Good grief, she's still preoccupied with the POOL. Tonight they'll be on the LEATHER sofa. But she better get those kiddos out the pool because there is very nasty weather heading that way. We're under the gun right now - funnel clouds to the west of us.
It was not that hot today and there's a nice breeze. If she's melting it's because of all the hot air inside of her.

Kate never mothered. Who said Kate was mothering or needed to mother her kids? She left Jon to do that and took off with Steve, Jon raised those babies, bathed them, fed them and tucked them into bed at night, then got them up in the a.m., changed them, got Kate her 8:30 a.m. coffee and he headed off to work when he had a job, otherwise he was there all week and Kate came home, repacked and out the door again. She never bonded or mothered. She has them isolated from everyone and they do what they are told or get punished or beaten, I'm sure she is still walking around with that wooden spoon unless she falls asleep drunk at night.
She is no mother. She gave birth, biological, not a mother, no way, doesn't teach those kids anything except how to get on and off a plane, walk in and out of a hotel and look away from the camera when being filmed "you never look directly at the camera, it ruins the shot"
Can someone please explain what interviews she might be doing on a holiday weekend. This is the second time in the past few weeks where weekend interviews have been mentioned - are these for real? Good thing she has that pool, god forbid she might take her kids anywhere that TLC is not paying for. We, however, will be taking our visiting grandson to the zoo and a baseball game, on our dime, and inviting famiily and friends over for a barbecue. And as a veteran of many, many school field trips, how awful to criticize an outing with her children in those words to her tweenie non-friends. Truly pathetic.

This is an annual tradition and everyone loves it. Parents look forward to it, and the kids have always enjoyed it. I've never seen a poison ivy field, so I'd take this for what it's worth - Kate with her exaggerations again. It's a nature walk - doesn't Kate like nature? She picked wildflowers. I would think she would have enjoyed this! I'm sure the teachers and all those who planned the trip will appreciate her twittering that it was "pretty dull." She's such a piece of work.
Her kids are lucky to go to a school that still has these school traditions and field trips, unlike some public schools struggling with budget issues who have to cut back on these extraneous activities and celebrations. Field trips are becoming fewer and fewer these days (maybe one a year) and I live in Orange County, CA.
Makes me appreciate the public education I received back in the 80s and 90s. It seemed like we had a field trip once a month...one of the best things about school! I remember going on school trips to Disneyland. Those were the days...

What is also sad is that she constantly tweets thanks to her young sheeple for supporting her, encouraging her, ad nauseam. To think that the only people left in her life who "believe in her" are immature, delusional teenagers is beyond pathetic.

Just as I've been saying for some time - she can't think before she speaks, or before she tweets. This is why she could never be a talk show host. Even if she hated the trip, she should have said something like "the kids had fun," or "the organizers did a super job planning this trip." Nope. As always, it's all about HER. For HER the trip was dull.

I will admit,I didnt enjoy every event that went on in my kids school.But I was there,and I did enjoy watching my kids have fun.I can remember them being so proud,dragging me by the hand introducing me to thier friends and teachers..."this is MY mom" with huge smiles on thier faces.I could never break thier hearts by telling them anything other than that was so much fun and I was very happy to be there! What a great day it was.
Heck even now when I go to my sons school ( he's 14) he gets a big smile on his face,comes up to me and gives me a hug.When I go to leave I get another hug and he tells me "love you mom".At 14 he still does this.I asked him if I was embarrassing him.He told me no...that I'm his mom and he dosent care what anyone thinks! I dont think kate will ever have anything like that with the kids.I cant call them her kids...they are her walking pay checks.There is no parent child bond.

Even as adults you sometimes go along with what other adults enjoy with a smile on your face. My parents love a certain restaurant that I absolutely hate. But it's not going to kill me to go with them once in awhile when they want to go. I go happily and take pleasure in watching them love a place they love and I usually manage to find something on the menu I like. I don't sit there and bitch and moan and spit my food out. Because this is what you DO when it's people you love.

Surely these people have kids, either their own or at least a nephew or something, and surely they cannot EVER imagine telling people that spending time with them was DULL. Who knew that Kate herself, via Kate's tweets, would be our strongest argument yet against KATE, lol oh sweet irony.

