funds when they reach maturity. Knowing what we know about her, I wonder if she has been dipping into the funds to cover their day-to-day living expenses. It's bad enough the children have been supporting her lifestyle all their lives, but to find out at maturity they have also been funding their own expenses as children, that will be pretty hard to take.

Mady, forcing her to go, roughing her up, hurting her arm because she didn't want to pose for the publicity picture by the creek. It was so bad that the Palins people wanted to report TFW. When word got back to TLC, execs hopped on a private jet to fix it. Then it was decided that they would just leave.
Kate was so jealous of the tups having such a good time with Sarah's father and they were just in Heaven with him and the were just blossoming in front of your eyes. Hi all. It's been sad around here the last few days. I lost my little Sugarbear Saturday. I had to put him down because he was hit by a car the day before. My niece was going out the door and he escaped. It was something that had happened a lot. I just couldn't get people to be major careful when it came to opening the door. I don't blame her though, accidents happen and she is taking it hard enough as it is. It was hard for everyone to remember to do, due to the fact that my elderly mother needs to have an open way to enter our kitchen where the outside door is.
I have a favor to ask. Could someone please post the poem or link to it, of the rainbow bridge? I would be so grateful.
Thank you ahead of time and please remember us in your prayers. We just put mom in hospice and my health is pretty bad as well. It does make it hard to take care of mom but I have always said to my family, "as long as I am able, I will take care of her." After all, she is mom. Literally still have to have to have a puppy sitter when i go brush my teeth at night or Nanuq has my room dismantled in five minutes! ======= I guess the puppies aren't that well trained yet. At a little over 8 1/2 month old the puppies should have better self control by now. I don't let my puppy have the "whole house" if we're going to be gone for a long period of time but I can leave him for an hour or so and he's just fine (and he's the same age as her puppies). Of course we did real training with ours and not just "filler for an episode" training. TFW really does get on my nerves when she tries to portray herself as the perfect dog mom.

Good heavens. The fakery in this show just beggars belief. I just watched "Dirty Dogs." Kate claims, on the couch, that Nanuq was "black" from dirt (meanwhile, the scene starts out with MAK being dirty, but he just disappears like he never existed---yeah, kind of like his life probably is). Then you see Nanuq, doesn't look like there's a spot of dirt on her, she has a couple of damp patches, but that's it. So K8 decides to treat herself (and the audience) to a crying meltdown, "Go get her crate and bring it out here (sob), she'll have to sleep outside tonight (sob), I can't have her in my house like this." Meanwhile, the dog is perfectly CLEAN. You have to see it to believe it---I mean, who do they think they're fooling with this lameness?
"Dirty Dogs". Oh dear lawd! They think THAT'S a dirty dog? HAAAAAAA! I can not believe Kate freaked out so much that her answer was to stick the dog in a crate, outside, FOR THE NIGHT. Sorry, when you have multiple, big dogs who love to play outside, you're not going to have a pristine house all the time. We wipe paws and dry the dogs off, and cover furniture when we've got dirty dogs. We also have a large mud room and I can't believe there isn't a space in Kate's enormous house that you can isolate the dogs to for awhile. You do the best you can! We've had to totally hose dogs down, nose to tail whether it's on our deck in the summer, or whether it's stripping down to our unnawears and taking a dog into the shower in the winter! Sometimes the dogs make a mess in the house because we can't clean them up right away. It's not great, but it happens and you deal with it.
Of course we see the kids affected by Kate's meltdowns, but you could REALLY see Nanuq tensing up, and that's something you have to check yourself about. Dogs can internalize that and become nervous dogs and it's hard to reverse that damage.

There must be a helper around on the regular to keep them from bringing dirt into the house. She's fussing over a dirty dog? Yes, we do have mud here right now due to sloppy weather and some melting snow. There are some dirty paws coming into my house, but I just clean them up with warm water a sponge and a towel. I do know that in the summer the dogs who decide to cool off in the pool (when I'm not watching) absolutely love to roll in the mulch beds when they get out. They do know how to use the built-in steps in the pool. Little pieces of wood chips on a long-haired dog is worse than mud. Kate would freak out if her dogs dragged that into the house. In her defense, I can see that she wouldn't want them outside in a pool or doggie wading pool. Been there, done that. Not fun.

Some breeds love it! Getting dirty is part of being a dog. They love to smear themselves with poop, or on bugs as a disguise, so that whatever they are "hunting" doesn't catch their doggie scent.
If you're reading this Katie, just take each dog, one at a time, into the shower- hose them down, shampoo the dogs well, rinse them well, and towel dry them well. Then go back into the shower,and clean/disinfect the shower stall, and VOILA! Presto chango, you are finished. If the dogs still stink, you put them in your car, and drive them to their groomer (that's probably what you do all the time anyway).
What the hell. Get over yourself, Kate. So what. Shizz happens (literally). Deal with it.

