Kris agains turns to her and says."in 5 years when you have children no one will care about you anyway"

These reality "stars" are the most obnoxious thing to come into this generation. They get paid ridiculous amounts of money for nothing. "Write" bestsellers, sell perfume, do commercials, get paid to host nightclubs, launch clothin lines etc all with ZERO talent. It's astonishing that the public accepts these people as celebrities or American Royalty. These reality stars do absolutely nothing, offer nothing, yet somehow belive the hype that they are more special and deserving of things than the average person. Sadly I contribute to their rating by watching but I just can't anymore. What started as a guilty viewing pleasure has resulted in seeing regular people become fame monsters who lose sight of everything in their chase for attention. fame must be one hell of a drug.

Tucker's Mom..you are talking about the Macshe family moving to FLorida right? When they announced that I knew it would be the end of them. THe had a wonderful support system. Jenny had a great job and wonderful friends. What do they do? GO all the way across the country, away from both sets of grandparents and uncles/aunts, have Jenny lose her high paying job so that the husband can "try out" a new career and not have "family inturruptions" from the extended fmaily.
They are now divorced. His mugshot appeared a few years ago when he was arrested for a domestic dispute.

It was obvious that she was uncomfortable being in costume. She is only comfortable in her mind being on TV now if she has what she thinks is the "celeb" look. She mistakenly thinks it all hinges on appearance and doesn't get the personality or talent parts. And it's too late to feign sincerity.
And what does she have to talk about now, with herself? Or purpose? Well, nothing. So more discomfort.
Maybe someday soon the REAL reality will set in after some more experiences like this, but I doubt if she'll get many more "opportunities".

Kody does not work anymore. He had a sales job in Utah. Meri lost her job in Utah due to the publicity. Jenelle lost her jon in the Utah when the family fled to Vegas.
So 3 adults were working but gave it all up to expose their family on tv. Sure the premise sounds good. They wanted to bring attention to their lifesyle and unstigmatize it. So what do they do once attention is brought to them like they wanted? They flee the state instead of fighting for what they believe and take their very conservative family to LAS VEGAS. Add in a new wife and a new baby and the loss of their church and friends and who wouldn't expect the kids to crack.
One of the teens expressed it quite well. I can't quote him but he basically said when you take situation on top of situation on top of situation that things are going to be rough.
Didn the Browns not ever that with the unique way they raised their kids in Utah would make it hard to acclimate to a place like Vegas. These kids grew up around other polygamy families. The were deeply involved in the church. The loved their school. The all lived in one house. They practived religious beliefs.
Once day a camera crew comes into the house. A "girlfriend" appears. Then they have trouble with the law. Flee to Vegas. Lose their support system. Stop going to church. Have camera in their face as they try to adjust to the move. Have not one parent in the family working. Go to a public school where not only are they the "polygamy kids" but are also the "reality tv" kids. They all live in separate houses now. They miss their friends. They are shell shocked over the vast amount of change in less than 2 years and NOBODY IN THE FAMILY CARES!

Nursing is HARD work. But, for those who are in it for the right reason, is there really anything more satisfying than knowing how much you helped your patients that day? It is a job that takes a lot out of you, and gives you a sense of joy right back. The nurses I know personally are disturbed that so much of their time is spent electronically recording information about their patients rather than spending more time with their patients. It's all so important..... The nurses were the best part of my being in the hospital as long as I was. They were kind, understanding, patient, very supportive, and doing their level best to give me the best shot at getting home again. I loved them all.
Some people are just not cut out for the job. They are the ones who avoid going back after being away for awhile, I would guess. I have known nurses who were chomping at the bit to get back to their hospital work after extended leaves of absence (raising their kids, for example.) It would have been the perfect opportunity to just leave the profession, but they wanted back in ASAP (e.g. when the kids started to go to preschool.)
2 things about kates appearance on the view.
It must have disappointed her to be dressed as a zombie and not look "HOT". she has been running and starving herself for months to get her "celeb" body only to have it overshadowed by makeup and huge hair with dolls dangling from it.
the other.. her boobs looked tiny. she lost so much weight her implants look small without the fatty breast tissue to make them look full.
If you look at photos of Leanne Rimes in a bikini her implants look horrible after the major weight loss. like 2 tennis balls stuffed in her.

