In other reality t.v. news, the latest reality show to exploit young children, Lifetime's Bristol Palin: Life's a Tripp, which features Bristol's three-year-old son predominantly, was a ratings flop. It barely broke 720,000 for the night. Bristol had no trouble helping the ratings when she was on Dancing With the Stars without her kid. Were there other factors involved, or are viewers finally sick of watching fame-whore mommies exploit their kids?

However, I do suspect that at least part of the secret to possibly be revealed is direct and verifiable physical abuse of one or more of the children. (1) Kate has consistently shown she doesn't care what is said about her, as long as something is being said.........so it is probably nothing about PB or how badly she treats others who come in her sphere. (2) The gosselinbook site has had a countdown from day one. Why? What is special about this date in June? Might it be related to some statuary limitation date for reporting child abuse? (3) Other published books have not elicited this kind of legal response from Kate. However, if there are allegations of child abuse, wouldn't the state have to investigate? Initially, if any of the allegations proved to be credible enough for a complete investigation, wouldn't the children become wards of the state (if it happened while in the custody of Jon and Kate both) and put in foster care until the completion of the investigation. At that point, what happens to any money Kate has squirreled away. Certainly the state could appropriate whatever was deemed necessary for the children's care. Kate would be enraged if anyone got in her pocketbook and come out fighting fiercely. (4) In the last few weeks, Jon has been more solicitous and kindly disposed towards Kate. I hope this is simply the truth at face value; but the timing does seem odd. Could Jon and Kate being working together to get a pre-defense out in the public? (5) The author keeps mentioning a concern for the children with some statements that verge on self-sanctimony (ie..I was placed in your life to help you correct this)......I think child abuse would be more likely to trigger this kind of behaviour than adultery, cheating, bitchiness, etc. This is just an opinion, but it makes more sense to me than anything else I can imagine.
Attorney-client privilege covers actual communications with your client, not info as to whether someone is actually your client. You're free to say that if you want to. I suppose they could always decline to answer the question.

It's so important to have a connection to your family's past, and that's only one of the things grandparents provide: history, family and otherwise. I had to laugh when I told my grandkids that when I was growing up, we didn't have channel changers. They looked at me so seriously and asked how I changed the TV channel. When I demonstrated for them how we would have to walk up to the TV to change the channel or the volume, the boys asked me if my legs got tired from doing that!
Admin, I have not singled out a fan or hater from Twitter. What I said was she was on all the blogs. I did not single out someone to trash them, I actually admire what she is trying to do. What I guess I can't understand is why so much speculation about who it could or might be has been posted, but my post was deleted. Good grief, we are adults around here and not one thing I said was said in a mean or nasty way. We are often told if you dont like something or someone just skip over that post. Why arent we allowed to read what someone has to say and make our own decision of whether we believe them or not. I also said I could be wrong, but that I doubted it. Speculation is what we do all day long around here.

@mamaK intimated that the author of the book was Walt/Kelly. I have no knowledge or upfront info on Kate, her family nor would I spend 2 years researching it. I'm on the same page as most of you. I find the timing suspect especially with the last minute cancellation.
If the book does make it to the public domain, I'll swallow goldfish and post it on youtube. Quite frankly, I think the book, if it ever comes out will be an Electronic version and nothing more learned than anything shared on all the various blogs.
I may be verbose at times, crude at other's and down right ignorant but I can assure you, I've never taken the time to write a book about Kate, set up a website to intimate that I've got the goods nor would I spend a meager salary to fund it.
I'm not the author of the lastest catch all but, like you, I'm a little interested to know who is and what the spill can be.

My son is getting a "most improvement" award. He has autism (and very severe ADHD) and this year he was in a "regular" class for the first time, grade 2. He did amazingly well, socially and academically. He made so many gains this year and I'm so super proud of him. Hes such an awesome kid and I'm so glad that I decided to put him in a regular class this past year. He was blessed with an amazing teacher and a great group of classmates that accepted and welcomed him. He even has a little girlfriend, lol! Its been a great year, he worked so hard to get where he is. :)
I hate to get too off topic, but Jerry Sandusky is another snake-oils'man.
Very much like Kate, he deceived others. His book was entitled "Touched" (at his persistant insistance)... and he referred to himself as "The Great Pretender".

canadian girl, Ive thought that too. There's something very very bizarre about the Kate, Steve, Gina dynamic. Ive been wondering for a long time now about the possibility of Steve or Gina writing a book. There HAS to be more in it for them besides just making money off of the occasional pay out from Kate to accompany her on these trips. He is basically a laughing stock now and his professional reputation is a joke. Not to mention the fact that almost everyone is convinced that him and Kate are having an affair. There HAS to be a reason why he sticks around and why Gina puts up with it.
I think that Kate knows who wrote this book and I also think that she has a good idea of whats in it and that's why she's SO desperate to stop it. Her reaction to this book is completely different to the others that have come out, there has to be a reason for it. There's no way she would spend big bucks trying to stop it if it was just another run of the mill "tell all". I think we will find out sooner then later who the author is, it will get leaked.
Either way I really hope this book sees the light of day, count me in on the list of people who will buy it.

