Independence Day is a day to honor and celebrate the birth of America, and the American spirit. One such couple that exemplifies just that were Philadelphians Gilbert and Eleanor Kraus.
In 1939, Gilbert, a lawyer, and Eleanor, who stayed home with their two small children, were very concerned about the impending war in Europe. The Krauses, Jewish themselves, traveled to Nazi occupied Germany. There, they orchestrated the rescue of 50 Jewish children back to the United States. Many of the children are still here and alive today.
The Kraus' bravery has been called a "quiet act of decency and humanity on the eve of one of modern history’s darkest chapters." I agree, totally, but just lately I get the sense that Goody really does not care about Kate, but more that she is using Jon as a vehicle for her personal anger issues about her own life. With her it's all Jon, all the time. And I think that if there were another celeb with a nasty divorce, with a Twitter following like Kate, she could easily transfer her bile. Thoughts and prayers to all the people on the Boeing 777 that crashed upon landing at SFO. The flight was from Korea and all details not known. Apparently something happened when they tried to land the plane.
There are injuries/burns and reportedly 2 fatalities, but lots of people actually walked away.
The plane reportedly flipped over, but landed on its belly and the chutes deployed, allowing for the many survivors.
OT: everyone on kayak trip, we are heading north up the Pamlico sound now. We can pit in at REAL Watersports just ahead on the right and go up to the grill,.get a refreshing beverage and talk to some of the Canadians who are always down here.

After we get out of the kayaks, we can head to Fish Heads Bar and Grill on the Outer Banks Fishing Pier and look at the ocean.
I can't imagine Jon on DWTS. He always seemed quite awkward and embarrassed about being in the spotlight or doing anything musical. I cringed when Kate made him dress up and go caroling.

Milo is so attached to Kate because that relationship gives her an identity. She is sweet little Milo, Kate's friend and most ardent supporter. I think that in her real life, she is nobody special. I am saying to be wary of any info coming from him, because his credentials are so suspect. It is actually interesting to read his articles and watch his YouTube episodes--of which there are many. Most of the background check sites have very clear TOS agreements and strict rules on how you may use the information you find. Right before RWA closed, there was some chatter about a former RWA poster bringing some type of action against CJ. Some of the sheeple tweeted CJ about it or asked her on her blog, I don't remember which. CJ didn't deny it, but she did say it was baseless or frivolous or something to that effect.
I am not understanding the "So that means he's not a narcissist?" question. I am not saying that--he claims he is. The 'victims' are the ones he describes as reverse narcissism. There are other, legitimate sources of info out there. Anyone here is free to believe anything they want.
It is amazing how he has managed to infiltrate the Internet with his articles, books, etc. If anything, he is a good study of a narcissist, just not a typical one. This is, of course, just my opinion. I stick to scientific and professional journals for my information.
I was wondering if if were something like that. I mean she met the G kids once and thinks they are her's. She "misses" them. But then I wondered what the chances are that she met more than one public personality who seems to know her. The concert makes sense.

Let me begin with stating that the term "rare treat" always brings me a wave of slight nausea. Kate looked square into that camera and stated that crab legs were "a rare treat." At that point in 2008, they had already made $1,000,000 and were well on their way to making almost another mil. Rare treat my a$$.
Last year at this time, every other tweet was someone begging for a cookbook from Kate. One poorly selling cookbook has been on pre sale since March. Now, every other tweet is begging @TLC to bring Kate and the kids back. I don't follow twitter or even twazzup, are these tweets from established twitter users or one tweet bots?

So, he may be a narcissist, but much of what he says comes from a psychopathic mind. He has been masterful in dominating the internet and luring people into his inside-out, upside-down mindset. This is what is know as gaslighting.

Oh for cripes sake. There was a direct question about CJ. I replied with my recent observations, which were from public declarations made by CJ herself. Not sure where any "harm" could come of that. My point was that there actually seemed to be some substance there, instead of the usual tiresome RWA-sheeple bloviating. I posted with the realization that if the comment was not ok, the mod would not put it through.
I am well aware of why RWA was shut down. It was way too fast and loose with just about everything. One of Donald Trump's former pageant contestants owes him $5 million dollars because of business he lost due to libelous statements she made about him on social media. No one is anonymous or immune behind their keyboards. However, answering a direct question about an individual and offering statements the individual actually made, is not a violation of any law that I am aware of. Admin has rules here but she gives them wide latitude re: the daily, hourly micro-dissection of Milo. I have often wanted to make a statement such as you did, pleading with Admin to not let this blog turn into the Milo blog, but the respect I have for Admin and the other posters here prevented me from doing so. It's not my blog, it's not my call, and I would never insult another poster because they are discussing Milo or a topic "I" don't approve of. Because "I" have the choice to scroll on by or log off.

Ha! I knew it! Kate is grifting for a beach vacation, right on cue. It's a little late this year. Last year she was complaining about how her kids need "sun and sand" months earlier. Of course, this time she reminds the sheeple that there's still time. So, hurry, sheeple! Get those credit cards ready and get to work! Kate wants to go to the beach.
Funny, if my kids spent every day, all summer long, in the pool, they wouldn't want to go to the beach. They'd want to do something else if all they did was swim at home. What about that trip to Paris that Joel wanted? We know Kate has the money, so why deny the kids a trip like that?

