This has opened a whole can of worms because you can easily see who is commenting and liking and check out their profiles. Some of the people on there look like accounts belonging to other kids in the family. I am very much aware there are a lot of fake accounts out there but I can't rule out all the ones I've seen as fake. In fact one I saw doesn't seem fake at all.
Kate being Kate probably doesn't have the foggiest idea that all you have to do is like a photo and everyone can check out your profile.
Gladys is probably thrilled that the conversation has shifted to Zorro. She certainly had her own feathers in a bunch! This ought to keep
her going until lights out.

That might be exactly it, especially since Milo and Iwana were early tweeting buddies. Iwana was the first person Milo followed after she followed Kate. Right now she's comfy and secure as Kate's spokeswoman. Kate dropped Iwana; she could drop her.

This all makes perfect sense. I can't believe it took me this long to connect the dots. Especially with all the contact Milo used to have with this person. Iwanna is part of the Milo mystery in some form, I'm sure of it.
Layla, yes, and due to aging the kids probably will never have the appeal they once did. Even when TLC keeps throwing in old clips when they were babies, every clip is like TLC saying "you're not cute enough anymore." They might as well just say it.
The thing is, it's not the children's fault they are older and not cute anymore. But, Kate will resent them for it, for ruining her dreams and what they once had by growing up.
By the way we decided the next series we would marathon watch, reluctantly on my part, is Bates Motel. I was pleasantly surprised. Acting and writing so far is 5 stars. Whoever wrote it must have done extensive research about narcissistic mothers. They've written Mrs. Bates textbook.

I watched the few episodes when Kate "performed'. I hadn't watched since.
I wanted to see Suzanne Somers, so I tuned in at the beginning of this season. I got hooked quickly.
I just watched the first part of the finale. How could anyone choose one dancer to win? The 3 finalists are each amazing. Noah isn't the best dancer, but he brings since heart and inspiration.
Worth watching just to see Bruce Willis with tears of pride in his eyes.
I want the ALL to win!

Two things that I can think of. To me, it's obvious that the sheep are only really interested in Kate. Sure, they give an "I love your kids!!!" and "your kids are so cute!!" once in a while, but overall, I think they could take them or leave them at this point.
Second, animal blogs and other social media accounts are pretty niche and you have to offer something more than bad photography and worse, insulting updates telling people who take the time to follow, why you're NOT updating.
It can be imaginative and fun to anthropomorphize animals if you have the talent to do it.
I can say that I'm positive Kate has had machinations about writing children's books about the animal inmates on the compound, because picture books with few words are so easy.
Not so much.
It takes talent and imagination to execute children's books and I don't think Kate can pull it off.
At least not by herself...

It's funny that all these entertainment shows don't spend 5 minutes on google like some folks here did. It didn't take long to unearth some very questionable activity in this guy's life. I believe that all these "entertainment/gossip" shows are all in bed together and the narrative is controlled by the Benjamins. They're as real as the realest reality shows.
I watched the premier of Wayward Pines and I already know it's not for me. Too weird. Great cast but I think the storyline is going to stretch my willing suspension of disbelieve to the breaking point. I'm not into sci-fi or whatever you call that particular genre.

Maybe it was a "long time ago" (seems the discussion was pretty recent, like months not years) My question was in relation to recent news, seeing as one child is tying to defect. WHY were Colin and Cara not going to their father's for almost a year? Why and how was it resolved? Why did it need resolving in the first place.

They've also reviewed all of the previous MM episodes as well as other tv shows and movies. They're thorough, insightful, and fill in the blanks on many story lines. Their costume explanations thru the years and the relevance to the characters and their story lines made so much sense. I'll miss the show - it was such a great reminder of that era which I also miss. LOL I highly recommend going back and reading them if you're so inclined. ;-)

I remember this very thing being raised as a concern 13 years ago when reality hit it really big. I distinctly remember a lot of commentators saying well wait a second, the real bread and butter of TV shows is reaching syndication. THAT's where the real money is. How will reality shows run in syndication? You see it once, see who's voted off, and you never have to see it again.
More than any other genre reality TV does not lend itself to syndication, and that's bad news for bottom lines. Sure TLC re-runs their shows all the time, but their numbers for re-runs are dismal. But a show like Game of Thrones could run in syndication conceivably forever. Look at Little House on the Prairie.

The look and feel of the show was amazing.
Tucker's Mom - I agree completely about DWTS. I don't agree with all the 10's last night either. I admire all that Noah has had to overcome but when you come right down to it this is supposed to be a dancing competition and he really should be the next to go. He should have been gone before Derek and his partner (still can't spell her name). It's a popularity contest and I wouldn't be surprised to see him win (I'm hoping for Rumer though).
The latest rumors are that Bruce Jenner will be competing in the next season and Derek and Mark vying to be his/her partner.