I really don't think Kate is a very intelligent woman. Some of the comments she has made are unbelievable. She is so wrapped up in herself, material things, and her looks that she can't empathize with anyone elses feelings including her own children. She can't even force herself to care about other people unless she is being paid to do so. Even with all the talk last night on Twitter about storms and tornado warnings she never once mentioned the tragedy in Joplin, Missouri. One fan even mentioned having her entire hometown wiped out by a tornado once. You're right Admin, she has no filter. She really can't help herself. She even had to have an earpiece during that interview with Natalie Morales because TLC didn't trust her to say the right things. A good portion of the sheeple admit they are not necessarily fans of Kate or agree with what she does they are there only to support her against the hateful and negative comments. Kate will be her own undoing. She has already turned so many people against her.

Narcissists are incapable of bonding with anyone, including their children. Simply put, they do not see other people as people, but rather they view them as tools to get them what they want and this includes their children. Most people with NPD have no use for their children after about the age of 2. Up until that age, they can control them and care for them in such a way that makes others believe they are the most wonderful mother ever. Most narcissists are very loving and doting mothers when their children are babies and young toddlers. After they start to lose their 'cuteness' and begin to be able to defy them in any way, they are done with them and begin the process of 'shedding' them. Unfortunately, the beating is a very common practice of NPD mothers. When they feel they have lost control of their children, they will beat them. My husband's mother is a narcissist and they were beat by her numerous times....to the point that he would not 'dress out' for PE at school because he didn't want anyone seeing his bruises.
Kate absolutely does not see or love her children the way most 'normal' mothers do. She simply is not capable. I'm not excusing her behavior at all...just stating a fact. It's an impossibility for a narcissist to bond with another human or have genuine affection for them. They will use anyone and everyone to get what they want. Their children are not an exception.
The field trip was for the children and for them to have a good time. I like what 'administrator' said about not having to like every, single think associated with your children. Most mothers would probably admit to not liking every, single activity done with their children. The difference is most mothers get joy from seeing their children happy and having a good time - even if they themselves don't necessarily care for the activity they are participating in. Kate is incapable of this. Unless the activity is something she enjoys or brings her attention, she is uninterested. She may tweet from time to time that the kids are 'having a great time', but she does not take pleasure in that. Twitter is an avenue that allows her to appear that she enjoys her kids by making comments like these, but again, it's all an act.
More of Kate's stellar logic and parenting skills were displayed on Twitter last night. While it was storming and her kids were scared she was tweeting. She's an IDIOT!

My kids all had field and track events at the end of school, including Kindergarten (mine were all 5 at the end of K, not 7) and sure, not alot of us parents loved standing in the heat and bugs all day cheering on our kids, but do you SAY THAT OUT LOUD?!? NEVER! It was their big event!
How do you not express as much or more enthusiasm than the children, in order to show how important all their interests are to you? Because that is crucial to how children realize THEY are important to you!
(Just yesterday I tried to post how nice it was that Kart had not humiliated her children in public lately - but she can't help herself for long. She doesnt actually LIKE them much, does she?)
How many of us would go back in time and trade those events away? NONE of us! My kids now are Kart's age and nearly so, degreed professionals (one with a PhD). They still talk about their school events at times and say "Remember that, Mom?" To this day, I remain enthusiastic and would never ever say that it was a dull event for me to endure. Good grief.

The one thing that I am learning about Khate from her own words is that she is what we would call a braggart. I just really never picked up on that. I always thought that she took all those things for granted as being part of her entitlement for a seemingly dismal childhood (by her account). She is really enamored with her pool and her leather sofa. Remember when they first got the big house they hid the pool for quite some time. Probably not. I don't expect Kate to like it, or her sheeple. But I do expect them to at the very least act like they do. And I'm very sorry Kate can't like things because her KIDS are liking them. If there's nothing like that to stimulate her she's bored.
Kids NEED parents to act like they like and enjoy doing things with them. Millions of parents over the years have faked it out of love for the kids. I'm sorry Kate can't love these kids enough to fake it.
Maybe next time Kate could offer to trade places with a parent who wishes they could be there and work their graveyard shift for them so they don't have to sleep through the fieldtrip and can go.
I had another thought about this. Kate was so hellbent on taking the kids on a trip of a lifetime to Australia. The kids more or less seemed to enjoy it which was a relief given the whole backstory to that trip of Jon going to court and so on.
But what if the kids had said to her after that trip, Mommy that whole thing was so dull. I wish we hadn't gone. Spending time with you is dull. How would Kate feel???