How that can be "unfair" is beyond me since I purposely did not mention any names. I'll leave it at that, as I doubt this will be posted either. question, I am with you on your opinion. There is really no way to know who has had posts deleted or not put through at all. And, given the bugginess of blogger, sometimes things just don't post. I usually understand why I've been censored. As we just saw, Admin will often lay down a boundary that falls between the cracks of the rules. You aren't the only one who did not get posted--I also submitted my theory which did not publish.

I also wonder who told them that the trips are connected to filming? (Kate, obviously). I don't think kids that young would connect that the fun trips (well some of the time) would stop if filming stopped. How would they know one had anything to do with the other? After all they were filmed at home too and in other facets of their lives. I think a kid would just assume that aside from the presence of the cameras and crew everything else would continue, including the house, the freebies and the trips.
Kate planted it in their heads that when filming ends the FUN ends. She never let them consider that they could still have some fun without the cameras, if their own darn mother would stop blowing so much money on herself and start a vacation fund.
Just wanted to say a few thoughts about Sandusky: He will most likely receive special treatment in prison to protect him from the other prisoners. It is a very sad irony that his vulnerable victims had no protection from that monster.
It is easy to forget that his wife is also a victim of his abuse. How horrific to discover that her husband, who made a career in college athletics and founded a sports program for at-risk youth was a serial child abuser. Unlike the coaches and others who witnessed or were informed of the abuse, I believe that it is possible that she either didn't see the signs or didn't know what she was seeing. I am sure that her life is a living hell. There will likely be many civil lawsuits and she will be financially and emotionally devestated. Until I hear plausible evidence that she knew and looked the other way, she has my compassion. He is a skilled psychopath who --thanks to his enablers--managed to live a double life in plain view.
Sandusky is a pig and got caught finally...His own adopted son said he was sexually abused by him. How sad it took this long.How sad it took this many cases. This puke should sit in prison until he dies.

This is how you publish a revealing no holds barred tell all about the Gosselins. I think the babysitter quoted anonymously at the end of the piece is the same person behind Gosselin book. She was inside that house and bound by a confidentiality agreement, and that agreement likely expired on June 21, 2012, which I am guessing is 5 years after her employment there.
She is also a local, and either saw or was told about Deana leaving the house at Easter wearing boots, which she referenced in that creepy tweet to Kate to make her feel nervous and under attack.
I am sure she feels venom towards Kate for how she was treated during her employment, and likely how she was fired.

Paige tweeted to Kate "you've been quiet lately...what's wrong?" and that was when Kate said she was just busy cuz she didn't have an 8 hour break anymore. First of all, everyone knows that Kate only twatters when the kids ARE there so shouldn't that mean she would be twittering all day?! I think this book thing has her worried and Kate has had to enter into the adult world for a while...twittering with teenagers is where she loves to be because she is by definition a teenager mentally, but right now her mind is elsewhere. I do agree that she has definitely told her kids that no show means no fun and no trips! I don't think she has abused the kids so I don't think that's what this book is about. I do think that there might be something unethical surrounding their conception and there will probably be a lot of exposure around Kate and how fake she really is....the author does say "how Kate fooled the world"....whatever it is, there has to be some truth there because miss Kate really has her panties in a wad if she is willing to fork over the hair-frying money that the kids earned

Your children miss the film crew? The attention, trips, gifts(pool slide, playhouses,etc) have stopped coming. They want this back according to your frequent comments on the subject. Do you really this thinks that this means they are entitled to have the film crew back, just because they "want" it?
Maybe the Gosselin children have had their share of being filmed and the perks that went along with it Kate. It sure appears that way. As if filming for a reality TV show was ever based on an act of charity because children want the experience, don't you think it would be time for someone else to have a turn? What about taking some poor, inner city children on vacation at the beach and filming their fun- that would sure be real. Not everyone does have a pool in their back yard if you can believe that.
In the end though, TV programming is not done based on a child's wishes in any event. If I was the mother of a child wanting to be back on TV, I would be seriously concerned with WHY they wanted to be filmed and what needs of theirs were being unmet. If it is attention they need, you are fortunate to be in a prime position able to give it to them. They don't need a film crew Kate, just step up to the plate and be their mother.

Love My Grandsons, you sound like so much fun for your grandchildren that I'm sure that all this week they have been asking "When are we going to Grandma's?" They are so lucky to have you in their life, you are making memories for them that they will never forget. I never had grandparents and swore that the day I would be a Mammie I would give them all my love, spoil them (to a point), read to them, sit on the floor and play with them, explore in the woods, catch bugs, everything that I missed out on, just so that they would remember me in their stories when I am gone.
Canadianmom, my very good friend has an autistic child and I see the challenges she faces everyday, and how much effort it takes for what others would consider a minor accomplishment. You and your son have all my respect, congratulations to you both, I know how hard he has worked for his award.
If this book is ever published I will certainly read it. I think that Kate has done something very wrong in her past. This is JMO but I have an inkling that it has something to do with abuse, although for the children's sake, I hope this is not so.

