Could someone please explain to me how this "buying followers" works? Are these fake accounts, or do the owners of the accounts put the accounts up for sale, or does some mega holder sell them without the account holder's knowledge?

Here's an example of a site that sells twitter followers. I have no idea how they do it or if the accounts are real people. Kate's numbers very often increased in perfect 1,000 increments and she never fails to announce when the numbers increase.

Maybe she is understanding it now, but didn't when Dr. Drew was filmed. She has been ignoring Milo lately. The thing is that she doesn't even know if the creepy fan is a he, a she, or a he/she. She shouts out to someone without knowing who this person is, or if she could be encouraging a hopeless nutcase. I just don't understand Kate. She can't be that stupid that she doesn't know she might be putting herself in a no-turning-back situation.

Admin, I could go for days about this 87-year-old creeptard. I became alarmed when said, "Hey, I thought what your friend so and so said was funny." How did he know that? Because I responded to it. Once, someone asked why I look young (oily skin does have advantages in later life) and he said on THEIR site, "Let's see if she tells you what she told me." WTF???? I asked him if he was following my every post and he admitted it! When my 25th anniversary rolled around, he sent TWO cards. His kids would send me gifts they found at thrift stores and then a note on facebook, thanking me for being so good to their dad because he'd come out of his shell a lot since their mom died (she's the one I really knew) and we became friends. I blocked them too. I actually felt bad when I cut him off. But no more. I did nothing wrong except be nice and he just RAN with it and trampled every boundary I set up. When I started backing off, he got more insistent and indignant. Milo has done and is doing exactly the same thing. This latest 'mention' has got her all in a lather, and that is just CREEPY. Kate needs to dump her like a bad habit and not look back. Screw boundaries - these people don't know what that means - she needs to block that person and let that person deal with it and never look back. Period. Doing it publicly would be even more effective/efficient.

At Buy Real Twitter Followers, we utilize the "Follow First Method" wherein we manually invite people who are most likely to follow you back. At the end of the campaign, we will do a mass unfollowing once we achieve the agreed upon goal.
Do these "invited" people get paid? How do they obtain the inactive followers? I can see why a business would buy a following just to impress potential customers, but wouldn't these customers be smart enough to realize that they could be fake/paid followers?

PJ...it may be too late to do that. She opened the door and flung it wide open on Dr. Drew. It was the worst thing she could have done. The only thing left to do is hide the bunny. This could get really bad. I just can't believe that she is so dumb that she can't see this. Are nameless, faceless sheeple that important to keeping her relevant as they fill her need for adoration? It speaks of desperation if you have to resort to being stalked by a sheeple in order to keep your ego inflated.
Fleecing the Sheeple, that's why I think she should block that person straight away. That person would never keep that to herself, it would get all over twitter, the haters would mock her mercilessly, it would be a public humiliation, and it would be OVER. Fleecing you make a great point, but to be completely honest (haha), I don't think Kate will be on that cruise.
Where was the Lifechanger--the Keurig? Wow, he is really aiming low. I really thought he might spring for an RN refresher course or a BSN completion program.
I watched the interview and saw how she mentioned the cruise. I noticed she flubbed the name of the cruise line-said "Caribbean" and then later added "Royal". Also, she didn't mention the website for people to get more info. Between this interview and her twitter, it's seems like she's not really pushing it that much. She only tweets about it when Cindy Cardella makes a tweet-and then she just retweets that tweet.
I think Coupon Cabin was behind this interview. She gave them a lot of air time-and there is also a separate clip where she gives advice on couponing.
She gave the name of their website and also named her blog and her twitter, but never mentioned the cruise site.
PJ, is blocking enough? Can't Milo just start up another twitter account, and if that one is blocked, another? Or just buy her way back. Send Kate a few gifts, coffee cards, no way Kate can resist.
Excellent point, Tamara. She needs to shut down that stupid twitter feed. But she thrives on the drama there between the haters/sheeple and the adulation she receives. It's all she's got, which is sad because she has 8 beautiful children who want nothing more than to be her priority and to be happy with her, like all children do.