Of course the field trip was dull, no cameras and not being about Kate, as some have said here. But also remember Jon use to do all the school stuff. Kate according to what I read at several blogs, from people whose kids went to the same school, Kate never up until now, never attended any school events. So of course it was dull and terrible cause Kate probably wore her hooker heels, that is why she mentioned the poison ivy field. My Mother who is no longer with us, when I was in HS in the 70s, went on a field trip with me to the museum. She had to deal with HS kids, they all liked my mom, and she had a ball. I was so proud to have my mom there. The other kids said they wish they had my mom for their mother. These are the times you enjoy your kids, cause it only happens once, then it's gone. I would have expected Kate to say we had a wonderful time, the kids had a great time, it was sunny and a bit windy and I brought some treats with for the class. (like cupcakes etc) but NO little Katie had to indirectly complain about it. Why God gave her and people like her kids is beyond me. And yes, it seems most of her Tweeters are under 22. But then Kate mentality is of that age. Go figure! As, for the up coming shows, they are re-runs, why would anyone watch re-runs. TLC is tryin to pass them as new shows. I knew we were under a tornado watch, and some parts of her county were under a warning. All you had to do was to turn on the Weather Channel. Local stations, too, interrupted their programming to give minute by minute details of where the storm was and where it was going. This was solid broadcasting for more than an hour. Doesn't she have a television or a computer? She had to ask a tweetie if she was under a warning.
Can't she do ANYTHING on her own? I thought this was CAN DO Kate. I guess that doesn't include pushing a button to change channels! I'd like to see her navigate an airport on her own, or make her own travel plans. Or is this an act - dramatizing the plight of a poor, helpless, single mother of eight?

Ingrid, it DID say "not so good news," several people even responded to it. And "so good news" doesn't even make sense there.
E-Town: I have a sneaking suspicion Steve is gone, I really do. I think TLC has let her know they are going to quietly let the show go, Steve is off the payroll (smart guy made that paper while the gettin' was good, but I wouldn't be surprised if we heard somewhere down the line that he had to go on Zoloft and sleeping pills while he was her babysitter). And she's laying very, very low. Of course, that's easy to do when even INF Daily isn't interested in paying freelancers like Chris for her irrelevant photos.
I'll be interested to see if the shows June 6th are new or not, but NOT by watching, I'll wait to hear. The TLC mobile viewing guide (you can access it on your phone) was calling episodes 6 & 7 "new" but on the full site, they aren't new. Also, they are just 30 minutes each. Thought the new ones were an hour? And why does every other show have an episode title and description, but her is the only one that doesn't? Looks like TLC isn't much bothering anymore.
If they are new, TLC is dumping the new footage. If they're reruns, well, that's bad for her, too, especially after moving her back from May (sweeps week) into June, when most shows have had their season finales or are getting close to it.
I bet the parents, teacher and administrators loved that she called her school's field trip dull and said it involved walking through poison ivy. Does she not realize anyone can read her feed? She obviously doesn't care.