One person I don't think wrote this book is LemsGarden. I know her personally, have spoken with her on the phone, emailed frequently. She is a really nice person and she does love facts, not supposition. But she is not local to Kate, she lives in the southwest and she would never write scriptures using them as a threat. No way. A salacious tell all would not be her style at all. I've seen her defend Kate many times and bends over backwards to be fair to people. We met at the beginning of this Gosselin mess on a forum, realized we lived close and started talking to each other.

Thanks to Mama Mia, I dug up this gem that gives further credence to the possibility of Jessica Remo being a potential candidate, though I'm not sure her apparent style/demeanor would have created gosselinbook.com. Personally, I'm in the camp that thinks the author is Hughe Dillon - the other Philly reporter/photographer. Back during the Red Cross event Kate attended in March 2012, as you'll recall he was saying some similar stuff about having witnessed something and has a picture that would make headlines around the world. He kept delaying the release of that photo and then ultimately backtracked and said it was just that shot of her with the fortune teller.

A Q&A with Jessica Remo about the reporting for her March 2009 article “Jon + Kate + 8 = $$$”
Ms Kreider is soooo boring compared to real life. Currently we Virginians have a huge controversy going on about the university of Virginia, the Board of Visitors which is the governing body, all appointed because of political connections, fired the first female president of the University with no hint in advance to the university community, so Charlottesville is in an uproar, the behind the scenes players involve mega wealthy alums, the Rector (head of the Board of Visitors) acts surprised by the response, the faculty is in revolt, and even Katie Couric got into it by tweeting her support for the fired President Sullivan (who might get rehired on Tuesday) and her admiration of the student newspaper the Cavalier Daily that brought to light lots of info with their Freedom of Information Act request of the Rectors emails. Hey, UVA is a public institution and those emails are on servers owned by the Commonwealth of Virginia. Anybody interested can go to www.cavalierdaily.com and read a timeline of the whole saga.
Katie Couric is a UVA grad who worked on the campus paper, and she gave the commencement address in May, and she like most everyone else was shocked by President Sullivans ouster and wants her reinstatement. And a former editor of the Cavalier Daily works now at the Washington Post, so any info the student paper has is immediately shared, so even folks ” inside the Beltway” are aware of what's going on and also riled up! Inside the Beltway means folks who live in and around DC which is its own unique cultural area.
Anyway, no one could make this stuff up! It is just as much fun as watching Revenge, minus the murders of course.
Anyway... Speculating on ”gosselin book”. I have not read all replies, but one thing occurred to me. What if there is proof that the entire infertility thing was a lie? By proof I mean evidence that there was a pregnancy prior to the marriage. A pregnancy with someone else? This is wild speculation only. reading here, I was trying to think of what would be something Ms Kreider would try so hard to hide, and that would be something. It will probably turn out to be something very mediocre, pedestrian, and boring just typical for her, like she was mean to girls in her church group or she was nasty to coworkers or she cheated on her exams in nursing school.
"The kids miss the crew?" Really Kate?
Do they miss their grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins? Do they miss Beth, Ashley, Jamie, and all other banished people who seemed to really care about them?
"Crew" = $$$$$, trips and your mug on tv. There were very obvious instances on the RV trip that at least a couple of your kids do not enjoy filming and obviously would not want that behavior taped for all to see. What you say, does not make it true. It's a shame you can't be honest and admit that some of the kids do not want to film and should be grateful for all that you received on your kids' backs. Tweens need privacy, not every moment of their lives taped for all to see. Wake up and think of someone other than yourself, for once. Get a new brand, (if you can) and leave your kids alone. Stop projecting your desires on them.

T'S NOT ABOUT THE AUTHOR
I never intended for there to be a mystery surrounding the author of the Gosselin Book.
I had every intention of releasing this book in some capacity on June 22, 2012. Two years ago, after getting much positive feedback from four publishers in New York City, I was left with the option of having the book published professionally, but thereby having my words edited and polished and having a great deal of the book's heart cut out for fear of litigation. One publisher even suggested that I change the name of the subject.
Plan B was that the book was going to be self-published and the countdown on gosselinbook.com was more of a way to push me to get it done, as I’ve been working on this for several years.
When the legal notice came to me, I left the countdown running because I held out hope until the last minute that I would be able to at the very least put an open PDF out there for all to read, free of charge. That didn’t work out and I apologized for the delay, but the fact is, the delay came from Kate Gosselin and her lawyers.
I take them at their word when they tell me “…we will protect and enforce all of our client’s rights and remedies, including, but not limited to advancing an action against you, in which you will be held liable for substantial damages. You act at your own peril.”
If I was single the book would have been released as is and the chips could fall where they may. I’m not single. I have a wife and three young children to consider.
The book will be released the moment I feel comfortable with the legal situation. I’m there now in my own head but obviously I’d like to hear it from a lawyer on the same playing field as Kate’s very well-established representation. I’m working on that at this time.
The book’s cover has my name on it but again this was never about me. I don’t want or need attention for myself and I thought that’s how I would come off if I threw my name out there before any book was released.
I will stand in front of this book and any statements made in the book. There is no anonymous mystery author. I simply have no name recognition that would excite anyone. I’ve read the speculation and I wish the book was coming from any one of the people mentioned as possible authors, but they choose to remain silent.
That’s the whole point here. Everyone in the know has remained silent, I believe due to legal threats like the one I received over a month ago.
I believe that Kate has known all along whom the author of the book is and that’s why the legal action was taken. The Tweets sent to her were for her, and not to be interpreted, or attempted to be understood by people unfamiliar with the Gosselin story. They were cryptic but they had meaning to her. I believe that she knows what’s in the book and that she knows it’s very real.

