You are also free to discuss whatever you like, however if you want to partake in the book club discussion, this thread is here to discuss the designated chapters. Robert Hoffman’s book “Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled the World” is available on Amazon for Kindle. The Kindle app is free for multiple platforms, including PCs.
5. Bad Blog
Kate obsessively reads what is said about her on the internet, from Google news alert to the Gosselin blogs. Undeniably the first online presence to ever call Kate out was the Reading Eagle, a small but respected local newspaper. Staff member Dana Hoffman kept a blog on the site detailing Kate's misdeeds. Kate's people eventually called up the Reading Eagle and asked them to shut down her blog. Within hours the paper removed it from the site. Kate keeps files on her computer with information from blogs and even on their moderators. The file folder for Dana's blog was entitled "Bad Blog."
In January 2008, Kate also asked Discovery to remove Television Without Pity's Jon and Kate forum (which in fact was closed eventually, in June 2008), and the Discovery Health Channel forum.
Kate's house is in a rural neighborhood and surrounded by farmland. She once drove the kids three hours to Maryland to trick-or-treat in her bodyguard Steve's neighborhood.
When Jodi and Kevin spoke publicly about what they saw, Kate fired off an email to Discovery with her three favorite words: "Can we sue?"
According to a member of Kate's family, Kate has been diagnosed with bi-polar, but refuses to take medication.
Hoffman once observed Kate with the kids when she was having a very stable, happy day. She and the nanny, Judy, took the sextuplets to get donuts, later they went to the park and spent a long time there, then met up with another mother and her daughter for a play date back at the house. Hoffman also observed her chatting up and flirting with a park employee.
7. Kate's God Complex
“I asked her how that works as far as our rate going up from Disc Health network and the ‘fringe benefits’ as I call them…. She said that the amount we are paid per show will not take away from what they (AMP) will provide for us. She used the examples of the kids beds… she said those things come out of their (AMP) budget from the network. So that is almost mind boggling to me we will be paid for each episode and receive fringe benefits!!!!! Lord, how great thou art!!!!!”
Kate felt God was "urging" her to quit her nursing job.
Kate said that if Discovery wasn't going to pay for the beds she wasn't going to allow them to film the episode about beds. Jen (producer Jen Stocks) was annoyed by this.
As for Jon, Kate wrote: “I pray that his complacency would leave him and would turn into passion for the Lord! Lord PLEASE help Jon to desire these things!!!!!! Help him to become a man of integrity!!!!! Lord please!!!!! He could be the perfect man if he could get these things under control and let God take control!!!!!”
Alexia foods sent four cases of fries. Other food was sent by others or offered at reduced prices. Fans, friends and family sent gift cards and cash, including $250 from Kate's parents, and Kate attributed it all to God.
Kate writes this about the children: “Lord I am begging you to help me be a loving caring kind and slow to anger mommy. Please stop me somehow from hurting my kids and help me to be slow to anger!!!! I love them SOOO much. Help them to obey me!!!!! And not get into trouble!!!!! Please Lord, amen!!!!”

The worst of the abuse documented at this point was when the six were TWO years old. They are now much older, and able to talk to people when they are out of Kate's clutches. If they want to, they can talk to teachers, other kids, and most of all to JON.
I wonder if that had anything to do with Jon finally managing to get 50% custody of the children?
It truly astonishes me how blatant the gender inequality is about this whole travesty. If Jon was the one that had kept these journals about 'spanking' his kids, pulling their hair, whipping them into their crib 'hard', I doubt anyone in the media or general public would be so dismissive about 'oh, i was hit with a spoon in my day and I turned out fine.'
You know for a fact that everyone would be calling for a criminal investigation about the abuse and 'fraud' of good citizens who just wanted to help a 'young and financially strapped couple'. Everyone would be calling Jon a child abuser, a swindler and no-good for nothing asshole. But here we are again with this "Kate is a mother of 8, she is too busy to write a journal", "you would be overwhelmed too if you had that many kids"...blah blah blah.
Even now having proof of what she wrote about regarding her kids, grifting from companies, church goers from her own mouth, the media and sheeples are still not convinced. I don't think even if they saw something with their own eyes and hearing it with their own ears would they be convinced.
Sandusky and Penn state got away with it so why not Katie Kreider?
It seems like common sense has disappeared altogether and it is now an exception instead of the norm. Is it me or has society become a very shameful bunch?

