The Gosselin’s marriage dissolves on TV. When the couple weaponize their fame in a messy divorce, they fracture the image of the perfect American family. Watch the full episode here on Vice.
Clack (#200), reality TV fame is still a relatively new phenomenom. And those who reach some level of success and acclaim -- with no particular skill set -- make it look awfully appealing. But sad stories like the Gosselin kids and now this young man who took his own life are surely cautionary tales for parents ready to sell their children's privacy to the highest bidder.
Haven't watched "Quiet On The Set" yet. Not sure I can stomach it. And these horror stories came from professional sets where a parent expects tutors and other adult supervision. I think these confessions will multiply as more people find the courage to share their stories. I wonder if Paul Petersen has weighed in.
I think that is correct, more and more will come out. What sickened me was Joanna Kerns and Allen thick wrote to the court to support the pedo! He only got 16 months. It’s disgusting!
Back to sister wives, how are these people legally getting multiple spouses? And filming it???? And on a shallow note, the husband looks like a grease ball from a bad 80s movie, how did he get more than one wife? Ha ha
Kody’s not in violation of any laws. He can call them wives but they’re really just girlfriends or open marriage affairs to the rest of us. He claims he was under investigation for polgomy in Utah but word is that was nonsense and just him making drama for the show.
Clack (#2), apparently that guy was a textbook abuser. His behavior with everyone else in his orbit was above reproach. So when the accuser speaks up, he or she is the one people doubt, not the accused. Sickening.

The Jerry Sandusky approach. Become a beloved local celebrity and philanthropist. Touch thousands of lives. If the shit ever hits the fan, everyone will say, well, that couldn't possibly be.
The exploitation of these kids reminds me of the time Kate pulled down Collin's pants, sat him on the potty, and walked out, closing the door behind her and leaving him alone in a room with a man with a camera. What mother could ever justify doing such a thing? When money and fame come into the picture, too many parents forget the basic instinct to protect their children. And she still think she didn't do anything wrong. Unforgivable!

Ohhh thank you for clarifying that. Makes sense now.
