Kate doesn't need TV to help her raise her family, despite her thinking.
Kate needs a good kick in the butt is what she needs. She needs to be able to figure out how to manage getting a real job, managing a real budget of yearly expensive. She needs to learn how to scale back her wants verses her needs.
There are other ways to make clothes last longer than buying them three sizes too large.
I think she would benefit on having somehow show her how to have a yard sale or two, hopefully someone will show her than shopping for her own clothing at Target isn't the end of the world.
Most of all I think Kate needs to learn that if she's worried about what the kids will read about Jon on the internet, she better learn awfully fast how her kids are going to feel when they might look up stuff she's said about them.
"Oh, mom really thinks we are burdens because we cost her so much." Yeah, way to go Kate. Having kids without doubt I am sure is expensive, nobody said it would be cheap. But people everyday all over the world learn how to function without having childish meltdowns and complaining about how much their kids cost at almost every turn or bump in the road.

I get so frustrated with this saga. I have stayed current on the saga through this blog (thank you ) and another one. The twists and turns are unbelievable. And as others have said “you can’t make this stuff up, nobody would believe you”.
I have a friend who has never seen a single episode of J/K+8 or K+8 but yet she is an expert because of the tabloids. She is still convinced that Jon is a sleeze ball because of his wild period. I try to explain that that was two years ago, he’s now working in a routine IT job, providing child support, Jon didn’t leave Kate, Kate left Jon long before Jon walked out the door. My friend doesn’t realize time has passed and Kate has marched forward to fame, fortune, on the backs of others.
It got me to thinking why doesn’t my friend “get it” that it’s mostly Kate’s fault, not Jon’s, though Jon was certainly involved. It’s because of the media, period. Kate has been allowed to say whatever she wants, truth or lies doesn’t matter. The general public doesn’t know the truth. We at this blog have informed each other through the years of what’s going on so we know.
Why should the general public care about this family? The public should care about the Gosselins, not just because of the kids, but what this saga has started. This is the wild west of no laws to protect children. And isn’t what it’s about. Protect the children.

I wish one reputable writer would pick up the story of the church begging followed by the purchase of the house. A really good detailed story would prove fraud and pandering.
In the not too distant future, Kate, herself, may be asking this photographer to put out this mystery photo (if there is one) when she gets so desperate that she needs something to bring her back into the media spotlight.

Her wanting to make the kids clothes last a couple of years could be another explaination as to why they get fed like birds. Most moms are amazed at how fast their kids grow, going thru 2 different shoe sizes within a year and outgrowing their jeans before winter is over. Probably not too many. They are still on vacation - spring break. They're at Disney, the Bahamas, New England, out west, visiting grandparents who live in other states, wherever. You know that time of the year when most of the kids at school go away with their parents, but some have to stay at home cleaning out the garage with their mother.
1. Menu Monday: Tortilla soup- it doesn't look either good or bad, probably not something I would make.I would rather have tortillas OR soup. Kate relies on recipes (lol) a lot as well as canned and frozen products.
2. The 'outfit'- the first shot I saw without her legs, was not bad IMO except the feathery fringe...but her legs do not look muscular to me; they look chunky and I agree that was a poor shoes choice. Her roots show and she actually didn't look like she had much make-up on or too much of a hairstyle. I think she'd look better with a shorter less-platinum shade. She also looks like she's lost weight mainly in her face and arms- appears quite top-heavy with that 'good bra' on for her shriveled look.
And her tortilla soup, courtesy of allrecioes.com, is AMAZINGLY delicious, especially with the Kate additions - that would be extra tortilla strips. Funny how after we all saw her process 200 lbs of chicken parts, this "new" recipe starts with a supermarket rotisserie chicken. 1 chicken - serves 8 growing children.
Well, as usual, Kates both blogs are nothing the rest of us have never done. Her CC blog & her own blog, are one in the same, PLEASE! everyone since they started to make clothes, knows that if you have a big family, hand-me-downs are a standard. Ask the Duggars (or any other large family), they been doing that for 20+ years. Her monday menue sounds fine, but for me and the other people who have to watch salt content, this is a no go recipe, way too much salt. I bought one of those bag type soup, which Kate made and it had 700 salt in it, and all I had to do is add water, and extra(veggies) if I want to, it was really good. Kate's blogs are becoming more LAMEO than ever. You young moms who think Kate is the greatest thing since sliced bread, you need to hang out with your own mom and mother-in-law and grandparents, they have way more knowledge than Kate Gosselin, will ever have.
Here is something I tried over the weekend: it's by Veleeta: Tuna casserole in a box: comes with liguid veleeta cheese, season powder, noodles with veggies, just add tuna. It was really good, not too salty and you can add extra veggies to it, and you cook it in the skillet. it even taste good cold. It's new on the market, they also have others you make with hamburger, and beef.
I didn't see the picture of her shoes, but someone mentioned they looked way too big. Maybe our snark about her big toe hanging over her shoes caused her to go up a size or two. : )
If Kate had nothing to hide, she wouldn't have gone off on the photog. Period.