I hate to be in the camera person's shoes. I would have daily migraines, or a case of the trots every time she opens her mouth to whine, scream, cry, complain etc...
A person who actually loves dogs does not freak out like you all are describing. (Although anyone has my permission to cry if the skunk story happens to you.) Kate has a cleaning lady, a groomer who picks up the dog at the house and two little boys who orobably take care of the dogs. Dogs get dirty, guaranteed. If you love dogs you accept this. A sigh, some frustration at the time it will take to clean up, ok. But the breakdown shows she knows nothing about dogs and doesn't want them. Just like when your kids were toddlers, Kate, your dog will not learn the lesson you want her to learn from this.
Maybe TFW will write a version of I Just Want You To Know to her dogs. She can tell them that she loves them, but that they challenge her authority every day by getting dirty.

I can't see her handling 3 large dogs for their whole lives. Least of all when they don't behave. Shoka got training when he was sent away or he wouldn't be as good as he is. She is too lazy to train the new ones properly even with consistent help from a trainer. If she can't teach her kids not to be so mean and snotty how does she think she will train dogs who don't understand what she says.

I took my paw on vacation with me and on the day we had to leave, it was raining(it was a summer rain, it was quite warm outside). My doggie loves running in the rain so I let her do her thing: about 15 minutes of running arround, getting soaking wet and a bit muddy. I just wiped her a bit and then *gasp* put her in the clean car, on her car blanket and left. I am a true hero, I tell ya! It's what most pet owners do but Jesus, can you imagine Kate waiting around for the dog to have fun and then put him/her in her car??? She thinks she's being reasonable but really, she is so exagerated. Why have a dog(or THREE) if you're not willing to accept there will be messes and that dogs need to be aloud to have messy fun sometimes too and they needn't be PUNISHED for having had fun and having gotten dirty. Cannot believe she couldn't just clean the dog a bit and leave them in a separate room or something. She can swear she's a dog lover up and down, it's incidents like this that make me believe she is lying.

If you watch the clip, there is no way the dog in question qualifies as "black" with mud. At the beginning of the scene, they show Mak with what looks like some dirt on his coat (he's partially covered by a towel, IIRC). I am wondering if in staging this (because you know it had to be "set up"), they forgot which was the dirty dog and just went with whichever was to hand.
So I'm guessing Collin will be seen tonight because the show was filmed before he was banished? Will the idiots believe he is back home? You bet. It's like they think the show is live!

Ingrid (#132), TFW wanted babies, not kids, and certainly not teenagers. And she wanted puppies, not full-grown dogs. But in a few short months, she'll have a houseful of both. And if she's stuck with both without a TLC paycheck to ease the pain, she will not be a happy woman. Not wishing this on her, but a breakdown would not surprise me.
I wonder if, in her heart of hearts (yeah, I know, I know...), there are days TFW regrets kicking Jon to the curb. Not because she cares about him -- she clearly hates him with the heat of a thousand suns. But I bet she misses having someone else around to help her physically and emotionally with all she has to deal with in a day. This has all been thought out. Cops DETAIN and call DCFS. DCFS then comes and DETAINS the kid in protective custody. DCFS then files a petition under WIC 300(b)(2) commercially sexually exploited minors. Within two days they go to "dream" court (DEDICATION TO RESTORATION THROUGH EMPOWERMENT, ADVOCACY AND MENTORING), where all the judges and lawyers are specialized in dealing with this population and the services are vast and intensive. We're capturing hundreds of these kids. There is more than one way to lawfully detain a child other than jail. Another is protective custody.
The novel idea is that we stop blaming minor children who cannot consent to being exploited by adults. And that services, not jail time, might just stop the cycle. Oh they're still detained and pulled off the street, they are simply being funneled to PROTECTIVE services, an important fact the media has apparently left out. By the way, a minor doesn't have to consent to protective custody. If the judge wants to take jurisdiction over him or her, she can, regardless how the child feels, and has every power under the law to issue a warrant if the child flees.

When you're 7, your mom is still a super hero. She might cry if she was in pain when she broke her leg, or if she was sad when Grandma died, or if she was touched when you gave her a sweet birthday gift. Funny, her actions convey the opposite- she easily becomes overwhelmed and cries like a baby at the drop of the hat.

