Kate’s Night Out 6/6/11: Discussion Thread

Is Kate’s night on the town with Jamie the ultimate in selling out? Is this behavior appropriate for a family show? Perhaps getting a foot-licking is Kate’s new and improved idea of making memories. Will her own fans not want to watch this with their kids? And if this is a family show, why is it on at 10 o’clock at night? Discuss here.

I loathe this "woman" and her entire brand! said... Ratings are in! 1.214 and .5 for the 18-49 crowd. Near the BOTTOM of the list for Monday night cable shows!

------------------------------------------------

While it's disheartening to see the ratings increase almost 100% from the May 3rd ratings of 0.681 million, her ratings in the prized demographic of adults 18-49 are awful, only .5 million. The sponsors look for the 18-49 years olds for advertising - not that those of us in that age group can afford anything anyway. Great to see that folks in Khate's peer age group are not tuning in.

Maybe now that her tweenie fans are out of school and can stay up past 10:00, they're watching in droves. I can see older people that don't follow blogs/forums watching just to see the kids. Also, there are people who might have been watching Cake Boss and fell asleep with the TV on. Maybe the generous Christian community tuned in to see this once "devout" Christian booze it up like a fish (IIRC, alcohol comsumption is forbidden in her church). I also agree Jaime might have had some impact, as well, as there hasn't been another featured adult for Khate to bounch off of since Jon left the show.

NT: Kate gets paid $250,000 per episode, so yes she is getting $500,000, for the 2 back to back episodes.

Some episodes are one hour, some are 1/2 hr. Is that $250,000 per 1/2 hr. or one hr. episode? I don't think we know exactly what she gets paid.

I have NO problem with E-Town Neighbor's accounts. She is as "real deal" as it gets. I guess some haven't figured out that the Gosselin children are not the only children who attend that school.

E-Town Neighbor would be a credible witness in a court of law when it came to Jon's involvement with the children at the school. She is not providing hearsay, she is providing eyewitness accounts based on her location that puts her square in prime vantage point to know which Gosselin parent shows up at school events and which one doesn't. I believe every word she's told us up to this point and can't think why I wouldn't continue to believe her in the future. She corrects us when she finds one of us doesn't have facts straight.

Sorry, E-Town, I have assumed you are a female.
Perhaps not. If not, accept my apologies for getting that wrong.

Sharon,

Oh, here's a thought for Kate's explanation about the foot licking. Kate has told her kids over and over about washing their hands and staying clean, right? Well, "Jamie dropped a bit of sushi on Mommy's leg, and Mr. Tongue Man saw it. I knew his hands were dirty because he had touched the bar counter with them, and he had put his hands on his cocktail napkin and it was dirty, so he offered to wipe the sushi off with his cheek and tongue. Since they hadn't touched any surfaces, I knew they were acceptably clean."

Would the kids buy that? How about sheeple?

So, I think this is interesting...in the showbiz tonight? (the cnn show) interview, if you read the transcript, at the very bottom, they ask Kate if she would ever run a marathon. Her answer is I was supposed to run a half marathon today actually (paraphrasing) in San Diego. This statement makes no sense to me. If you were supposed to run a half marathon across the country, you would have prepared for that trip, bought tickets, etc. and I am sure that you would clear taking a trip like that with your employer so you knew that you could go. There was a marathon in SD over the weekend--the rock and roll marathon, with a half marathon included. This is a big deal in San Diego and they would have gotten just as much press coverage if they let her do the run, and then say, some interviews in LA on Monday. Of course, we all know that Kate would never pay for a trip like this herself, so I think this was supposed to be filmed and was pulled for whatever reason. I wonder why?

carolina peach said...

Where to begin? Was really surprised that she let the cameras into her 'Inner Sanctum". looks like she does have a fax/copier?

The response to the kids sliding down the stairs was "Is that MY GOOD sleeping bag? Whatcha saving it for, Kate? Know you're not gonna be using it unless there's another trip to Alaska planned.