I agree! He must of been under a rock when his "hot girlfriend" was on CA and her tv show inflicting abuse on the kids and the animals. What a team! He is an abuser, she is an abuser. If they get together for real, they will abuse each other. That is how they roll.

Dmasy, DWTS has improved over the years. They are always shifting the pros a bit, someone leaves or takes of a season, someone else comes on. They added the "contemporary" dance category.
They have embraced contestants of wide age range, disabilities (Amy Purdy was double below knee amputee) , physical size (Amber Riley said her win showed big girls could dance just as well as anyone). I love it, it's always a fun mix of people. The costume design, makeup and hair and set design are outstanding. It's fun to see how people act when they really have to work hard. I don't think the media is in bed together about the Jeff story. I think it's more the nature of journalism today actually. They got their tag line: "Kate Gosselin dating a millionaire!" and now it's on to the next gossip.
Actually, I think if it were specifically pointed out to them, with verified sources, about Jeff's shady history, most would publish it. If I'm not mistaken when this story first broke several months ago some of them DID publish a few things from his history.
I'm not suggesting anyone should alert the media of our findings, but I'm saying if someone did, and they could easily verify it all and didn't have any legal concerns with publishing it, I'd bet they'd run it.
Tabloid journalism moves a mile a minute these days. The pressure to get something else is tremendous. The sort of in depth journalism of the past is not going to happen on a D list reality star's 2 minute story from last week. They'd be doing it at the expense of the next big headline and that's what gets you fired. I find myself sort of defensive of the state of journalism these days. There was a news cycle when I was in journalism, and the cycle allowed you the luxury of going down rabbit holes and chasing after rainbows that may or may not pan out. I imagine being a journalist today you're under such pressure to constantly have new and active tweets and stories, almost 24/7, that any time you used to have delving deeper is now a luxury. You'd probably have to take time off these days to chase some in depth story down multiple threads. Truly.

Right, but they don't have time or access to figure out what that number really means and how much Jeff is actually worth. It would be hard to take a peek at his personal bank accounts. It would not be at all surprising if he were only drawing a salary of 300,000 or so. Hardly a millionaire. They need to explain look this is what the business is supposed to be worth, Lord knows what the individuals part of it are worth, we don't have the first clue.

Opinions differ. Some of the share tankers think every cent should go back into the business when it's in its infancy. Mark routinely talks about living like a college student while starting his businesses. He is a billionaire now, so the strategy worked out for him.
Of course, they are talking about start ups. They're talking about their first year or so. We are not talking about some huge company and not drawing a salary. That would be silly. In any case, I'm sure Jeff draws a salary, but it can't be $30 million.

Milo and the sheep have the nerve to call out the non-fans for being busybodies when, in fact, they want to know what Kate is doing, what the kids are up to, what's for dinner, where they went on their vacation, ad nauseam. She is at it already today, butting in and defending Kate/Mady on the lack of Zorro posts.
I have never seen such hypocrisy. The sad thing is that I really doubt if they have any self-awareness. I wonder if this hypocrisy carries through to the "real life" and it's just not something common to their Twitter/cyber world where they can hide behind their assumed identities, say whatever they want and not risk looking like fools there because nobody really knows them.

This is the first I've seen of pics of Kate and her BF. Interesting. She can turn the charm on and off, which is how she can get a guy IMHO. Men get blinded by looks sometimes. She did the next best thing she could have, which was to trot Hannah out for the photo at the run. It was so blatantly obvious what she was doing. I know! What do they expect Hannah to do, call a press conference? She's not on social media, according to her mother, so she can't exactly make an announcement. But her situation signals a change in the dynamics of the G household. They kids are finally getting old enough to speak out. They are able to make up their own minds about whether they want to film. Kate is losing control. She can't shut them up forever. Hannah is the first, but she won't be the last. Just wait til the kids come of age! It's really going to hit the fan then, and there's nothing Kate can do to stop it.
The smartest thing Kate could do right now is take a step back and let her family fade into obscurity. Otherwise, future revelations will get huge publicity. She claims that she can't provide for the kids without a show, but if she has set herself up in a lifestyle she cannot maintain without exploiting her kids, then she has nobody to blame but herself for everything that comes out in the future.
Kate can try to trot out happy happy happy nothing-to-see-here pics but I don't see the point of trying to win the court of public opinion when the only thing that matter is the court of LAW.

Cara has always struck me as the one who wants out, and knows her mother's true motives. But, I imagine she feels pressure from both her mother and Mady to keep both the filming and the lifestyle going.
The dysfunction in this household, all to keep their mother famous, will stay with them for life. Sad.