That is a horrifying experience, especially since you were so kind. I absolutely hate Facebook because of how easy it is to use it to abuse and -- I'm glad that you were able to get it to stop. Clear, as the writer of the original post, no prob. I didn't see it as a sheeple or troll statement at all. I think he could have continued on Grift Ave with Kate if he'd kept to the "let's fake our marriage for tv and cash" contract.
That he dropped the grift so completely after the Ed Hardy period is, I think, something to be congratulated on. I'm not going to nominate him for man of the year, but it is something.

I would think that non-disclosure/privacy laws would prohibit that. Alice isn't in the detective agency business, and this has nothing to do with homeland security. I'm sure Kate and Steve could request it, but unless there have been credible threats, I doubt if Alice would be forced to hand over anything.
Tamara, this guy is 87 years old. I am younger than his youngest child. I did not get anyone involved. I gently tried to tell him he was inappropriate and when he didn't get it, I cut him off. We have a mutual friend on facebook (he's a WWII vet and her daughter is a big WWII buff) and I told her I was blocking him and if he asked her anything, she knew nothing. She wanted to block him too. He did this only to me. He only has 10 friends. Did you know if you block someone, you are blocked from seeing them too? I didn't know that. If I had, I would have done it months sooner! I really held off longer than I should have because I felt so bad for the old guy, but my husband was starting to get pissed and threatening to open up a can of whoop ass on this unsuspecting old man. In hindsight, I should have never given my (fake) e-mail address, friended on facebook (I am actually VERY selective about that and my name is not even on there, plus my profile is locked up pretty tight), nor hand out my address for a card. Hard lessons learned.
Oh! Once, he was insisting on coming to my house to bring something and I refused over and over and finally told him I'd meet him in town and he gave me the gnarliest, grossest asparagus you ever saw. He was so proud. That, for me, was the beginning of the end. I mean, this old dude, whenever he saw me, was almost giddy. My friends teased me that he had a crush and I think he may have, based on his behavior. (Disclaimer: I am not anything more than average in all things, so it's not like I have scads of people with crushes or anything.)

I didn't think you were a troll either! :) I don't know if it makes sense to say the well went dry. Jon backed out of the show when it was getting its highest ratings EVER during the divorce. He missed out on countless big-time freebies, like trips to Australia, there was a trip to South Korea planned Jon was adamant he didn't want to be a part of, Alaska, and countless others. Not to mention all the other crap Kate has amassed. He could have played the good husband and continued to participate in all that. The freebies had not gone dry, they were flowing faster than ever, but he still walked away cold turkey.
I see your point but disagree. Why go to South Korea when he could (and did!) grift trips to France and Hawaii (MAYBE he paid for that one but probably stayed with family - for free.). Plus, how many parties in Vegas did he go to? They were all comped and by luxurious hotels no less. Don't forget all the B list parties in the Hamptons and New York he went to. He got plenty of freebies being on all those tabloid shows, too.
IMO, he walked away when the well dried up and the press and the public turned on him. It just took awhile.
He just became more choosy with the freebies he could grift.

You know what's funny is because of all this favoritism the bigger danger is not going to be from Milo herself but from OTHER fans who will expect the same and get jealous and vicious when it doesn't happen. So many celeb problems with fans have been from uber fans who feel slighted somehow and turn on them. A part of me wonders if Kate is so sick she knows exactly what she is doing. Kate seems to love to pit people against each other. I'm not exactly sure the psychology behind that, but she is one sick puppy who seems to get off on manipulating others. It's like other people's feelings and interactions are a game for her and she gets to move the chess pieces as she likes and watch the fallout.
Clear head in my opinion he's proven himself. I understand because of people's various backgrounds and so on he may have to do a lot more before certain people are convinced. Drama between fans and haters I see no use for. Kate's interactions with her fans and their interactions with her as well as what can be gleamed about them from other tweets they make have and always will be fair game.

Milo aka FiredUp4kate has been a poster on fan blogs for years. She called into nina fry's radio show before Kate had twitter.
She is who she says she is.
With KT one is never enough. She wanted one for the kitchen and one for her "room." That "broken" pot was brand new. Now M/J is calling her out on it, fork it over, even though she is blown away by the shout out. KT is telling her she has tricks up her sleeve just like she does.
I am thinking she may have had a list of who she thought would go and M/J was first on the list and she just will not settle for missing her mark.
KT, M/J is not a "little runner." She uses a wheelchair and takes nature walks (most likely with that walking stick shown in the photo) and has a beautiful piece of property, from the pictures she tweets, I must say.