Why isn't Kate even looking for a job? Is is supposed to fall out of the sky? The longer she waits for her "dream job," the harder it is going to be on her to go back to the real world.
Honestly, her waiting like this speaks a lot about how she thinks the world will function for her and her children. Are her kids when they become teenagers and want their own money, are they supposed to wait around for someone to offer them a day job?
She could go back to work as a nurse, the thing is Kate is to SCARED to even try. She is more willing to live off of Jon's child support than she ever would be going back to a real job.

In order for Kate to get an MSN, she'd first have to get a BSN. She has a diploma from a hospital School of Nursing, not a college degree. It'd take probably 2 years for her to get a BSN. I can't seen Kate taking the time and putting forth the effort to do anything like this. She's bone lazy. As my mother used to say, she's so lazy the lice wouldn't drop off her. Going back to school would mean a lot of hard work. If it's not handed to her on a golden platter, Kate doesn't want it.
I'm still having a very hard time wrapping my mind around the pedophile issue. I've worked with kids, in one capacity or another, for most of my adult life. I don't have children of my own, but I consider those kids I've worked with as very dear to me. I just cannot fathom Kate's indifference to what has happened. I'm alternating between being furious and being sick about it. Has Jon said anything? Does Jon even know? If he missed the news, we know good and well that Kate wouldn't tell him. She doesn't think he should have any input into the kids' lives. What an ungodly mess this all is. Thanks, Rate. I tried to enlarge the photo, and I couldn't see how others were reporting them as dead. Not to be gross, but I couldn't see blood on them, or knives in their heads, so I didn't know why they were being called dead babies. Weren't their pacifiers on there, too? We really don't know that she's not looking for a job, but she wants a job in entertainment. Good luck with that. I bet she has her feelers out everywhere, with her "manager" putting many networks on notice that she's available.

Look, Kate was a nurse in her former life, she has NO intention of going back to it as a job, career, whatever. It's just too bad that the only thing she sees herself moving forward in is as a TV personality or in media in some capacity. Too bad she continues to demonstrate, when given the opportunity as she was yesterday on the View, that she has no talent for this whatsoever. And since breaking through into that word is a young person's game, she is also already over that hill. What is really too bad that she is not capable of understanding ANY of this, and using some of her resources to get an education or technical training in anothet field. She chose nursing as a teenager, who knows what she thought then, and how many people change career paths 15+ years later? Problem for her is really her completely unrealistic world view. But nursing? No point in even discussing that dead horse.
One gets the impression that the kids work very hard at keeping that property up, while Khate instructs and makes lists and job assignments and periodically goes to check on them. The chickens don't get any sun. They might as well be factory chickens raised in a chicken house.

I remember one story that reported that the cost of her staff is $500,000, and the cost of school was $500,000. These figures just get thrown around as fact, and it's really irresponsible journalism, if you can even call it journalism. I think that people just make up figures as they go, toss them around and see where they land...

We have a satellite of Ohio State in my town and the school rents space to local organizations all the time. Not only is she in a bizarre demographic (college kids? They're more likely to be watching MTV or ESPN or Showtime), but she's going to a campus that was designed for commuter students, older students, working students. Students are unlikely to hang around campus on the weekend.
This is not the main Penn State campus. It's a dinky satellite campus that does the job getting you the same degree, but was not intended to give you the college experience.

I'm sure she has. We did the same when our daughter went to her prep school. The school does not maintain a Facebook page, but does have its own website. We signed documents forbidding the school to use our daughter's name or image for any public purpose.
It's standard procedure, at least at good private schools, to provide forms to parents, asking authorization to use kids' photos for PR purposes, or for other public use. Many parents refuse permission for a variety of reasons, including a simple desire for privacy.
In Kate's case, it's more likely that she was protecting the brand, but she is undoubtedly not the only parent who refuses to allow the school to put a child's picture up on the Internet.
Like most schools, Penn State appropriates a certain amount of money to whatever organization invited her to campus. There is an organization that has as part of its duties guest speakers, I think it might be some kind of Student Affairs or equivalent. Her speaking fee is likely paid from those appropriations. This organization, Student Affairs, or whatever it is, has to justify its appropriations every year. There's no way Kate Gosselin is going to get some huge speaking fee. I'm guessing maybe a couple hundred bucks. It's a public school so I think they may have to disclose it if anyone feels like asking them.
By the way, state school. State appropriations, in part. PA tax dollars could be paying for this fool to peddle her sob story again.