Someone up thread commented on "follow the money" theory. I agree.
Tomorrow, Katie Couric will show us what she is made of. She was a respected news anchor at CBS, she has done many serious interviews on the TODAY show.
Her new show reflects her bubbly side, yet she is addressing serious topics on her show. Tomorrow's show is about the reality television, and how real is actually is, so, not terribly deep.
Let's assume the show was taped AFTER Robert Hoffman's book was made public. I would assume it is legally off the table for discussion tomorrow, but if Katie has some say over in own show she should be at least able to reference the book. Something along the lines of, "Kate, there is an inflammatory book which your lawyers have pulled off the Internet, would you like to address any of the allegations in the book?". Again, IF this show was taped after the publication of the book and Katie says nothing, then I say it is all about the networks and following the money.

Is it a parenting class, focusing on parenting techniques? Or is it a Parents Beyond Conflict type class, which focuses on positive parenting despite conflict with your ex? In my opinion there is a huge difference. Though I'm glad they are encouraging parent/conflict education.

I'm glad that Robert took to his blog to provide specifics re the interviewee with whom he discussed the yogurt incident.
Broader than that, I appreciate that he's systematically peeling away the superficial arguments & distractions, so as to help bring the real issues back to center stage.

I can't help but compare this whole thing to the LeBron James debacle last year. Hundreds of thousands of people, maybe even millions of them, turned against him and want his head on KK's golden platter for moving to another team that promised him more money. Yet they find every excuse in the book to overlook KK's abuse of her children. Where are people's priorities?

In sticking it to the sheeple, I'm surprised that Robert didn't dig deeper into the "friendship" of Kate with her obsessed master internet sleuth buddy (and the demise of the cruise). He did point out some of the sheeple with whom she was befriending, and their profane tweets, but it would have been interesting to see more of the tweets to and from the cruise vetter, especially since Kate was excited and thrilled that she would meet this person on the cruise. Does Kate know this person's reputation on the blogs, and if she does, how does she justify maintaining an internet "relationship" with this person?
I'd like to thank Robert for calling out two of the biggest hypocrites among Kate's defenders/enablers.

Well that would explain why they would do anything to deflect away from the story about the children and try to discredit Robert. Could it be that they are paid to do this? It certainly would explain how a person could be so doggedly determined to defend and deflect when they have no way of knowing it's not true. The possibility sure opens up another perspective to this, doesn't it?
I feel terrible for Robert. He was very clear in his email to ROL that Jon had no involvement in obtaining the computer information. For some reaso ROL is trying to deflect and throw Jon under the bus.

Oh Milo, the research Robert did is not NEAR as creepy as his subject.
Kate told the kids who made her a millionairess several times over, they were getting batteries, underwear and something else (I can't remember- it was equally as crappy) for Easter. Then, Jon made a motion for a custody change (the 50/50) and Kate heard he was planning an egg hunt.
SO.
Kate then tweeted for weeks about her big eloborate egg hunt, 1,200 eggs and gifts galore. Robert knew that not only was Kate lying, she was sending out her special batshrew signal for the paps to come. Kate does not go to this much effort for the kids. Ever. And he was correct. Two people rolled up in a van with storage tubs full of already filled plastic eggs and THEY hid them. When the kids had the hunt, Kate sat inside, drank wine and never came out.
Last Christmas Kate told the kids they were getting only one gift each because the show was canceled. Then this terrible information leaked out. To save face, she bought more gifts and tweeted for weeks that she was wrapping every night and the piles never got smaller. Here's the kicker- Robert's research revealed every single gift was wrapped in blank newsprint with names written in pen directly on the paper. No bows, no ribbons, no gift tags.
Who does this? Who goes to the effort to find grey newsprint to wrap gifts in? Is it even cheaper than xmas wrap? I can't imagine the wild goose chase Kate sent the nanny 'o the moment on to find such a huge quantity of this thin, ugly paper. IMO, that was Kate's FU to her own kids. She was forced to buy more gifts, but she would be damned if they were gonna be pretty & festive, too. The wrapped gifts included in some of her photos were from fans. SAd.