Thank you, Administrator. We asppreciate you.

mamaK said...

Oh, if only she had been vomitus (as someone posted above) and Jamie had "cared" for her by tucking her into the bathroom floor. I would have tuned in for that!
Of course, Kate doesn't realize how stupid she looks. As long as she is famous, she is "game for anything" (cnn interview).

Let me add my voice to the supporters of E-town, who has been consistently respectful of the children in her/his posts, and quite discreet. It would be a good idea of posters who call others out on a credibility issue did a little research first, so that the criticism can be based in fact, not assumptions.

Here's a link to an article about the Walton sextuplets, who grew up in a one-bathroom house:

http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/top-stories/2011/06/07/the-walton-sextuplets-on-love-marriage-and-sharing-one-bathroom-115875-23184559/

Apparently it isn't necessary to pimp out your sextuplets in order to produce loving siblings and productive adults.

Sad to say, it's very difficult to imagine the Gosselin children having this kind of family feeling in later life after their neglectful, abusive childhood.

"Mr. Tongue Man" - Oh my. I snorted ice tea over that one! Immediately, the opening words to a song parady began running through my head, to the tune of "Mr. Sandman". "Oh Mr. Tongue Man, Send me a . . ." Um No, this is supposed to be a reasonably clean and proper blog, so I better not go on.

Sorry, I "misremembered" on that "Happy Days" episode. Fonzie was indeed on water skis, not his motorcycle. It's been a looooooooooooong time since I saw that episode.

I'm STILL unable to post here using my screen name and avatar. I've tried using something other than my Google account, but the only way I can get a post through is to use anonymous. I even tried changing my screen name. I don't know if the problem is with my particular computer for some reason, or if it's Google, or what.

I heard her say that about the half-marathon in San Diego, too.

It was an odd thing to say, in the context in which she said it. There was something weird about it, the way she said it, and the body language at the time.

I had the definite feeling she was saying about it for a reason, but couldn't see what it was. I think she wanted the interviewer to pick up on something, but he didn't catch whatever it was.

I was wondering if it was another of her lies...the kind that could be true, but isn't. Or maybe TLC had it arranged a long time ago, but recently decided not to do it?

I couldn't decide if she was talking about it in a braggy way, or if it had really been scheduled/cancelled and she was put out about it.

I don't know...it just seemed off somehow.

Good point! one of my favorite shows...Roseanne. Her show majorly jumped the shark its last season. There was also a website devoted to shows that JTS. They also say that any show Ted Mcginley is in jumps the shark, because usually he kills a show. Kate jumped the shark time & time again when her & her kids went on trip after trip. There was obviously NOTHING else to do, as Dee said. Then why not just cancel?

Interesting question for y'all....

What do you think the "paperwork" is that she's constantly buried under??

I can't imagine that she pays her own bills or does her own taxes, but maybe. That's an hour a week?

Stuff for the show would be taken care of by production??? I can't see her calling up places and making arrangments to film, getting the confidentiality agreements signed, etc.

School permission slips can't take more than a few minutes a day.

So what do you think all this "paperwork" is? Just an effort to make herself seem important?

Sorry to post again Admin! If I had a teenage daughter (thank God I do not! That would scare me!) & I walked into her bedroom & the scene of Kate drinking it up & getting her foot licked by some dude at a bar was playing on TLC, I would be...well, pissed! I'm no prude at all, but to think that my daughter was watching k+8, (maybe being blind to the whole thing, only knowing she is a mom to 8 kids & that is it) so thinking, OK, no big deal, you can watch, & seeing that kind of thing, I would be quite upset with not only TLC, but with the fact that this "mother" lets strangers lick her feet.

Obviously, I AM in the know & would NEVER let anyone in my family watch (I have a son who never would anyhow) but I hope this message is loud & clear to parents of teen girls now & they step up & say NO MORE K+8 for you! 'We don't want you watching this garbage!' It's no worse than the Jersey Shore of course, but those kids don't have kids at home & profess to be 'great moms who will do anything for their kids' either. Chalk another one up for Kate for probably effing up another fan base. TLC, hey! Do you see what you're doing with Kate? Is it on purpose? Keep going dummies!!