It would make more sense to me if she just bursts out laughing at the end of each and every comment that she makes. At least that would prove that she is knowingly b.s.-ing.
I don't know why anyone would pick up a large dog unless they absolutely had to. Our larger dog is 60# and I've never picked her up. No reason to yet. She's young and can jump onto the couch and bed, and can jump into the car. We have steps and ramps from having older dogs and when I needed to, I did lift our Beardie, but that was really hard. When a dog is that big, you have to be VERY strong to lift them safely, and a small woman like Kate can't do that. Her boys are big enough to help, so I don't get why she needs to think she's going to be able to, or need to, lift a huge GSD by herself.
Maybe TFW is also hoping this dog conversation will extend into her Twitter party tonight (if she has one), to deflect from the inevitable "Is C back home?" chatter.
If she wanted to lift or carry a dog around, she should have gotten a lap dog. She is beyond ridiculous lifting up such a big dog. Something is not right with her. I cannot inpmagine the dog even likes being picked up. Bizarre.
She is esentially telling a 7 year old to cry himself to sleep. Who does that? Who doesn't explain to their 7 year old that expressing emotion is healthy and you shouldn't feel like you have to hide it? How did the 7 year old even learn that he needs to hide his emotions? Where did that come from?
Speaking of hiding, now I'm remembering when Joel was 4, freshly potty train and sick with the flu and had an accident. He was probably embarrassed or who knows, maybe scared of Kate? and he hid the wet underwear and put on new one. Kate found out and punished him. She punished a 4 year old for being embarrassed about his accident and put the whole thing on film. And now I remember that Hannah's potty accident was off camera(they were in the process of filming an episode-Christmas one maybe?-so I can only assume Kate requested Hannah not be filmed). Why wasn't her son worth the same as her daughter? Which reminds me of how she talked about Collin's anger issues and didn't even mention Alexis, as if she hadn't been kicked out of k too.
I could go on and on. One horrible thing leads to another. Collin may have had some challenges from birth but looking back on the stuff that was on film alone, I can't be convinced his uprbringing wasn't a major contributor to how bad things are now.
When we first got our puppy I'd pick him up all the time for hugs and cuddles. He's 8 1/2 months old now and 50 pounds and built like a tank (English Bulldog) so I don't pick him up any more. He can jump up on the couch or chair (when I'm in it because he thinks he's a lap dog) so there's no need to lift him. He can't jump in to the car but we tell him "paws up" and he puts his front paws in and we just have to lift his rear end up while he's got his weight on the front. I have a ramp but we've got to teach him to use it. She's nuts wanting to lift Nookie Pookie. The dog is not going to feel safe/secure when being lifted and is going to wiggle and someone is going to get hurt.
Turn out the lights said... 127 She says something at the end (while crying) 'I mean thank you for taking them out but ...' and rants about smelling like dog and having to serve food. She's such a bitch. It's exhausting-ish to be around people like her. I feel sorry for the kids.
She has burdened those children from Day One that they must film or lose their home, attend (horrors) a public school, have vacations, or get nice presents for birthdays and Xmas. No wonder the kids willingly but also grudgingly film. I also get the impression Mady has been specifically groomed to be the golden child, the family's savior for future filming because she has the personality most like her mother. Mady enjoys the attention but in the talent arena, she is lacking and her attitude will kill any opportunities she may have had. Nobody will hire her. But Kate continues to brag about her like she is amazing (really, IMO, Kate sees herself in Mady).

It should be that way and for most kids I think it is that way, but I don't think TFW has ever been a super hero for her kids. They see her melting down over the most ridiculous things like the dog being dirty or she can't figure out how to paddle a kayak and I think they've always had to hide their feelings. I don't think they've ever had the freedom to be vulnerable with her.
She's never been a soft or comforting spot for them to land when they're hurting or fearful. Even when they were toddlers she didn't offer them a soft lap with warm hugs. They were the ones who were always rubbing her back or feet and placating her rather than the other way around. The kids have been parenting, calming, and comforting her for many years.
Thank you all for the links, kind words and prayers for our loss. His brother is pretty sad. We got them the same day after my other little chihuahua Shadow was hit by a car. I just can't get my family to listen. Sugarbear and his brother Buddy are a terrier/chihuahua mix from the same litter. I always said that Sugarbear got the terrier and Buddy got the chihuahua because he is a short hair. I sure miss my little guy so much already.

If indeed Kate said filming is on a break, that's encouraging to me. Networks have their filming schedules and budgets approved way ahead of time. If they were going to film this past holidays or Spring break, I think they'd know. Heck, they'd have the story boards for summer cranked up by now.

Totally OT...I just read that Steven McDonald, a NYC policeman who was shot more than 30 years ago in the line of duty, has died at 59. He was paralyzed from the neck down, unable to breathe on his own, but spent the almost 30 years after that tragedy trying to help and inspire others. He even traveled to war-torn countries to spread his message. McDonald not only forgave the man who shot him, but corresponded with him while he was in jail. McDonald's son Conor, born a few months after the shooting, is now a sergeant.

Commercial break or filming break, it matters not because the production schedule is done and if she has to nudge TLC with a reminder of just how much she is loved by her fans, I read that as she has not been scheduled.

That analogy doesn't work for me. In that case there were facts as one by one of the victims came forward with the same story. With Collin, we don't have the facts. We don't know if he was sent away, if he was removed from that home and Kate protested, we don't know if his issues involved violence (either to an adult or siblings), or if his behavior was such that he tried to harm himself.

But we do know that he was abused. We read it in Kate's journal. We saw how she treated him on the show.
She has been his mother since he was born. She's been abusive to him and exploiting him since he was a baby.
My issues that child has are due to Kate. Even if his underlying issues are genetic, I'm convinced it is how Kate treated him that led to the problems he has today. There's no way the abuse hasn't affected him.
Sure we don't know the details, but we do know he was abused.
I've never come across an online (or real life) conversation asking about what reality shows or TLC shows to watch or recommend.
It's just not on radars out there.
People are VERY excited to see and recommend Netflix and Hulu shows, and to discuss what they're streaming or what movie they've seen.
Reality shows where you follow fauxlebs around just aren't that popular.
It's like Duck Dynasty, who? That show was everywhere, but they are yesterday's news. Even when Kate appears on tv, people are like, "Is she STILL around?"