I'll take someone who digs through trash over someone who holds seething resentment and anger over her own precious children any day.

Yes, there are, and we've talked about the ignorance of the sheeple many, many times. We've questioned how these people can take care of themselves, much less their families, when they are so blind to the world around them.
Moreover, it's sad when you realize that many of them are teenagers and very young adults who idolize Kate to the point of having 5,000 photos of her, and the ones who consider her their role models and want to raise their children just as she is raising her children. You can only hope and pray that this fascination wears off, and as time goes by, they will mature and grow out of that celebrity-obsession phase and come to their senses.
Then there's Milo, and the platitude-tweeter with the hole in her heart, and the one who demonizes Jon, and a couple other strange characters out there, and unfortunately you just know that there's no hope for them. You cross your fingers that these people are in the minority and will not be dangerous if she, on a whim, decides to ignore them.

Kate gets the ends of newspaper roll from the local paper for free. It's terrific for doodling etc, but a bit bleak for present wrapping.
Madam all things creative could have gone to Michaels and bought ink pads and stamps for a couple bucks and gussied the paper up.

What's really scary is that the sheeple are so busy trying to discredit Robert for going through a trash can or hiding in the bushes that in their deflection they can't see the forest for the trees -- that these are Kate's words, her journals, her e-mails. They can't address this because there is no defense of it. All they can do is to shoot the messenger. It appears they are up s##t's creek without a paddle and in order to stay afloat, they have nothing left but to attack him.
If Kate wouldn't have been so stupid as to discard these Discovery "trade secrets," this book wouldn't have the impact that it has. She has nobody to blame but herself.
When I think of those precious babies being whipped into their cribs, my heart breaks. How could you look into their little faces and just keep hitting them and hitting them? My gosh -- this is their mother -- she's supposed to be protecting them. As babies unable to speak, they can't say "why are you hitting me?" They don't understand physical punishment. It was very difficult for me to read parts of this book, and I had to put it down several times and take a breather.
And yet there are those who celebrate her as Super Mom. As a society, is this what we've become?
Kate Gosselin not twittering; wonder if she's tapeing KATIE's show? Do hope she is and do hope if she is that KATIE ask at least 1 question on the "Gosselinbook". Will watch NOT to see Kate with a ton of makeup or listen to her "ummmmmmmmmms", but to see if KATIE still ask important questions.

This is a question for you, Admin. According to Robert's sources (former crew members, I believe), there is footage of Kate's abuse of her children that has never aired. Now that TLC/Disc have sent a C&D letter to Robert concerning trade secrets he has supposedly revealed, do they have a responsibility to maintain any documents and or "never-aired" footage which could confirm the child abuse? Or can they dispose of it in the event these parties face off in court and there would be no proof of their knowledge of the abuse? I know once discovery requests are made, it is a very bad thing to to damage, destroy or alter any of the records........just not sure if they could legally, if not ethically, destroy all that footage before they file suit against Robert.

A children's social worker. One who should really care when children are at risk. One who should know that there is more to a healthy life than nice clothes and a private school. Think about this: What if the woman who had yogurt in the fridge told her story to someone, who then used it gain the confidence of the mods at GWoP. Does its use negate the original incident? Individual interviews by skilled social workers would provide a lot of insight.

