Mind boggling that a grown woman with 8 small children wouldn't have protection.

&&&

It IS mind boggling not to mention reckless. Geico towing is $14 bucks a year. $14 bucks! Triple A is a great option too and includes a few more bells and whistles. What if some of the kids were in the car? They could have been sideswiped sitting there on the narrow shoulder while Kate cried for three minutes then uses her phone-a-friend option. Shoulda asked the audience!!! Can you imagine the friend, lol? Uhhh, so your car stalled. Get someplace SAFE and call a tow truck? You really need to call me for THIS?

She should have AAA or towing from her insurance and the number programmed into her phone ready to dial in 2 seconds flat. She should have her AAA number memorized or at least handy in her wallet to whip out ready to go. It's astounding how helpless a 38 year old woman responsible for eight children is. It's not like your car will never break down, this happens to everyone. New, gently used, used, clunker, at some point you will need a tow truck.

I as an adult do not cry at life's little hassles. I really only cry for a terminal illness or tragedy etc, and ok, a sad movie at times. (plus The Bible series- parts of it.)

**

Same. I don't know any other adult criers. Cry over serious family tragedies or occasionally the movies if it's really sad.

Wouldn't this be normal? Are there a lot of adults who cry over such simple things as a bit of car trouble and I'm just not aware of it? If I saw someone with a stalled car crying I would either assume they are on their last five dollars in their bank account and this will break them, or they are unstable.

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said...

She really is out of control. Correct, she just retweeted a comment with the the F word and A word.

It was a vile and inappropriate tweet but now you've just called even more attention to it and splashed the F and A word over a Christian account that kids read.

Widowed Young said...

Wow-you take a little time off to spend time with your kids over their spring break and all he** breaks loose! I have also been having bad eyestrain headaches so have to use my computer time wisely-especially since my job is all on the computer. Does anyone have any idea's for blog reading headaches? I am in my mid 40's and have never worn glasses so I know it is probably time for a check up.

Can someone please do a quick synopsis for me on what has been going on with this BV situation? I am so confused and just can't catch up on all the postings-how did it start (lawsuit talk), who is asking for apologies, is Kate still directly involved-I have so many questions! A timeline explanation might help. Thank you!

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said...

What video of you are they talking about I must have missed it.

&&&&

You and MOST people missed it chef. Until Bullyville decided to dig it up from the grave. Why not just tell me they are aware of it and ask me in a respectful manner to apologize? Or better yet Kate could have contacted me if it bothered her. I'm sure I would have apologized if I knew she even knew about it! Why repost it? Now tons of people who never even heard of it or saw it have. I don't get it. I guess I don't get these tactics at all. They seem to make things worse not better.

Kate still hasn't so much as acknowledged the apology, I don't even know if she knows about it, and she blocked me on twiter for no reason (I never tweeted her) so I can't tweet it to her. I'm really finding it hard to believe she even cares. Makes the whole thing seem an exercise in futility. Classy people acknowledge an apology. I did not do it for that purpose or expect a reaction, however it's what she should do.

She won't buy car insurance to keep them safe.

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said...

You know what's funny is I HAVE thought about a class action before just in a hypothetical manner and I think we've even briefly discussed it here but it was over what Dwindle brought up, all the church people they mislead into giving them money meanwhile they were signing contracts with Lane worth hundreds of thousands of dollars for one weekend's worth of work. I actually think that is a lawsuit that might go somewhere. This one? Gimme a break. And I don't think they should call it a lawsuit until they file if they ever do (please!). Pony up and file or don't call yourself a lawsuit. You can say we are gathering people and information in the hopes to FILE a suit but you don't get the right to call yourself a lawsuit yet until the filing is accepted.

Admin, she is losing it. She's in this so deep that she'll never get of it. There must be someone...anyone...who can intervene. Where's Jamie? Deanna? I can't believe that there isn't one person in her life who can't persuade her to get the help that she needs. I worry about the children.

Makes the whole thing seem an exercise in futility.
---------------------------
And that in a nutshell probably sums up the feelings of most adults after having an interaction with Kate Gosselin.

I must say, when I come here and see the cartoon of Kate and the title of this post "Kind Hearted Woman" I can't help but wonder if there is one single person who has not collected a paycheck off Kate that would use the term "Kind Hearted Woman" to describe her. Just one unpaid person. Anyone out there?!

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said...