A thought about the discussion of someone asking for a source from someone else saying that Kate didn't go to the school events for the kids, whilst Jon did go.

That person maybe does have personal experience and just doesn't want to share it. Fair enough. We also get to choose whether or not to believe her/him, then.

But, on the other hand, look at the video evidence that we have seen. And the other public evidence. Kate herself has bragged that she's hardly ever home. That this year is the most she's been home in years(!).

When she first started traveling for her "job", wasn't she bragging that she hadn't been home more than 1 or 2 days in a row for the past several months, and that was only to unpack/repack?

Kinda hard to go to kids' school events when you're not home.

Granted we don't have much (or any?) public evidence that Jon went to school events, but we sure can tell that Kate DIDN'T go.

so sick of her said...

Oh, about the paperwork Kate has to deal with. It's probably bills. Kate does not pay them on-line. What she and about a quarter of the airheads, and so-call organized people do is put them in a basket, and let them pile up and go through them once a month and bitch about it. I'm sure when Kate was married to Jon he handle all the bills, and I'm sure he had some heated arguments with her about spending. That is why Kate bitches about the paperwork, cause now she has to do it and TLC won't hire her an assistant, to deal with it. Course, some of it might be court stuff, that she has to turn in every month to prove her spending and her need for child support(that she has to be accountable for). Kate does give herself away. Keep twittering Kate!

Mel, I think that's exactly what it is. She's recently stated when it comes to work, TLC tells her to jump and she jumps. It sounds like she literally sits around the pool waiting for TLC to call her for interviews/filming trips. Khate has always exaggerated everything in an effort to gain admiration or pity.

I would have been very surprised if the ratings did not spike for this episode, just based on the enticing promos they ran, plus the media “blitz.” That said, if they decide to transition this show into a spectacle for Kate, it will get old, fast. Sure it was different, and people were curious, but from what I hear it was still boring and she’s still unlikeable. Paris Hilton’s new reality show was yanked after only 2 episodes. Hang in there, gang. She’ll be gone before we know it.

#####

There are lots of good reasons NOT to pay bills online. Online bill-paying is just hunky-dory right up and until you have a problem, and then you can just suck eggs trying to get an issue resolved - the whole point of "online" is to keep humans out of the equation.

It's no fun having hundreds of dollars you can't touch while a utility company spends months and months "straightening out" an online billing error.

Never mind the security issues, which I won't go into here. Having your whole life on your computer is not generally a good idea, as people are likely to discover in increasing numbers over the next decade.

In our security-conscious household, paying the bills takes about two hours a month. Big deal. But then I'm not continually exhausted from all the hard work I've put in sitting by my pool and pimping out my kids.

I heard her say that about the half-marathon in San Diego, too.
====================
My television was running in the background when Access Hollywood came on. There was filmed footage of the mini-marathon showing Kit (the AH co-host) and her husband at the start of the race. There actually was quite a bit of conversation about it before Kate was even introduced. (It was for a cause but, unfortunately, I do not remember the charity named.) Kit and her husband both finished the race but Kit, as a much stronger runner than her husband finished . . .(and the rest was left unsaid, since Kit did not want to be seen as dissing her husband on television)

That is why it seemed weird--Kate had to introduce herself into a story that had not been about her at all and may have felt some awkwardness about dumping a charity event that she had probably been booked on for a long time.

There can be errors and nightmares with paper billing too. Checks lost in the mail and so on. I've been doing online billing for most things for almost a decade without problems. And, some companies will even give you a small discount for doing it online. So you get that and save the cost of stamps, envelopes and checks. I def prefer it and see some significant advantages.