TLC and discovery do not give a crap about Kate anymore...they care about themselves and damage control and losing their reputation(what's left of it) and it's all about how it will affect revenue! They've already put Kate out with the trash to the curb when they cancelled her show....they just should have checked what was in the trash can with her! If anything, they should sue Kate! For leaking information to the public.

I have been working so haven’t caught up on all the posts so I apologize if this has been discussed. She is going to have to address the book at some point. I could see her using the excuse that she had post partum depression or was so stressed being a new mom at such a young age and with so many children she just got overwhelmed. My mom did it the mediocre way - she worked as a nurse! I know it's been said by some that a nurse's salary won't be enough to raise 8 kids but I'm living proof. Of course instead of a mansion, we had plenty of time with family and cousins. And our first big vacation was to the Grand Canyon in a borrowed popup camper! Too many happy memories to list!

When I think of those precious babies being whipped into their cribs, my heart breaks. How could you look into their little faces and just keep hitting them and hitting them? My gosh -- this is their mother -- she's supposed to be protecting them. As babies unable to speak, they can't say "why are you hitting me?" They don't understand physical punishment. It was very difficult for me to read parts of this book, and I had to put it down several times and take a breather.
And yet there are those who celebrate her as Super Mom. As a society, is this what we've become?

I've enjoyed lurking the past while. I've got nothing more to say about that skank. I am done. But I do want to thank everyone for the spoilers. I know myself too well. While I want to buy/read the book, I am afraid of how it will make me feel. I don't want to be any angrier than I am about who she is and what she has done in the name of fame whoring. I trust everyone's opinion that after reading Robert's book, she truly is an evil, mentally unstable woman. Let's hope those kids are resilient and can eventually overcome their childhoods. I also believe Jon is a loving man. You can't fake that stuff. You either have it or you don't. He is gentle and loved by his kids. The kids have a better chance of getting through this with a loving father who is a constant in their lives.

Is he the better parent--yes, no doubt. But, he abandoned his children--even left the country and moved several hours away, knowing that his children were being beaten and that their mother could not take care of them. Kate is not responsible for his weak character and his passivity--he brought that to their relationship and she exploited it.

If you read the section in the book that details the divorce, you will realize how few options he had. Like one: to just go away.
He was responsible for the mess that was created. He was ALSO responsible for, eventually, putting a stop to it. And it is amazing that he was able to do so, when you really take a look at how much was against him. He couldn't even stop Kate from taking the kids out of state, he couldn't stop her from taking them out of the country.
CPS was called on the family, Jon was dealing with the court system. This is NOT giving him a pass, but what other option does he have? Kidnap eight kids, then get arrested?

Not true. In some states, the results may be admitted into evidence if approved by both parties. Even in federal courts they may be used at the judge's discretion.

I really like Katie Couric and the Today Show's best days started to wane when she left. She was "perky" Katie.
Couric then went serious, eschewed the perky moniker and anchored national news. Her ratings never took off, despite absolutely nailing Sarah Palin like the seasoned pro that she is.
Katie is a fun, light show, from the promos that I've seen. I'm not inclined to think that Katie will turn all bulldog on Kate Gosselin and tackle the issues that Robert has. Not at this point anyway.
It will be an absolute minefield to navigate an interview with Gosselin at this moment in time.
Katie can throw softballs, or use the latest bombshells that have finally reached a broader audience and insist on asking direct questions and not settle for subterfuge, half-truths, wrote coached answers and code-speak.
I really don't know what will happen, but am pretty sure that Kate will not back down from an opportunity to be on TV again. If Kate's people have any "juice" remaining, they will control the scope of the interview and it will go off without a whiff of controversy, or at least, controversy without a pat answer to misdirect the audience.

Tabloids do not give lie detector tests. They are administered by certified polygraph examiners. Moreover, if directed to do so by a tabloid, I would think that they would make darn sure that the person giving the test is qualified. It's their neck on the line if they choose to print a story and later find out that the polygraph test was corrupted in some way.