Wasn't she just telling the group of minors helping her out with hacking a month ago that she would appreciate it if the not curse? As I recall they got all bent out of shape that she scolded them for that. Now she splashes the F word on her account? The hell???

I can't believe I'm even asking this, the whole thing is so bizarre and out of this world. I can't think of a single other celebrity in the history of celebrities who has been this dysfunctional without ending up in jail.

Where are our mental health experts? Is this what a nervous breakdown looks like? Serious question.

LoveMyGrandsons said...

Admin, please don't lose sleep over this whole thing with the video that you DELETED oaver 2 years ago. As I said, I never saw it, but it was up for such a short time, and then you deleted it based on the comments and opinions from the readers here. You did the right thing, and now some idiot wanting to affiliate themselves with Kate (who knows why anyone would want to do that!), is bringing it to light again 2 years later.

Although you could have ignored this cheap tactic, you didn't and gave a sincere apology. I know it is sincere because this video was deleted a short time after it was posted, and I've been here almost 2 years and never heard of it until now.

Let it go, Admin, and ignore it from this point forward. You have nothing more to explain. If the G kids see it in the future, it won't be because of you, it will be because of Bullyville. They are to blame for this fiasco, not you.

Admin, she most likely never looks at her insurance policy. She probably has no idea what she has or doesn't have. I bet if you ask her how much her deductible is, she'd say, "What's a deductible?"

If I recall correctly, Jon's tweeting pattern was pretty sporadic. He would pop in every few days or so, tweet one or two things, then disappear. I never recall him on for any extended period of time. He was also dead silent when he had his kids or working or doing anything that occupied his time. He was more of a pop in when I'm not busy tweeter (i.e. normal).

I say this because I really highly doubt that his tweeting pattern fits into any of the "socks" they think could be him. I find the idea ridiculous.

Although the documentary didn't address the history of Native Americans and/or the Rez, at least on this blog, people are willing to learn more. Perhaps it was unintentional, but in showing Robin's story, they did show an example of the learned helplessness that is the result of generations on the Rez!

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said...

She should look at that policy once in awhile, since if you have the money for the deductible socked away as she surely does and are a safe driver, it often makes very good financial sense to keep your deductibles as high as possible. The default plan they present you is probably going to keep them more in the middle. It's amazing the sheer level of helplessness she freely admits to. Wouldn't you be embarrassed?

RT @Noreenj @Kateplusmy8 you are a fucking asshole for abusing your dogs. Why would u even get dogs with all those kids? #idiot @BullyVille

I can't believe Kate is forwarding this tweet to bullyville. Appalling of the highest order. This woman is expressing her comment; it is not a threat nor she is stalking Kate. It is simply her negative comment about how she feels Kate takes care of her dogs. In fact this is the first tweet that I think this woman has made to Kate. Therefore, she isn't even "harassing" her in anyway.

So, now if anyone simply tweets a negative remark to Kate, Kate will forward it to her henchman so "he can take care of it for her". Again, appalling that she can't tolerate reading a negative comment about herself now.

And there is a video of Kate giving a talk about how her 2 dogs were given away (2009) because they had chewed through their metal cage that they were locked up in at night. Yes, Kate that is abusive treatment of your dogs. And you are a freaking butthole for treating your dogs like that.

Remona without you keeping us grounded I think I would have turned this documentary off. I'm glad you were around to help keep things in perspective. Especially with the ICWA issues she was having. I can say I have never heard of a tribe wreck so much havoc out here. I think the tribes are better organized and more powerful in the midwest.

I did recently read an appeal out of I believe San Diego in which a NA foster child was being carted some 120 miles away from his parents so he could be with a NA foster family. Obviously this made it very difficult for them to see him. Our wise appellate court said that wasn't fair to the parents and they didn't care how much the law required placement with NA foster parents that child needed to be closer to his parents. To me that seemed like a very fair and just ruling. Culture is very important but not at the expense of not seeing your mommy and daddy. I worry what would have happened to that case on Robin's Reservation.

Surely being scared is normal. Heck yes I was scared too. Blowing a tire felt like hitting a deer. It's the incapacitation for three minutes then being so helpless to handle the situation you have to use your phone a friend lifeline to figure out how to get out of it that is why I say she is so helpless. If she said her hand was shaking as she pulled over and immediately dialed triple A, that would be a completely different story.