LindaG- Kate has tweeted again and again that the show is NOT canceled, although she did express some negativity that it's still in the 10pm slot vs. the 9pm slot. The time slot really stinks and I wonder why a show about kids is not shown when kids are up. I can't imagine, however, that TLC will trash the previously taped show and not air them. It doesn't make sense to have spent all that money and not air them, even though the numbers are relatively poor compared to J&K+8. Still, it's relatively cheap to produce (well, except the lavish vacations) and has a decent audience.
Some of my favorite shows are on SHOWtime and their numbers are far lower and they are way, way pricier to tape.
Some of my best memories of my childhood are of my mother coming along on my fieldtrips. And I wanted so badly to do that with my daughter when she was little- I think I may have gone on 1, but I had to work (other parent refused to support- so I couldnt take time off) anyway, I attended sport events after school and I took her myself on our field trips :) These are memories you can't ever get make up, forget, re-do, get a take-over- it's a one shot one deal to make your child or children feel like they are the center of your world and that their activity is important enough to warrant your attention. Even now my daughter is grown and in her first year of college and I am in military but on shore duty, I am still making time to do things with her- to show her she is important to me (especially because I missed so much of her childhood being away at sea.) So Kate says this weekend nothing "overly fun" planned? Well, I have a 4 day weekend- a rare treat- and I plan on a bar-b-que, a movie night, homework help for my daughter, couponing with my daughter (well, I will try, she may say no LOL) and just in general lounging around with our sweet pup. Much, OVERLY fun because we will be spending time together.
Ingrid, I looked and on twitter it shows up as "decisions¬ so good". Although on twazzup it shows up as NOT so good news (and on the yfrog feed it doesn't show up at all!). Not sure what is up with that, since I don't really tweet so much...
I think TLC has let her know they are going to quietly let the show go

That would explain why the TLC plant, who is usually on the KatePlusEight board on IMDB is now on the Quints by Surprise board. Her only function is viciously attack anyone who dares to dis Kate.
Linda: It is showing up without no and that symbol on twitter to me but on that Highlight on twazzup it has Not in it. I am just glad I am not seeing things. LOL Wonder if the not so good news was the appeal thing or her future at TLC. (hoping bad news for both . LOL)

Question - just out of curiosity. I sometimes glance through the tweets between her fans and not-fans. It seems that there are two regulars on there. One of them is there constantly, almost 24/7. With the exception of three hours during the night (CA time), that person has been tweeting for 24 hours. Don't those people sleep, eat, work, go to the bathroom? Has tweeting become a regular "job?" For what purpose?

The response: "The whole TLC left Kate + 8 off the schedule so it must be over is an old one which surfaced in earlier seasons (TLC seasons seem far shorter than the broadcast networks). We call them brain farts around these parts and we laugh them or tease them off. Of course it has happened here, both myself and others. But only occasionally! Kate? I was unable to have children due to many ovarians cysts and scar tissue resulting from numerous operations. When I read that Kate said the class trip was dull it brought tears to my eyes and felt a ache in my heart. Oh how I wish I had had the opportunity to experience a child's class trip. I have never seen such an ungrateful person in my entire life. I feel more and more sorry for Jon everytime I read what this woman says or does. Such a sad individual.

Yes, all the tups have been attending school together for a couple months now. There was a pic taken of all of them in uniforms together.

Viewers knew, from watching the shows, that she's really not that quick on the trigger, but I don't believe that they knew to what extent how clueless she is. Her tweets have done nothing but reaffirm her lack of graciousness, her narcissism, and yes, her stupidity. Tweeting is the worst thing she could have done. Lol...This is getting amusing now. TLC is messing with everything related to the show: time slot, show's episode length, and now episode numbers. A new episode is supposed to air in less than two weeks and TLC is still tweaking the show. (Just a few days ago it was episodes 6/7, both half-hour.)
A change in episode numbers makes me think they're still debating what content to air. Skip episodes 6-8 (Kate's birthday, Easter, Giving Back) and air the sextuplets' 7th birthday. (Then, go back to those skipped episodes if ratings improve.) It makes a little more sense why they're doing more interviews for the show this weekend; the kids probably haven't done their couch talk yet.
This reminds me of the Hayes family, where another season was supposed to air in spring then pushed back to the summer. Instead of a full season, there were two specials then nothing. Months later it was confirmed by Eric Hayes on Facebook that the show was cancelled.

The white polo shirt (or maroon shirt) may or may not include the insignia. It it NOT required on school uniforms. The shirts with the insignia are purchased at the school store, but kids may also wear the much less expensive white polo shirts bought at KMart or WalMart.