The mother still has time to hit the gym in the morning, home school the younger kids, have a vegetable garden, give the kids piano and violin lessons, and buys organic produce. Seven of the children play baseball in the summer. She keeps an organizational chart for her and the kids. They live in a five bedroom, four bathroom home and they have hens in their backyard from which they collect nine eggs every other day. This sounds so much like Kate.

The documentery cleared up my questions. It was stated that all psychopaths are narcissists, but all narcissists are not psychopaths. It really was interesting. He certainly has self-awareness, which is not consistent with NPD. His brain scan showed a complete lack of firing in two areas of his brain connected with emotion.

Yes this tour guide was exhausted from all the paddling. So I was on the beach today under the umbrella, with a good book, snoozing and periodically getting in the water and beach combing. Maybe next weekend I will have recovered and we can go to Huntington Beach State Park in South Carolina. That has interesting history and lovely natural features too.
So much misinformation on Kate's Twitter. Now they are arguing about who owned the journals and community property.

Let's face it. After her stay at that gorgeous beach house in NC courtesy of TLC, only a free big beach house will do for the queen. Oh, and let's not forget the mandatory babysitter/ driver/ cook....unpaid, of course. I bet some doofus will grant her twitter wish like last year. I suspect her tweet about how much work she did the other day and that she was "tired" was an attempt to get sympathy and give her a free beach vacation to relax. Very manipulative.

I read here as often as time allows and always enjoy everyone's comments. My family went to Huntington Beach several times for our family vacation when I was a child. I remember learning about Atalaya and it sparked many conversations. I hope to be able to take my son there one day. Maybe I should grift for it on twitter.

I thought the beach house was a rental available through a company that advertised on Coupon Cabin. Wasn't that discussed as something that led to her downfall on CC? That it was against company rules to take freebies?

That's probably because they weren't. Where do they come up with these things? PA does not have "legal separation" that is recognized by the courts.

I read that article, and wow--music lessons, sports, home schooling. Kate would never put that much effort into raising her kids. And the neighbor kids over to play? Can you even imagine? Kathy (the mom in the article) is inspiring. She truly does it all for her kids. Kate? Not so much...

When I used to make the PB & banana and/or apple sandwich for my son I'd always drizzle a little honey on it and sprinkle with cinimon sugar. It was also very tasty on a cinimon raisin bread. Hi beach lover, I love Huntington Beach State Park, it is such a refreshing break from Myrtle Beach and the crowds there. The beach is gorgeous and unspoiled.

This is truly insulting to the thousands of people every day who struggle with this. Many people every day try very hard to be happy, to put their best foot forward, to make good choices and surround themselves with people and things that should make a person happy. And yet they're still not happy. I think you can do the best you can to make positive choices that will bring happiness, but I think whether happiness will flow from that is out of our control. It's a chemistry thing. I resent the implication that if you're not happy you're probably just not choosing to do so so shame on you. It's ridiculous. I'm surprised a nurse wouldn't know more about depression and be more sensitive.
This talk about Kate and other NPDs and how Kate won't admit she's sick nor will anyone else with it begs the question can NPD be treated or cured?

Didn't see this mentioned, but does anyone think Kate posted her sympathy for the victims of the Asiana airplane crash to counter-balance the 'racist' Asian photograph? Hate to say that, but it struck me that she rarely knows what's going on in the news. I do feel horrible for those passengers myself- so many with bad burns.
Amateur video of the crash is out but be forewarned it's pretty horrifying. I am amazed only two people died. And now they're saying one only died because they were hit by an emergency vehicle???
OT: this edition of Big Brother on CBS has sparked Sommer interesting discussion and commentary. Fans of the sow who keep up on internet forums have known for years: the edited show that CBS broadcasts three evenings a week differs tremendously from the live feed that is a paid subscription and that fans can access 24/7. This season fans can vote on giving a special power to one hamster, oh I mean houseguest!, every week. On the live feed, several houseguests have used racist and derogatory terms for other houseguests, and displayed their racist attitudes in general. Seriously, don't they realize the cameras are on 24/7? They have to wear microphone packs 24/7, that's a clue! Anyway, live feed fans were challenging CBS to show some of the prejudices of the pretty hamsters on the broadcast show, and they did on Sunday nights show. I think the producers struck a good balance between showing some prejudicial statements and how it is affecting other players. I am going to keep watching, because it is an interesting test tube of personalities and attitudes and game play.
I love one personality Mc Crae. He is really a pizza delivery guy, and had been honest about that. Quite a few if the other hamsters are convinced he has some more prestigious career and is just lying. its funny when he gets quizzed about what he does for real.

Then someone suggested to her that they start a petition at change.org against Jon being on DWTS. I wouldn't be surprised if she actually does it.

I think it goes beyond that. Much more is needed than just anger management. She really appears to be so consumed by hatred that some very intense therapy is needed. There's some serious mental illness going on there. The non-fans shouldn't poke her. Her psychosis (if that's what it is) really isn't funny. She's one disturbed person. Kate really needs to distance herself from her instead of tweeting her that she appreciates her support. When Kate acknowledges her, it only fuels the fire.
