Yesterday, Animal Planet star Tia Maria Torres spoke out in support of the breed, pointing to the nanny dog's good nature with children, and saying she would send Kate some educational DVDs on the dogs. Torres said aggressive and ignorant owners are responsible for attacks. Meanwhile, Animal Planet's web site has called the breed eager to please, faithful, enthusiastic friends and pleasant with children.
"Kate should know better than anyone what it's like to be vilified, what it’s like for people to say untruths about you," Torres said. "I would also like to know if Kate has had any personal experiences with pit bulls that she believes she is the authority on their behavior." Oh, snap!

Famous pit bull owners who also have children in the home include Michael J. Fox (who even gave voice to a pit bull determined to make it home to his family in the classic 1993 family film Homeward Bound), Jamie Foxx, and Alicia Silverstone, whose son Bear is 18 months old. Suggestion for Kate: Next time you have an issue with someone who is around your children, pick up the phone and call them and discuss it like grown adults. Leave Twitter and your fans out of it.

I don't think Jon is Robert's source about the swap.
I think it is entirely possible that KK did the swap while she had custody, and kept the kids from telling Jon till it was over/nearly over.

Just because Deanna and/or Lily/IW tweet those comments doesn't mean that they're actually true. How would Deanna/Lily know anything unless it came from Kate? KK is a liar. We all know that. Why on earth should anyone believe a word that they know comes out of KK's mouth?
Since Kate herself said the kids were WITH Jon, just at a friend's house WITH him, that's utter nonsense. It's also nonsense you can't see your kids until utilities are back on. You know, Nan, I was thinking the same thing today, after reading some of the tweets from the "lunatic" fan and those from Milo. I am not naive. I am a college grad with two degrees, working on another one. I've been out in the world.
Until I started reading the rantings of the rabid fans, and the poor sheeple who show up here from time to time, I didn't know that this cult mentality still existed to such a degree...this idol worship for an ex-reality star who is -- NOTHING. It's the teens who puzzle me the most, especially the one with 20,000 photos of Kate. The older sheeple I can understand. They appear to be lonely, uneducated, living through her because she's the closest to "fame" they are ever going to be. Just having her re-tweet sends them into a jubilant frenzy. I must admit, though, that Milo is a bit of an anomaly. She's living in her own little Twilight Zone. Though she admits that she's never met Kate, she believes that she communicates with her because they are best friends. I think that even if Kate were deceased, Milo would play the Rita Mae Miller character in Ghost, and still be able to communicate with Kate, and her sheeple buddies would believe her. She'd be passing along Kate's messages from the Great Beyond.
They gather together to worship her. This is difficult to understand but hey, it takes all kinds. What is puzzling is that in order to do this they have to overlook child exploitation and justify it somehow, even if it means sweeping it under the rug. Who knows...maybe some of them are too caught up in their hero worship to even consider that something isn't right with a mother who would put her very own children out there because SHE misses being in the public eye. SHE misses the attention. But she has no talent, and so she drags her children along because it's all she has. They are her last hope. Sheeple think this is acceptable behavior because she needs to support her children. In the process, the fans slam the kids' father and one encourages Kate to consider him her enemy. This is sick behavior and suggests that this person has been hurt by a male figure or figures and is hostile to every man. She's one person Kate definitely doesn't need in her camp.
I wonder if this saga will show up one day in college books, or be studied in a class of abnormal child psychology. There seems to be no stopping her. The enablers will keep on trucking, doing what they have been doing for years. It seems that the more she generates negative publicity, the stronger their stance becomes, as they reach for anything to defend her.
They are certainly a curious flock, sometimes amusing, as in the case of the New Sheriff; and often pathetic, as with Milo.
Sorry for the rant. I can't blame it on food poisoning, or on Ambien, or on too much Rumspringa. I blame the flu that is getting passed around here at home. We share everything, it seems.