So book has a author's name now. She is definitely concerned about something in that book, and while I have no strong desire to plow through 37 chapters of Katie Irene Kreider Gosselin, I am curious about what is spooking her into spending $$$ on a C/ D letter.
Apparently there's an accusation I wrote the book. I'm glad the real author came forward--and it's a he, I didn't expect that. So there, it's not me. I know it's hard for the sheeple to believe someone wouldn't go all around the internet using various socks, but if I'm going to write a book I would own it. (Actually, I am writing a book, lol, but it's a fictional thing set in the Civil War. If I'm going to write I'm not going to waste it on Kate!) And I certainly wouldn't play dumb to you all like I had nothing to do with it. I respect you more than that.

Sorry to take so long to respond.... I agree that kart and Casey Anthony are not in the same ball park and I didn't mean to suggest they were, at all. One got away with murder (in my humble opinion) and the other is simply a poor excuse for a mother and human being. Two different animals...........
I just used Casey as an example of attorney getting signed-over rights to the story after trial. Whether he won or lost, Casey's lawyer would go on to make money on a book. She had no money that I know of to pay him. But he also got great name recognition for his work on her trial.
I may be way wrong, but I thought this kind of thing (signing over story rights) was done in certain high profile inability-to-pay cases. But then, I could very well be wrong and misinformed. Not a lawyer, most of info comes from reading, reading, reading.
Of course, ** I ** certainly would not want the name recognition associated with that particular client, but hey, like kart believes, 'it doesn't matter what they are saying, just as long as they are talking about you'...........

Since the name has been revealed, I think I'd be more concerned about attacks from the sheeple's champion vetter/detective and her minions rather than from threats from Kate's legal team.
If someone has a lot of time on his/her hands, looking up all the Bible verses referred to may lend some clues...!
I don't think it's one or two "bombshells," I think it's ALL the things most of us already know, compiled with proof and backstories. So it WILL be a huge entertainment bombshell for the many people who never paid much attention to her in the first place. For those of us who have had her number since the beginning it will only be confirmation with maybe some details fleshed out. That's my guess anyway, especially considering the author says this is the best Gosselin blog and we're right on most of the time.
So, which LIE do you most want to see disproven? My top two are: proof that she was not having fertility problems and proof of her inappropriate relationship with Steve. Proving she lied about the infertility basically proves that she really was masterminding this whole scenario all along - to have multiples and exploit them for fame, attention, and $$$$.

The sheeple are bleating now I bet. Robert Hoffman needs to go public and do some interviews. It will bring to light that Kate is scared what's in the book. But I do wish it was someone within the immediate family. I do believe his assertion that all have kept quiet because Kate has the bucks to beat them down. Just look what she did to Jon with the divorce settlement! That woman has a stockpile of cash.
I think what ever the book is about has to do solely with the children and their treatment. The author has said that he is writing it because he has concerns for the children. I don't think he is going to bring out an abortion or past pregnancy. I don't think he is going to bring out an affair that Kate is having with PB or anyone else. That would only hurt the children. I think it has to do with the abuse the children have endured.
When I first started watching the show I watched it for the same reasons that everyone else did. To see how this family managed the day to day life with so many kids at once. I am very naive and didn't realize that they were getting paid to show us or if they were not that much. I thought they paid for the trips and everything else they had. We were just able to watch them live their lives. Then I started to wonder how a family of 10 could afford to go to all these places when my family could not afford to do these things. Plus I couldn't believe how Kate would treat her husband and kids. Sitting around on her plastic throne spouting off orders to all of them. That is when I took to the internet and did some research. I found GWOP and eventually this site and Preesi's. I found there were lots of people that had the same views as I have. I stopped watching that show after I started reading what was really going on and have never watched again.
Thank you Admin for running such a wonderful blog. I love to read everyone's comments. There are so many intuitive and insightful people here. I hope this blog goes on for many years after the Gosselin saga has finally ended.
Although I am not sure what to make of this book, if Kate has hired "high priced" attorneys to squash it, there may be some things she wants to keep hidden.
We all know she is cheap as cheap comes, no longer has TLC to fight her legal battles(unless it was extended beyond her contract, for them, as well as her), so one has to wonder why she is spending mega bucks -money for C & D Order in this matter.
Don't know who Robert Hoffman is, his link to new info, but for Kate to spend a nickle on anything, other than herself speaks volumes. In my opinion.