Mary, I think you hit the nail on the head. From what I can piece together, Hugh asked Kate for a picture with her boyfriend by the carosel. "Bodyguard" it sounds like Kate snapped back w/ bitchy attitude and said only she would be posing for a picture. This pissed him off. Maybe he got an incriminating picture when the show filmed in Philly in Dec. 2010? Maybe he knows for a fact they are together? By the way Kate freaked out, I think he knows something.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are in New Orleans. They are out with their kids doing normal activities. They probably have and need a bodyguard. But, he/she is not shown in any photos. Also, not shown in any photo is a panic in the streets. Pap shoots show smiles and hand holding.

Kid's don't have to show bruises to make it abuse, something I see Kate balking at. Sure her kids might not be physically damaged but emotionally I think there could be potential issues or concerns here.

Is anyone else suspicious that this photog + Kate + Steve + twitter dustup happens just as Jon is getting his freedom? I think it is possible that Kate was worried that Jon would have some big announcement and somehow took this as an opportunity to get publicity for herself. Even bad publicity is still publicity and her name is out there today.
Thing I wonder about some narcissists who have kids, is behind closed doors it can be absolutely hellish but in public they can appear absolutely normal to most people.
The ones who don't get caught tend to get really cocky almost this mind set that just because they are parents it means they haven't done anything wrong. It's not entirely true.
My experience comes from control, what you weren't and were allowed to do or that you had to do things a certain way or do it over until you got it right.
Kate's been caught as she says chalking it up to "bad days," we all have them but when your "bad days," become what you are known for I would take a second look.
All the little stories that have been out about Kate, her backpedaling constantly to smooth over issues with her kids the claims of how they love filming all feel to me her ways of smoothing over anything that could be deemed wrong.
If she does turn on TLC, yeah, uh, who do you think is going to win that battle? TLC.
TLC can say, "We never forced Kate to do anything she did not want to." Which is entirely true. Kate just wanted that free ride for as long as possible.

If Kate were to ever get a real job, like say the same amount that Jon earns, would Jon still be required to pay child support? Probably but I don't know.

Marie, I think the one area Kate might be able to get TLC is on not paying the kids. I think there's a possibility TLC could be ordered to give them back payment.
There are also some issues with signing a contract without a lawyer. There might be undue influence issues. It's a slim one, but I don't think it's completely out of line that she might have something here. I don't know enough about what was said and done at the signing of those contracts to know for sure.
He is like Kate. Peas in a pod. He just keeps digging himself in deeper. It's questionable that he even saw Steve with his arm around Kate. I wouldn't believe it unless I saw a photo. He's out for attention, and he got it this weekend.

The thing is, though, she should have ignored him and not engaged him. If she knew he had nothing, then why even start with him, much less keep it going? Mommie Dearest is clearly feeling her oats on Twitter tonight. Her relief is palpable--she dodged a bullet of some sort, just what sort we may never know, but that doesn't really matter so much to me. I am encouraged that every story today has focused on her "appearance" of impropriety and how long it has gone on, and no one wasted any ink on how gracious and giving she was to have so graciously graced the RC with her graceful presence.
Kate can badmouth TLC all she wants, but she will live to regret that they are not around to protect her image anymore. And I am 100% convinced that she brought that on herself. We have seen all too clearly that she is not really capable of maintaining this image on her own. She is in need of serious PR rehab, and I have to wonder if the professionals are already queuing up for the challenge. Or if she is seen as a lost cause.