I posted this before but I'd be surprised if anyone like her attracts much students on a weekend. At least at my school public speaking events were not well attended unless you were someone really big. John Stewart and Bill Cosby as I recall got a bunch of people but that's it. I think we had Ann Coulter or something once. Yawn, only the Young Republicans went.
You have to remember college students go to lecture rooms and classrooms all day long and get talked at by someone. The last thing they want to do is sit in another seat and be talked at again on their precious weekend. Plus they have studying to do and hopefully a little down time, your time is SO precious in college.
And, colleges break a lot earlier for Christmas. Finals are only a month away. These last several weeks are no time to be messing around spending a couple hours listening to an ex-reality star.
There's a possibility some professors might give extra credit for going. I don't know, Sociology class maybe.
Anyway, the cliff notes version is, I have no clue what her manager was thinking on this one.

There isn't much partying at commuter schools. There is no place TO party, everyone lives at home. Also, partying dies down significantly at most college in November because finals are coming.

That is not true, total heresay, and a very nasty rumor. I know the family. Admin is right. Some statements could be libelous.
Unless we're Kate, I don't think we can say either way what happened to her. Heck even if you know him, people can present as the nicest most loving parents in the world and then behind closed doors....
Based on Kate's behavior, and relying on my heavy experience with families, I think it's one possibility. Or she could just be a bad seed with a screw loose. But stating it as the truth is not gonna fly here, or even wild speculation about people who are not public figures.

Sorry, Admin, but I think you may have stepped on a few toes with that comment. While it certainly is not the size of the Penn State main campus, the Fayette Campus does have a student body of 1100, including international students (I just checked their Web page.), making it equal in size to many small Liberal Art colleges. It also has a beautiful campus with several classroom buildings and, yes,even landscaped walkways, as well as limited dorm space. It certainly can't offer the same experience as the Main Campus, but the Fayette Campus does serve its purpose of offering 4-year degree programs to those who are unable to attend/afford the Main Campus. With the current economy, I suspect that many students are choosing local campuses for their college degrees.

PaMa? I think ANY Penn State school is a great school to go to. And actually, I think in this economy it's often SMARTER for most people to go there as opposed to the main campus. It's cheaper! I just checked the tuition rates, the main campus is $15,000, but for Fayette it's only $12,000. Great deal.
You can go to your nearest Penn State and live at home, or find a cheap apartment. You can eat cheaper by buying your own food not cafeteria stuff. And for CHEAPER TUITION? You can get the same degree! What a deal! Your degree IS THE SAME, a respected Penn State degree. So maybe it will be harder to get to the football games, but I would save the money.
Whether you think 1,100 is a big school or small school (I call it small, it is certainly small compared to many other schools in PA), the point being that this is by no means a lucrative opportunity for Kate, and makes little sense for her, and if she's going to fill an auditorium, she would have to fill it with one-third of the student body. Not gonna happen. Maybe some locals will go, but I thought PA was over her.
I mean no offense by "dinky" little school. I have gone to a dinky little school, and I wouldn't have it ANY OTHER WAY. Big schools fulfill a need but so do Penn State's satellites. It's just not anything that makes sense for Kate no more than any small school would for a cheap speaking fee.
I suspect this much. Anyone smart enough to go to a local satellite campus, save themselves $3,000 or more a year for the same exact degree, live at home and save money, and maybe even work on the side, is not anyone dumb enough to waste two hours of their time listening to Kate gab.
They have better things to do. Like studying, working, or spending time with family.

To call the Penn State Fayette campus "dinky" has a negative connotation and doesn't do justice to those students who attend there because they financially can't afford to go any place else. The $15,000 figure at the main campus is for tuition only and is a drop in the bucket, by the time room and board charges are added.

The "dead babies" costume was probably there waiting for her when she got to The View. I doubt that she put that costume together. Those little dolls were popular when I was a kid (err, about 50 years ago)and are simply little dolls that are not painted. They are wearing a diaper, but they were molded in one color. The staff probably just thought it would be funny to have babies in her costume because she had so many babies. Calling them dead babies is silly.

I didn't hear Admin dissing the Eberly campus per se. I think she was going with the thought that the Eberly campus doesn't have as many students to draw from for a Kate Konference. It's small - "dinky" - compared to a main campus venue and would involve a smaller potential pool of students. I took her comment as a quantitative one rather than a qualitative one.
And, since the Konference is on a Thursday and open to the public, it might be easier to have the public find parking and have fewer students to fight with for sidewalk space, etc. on a smaller campus than on a main campus. I know I don't want to be driving onto a large college campus when school is in session. No thanks.

