Costume Party winners announced: Aggiemom and FotK!

Thank you everyone for coming to the costume party. The two winners that were drawn this evening are:

Comment 99 from Aggiemom:
"I think I'll be a lunchbox with a day old sandwich in it.
or maybe a grape..."

You're cute as a button, Aggie!

And the second winner is FotK, who brought organic slop dip to the party, which no one ate, though that doesn't disqualify her from the prize.

Comment 117 from FotK ...
Why is no one eating the slop - er, um - organic dip I brought? Honestly. I mean, to be honest. It is NOT mediocre. There's lots and lots and lots of cheese and organic canned black beans in it. And guacamole. It's supposed to be served with those 503 loaves of bread I baked in my 2 Cuisinart breadmakers

Mmm, cheesey and bready.

Please e-mail admin@realitytvkids.com with the e-mail address you wish to use to collect your prize--a $25 Kindle or Amazon gift card, your choice!

Admin I like what you did to the site. I guess I missed all the furniture rearranging so I got to see the finish project. Looks good. I did however love reading all the funny comments from the ladies though. Dwindle and Remona Blue and the rest. Hysterical. Thanks for the laughs after a long hard day at work:)

Ok folks there will be an election thread, after almost scrapping the idea.

BUT, I think you will be pleasantly surprised at the angle it will take. It will be fun and not about the general elections. It is set to post automatically early this morning PST time. Watch for it.

ummm... ok... trusting you here.

~~ When I recall the times CAUGHT ON FILM of Kate shoving, pushing, smashing, grabbing, twisting, pinching her children, and the angry threatening things she says to them, it isnt hard to therorize what the behaviors were that got kindergartners sent home.

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said...

This is so evident that I find it amazing that anyone would doubt that Kate wrote the journals.
How does one just make this stuff up?

&&&

To make this all up, you would have to I guess sleuth out the school, sleuth out the format of their email addresses, find the comptroller not just the current comptroller but you'd have to make sure that was the comptroller on the date you are impersonating the email, and on and on. You would also have to know that person's style of writing for it to be believable, as well as their policies for dealing with delinquent payments. The name can be found in reverse, if you have the name. But it's much harder to find if you don't have the name. They don't even list the staff on their site.

And then once you did find someone and used their name to write out this "fake" email, I guess you hedge your bets and hope this person doesn't sue you not only for defamation, but also that the school doesn't come after your butt too. They might be able to also get you for some kind of fraud or impersonation. This is a real person who really works at that school, this is not some email from Suzy Nobody.

I'm trying to think of a scenerio in which someone would be able to find the proper name to make this up and get away with it without the school throwing a million dollar lawsuit at them. It's not happening.

Another AMAZING Examiner article (from only two weeks ago, or so). Kelly Ripa, is blasted by local actors & close friends, for calling Pit Bulls "dangerous gangster dogs". Wow, the public outlash! Her fans turned on her quickly. Misunderstood breeds are all about us. I have a vicious 7 lb. Papillon, with Small Dog Syndrome (yes, it is an actual canine diagnosis).

Ripa Article Link-

http://www.examiner.com/article/actor-wil-wheaton-says-kelly-ripa-s-ignorance-will-hurt-pit-bulls-shelters

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said...

At least Kelly wasn't making incorrect remarks about pit bulls because she was seeking to estrange her children's father even more. She was just listening to what the media has told her about them.

I like this tweet: I'm not a gangster. My friend @KaleyCuoco is not a gangster. My dog Seamus is not dangerous. @KellyRipa couldn't be more wrong. Millions of people listen to @KellyRipa. When she spreads misinformation about Pit Bulls, it makes it less likely people will adopt them. I hope @KellyRipa will do some research, spend some time with a Pit Bull, and correct the misleading impression she gave millions of people.

There is a responsibility when you are a celeb not to put misinformation out there because it does sometimes affect things, like he said like dog adoptions.

Admin and Dwindle I hope that you realized I was just trying to be funny with my comments about your unanswered questions. I was just trying to think of how the sheeple would try to twist what we have seen and heard to make their queen come out smelling like a rose. No disrespect to either of you.

Dwindle said...