I think that they have gotten attention, but not the kind they wanted. It backfired on them, and they came out looking jealous, petty, and just plain desperate. It was not a smart move by either of them.
If Kate is reading here I'd like to suggest she stop and think for awhile. You know Kate, reminisce about the days of your youth and the way you felt when your parents (dad in particular) punished you, screamed at you, "spanked" you, etc. and how you still feel about it. Lie detector tests are generally inadmissible in Pennsylvania period. Though that doesn't mean they aren't used. Cops also use lie detector tests all the time. They can be the difference between whether someone is charged or not, even if it's not allowed in court.
There are also ways to get around lie detector tests not being allowed in court. For instance I've scheduled them for clients and once they pass them I may show the other attorneys hey we have this lie detector test that checks out. You can use them to negotiate. It's an interesting way for Star to verify their stories but I guess it makes sense.

No changes to the foster care system are expected despite a 3-year-old girl being near death, her foster father behind bars and a state investigation.
Taken from her birth mother because she did not have a safe home of her own, 3-year-old Belle came to a home in Reinholds to live with 23-year-old Joshua Martin and his wife. They had been foster parents for two years.
Court papers show between Sept. 21 and 23, Martin got annoyed with Belle because she was throwing up. The documents said he admitted to getting rough with the 3-year-old, hitting her head on a wooden door frame and punching her in the face.
Belle is on life support at Penn State Hershey Medical Center.
Lancaster County Human Service Director Jim Laughman talked about the foster family on Tuesday.
"Everything came back crystal clear on the family. They had great references, everybody spoke very positively about them," Laughman said.
The county said it puts potential parents through state and federal background checks, does orientations, trainings, interviews and monthly home visits.
"There was no indication that there was any problem," Laughman said.
He said the county is looking into the problem, but it doesn't plan to make any changes right now.
"The reality may be we may never find a reason why. Sometimes people make bad choices and they snap," Laughman said.
Belle's mother said she is afraid someone else may snap. She is fighting to get her other two children out of foster care, even though they are no longer in the care of the Martins.

Does anyone who read Al's book remember that he wrote that supposedly Jon claimed to have had uhhh... relations with Jamie once while she was visiting? I'm still reeling over Milo's tweet that the kids are doin so great and it's a testament to Kate's present and past good parentin.
What I took from Robert's statement that there are some issues at school regarding the kids interations and lack of interactions with some of the staff, is that the lacking part could mean some of the kids should be getting counseling (with school psych?) and Kate won't allow it. Even back during expell gate when Kate said the kids were getting counseling and she even found one that would come to the house, I didn't believe it. The last thing a verbal and physical child abuser wants is kids having one on one time with a mandated reporter.

Local Philly ABC just had a commercial for Katie today at 3a and it included Kate, Theresa and Abbie. I have looked high and liw for the video of something and I can't find it...When Katie was doing her promo blitz for her show I saw a segment where she was asked who her least favorite interview was. The fair way for Katie Couric to do the show would be to have reality "talent" and the opposing view like Paul Peterson on with them. All that will happen is the "talent" will lie.
We've been consistently disappointed that no one on TV has attacked the issue of the fakeness of reality TV, because they are hamstrung by their employers (the networks). I do not plan on watching Katie. It will make me too angry.
ROL has a new article saying that Jon was the one who gave Robert the computer files, according to a "source close to the situation".
This article was written by Amber Goodhand, not by David Perel, the Executive VP who has been doing the latest articles.
"But now a source close to the situation has stepped forward and tells Radar that Jon was behind the scheme that enabled Hoffman to gain possession of the hard drives."
Of course, they don't name their source-wonder if the source's initials are AW. The article also refers to Robert as "Rob"--how would they know what nickname, if any, Robert uses.
I also think ROL is getting frustrated, because Jon is not addressing the issue. They want him to give them an exlusive-and he's not.