Count me in on Nancy Grace. She hasn't done a thing on that show to warrant backlash. I think that is sort of the definition of a "hater." Hating for hate's sake even when they are doing nothing wrong. Kate on the other hand, was a whiney, bitchy, unappreciative, lazy baby during her DWTS tenure and deserved backlash.
Nancy Grace works hard, she works well with her partner, she has a good attitude, a good sense of humor, and is respectful to everyone on the show. She's the package deal. Maks said I respect every celeb that tries hard--that's Nancy. And she's getting good.
I don't care how she acts outside the show, she is giving the show her all and is going above and beyond what would be expected of her. And America, I'm guessing a big portion of which doesn't like her, has rewarded her good attitude and hard work by keeping her on this long.
Another site goes into more details about the college speech. The student committee booked Kate. The director said most people are excited about Kate speaking, and they have only had a few negative calls.
The topic will be resiliency. Kate will speak about going through tough times and not giving up. Matt Roloff and Hilary Clinton have spoken there. There will be a meet and greet after the talk. Surprise, tickets are still available.

She talked like she had a mouth full of mush, her teeth didn't seem to fit (looked over-loaded, like false teeth) or was this so noticeable because they were contrasted against the grayish face color? Her mouth really looked crooked and protruding, and out of place. It's kind of hard to describe.

Sorry, what tough times did Kate go through and not give up on? She has never had to care for her own kids without financial help and helpers. Nancy's conduct in the past is well-documented. No one's denying it. If I recall correctly, her prosecutor misconduct was in the 90's, more than 10 years ago. A higher court called her out on it, and she was appropriately slammed. When exactly will enough time past where she can atone for it? I saw that. What you call mocking I call playful teasing. He clearly adores her, he was laughing the entire time, he puts his arm around her, he is a big boy and can tell her if he feels her teasing is taking it too far. Actually her legs caught my eye because I thought they looked good. They are really getting toned. She's lost weight and is looking good IMO. I agree with Admin about her attitude. I find her charming and self-deprecating on DWTS; I think her show "persona" is just that. I followed the Caylee case on her show and admire her dedication to missing kids and slain veterans. Yes she can get rude, abrasive and repetitive but when that happens I just change the channel.

Jon Gosselin is preparing to take legal action in the wake of the horrendous revelation that a film editor who worked on the reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8 was recently arrested for sexually exploiting a minor, Star magazine is exclusively reporting.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, William Blankinship was arrested on October 21 on 10 counts of sexually exploiting a minor, and now the reality show dad told Star in an exclusive interview that he is sickened by the news.
"My first thought when I heard this was, 'Oh my God!'" Jon said. "I'm sure everyone working on the show is shocked and never expected something like this."
The father of eight **, who met Blankinship several times, said he is distressed about the access the film editor had to raw footage of the kids he shares custody of with their mother, Kate Gosselin.
"I have contacted an attorney and I'm trying to gather all the information from the authorities in North Carolina to see if there is any evidence he has footage of our family or if he has distributed it."
Gosselin said he has not discussed his concerns with his ex-wife, but plans to contact her about the situation. "I will write her an email because I feel this is going to explode, because it is so bad," Jon told Star.
For now though, Jon said he is primarily concerned about footage Blankinship might have seen. "Of course we filmed potty training...Any parent would be freaked out by this, because the cameraman definitely shot the kids getting ready for bed, being showered and being changed."

Dear Permanent Name: No, I in no way was alluding to your permanent name when I posted using my one-time name. I used to have a permanent name but it was severely trounced a long time ago and I pretty much quit posting since then. But now when I am really moved to post--and hearing that calling little pink dolls attached to a Zombie costume "dead babies" makes us "liars" seemed like a statement that needed a rebuttal--I just pick a one-time situation relevant name. (I have not read at twitter so don't even know if that is a topic over there. If so, how bizarre. And, yes, Admin, I think it is bizarre that it is even mentioned here when there are actual issues, but oh, well.)
Since there just was a long discussion about people who use a different name each time they post and don't pick a permanent name I thought I would just explain why the name I was posting with is not a permanent one. So I picked my very confusing one-time name.
I do know you use the name Permanent Name, and remember when you came to that name. I am not usurping it, I am not trying to step on your toes. No, your name has not been dog-piled on, mine was. It was just a very poor choice of name on my part. I apologize.
It's like Kate wakes up every morning with her ass her in the air expecting the world to kiss it. Like she thinks it's all owed to her. Like she shouldn't have to do the work, it will just fall in her lap somehow...like before.
But, her true colors have shown through time & again. She needs to see that it's over. Going on TV time over & over & BEGGING for gigs looks desperate & annoying. She has to realize at some point, you let go. Most people, in this econmoy, have HAD to let go of their dreams. When will she? There isn't a place for everyone. And Kate has no talents for television. It's obvious by the lack of offers she gets & the lack of offers she is getting, & the fact that she was fired. The View? Bill Getteys (?) always liked her & the theme WAS reality zombies.
She needs to just let go & move on for her children.