Yeah, girlfriend was up twatting away at midnight her time last night, mostly to retweet praise from people who don't know any better.
Think about what Kate's @ feed looks like to her (her "mention" feed--the list of all the tweets people make when they include her name, either to her or about her). She's blocked a TON of people. Most of the followers she has are empty accounts, so they aren't tweeting. She has her favorites, the ones she hasn't blocked and that aren't dummy accounts. There are probably 75-100 of those (I'm including even people who might have tweeted one positive tweet to Kate ever--she wouldn't block those people). Out of that 75-100, only about ten tweet Kate in a positive way on a regular basis.
But I've noticed they aren't always around. I think she was reading her @ feed most of the day yesterday and wasn't happy with either the number of tweets or the amount of praise or both. What Kate can't see (because she has them blocked) is that when the haters are going full-strength, the handful of Kate sheep get fairly quiet. So to Kate's eyes, she would have seen little to nothing at different parts of the day. And she was on TV! So that probably hacked her off.
The occasional hateful tweet does get to her, courtesy of people who aren't yet blocked. Also, if the sheep interact with haters, it brings it to Kate's attention, and her sheep aren't focusing on HER, which probably also pisses her off.
When I finally thought about what her @ feed looks like to HER, I realized why she gets so quiet sometimes and why, other times, she seems to lash out.
Fleecing, re Milo, I have seen her comments on other blogs. Her demeanor on Twitter is very different--she sounds almost backwoods, disingenuous, seriously sycophantic, maybe even a little "tetched." But in other places, despite being fanatically pro-Kate, she sounds much less, well, insane. I saw her comment on the cruise (she hasn't committed yet) and she acknowledged that Kate would likely spend only very short periods at a time with fans, and that this was "to be expected." Because Kate is so very busy and famous, ya know. Or busy being famous.
I doubt Kate would have any security issues for herself on the cruise--after all, she will be accompanied EVERYWHERE by Purseboy. And were she to feel threatened, I am certain she would DEMAND back-up from the ship's security. The twins, on the other hand, are in my view a big security risk. Especially if, as near 12-year-olds by then, they want to spread their wings a little and explore on their own. I don't imagine it will be easy for a 24/7 nanny to keep an eye on two girls this age in the crowded entertainment venues on-board. Maybe there'll be two nannies? Good thing Kate is so rich!
I think Jon did drink the koolaid at first, and was an active, willing participant in the grifting. For whatever reason, he finally saw the light and stopped. Makes ya wonder what that precipitating factor was.
I think the producers were playing with them to get the drama going. Encouraging Kate to think she was a stah and lose Jon, and telling Jon that she was involved with Pb. The ensuing drama exceeded their wildest expectations.
But I also think there was something else besides that that caused him to see the light. My suspicion is that it was something negative with one or more of the kids. It seemed like all of a sudden one day he was done.
Also interesting that he made the pedophile comment years before the Blankenship thing became public. Kind of a funny comment to make if you didn't know anything.
Just interesting that all of a sudden he was into protecting the kids when he wasn't before so much.
This woman makes my blood boil. It's such a scam...she wants everyone to think she is such an expert on everything. The fact is she is not an expert in anything and has no real education or knowledge on any subject. Whenever she gets on a talk show and they ask her any questions, she gives them a ridiculously simple answer. No real knowledge of what she's talking about. The people who are buying any of this are brainless, mindless idiots...you know...like sheep..

I'm not sure what you mean about FiredUp, but when she did the call-in to the radio show she was a woman. She had a southern accent and spoke sloooooowly.
I think her tweets to Kate are her "schtick." I think it got Kate's attention once or twice and it worked for her so now she has to continue her crazy, teasing/harassing tweets to maintain her twitter "relationship" with Kate.

Someone on Twitter tracked the tag on the new van and it came up as being a lender from a fleet company, leased to her for a year as payment in the marathon. Not confirmed, but put out there. Who knows what to believe? If this could be proven, this tweet is just another one of her big fibs.