I ask this seriously, what does BV expect to do to Robert? His name is already out there and I'm sure if he had any significant dirt out there the sheeple would have found it by now. Isn't he self-employed/freelance photographer? They can't get him fired. When you hire a photographer you just want to know if they can take good photos. I doubt anyone is going to care about some big blog war. What do they expect to do to him?

This is a perfect example of how this strategy is backfiring. Robert's been so quiet lately. Does anyone else really believe this all would have come out today had he not been goaded into it?

What a silly war. Just silly.

I wonder if Kate is aware that Bullyville uses tactics such as flat out lying? For instance, saying that I had some kind of lawyer tell them not to post the video?

Unless BV can somehow prove Robert made the whole thing up there's nothing they can say that would change that Kate's journals are hers. It doesn't matter who released them, the bad behavior from her is the same. I don't care about Robert's skeletons no more than I care what any other writer's background is. Robert is not the story.

Silimom said...

Well, good for Robert. We'll see if anyone picks it up. Honestly, I don't think anyone really cares about Kate Gosselin except to wonder why on earth she's even still relevant.

Still, I'm glad he feels confident that he can release the book to the news media without fear of repercussion.

She has definitely been prepping for the book with her "Oh it's so nice not to be a stressed out young mom anymore" etc. (not her exact words, just the sentiment). I think she anticipates being called out on it. Just wait for the tearful confessions, the "I grew up in an abusive home. I was abused. I've worked so hard to change."

Franky good for you! I can't remember how fast 100km is but it sounds fast. :)

I've had the sense for a long time there tends to be a lot of independent, take the bull by the horns type people here. It does not surprise me it was so hard for most of us to like Robin. She was the opposite of independent. She was dependent. She did not take control of her own destiny, she let herself be blown every which way by whatever wind was blowing at the moment. Farmer's Wife was just the opposite and so many of us adored her.

Similarly, watching Kate be so helpless over a car breakdown is frustrating. I'd love to see the day when all women are capable of handling any problem that comes their way with capable, independent grace. We are no longer a gender who should be treated like something just slightly above a child and people like Kate and Robin set us back.

If you are a celeb, have some awareness and buy a good shredder or have someone dispose of your trash off sight where no one will think to look for it.

It doesn't change the fact that if someone happens to find evidence of child abuse in said trash that it shouldn't be reported.

I watched the youtube video of Kate at the Southern Women's Conference. Oh my. How the mighty have fallen. Like when she had to do a third day on The View because you know it was a career move so she had to be away from the kids that one extra day and hated it but it was a career move you know so it was necessary. For my career. You know my career because I am on my way to stardom!!!!!! and all you women sitting in the audience drooling over me, I love it! Next question? Sorry, say that again? Do I like peas or carrots? Well, depends on what's on sale! ....next question?

No wonder she thought she had it in the bag. Sitting on a stage answering inane questions from simpletons and making big cash, hell, that was easy street if I ever saw it.

I always thought the old clunker was a right of passage. It teaches kids how much money and work really go into cars. It teaches them how much money it costs just to keep up a clunker, so that you can appreciate it when you can afford something better and know how to handle the odd breakdown or other issues. And some kids don't have a car at all and that teaches them similar things like that frankly, you probably really don't NEED it. Wants versus needs.

It doesn't surprise me she didn't learn the lessons that were meant to learn by your first clunker.

The only kid who got a brand new car in my high school wrapped it around a tree. So much for that. Those that had clunkers knew you couldn't go fast enough to wrap it around a tree or the car would overheat LOL and moreover this was the only car you were getting so if you screw it up there aren't any more where that came from. Teaches you to be careful with your possessions. There are reasons parents do the things that they do. Not everything good parents do is meant to make your life difficult even if it may seem that way. I don't expect Kate to understand that when she was a teen or even into her 20's, but at 38, she should get it by now. I still have yet to hear any of her stupid examples from her "terrible" childhood that seem the least bit of an issue.

I don't know how interesting this is to anyone other than my husband, who teased me relentlessly. But, I spent several weeks going through someone's else household trash.

We live on an isolated, gravel, country road.

A citizen with no social or environmental conscience was depositing their stuffed trash bags in our ditches. Regularly. Routinely. 2-3 at a time. At the same time I was picking up their debris, I was sifting through it.

I was determined to identify the littering lawbreaker. They were equally determined not to include identifying paperwork with their junk.

