Better Business Bureau (BBB) has 25 complaints against Dreamstine. Reading the complaints say the same thing. The company repeatedly charges them over and over without authorization.
Given that the 'facts' as presented in the media are correct (the children left with a nanny and no way they can contact their mother, I'd like to ask Admin. if the judge is liable to interview the nanny to get her take on what transpired or, is she considered off limits due to the fact she was employed by TFW and likely signed a CA.

I've been reading this stuff on Jeff Jones Prescott, and while everything may be on the up and up, although padded, there's just something about this that doesn't sit right with me. Call it a gut feeling, I don't know, but it's enough to put up my antennae as snake oil salesman comes to mind. I just hope that Kate doesn't get bamboozled in all of this. I really think that she's vulnerable when it comes to business and investments.

To answer what birth order Josh is, he is first born. Michelle & JimBob were married 4 years before Josh was born. Michelle lost a baby, after Josh was born, then she had twins, who are 3 years younger than Josh.
As, I posted earlier, what I read is that Josh was messing with his younger sisters, for a couple of years. I had not read that JimBob, took the kid to the police. The family just dealt with it as confusion & forgiveness to God and his sisters, and that it would not happen again or anymore. And that was the end of it.

Again, Josh was not a child. And the quote from the police officer wasn't "didn't happen" but more like 'can't comment because minors were involved'. The Duggars are not commenting at all - if this was an untruth about my kid (who now has young daughters) I would be forcefully denying the story. They aren't even spinning.
Again, a point I made earlier is that it is absolutely unfair for parents who desire celebrity to put their children in the position of having terrible stories told about them in the media - true or not.

As for the Josh sex thing, as I posted earlier, it was rumoured. At the time I took it as a grain of salt. The Duggars have such a weird belief system, it is hard to tell what they consider inappropriate. They tell their kids, that if a woman is wearing shorts, she is defrauding a male. Stuff we take as normal, like wearing shorts, tight pants, pants, swim wear, etc. they think it defrauds the males. For all we don't know the kids could have been wrestling, and Jimbob walked in on it. Or maybe Josh walked in on one of his sisters in the bathroom. They were living in a 3-4 bedroom house with about 14-15 kids then. But then we are talking about JimBob, who to me is over sexed, he is still trying to get Michelle pregnant. So who knows what was going through JimBobs mind at that time. But that is what I read it was one or more of his sisters, and JimBob & Michelle handle it, by praying to God for forgiveness, and the police were never mentioned. Whether it happen or Jimbob over reacted, I don't know, it was 2005. And nothing more was said on it, till now. The family and people then, moved on. I still don't know what to believe. That family is so weird. To me.

The right of first refusal has been a rule she consisently disobeys. How much longer is the judge (I assume it's the same one?) going to put up with her antics. She's set a clear pattern of long term disobedience regarding custody as well. (I don't know why some of the kids weren't going to Jon's, but Kate is, by law, supposed to send all the kids to Jon during this custody time, regardless if the kids want to go or not. (unless there's some sort of neglect or abuse while at Jon's.)

You think she could unilaterally make that decision if their father was willing to take them? I wonder. I tend to doubt she would be willing to spend any more on their education than she already is--even though it most probably is coming out of their own shares of the TLC largesse and not her personal pocket.
It will be very interesting to see how this plays out, although I don't see Jon's odds of succeeding as being very good.
I used to think TFW would get rid of the boys the fastest. But

I think more than likely she could be just hard to reach when she's not with the kids. We know how she goes absolutely twitter silent, without fail, when she's away. We do know that she once said she doesn't talk to her kids on the phone when she's away, she prefers they text. She said that when she was in L.A. for DWTS. At the time most of us were shaking our heads. The kids were so little then and it's hard for a kid that young to have a relationship over text messages. A kid that young needs a CALL from Mommy and to hear their parent's voice.
If the kids were angry about her lack of contact with them or resentful of her new relationship with this boyfriend who doesn't seem all that interested in her kids, I can see how they might exaggerate "Dad, Mom's not picking up her phone" into "Mom won't even give us her NUMBER." Watch out, Kate, because kids turn and they can be pretty manipulative at this age if they don't like something, not necessarily to your benefit.

The more that is dug up about this Jeff Prescott, the shadier he sounds. No joke, he and Kate are a good match. But the children should not be around him. As to the Josh Duggar rumors, a "sin in the camp" rumor has been swirling for years, but never with any credible backup. None of the other 18 kids were allowed any privacy. However, I don't get a perv vibe from him. He seems to love his wife and kids. During the mother's day episodes I believe I saw both of the twins C&M having braces.

I lived in Berks County until I was 24. I still end up there about once a week. It's not that many miles. However, 422 is an amazingly awful mess right now so the drive is worse. There are so many road projects. They not only turned half of Rt 422 into one lane; they closed a lot of alternatives, also. Soon I'll need a helicopter. There's a FB group called 422 Sucks which helps keep us to date. One night I was watching the Channel 6 news. The traffic reporter said there was a car fire on 422 near KOP. He said normally Rt 23 would be the alternate but that's closed so you could try Ridge Pike. His voice trailed off because we all know that road is already packed. Then he said there was a stuck train blocking Main St in Royersford. He pretty much shrugged and said he had no advice. It's bad when the traffic reporters have just given up hope.

Kate has to be one of the most bizarre mothers I've ever seen. When she and Jamie left her crying kids behind in PA while they filmed an immature girlie getaway in NYC, it made me sick.
Sick to see Cara crying, knowing that she was heartbroken about her parents' divorce, left there with no comfort whatsoever.