I don't know if it makes her feel closer to them or what. I do think that because of their "close" relationship to her on Twitter, that they are getting more demanding, expecting answers to every aspect of her life. That's not good. Also, Miss MOney saving Kate, leases are, most of the time BOTTOMLESS PITS. Any financial adviser would tell you if you want to save money the last thing you do is lease a car. If you can afford it and like to always have newer cars and don't want to hassle to much with buying and selling, then a lease might be for you.

There is something very creepy going on here. It is either an outrageous accusation or the truth. Iwana drove several hrs. to the Tenn. foodbank to meet Kate. She never tweeted him again after that and he was bitter as hell. He would make remarks that sounded like something a woman would say.

I was anxious to see this interview, but I was doing something in the kitchen, and she was so F------ boring, I didn't pay any attention--didn't even sit down and watch it. Dr. Drew and his hand holding is CREEPY.

It does seem astounding that she has no awareness whatsoever about how this makes her look in front of the very public she wants so badly to impress. I can believe it.
The children have no context with which to comprehend birth order in a family of 5, like Kate's. They have no contact with any extended family and if they did, at this age, they would under stand that Aunt X is older than Mommy and Uncle Y is younger than mommy.
They would totally get the idea that Grandma had consecutive babies, one at a time.
What a thing to brag about. Kate has no idea how poorly this reflects on her and how she cut her family from their lives.
Jon and Kate were both listed on the title of the BBB. When they divorced, it remained as their only co-owned asset. They were instructed to share the vehicle because neither had a vehicle large enough to transport 8 kids.
It's irritated me that every vehicle they purchased was only for themselves. Two-seater cars, SUV's that seated 5-7, both parents had not bothered to buy a car that could hold the family.
No benevolence on the part of Kate. They both owned the BBB and she waited until it was on it's last legs and then told Jon to take it. The van has a lot of miles and has not been properly serviced over the past few years. It's worth very little.
If Kate had an ounce of sense, a modicum of of intelligence she would do the following:
Call Alice Travel, tell them that there have been so few confirmed bookings, to cancel the 'Kate' cruise, refund the deposits, and accept this is a 'no- go'. Although there is still time to get more people to book, it is unlikely to happen. With more than 5 months before sailing, no penalties will be incurred by Alice Travel. This is simple, the cruise with Kate just didn't sell, it will fade away.
Cancel her Twitter account. Many celebrities have admitted their 'addiction' to twittering, how distracting and all-consuming it is. Kate has 8 kids to use as her reason/excuse to close it down. She could tell her sheeple that her kids asked her to give it up, they would accept her putting her children ahead of her pink phone.
These 2 small things (HUGE in Kate's mind I know) would go a very long way to integrating her back in the world she had before fame. This would require introspective thinking, something we all agree is missing, but the time has come to accept this was a great ride, but it's OVER. Surely, there is someone in her life who can tell her all this. Ironically, if she stepped away from her own desperation, the genuine curiosity about herself and her kids could result in a few catch-up shows, say every 5 years or so.
I recognize rational thinking is not Kate's strong point, but the safety of her kids must rank somewhere. Or, is she so consumed by her chance at fame, she she sees none of the risks?

I remember Kate tweeting last summer (or was it fall) about how the original BBB would have to be repaired or replaced. I don't care to look up the original tweet, but even she had mentioned that it wasn't running well and it had been to the mechanic quite a few times.

I believe that the ONLY person who might be able to have the "it's time to get real" conversation with Kate is Wrangler Steve. Even though it would fly in the face of his own interests, if he were to tell her it's time to pack it in and that HE is going to move on, this might just turn the tide. I can't imagine a single other individual in her life (of those we know about, at least) who would even dare to broach the subject for fear of permanent banishment.

Your implication that the old van is unsafe is not based on fact. Sorry, but the children are not suffering because they have to ride in the old van when they are with their dad. I think you'd be hard-pressed to find many divorced couples that share vehicles, even when a certain size vehicle is needed based on the number of children involved.
For all you know, Kate gave Jon the option of getting the old van for his full-time use or having her trade it in and they'd share the new one. No one here has any idea of how this came about. Having the old van in his full-time possession gives him more flexibility and makes him more accessible to his kids. It's not a negative and there's no reason to make it one.