It took weeks. I knew what canned foods they ate for dinner. I knew they smoked and which brand was their favorite. Gum, magazines, beer, and a penchant for licorice -- I learned it all. Trash holds many "secrets".

About week 3 there was a baby shower -- wrapping paper and newborn product packaging. Week 5 -- tiny disposable diapers. I was getting to know this family.

I figured that if I was diligent, they would eventually screw up and toss something with a name or address. They did. A prescription bottle.

I turned over my photos and documentation to the county authorities and they were fined. (More than in-town trash collection would have cost.) The problem on our road was stopped and I hope they didn't just re-locate their nasty habit to another area.

I was just frustrated enough to over-ride the revulsion of sifting through coffee grounds!

I think this is just one of the many frustrations and tensions that are created by some, in that even though it seems to me most people are more comfortable saying Native Americans, there are some NA who insist they be called Indians. I guess I don't understand it and why we can't just agree on one, much like most of Robin's life was difficult and frustrating to understand. (Thank you AGAIN Remona.)

I was very confused even as an impressionable young child when I was told by a NA to call him Indian. I didn't know what to think or do. I have remembered it forever. I can even see exactly where I was sitting and what he looked like.

Maybe Sutherland meant for us to feel confused and frustrated. Like abstract art.

Poor Kate, forced to drive clunkers and older cars in her miserable and underprivileged youth. How embarassing to have parents who also drove same. I bet they were also fully paid for. And again, let's rub the noses of her fan base, most of whom I suspect do not live lavish lives, in her resolve to only drive new or 'gently used' expensive cars. She continues on her insensitive and offensive path.

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said...

Anyone listen to Dave Ramsey? One of his biggest things is to drive a car you can afford. If that's a clunker, so be it. If that's a fiat, so be it. But he drills this into you to only get as much car as you can afford, for all kinds of various reasons.

Yes, I do bet Kate's family's cars were paid for and good for them. She seems very dissatisfied with her mediocre life and it sounds like one thing she did to rebel was as a 35 year old woman get some flashy sports car like she was having a midlife crisis.

At the end of the day, wheels are wheels. They get you from A to Z whether it's a clunker or a fiat. I'm more interested in what is at Z than what the outside of the car looks like to others watching.

Meagler said...

Yes, Kate got her gently used or new Audi and look what happened...it went BOOM! and she was very clear it wasnt her tires. Not only am I curious what the final issue was, I am curious about this car that was driving so close behind her that s he thought she had been hit. Are the highways in her area that congested?

I drove an Audi, past tense. It nickled and dimed me to death. It was used and within my " can afford" price range like mr Ramsey says...but Audi's might be fun to drive on the highway but they can be clunkers and $$$$ to fix. I got rid of it and bought a gently used but with 5 years of warrantl left Toyota! Much happier!

As a teen I drove my older sisters car, and if anyone on this blog knows me from my youth, this story is gonna be a giveaway... but, we called this car Christine, like the movie! This car liked to wait till you were driving on a dark night, no moon or stars, on a deserted highway or grid road and the LIGHTS WOULD GO OUT!!!!!!!

One time, my friend and I were headed home, and I was telling her about it, and she laughed, and then the lights went out. She thought I was spoofing her. I was never so scared as I knew we were coming up to an S in the grid and I couldnt see! Once you would slow down, and dim the brights, the lights would come back on.

It only ever did it for my sister and I, never for my dad! He wanted to believe us, but I think he thot we were nuts! My brother had some of his own wierd stories with that old car. He finally just left it parked somewhere.... it was creepy!

My parents never heard of David Ramsey, but they sure followed his advice, some 40 years prior. My father bought inexpensive cars. Period. Volkswagon beetle was his car of choice. My mom drove a Chevy Nova. And they kept their cars forever. I was fine with it. I was glad to have transportation, and it was not a competition to see whose parents had the fanciest car. If it drove, it was good. If the radio worked, it was awesome.

Dad loved to tell the story about when we first moved to Louisville, he needed a car to get to work because there was no public transportation in the suburbs. His new boss had an unneeded 1940 something Studebaker in great shape. Dad bought it for $200.00 and drove it for years. When he traded it in on the family station wagon in the late 1950's he got a $200 trade in value on it. He called it his 'free car'. It suited him perfectly. Dad was a '40's kind of guy.

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said...

I agree and you caved in much too quickly. Are you apologizing for Free Speech? Your apology just made you look guilty AND scared.