ROL works both sides. I'd say the "source" is from Kate's camp. Robert took pictures of the trash to prove that's where he got it. Kate or her "people" are just using ROL to make Jon look bad, as usual.
Now I really believe that ROL's "source" is AW. Especially, since he linked an entry to his blog when he commented on one of the Huff Post's articles. In his blog, he states that because of his involvement in the Gosselin story, he was asked to give his take on the events behind the release of the book.
In that blog, he totally bashes Robert, and indicates that Jon had to be involved. He also states that since he is the author of the "definitive book on the Jon and Kate meltdown from 2009, I do feel qualified to comment on all things Gosselin and Robert Hoffman's role in this story."
AW is scum.

Yeah, I believe it's Al also. Something must have gone down between those two to make Al so bitter and petty. Al went after Jon in his book, so yes, it totally makes sense that he would name Jon giving Robert the hard drive. Al's book was garbage. I guess he hoped to pair up with Robert to redeem himself and make some real money.

You know, when they shared the house for custody times, Jon rented an apartment in NY, which is the only way we know where he was. Kate didn't rent anything, she stayed in hotels. For Jon, who was trying to get back into television, it made more sense to be in NY. And it was what? 2-3 hrs away?

For some odd reason, I sat down and watched "Surviving Sextuplets and Twins" on youtube this morning. Watching it now, 7 years later...so, was Khate's destiny predetermined or did she set the wheels in motion even that early?
At 38:20 mark she says, "When everyone else walks away and when everyone else disappears, um, we've got each other. God's providing for us in one way or another it's happening."
Was she talking about the volunteers that she NEVER mentioned in the entire 40 minutes? (there were notes all over the house - someone else was in the house) Or was she talking about someone else?
Within 3 minutes of tape, she grifted $1,150 of products at Sam's and bared the "jowls of the dog" on tape for some generous plastic surgeon to see.
I know I watched this when it was first on. I do remember thinking they were quite odd for putting themselves on TV, but the kids were cute.

I forgot to say, that YES, they were already set up to grift - that is obvious from before Robert's book.
But what about the comment about people leaving them?
For all hoping that someone will take Kate to task during an interview, it's not going to happen. The closest thing was Whoopi calling Kate out about being at the house during Jon's visitation. Kate only does interviews in which the questions have been pre-approved. Unless she gets really desperate I don't think she'll ever do a "real" interview. It's just not in her best interest and her handlers know that. She can barely handle the pre-planned interviews. I'm sure Julie knows that a real interview would be a trainwreck. It's better for them to spin, lie and ignore.
I doubt we'll ever see Kate publicly have to answer for all that she's done. I think Kate's fall into obscurity is about all we'll see. Seems like she's already doing z-list stuff and pretty soon, even those offers will stop coming in. She'll always have her sheeple to grift from but that's not enough to satisfy the grifting queen.
I'm sure she has enough money to last her for quite awhile but every time she has to pay for something you know it just kills her. I just hope the kids are able to pry their college tuition from her. That's the very least that they deserve.

I read Polly's book when it first came out..it was in e-book form. It had as many mistakes as Robert's book does, and was poorly written. The only thing I really remember from it, is how it mainly consisted of blog postings from various people without their permission.She certainly must have done major revising of it, if it is taught in college courses.
Kate has shown no effort to find steady employment and is living off her past earnings. Here’s the thing – without some type of employment that pays good money, Kate will lose that house at some point. Private school tuition for 8 children; mortgage payment; insurance; car payments, etc. - these items can eat through savings at an alarming rate that may surprise Kate. The kids will have a safety net as they can go live with Jon. Where will Kate go?
Attended a luncheon the other day with coworkers. Thought I'd bring up the book because we are all locals. Wow, was I surprised that almost every person there had a connection to this witch (and not a positive one!)
1. First person goes to her church. No nice things to say about her. And not at all surprised by the revelations in the book.
2. Second person has close tie to the person who sold Kate the million dollar home. Definitely not nice things to say about her.
3. Person who worked at Reading Hospital and knew her (discussed others giving up their sick days for her and the ungrateful way they were treated)
4. Final person received a ticket while parked on Hefner Road, the paps told her to fight it! We all had some laughs over that one. That was when we all discussed the payola that Lower Heidelberg Twp was receiving from TLC during that time, in order to cover another office to handle the traffic and "domestic" difficulties.
So out of five people, there were five connections and none of them positive.
Theresa just tweeted AGAIN about her being on Monday! I'm so confused. Maybe SHE has her own show on Monday.