My son is getting a "most improvement" award. He has autism (and very severe ADHD) and this year he was in a "regular" class for the first time, grade 2. He did amazingly well, socially and academically. He made so many gains this year and I'm so super proud of him. Hes such an awesome kid and I'm so glad that I decided to put him in a regular class this past year. He was blessed with an amazing teacher and a great group of classmates that accepted and welcomed him. He even has a little girlfriend, lol! Its been a great year, he worked so hard to get where he is. :)

Now you are out claiming you never intended to make your identity a secret, and you turned down 4 publishers to self publish so you could keep the meat and potatoes (dirt) in this story. Come on! Everyone knows the entertainment world exists because of Confidentiality Agreements. That is the only way illusions are maintained. Kate has nobody in her circle without one, and that means if one blabs and you write about it, she is within her rights to sue them for damages and sue you for the profits from your book. It is win win for Kate. And I am sure a publisher told you this when they turned you down. Nobody is publishing a story they can't make money on.
The other aspect is defamation libel. It costs Kate $200 to file a lawsuit against you, and you either spend hundreds of thousands defending yourself or risk a default judgement in her favour, again she wins. There is no money to be made here. Then you claim you wanted to put up a free PDF but have a wife and kids to protect. So you pretty much know then that you have nothing. You don't have factual legal information you can publish, and Kate knows it.

You can't really default someone on a defamation lawsuit if you are a public figure since you have the burden of proof. And it does not cost $200 to file a lawsuit with those lawyers. Try at least $2,000.
I'm also not sure I agree you can sue the person down the telephone line who heard confidential information then printed it, I'd have to further research it. The writer is not bound by a confidentiality agreement. The person telling them may be bound, but it's not the fault of the writer if someone blabs to them. You can't bind every person your nanny ever talks to to a CA. I have never in my life heard of people down the telephone line being sued. Only the actual person who signed the CA gets sued.
It's really not an open and shut case or win-win hardly EVER for a public figure. It's actually outrageously, incredibly hard for a public figure like Kate to prevail in a defamation suit. Google around, there are maybe a handful of defamation lawsuits you ever hear celebs winning. Most of them bite the dust or never even start. I have no idea what to make of the book, but I do have to say the letter sounds like a scare tactic for someone who really doesn't have much of a case. The more you use scare tactics in my experience, the more evident it is you don't have much of a case. JMO.

Probably because the twins are challenging her on spending more time with their friends. That is what tweens want and need. Most kids at this age want to spread their wings and spend time with friends as much as possible. The "Kate sleepovers" are not cutting it anymore. But Kate still tries to glamorize sleepovers with her. These 2 girls most likely want to be with their friends, not her. Get over yourself Kate.
Weren't there some brief statements some time ago from nurses that Kate had worked with that said she expressed disappointment during her first pregnancy that it was 'only' twins? That right off, she had hoped and planned for HOMs? Perhaps that is what Mr Hoffman has dug into - that backstory of her planning all along. Which most of us here have always 'known' anyway.
But it still doesnt make sense - she could just deny it or say "well I always wanted a large family..." I guess I am with the group that thinks it simply must be about abuse and neglect of the children and folks going on record with Mr Hoffman about what they witnessed.

Sadly it sounds like it might be a guilt trip to me. Oh, Sadie invited you over. But don't you want to spend the night with mommy? We can watch a movie and make popcorn. I totally understand a Mommy having difficulty seeing kids grow up and just wanting to be their bestie. One possible solution is to offer to have the sleepover at YOUR house. That way the kids are still around, you don't have to worry about them, and they still get to be with age appropriate friends. They might even include you a bit. They need to spread their wings and go to other friends' houses too at some point, but it's better than nothing.
I have a feeling this book may go into more detail about how Kate has used the children to support her own agenda and also how she treats them. Yes, there have been numerous articles, tabloid stories, even quotes from unnamed sources. However, to find them you have to search for them. This book would put it all into one nice tidy little package to be preserved forever. It might even name sources.
This could be the reason Kate is fighting it. It's one thing to say "don't listen to false stories in tabloids", but to have documented fact written about her is a whole different story.

Are you serious? Everyone in Kate's circle has a C/A? That's totally impossible, especially if whatever secret he is holding was knowledge before Kate and Jon even thought about getting such agreements. They even went into this initially without the presence of an attorney, so I doubt if they even knew what a C/A was at that point!
Admin is right about filing a lawsuit. This would cost her thousands of dollars to even get it started, plus at their billing rate, and the fact that it could be tied up in court for who knows how long would cost her much more than organic milk that's not on sale. It would be financially crippling for her and I think that she knows it.
What I don't understand is the "cryptic" tweeting. Why? What purpose did it serve other than to alert her that there may be a book that would reveal a secret? Also, adding to the twins' situation, maybe they don't have real friends either. If that's the case, whose fault is that! Kate talking them up on Twitter doesn't help matters. We never see pictures ( not that we should) on their birthday etc. with friends- bf Talia is long gone. They didn't seem particularly friendly with Jamie's twins on the RV trip. At least Cara has lax team mates.
If Cara is playing lacrosse surely she has a bunch of lacrosse friends. We had sleepovers and parties all the time with teammates when I played high school sports, you spent so much time with your team they became your best friends. IIRC, someone -- Werny Gal, I think -- said he had to do a last minute revision of his previous book and remove a lot of material that showed KK in a, shall we say -- less than favorable light -- because of her threats and legal machinations. Maybe he's trying to do an end run around her and get the material in print now? The previous book pretty much trashed Jon and left KK more or less unscathed. He reportedly had a lot of dirt on her.

