Kate's press tour before series finale--9/12/11

On Today, Kate calls Jon's job out of the public eye 'mediocre'

Kate makes the rounds of Today and the Wendy Williams show this morning. Will anyone bother to question Kate, who has been on a poor me tour this week claiming to be "terrified" and "freaking out" about the future, about this little purchase she successfully hid from the public since April?

The only explanation for her still having a nanny four times a week when she isn't even WORKING is that she doesn't want to raise her own children. There is no other explanation. She needs to just admit it, she would rather pay to have someone do such mediocre things and swoop in when she needs them for filming or pictures. I resent that this is the children's money paying a nanny salary they don't NEED TO PAY!!! Kate? You birthed them, watch your own children. They are old enough now you don't need extra help for just a normal day!

Most mothers (and fathers for that matter) who get fired will say the one big blessing is now I'm home with the kids. She has them back with nannies more than ever!

Exactly, no judge is going to require you pay enough child support to be able to support a little prince and princess. They DO look at a child's lifestyle. They're not going to let you get away with paying 50 bucks a month if a child has an upper-middle class lifestyle. But a judge isn't going to make you pay outrageous amounts for outrageous houses no one can afford or private school no one can afford and all organic food and so on and so forth. No judge.

======================

Check out Dina Matos McGreevey's story. She asked for $4,000 in child support and got $1,075. Her ex-husband was the governor of New Jersey who took a huge cut in pay when he left office. Interesting case in which the judge ruled that Jim McGreevey was under-employed, but she wasn't entitled to live the same lifestyle that she did when she was NJ's First Lady. This is what admin was commenting about.

Read the last three paragraphs - sound familiar?

You know the pathetic way Kate tried to explain away this HORRIBLE insult by saying I was just talking about Jon? Well that's rather like saying "ugh I hate your red hair!" And then subsequently trying to weasel your way out of that somehow not being an insult against every redhead who ever existed.

She may have just been talking about Jon, but it was insulting to everyone.

More than anything though, I just feel sorry for her that she can't see how mediocrity is the path to fulfillment. Actually I think she sees it she just can't wrap her mind around it, it drives her NUTS that Jon is happy because it doesn't make sense to her.

Dwindle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What were you thinking??????

Those poor nursing home patients - kart would never agree to stay in the office when she has a whole nursing home of vunerable folks to push around!

Gawd, just think of how much fun she'd have organizing their meals, their roommates, cutting up their pancakes, setting out the 3 grapes per plate, keeping those pesky visitors and volunteers in line...... {SNORT}

Ah Dwindle, nursing homes in America are gonna freak!

LOL - you know I love ya, right?:-)

I really think that she's miffed because this means that now she can't afford to get them out from under foot and send all of them to boarding school in a few years!

That bitch.

In RV Part 2, she yells across to the other RV something like, "Thanks for sticking me with the PRESCHOOLERS. We have to learn to tell time and the alphabet and take our naps............"

This was in response to being called the Boring Bus.

Classic narcissist bitch.

ADMIN you missed Wendy Williams? She said she had a 'girl' that does laundry and other things to FREE her up to be with the kids, THEN she said she had a full time babysitter 4 days a week. LOL If it frees her up then WHY the babysitter? Total idiot.

Carolina Peach,

Thank you! I think it was over-sharing a bit, but that's where I'm coming from. The "Sheeple" like to think we're all jealous, and they can't understand all that concern about the kids. She needs to thank God every day that she has them, and reflect upon the miracle that brought them into her life. They don't have to line up and stay clean and talk in order, they just need to BE. It's hard work being a Mom, especially with a large bunch of kids, but so what? When your two-year-old (as mine just did) smiles up at you and says, "You're my girl, Mommy", it's all worth it.

From the quote I read here Kate didn't say Jon's JOB was mediocre, just the things it could pay for are. Or, the things Jon considers worth buying versus what Kate considers is worth buying. Jon, whose regular job buys a comfortable home and everything else important can't be bought with cash. Kate- doesn't have a job, makes her kids buy their own house and food, and anything you can't buy with cash isn't worth existing.

Discussion thread is up go there for this episode!