I cannot imagine any long-term treatment for Collin where Jon, the father, is not a part of it. I would think it would be very important for both parents to have an integral part in his therapy. Collin is only 12 so he has many years ahead as a minor and under the care of his parents.

To the best of my knowledge, this is what most divorces look like. Kids live with primary parent, and visit with other parent every other weekend, weeknights if possible, vacation time and holidays.
By design and as a matter of fact, the primary parent will shoulder the majority of the parenting, unless there's some arrangement whereby the custody is truly 50/50, and there are probably more downsides to that with the kids not being truly settled in one place.
Most moms with primary custody don't turn the situation around to complain all the damn time and accuse the father of not being there.
If you agreed to the damn arrangement, or pretty much insisted on it, then shut up! If you feel put upon and overwhelmed, do something about it.
I can't imagine Jon would say no to assuming more visitation.

I question this also, just because it is well known that the house they were selling sat on the market for quite a while (more than a year, I think) before it sold. It's possible (even likely) that TLC advanced them the money in anticipation of the sale, but we'll never know one way or the other. TLC had much to gain from moving them to the compound. It became, in effect, a film set. And I wouldn't be surprised if they were aware of the marital problems at this point---the garage apartment for Jon would have been another draw. He could still pretend to be the Happily Married Dad of 8.
Tucker's Mom (#6), what makes TFW's complaining about Jon particularly awful is that she does it to the world. We're not talking about some mom dishing to her friends at yoga class, or over lunch. It's so disrespectful to her children. He will be their father FOREVER. And it's just plain low class. And she has been complaining for years about doing it all alone, when there is so much out there to refute that. Kate has kept upping the ante in order to stay in People's rolodex, as it were. Over the years, she's understood that she needs to sell more and more pieces of her life and her children's lives, in order to stay in the headlines.

Pose nearly naked on the cover? Yes, please!
Sell Collin's story after she sent him away and pose the remaining kids on the cover? Sure.
I think the only reason Kate won't discuss more about Collin now is that the truth is NOT pretty.
I don't think he's in some homey, bucolic, highly-therapeutc setting where his every need is being individually addressed through cutting-edge modalities so that he'll one day thrive and supersede every expectation.

Now it could have only been in the event either one or both died. I remember K8 arguing with Jon that 30 was a good age for the kids to get their money unless however, if they went to graduated from college then they got the money at 25.

Yes, it was in the Gosselins Go West. Remember TFW looked liked she had been drinking at the corral? IIRC. The will talk was awful. Why would you want your child to have to wait on money that they earned?
Some might not want to go to a traditional college.
Some might want to go to art school, culinary school which is prestigious and very respectable these days. Seemed like to me she wanted to keep her grubby little hands on it as long on it as she possibly could.

Did she have Steve on it somehow and Jon had to go to court and get him taken off of it? I remember talking about it. This is just awful how this is. Steve clearly crossed the line in a employee/client relationship, not on,y with this, but many other things.
His boss should of replaced him in the beginning by firing him.

Oh- I checked in Multiple Blessings ( yes, I do own it from my 'duped' days :( ... ) about the names. Kate says they always liked the names Alexis and Aaden way before the pregnancy although Jon wanted the Aiden spelling; Leah was named for a little adopted girl at their church who looked like a China Doll; she just came up with Hannah, Mady suggested Collin for a name at age 3, ok!; Kate liked Joey but Jon felt it was too Italian-sounding so they compromised on Joel.
I was thinking of going through every J&K+8 and every K+8 episode ever made, with the information I have now about what was happening during each episode in real life(eg during the Hawaii vow renewal the parents were already separated) but I don't think I can. I just saw that music video(anyone remember it?) Hugs and Kisses and it was so heartbreaking...Remember?

This video came out on the brink of J and K's marriage distruction, it was made to sell the product. While it was all falling apart, TLC and Kate and Jon were selling the perfect family image and what's worse, they were selling it to their kids too, telling them mommy and daddy will be together forever. I will always give Jon credit for stepping back and fixing some of his mistakes, no matter how much I may point out he later made other mistakes that were bigger. I'm willing to bet Kate sees nothing wrong about it all, down to the music video. I bet she never will.

If I'm remembering correctly, the E-town home finally sold for somewhere around $250,000, maybe a few dollars more. It was on the market for some time and they didn't get the selling price that they had been anticipating. I don't have time to look it up right now.

I drove home from work from Pottstown to Central Chesco yesterday around 11 pm. Both areas had about 1-2 inches. The roads were fine during the day but some icy spots that late with refreezing. Nothing compared to the three feet or so we got last year in one day.
The E town house also had a mortgage still on it and a sizable lien from the sewer department I believe. It sold for less than the asking price and they barely broke even. It was in the public records when she refinanced the current house. She is going to be very lonely 5 years from now all alone in that house unless that is her goal...."mine all mine as far as the eye can see".