I also watched some of "Surviving Sextuplets and Twins- A Year Later" last night b/c I wanted to see the then -toddlers greet mama after her surgery- there was a nagging feeling I had...first, Kate looked cute and refreshed, and no good bra- IMO didn't need the BIG size.
But those toddlers stayed still in their cribs, possibly not sure who this smiling lady was. I noticed some of the kids had a dazed look, like they had had too much crib time. I think she really must have stunted their social development. They just did not react as most babies would to see Mommy home. While Alexis was adorable with her Hi Mommy?, I felt the toddlers did not know what to say and seemed very dull and quiet, not knowing what to expect from Mommy Dearest.That scene seemed fake to me but the reaction probably typical.

I merely pointed out the undeniable fact that he did have the option to live closer to his children. You seem to be conveniently forgetting that he went long periods without seeing them.
An ad for Katie's show just appeared on WABC 7 in NY. Kate, Theresa, Abby and the Gold Rush guys were all mentioned. I think the voice-over was "The reality stars you love to hate." It's on at 3 pm here.
Is the Book Club on hold for now? I'd love to see a summary post on the next handful of chapters, but only if Admin feels comfortable in putting it up. He only recently got 50/50 custody, which, it has been alleged, he had to fight tooth and nail to get. And only got because something may/may not have happened to the kids, which put things in his favor.
It is hard to judge because we do not have all the facts re what Jon did/did not do. After seeing the way his divorce was planned by TLC, I can only imagine the custody battles, not with Kate, but with the TV network.

My take on the toddlers in the cribs (in the show I watched, in the show you watched) -
I was always amazed that they didn't reach out for Mommy (or Daddy). NOW I know that perhaps it was take 4, the toddlers are just staring at the camera, not interacting with Mom or Dad.
I always suspected that Alexis was the only toddler at the time of the tummy tuck that could say "Hi, Mommy" well enough that the audience would understand the words. AND I never really believed that while the toddler was saying "hi, Mommy" that the toddler knew that lady smiling and giggling in front of her WAS Mommy.

There are passages in the book where RH observed the local police blocking paps from following Kate while she sped away, in excess of 90 mph. He often observed her talking to them for much more than a few minutes while she was parked the wrong way in a fire zone at the UPS store.

Re: hospital sick days - this comes from a person who worked there and is unsubstantiated. (Don't want Al calling me out) Just came up in conversation among a LOT of other things...however, I tend to believe it. They said she took all the days and then quit.
Thoughts this morning....I think Milo---My Lover...is paid to defend Kate. And I don't think he/she likes Kate. That's why their posts are sometimes odd sounding....on occasion you can hear the underlining disdain for Kate. From what I understand, their problems stem from the fact that Robert refused to let Al use his work in the book and caused him to re-write parts and caused a publishing delay. I believe the book was the cause of their problems. They were friends/co-workers before that.

I think Robert's biggest mistake, was not to send the book to ALL the media outlets and talk shows as soon as it was finished. That way everyone would know all at once exactly what was in the book. Usually advance book copies are sent out free for reviews.
Maybe whoever can send it via email should send copies to bloggers and on-line journalists...including people like Oprah and Dr, Phil.
That way the focus will turn back to what is in the book.
Oh, I remember Al said someone backed out. Now Al is taking his revenge because his book is crap.