I remember when all of that was going on. I offered my opinion that it most definitely was not her mother. I've known her for some time, and while I hadn't seen her recently, I called imposter right away. It didn't sound like her, and although people do change, I would have bet the farm that it wasn't her.
Anya at IW is the one with all the proof proving MomofKT is Mother of Katie. Her MomofKT is not the twitterer MomofKT because her MomofKT told her she did not tweet. Kate said the twitterer MomofKT is not her mother, but was not asked about the blogging MomofKT, so to the best of my knowledge has not commented one way or the other about that mother. Twittering MomofKT has admitted her children, although named Kate and Kevin, are not the very same Kate and Kevin that blogging MomofKT so loves to discuss.
(I don't know at what point we all fell down the rabbit hole but geese guys this is getting bizarro.)
Admin, what does to "Catfish" someone mean?
Is she?, Catfish refers to a documentary from last year called Catfish about a young photographer in New York and a 7-year-old artist who sent him a painting of a photo her took--he ended up corresponding with her whole family including her mom Angela, and fell in love with the little girl's adult sister.
This went on a very long time, he was even talking to them on the phone nightly. He suddenly realized something was wrong when he figured out that a "song" that the daughter wrote and sent to him via mp3 was actually pulled right off a youtube video from someone else. When he finally drove out to Michigan to meet the family, he discovered the mother, who was nothing like her attractive picture, was using photos of models to represent photos of her family, had pretty much made the entire thing up. She was the one who painted the pictures and her 7 year old was just a normal kid and knew very little of the whole scam. She had two special needs kids as well and was pretty much devoting her life to caring for them.
It's worth watching. The whole thing has kind of a very sad and pathetic undertone. The star of the movie, the mom, lived to correspond with this guy. She wasn't duping him to laugh at how he was falling for this, she was in love with him and duping him because she wanted his attention and devotion. Although there is speculation actually the documentary itself is fake.
Anyway, a catfish is someone online that is misrepresenting them selves as someone else.
Thank you, Admin., for telling me what Catfish meant--I had no idea and was pretty sure I would expose my "uncoolness" by asking but curiosity got the better of me! Does sound like an interesting movie.

Oh, I think she would. She loves to dress them alike, and in Kate-Think this would be just having them put their own clothes on. It wouldn't be HER fault if people then believed the kids were all back in school.
She lies every other way, why not this one? It's exactly the same thing as keeping her children in high chairs waaaay beyond the toddler years so that they will seem younger.
She dressed HERSELF up in a wedding dress when she knew her marriage was over, and staged a lie of a wedding ceremony.
This woman is the Master of Fake. A couple pairs of khakis and two tee-shirts are only the tiniest blip on her history of lies.

Please realize that their school uniforms have several options of colors and styles (pants or skirts for girls, etc.) However, the girls are ALL wearing the same thing, and ALL the boys are wearing the same thing. That screams to me that this was no ordinary day in school for them, it was a day when they would be photographed after school. So, if any were still being homeschooled, they
better put on the same school clothes that everyone else was wearing.
Going for ice cream would be a wonderful photo opportunity for Kate to come across as a doting, carefree mother in Chris' pictures. But in order to keep the brand, Kate must have SEXTUPLETS, not Joel, Leah, Hannah, Collin, Aaden and Alexis. She will only be spotted clearly if she's got them looking like a set. Otherwise, she's just some woman who's got a bunch of kids with her - possibly nephews, nieces and/or neighbors included in the mix - and not THE Gosselins!
Also, some of the reasons to have uniforms in the first place is to remind kids that they are all equal, and also to remind them they are in school where studying, paying attention, doing as the teacher asks, etc. are expected. If a parent or teacher wanted a homeschooled child to get the clear idea that they are sitting around the kitchen SCHOOL TABLE they might have them show up wearing their SCHOOL clothes, not sweatshirts and jeans.
To minimize the feeling that they are somehow inferior to their enrolled siblings, wearing the uniform may help them believe they are not.

use books, too!"
So, it could go either way for me. They may be homeschooled and their clothes are their uniforms for a legitimate reason. Or, Kate's faking it for a photo op. Who knows?

LOL, wayward. I forgot about that one. She cleans houses in New Hampshire, but works across from the Art Museum in Philly and lives down the peaceful road from the Gosselins. In addition, she works as a stand-in for Kate, at an airport, as a hairstylist, as a court reporter, as a military nurse and as a flight attendant.