I agree. She won't do it. Kate will TRY & scratch her way back her way into the entertainment industry tooth & nail, although it won't happen. As I stated above, it's over for her.
I don't think Kate *could* be hired as a nurse after all the footage of her being so...mean to her own children, not to mention all the "super-nice" things her ex-work co-workers said about her! (snark) And aren't nurses supposed to be nice? I have tremendous respect for nurses, if I saw Kate walk into my room, scowl on her face, knowing she didn't want to be there, asking me what I wanted, all rude-like, I think I'd ask for a new nurse.
Kate=nurse? Nah. She said it, it was a lie, (remember, if her lips are moving or fingers typing) she is most likely lying. Or contradicting herself. Or trying to make herself good. I saw the View Halloween espoiode online and I have to say she really brought it down compared to the other guests they had on. She seemed down instead of her usual angry personality she always bring to the Today show (!) and I could see that she struggled to get through the interview. I think partly because she is trying to choose her words more carefully this time. But it just felt really off this time. For a minute there, I thought she was going to break down and bawl her eyes out. But she didn’t this time. I’m not sure if her day just started off bad. Did the audience boo at her? She didn’t seem that thrilled to be there, I thought. No mention of being SO UPSET about the trees, her harrowing day of being without electricity for less than 24 hours (15 or 20 hours?) and no mention of her website, no update, just the same old comments she always make. I thought that was odd too. I just have a couple comments. Is it REALLY important to make the point that it takes ‘two hours’ to dress up the children for Halloween? I notice she always make a point of the amount of time it takes to do something; in other words, anything that has to do with the kids’ upbringing (fun activities, making lunch, homework, getting ready, etc) the first thing she always say is the time it takes as if it is an overly complex operation she is running . LOL Cannot she for once simply cheerily say ‘we are getting dressed up for Halloween!’? But no, she has to go into this whole bemoaning of ‘two hours of dress-up, blah, blah’ and insert this kinda long look on her face. That is a mood-killer for sure. I don’t really care to hear that it takes 2 hours because as a mother, it doesn’t matter to me! You just start earlier, so what! I would think she should focus more on that the children are excited about their costumes. She always acts as if everything is such a burden for her and doesn’t bring her joy. I don’t think she sincerely feels joy and probably hasn’t in a long long time. The other thing was her comment about the crew coming to dress up the children to play in the snow. I didn’t get that. Wasn’t the snow all melted away the next day? So the trip would be pointless, wouldn’t it be? Unless the crew actually came over during the snowstorm; what were they supposed to do there? In light of the arrest of Blankenship, I have to say that was bizarre to hear her say that. She also often said the children constantly ask when they are coming back so they can play. That must mean the crew haven’t been around since the show was cancelled. So why would they suddenly now start coming over and especially in a freak storm? Aren’t most of them from NYC or NC because I don’t think a lot of them live in PA? Her rambling just made no sense as usual!
I watch Nancy's show and do think she has put the spotlight on missing children and parents who kill. I respect the fact that she is working hard to make as much money for her charity as possible.
However, I do feel it was her that should have gone last night instead of David. He has a natural talent for dancing and I felt that he was a contender, while NG though improving is not. I do feel that having the forum she has to promote herself helped make that happen. He was a showman and I hope they bring him back in some capacity like they did Carson.
Hooray for Jon! I knew she was lying about the guy. She has the attitude if you ignore something it will go away. Once again Jon is stepping up and fighting for his kids. I am sure he must be worried right now, as we all see Kate slip further an further down the rabbit hole through the forum that she herself has provided and by no other means. He knew she was not capable of taking care of those kids on her own. No wonder he went off the deep end and needed to be fixed (for free in her eyes).
I am sure when Kate decided she had to tear the family apart she never envisioned herself actually doing the work of taking care of the kids. She was on a big money high and it must be rough coming down from that and facing reality, without reality TV.
I am sure she will get something else but it will not last. Like my son says it is not how much money you make it is how regular it is. The problem with Kate is that she thinks the world owes her a living, and she has already shown that she has no qualms about going back to grifting full time. They didn't say, but I wonder if she will be selling autographed copies of her book (now out 2 years and newly discovered by her fans) and pictures after the talk as was her previous MO.
David was a showman and entertaining and was becoming a very good dancer.
He will be missed. I hope they bring him back in some capacity, like they did Carson.