I think the timing of the interview and subject matter was Valentine's Day, and how they keep the romance going with 8 kids yada yada.
Kate was a complete bitch. She did not want to talk about herself and Jon, about the vow renewals and mostly about how she and Jon keep their marriage afloat and romance alive.
It was a disaster and couldn't even be completed. In fact, Kate's manager/TLC babysitter was on the conference call when Kate started to get testy and speak over Jon repeatedly.
I think Kate summed it up, "We're not that couple", when asked how they keep the romance alive.

You are correct. I don't know that Kate sent him away. I don't know if a physician said send him away.
What I do know. No reputable physician would send a child away as a first, second, or even third option. A reputable and ethical physician tries every avenue available to them. Placing a child outside the home (of both the mother and father) is the very last option for any normal parent or good physician.

We've seen this kid for 10 years on film. He certainly didn't act out any more than his siblings as far as I saw or heard. They are all in a huge rivalry caused by their narcissistic mother, disrespectful, ungrateful, mouthy, hitting, etc. Some of them have figured out the program and suck up to her. Some remain neutral and try not to piss her off. Some completely defy her. I put Collin in that last category and think good for him! And think maybe if he'd been allowed to move out of that home into the home of some family member with less children and less mental problems, maybe he could have thrived without having the onus of this hanging over him for the rest of his life.

Foxy (#24), count me as one of the people who thinks TFW won't be lonely at all. If there wasn't a TV show in the equation,
she would be thrilled to be alone. She can't wait for those kids to be gone. She talks about motherhood like it's a chore. It's work, it's stressful, it's costly, it's overwhelming, and on and on.
When the G kids start having kids of their own, she may want the babies to come visit
so she can fuss over them, and she will have something to brag about. And I still think at least one of those kids will leave and never come back.

I'm beginning to think Collin will be the one who will never be back. In her published letter to him years ago, she referred to him as being difficult to rein in because of his rebellious streak in challenging her authority.
She now claims he is in a special "school" for his special needs. Is it any wonder, when just after the divorce which tore the family apart, she published a book spelling out her difficulties with him (in particular), he has "special" needs. She is supposed to be a nurse and should have realized years ago how close he was to his father and what the divorce was doing to him and the other children.
From what I can tell, she was more interested in granting pity interviews, breaking out in hives during the Katie Couric show, than she was in the emotional welfare of the children.
My heart truly aches for Collin because of the way she has abused him physically and by neglect.

Kate and any parent should understand the impact of divorce when a child pulls away from the other parent, for whatever reason.
The long-term effects on the kids who are estranged from Jon will be impacting them for the rest of their lives unless they heal the rift with Jon and/or undergo intensive therapy to understand how and why things started to unravel.
Kate is only concerned with Kate. It benefits Kate to have her children choose her, and reject Jon. It feels good to her and she does not care about the profound long-term damage it will cause them.
In fact, she's pretty damn proud of herself for being so supportive of their choosing not to see him.
It's like you want to scream at the tv, "You're not a great and supportive mother for telling them it's OK to not see their father for 2 years!"

I am sure it was before they were told they had to put part of the shows money into trust for the kids. And it probably was J&K life insurance but the bottom line is how Kate kept insisting that the kids wait. Yes, I know a 18 year typically would not make the best decision regarding money but had something happened to J or K how would those children have paid for college education? It was early on so they hadn't made much money from the show. Kate just p*sses me off with everything she does.
She was blessed to have 8 healthy children 6 of which could have had major medical issues and this is how she treats them! I had fertility issues and after several rounds of meds conceived twice and I am so thankful for my children. I would give my life for my kids as any mother would.
I was at my parents' house in Berks on Fri night when it snowed. It snowed about an inch or a little more. I did not wake up early but when I did the roads were fine. I drove back to Montgomery County around 3pm and roads were fine. My dad talked to neighbors and the snow line was right around where we were. There might not have been any snow at all at Kate's house. There wasn't any in Robesonia or Womelsdorf from what I heard. The sheeple are wacked.

TLC should of bought the mansion with the 23 acres outright and put the title in a trust with all of the kids names so they could own it.
The reason why is because TLC turned that beautiful home into a tv studio. Track lighting everywhere. The were making millions even before the mansion was even thought of!

She already mentioned during one of her earlier tweet parties that the episodes are out of filming order. Oh that's right, the farther north and west the less snow because it was a noreaster. The shore got more.
I was just remembering the storm when TLC was there, and the all made the igloo. We suspected something was up when TFW said they were playing in the snow all day.

And that's when I think, sadly, some of the kids may sincerely want the show to continue because that's the only way they have any fun. We know fun can be had with little to no money, but TFW isn't that type of parent -- one with a joyful spirit who can find creative ways to engage and entertain her kids. At least when there's a TLC script, there are activities planned for the kids.

