Another traveler says she saw Kate, the twins and Steve in the Denver airport, on Friday, a day before the twins' eleventh birthday. This is Kate's second trip to Wyoming this year, and her fourth trip total to Wyoming. How does a mom who cannot even afford gymnastics manage to splurge on a trip like this, or was it another freebie? We just hope the twins didn't have to work on their special day, or at all.

Just catching up here, after being away for Thanksgiving (and getting back to work, too).
I wanted to comment on kHatie's weight loss/exercise/rabbit food, a bit after the fact I suppose.
Recently I read Portia de Rossi's book "Unbearable Lightness" - what a fantastic book! I highly recommend it to all of you. If you are not familiar it deals with her descent into anorexia and exercise obsession, and her journey back.
She was always worried about being mediocre (main reason she changed her name, Amanda Rogers was too common) and her it drove her to believe she wasn't thin enough. She did go to a nutritionist, but ended up taking it to a crazy extreme. She even kept a fake food journal for her nutritionist.
Anyway, my point is I think kHate is spiraling out of control with her eating/exercise regimen. We know she doesn't want to be mediocre.
Again, I really recommend Portia's book, I got mine from the library but I think I will have to buy it - it is that good.

I kind of doubt she's going to let her kids do much cooking as they get older, shock, the loss of control in her own kitchen. I couldn't make a sandwich by myself until I was 13 because my grandma thought I would make a mess in the kitchen. Now that I have my own kitchen, I discovered...countertops wash!! Isn't it fabulous?? A mess really isn't that big of a deal, it only ever is if you make it a big deal!
I don't care if she has or ends up with an eating disorder. She is a nurse after all and should know the ins and outs regarding healthy eating (and excercise). It does concern me however that the children may have or end up with eating disorders. Half a banana and three grapes for growing children, half a sandwich, 'free' juice instead of milk - no wonder they are good eaters - they need more from all food categories.

Don't worry....I'm sure if they were filming, we'd have seen photos of them with camera crew, boom mikes, etc....just like we used to before the show was cancelled.
I can't guarantee you that she won't pop up again but I feel pretty sure that this bizarre, emperor-with-no-clothes ride of Kate's is pretty much done. What's amazing is that it lasted so long.
She's now having her period of infamy...just like so many others have had...Paris Hilton, Speidi, some of the Real Housewives that have been let go. They don't bow out quietly and graciously....but their big run is done.
Except for whatever may be in the original contract (that Jon also signed) regarding any filming down the road of specified specials....I highly doubt you'll see these children filmed all the time like we used to.
I get it, though....it's just so hard to believe it's finally over. It seemed for so long that it was never gonna end and that Kate had a million lives. But I think she used up her last one, finally....and thank God for that.
I do not think for a minute that the show is canceled. I think it is a big publicity stunt.
What was Kate's appeal originally: a--she was "Christian and pro-life." Well, she's lost some of the goody-goody religious market with her divorce, and she can't have another baby against doctor's advice until she comes out of the closet with Stevo. So she's out of luck there for the time being.
b--she's "organized." Imagining for a minute that she really was, how many shows can you see about an organized person? They may get a regular gig on some home show pushing closet separators or something, but nobody gets famous for being organized.
c--she's "pathetic." And not in the way we think she is, LOL! This is all they have to go on now. First they were so poor, Mady and Cara couldn't get dolls. After a while, when it became obvious they were wealthier than most of their fans and bought a new house, what happened? The divorce.
Now she was pathetic not because she was poor, but because she had to do it all on her own! She had no man! Her husband was a bum! (I think there is about a 10% chance that Jon's sudden, out-of-character partying was staged. If they ended their marriage mutually over irreconcilable differences without the very visible pictures of him with other women, etc., she wouldn't be as pathetic, would she?)
Two years later, people are sick of her, and her nasty personality is coming out. So what can they do? "Cancel" the show! Now she's poor again. How pathetic. Of course the cancellation is just for a couple of months before the "specials" begin (and eventually turn into another series). Yeah, I think the twins are being filmed, too, or they are at least scouting locations.
Well Well, Bonnie has Kates recipes up, says she's looking for her own food show...LMAO recipes from campbell soup labels!

As I've already said many times here, I continue to have huge doubts that it is really Kate who is doing the tweeting. What you posted here is one of several of the reasons I feel this way. Another is that I just cannot see her being able to even force herself to act as though she could give a crap about what any of the fans tweet to her....it would be just so out-of-character for her.
Yes, there are also things that make me not 100% sure....but then again, anyone hired to do this would make it a point to try to make it sound like the actual person as much as possible.
I do know that Kate would love the attention....but just can't see her loving it enough that it would compel her to actually be rather nice to these fans and to act even remotely interested in what they have to say to her. The normal Kate would be sneering at them.
Also...to the person who'd referred to Jon having been suspicious of there being an affair between Kate and Steve....I do totally trust what Jon suspected at the time but it might just have been that he was becoming concerned that Kate was really interested in Steve but he may have been unsure of Steve's actual involvement or even his interest in that type of involvement. I tend to think he was becoming suspicious that SOMETHING was going on but may have had no specific idea of whether or not Steve was even interested or was just doing his job. It's been rumored that Kate had a huge crush on Steve and pursuing him may have raised a lot of red flags for Jon....but it may have only been red flags and no specifics.
But....let's say Kate and Steve were romantically involved at some point....I'm sorry but I just can't imagine this guy is still interested in her romantically. I would think he'd be totally fed up with her at this point....and can't wait until his contract is over so he can get sprung and fly the coop.