Well, as usual, count on Jon for the straight scoop. He might not be the best extemporaneous speaker, but he doesn't carefully parse his words to mislead.
It made no sense at all the Jon and Kate would have never, ever met anyone who worked on the show beyond the immediate film crew.
This is the type of outrage and response I would expect from BOTH parents. This is a bombshell and not one of the ladies on The View even broached the subject, not even to find out if Kate is looking into it.
At least the kids know that one of their parents is pursuing this matter.
I wonder if she wrote her speech for this college thing she wrote "pause for laughs"...

Regarding Kate's speaking engagement on Thursday: Given the opportunity, I'll be first in line to ask her the pedophile question. But, let's get real ... Kate interact with the audience with anything other than pre-approved questions? That'll never happen.
I, too, find her choice of time and location to restart her speaking tour to be a bit odd. First of all, the Fayette campus is several miles (like maybe 5) outside of Uniontown. It's a totally rural setting with nothing within walking distance, other than maybe a few factories. And secondly, why 12:00 noon? I suppose the organizers are hoping the Penn State employees will drop in on their lunch hour to fill the auditorium?
I suspect Kate thinks she has a future as a motivational speaker and is using this venue to test her new presentation. Instead of "Poor Kate, Mother of 8: The Trials and Tribulations of Raising 8 Kids," her new theme is "Resilient Kate: How I NEVA Give Up."

Liar, liar, pants on fire, Kate. And I gave her the benefit of the doubt on this one because editors are often locked up in an editing bay and you don't interact with them much. But they went to N.C. several times and this was a very small production and they may very well have gone to Figure 8 Offices for meet and greets.
So Jon has met the perv several times.....interesting because I am sure Kate wouldn't allow him to meet an executive of the show without her right there. Love how Jon pretty much threw that *itch under the BBB with his comment.

Re: Jon's response to the child porn ring
1) Good for Jon, in terms of contacting an attorney and the authorities to find out to what extent his children's images may have been involved.
2) For those critical that he shared this info with Star, I think they are public enough figures that a response from the parents was appropriate.
3) In Kate's defense (or at least some possible explanations for her lack of response) -
* TLC may have told her to stay mute in the topic
* Her handlers may have told the View the topic was not up for discussion which is why they didn't bring it up
* Kate herself has said she doesn't notice other people. She may have met Bill Blankenship and it simply didn't register with her. Why would she remember him? She had handlers to do that kind of thing for her.
Remember, per Steve and others, Kate was and to some extent probably still is very insulated from the outside world. She is also a narcissist. So her lack of response is to be expected. She probably has been told "Don't worry about it" and so she isn't. I'm not saying that it's an appropriate reaction just that it's a very Kate reaction.
Kate resilient? She couldn't make it for more than a couple hours camping in Alaska and practically had a nervous breakdown when someone else at Steve's leftovers.
This woman is unreal. There are countless hours of her meltdowns over nothing. Jon! Hellooooooo!! Help me! Their ruined! There's not enough room for all of us, we have nowhere to go!!

Huh? How should a lawyer respond to Nancy Grace's misdeeds that occurred over 10 years ago? Stone her and demand she be strung up on a tree by the neck? And why does this have to do with her ability to dance and bring in charity money? Countless celebs have far more black marks on their records.
Her misconduct was appropriately dealt with. It was a State Supreme Court, not the Supreme Court, by the way. Big difference. She's not even practicing law anymore. I have faith in our state bars that they are usually able to appropriately deal with misconduct. And they have here. They won't hesitate to disbar someone when appropriate. I don't believe it's my obligation to do anything more than stand behind the state bar's decision--which said she can still practice law.
I am struck by how "normal" Jon's reaction is. And it was pretty much our reaction wasn't it?
1. Of course I knew this guy oh my God!
2. I want to know what footage he has, if any of our footage was involved, and I want to know now (DUH!!!!)
3. I want to sue the pants off him.