Hi all. It's been sad around here the last few days. I lost my little Sugarbear Saturday. I had to put him down because he was hit by a car the day before. My niece was going out the door and he escaped. It was something that had happened a lot. I just couldn't get people to be major careful when it came to opening the door. I don't blame her though, accidents happen and she is taking it hard enough as it is. It was hard for everyone to remember to do, due to the fact that my elderly mother needs to have an open way to enter our kitchen where the outside door is.
I have a favor to ask. Could someone please post the poem or link to it, of the rainbow bridge? I would be so grateful.
Thank you ahead of time and please remember us in your prayers. We just put mom in hospice and my health is pretty bad as well. It does make it hard to take care of mom but I have always said to my family, "as long as I am able, I will take care of her." After all, she is mom. I think you're onto something and I had a similar take. I think the patriarchal nature of the Palins' family really rubs Kate the wrong way.
She rejects it entirely. She rejects her father, and the father of her children, and to see this traditional, multi-generational, nuclear family working in harmony, so joyfully, brings these ugly fangs out in Kate.

I guess the puppies aren't that well trained yet. At a little over 8 1/2 month old the puppies should have better self control by now. I don't let my puppy have the "whole house" if we're going to be gone for a long period of time but I can leave him for an hour or so and he's just fine (and he's the same age as her puppies). Of course we did real training with ours and not just "filler for an episode" training. TFW really does get on my nerves when she tries to portray herself as the perfect dog mom.

There are no words.
Nanuq's coat does not fit correctly and she-and the other dog- are at risk of being injured if those coats get wrapped around them or caught on something.
Kate acts like she has no control over her dogs when they want to go outside and she's got no choice but to let them loose all day.

Good heavens. The fakery in this show just beggars belief. I just watched "Dirty Dogs." Kate claims, on the couch, that Nanuq was "black" from dirt (meanwhile, the scene starts out with MAK being dirty, but he just disappears like he never existed---yeah, kind of like his life probably is). Then you see Nanuq, doesn't look like there's a spot of dirt on her, she has a couple of damp patches, but that's it. So K8 decides to treat herself (and the audience) to a crying meltdown, "Go get her crate and bring it out here (sob), she'll have to sleep outside tonight (sob), I can't have her in my house like this." Meanwhile, the dog is perfectly CLEAN. You have to see it to believe it---I mean, who do they think they're fooling with this lameness?

Sorry, when you have multiple, big dogs who love to play outside, you're not going to have a pristine house all the time.
We wipe paws and dry the dogs off, and cover furniture when we've got dirty dogs.
We also have a large mud room and I can't believe there isn't a space in Kate's enormous house that you can isolate the dogs to for awhile.
You do the best you can!
We've had to totally hose dogs down, nose to tail whether it's on our deck in the summer, or whether it's stripping down to our unnawears and taking a dog into the shower in the winter!
Sometimes the dogs make a mess in the house because we can't clean them up right away.
It's not great, but it happens and you deal with it.
Of course we see the kids affected by Kate's meltdowns, but you could REALLY see Nanuq tensing up, and that's something you have to check yourself about.
Dogs can internalize that and become nervous dogs and it's hard to reverse that damage.
Whoa, that was some obnoxiously manic puppypalooza party. Oh, yes, they have all gotten SO much joy out of raising the puppies together. Except for what's-his-face, who's been away for 7 months.

She's fussing over a dirty dog? Yes, we do have mud here right now due to sloppy weather and some melting snow. There are some dirty paws coming into my house, but I just clean them up with warm water a sponge and a towel. I do know that in the summer the dogs who decide to cool off in the pool (when I'm not watching) absolutely love to roll in the mulch beds when they get out. They do know how to use the built-in steps in the pool. Little pieces of wood chips on a long-haired dog is worse than mud. Kate would freak out if her dogs dragged that into the house. In her defense, I can see that she wouldn't want them outside in a pool or doggie wading pool. Been there, done that. Not fun.

If you're reading this Katie, just take each dog, one at a time, into the shower- hose them down, shampoo the dogs well, rinse them well, and towel dry them well. Then go back into the shower,and clean/disinfect the shower stall, and VOILA! Presto chango, you are finished. If the dogs still stink, you put them in your car, and drive them to their groomer (that's probably what you do all the time anyway).

I hate to be in the camera person's shoes. I would have daily migraines, or a case of the trots every time she opens her mouth to whine, scream, cry, complain etc...
A person who actually loves dogs does not freak out like you all are describing. (Although anyone has my permission to cry if the skunk story happens to you.) Kate has a cleaning lady, a groomer who picks up the dog at the house and two little boys who orobably take care of the dogs. Dogs get dirty, guaranteed. If you love dogs you accept this. A sigh, some frustration at the time it will take to clean up, ok. But the breakdown shows she knows nothing about dogs and doesn't want them. Just like when your kids were toddlers, Kate, your dog will not learn the lesson you want her to learn from this.