&&

Ok. The apology was between myself and the Gosselins and I believe and still do they deserved one. It's really just between us and no one else's concern, but I can't tweet Kate because I'm blocked, I won't email her because I believe she may be looking at IPs, so I had no other good way to do it but here. I specifically did not allow comments on that post for that very reason, it wasn't something that was up for discussion or opinions like normal posts. Move on.

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said...

Fido Dave Ramsey is sort of that 40's kind of advice! :) It's common sense and practical. I've been following his steps almost religiously for five years and they work. We live in a different time now than our parents did. Credit and easy money are so much more accessible. It's so much easier to get into trouble.

I like that he gets into the psychology of finance. I.e. you almost have to trick yourself into doing smart things and constantly look for little wins to motivate you. His psychology of motivation and trickery completely works with my personality.

Lulu, the reason I am not posting any negative comments about it is because I don't want the apology to turn into a debate about whether the apology should or should not have been given. It would have taken away from it and diminished it. There haven't been too many I've had to reject. Mostly yours. This is not how I typically run the blog, but this was a unique situation.

When did I ever say I didn't want to do it? I've said the opposite, I wanted to do it. I am not "complaining" I am pointing out the reality of Bullyville not on the same page as Kate who seems more concerned about her sports car than some video. I also pointed out the obvious lie Bullyville told about my "lawyer" contacting them. No one else has come forward claiming to have sent a lawyer on my behalf. If they did, please by all means say so. It goes to their overall credibility to be caught in such a ridiculous lie. They are willing to do anything, even make up stories about lawyers, to wreck havoc.

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said...

Talking about first cars takes me back. My dad had a American Motors Rambler. It was a stick shift with the stick on the column, no power anything do it drove like a truck, and before I could get my license I had to learn how to drive that thing. Dad would take me to parking lots and back roads to practice. I also had to be able to change a tire by myself and check all the fluids and do a jump start before I could get my license. I was very motivated, so I learned how to do that.
Fiats only started being sold in the USA again in 2011, so that narrows time on events in the tits bog. Fiats are really fun to drive, the new ones that is. I made the mistake of letting the dh go to an auto show by himself the year they were being rolled out. The fiat is a great car, great mileage, can haul a ton if stuff with the rear seats down, the manual transmission version is so fun to drive, its very sporty, and very reliable

I have a good tow truck story to share.

Back about 20 years ago, my ex and me and our 3 boys went shopping over 30 miles from where we lived. We had a mid 80's Ford Areostar Van, which I loved! We were on our way home and we were in town at the big intersection when the light changed to green and my ex pushed the gas and we heard this horrible sound!

What happened was the flywheel and something else went out at the same time! Traffic was getting angry because we were not moving. To our right, a city police car was at the light. He eased his car with full lights into the intersection to see what was going on.

The kids were like, WOW!

We called a tow truck, was a nice guy but he didn't have enough room for the 5 of us so, me and my youngest son who was about 6 years old stayed behind until my ex could get the van towed in and come back and get us.

We went to the Jacks Hamburgers and realized we were going to be there for a while. I noticed that there was a Dollar Gen in the little strip mall behind JH's, so me and my son walked over to the store and I bought him a coloring book, crayons, a little toy and I bought me a crossword puzzle book and just inexpensive things, I think I bought cards to occupy us with.

We took our treasures back to JH's and got a hamburger and a coke and we were there for about 3 hours. We had the best time! I would never EVER take a million dollars for that memory of my time with my son to be erased. Just like my middle son.

I had had 3 surgeries in one week and my middle son came when I had come out of recovery. I was still knocked out with the meds and what woke me up was the gurney hit the doors and that woke me up but I couldn't see. I heard my son ask the nurse if I was alright.

I said, ***** and he said yes and I said squeeze my hand and he did in 2 seconds and that gave me so much strength to fight! Will never sell.

My oldest son who was in high school loved for me to come in and tuck him in and kiss him goodnight. So glad I did. Will never sell.

kate has sold their precious moments and the bad ones for the whole world to see to the highest bidder, will someone match 1, 1 give me 2...no takers..going once, twice, Sold for 1 Billion dollars to the COMPANY MAN, with the blue suit and tie, otherwise known as TLC.

Can't believe that kate does not have AAA or road service on her car insurance!