I think the author would have done very well to change the title and let a big publishing company gloss it up for him and back him up. I hope it is not too late. John Travolta went after that guy because the story was already out, not before.
I wish he had given no forewarning, another title, etc. I think a chapter book about KT would be a NYT best-seller. I think he just got consumed with the story and got caught up in the KTitis. I am thinking we will never know. There is a back story in there somewhere and KT knows what would have been in the book. I hope he doesn't back down and gets good representation.

I hope so. Teams can have cliques sometimes. When my daughter was moved up to a new higher team, she was basically ignored for the whole season.
Also children who have anger issues and don't play well with others off the field may not have friends. I sincerely hope Cara does. Not just bf Mady and bf Kate.at least she's in sports, unlike the other G kids.
The G kids do seem to argue and fought more than usual-some of them were pretty nasty to Jamie's son, and many fought amongst themselves or expressed anger at home- thus Jon's stickers for no fighting system, and of course the expulsion situation.

I looked up all the bible verses this morning and am extremely intrigued by this guy's motive for his book. How will this book change Kate's life I wonder. I got the impression he is a religious person and truly believes Kate will reap what she sows and is just letting her know that by all the verses. Bad me, went and looked at the ice cream pics - surprised to see Kate actually smiling in a few, but then the evil scowl - she could learn a few points about poker face, no scowl, from her 11 yr old. Who is also dressed more appropriately than her mother. Kate is now so slender, which does look good, that her fake boobs look even more fake, and hang strangely low on her frame. I am so glad Jerry Sadusky was found guilty. My husband was afraid he would walk like a lot of high profile people do but thankfully the brave victims testified. I have to say that I am appalled at the physical action (or lack thereof) of Mike McQueery(sp). If my husband had walked into a shower room and saw an adult man sexually abusing a 10 year old boy, he wouldn't have just made a noise to let the adult man know someone else was there. He would have removed the man from the boy, gotten the boy out of harms way, kicked the sh!t out of the adult man, got the boy dressed, contacted his parents and then marched them all down to the police station to file a complaint. I can't believe that McQueery thinks he did enough. People think Joe Paterno didn't do enough. Maybe he didn't. But McQueery witnessed it first hand. He should have done more. This was back in 2002. How many boys could have been spared if he had contacted the police himself. He witnessed a crime for crying out loud and he doesn't report it to the police himself and get that poor boy out of harms way. Can you imagine what that boy was thinking; that he was not helped even though another adult saw what was happening. Unbelievable. And he is considered the whistleblower. In my opinion, he did not come close to doing enough.

Jerry Sandusky issue...so glad he was convicted! It's a shame so many within the system ignored the evidence to maintain their reputation. I think all involved should be fired (the man who witnessed the shower assault....leaves, goes home, and calls his father...he should have broken it up immediately and called the POLICE.)
We had a case here in Tx last week, a young father walked in on a man raping his 5 yr old, and beat him to death (not intentionally, he beat him, called 911..thank goodness he was exonerated of all charges).
There are many others as well...I thought the family's pr statement regarding the victims was an effort to appease..I read not too long ago the wife was very aware of what was going on and turned a blind eye...those victims should sue for every penny they can get.

2. Doesn't publicize via ominous Twitter messages or an obscure blog.
3. And, just guessing, but if they are from the US? Don't set a countdown counter to end on a Thursday. Legitimate media in the US(of all sorts - video, music, books) have NEW RELEASE dates on Tuesdays. I've sat in line many a Monday late-night waiting for the release of something.

You know what's really crazy? Decades ago Penn State was featured in some educational psychology videos for high school students that I watched in my class. The topic was group think and how groups of people can get swept up in a message and can't think clearly or rationally. They were talking about sports, but isn't that exactly what happened here, everyone was so afraid to let this information come out because they feared it would run contrary to the message and the group. Actually, I too looked at the pics, of kate, in the orange dress. Kate looks like a woman in her 50's. Take a real close look, her boobs are sagging, they look like they are almost down to her waste, she has no tone or muscle, everything is sagged. Her neck is wrinkle city. She even has wrinkles around her eyes. With that tanned skin, it makes her old looking, not young and tanned.
And this crap of kate being a size 4, not!, try more of a size 10, with boobs that big, there is no way Kate can fit into a size 4 dress , or top. I knew a girl in HS, who was a d cup on top, which made her a size 12-14 and a size 2 on the bottom. She was working to save up for a breast reduction, she had to have all tops, taken to seamtress, to be alter, to fit her, and she had terrible back pain, wore a full length bra, with back support. Take notice of the women/models who are a size 0-6, they have very little boobs.