Which brings me to another point. It is absolutely absurd that Kate didn't work her way up to producer of her own show in five years. Lots of other reality families have. She then could have translated that experience to another show and made more money.
She had the opportunity of a lifetime to live and breathe a production for five years and came out of it with absolutely nothing to put on her resume. She was too lazy and stupid to think of this.
TLC can say, "We never forced Kate to do anything she did not want to." Which is entirely true. Kate just wanted that free ride for as long as possible.

I understand how you feel. I asked myself the same question. Why do I dislike Kate so much? She has never done anything to me personally (except put me in that mediocre grouping that includes everyone but Kate and the rich and famous). I really don't care about her kids. Yes, they have a crappy mother, but so do thousands of other children, most of whom are less priviledged than the Gosselin 8. I think it is her sense of entitlement that I despise. How she feels that she and her children deserve more than other families. How she thinks her children are better than ours. Her holidays and picnics and trips have to "one up" everyone elses. Even though it hardly ever looks like anyone is having fun. She also always seems to put herself before her kids. Her needs and wants always come first. And this whole bodyguard thing is so sketchy. I would never allow my husband to be alone with a single (and desperate) woman. A married man should never travel with and escort a woman who is not his wife. That is just asking for trouble. I do not believe most men would not fall into temptation in such a situation. If he is still with his wife, she is one foolish woman. I can't believe they are not separated though, what woman would put up with that? I feel bad for his kids. They are old enough to know what the rumors are. I think that is why is don't like her. Yes. Especially the warden. Pretended to be a Christian, pretended to love the prisoners and want what was best for them, but in fact was just using Andy to help him embezzle money and make him rich and get rid of anyone who would stop him. He even killed another prisoner in order to prevent Andy from leaving jail and exposing his dirty dark secrets. He never counted on karma catching up. So many parallels to so many situations in life including this one. No wonder that movie is such a cult favorite.

The story has a lot of parallels to this situation. Man wrongfully imprisoned. Everyone assumes he did it. He really didn't. I imagine it went something like, I know, I know I have issues and it's depressing sometimes, but I'm muddling through all right I don't see what good therapy will do. When the well-intentioned family and friends press the issue, they get estranged.
We have a lot of good movie references here, don't we. Shawshank is a great movie with some memorable lines. You can surprise a lot of people by telling them it is a Steven King short story.

I'm not really into horror books, I've only ever read The Stand and The Green Mile by Stephen King but I really do wish he would write more mainstream stories. He just tells a great story.

I have always found it particularly odd how she tells the world that she loves her children. I know I have said this before but I don't recollect another mother, famous or just down the road have said that and I have certainly never told anyone that I love my child. To most moms it is a given. Maybe there is nothing I would do for my kids or I will fight to the death for one of my kids or I miss my kids but I have just heard say repeatedly, over and over, that they love their kids.
I guess the only way to understand the mentality of this woman is to bang our collective heads against a brick wall repeatedly until we are dizzy and incoherent and then maybe we could get a glimmer into how her thought process and mind works???

Most of the time, it's the other way around in a parent-child relationship. Oh, they say they love you, they draw you pictures, they can be sooooo sweet! But I never hear parents brag about their kids saying they love them. That's a given. A child's love is pure and unconditional.

Pity Party - how true! It just seems so strange how she always needs to remind everyone that she LOVES her kids. Who is she trying to convince? Words mean nothing - actions say it all. I once heard someone say that most people say they would die for their kids, but truly good parents will LIVE for their kids. They will make good, wise choices in the way they live their life in order to give their children stability, safety, love, direction, discipline, etc. Kate isn't a good parent - she just played one on tv.