I had it back 15 years ago and it was only a few dollars. less than 5. With 3 boys you use the towing like water. haha

kate I thought you were diligent in being cost effective in all things? It would be very cost effective to have AAA for a year instead of buying 600 dollar shoes.

Unless kate has such goooooood tax attorneys that she is able to get a deduction for them for looking for a job as a business expense.

I have some things to say: I think Kate is a hypocrite for saying she only buys ‘gentle used’ cars however she described them; and note the word ‘buys’. When they started having a regular show on TLC, the family had an OLD van, I think it was a 1997 or 1999 regular van and the passenger van was donated. Therefore they didn’t really have to buy ‘gentle used’ cars for years then luxury used cars were brought when the money started rolling in. Then Kate got a SUV and traded it for another brand new SUV. Then she got the Audi. So what’s her message then? Luxury cars break down too? Hahahah.
Is she going to apologize for the description she gave about Mr. Tow Truck Driver? Grisly? UGH! (That is katespeak as she always says that ).
The other thing is that I feel bad for the people who gave up their time, money and privacy to help the family after the tups were born, only to find out that she turned her back on them and beat the babies. They must feel they were duped into it. They were BABIES. Kate got mad when they were starting to go through the normal development stages such as climbing out of their cribs and throwing stuff just to see you pick them up. It’s called cause and effect if you have read any of the child development books and it’s a normal process—they are not doing it to be bad or annoy you! BABIES DO THAT! Babies absolutely do not have the ability to understand that crib climbing was a danger—their brain is still growing. It was something they learned they could do and were still learning various stages of development. Kate should have been thankful they were able to develop that skill.

I went to the pastebin page and I found it very disturbing. BV apparently 'triangulated' one hater's location to an apartment building. Since they could not determine which woman in the building was the hater, they posted the names of all the women in the building as well as any phone numbers and email addresses they found. This is so wrong. How could anyone think these tactics are acceptable?

With sites like Cheaterville, BV can not claim any moral high ground. He is a disgrace to the honorable men and women who have served in our military. As someone with family that has served. I find his behavior disgraceful.

First car - a Hillman Minx. Yeah, I know! What's that? I little British car that broke down often and no, I never stood by the side of the road and shook. Those were the days before cell phones so I'd walk to a store or gas station and call a tow truck. It was important to always have change in those days! I was 18 when I got that car.

Tucker's Mom said...

******
DH had an Audi when we met and I wasn't impressed (I was with him though!) with the car. It seemed to show wear and tear easily, but we traded it in and it helped buy our next car.
DH actually bought the Audi new. He walked into the showroom and paid STICKER PRICE! Oh, the heckling I gave DH for doing that. But, he's now a believer in gently used cars and would never buy new again.
I've never had a Christine car, but some have been nightmares. Also, cars were simply not as dependable overall when I grew up. Foreign cars were better, but just that-- foreign, and American cars were crap.
In college, I went from a POS Mustang Ghia that had one speaker jerryrigged under the dash board, to a boat of a Ford Thunderbird, when the grill entered a zip code 5 minutes before the driver did.
I was freaking Huggy Bear. All I needed was a long feather in my chapeau.

Rest easy. The class action lawsuit is a bluff too. No possible way it could be filed so quickly and will be DISMISSED absolutely if McGibney were to file.

Kate never said she was a plaintiff, only that she supports. Her response was crafted by an attorney. She does not want to be deposed.

She lies in her Stir blog. Of course she has AAA or road service in her insurance policy. Women just do. She posted that blog yesterday yet one week later she doesn't know what the problem was with the "gently used" Audi? I can tell you why. What did CC CEO say? Oh yeah, "not authentic". Nicer way of saying lies.

The apology you gave, Admin, was classy and so happy you included Jon. I never saw the video when posted on this site.

I am so proud of Robert. Even if just the tabloids pick up the story, it will stop the bleeding from McGibney. Perhaps the next shoe to drop will be lawsuits against McGibney. He took a worthwhile endeavor and made it dirty.

Since we're sharing "first car" experiences, I will share mine...

I did not drive/own a car until after I married my hubby. Before that, This city child walked or took public transportation to my destination-and I was quite content with that set up.

My husband insisted that I learn to drive. As luck would have it, a good friend at work was selling his "older" car, and offered it to my husband at a very good price (I don't remember how much it cost us). My first car turned out to be a black, Audi 4000S with a stick shift.

That car sat waiting in my mother in-law's driveway until I received my driver's license.

