Children see, children do. Kate was the first one to call Alexis crazy, wild, feral. That's where the other kids learned to talk like that about Alexis. Heck, if it's true that the kids grew up watching their old episodes over and over, they heard "Alexis, she's just wild" a billion times in the opening credits alone.
I was looking on YT for a specific clip where Kate talks about Alexis and instead I found a clip about Alexis and Collin repeating words and phrases a lot. Kate remarks that Alexis does it specifically to annoy people but says nothing about Collin. I am absolutely not suggesting any diagnosis for Collin but I do wonder if perhaps Kate ignored something potentially important about Collin back then.
Also, at the end of said clip, Alexis(who looks no older than 3-4) tells a little girl "and stop kicking me, you're not my baby anymore". I know production writes "not a baby" but I hear "my baby". Now where why would a 4 year old say such a thing, unless she's repeating what a parent might have said to her or a sibling.

I have to wonder if Kate is unwell. It's not normal for an adult woman to have as little energy as she has. (I probably less energy but I have multiple health issues.) Is she physically unwell? Mentally unwell? Or drinks too much? She appears to have little to know responsibilities. She pays for help or makes kids do it. There are nannies as well. Yet she doesn't appear to have hobbies or volunteer work. Basically she accomplishes nothing every day except for maybe pestering TLC execs. This is not normal for a 41 yr old healthy woman.

His son was on THE VOICE this past season and he is good. His dad was back stage with the family watching him audition. Blake Shelton recognized him because he had opened for him years back. Then he told the story of his dad losing the coin flip for the airplane seat.

Yes, that is interesting. My daughter watches a British couple with a 3 year old boy. They vlog their daily life, and have excellent photographic skills such as use of a drone and it's of high quality. However, the child is often shown in his bath or wearing just underwear. It's supposed to be partly a record of his life for him and some of it is lovely, but can't they keep it private and also not film him in questionable states of undress? I have pointed this out to my daughter.

And herein lays one of my biggest pet peeves. I have a few vegetarian, a couple vegan friends and fully support their right & decision.
One from work, is such a rabid animal rights supporter that I had to un-follow their timeline due to the graphic pics they post and the sheer volume of them. I don't believe in the exploitation of animals either, have always tried to make smarter decisions and have had issues with any type of abuse, zoo's, circuses, swimming with dolphins, etc. and don't want to turn this into a debate about the treatment of animals.
However, she loves reality shows with kids, thinks they're so cute ... ummm WHAT! She doesn't see it as exploitation. I spoke to how it may affect them in the future, with their childhoods being shown for viewer pleasure similar to an animal in a cage, being judged by viewers, having to film regardless of how they might feel (mentally or physically), the potential downfalls and she spouted scarily similar drivel as the sheeple; its only a small portion of their life, they or the family is earning money for their upbringing, college funds, trips to exotic/fun places, etc.
I gave up because I didn't want WWIII at work, but, it baffles me that she and others can't see the similarities and don't value a child's welfare or future as much as they do an animal's!

His son was on THE VOICE this past season and he is good. His dad was back stage with the family watching him audition. Blake Shelton recognized him because he had opened for him years back. Then he told the story of his dad losing the coin flip for the airplane seat.
I just read an article recently about this. When Richey and Tommy flipped for the seat, Richey won the toss said, I have never won anything in my life.
Someone else famous was suppose to be on that plane but was too sick to go on and perform. Another man got his seat and the man that didn't go was Waylon Jennings!

That really pleases me.This country needs to continue to shut these places of animal torture down as many other countries have.I've been an elephant advocate for years but many other species suffer in the circus, too. Finding them suitable homes is a big chore but definitely a step in the right direction.
Why am I reminded of showbiz kids and especially the G kids...hmmm. We have a long way to go.
Formerly Duped, when I saw the article headline, I felt a relief for the animals. The suffering they suffer to entertain people.

Do you think anyone will step up for Youtube kids as well? There seems to be a growing trend, being a vlogger and cashing in on your adorable kid(s). Alarmingly, many of these parents are teen parents(the second horrible trend). I wonder if someday there will be laws and regulations in place for these kids too. Look at the Shaytards, their children have been filmed for over 7 years, some children have never known life without a camera in their face(the youngest two). Parents have shown plenty stuff that sometimes was obvious the children did not want shared.

Yes, that is interesting. My daughter watches a British couple with a 3 year old boy. They vlog their daily life, and have excellent photographic skills such as use of a drone and it's of high quality. However, the child is often shown in his bath or wearing just underwear. It's supposed to be partly a record of his life for him and some of it is lovely, but can't they keep it private and also not film him in questionable states of undress? I have pointed this out to my daughter.

And herein lays one of my biggest pet peeves. I have a few vegetarian, a couple vegan friends and fully support their right & decision.
One from work, is such a rabid animal rights supporter that I had to un-follow their timeline due to the graphic pics they post and the sheer volume of them. I don't believe in the exploitation of animals either, have always tried to make smarter decisions and have had issues with any type of abuse, zoo's, circuses, swimming with dolphins, etc. and don't want to turn this into a debate about the treatment of animals.
However, she loves reality shows with kids, thinks they're so cute ... ummm WHAT! She doesn't see it as exploitation. I spoke to how it may affect them in the future, with their childhoods being shown for viewer pleasure similar to an animal in a cage, being judged by viewers, having to film regardless of how they might feel (mentally or physically), the potential downfalls and she spouted scarily similar drivel as the sheeple; its only a small portion of their life, they or the family is earning money for their upbringing, college funds, trips to exotic/fun places, etc.
I gave up because I didn't want WWIII at work, but, it baffles me that she and others can't see the similarities and don't value a child's welfare or future as much as they do an animal's!
The picture of TFW holding Nookie Pookie like a weightlifter I think is staged. I think that Steve picked up NP and handed the dog to her and jumped out of the way and one of the kids took the picture.

Or she could of picked NP up. A coworker came into work walking crooked and bent over holding her back. I said, Oh, no, did you hurt your back? She said, yes.
She hurt her back picking up her 2 year old little boy to comfort him.

Smoochie (#46), yeah, it's hard to battle that sort of mentality. Clearly this is a person with compassion, because she cares about animals. But she can't seem to make the leap when it comes to how children are treated.
In the case of the G kids, I think their futures will reveal just how profound the damage was. But for now, people are somehow too charmed and engaged to see the dark underbelly of these kinds of shows.

One usually doesn't go to the ER for constipation, unless that child is in extreme distress and in urgent need of medical help, which I don't think that Collin was. Jon knew exactly what it was and took care of it. Kate didn't give a rat's patootie.