Somewhere I read a quote by Cesar Milan about Pits. I cant recall it exactly but it was something like:

In the 70s it was Dobermans
In the 80s it was Rottweillers
In the 90s it was German Shepherds
in 2000's it's Pit Bulls.

We always have to have a breed to blame for bad owners.

Of course he also said that "Humans are the only species that follow an unstable pack leader." As evidenced by Kate and her 12 sheeple. So sad.

I know that!! I am so sorry! OF COURSE I know and understand your snark! Blame it on the furniture rearranging that I had a brain fart! (((hugs carezee)))

Dwindle I thought maybe you would but sometimes what I write doesn't always come out the way I had hope. I wish i could be half as witty as you are. Glad you understand my sense of humor. ((Hugs)) back at you:)

e thing I noticed buried in the book is an email from the school about lunch money from a woman with a first and last name. Just to see if that woman does exist, I googled her name, and sure enough she is comptroller at their school, the person who would logically be the one to email Kate about lunch money.

-----------

You'd also have to know who writes lunch payment reminders -- is it the finance controller, the head of lower school, the homeroom teacher, food services manager? In addition, there was communication from the business manager advising of a tuition refund when the two were removed from Kindergarten. You'd have to have a few screws loose to fake communication from these people.

Ok, who watched Dancin With Them Thar Stars? No one gets sent home this week, no results show because of a pesky little election. Just kidding! Please let it all end soon so the robocalls will stop!
Anyway, Saint Tony Dovolani of the Ballroom is from NYC, his family is in NYC, and he stopped them to talk about the storm damage. Maks and Val grew up in Brooklyn. Kirsty got on her twitter last week, got her fans together, found a truck and driver and they loaded up a truck of supplies and sent it east on Saturday! That is how you use twitter! The whole show was promoting donations to the Red Cross in between dances.
For Tony fans, watch the show online if you did not see it Monday night. Apolo has a spectacular routine, and so does Tony, and so does... They are all good!

We also had two very loving Pit Bulls, visiting in our backyard recently, for many weeks this Summer. Just helping out family, in labor with our great-niece. Had the little doggie 'Milan Clan'... sitting it-- L.A. Style! All of the amimals got along, like magic.

My father was an Air Force Security Police Guard in Spain (Zaragosa... Sp?) He specialized in the training of German Sheps. They are not perfect by any means, and will obey their master with a vengeance.

(Dad & I are still "SF" armchair experts, at heart... Loving the family military flag with the single blue star Dwindle- and the story behind it ;)

Whoo-Hoo, Admin!

Thank you! This part of the article was my favorite, and the reason for my earlier post. Actors Kaley Cuoco, and Wil Wheaton are by no means Gangsters... (Yeah Kelly Ripa, nice reporting there.)

Gangstas' with Gats, and a top-rated show called "The Big Bang Theory"? The series is making Millions for the actors, I hear.

Ellie! Hi! It's so good to know that another Hammer resident is on this blog!
I wish more people knew about our beautiful city..Have you made it to the art crawl yet?
Do you have a dog? Do you know the Hill St. Dog Park?
I live in the West end but have lived just about everywhere in town in the last 50 years.
One good thing that Kate G. has done is to bring people together from all over the globe.Unfortunately she did it by being such an abusive phony (I can't say Bitch because my dog Annie is insulted) that we are all together here trying to help the kids.
--------------------------------------

I haven't made it to the art crawl as I'm not really into that scene. No I don't have a dog although I do love them. I'm a 'cat lady' who only rescues black cats as they're always the first to be euthanized in shelters.

It is funny that through this blog people are realizing how close they live to each other.I really like this little community here and enjoy recognizing other Canadians. I always wondered if someone else from Hamilton was reading here!

Dwindle -- Actually, KK did explain why she had the big spoon in the car. She needed it to make the kids "happy up" when they were grouchy.

I need to vent a bit. Actually, this would fit better in the older thread about Sandusky and the failure to protect kids from predators. However -- Cincinnati has an excellent school for the deaf. Last week, a 24 year old resident advisor was sentenced for molesting 2 of the students. He pled guilty to 2 counts each of gross sexual imposition and sexual imposition in exchange for more serious charges being dropped. Last week the judge handed down his sentence. He was given ONE YEAR in prison. Not one year for each count, ONE YEAR TOTAL!! What a travesty! I don't know the ages of the boys he molested. I don't care. He took advantage of his position and of them. One year is ridiculous. I'm just furious! I suppose one reason I'm so angry is that a friend of mine used to teach there, but even if I didn't know the school or anyone associated with it, I'd still be upset. GRRRRRRRR!!