It surprises me that Kate even WENT on this field trip. You mean to tell me she took time out of her precious schedule of twittering, tanning & picking her butt to actually do something with the kids that she didn't get paid for?? Of course the field trip was dull, no cameras and not being about Kate, as some have said here. But also remember Jon use to do all the school stuff. Kate according to what I read at several blogs, from people whose kids went to the same school, Kate never up until now, never attended any school events. So of course it was dull and terrible cause Kate probably wore her hooker heels, that is why she mentioned the poison ivy field. My Mother who is no longer with us, when I was in HS in the 70s, went on a field trip with me to the museum. She had to deal with HS kids, they all liked my mom, and she had a ball. I was so proud to have my mom there. The other kids said they wish they had my mom for their mother. These are the times you enjoy your kids, cause it only happens once, then it's gone. I would have expected Kate to say we had a wonderful time, the kids had a great time, it was sunny and a bit windy and I brought some treats with for the class. (like cupcakes etc) but NO little Katie had to indirectly complain about it. Why God gave her and people like her kids is beyond me. And yes, it seems most of her Tweeters are under 22. But then Kate mentality is of that age. Go figure! As, for the up coming shows, they are re-runs, why would anyone watch re-runs. TLC is tryin to pass them as new shows. BORING! not that I am gonna watch them anyway!
Is there any proof that she actually went on the field trip? Just because Kate says so is meaningless.

I do not find it brave to talk about how dull it is to do stuff with your kids and I never bought into that movement. I find it ungrateful, mean, nasty, spoiled, and damaging to them.
Like I said, I do not expect every parent to always love every single activity their kid will ever do. Does a nature walk with poison ivy sound like something I would do on my own accord? Probably not. I don't expect Kate to like it, or her sheeple. But I do expect them to at the very least act like they do. And I'm very sorry Kate can't like things because her KIDS are liking them. She expects constant stimulation to entertain her and can't take joy in simple things. I have this mental picture of Kate with a goofy smile staring at a jack-in-the-box to entertain her. If there's nothing like that to stimulate her she's bored.
Kids NEED parents to act like they like and enjoy doing things with them. Millions of parents over the years have faked it out of love for the kids. I'm sorry Kate can't love these kids enough to fake it.
Maybe next time Kate could offer to trade places with a parent who wishes they could be there and work their graveyard shift for them so they don't have to sleep through the fieldtrip and can go.

I had another thought about this. Kate was so hellbent on taking the kids on a trip of a lifetime to Australia. The kids more or less seemed to enjoy it which was a relief given the whole backstory to that trip of Jon going to court and so on.
But what if the kids had said to her after that trip, Mommy that whole thing was so dull. I wish we hadn't gone. Spending time with you is dull. How would Kate feel???

Yes, duh. When a tweeter, or anyone, asks a Mommy how the field trip was, anybody else but Kate would interpret that to mean how did the KIDS enjoy the field trip? But naturally Kate the great narcissist skips right to herself! Oh how did I myself enjoy it? I found it dull.

That's the thing, she has no filter! Normal socially well-adjusted adults don't say everything that is on their minds.
I'm not expecting every parent to always enjoy every last thing they ever do with their kids. But I do expect that parent not to bitch and moan to 10,000 twitter fans what a darn drag it was to be with your kids all day.
So it wasn't the most exciting field trip you've ever been on with the kids. Why can't she instead just enjoy watching the KIDS enjoy themselves? Why is she so incapable of taking pleasure out of watching the kids experience things?
Even as adults you sometimes go along with what other adults enjoy with a smile on your face. My parents love a certain restaurant that I absolutely hate. But it's not going to kill me to go with them once in awhile when they want to go. I go happily and take pleasure in watching them love a place they love and I usually manage to find something on the menu I like. I don't sit there and bitch and moan and spit my food out. Because this is what you DO when it's people you love.
Good grief she is SUCH a narcissist. She really cannot help herself.

Just as I've been saying for some time - she can't think before she speaks, or before she tweets. This is why she could never be a talk show host. Even if she hated the trip, she should have said something like "the kids had fun," or "the organizers did a super job planning this trip." Nope. As always, it's all about HER. For HER the trip was dull.