You know, I was thinking last week about what I've realized since being on this blog. I never posted on blogs before until I started here. When I first started reading here, I couldn't believe the tweets and comments from Kate fans. Of course I know that there are people that can be illogical, will stand their ground even when they are proven wrong, etc. But I was still amazed at the complete control the persona of Kate seems to have over these grown adults (and some children). I just found it hard to accept that people would shut down their brains to defend someone they don't know and have never met, but would defend till their death.
I'm having a hard time putting my feelings into words, but I trust you all understand. Cult is the perfect word to describe this scenario. And that's scary in a lot of ways because her fans can be so vile.
My heart just breaks for all the Gosselin children, they never asked for any of this and don't deserve it. I don't care what delusional world Kate lives in to think that her children don't hear all the crap about their family. I don't care where her children go to school and that they're insulated from stuff, parents talk and kids talk. Now there's more stuff all over the internet about their parents. These poor children are all going to have ulcers from having to put up with it. This is true, but I honestly think that it's not so much the case that they will not use logic, but rather the ability to use it just isn't there. This may be because they are intellectually incapable of it, or because they have been brainwashed for so long that it's going to take intense debriefing and reprogramming. There are excellent sites on the web that address this process...how to escape mind control and coercive persuasion.
OT -- Excessive rumspringing may cause you to have strange dreams, such as one in which you find yourself in a romantic relationship with Drew Peterson. Of course, fever from the flu could also cause delusional dreams. They are not pleasant, and very creepy.
I finished reading Melissa Francis book, "Diary of a Stage Mother's Daughter: A Memoir"
Her writing style is clear as are her recollections. Her awareness of financial issues and the pressures of acting are remarkable considering how young she was.
I suspect the Gosselin children share some of the her confusion.
How she managed and how her sister coped will re-enforce a thought that has been expressed here more than a few times. Each of Kate's kids will find their own way to rationalize and survive. Statistically, they won't all choose a healthy way.
She was cheated financially. Her mother was obsessed with weight and appearance. Her dad provided a modicum of stability. She did not enjoy her "celebrity" status much as she tried to be a student and blend into normal society.
You will read the entire book wanting/waiting to know what her current relationship with her mother is. I won't reveal that here!

NJ I'm with you, I'm not really that bothered by language. Depending on the company I keep I've been known to drop some bad words. Oddly enough some of the worst language I ever heard was in D.C. around respected journalists and politicians. They were some of the most educated and "good background type" people I knew.
I do think though you have to know your audience. A twitter account or blog is a huge audience, and I think using it so much on there suggests someone not aware or respectful of their broad audience. For instance NJ and I aren't on here cursing up a storm. We know our audience. And I think it's better not to use it around kids, though it won't kill em.

I didn't state it properly, but in my mind, I knew I was referring to a post from a day or 2 ago about Kate or one of her fans making a comment about people using vulgar language. Then another poster brought up that Kendra uses vulgar language all the time.
I don't know because I don't follow anyone on twitter (because I don't have it), but my main point is that I got the impression Kendra was using this language on her public tweeter and my point was about kids getting embarassed by their parents' public comments.
My apologies to you and to anyone else who I may have offended with my post. That sincerely was not my intention. By the way, I've been known to use "salty" language myself when I get really angry.

I also stated the other issues with her and it was a combination of all of these things that I based my opinion on. I personally do not have a high opinion of any of these women who use their body and sex to get fame. And that, I think, would be an embarassment to their children when they get older. I did too for a few years, I dont know why I switched but I did. I used to do alot of counted cross stitch too, but it got too hard on my eyes.
Loving the self striping and self patterning yarns! And all the new organic cotton blends, especially for kids clothes. I admit to a bit of yarn hoarding. OK A lot of yard hoarding, I could open my own store but I love catching it on clearance and then putting a project together with something I already have.
I've noticed the sheeple often fall back on the "real story" or the "truth" will come out and then we will all look like fools. And yet that real story and truth never does come out or if it is any different it doesn't make one bit of difference to the greater point. The real story is usually no more significant than Kate wore a blue shirt that day not green.

It's part of the illness. I am actually not sure all of the sheeple started out this way, but you cant be in a real or imagined relationship with someone as mentally ill as Kate without changing your own thought process and sinking to her level. Any relationship has to have some balance and the sheeple have no choice but to join in her lala land. Or leave.

he has only had power back on for 2 days! and now this for him... I really count my blessings.
One good thing though, my mom just moved into a condo with a gas and wood burning fireplace. it can do double duty. Because of the weather we are seeing all around us, my DD#1 was able to convince her to have someone come out, check the unit, check the chimney and instruct her how to use it. I am so glad for that, if her power goes out this winter, i wont have to worry about her freezing to death right away.

