Kate isn't published in People because the editor "likes" her. It's all part of the business strategy, it doesn't matter who the editor is. The tv show is still streaming on multiple platforms ... need to keep her name recognition going. When the tv/streaming parent company buys ads, the magazines print the stories. This has been standard practice for decades. Decades. This idea that 'Katie Coyne loves Kate so much' was the reason Kate was written about is incredibly ill-informed. It's about the money/business. Not 'editor just loves this celebrity SO MUCH.'

I haven’t been on this site in many years (possibly 10 or more years!), but I had to drop in once I saw the media about Colin’s book. Abusers forget that children grow up, but here we are.
Those of us who saw this coming will probably not be surprised by anything Colin has to say. I pre-ordered his book to support him and spite Kate and her rabid fans. I hope it's a best-seller and Kate's abuse becomes public knowledge. I hope she is shunned by all and ashamed to show her face in public. I hope her supporters finally feel the shame and humiliation they deserve for defending a child abuser.

What we all used to talk about, so many years ago, has come to pass, like the book Collin is releasing in Oct, Kate and "Claw Man".

The best response from her is her lawyer told her she can’t sue Collin for defamation, because she’s a public figure. She still thinks she’s larger than life! Shes about as famous as my left toe.

There are quite a few people on TT going back thru documents and creating timelines again. A new piece of information, I hadnt known, is that TLC had a piece in the agreement that if Kate said the kids agreed to film and they didnt, that Kate could be sued. So when Collin started to go against filming, the caveat in the agreement was if a child became incapacitated due to Mental Disability. Hence, the admission to the Behavioral Institue and the ongoing "fluid" diagnosis. I guess Hannah, altho wanted to go live with Jon, never made waves about filming, while in Kate's custody...so cha-ching, sounds like motive for Kate to create a mental disability for the child who wouldnt film so she could continue and not be sued.
And bwahaha, to the comment about "cant sue" because she is a public figure...yea , nice try Kate.
And the Steve affair and now a couple, is just the cherry on top. She thinks we are all so dumb.

Hi Dmasy, I remember that name! I agree with Meagler, it would be good to start a new thread since this one was started almost 3 years ago now! Shows you how long Kate has been too insignificant to write about.
But there is now a new energy in the air with Collin's book announcement. He has been posting on his social media & engaging with his followers (including myself). The Gosselin thread on Reddit has blown up with old clips and people sharing their memories of how bad she was on the show.
And then there's Kate over on TT trying to act like everything is normal where she has boring videos about her dogs. Yawn.

From Dmasy -- I have also pre-ordered the book on Amazon. I follow Cheere Denise on Youtube. She comments on current social events and reads books with her inserted commentary. She is delightful and has a sharp wit. ( Her impersonation of Prince Harry makes me laugh every time.) She is planning to read Collin's book when it comes out. She has already discussed some of what little she knows of the Gosslin situation. All of us are better educated than she is, so far. I anticipate that I will be leaving many comments!
I have been watching K8’s Tik Tok on and off the last year. She just loves living without the kids. She loves living with Steve and her dogs even more. Even when she broke her leg last year, she was in rather good spirits cause she had Steve there. Kids who ? They no longer exist.

Admin. I agree. I cant believe she's with Steve. Or i should say i can't believe he's with her. He knows what she's like. How can he find her appealing, unless the way she acts is a turn in for him. Hi it’s T- An old time poster here…Kate’s young dog died. It’s horrible and tragic to lose any pet, never mind two pets suddenly in such a short span of time. So, I don’t grudge her very valid grief. She is stating on her TikTok, how heartbroken she is, and generally going on and on about her grief. Which, again, I completely understand. HOWEVER, she says nothing about her grief of losing one of her children!? I mean, she basically just walked away from Colin and when she mentions him, it’s only in a disparaging way. But she goes on and on on social media about losing her “baby” meaning her dog. And goes on to equate losing her puppy to losing a child with Steve. I am one of those dog moms that does treat my dog like a child and I consider him a family member. When I have lost pets previously, I have been absolutely devastated. So two things can be true at once.. losing your dog is horrible. But losing your son should also require some amount of grief.
K8 and Steve did a video how they may be getting a new puppy in the fall from breeder who would be related to dog they just lost. It will be interesting to see how this new puppy lines up with the release of Collins book.
I also wonder how Steve’s kids feel about his new lady love. It’s hard enough to watch your parents split up but then to see their father end up with a woman they have probably known of most of their lives and is a person known for her bad behavior.

I agree that it’s particularly hard on kids to see a parent’s new relationship be someone you knew, trusted, welcomed into the family for years. This happened to the kids I nannied for in their teen years and to this day it’s so gross and shocking. Like I’d much rather you just go on tinder and meet somebody new nobody knows.