I get a kick out of how her ratings dropped during that expensive 3 episode trip to Australia and NZ. (besides dropping before that) All that money TLC spent to do it and ratings kept dropping. Well, I still pay cash out and pay my bills at the currency, and take my bills directly to the stores and pay them(my excuse to go shopping there) My brother is always telling me to do it on line. Maybe someday. As, for Kate, this twit can't even block her haters, without having TLC do it, but she can post a pic(for a person who said she has no camera?)So for her paying online, she would have as someone said here, nothing to bitch about. An yes, it takes only 10-15 min to write checks, depending on how many bills you have. 4 utilities, and what about 4-5 credit cards, mortgage, insurance(car, house, maybe health?) comes every 6 months, so does property tax(unless you pay full amount), school every month payment again unless you pay full amount at one time. I would say if you are half organized, about no more than say 1 hour at most or less. But if you are a slob, and just toss bills on to the desk, and have a pile in no time, well yeah, it will take more than 15 min to clean off and sort. From the way Kate described her desk/bedroom last time, she is a bit of a slob. Well, of course anyone would bitch about it, for ATTENTION!

Online bill paying - especially the kind that I can arrange to automatically pay my bills - is the best thing that ever to my financial life, I love it! And an added benefit is when I am deployed at sea and we don't get mail for over a month at a time, I can still pay all my bills on time. I can say for myself I have never had a problem with this system. I have had many, MANY problems with paper bill pay, all due to my own lack of organizational skills, but problems none the less. Now all my bills are paid on time, every month without fail.
I think Kate is the type of person who would take charge of her own bill paying (online or paper- doesn't matter) because she would want to see exactly where the money is going- every single cent.

I missed the deadline here and don't get to run in a couple of weeeks. It happens. But then I scanned through the comments and someone mentions upthread that there was talk of the event by the cohost who did it BEFORE the interview. HUH? Did she actually interject herself into a story that had absolutely nothing to do with her? If so, I sigh a big sigh of resignation, yet again. I do not understand that woman.

Even though Admin does have a rule about insider stories, I think E-Town Neighbor has gotten a pass here because he/she has established him/herself as a credible source through their consistent posts for over two years on another anti-Gosselin blog.

When I jumped onto the Gosselin blogs (primarily GWOP), E-Town Neighbor was already around and seemed like the established go-to local about info (even before Werny Gal).

Although we are all anonymous people on a computer screen, like admin and many others on this blog, you build your credibility through your consistent posts. Admin, E-Town Neighbor, and many people here have been around for almost two years or so, building trust with their fellow readers by doing just that.

Anonymous said...

E-town Neighbor here!

Just wanted to say that I tried posting twice today in response to the support from so many of you regarding my credibility. I appreciate that. Thank you. For some reason, neither post made it through cyberspace, so I'll try again under ANON to see if this one gets through.

Thanks to wayward, Fido, TLC Sinking, Hippie, Mimi, Lanc County Mom, Golden Platter, and all the others here I have come to "know" because we all share the concern that the kids' privacy be protected at all costs, whether it be at school or at home.

I erased the copy of the previous post, which was long, and it's just too darn hot to try to remember everything I said, except that Fido nailed it when she said that the Gosselins aren't the only children in the school. There are parents, comunity members, board members, or persons in other positions there, some of whom may have 25 years or so involved with the school so they do have credibility when it comes to knowing much of what goes on there. They just choose, out of respect for the privacy of these children, not to shout it to the world just to prove that they are "in the know." They don't want or need 15 minutes of fame. Thanks, wayward, for helping to protect the privacy of these kids.

It's all about these children and their need to have somewhere they can go where they aren't under a microscope and don't need to live in fear that whatever they do will come under scrutiny because someone "in the know" puts it out there on every internet blog.

Oh, and I'd also mention that when rumors circulate about Kate herself that I know for a fact are untrue (such as Kate growing up in a trailer park), I will correct it. Kate is what she is, but darn it, when rumors are circulated that I know beyond a shadow of a doubt are just that -- rumors passed off as facts -- I will comment about it and correct it. Same goes for Jon. When I saw the comment that both Kate and Jon are neglectful parents, I couldn't let that one go because I have seen what a hands-on parent he is.