I've seen this before but it's worth pointing out that there were several heartbreaking photos that came out of "Jon" giving up the dogs. She sheeple blamed him for everything and said he was mean and awful for taking the precious dogs away from the kids. In reality Kate probably told him her wishes and made him do the dirty work of giving them up.

I don't believe this for a SECOND! I've volunteered lots with the Red Cross and even have been to a benefit, I never heard of such a ridiculous notion. The point of benefits is to raise awareness, not play hide the ball while all the celebrities have fun in secret. Oh, Kate, you are a shameless liar.

While the Gosselin kids were not taken away, I wish someone would have twatted the crack reporter that PA had to draft legislation specifically to protect and provide for the futures of the Gosselin children. And in response to said legislation to provide some very basic protections for the kids, TLC hired a big shot lobbyist to try fight it.
As we all do, I kind of think it's kind of a big deal when the state you reside in has to pass a law to protect your kids- to regulate their working hours and force you to put money away for them, because their gestational carrier was more concerned with buying an estate and fake boobs for herself.

Why should he have to take the kids somewhere on spring break? How many people actually do? We never have. We work. It's been 5 years since we went on a vacation. Are we horrible parents because of it? I don't think so. He's under no obligation to take those kids on ANY vacation.
As for the apartment, yes, I do defend his decision. 1) It depends on what was available at the time. 2) It depends on the cost of what was available. 3) For what little time he has the kids, why should he rent a whole house? Then he'd have to take even more time away from the kids to do yard work, etc. A TWO bedroom apartment is NOT a bachelor pad - especially since he was in a committed relationship at the time.

Wryview- It's only fair to hold both parents to the same standard. Why does Jon get a pass for the identical things we criticize Kate for? We say he's the better parent, but where is the proof? Hi local; In the UK, they dont use the word 'season' in regards to TV shows. They use the word 'series' to indicate the start of a new batch of the same show. For example, right now I can say I just finished watching series 3 of RuPaul's Drag Race, and I am in series 5 of Supernatural. So the tweeter meant 'your new season' in OUR vernacular, not 'series' meaning a whole new show.
I have friends in several places of the UK, (Northern and Southern England, Wales, Ireland, Scotland) and we have a ball all trying to speak the same English language!

The manical tweeting still going on into it's 3rd day is really concerning. It indicates a very disturbing immaturity at the very minimum. Also indicates a fixation that goes far beyond her self proclaimed control issues and self diagnosed OCD. She just plain fixates on things and she is very aware of it. Her thoughts and actions seem to get stuck in a loop and she cant get herself out of it.
My guess is that over the years she has tried to channel this into things she finds more positive, such as deliberatly developing some OCD-type behaviors, (endlessly scrubbing the kitchen, controlling food, now weight loss) but in the long run the tweeting the past few days is really indicative of her thought disorder. Her thoughts are racing, she cant shake it. I wonder if she even WANTS to shake it, or if she finds familiar odd comfort especially in thoughts of rage and paranoia.

I get so frustrated with this saga. I have stayed current on the saga through this blog (thank you ) and another one. The twists and turns are unbelievable. And as others have said “you can’t make this stuff up, nobody would believe you”.
I have a friend who has never seen a single episode of J/K+8 or K+8 but yet she is an expert because of the tabloids. She is still convinced that Jon is a sleeze ball because of his wild period. I try to explain that that was two years ago, he’s now working in a routine IT job, providing child support, Jon didn’t leave Kate, Kate left Jon long before Jon walked out the door. My friend doesn’t realize time has passed and Kate has marched forward to fame, fortune, on the backs of others.
It got me to thinking why doesn’t my friend “get it” that it’s mostly Kate’s fault, not Jon’s, though Jon was certainly involved. It’s because of the media, period. Kate has been allowed to say whatever she wants, truth or lies doesn’t matter. The general public doesn’t know the truth. We at this blog have informed each other through the years of what’s going on so we know.
Why should the general public care about this family? The public should care about the Gosselins, not just because of the kids, but what this saga has started. This is the wild west of no laws to protect children. And isn’t what it’s about. Protect the children.
I’ve said my peace. Now I’ll go back to beinga full-time reader and a sometime poster.