Lawsuit settlements are one thing. It gets more complicated when you are trying to hush up an employee from things they've witnessed. For instance, it would be very hard to legally bind a nanny from disclosing things like real abuse. You can't contract away things like that. There's a good contracts article out there about how shutting up an employee is a complicated thing, I'll try to find it again. It's about how Michael Jackson and David Beckham and Tom Cruise all wrote up shoddy confidentiality agreements that didn't hold up.
It's obvious if she is worried about what true information about her will get out. I'm sure there are lots of things she doesn't want the world to know.
I want to see all the nasty details in her past brought light. What will happen to her reputation then? Justice is sweet and she should be held accountable for her actions.

We've all likely signed a Confidentiality Agreement without being aware because this is common practice thanks to the internet. Hotels don't want negative reviews on Trip Advisor,for example, so some add language to the check in policy that says they own the intellectual property rights to your experience there, meaning don't publish a bad review on Trip Advisor or else. I've seen negative reviews pulled off this site with the notification that it violated the terms of service of that establishment. I've also seen hilarious stories from people who refused to sign and had to find accommodations late at night elsewhere. So Kate has no difficulty whatsoever locking up her press. We've seen her inner circle - Jon, Beth, Jody, Kevin, Nana Janette, etc, all paid by the show, all muzzled. And what a smart move it was for Kevin to appear before those hearings, bound to tell the truth, and yet all he had to spill was that the show faked Christmas to get the kids reaction. I am also not getting why people are saying Kate is paying high legal fees to stop this book. Buddy got a standard cease and desist form letter, the kind lawyers send out all the time for about $500. Maybe this law firm charged double that but clearly there Kate is not being represented, nor are there court fees or discovery costs happening here.
I think Kate's life is as sad and lonely as she tells it to be, having dinner with her make up artist, the hired help. There is nobody in her life because to be there they have to employed, and muzzled.
Steve-arazzi takes the pictures and submits them to ROL. Slow news day? Print the pictures of Kate. Jon just had an interview with People? Print the pictures of Kate. There are no paps following her every move in PA any more. Those days are long gone. No one cares. Steve, Steve, Steve-arazzi!

I wrote this post this morning at 4:00am. Note it directed not only to Kate but to her guest today, Deanna. Kate knew that this book was suppose to come out at midnight on June 21. She invites Deanna and HER MAN to her house 2 days later. Is this timing a coincidence? Kate has made at least 2 tweets today that Deanna was bringing HER MAN. Why is Kate throwing that in our faces...like we care she has a boyfriend. I think there may be some to this.
And i just want to apologize for not posting last night while we entertained visiting friends for dinner. So note to Kate - it is entirely possible to grill, serve dinner and enjoy company AND shut down the electronics too.
And while she's entertaining, she is also grifting for her new fave vegan energy bar. Graciious and attentive hostess, that one.
Yeah, what's up with Deanna and " her man"? Weird. And the pap photos of Kate and Mady? Who is WATCHING the kids? Why no pap photos of grilling out or the car washing? Why does she select Mady for the photo op? She really makes me sick with the pap photos. Must have needed some pocket cash!

Of course she is being represented. If they sent a letter, they are the attorney of record. Attorneys charge retainers. Attorneys bill by the hour. Of course Kate is paying for their time and advice, whether the letter sent is a form letter or not. They are not doing this for free simply because Kate is the single mother of EIGHT children.

A sole practitioner just getting started might charge you $500 for a form letter. But a reputable boutique firm in Century City like this that represents celebrities is not going to give their services away that easily. Like I said before you are paying big bucks for the name. It's the Mercedes of bully law firms and you have to pay for that Mercedes. I still find it ridiculous Kate couldn't just march herself down to any local attorney's office in PA and support her local economy. Hey Kate, we can write letters like this to! Whenever it's anything important she always goes to NY or LA. It's pathetic.

Dang, you ain't kidding. Those puppies are heading south quickly! When she first had the 'good bra', she was seen in a blue bikini talking to Steve's wife (who was sitting in her car). Kate's girls were up front and at attention, so rounded on top they looked brand new off the showroom floor. Now, they are sagging just like a real pair. LOL.

I don't even know where to begin about the Gosselin family.
I've frankly had enough. In the front-page story in today's Reading Eagle, the mother Kate used, to quote the story, "a flurry of adjectives to describe the past year -- exhausting, strange, surreal, challenging and scary."
Not one of those words even comes close to being positive. Then, almost as if she realized that just a second too late, she added, "Did I say exciting?"
Later on, she does say, "Look at those beautiful faces, how can't you keep going? They're awesome."
So I guess it isn't all torture.
This family has had an endless outpouring of volunteer hours, money and donations both monetary and of necessary items. But still they ask for more.
Training additional volunteers to help is apparently too much work so they are looking for a $25,000 donation to extend the use of a part-time nurse.
And by saying you are "praying" for something doesn't make it any more holy than it is ... looking for free handouts to be able to manage a life that YOU created. And for that matter, don't seem to be too happy about.
The babies eat donated food and sleep in donated cribs. They stay dry in donated diapers.
The Gosselins seem content to allow everyone else, and even have come to expect everyone else, to pick up the tab for what they knew would be a very high-cost lifestyle choice. The father, Jonathan, didn't even have a job for much of the past year.
The Gosselins used fertility drugs to have their twin daughters, now 4. They again used the drugs to conceive the sextuplets. They had a choice. This wasn’t a natural act, something they could not have controlled.
By saying they didn’t want to reduce the number of children, saying it goes against their beliefs, how do they justify using fertility drugs to achieve such a number in the first place? How is using fertility drugs considered God's will?
And yet the donations kept pouring in. They received a mind-numbing amount of support yet she says she is "praying for just one more year" of help.
I have three children, by choice. To support those three children and have a lifestyle we can be happy about, my husband and I work full-time and he has freelancing on the side which equates to more than a part-time job.
The Gosselins are planning to move to Harrisburg to be closer to Jonathan's job. What about the house they are now in? The one that was renovated by volunteers, using donated money, that made their house liveable for 10 people?
Maybe they should stop worrying so much about where the next handout is coming from, and instead concentrate on their healthy, hopefully happy, children, and be tremendously thankful for what they have received and continue to receive.