I do agree with the poster who said that she/he cannot accept information as credible without proof because I am the same way, which is why I alerted others here to a poster who had raised many red flags regarding credibility, both here and on the "other" blog.

Again, thanks to all of you out there who have said so many kind words. It does not go unappreciated.

Re Kate's paperwork: I picture her making list after list, crossing off and adding things, then making another (I'm thinking of the sloppy handwritten list of bills she was spotted with at Kinkos around pre-divorce time) and writing new post-it notes and pasting them everywhere. She probably takes the time to do the math after each entry in her checkbook (I haven't manually balanced my checkbook in over 15 years).

I see her as someone working hard to look busy, but who is doing what you and I could do efficiently in very little time. Despite her proclamations otherwise, she's never impressed me as being very efficient or organized and she probably engages in a lot of what I consider wasted effort and/or busy work. She'd rather take the time to neatly stack boxes of new school shoes in a closet the night before the first day of school only to have to scramble the next morning sorting and labeling them. UGH She's only OCD (I never believed one ounce of that bs) and efficient and organized and green in her own mind; she's never demonstrated it in her actions and I think she's the same way about her mountains of paperwork.

This woman has zero sensitivity. How does this little boy feel his school year is being discussed with his mom's creepy fans?

Maybe he had a rough school year because his idiot mother cannot shut up about him to her adoring public. Maybe it was rough because she filmed the living crap out of him all summer and every school holiday such that he was so exhausted and got very little prep time for school. Or maybe it was rough because he has to worry about covering his face for the paps every time he steps outside his house.

But whatever the reasons, she has absolutely no right to discuss it on twitter.

Seriously Jon needs to get back to court and get a gag order for this lunatic woman who calls herself a mother. No judge would ever support a mother discussing a child's private school problems on twatter-twat.

Anonymous, don't blame the messenger. Kate tweeted this to 10,000 people. It is highly unlikely it would go unnoticed.

I do not believe that not talking about the exploitation of these children is the solution. You obviously don't either, as here you are, talking about it.

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said...

Anonymous how can you possibly know that 99.9% of Kate's followers wouldn't give this tweet a second thought? Have you polled all 10,000 of her followers?

Kate's followers DO give her tweets a second thought, given that so many of them tweet her all day and night. They clearly care what she has to say. Even assuming your baseless assessment is correct, that Kate's followers don't give her tweets a second thought, it still doesn't excuse tweeting about your children's school problems.

The issue here is Kate exploiting Collin's school problems regardless who talks about it or who cares or doesn't care or who chooses to point out this exploitation.

You beat me to it, admin! I was all set to post when I read your comment. This is what ticks me off to no end. This is exactly what I was talking about in my previous post. There are people who know Collin had a rough year, but never would say anything about it because the kid deserves his privacy. The entire internet community doesn't need to know this, but here is HIS OWN MOTHER blabbing about it. There are those who are trying to protect the kids' privacy at school and do their best to make sure that this doesn't become fodder for internet gossip, but she cannot keep her mouth shut. This has been her problem all along. For some reason, she thinks that every aspect of these kids' lives are the business of bloggers, tweeters, and sheeple. When she began tweeting, she compromised their security by jabbering about their schedules.

Why is that? I remember when they were going through the divorce she made the statement that they were dealing with it in private. Shortly thereafter, there she was on television, commenting about it. Two years later, she is still going strong, discussing Jon and his relationship with the children. Good grief, woman, get over it and move on!

Of course, Pixie. Believe it or not, I'm a fact-finder and proof-seeker as well. There have been many, many times when I question something by asking for sources (especially on the "other" blog), but my post there never makes it to the blog.
"Like A Good Neighbor..." we always shake hands!

By the way, speaking of neighbors, I just remembered a blog written by a neighbor in Westbrooke, the Gosselin's former community. For those who haven't read it, this piece is probably among the best and most accurate I have ever read.