Probably not too many. They are still on vacation - spring break. They're at Disney, the Bahamas, New England, out west, visiting grandparents who live in other states, wherever. You know that time of the year when most of the kids at school go away with their parents, but some have to stay at home cleaning out the garage with their mother.
1. Menu Monday: Tortilla soup- it doesn't look either good or bad, probably not something I would make.I would rather have tortillas OR soup. Kate relies on recipes (lol) a lot as well as canned and frozen products.
2. The 'outfit'- the first shot I saw without her legs, was not bad IMO except the feathery fringe...but her legs do not look muscular to me; they look chunky and I agree that was a poor shoes choice. Her roots show and she actually didn't look like she had much make-up on or too much of a hairstyle. I think she'd look better with a shorter less-platinum shade.
She also looks like she's lost weight mainly in her face and arms- appears quite top-heavy with that 'good bra' on for her shriveled look.
And her tortilla soup, courtesy of allrecioes.com, is AMAZINGLY delicious, especially with the Kate additions - that would be extra tortilla strips. Funny how after we all saw her process 200 lbs of chicken parts, this "new" recipe starts with a supermarket rotisserie chicken. 1 chicken - serves 8 growing children.

Well, as usual, Kates both blogs are nothing the rest of us have never done. Her CC blog & her own blog, are one in the same, PLEASE! everyone since they started to make clothes, knows that if you have a big family, hand-me-downs are a standard. Ask the Duggars (or any other large family), they been doing that for 20+ years.
Her monday menue sounds fine, but for me and the other people who have to watch salt content, this is a no go recipe, way too much salt. I bought one of those bag type soup, which Kate made and it had 700 salt in it, and all I had to do is add water, and extra(veggies) if I want to, it was really good. Kate's blogs are becoming more LAMEO than ever. You young moms who think Kate is the greatest thing since sliced bread, you need to hang out with your own mom and mother-in-law and grandparents, they have way more knowledge than Kate Gosselin, will ever have.
Here is something I tried over the weekend: it's by Veleeta: Tuna casserole in a box: comes with liguid veleeta cheese, season powder, noodles with veggies, just add tuna. It was really good, not too salty and you can add extra veggies to it, and you cook it in the skillet. it even taste good cold. It's new on the market, they also have others you make with hamburger, and beef.
I didn't see the picture of her shoes, but someone mentioned they looked way too big. Maybe our snark about her big toe hanging over her shoes caused her to go up a size or two. : )

From what I can piece together, Hugh asked Kate for a picture with her boyfriend by the carosel. "Bodyguard" it sounds like Kate snapped back w/ bitchy attitude and said only she would be posing for a picture. This pissed him off. The story has a lot of parallels to this situation. Man wrongfully imprisoned. Everyone assumes he did it. He really didn't. Not really. Kate has a meltdown like this at least once a week. Just another day in paradise.
Thing I wonder about some narcissists who have kids, is behind closed doors it can be absolutely hellish but in public they can appear absolutely normal to most people.
The ones who don't get caught tend to get really cocky almost this mind set that just because they are parents it means they haven't done anything wrong. It's not entirely true.
My experience comes from control, what you weren't and were allowed to do or that you had to do things a certain way or do it over until you got it right.
Kate's been caught as she says chalking it up to "bad days," we all have them but when your "bad days," become what you are known for I would take a second look.
All the little stories that have been out about Kate, her backpedaling constantly to smooth over issues with her kids the claims of how they love filming all feel to me her ways of smoothing over anything that could be deemed wrong.
I don't usually say much about the Steve factor because we can only speculate on what's true.
There are a couple of things we know:
Jon wanted his wife to stop travelling with Steve.
Jon told other people he suspected they were having an affair.
There are other bodyguards out there,Steve could have been replaced.
Steve's reputation is ruined.
There has been constant speculation about the true nature of their relationship.
The Bible says "Abstain from all appearance of evil" (1 Thess 5:22)
If she does turn on TLC, yeah, uh, who do you think is going to win that battle? TLC.
TLC can say, "We never forced Kate to do anything she did not want to." Which is entirely true. Kate just wanted that free ride for as long as possible.
I think with her train coming into the station she'll take any attention she can get, bad or good it won't matter.