My heart goes out to these girls for having to live in such a dysfunctional household under the control of a mother whose mental maturity hasn't progressed beyond age 12, or 14 max. When a parent has no idea how to parent and serve as a role model, it's certainly not the child's fault. Children learn what they live, and sadly, what they are learning from Kate will not have a positive outcome in their emotional development and maturity.
These kids don't deserve verbal abuse. What they need is for their mother to get therapy to help her cope with her anger over the divorce, learn how to parent and respect their wishes when one or more doesn't want to film, and above all else, stop this horrible parental alienation and make co-parenting work for the sake of the children.

Josh Duggar of the TLC hit reality show 19 Kids and Counting was named in a police report as the “alleged offender” in an underage sexual abuse probe, In Touch magazine is reporting exclusively.
The charge being pursued while Josh was a minor was sexual assault in the fourth degree, multiple sources who have seen the police report and are familiar with the case told In Touch. According to the report, Josh was brought into the Arkansas State Police by his father, Jim Bob, who said he caught him leaving a young girl’s bedroom and “learned something inappropriate happened,” one source said.

A bizarre turn of events prevented police and prosecutors from finishing their investigation and possibly prosecuting. The state trooper who originally took the report about Josh shortly before 2005 never followed up. That state trooper was later convicted on child pornography charges and is serving a 56-year prison sentence.

When the state trooper ran into trouble, someone from the Arkansas State Police alerted the Child Abuse Hotline about the Duggar situation that had been sitting inactive. That’s when the Crimes Against Children Division and Springdale Police Department got involved. By then the three-year statute of limitations had passed and it would not have been possible to pursue prosecution of Josh if the allegations warranted, so the investigation was discontinued. “A technicality prevented any further action,” a source familiar with the case told In Touch. “That’s been the biggest regret in all of this.” (The statute of limitations has since been lengthened.)
Sgt. Darrel Hignite — identified by multiple sources as the officer who led the investigation into the allegations about Josh — told In Touch: “I can’t comment or discuss [this case] because of the sensitive nature and because it involved a juvenile.”

The rumour I read is Josh was curious and/or was sexually abusing one of or more than one of his sisters. His punishment was to confess to his parents & family and ask God & his sisters for forgiveness, and that it was not to happen again and that was the end of it. There was no mention of Jimbob taking Josh to the police. There also was a rumour flying around back then, that the Duggars had an older daughter,(older than Josh, who was excommunicated from the family, cause she did not go along with the family ideas on life. Josh is 27. This happened in 2005 which would have made him 17. Certainly older than what's appropriate for a "playing doctor" or "touching a knee" scenario. If it was two young people not following the Duggar chastity code, I would imagine the results would have been prayers, lectures, more prayers & an early engagment. But JimBob apparently felt it was serious enough to take outside of their tight family circle. And according to the article, the police didn't laugh about an over-reacting father - it says they were considering sexual assault charges but the statute of limitations ran out.
In any case, did the Duggar parents honestly think that this information would never come out once they put their family in the media limelight? The TV show started just a few years later, so I would imagine the police inquiry was still fairly fresh in their minds.
I do not understand how parents can put their children in the path of media scrutiny especially knowing that there is such a huge skeleton in the closet just waiting to be found.

He strikes me a mostly a con-man who's gotten by on his good looks. He can really pass for the country club set (well, if he cleaned up) and fool people into thinking he must be successful because of flash, not substance.
Happens all the time.
Again, I see no evidence that he's actually very wealthy.
I know wealthy people and everything about them is palpable, especially their well-earned career success. I can point to their education, provable resume, companies they've worked for or founded, etc.

The only thing I'd worry about is if HE is trying to swindle HER, and ever gets access to monies and property that the children should have.
Strangely--or not--most wealthy people I know are very guarded about their money. Almost stingy. Definitely hoarding it. That's how they got to be wealthy, they had enough sense not to piss away what they had, which allowed them to build upon it and amass even more. Narcissist would never do bottle service. Never! Unless someone else was paying for it. When shopping, whether grocery shopping or getting something for the kids, we were always instructed to look for sales and deals or buy in bulk. I never had permission to buy some specialty item or other splurge. We drank Tropicana orange juice and ate Foster farms chicken because it was on sale that week.

You know, despite myself I'm developing the same concerns. She's a big girl but it doesn't mean that if I see huge red flags in a relationship I'm not concerned for the woman no matter who she is. I'm also concerned for the kids. Kate may be sitting on a lot of money that would be better saved up for her and her children's future. I'm concerned this guy may have her funneling her money into some dumb project with him that could very well go nowhere. I've had concerns about narcissist's questionable relationships too (they also gravitate toward taking up with millionaires with ulterior motives) and that is because even though they are a damaging person we still have a friendship, I still love them and their kids and will always want what's best for them. That's called being a grown up.
The sad part about it is I haven't seen a single fan express any concern or worry about this odd situation. Why are we always the ones showing any genuine concern for this woman? The "haters"?