Many reality stars have gone on to do interesting fulfilling things with their lives, but out of the public eye. It never springboards into anything else. Elizabeth Hasselback is pretty much the poster child of a career after reality. It just doesn't happen that often. And for her, she is so talented and such a genuine person (if you watched Survivor, it wasn't all that surprising that instead of hanging out with the young and dumb, instead she bonded with older contestant and sweetheart Roger, the two of them were as close as father and daughter when all was said and done--truly one of the most beautiful friendships to watch on that show), that I think this TV career would have happened for her even without the reality show. If anything the reality show might have been a black mark for her, something that could have potentially held her back!

I thought Kate said Jon's job can only support a mediocre lifestyle, which is the same exact thing as saying the job is mediocre, I think that's why we're sort of short-handing it to say mediocre job.

When someone says a job is mediocre, I don't take it to mean the job itself is mediocre, I take it to mean exactly what she meant, the lifestyle is mediocre. What does a mediocre job even mean? It's the lifestyle that's mediocre. We get what she's saying, we understood.

Kate's quote:
"It's a situation where Jon may be accepting of mediocre for his kids and working a regular job. I want the best for my kids and the best opportunities in life... and this has provided that."

Kate constantly finding some way to throw Jon under the bus in almost every media interview she does, finally back-fired on her BIG TIME.

Good, I'm glad she has a website now. It surely was not HER idea, and she definitely is not running it or probably having much at all to do with it. But at least her couple dozen sheeple can now have a little playground of delusion together and take it off Twitter.
-----------------------------------
So funny! That just makes me wonder if all the Klover sites will now die out cuz everyone is hanging out on Kate's site instead...hmmm....ROFLMAO!!

She only wishes she was mediocre, she's "sucky stupid" and she and her dwindling flock are the only ones that don't see it. Even if she worded it wrong, it's still an insult to say something that stupid after 9/11, 343 mediocre firefighters climbed 104 flights in a burning building to save people is not worthy, 63 Officers helped injured people leave a burning building is not glamorous, 40 regular working people risked their lives and stopped one plane from hitting the Capitol building is boring mediocre. I bet all of their kids and loved ones would gladly accept that mediocrity to spend even 10 minutes with any of them. Kate Kreider, ever saw the movie "Despicable Me"?, you're worse than that fictional character.

During my first year of Seminary, I worked at a fast food restaurant. It paid for my books, a big portion of my tuition, and I was proud I had an honest job. It taught me about working with the public, keeping a humble spirit (the customer is always right) and looking for the good in all things, even fast food lunches.

A good friend of mine is a High School teacher.
At night she works at Subway. She is proud of both of her jobs and her children reap the benefits of her hard work. They have learned a very strong work ethic from their widowed mom.

Hard work is its own reward. The rest is gravy.

I reported on Saturday that she was dress shopping at our local mall.

You sure did say that. Wow, such a broke mommy looking for work and all. I am sure she will need the dresses for all the job interviews? Haha

******

Let's see.... her closet is full of tight, low cut tops, satin shorts, too tight jeans, skirts up to here.... maybe she does need a new wardrobe for job interviews!

That reminded me my mother often told me when I was growing up that hard work builds character.

You and she are are absolutely correct!!! Call me old-fashioned but but there's nothing like putting in a hard day's work and earning (key word) your salary.

No Regrets,
I agree that the comments left in the previous thread by "ellie" were disgusting, but why would you copy and paste them into this new thread? IMO, it's best to leave things like that where they'll probably never be seen except by accident.

Kate was dropping her usual hints on the final shows to get her manipulations and wants in, worked before for her. Wonder if those little old ladies will start sending those 10 dollar bills again for her babies?...like she bragged about? (You can almost see young Kate sitting in her father's church learning how to get 'everything she ever wanted'. Sociopath.

im glad the show will end. the kids need a real life & not one that is scripted. kids will be sad though since they are cared for by staff & cameramen. in time they will get real friends & maybe a real mother who isnt into fame & fortune & exploiting own children for trips, wardrobes & a new sports car, $ went to her head which in my opinion is 1st in "her" books. Jon is right-you need to get a job & start being a parent. SPORTSCAR-maybe to make self financially poor & cry poor me