It's good to read that Jon is taking proper action with this. I wish Kate would behave the same, but her actions and words speak loudly as to where her priorities are.
As far as Jon contacting Kate through email- it appears that once you have been banished and deemed unnecessary in her life, this is her favored method of communication.
Jon has become part of the excommunicated & mediocre in Kate's life.
Maybe the queen will entertain his request...

Wouldn't it be the ultimate in redemption if Jon is able to get his kids $150,000 per photo??? There could be hundreds of photos, he could get them millions potentially.

Yes. Kate is one of those people who will have you thinking that you're the crazy one. Her reaction was so out of the norm and once again, did not comport with her sappy rhetoric. If you love your kids you will fiercely protect them. I don't need a huge statement from Kate, just something to indicate that she is looking into the matter and will pursue it until satisfied that her children were not involved, even peripherally.
Jon must have thought more than once that he was losing his marbles.
Jon pays child support based on his income. I think almost nine-hundred dollars a month covers more than the kid's lunches, but it doesn't go very far in truly supporting eight children.
Kate is going to have to downsize, and find whatever job she can. Jon is going to have to assume more financial responsibilty.
These nit-wit parents both need to step up to the plate and figure out how they're going to raise their kids.
Good for Jon and I just hope that don't give Kate a spot on ET or any tv show to tell her side of it. No more air time for this woman please

Just watched the video of the View. Seriously, what 7 year old still needs to be dressed (either by "the crew" or their parents)? At 7 I would assume that they could get into their snow gear by themselves. Do kids even wear snowsuits any more (think Randy Parker in A Christmas Story)? Two hours to dress for Halloween? I'd think that they'd be so excited that they'd be ready in a flash. I'm not knocking the kids but when she makes statements like this she makes them sound like they can't do anything without her guidance - come on Kate, they're 7 and 11 for God's sake! As for the "dead babies" controversy, I think that since it was a zombie theme people assumed that they were dead babies.....you know sheeple, the "living dead". I agree with those that said she was a last minute fill in and they had to throw some sort of costume together for her. I thought the costume was pretty funny if you think of it as a "zombie mother" rather than "zombie hooker". Well, both are funny really.
If TLC legal was telling Kate not to say anything, then she wouldn't have even said she didn't know him (which in and of itself could have a bearing on a lawsuit, DUMB KATE). I think they might have told her after the fact not to comment.
However, before this happened, couldn't she have at least said something to express her horror? This is outrageous, I'm horrified, oh my God.

Tucker you're right Kate has devoted her life to trying to convince everyone else they're the crazy ones. It's refreshing to see Jon swoop in with a reaction that is NORMAL and validates our reactions, basically how everyone here reacted. Shocked, outraged, hope they sue, want to know what footage he has. He hit all the major points.
What's sad? It's not even our kids. And it seems to me we're more outraged than their own darn mother. At least one half of their parental figures feels the same.
If a lawsuit is filed, the money (all of it) should go into a trust for the children. I do hope Jon isn't trying to pull a Kate with plans to use the money to support the kids.

Tucker that would have been a perfect statement from Kate. I would have absolutely nothing to criticize about that statement. That's another reason she will never make it long term in this business. Her PR skills are an epic fail.

I was concerned that yet another normal childhood activity (OK, not all kids get dressed up and go out on Halloween) went by the wayside because they weren't being filmed.
I just don't believe that Kate got back from NYC, a 3-hour trip, and got the kids ready to go out and drove them around to get candy.

Tucker's Mom...No, it would seem she didn't get home in time. According to someone on Twitter who has a connection to the limo service or driver, she was out to dinner at Benihana in NYC on Monday night. But why lie, Kate? Why lie about absolutely everything - even the smallest details? She 'got her power back last night'...oops, no, she was without power 'for almost 2 days'. Every one of her trees was broken from the inches and inches of snow...'only trunks left'. Oops...no, it was only a few inches of snow that melted the next day and one tree seems to have been damaged badly. She was 'snowed in'...oops, no, somehow miraculously the driveway was plowed and all the snow and branches moved out of the way. Within an hour on twitter, as I recall hearing. ??? Even her Sheeple keep asking her how their Halloween was..did they have fun, what did the kids dress up as, etc., etc. From Kate: Twitter silence. Even the fans seem to be getting the idea that something is not right with her - why lie??