Jon is certainly a better parent than Kate, in that he doesn't beat the kids or the dogs, or neglect them.....but that doesn't mean he can be characterized as a particularly good parent either. There's more to being a good parent than just being nice to the kids, imo. Being a better parent than Kate just isn't that high of a bar.
On the one hand, having Kate and TLC against you, who stands a chance? They take all of your assets, deprive you of a means to make a living, spread rumors and bash you on national tv so that you can't possibly get a good job, and then complain when you don't maintain a posh, lavish life style.
Tough to get ahead in the face of all of that.
On the other hand, he does seem prone to not making good decisions in the other parts of his life....the effects of which spill over onto his ability to be a good parent.
Here's the thing, Kate is the one who has made things public. When you make things public, well, then, the public knows about it. That leaves things that could be private, if Kate had not made it public, open to the public's opinions, which we express here.
Now if Jon were to do the same you would see more said about him. He has closed his Twitter and doesn't advertise to the public via tweets what he or the children are doing. In fact, when he did have Twitter he didn't tweet about his children. When the photos Liz took of the 2 children with the dog were posted, there were those here who said they felt it was not right. Not because of the dog, but that they felt she should not be posting photos of the Gosselin children.
So I believe it's really a matter of the fact that Kate puts much more out there in her efforts to not fade into oblivion. It's presented, we comment and I think it's really as simple as that, as is the solution.

He went to Vegas 5 times on his own dime trying to hook up with investors.
Get the facts straight. Jon left his kids and it made them a nervous wreck, he wouldn't keep custody, when he did come for custody, if he came, Kate let him use the house and he always had a girlfriend/babysitter come over. Who told Kate? Cara called her at the hotel on a cell phone that was left with Cara, in case something went wrong.
Get it straight. You forget the money Jon had that he blew trying to get his own career going. He was a co host on Access Hollywood and the Insider both. He was on Larry King, GMA 3 interviews.
Jon never left TV he just wanted his own show and somehow he thought he could because he had a fan base and I guess you all are the fan base, right? Right on.
Jon cannot live alone, he has to have a woman living with him or one that has money, a job.
If Haily Glassman talks, Kate Majors talks and all the other women, especially Ellen, whom everyone loved talked and was good for the kids, you would all understand Jon is angry.

When Jon gave his interview several months ago that he was too poor to pay child support and rent, he did receive a backlash. Specifically, both myself and the admin of this site complained that he needed to stop whining and keep such info private. Same thing for interviews he gave showing him and Liz with the kids at a restaurant. Those interviews were not well received by people here and he was called out on it.
Shortly after, he canceled his Twitter account. I wish Kate would frankly do the same.
Is Jon profiting from Robert Hoffman's recent articles? Maybe, maybe not. If you have physical evidence to support that assertion, please share it. Otherwise it's speculation and unconfirmed rumor (and that happens with Kate info here as well) and it will be questioned, as it should be (as it should be and mostly is when people post insider info on Kate). Also a word of advice - create a screen name when posting here. You will be taken far more seriously than if you just post anonymous.

I'd be surprised if "Mom Swap" ever sees the light of day. Sounds like another pilot that will go nowhere. Just like Twist of Kate, or the talk show she filmed with Paula Deen, et al.
Anonymous, you make some interesting points and if you have facts to back them up then email admin (admin@realitytvkids.com) and share how you have this info. I can vouch that she's trustworthy - I've shared info with her and she's never 'outed' me :) Let her be the judge of what can be posted and what can't - it's her blog. If you don't want to follow the rules, start your own blog. But dropping in and sh!t-stirring does harm to your allegations. At the moment, you don't have much credibility here.

Kate only got those things because she had TLC backing her and booking the gigs for her. And what did she ever talk about? Um, um, yes I've got 8 kids...Um, did I mention that I've got 8 kids...Um, I'm a single mom of 8 kids and do it all on my own (roll eyes, heavy sigh, flap hands and poke dry eye with a tissue to try and force a tear out). Kate can't make it without invoking the fact that she has 8 kids and she knows it (and I'm surprised that she hasnt legally changed her name to K8 just to remind everyone of the fact that shes got 8 kids). Kate is a bitch, a famewhore and a diva and without the backing of TLC people are not going to put up with her shit. Kate has money and doesn't need to work. She needs to just fade away and live off that money out of the spotlight.
Jon? Jon is Jon. He loves his kids. He doesn't have the money that Kate has (I still can't figure that one out and please don't come back and tell me he spent it all) but he does what he can. Most of all kids want to be loved and that's what Jon provides. I don't think it's a matter of the twins not wanting to go to Jon's, I think Kate has probably brainwashed them with "I don't know what I might do if everyone leaves me"....that and the fact that she's buying them off (the iPhones being a good example of this).
Admin, you mentioned yesterday that you got the iPhone 5. Me too! I went from an android so it's all new to me. I'm waiting for my iPhone 5 for dummies book to arrive.