What's so darn ironic is that the people who ARE in close circles with the kids rarely if ever come forward. If they ever do, they only provide very general, basic information like E-town does such as Jon is a good parent. Well pin a rose on my nose, I think we can figure that out without an insider to tell us.

Teachers, friends, parents, have all been SOO discreet about these kids. I cannot think of one example of a legit parent, teacher, or friend ever coming forward to speak negatively about these kids. And all this diligence has been for nothing, when their own darn mother blows their privacy out of the water with one little tweet.

I think it's sad when your own inner circle, people such as the woman who gave birth to you, are far more disloyal to your privacy than outer circle people like teachers you only spend 9 months with you, or a friend you hang out with every couple weeks if that.

Kate is like a poor man's Oprah. They really do hang onto her every word. If she said she hates beef, the entire industry wouldn't collapse, but a tiny dip as her followers would never eat beef again at least.

Colin Gosselin, I must have twenty pictures saved of this child hiding his face. The Mother knows he hated the camera and she just kept marching on for money at the expense and sacrifice of his fraigle personality. Oh Yeah, he had a rough school year. He cowers behind the door or under the table when the witch comes home.

Don't forget that gossip magazines and sites also follow celebrity tweets.

Here's an example of a recent tweet from Kate made into celebrity gossip:

http://www.hollywoodlife.com/2011/06/07/kate-gosselin-tummy-tuck-video-kate-plus-

Some of mainstream media are aware of the sextuplets' school situation, so that tweet is something that might catch their attention.

I recall Radar Online reporting some of Jon's tweets especially when he spoke about a custody hearing.

Kate and her people really need to watch carefully what she tweets. Once it's out there, it's hard to delete.

Just look at Congressman Weiner who posted an obscene photo of himself on twitter. He can't undo what got sent to the internet.

Why is that? I remember when they were going through the divorce she made the statement that they were dealing with it in private. Shortly thereafter, there she was on television, commenting about it. Two years later, she is still going strong, discussing Jon and his relationship with the children. Good grief, woman, get over it and move on....
************
You said it! When the two kids got kicked out of school, she said it was a private matter and would be handled privately. Yeah right. That lasted a week or two before she blabbed to her minion Kate Coyne at People. That was followed by a media blitz where she spoke about it to EVERYONE.
I feel so sorry for those kids.
Does anyone remember the image of 4-5 of the kids hiding their faces, all surrounding a light pole at a shopping center in Quakertown, PA? They were being filmed for a back to school episode and the paps were there. This was when Colin was in his "hide the face" stage.
It was a sorry, sorry sight.

Some people have access to the real lives of the children and they refrain from blogging and including the photos of events. What do you want an award?

I live in Wernersville and my husband has worked on that property and he has seen things and I never say a word. People need privacy.

What is on TV is scripted, totally scripted. Me? I'm tired of those children being called slow, tiny, on high chairs, stop talking about them and talk about their mother and father. Leave the kids alone. Give them their privacy.

By being on this blog to say I know what goes on is what? Unless you work in that house and live in their homes, Kate and Jon's houses, we know nothing but what is on TV. Those kids are protected at school. No one, not one teacher talks about them, they are protected as well as the children of doctors, lawyers, professors and wealthy farmers and merchants.

So whatever you all think you know about their school activities, I doubt you know the truth.
If you did, you would know that Jon and Kate split activities, all of them. I even have seen both of them at events. Kate just stays hidden and not there for you to see her.

This is suppose to be about TLC and reality TV

If Joan Rivers is correct, Kate Gosselin and her show is as famous as Paris Hilton and we all know that no one cares about Paris Hilton any longer not when Kim Kardashian has more sex tapes.

I think E towner and her close friend like "being able to prove facts" but as I see it. We are just strangers, behind a screen and no how, no way should any facts be mentioned about the private lives of any member of the family.