I can't see her handling 3 large dogs for their whole lives. Least of all when they don't behave. Shoka got training when he was sent away or he wouldn't be as good as he is. I took my paw on vacation with me and on the day we had to leave, it was raining(it was a summer rain, it was quite warm outside). My doggie loves running in the rain so I let her do her thing: about 15 minutes of running arround, getting soaking wet and a bit muddy. I just wiped her a bit and then *gasp* put her in the clean car, on her car blanket and left. I am a true hero, I tell ya! It's what most pet owners do but Jesus, can you imagine Kate waiting around for the dog to have fun and then put him/her in her car??? She thinks she's being reasonable but really, she is so exagerated. Why have a dog(or THREE) if you're not willing to accept there will be messes and that dogs need to be aloud to have messy fun sometimes too and they needn't be PUNISHED for having had fun and having gotten dirty. Cannot believe she couldn't just clean the dog a bit and leave them in a separate room or something. She can swear she's a dog lover up and down, it's incidents like this that make me believe she is lying.

If you watch the clip, there is no way the dog in question qualifies as "black" with mud. At the beginning of the scene, they show Mak with what looks like some dirt on his coat (he's partially covered by a towel, IIRC). I am wondering if in staging this (because you know it had to be "set up"), they forgot which was the dirty dog and just went with whichever was to hand.

This has all been thought out. Cops DETAIN and call DCFS. DCFS then comes and DETAINS the kid in protective custody. DCFS then files a petition under WIC 300(b)(2) commercially sexually exploited minors. Within two days they go to "dream" court (DEDICATION TO RESTORATION THROUGH EMPOWERMENT, ADVOCACY AND MENTORING), where all the judges and lawyers are specialized in dealing with this population and the services are vast and intensive. We're capturing hundreds of these kids. There is more than one way to lawfully detain a child other than jail. Another is protective custody.
The novel idea is that we stop blaming minor children who cannot consent to being exploited by adults. And that services, not jail time, might just stop the cycle. Oh they're still detained and pulled off the street, they are simply being funneled to PROTECTIVE services, an important fact the media has apparently left out. By the way, a minor doesn't have to consent to protective custody. If the judge wants to take jurisdiction over him or her, she can, regardless how the child feels, and has every power under the law to issue a warrant if the child flees.

I don't know why anyone would pick up a large dog unless they absolutely had to.
Our larger dog is 60# and I've never picked her up. No reason to yet. She's young and can jump onto the couch and bed, and can jump into the car.
We have steps and ramps from having older dogs and when I needed to, I did lift our Beardie, but that was really hard.
When a dog is that big, you have to be VERY strong to lift them safely, and a small woman like Kate can't do that.
Her boys are big enough to help, so I don't get why she needs to think she's going to be able to, or need to, lift a huge GSD by herself.

If she wanted to lift or carry a dog around, she should have gotten a lap dog. She is beyond ridiculous lifting up such a big dog. Something is not right with her. I cannot inpmagine the dog even likes being picked up. Bizarre.
She is esentially telling a 7 year old to cry himself to sleep. Who does that? Who doesn't explain to their 7 year old that expressing emotion is healthy and you shouldn't feel like you have to hide it? How did the 7 year old even learn that he needs to hide his emotions? Where did that come from?
Speaking of hiding, now I'm remembering when Joel was 4, freshly potty train and sick with the flu and had an accident. He was probably embarrassed or who knows, maybe scared of Kate? and he hid the wet underwear and put on new one. Kate found out and punished him. She punished a 4 year old for being embarrassed about his accident and put the whole thing on film. And now I remember that Hannah's potty accident was off camera(they were in the process of filming an episode-Christmas one maybe?-so I can only assume Kate requested Hannah not be filmed). Why wasn't her son worth the same as her daughter? Which reminds me of how she talked about Collin's anger issues and didn't even mention Alexis, as if she hadn't been kicked out of k too.
I could go on and on. One horrible thing leads to another. Collin may have had some challenges from birth but looking back on the stuff that was on film alone, I can't be convinced his uprbringing wasn't a major contributor to how bad things are now.
When we first got our puppy I'd pick him up all the time for hugs and cuddles. He's 8 1/2 months old now and 50 pounds and built like a tank (English Bulldog) so I don't pick him up any more. He can jump up on the couch or chair (when I'm in it because he thinks he's a lap dog) so there's no need to lift him. He can't jump in to the car but we tell him "paws up" and he puts his front paws in and we just have to lift his rear end up while he's got his weight on the front. I have a ramp but we've got to teach him to use it. She's nuts wanting to lift Nookie Pookie. The dog is not going to feel safe/secure when being lifted and is going to wiggle and someone is going to get hurt.
What's the difference between detailing and arresting?