Long time reader, first time poster and I've just got one question if I may. Redbird, why do you (and others) always say that when the kids come of age they can sue TLC? Their parents (initially and later Kate) sold them up the river to TLC. If they sue anyone it should be Kate becasue if Kate hadn't signed on the dotted line the kids wouldn't have been filmed. I really don't see a lawsuit.

The sad fact is that children have SOME protection, legally, but what they do not have are RIGHTS.
I hope that when some of the kids become adults, they become advocates and change the laws in America, so that parents can be held accountable for the pain and injury they inflict on their children when they sell their lives, privacy and dignity for money and fame.
I say this for every "Mommy Blogger", "Dance Mom", Kate Gosselin, Michelle Duggar and "Little Person" out there.

The drawer button, the lovey bear, the beating of a tup in the bathroom with the wooden spoon, her verbal abuse, the threats, the potty chairs at the end of the driveway, the impaction. All on tv, exposing them with embarrassment, taunting at school, anger outbursts at school that caused 2 tups being expelled from school.
The list is a mighty long one.
I have posted over the years that TLC needs to get a SUPER FUND ready because they knew what was really going on and did nothing to stop it because of the money. They did everything under the sun to pacify that wretch to keep her happy. And they are still doing it till this day.
The kids can't help that their mother and father signed their children's lives away like that. There should be a guardian ad litem required by the state when children are going to be on a reality tv show to protect them! Or anything thing else media wise to protect the children.

Another Berks resident here, and I second this wholeheartedly. She's definitely not well-regarded around here. I also think it's worth noting that every time I (and members of my family) have come in contact with Kate, she's been terrible - yelling at someone, demanding preferential treatment, etc. The kids, on the other hand, have been really pleasant every time I've interacted with them. I give a lot of credit to Jon and the school.

I hope the girls who worked in "Kate's' Target were not exposed to any vitriol. I enjoy comments from locals since they have experienced Kate first-hand and know what is true about TFW.

I've often wondered what would have become of Kate Gosselin had she not shopped her kids on a reality tv show. I don't think she would have stuck out her nursing career because she doesn't have the compassion for fellow human beings it takes to be in the profession. And I'm pretty sure most of the kids would have been taken from her by now too because she's truly an unfit mother.
I believe her when she says her marriage to Jon would have ended even without TLC as the mistress that broke them up. No man would have been able to stick it out with that harridan longer that Jon managed to do.
If she hadn't become a d-list celebrity, I'm sure she'd have just kept latching on to men of means to support her because she certainly hasn't got the brains, the drive or any talent that would give her the wherewithal of her own to support the lavish lifestyle she lusts after.
And I doubt she would have ever wandered too far from the borders of Berks County. She would probably just be known as the town moll and someone to avoid. Kind of like she is now, only not as visible.
But, they can always sue the pants off TLC for taking their childhood and putting it in a blender and hitting the puree button.

I too am afraid that TLC is untouchable as to any lawsuits brought by former child reality tv stars. What it will take to get them to stop repeatedly exploiting children is widespread disgust by the general public, who speak with their dollars. Advertisers will be less willing to spend their money on commercials for these shows if enough people express their displeasure by boycotting their products.
Unfortunately, I don't see that happening any time soon. Most viewers do not realize the damage done to children who are on reality tv, so while they may not like Kate, they aren't going to get involved in a serious letter writing campaign/boycott of advertisers.

Anyone of age can sue anyone for anything. The question would be if it would hold up in court, if damages would be awarded or if a settlement could be reached. I think in TLC's case, it would be an uphill battle. It was the parents who signed the contract, and Kate now who continues to film. TLC's defense would be that Kate knew exactly what she was doing, she agreed to it, and the network is not responsible for any damages, either emotional or monetary that these children have suffered.
I also think that TLC will be untouchable. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if there is a "no sue" clause built in to the contract. I also believe that the reason we've never seen TFW start a YouTube channel for either herself or Mady is because TLC owns her and her contract probably prohibits her from posting videos (which may be why we've never seen the promised video of Mady's reaction to the fact that MarindaSings now follows TFWS on Twitter).

The TMZ report says the molesting started in 2002. How long did it go on? The police investigation took place in 2006. If the acts "started" in 2002, when did they end, and if these acts continued (note the word "started"), would the SOL have expired in 2006? What is the SOL on child molestation?

You've got Robert's book documenting physical abuse for years, the court filings by Jon back in 2011 alleging abuse and neglect, the letter from the school expelling the two kids, continued allegations Kate deliberately violates the custody agreement, and now allegations that Kate forces the kids to film against their wishes.
There is simply too much bad stuff already out there for there not to be even worse stuff Kate is successfully keeping out of the public eye. She is one scandal away from being in the same boat as HBB and the Duggars. TLC has got to know this and would be wise to distance themselves from her.

It was a cruel thing to do, but I put the blame on Kate. She created this situation and continues to be willing to expose her children to the horrific down sides of fame.

I agree. Jon wouldn't be laying out the massive amount of money for a lawyer and court if he wasn't sure this was true. He just wouldn't.
It would make zero sense to do what he's doing just to piss off Kate.

I'm sure TLC, with the Duggars are scrambling as we speak to come up with a plan. I see a lot of comments on Radar and others that are DEMANDING to have 19 kids cancelled for good. And after what happend with Honey Boo Boo I think TLC has very little choice but to do just that. I would also advice TLC to drop Kate and her 8, especially in light of these new allegations about abuse that have recently come out. If TLC's execs were smart, I would stop any involvement of Kate and her broad going forward.
I don't watch TLC, but I also don't have my head stuck in the sand so I do know a little about the Duggar crazy.
I saw a commercial for a current show, Jim Boob is talking about Michelle, how before they married, she would mow the lawn in her bikini! And they kissed before marriage.