TV film footage that was scripted, all of it was, is not fact. It is a scripted show, edited to show the craziness at the beginning. The meek and mild Kate and Jon. I saw Kate loving her children too. Just like Jon. I also saw them fall apart over money and material possessions, but I don't believe one person on this blog who demands respect for speaking fact.

You can swear on a Bible and I won't believe anything other than what I see with my own 2 eyes during Kate's interviews, it is about her, her importance, doesn't matter what happens to the kids, so it seems, but we don't know what has happened behind closed doors, do we? No.

Neither can neighbors. And I am entitled to my opinion. Write another letter to Rep Murt about the kids flying down the steps in sleeping bags and could possibly gotten hurt or the time in the yard having food poured on them and cherries placed on their heads, my kids didn't need this to "relax and have fun" TLC is sick and whomever gave them approval to film that has some severe problems.

Did you happen to catch the Larry King interview on February 2, 2009? You said you believe whatever Kate says in interviews, so you should believe this:

K. GOSSELIN: Well, with our reality show, obviously, we put them out there. And, you know, our goal in our show is to show the real life of what it is like to have two sets of multiples. And basically, essentially, we've made it your business.

"WE'VE MADE IT YOUR BUSINESS." Kate's own words. She acknowledges that the goal of the show is to show real life, and that it IS our business.
Perhaps you didn't see it with you own two eyes, but the transcript is available online.

Hi, Philadelphia Worker! Just read your post over on the other blog.
How long does it take you to drive from Philly to NY every day? Just curious - that must be some long commute!

Kids can get hurt anywhere at any time (horseback riding, running around a slippery pool deck, playground equipment) so I doubt that Representative Murt or the Department of Labor can tell TLC that it cannot film the kids sliding down the steps in sleeping bags, or they'd have to order TLC not to film ANY activities in which the children could possibly be injured.

I do agree that the shows are scripted. I think we all know that. They are told what to do, when to do it, and how to do it. It's become a way of life for them. It's all they know.

What events? Kate stays hidden? In what universe? A narcissist doesn't stay hidden! If anything, she makes sure that she is seen and always at the center of attention, which would explain why she left the Alaska camping trip early. Attention wasn't focused on HER! Anonymity is not in Kate's vocabulary.

If she stays hidden how did you see her?

So you are saying that you have access to the private lives of these children just because your husband has "worked on the property?" You know what goes on in that house and in their private lives? This is only your word, and quite honestly, it really holds no weight here, especially when posting under "anonymous."

This sounds suspiciously like another blogger on another site who has claimed the same thing.

"What is on TV is scripted, totally scripted. Me? I'm tired of those children being called slow, tiny, on high chairs, stop talking about them and talk about their mother and father. Leave the kids alone. Give them their privacy"

****
-----------

Tell that to their mother who has sold their privacy and consistently tweets about things that should remain private. She obviously doesn't care about the family's privacy, including Jon's. There are bloggers who care more about the children's privacy than their own mother does.

"So whatever you all think you know about their school activities, I doubt you know the truth."

****
-------------

And you do? Who is the "you?" Are you saying that because you live in Wernersville, you know about the Gosselins activiites, both at home and at school?

Sorry, I'm not buying it. There have been quite a few anons here and on other sites who have either seen or heard what goes on in the Gosselins' private lives in the Reading area, and they post the same thing over and over again and none of it has ever been verified.

Pixie said...

A Golden Platter is NOT the point said... Let me add my voice to the supporters of E-town, who has been consistently respectful of the children in her/his posts, and quite discreet. It would be a good idea of posters who call others out on a credibility issue did a little research first, so that the criticism can be based in fact, not assumptions
*********************************************

That's the problem. I cannot do research on an anonymous poster. So we'll agree to disagree. I simply refuse to blindly accept 'inside' sources without proof.

I've always kinda liked Jon myself. Except for when he went crazy after they split. I'm not arguing about whether Jon is a good dad or not.

My question was simply this: Without concrete sources, who here IS credible? My warning is not to believe everything you read. Carry on.

so sick of her said...

Mel said...