I agree with EM #114. I was really unhappy as a kid and wrote lots of "poetry" and that was EXACTLY the type of thing I would have written. You take a happy framework and turn it around so it tells how you're really feeling. Those girls are sad. And somehow I think (I hope) that Mady is just playing Kate - I definitely believe she's WAY smarter than Kate - and will ultimately help deal her "mother" her comeuppance. The BFF thing is hopefully just her temporary coping mechanism.

And since the pit bull talk continues - I mentioned this a while back, saw no response - I really do recommend that anyone who has strong feelings either way watch "Pit Bulls and Parolees" on Animal Planet. I'd love to know if it changes anyone's thinking even a little bit.

Admin...you said you will be making an election thread for tomorrow.Out of all the posters here (which is many) You have counted on 1 hand the bad ones. I know you are hoping for a fair and non-argureamentable conform on this topic.
I'm not sure what you are asking. Can we voice our opinions respectfully...Or are we expected to say...Hey good luck? I hope your guy wins?
This is not a vote to be taken lightly .I'am not wishing well for the guy running against my guy. It's not like a high school football game when who ever wins really dosent matter much.
Guess I'm asking for what is right to say or not to say.Promising to be as good as I can.Again....this is just not a matter of saying GL all!

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said...

Starz the election post will have instructions don't worry. There will be no discussion of the general election. There are many other places around the web to discuss that.

IDModo, I am so pleased to hear you are doing well after your stem cell transplant. My late husband was diagnosed with stage 4 multiple myeloma and never went into remission. His very large company couldn't hold a blood drive for him but could do a stem-cell drive. But, nonetheless, he lived 17 more months. We'd been married 8 months when he was diagnosed. Life goes on and I've been happily married for 14 years.

I have a lot of dog related stuff on my facebook. I was scanning my wall today for the first time in a while (I've been avoiding it due to all the political stuff people on both sides have been posting) and what should happen to catch my eye, but a dog trainer talking about her new "reactive dog class"

The class contained 3 Pit Bulls and 2 German Shepherds this session.

Just had to share that with people that would probably get the same giggle I did out of it.

There will be No discussion of the general election. So what I get from that is we are not free to discuss anything much...besides...saying go vote..and good luck.
I will give you that Admin...this is your blog, and have the right to give the guidelines.
I will follow the rules and hope...many get their vote in.
I know I was 1 one who didn't follow the rules given..I will take my leave,to let this blog carry on in the formational manner that has allowed blogs on the Gosselin's to survive. This blog is the only one to carry on.
Well done Admin...

Well Starz you can always discuss Kate's tweets. I'm sure she'll say something stupid. We did a poll and the odds of that happening blow that margin of error out of this country!

Also I'm not even comfortable telling people to go vote given a few of the drivebys lately. No please, do not vote. :)

It was waaayyyyy far back in the beginning of this topic but thank you for the alert that Marcia Muller has another McCone book coming out. I received a Kindle Fire for an anniversary gift last week so timing is perfect! And if RH's book comes back on Amazon I'm ready. Well, except I'm stalled at what Wi-Fi system I have. I have it, just don't know what. Sigh ... guess Google needs to be paged to help me out.

Uninformed voters already decide elections. If more uninformed voters were to vote, perhaps they'd vote third party and help break up the duopoly. Please vote.

I don't want to say because I have sheeple stalkers, but someone here once mentioned they live next to a certain landmark that is within walking distance of my house. There is someone here out there whose house I've been walking my dog past all the time. Hello!!!!

I'm actually kinda excited about this election post. You'll understand when you see it.

Lynn W.- Thank you. They harvested my OWN stem cells for the procedure, then bombarded me with 10 times the regular amount of chemo, then thawed my stem cells and replaced them. I think this is a fairly new procedure.
I am so glad you had some time with your husband before his passing, and glad you are now happily married again.

Shout out to Ellie, fellow Hamilton resident! I only have one rescued cat but she is now 18 years old. Keep up the good work!