All I know is that I fought with that stick shift for a good month or so. It was not easy learning how to drive with a stick shift- especially in a heavily populated area.

For some strange reason, people do not like being behind a car that keeps stalling ;o)

Our (as in all kids of driving age in the family shared it) first clunker was an old brown Ford pinto. We called it "the turd". It got us where we needed/wanted to go. You had to top of all fluids at least once every week and a half. It had kind of an odor about it - not quite the BO from the Seinfeld episode but something that we could never quite put our finger on. It smell was just there. Damn car ran like a top though.

I wonder if Kate knows that AAA is attached to the person and not the car. One membership will cover all her vehicles. We've used ours when we locked keys in a rental and most recently when we were at a party and someone locked keys in a car. We called and AAA was out there in no time. With a military husband who did a lot of TDY I always felt safer knowing that they were just a phone call away. When my son was about 13 he and I were taking a weekend road trip (husband was TDY). As we were getting ready to leave he asked me if I knew how to get where we were going (I not great with directions) and if I had my cell phone and my AAA card because he didn't want to break down somewhere and hear dueling banjos being played. Funny kid.

When I graduated from college, my parents gave me a used Ford Fairlane. It was about 10 years old, but I loved that car. I'm short and that was a big car. I must have looked like a little kid sitting in it, because the bridge of my nose was about level with the top of the steering wheel. I got stopped by cops more than once s they could check my ID. After the saw my birthdate, and could see up close that I was definitely driving age, they would send me on my way. I drove that car for 7 years, until the transmission fell out of it one day as I was heading back to work from lunch. I never had any problems or complaints about that Ford and have owned a couple more since then, also with no complaints. The only car I've owned that I would classify as a POS was a Chevette, which I bought new. Nothing but problems with it.

In her blog she said that this incident occurred over a week ago. Today on twitter she says when she knows the results of her car she will stare. Huh? It is taking a week to diagnose? Can't they usually figure it out within the first day or two and what takes time is actually fixing it, not diagnosing it. Usually they give you a call within hours or days saying this is what is wrong.

Didn't she say the noise was coming from the back? Are there motors or anything in the back of that car that would cause such a thing? I think she underestimates her audience. Whatever problem it had if it doesn't add up to the description of how it went down, people will take notice. I think she spews off stories or embellishes stories without really thinking about whether they make sense and are credible.

I kinda laughed too at the drama of acting like this was a near death experience. She was lucky everything went down safely but so is anyone who ever has to pull over on the highway every single day around the country. This is just life. I think some people seem to think that Twitter is a right. No, you don't have a right to Tweet. Many other celebs have left twitter or taken breaks when it got to be too much, Jon included. I doubt they miss it. (http://globalgrind.com/entertainment/nicki-minaj-leaves-twitter-other-celebrities-list)

If there are legitimate threats, we should be turning to the real authorities to handle it. Why can't the police handle anything that crosses the line? In fact isn't it downright stupid NOT to involve the proper authorities?

It's just that she's become truly irrelevant now. Same reason there is no legit interest with this ongoing twitter blathering. No "real" news site has interest in her anymore because the people don't.

If some legit news agency truly is interested, I imagine they would do actual research on what RH is offering first and take a little time with it, unlike a tabloid that doesn't care if there's proof of things or not.

If she happens to pop up somewhere else in the public eye, trying to do a show or interviews or whatever, then the legit news agencies will likely be very interested in RH offerings. But she's come to the point where she just doesn't rate the attention with the general public anymore.

This whole tweeting thing looks big and newsworthy to the few who are involved or who are interested in her...behaviors...but that is just a tiny handful of people. The general population isn't interested in her and so the news isn't, either. (Some legit outlets could be pondering it right now, though, you never know.)

I know her blog was a lie when she said she was driving somewhere work related.

That's right, I forgot she has THREE cars. She expects us to believe she doesn't have AAA which does indeed insure the person, not the car. She can't afford the $60 a year fee or whatever it is in PA? Baloney.

And she could have taken a cab or called a car to take her home from wherever the car was dropped off by the tow truck driver. She used to take limos all over the place, surely she has that number. So, she gets a rental which implies she does indeed carry road insurance.

Oh, even better, she had to call a friend about what to do? Can anyone say Stevie? I bet he was shaking his head. The car is broken. Get a tow. Duh. So much for "Can Do" Kate.