My guess is she was at some kind of breast cancer awareness event ( the pink tablecloths ), and she actually had enough sense to not flaunt her fake tatas in front of women who lost theirs.
On another note, in that photo above, she looks very sickly to me. She looks gaunt and unhealthy, which I'm sure adds to her not being able to handle stress normally. If you look back at old photos of her with short hair before she started her weight loss kick, she looked healthier. Even her hair looked healthier (even though the style was fugly ). Now she looks rode hard and hung up wet. Very haggard.
I found several breast cancer events in Wyoming but none on that weekend. Closest was a run on Oct 1.
Quite by accident I saw a copy of her book "Letters to my Kids". The front cover picture shows her extensions for the first time. I never liked the extensions, but her face looked so much better even then than it does now. Fuller. Softer. I know book cover pictures are doctored up so much, but I think this gaunt look started when she got those darned extensions. It went downhill from her introduction to Ted Gibson and Jason H. with their idea of physical beauty. She took it from there. Unnatural and
questionable. That's her style.

Not defending Kate and/or her lame website in any way, shape or form, but I want to put this out there for people that may not understand how blogs work.
Kate's site is a wordpress site, so all she needs to update it is an internet connection basically and she can do it from anywhere, even from her iphone, I would imagine.
Disclaimer, I've never tried to admin my wordpress installs from my husband's blackberry, but I have no reason to think that I could not based on what I know I can do with it and what I know about wordpress. I can try it when he gets home just to verify it though.
You can also premake posts and schedule them to post whenever you want. I have about 20 sites that I run and I usually schedule about a weeks worth of posts at a time so that I don't have to try and post every day. It's super handy.
This is not to say Kate is doing either of those things, but just because she is away doesn't mean that someone else is running the website. Frankly, I think she is doing the majority of the posting herself, just because the quality is poor and most webmasters would put out higher quality work, even newbie, amateur ones.

This reminds me of those who claimed (on the other blog) that the divorce was just a big publicity stunt, the kids knew the truth, Kate and Jon were laughing at the gullibility of the public, and that there would be a big announcement of a reconciliation.

I'm reading the magazine where the family is on the cover and she talks about the cancellation. In one paragraph they are describing Steve, the security expert to road manager. Kate states, "He is always going to be with us. He and his wife are friends.” She continues "Everything we went through was hard on both our families." My question is why would Kate's divorce and transition to single life be hard on Steve's family?

I don't know that many are "offended" by OT conversations, but when those conversations are between two people only, it might be better FOR THEM to perhaps go to a chat room, DM, or send e-mails. So much more could be discussed, and in the case of e-mails, they would have much more privacy without all of the bloggers reading their conversations.
Posters here don't have to read the OT comments - simply scrolling down and ignoring them does the job, but I would think that those involved in the conversation would enjoy them so much more if the messages were just between those involved.

Yes, you can access your wordpress login from your mobile browser...I've done so on an Android device. Additionally, there are ways you can email posts to your wordpress site, but I haven't tried posting this way yet.
I have a wordpress app for Android, so I assume that there is also one for iphone and/or ipad.

She thought they would stay toddlers forever, just as she thought that the show would go on forever. One of her major problems is that she cannot see ahead. She can't think ahead, she can't foresee consequences of her actions or what comes out of her mouth.
In the Neighbordhood, you are spot on. Kate lives in the moment. Actually I've only ever seen one other person live in the moment like she does, and it was scary.
Living in the moment is GREAT, some of the time. When you do it so much that you ignore what WILL happen, like you don't even buy a jacket when you know it snows every year, it becomes detrimental.
It's like she can only manage to focus on one day at a time, decisions are not made in the context of the big picture but only in the context of that day or week, and she is incapable of looking more than two chess moves ahead.
Kate no doubt figured she'd be on TV forever and she'd hire full time nannies and have tutors and housekeepers and laundresses and an assistant and cook and be traveling all over the world because she'd be in such great demand. I doubt she ever thought she might have to do it all herself some day.

You are all just too funny, too funny. Who cares how much money Kate has, don't read her tweets. Who cares about her web site, don't read it, but don't be jealous that she can raise her kids, make money and buy a nice big home. It's so odd to me when she travels she's dead silent. She doesn't even pull her phone out when she's waiting at the gate?? Surely like everyone else traveling involves a lot of waiting for her.