Tomatoes, your post brought back a great memory for me. It was my ds's Sr. year in football and he had a great game, scored and did some major blocking and plays. We won. After the game, I went to the HH diner to get something to eat. It was fairly crowded, with hometown people. Just a little later, he walked in, people recognized him and the place went wild, clapping, hollering his last name, whistling.
It was so incredible, I was so proud of him that night! Even though we had a bunch of lemons thrown at us at the time, we just grabbed some and made some lemonade and boy does that cold lemonade taste good!

I compare them to the "Real Housewives-rich" and people who actually are wealthy.

This is like a doctor saying he's had experience in the medical field since he was 13 because in 7th grade he volunteered to pass out cookies at a blood drive.
To answer what birth order Josh is, he is first born. Michelle & JimBob were married 4 years before Josh was born. Michelle lost a baby, after Josh was born, then she had twins, who are 3 years younger than Josh.
As, I posted earlier, what I read is that Josh was messing with his younger sisters, for a couple of years. I had not read that JimBob, took the kid to the police. The family just dealt with it as confusion & forgiveness to God and his sisters, and that it would not happen again or anymore. And that was the end of it.
Those life resumes are funny. Reminds me of someone who has property out in the country, rusted out old cars, sheds, barns, junk laying around, the more the merrier. He has a lot of stuff, but really worth almost nothing.
Maybe Jeff Millionaire is using TFW to get her money, because maybe it is finally time that the rooster has finally come home to roost, as in reaping what you have sown. She has a second book too, and in that one's bio she touts her business experience and lists herself as CFO of the following companies: Gill Media, Music City News Publishing, Dreamstime.com, Nature's Youth, Inc., Octagon Sports Nutrition, LLC, and Fortunato Partners, Inc.
Coincidently (or not) Music City News Publishing, for whom she lists herself as CFO in her second book, was the publisher of her first book. Guess who is the CEO of MCNP? Jeff Prescott. Prescott is also involved in Dreamstime, Nature's Youth, and Octagon Sports.
That is a convoluted mess of companies.

Jeff Prescott was quoted in a Nashville Business Journal article that Bill Gates was interested in the company and Prescott turned down a buyout offer from Microsoft because he thought it was too low. He refused to say how much Microsoft offered, but he valued the company at $25 - $30 million. However, a correction to the article says Prescott "misspoke" and there was no Microsoft buyout offer. At what point do you think it is a good idea to say the richest man in America is interested in your company and think nobody is going to follow up on your lie?
Interestingly, the Dreamstime Wikipedia entry says "In 2005 the company turned down a buyout offer from Microsoft" and references the article with the retraction. The entry is obviously written by someone affiliated with the company and is even flagged by Wikipedia as written like an advertisement. Whoever wrote that entry deliberately included that lie.
Dishonesty is looking very common in dealings involving Jeff Prescott. Looks like Kate has found a perfect match.

In Touch has exclusively learned that Jon and Kate Gosselin are headed to court in June for custody of 11-year-old daughter Hannah.
“It’s possible the court will make a decision before the June hearing,” says an insider close to the case, “But if not, then everything will be decided then.”

As In Touch first reported Jon is seeking full custody of Hannah after she confessed that she was afraid of her mother and didn’t want to go home to her during a visit with her father in late April.
Things don’t seem to be getting any better at home with Kate.
“She took off for four days last week,” the insider reveals to In Touch. “She left the kids with the nanny. Kate is supposed to give Jon first right of refusal to take care of the kids when she goes away and she didn’t."

Cute picture of Hannah in the basement, sitting on one of the treadmills. This had to have been when she went to the Kentucky Derby. How horrible to not give them the phone number to contact her. No wonder they were scared. I hope the judge really lets her have it for not complying with the court order of Jon having first right of refusal. She has done it so many times, please God don't let her get by with it this time.

Surely the judge or a court appointed advocate will interview H (if it already hasn't been done) to determine whats in the best interest of this child.

I wish Jon good luck with his custody hearing in June. I also hope that the Court will find Kate in contempt of court for not following the court's order that she allow Jon right of first refusal. This is unfortunately a common problem in custody cases. Just like Kate, many parents out of spite will not honor the "right of first refusal." But to leave and not give the children a way to contact her? Did she at least give the nanny a contact number or an idea of where she was going? Also, why wouldn't her normal cell phone number work? Did she turn it off?

Anon/Leslie, the Jenner girls have really acted terribly in social media, especially, Kylie and they have bad reputations for that. So when they go out to public events they are going to get booed. If you are a class act and act like somebody even in tragic circumstances in your life that are out of your control, you will receive respect. Sure they could. In family law the judge can change custody before the final hearing if he or she wants to. The judge always has that power, and it happens all the time. Emergency custody orders are often made before all the evidence is taken. That's because family court is about doing what's best for the child. It's hard to explain to a crying parent how a judge could do that without hearing their evidence, but it's the law.