In spite of everything, it would really do her (and her family) well, if she would just go on meds.
She has burdened those children from Day One that they must film or lose their home, attend (horrors) a public school, have vacations, or get nice presents for birthdays and Xmas. No wonder the kids willingly but also grudgingly film. I also get the impression Mady has been specifically groomed to be the golden child, the family's savior for future filming because she has the personality most like her mother. Mady enjoys the attention but in the talent arena, she is lacking and her attitude will kill any opportunities she may have had. Nobody will hire her. But Kate continues to brag about her like she is amazing (really, IMO, Kate sees herself in Mady).
She'll do Kate Doublespeak or ignore any questions about Collin being home if she's on Twitter tonight. Thank God this is the last installment of Krazy Kate.
NJGal51 (#162), it's probably a control issue with TFW. If she's strong enough to lift the dog, she's still in charge, and that's never gonna change.
Turn out the lights (#127), funny she made that comment about smelling like dog. I just said the other day that Gladys would never get her snow-frolicking fantasy picture because TFW can't even stand the smell of her sons' room, so there's no way she would tolerate wet dog smell.
RoxyHelen (#161), yes, TFW has shown us again and again the dysfunction in her household. Sometimes we just try to connect the dots (and are often proven correct later), but other times it's right there in front of our eyes.
I watched the dirty dog clip and wondered if she was wailing and wringing her hands and crying "she's ruined". One of her props got a little dirty and she carries on.
Did she cry "he's ruined" as she watched her beautiful, intelligent son being sent away to a custodial facility?
Or did his time as a suitable prop, looking the part and complicit in her fraud,come to an end?
@TLC stinks I said this before but i also wonder if Kate will answer questions about another season because we know the fans will not only ask her but you know Milo and friends will be begging to TLC for more episodes.I wonder if the reason TLC would do another season is because they know Kate's few fans will start crying to them if they didn't,then again they didn't seem to give a crap about what they thought when they first cancelled back in 2011.

It should be that way and for most kids I think it is that way, but I don't think TFW has ever been a super hero for her kids.
They see her melting down over the most ridiculous things like the dog being dirty or she can't figure out how to paddle a kayak and I think they've always had to hide their feelings. I don't think they've ever had the freedom to be vulnerable with her.
She's never been a soft or comforting spot for them to land when they're hurting or fearful. Even when they were toddlers she didn't offer them a soft lap with warm hugs. They were the ones who were always rubbing her back or feet and placating her rather than the other way around. The kids have been parenting, calming, and comforting her for many years.
Could Collin possibly be in foster care at this point? His time at the facility seems excessive.
Thank you all for the links, kind words and prayers for our loss. His brother is pretty sad. We got them the same day after my other little chihuahua Shadow was hit by a car. I just can't get my family to listen. Sugarbear and his brother Buddy are a terrier/chihuahua mix from the same litter. I always said that Sugarbear got the terrier and Buddy got the chihuahua because he is a short hair. I sure miss my little guy so much already.

What's really awful is that Kate took Collin's pain and made it about herself.
Your young child is upset and wants to cry, and then you heap on top of that YOU crying?
Parents crying is VERY upsetting to a child. Parents are the rock that children look to for stability and to know things are OK in the big picture. When a parent can't keep it together, children can't build from a firm foundation.
It's pathological that Kate makes her children's problems and issues about herself all the damn time.

It'll be interesting to see how much the kids remember of their childhood. All the clips show the kids having to refer to their 'team' for an answer. Just goes to show they were too young to really remember all the trips, etc. and also debunks Kate's 'fact' that the kids watch the dvd's all the time so they can reminisce.

I also love how whoever manages the TLC shows (individual) facebook pages, never puts up a show update on Kate's page until just a couple of hours before airtime but always update LPBW and Outdaughtered way early in the daytime.

Sherri (#173), I agree that TFW has never seemed to be that super hero to her kids. And I think that's why it was particularly hard for them to lose Beth and Aunt Jodi. Those women seemed to have a tenderness and warmth towards the kids we didn't really see from their own gestational carrier.
Speaking of whom...is there a section of tonight's game show called "People Mommy Has Kicked To The Curb?" They might need a 2-hour episode for that.

Good suggestion! I'm not a big gum chewer, but if we do have any around, it's kept safe and never lying around.

If indeed Kate said filming is on a break, that's encouraging to me. Networks have their filming schedules and budgets approved way ahead of time. If they were going to film this past holidays or Spring break, I think they'd know.
Heck, they'd have the story boards for summer cranked up by now.
There is a full bathroom in her basement. Why not dedicate it for the dogs? If you have dogs, who stay outside, they get dirty. Clean them up in that bathroom. Duh.

Totally OT...I just read that Steven McDonald, a NYC policeman who was shot more than 30 years ago in the line of duty, has died at 59. He was paralyzed from the neck down, unable to breathe on his own, but spent the almost 30 years after that tragedy trying to help and inspire others.
He even traveled to war-torn countries to spread his message. McDonald not only forgave the man who shot him, but corresponded with him while he was in jail. McDonald's son Conor, born a few months after the shooting, is now a sergeant.

If an fan asks if there will be more in 2017, Kate makes sure she includes TLC in her response tweet. Commercial break or filming break, it matters not because the production schedule is done and if she has to nudge TLC with a reminder of just how much she is loved by her fans, I read that as she has not been scheduled.

Collin looked a bit frail compared to his brothers. Otherwise, he seemed engaged, if not completely ignored by Kate.
How the hell is this a level playing field when the tups who were too young to really remember half this stuff compete with older people who's memory is far more developed?