In other news, Kris Jenner is giving Kate a run for her money when it comes to how many talk/rag mag shows she can be on in one day. Kris is doing damage control like nobody's business.
So far, she's been on the Today Show and now she's scooted over to The View. It's a Gosselin-esque media blitz!
The gals on The View also discussed Nancy Grace staying on DWTS due to her promise to donate all her proceeds to charity. Could be that it touches people that she's doing all this and donating the money.
It's not fair or unfair that David Arquette got eliminated, but I sure will miss his performances and seeing his (ex?) wife and daughter rooting him on so happily and proudly.
Courtney Cox has shown class and dignity and it's really respectful and loving to her ex who is still the father of their child. That's what matters most.
Star22, I was the one who said The View was on at the gym. Actually, to call it a gym is an exaggeration - it's a fitness room at our condo building with one large TV and I was running and some girl was watching it and she poked me and said, "Your favorite person is on." So yes, I did unplug and listen for a couple minutes before I turned my music back up. So (yeah, right), it was true. I did not go looking for her, I saw a few minutes and then tuned out. So what?
When Kate mentioned having the crew come over, dress the kids, and play in the snow with them...
Kate HATES dressing her kids in their snow clothes, she has made that clear over the years. And since the RV episodes showed how much the crew did for her in day to day life, she misses them doing this too. If you live in a snow state with kids, you KNOW how much is involved in getting kids dressed to play in the snow - although 7 year olds are more than old enough to manage on their own now by now.
Her kids fight and hit each other. Someone has to be out there minding them and Kate isnt going to do it, we all know she cant cope if it's below 65F and less than sunny. Besides, she is much too busy and exhausted (and exhausted and busy). So once again, isnt that the film and production crew's job, to mind her kids? No? Why not? It has been their jobs for the past 6 or 7 years... (in her eyes).
She must not have a nanny at her back and call right now; if the kids' school was closed down due to weather, she was alone with the kids with only housekeeping staff and they most likely refused to dress the kids and go mind them out in the snow. So Kate was just remembering outloud about the days when she used to 'mastermind' and 'organize' those childcare tasks over to the crew.
This blurt by Kate about the crew wanting the 'crew' to come over and do this is indicative to me of more coming down to earth. There really was a part of her that believed those poor people did all that work all those years because they "luuuuved her and luuuuved the kids" as she used to say all the time. Well, without being paid they suddenly dont "luuuv" being Katie's beck-and-call people anymore and it is just now hitting her.

I bet Kate is taking notes. I will meet ya back here in 5 years when Kate clearly starts pimping out her daughters Kardashian-style. We will all be saying "hmmm... where have we seen THESE techniques before?"
Dwindle, Kris has been peppered with questions about Kim's marriage and she has not emm'ed or umm'ed once. No parsing of words, no increased respirations and avoiding eye contact. You know, indications of lying... although I think she's working with a team of PR people to get the party line out and protect the mega-millions brand.

I totally agree. Most of us are moms and are reacting so strongly because we see these kids who need nurturinbg, not nagging. Its like if we see a scared, hungry child in the grocery store who shows signs of neglect or abuse - the first instinct is to help.
I was wondering - Kate's appearance on the View was really odd. Does anyone think that maybe, just maybe, she is starting to comprehend the backlash against her? Maybe someone told her about the comments of the View's facebook page that had to be taken down? Someone told her to take it down a notch? Although it was still the usual BS questions, she did seem to be a bit....contrite?
Does anyone think that she reads the gossip sites? She responded to some stuff on infdaily pretty quickly...maybe like Dina Lohan - does she read all the stuff about her?
AND WHY IS THE ARREST NOT BIG NEWS????
why is this not all over the news - rather than covering the 72 day who-the-hell-cares kim k divorce???

If I didn't live so far away, you can bet I'd be there . I would just like to see if she really is as dumb as I think she is.But most of all, to see if Purseboy is with her and will be protecting her from her many fans.

Was Kate's power even out for 24 hours? We've been out since Saturday, and not due back until midnight Sunday. Still over 400K w/o power in CT. Some areas are still cleaning up fallen trees so crews can look at the downed lines. Kate is all about the drama. A well insulated house doesn't get that cold one night w/o power. Internet just game back on again. Milo is suck a kissbutt. Kate must be so behind in laundry, haha. Try waiting for Sunday to do laundry and no power, now going on 2 weeks w/o laundry. We're running out of underwear LOL. Glad we have the foresight to have a generator and camping stove. I am sick of cold showers and boiling water to do dishes.