We will never know who was given the van in the divorce. I suspect that it was given to Jon and he was allowing Kate to use it when she had the kids. The bbb was a gift from Jons father. Most judges take the source of the gift into consideration when dividing property in a divorce.
Kate is just trying to spin this so she looks good. There is a court order that keeps either of them from talking about the actual property split. We know from Kates past behavior that she would not willing give Jon the BBB for free.

Camp Barnabas, located at 901 Teas Trail 260 in Purdy, is honoring 10 mothers out of those who are nominated as "Remarkable Mothers of the Ozarks."
The camp is a Christian camp devoted to providing outdoor activities during the summer to children and adults with special needs and chronic illnesses, according Keri McKee, the development officer for the camp.
McKee said the event, on Friday, May 4, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Remington's Entertainment Complex, 1655 W. Republic Rd., Springfield, is a black-tie fundraiser where the tapas stations represent many different cultures. There is also a silent auction, a game and raffle.
The speaker at the event is Kate Gosselin, according a news release from the camp. Gosselin is a mother of eight who gained national attention with her reality show on TLC, "Jon & Kate Plus 8," with her then husband, Jon Gosselin. In addition to the show, which was later changed to "Kate Plus 8," she has appeared on ABC's "Dancing With The Stars," and wrote three books, "Multiple Blessings," "I Just Want to Know You," and "Eight Little Faces."
"We are ecstatic to have her," McKee said. "Her heart just went out to the camp after she found out what we do. She has a love for children and is an amazing mom."
McKee said last year hundreds of nominations came in and it was difficult for their committee to pick just 10 to be honored at the event.
"There are lots of amazing stories," she said. "We don't just accept nominations for moms who have special needs children, but some of our nominees last year had set out to adopt children with special needs and have provided them with a loving environment where they can thrive."
Tickets to the event are $75 and are available for purchase at www.campbarnabas.org/tapasandtophats.
Even if a nominated mother is not chosen to be honored that night, she is still recognized with a card.
"All mothers nominated will receive a Mother's Day card that says someone thinks they are remarkable," McKee said.
Nominations for remarkable mothers are accepted through March 30. To nominate a remarkable mother go to the Camp Barnabas website, www.campbarnabas.org/nominations."

I wonder when she was planning to share this little tidbit with all the tweeties who wanted to plan a meet and greet in Missouri - a nice central location that many felt they could do with no problem. Why do I get the feeling that half of the funds raised will go to KT. I am sure it is their first speaker that will require the usage of a body guard, a limo, and a swanky hotel on their dime. I would never support a charity that was using her as there would be no money left for the charity, by the time she was "reimbursed."

So do I! In PA! I almost did a double-take today when I pulled into the driveway. Daffodils poking up, as well as the crocus. I have never known the winter here to be this mild. I didn't have to get out a shovel, or a broom for that matter. No snow, and today it's 63 degrees. I've had the heat turned off in the house for the past two days.

If she's going to be in Missouri, there is NO WAY she will be able to get out of the fan meet-n-greet. St. Louis was only thrown out as a good location because it was "central." I read on here (cant easily find the link) that the BBB was given to them by Jons father. He originally gave them a maroon one but they returned it for the blue one. It was talked about when Kate first tweeted that she had given Jon the BBB.
Read through the comments on the Yahoo article and the overwhelming majority point out her personality as being the reason she can't "find love" NOT the fact that she has 8 children. The truth hurts doesn't it Kate?

Someone on Twitter tracked the tag on the new van and it came up as being a lender from a fleet company, leased to her for a year as payment in the marathon. Not confirmed, but put out there. Who knows what to believe? If this could be proven, this tweet is just another one of her big fibs.

I saw that too. I always tend to take what he posts with a tiny grain of salt, but I think I believe his claims of the new Mercedes BBB being leased for her as payment for being in the marathon. Kate allegedly had the same deal with the Toyota Land Cruiser she used to have. This was supposedly a lease from TLC as a present for the big 9 million rating divorce episode.