RADARONLINE today

The battle over Kate Gosselin is getting hotter by the day and now Jon Gosselin is back in the middle of it.

An anti-bullying activist tells RadarOnline that he will prove Jon and anti-Kate book author Robert Hoffman were linked in a scheme to spread lies about Kate for profit.

PHOTOS: Kate Gosselin Through The Years

James McGiney, the anti-bullying activist, recently announced a lawsuit against people he says have crossed the line in attacking the mom of eight. But that has not deterred Hoffman, Kate’s most ardent critic, who, is putting his once-banned e-book about her back on the web.

But right as the book resurfaces, McGibney, owner of bullville.com, tells Radar he will prove Jon schemed with Hoffman to profit off “lies” and “deceit” about Kate.

PHOTOS: Kate Gosselin’s 10 Sexiest Bikini Looks!

Addressing Hoffman directly, McGibney told Radar: “You had your chance to come clean about all the lies and deceit you based the book off of but you are such a narcissist you and Jon decided to just go ahead.”

McGibney has set up hoffmanbook.com and @hoffmanbook, promising he will release proof of a money trail fueling the anti-Kate material.

“I’m going after Jon , a lawyer involved in this and Hoffman,” McGibney told Radar exclusively.

PHOTOS: Kate Gosselin: Keeping Up With The Kids

Hoffman’s self-published e-book, Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled The World,” is being made available via the web to news organizations who email the author, according to an announcement he recently posted.

The book was briefly for sale on Amazon last year but was removed by the e-retailer after two days when lawyers for Kate demanded it be taken down.

Radar broke the story that Jon Gosselin gave Hoffman access to Kate’s computer hard drives, filled with contracts, journals and other personal information. (Hoffman says he pulled the hard drives out of the trash.)

PHOTOS: The Sexiest Single Moms

Meanwhile Hoffman posted this notice about his book: “The entire text of the book KATE GOSSELIN: HOW SHE FOOLED THE WORLD, including all supporting documents, digital files and photo libraries for verification, is now available for viewing by any legitimate news-gathering organization interested in this story.

“Contact (redacted) for more information and author interview requests.

“Thank you to bullyville.com for putting the national spotlight back on this story that had been swept under the rug and had been long forgotten.”

PHOTOS: Jon Gosselin Shops For Christmas Tree With His Kids

But McGibney signaled his charge into the battle with this tweet: @BullyVille: Coming Soon! Hoffman Book ~theft, lies and the money trail.”

RadarOnline was first to reveal that Hoffman is a pal of Kate’s ex husband Jon, a fact later confirmed by Hoffman.

Kate has been called “sick” and in desperate need of mental help by Hoffman, who told Radar that he has previously reported her to child services and believes she is abusive toward her children.

PHOTOS: Kate & The Kids Go To A Museum

“I personally contacted Child Protection Services (sic) twice in 2010 when I found the journal,” Hoffman previously wrote in response to questions sent to him by Radar’s founder and Managing Editor David Perel (@IMPerel). “I sent them copies of what I had and they told me they would look into it and that’s the last I heard. I’ve tried to talk to Kate several times in 2010 but she wouldn’t acknowledge my existence.”

Hoffman brags that he now has possession of 5,000 family photos, personal documents, tax and business records plus contracts, and Radar’s previous review of his e-book reveals he does indeed have a trove of legitimate documents. (Radar did not confirm that every document in the book is legitimate.)

Now Hoffman and McGibney are on a collision course, with Kate making it known that she supports the efforts of McGibney and others who confront bullies. As Radar reported exclusively, Kate will joint McGibney’s recently-announced lawsuit against people who have crossed the line in criticizing her.

According to Kate's blog post, she got her car fixed at the dealership, then had a problem with the car. So, you would tow it right back to the dealer who had just been working on it. Most dealership would have a driver service that could have taken her home to pick up a different car. I would think an Audi dealership would offer a loaner car even. There's no reason to get a rental. Even if they didn't have a way to get her home, she had a phone and a "friend who knows all about cars" she could call who was concerned about her safety on the freeway. Why couldn't he come pick her up? Oh, maybe because her "friend" was really "Mr Service Man". Either way, her story (again) doesn't hold water.

Remona I can't look back and read what he wrote about releasing more info (but not adding it to his book)to see if I misunderstood. I think it was on his blog and those pages of his blog are gone to the public. I wish I would have C&P'd them in the beginning.