The thing is, though, she should have ignored him and not engaged him. If she knew he had nothing, then why even start with him, much less keep it going? Even if she was upset over his bragging, you just need to not feed the ego. That's what she did, and he got the attention he wanted. She played right into his hands.
Mommie Dearest is clearly feeling her oats on Twitter tonight. Her relief is palpable--she dodged a bullet of some sort, just what sort we may never know, but that doesn't really matter so much to me. I am encouraged that every story today has focused on her "appearance" of impropriety and how long it has gone on, and no one wasted any ink on how gracious and giving she was to have so graciously graced the RC with her graceful presence.

I understand how you feel. I asked myself the same question. Why do I dislike Kate so much? She has never done anything to me personally (except put me in that mediocre grouping that includes everyone but Kate and the rich and famous). I really don't care about her kids. Yes, they have a crappy mother, but so do thousands of other children, most of whom are less priviledged than the Gosselin 8. I think it is her sense of entitlement that I despise. How she feels that she and her children deserve more than other families. How she thinks her children are better than ours. Her holidays and picnics and trips have to "one up" everyone elses. Even though it hardly ever looks like anyone is having fun. She also always seems to put herself before her kids. Her needs and wants always come first. And this whole bodyguard thing is so sketchy. I would never allow my husband to be alone with a single (and desperate) woman. A married man should never travel with and escort a woman who is not his wife. That is just asking for trouble. I do not believe most men would not fall into temptation in such a situation. If he is still with his wife, she is one foolish woman. I can't believe they are not separated though, what woman would put up with that? I feel bad for his kids. They are old enough to know what the rumors are. I think that is why is don't like her. Yes. Especially the warden. Pretended to be a Christian, pretended to love the prisoners and want what was best for them, but in fact was just using Andy to help him embezzle money and make him rich and get rid of anyone who would stop him. He even killed another prisoner in order to prevent Andy from leaving jail and exposing his dirty dark secrets. He never counted on karma catching up. So many parallels to so many situations in life including this one. No wonder that movie is such a cult favorite.

I know I have said this before but I don't recollect another mother, famous or just down the road have said that and I have certainly never told anyone that I love my child. To most moms it is a given. Maybe there is nothing I would do for my kids or I will fight to the death for one of my kids or I miss my kids but I have just heard say repeatedly, over and over, that they love their kids.

It's only fair to hold both parents to the same standard. Why does Jon get a pass for the identical things we criticize Kate for? We say he's the better parent, but where is the proof? He's better because AFTER years of signing away his kid's privacy and AFTER his marriage fell apart, he finally 'came to his senses' and decided the filming should stop? Did he want it to stop for the kids or because he wanted to stick it to Kate? We can only speculate.
Jon was so worried about the kids that he took off and left them with Kate? He could have stayed at the house and held his ground. Instead, he took off and went partying. He left them with a mother who was cold, selfish, and abusive. He went from being a daily parent to seeing them 4 days a MONTH?
Yes, he has to work. So what? My ex saw our kids every weekend and usually one or two evenings during the week. (We kept it peaceful for the kids and they thrived because of it)
I do not live far from the area Jon lives (I've never met him though) and I assure you he could have rented a modest home for less than he was paying for that apartment. It was not even a real 2-bedroom, it was a one bedroom with a den.
My comment about the vacation was only in response to the criticism Kate received for not planning anything for the kids. It's only fair to put it out there, Jon planned nothing either.
I understand that Jon is more likable. He is a victim of Kate and we all collectively despise that evil piece of work. It's easy to rally behind Jon after what Kate did to him. I'm simply pointing out facts that we don't like to think of. Jon has not shown himself to be a stellar human being. He's not a bad person and I do believe he loves his kids. He is also an immature person who has a history of bad choices.