I don't think I really need to actually comment ... the article in today's Reading Eagle speaks for itself. Or rather Kate Gosselin speaks for herself.
Since when is being at home with eight children you chose to have and supposedly love considered "not fair"? Since the Gosselins decided God wanted them to have sextuplets.

Prayers answered?
According to a post on their Web site dated yesterday, the Gosselins finally have their van. And they bought it themselves!
I am wondering if they felt a sense of pride after buying it, or disappointment that their prayers for a van to miraculously appear in front of their remodeled home weren't answered.
As it turns out, someone pointed out to me that on their 'wish list' they still list a 15-passenger van. Last time I did the math (and who knows, something else could have happened since then. They say the Lord works in mysterious ways ...) there were 10 of them.
Ohhh ... the other five seats may be for the nanny, the nurse, the cook and whoever else they may need to raise their children with/for them.

No news is ... good news?
As far as I recall, the allotted time has passed and if there was a ruling on the Gosselin case, we don't know about it. I wonder if someone were to ask them (hmmmm maybe in church), if they would be as forthcoming as they were when they were going to court about it, or if they will plead the Fifth and stay mum.
I would imagine if they are keeping tight-lipped about it, they got the money. Otherwise wouldn't they be out begging for help?
Funny how they invited the media into their hearing for publicity but we haven't heard a word since.
Could the Gosselins have used someone ELSE for their personal gain?! Shame on me for even considering it.

Since I still get questions and comments regarding our favorite super-sized family, I thought I would pass along a tidbit given to me by a faithful blog reader.
The Gosselins were on Martha Stewart's show today.
According to my 'source,' good ole Martha gave them a year's supply of baby products from Johnson & Johnson.

Like some other posters, I also find it very telling that Kate's surprise guest this weekend is her HIRED makeup artist "friend" given the timing of the Gosselin Book.
And I believe that this HIRED employee "friend" had to sign a Confidentiality Agreement.
Question for Admin ... Given the outcome of some celebrity lawsuits (Beckhams for example)to enforce CDAs and losing, Don't you think Kate would have a hard time winning any litigation preventing past hired help from exposing her lies?
How could Kate argue that someone exposing her lies now would have a direct impact on her earning power since she has been off TV for almost a year with no prospects of any new show.
Also since Kate's whole media personality was built on displaying her PRIVATE life at home with the kids and family, how can she claim she needs to keep her homelife private in a court of law if she herself wasn't even keeping it private?
And since Kate (like the Beckhams) profited on making her life, her home, her marriage, her kids life PUBLIC, how can she argue that someone can not reveal the truth about how she really lives and treats her kids and exposing the lies that were sold as truth? Shouldn't the whistleblower be rewarded instead for revealing the lies and scams that Kate sold as truth? Especially since Kate sold a false media image to the public in order to get endorsements, donations, gifts,etc...
I think Kate should be worried. The longer she is off TV, the less of a defense she would have to enforce CDAs signed years ago.
The truth will come out eventually. I wish it was now but I can wait. Kate lives a sad PATHETIC life trying to hide the truth and trying to keep the lie that TLC invented alive. Pathetically, Kate is the only one who thinks it is working (sorry... and her 10 Sheeple teens and obsessed fans)

I'm glad to see others commenting about her tweet trying to grift from Bellabar. A normal person tweeting would just mention that she enjoys them. Why would you have to include the company's twitter name unless you were hoping the company would show their gratitude by sending you free boxes. I wish companies would stop falling for her ridiculously transparent grifting.
Was wondering to myself how much it cost Khate to get those pics taken and into ROL when I realised that a lovely (sarcasm) offset of Jon's interview was renewed interest and want for photos of the kids. Yuck.

All of those pics were taken by Chris Watts for Inf. Someone over at the GWOP blog said they live near Kate and drove past her house yesterday morning and saw a car parked by her house with a man inside looking like he was waiting for Kate. Sure makes sense to me now, especially because of the gardening pics. They seem to have been taken from a very close range. All pics with Chris Watts, INF stamp are posted at the Daily Mail.