I don't believe this for a SECOND! I've volunteered lots with the Red Cross and even have been to a benefit, I never heard of such a ridiculous notion. Hi local; In the UK, they dont use the word 'season' in regards to TV shows. They use the word 'series' to indicate the start of a new batch of the same show. For example, right now I can say I just finished watching series 3 of RuPaul's Drag Race, and I am in series 5 of Supernatural. So the tweeter meant 'your new season' in OUR vernacular, not 'series' meaning a whole new show.
I have friends in several places of the UK, (Northern and Southern England, Wales, Ireland, Scotland) and we have a ball all trying to speak the same English language!
Kate has another dream, she wants to design running shoes. She has so many 'dreams', she sounds like a little kid trying to decide what they want to do when they grow up.
If her contract ended the same time Jon's did, then this chick is done. I think last week someone tried to send something to her publicist, and couldn't get through to them, so Kate said 'send the info to me'.
I am sure the RC benefit was the LAST one arranged by TLC and her publicist, IF her contract expired and nothing else was arranged or promised her.
Ya know, I bet 99% of the people that watched her show have no idea what she is up to these days. My mom used to watch her show (well, until the divorce, that was enough for her), and every once in a while she will say, "I wonder what happened to her'.

It also occurred to me this morning, what happened to the queen of buying in bulk? Now she only shops Target and supermarkets. And concerning money...I think her recent tweets about finances are due to the fact that she realizes that whatever she wants, will now come out of her pocket, tuition, clothing, hair, etc. No one knows what she has in the bank, but time will tell eventually how she managed it all.

Me.. I'm not sure I count. My step mom was narcissist. Everything was always about her. She never cared about us. In the beginning she thought we were cute little girls.. That got old quick.. But she would play the good "mom" in public.. Behind doors I was beat. She controlled our food. Hardly fed us. But in public, we were "rock stars" to her. At home , we were trash. The older I got, the ore she hated me. One day everything went really wrong.. I was 10 years old? Did something wrong.. My dad came home.. Next thing I knew I had a belt around my neck.. I remember seeing my stepmom laughing while I was being choked by my dad.. She kicked my dad in the ass, while laughing and said she had enough.. While I can blame my dad for what he did, I can't.. She stood and laughed like I was an attraction at the zoo.. The same night, I was kicked out of my home into our backyard camper.. From there, I ran a way any put MYself into foster care...
Sorry for the long story. But I almost feel better for telling it

I think she hurt her own repuation 5 years ago. Didn't her Mom tell her to "always tell the truth" and not take money off folks that believed her "looking in couch and chairs for small change," all the while closing a deal on the $1.2m McMansion.
anonymous- I am so very sorry you were not treated with the love, comfort, respect, and nurturing that you DESERVED. I pray you found love at some point in your life and that you were able to open your heart to it.
The manical tweeting still going on into it's 3rd day is really concerning. It indicates a very disturbing immaturity at the very minimum. Also indicates a fixation that goes far beyond her self proclaimed control issues and self diagnosed OCD. She just plain fixates on things and she is very aware of it. Her thoughts and actions seem to get stuck in a loop and she cant get herself out of it.
My guess is that over the years she has tried to channel this into things she finds more positive, such as deliberatly developing some OCD-type behaviors, (endlessly scrubbing the kitchen, controlling food, now weight loss) but in the long run the tweeting the past few days is really indicative of her thought disorder. Her thoughts are racing, she cant shake it. I wonder if she even WANTS to shake it, or if she finds familiar odd comfort especially in thoughts of rage and paranoia.
Jon, she is too ill to be responsible for those kids. She is harming them emotionally.
It appears that Kate, is now tryin to re-write history: to make it out to be lies. The last 7 years that TLC filmed is now lies, cause they(TLC) edited,and told her to do drama, according to one of Kates recent Tweets. Also, anything that Kate has said in the last 8 years is a lie, they cornered her and forced her to say those things. And her actions at fans and others were misunderstood, that was just drama, not the real Kate, who is full of niciness, sunshine, and lollypops. One of the niciest people on the planet. I think I'm going to puke!
