It's on their FB page for the radio station. I'm not sure how to link to the actual post, you have to wade through a ton of comments to find the comment from the radio station back peddling saying maybe they shouldn't do this. That particular comment had a ton of likes.

I can just imagine the mark ups on the junk at this garage sale. She must think she is in the same league as Madonna, Princess Diana, and more people who have donated items and100% going to charity. She is more like the Kartrasians selling on Ebay and 10% going to the charity that Kris has. I think the locals are really getting sick of her by now. I feel bad for the kids at school. Some of their classmates must mention stuff either to them or behind their backs. This is a very sad situation.

Someone should tell her or msgoody that they can create Jon and control him to their hearts content.

No anonymous, garage sales are not a good way to make money, despite the fact that lots of people do them. (Although around here, I probably see a garage sale about once a year. It's not done much anymore in my neighborhood, probably because they are a complete waste of time.) It is very unlikely you are going to make anything but pocket change with a garage sale, and it's a heck of a lot of work to get there.

It is as simple as pie to place your items on amazon where people who actually want that specific item go, and make a ton more money than hoping somebody walks by your house and wants that particular item. It's also very simple to take your things to consignment and get a check right there and then.

If you search around the internet, you will find that in this day in age most people are agreeing that garage sales are a waste of time, an absolute bust whenever they tried it, and a thing of the past. That's not how most people buy things anymore, they have quickly become a relic. There are of course exceptions to every rule. In some neighborhoods they may be a wild success and worth the effort (group sales, in particular, where several families join together.) That simply is not the case in many neighborhoods.

Kate is not a struggling family just looking to make cash however they can. She is a millionaire who could unload herself at her pleasure. This is all contrived for show fodder and you, TLC, and everybody else darn well knows it. We have SEEN her bring stuff to consignment, it's all captured by the paps. That is her normal way of unloading her unwanted things. The only two garage sales that have ever happened here have been for the cameras. BOTH of them. If garage sales are just such a wonderful thing for her, why hasn't she held any others in all this time? My point was this is contrived, and that she should and DOES know better how to unload her items in a half dozen other much better ways. It's also insulting and patronizing. There is hardly an interesting episode out of Kate sitting on Amazon and spending 45 minutes listing all her items then getting a great sale two weeks later.

This is what's so strange about this yard sale. The majority of her fans (there's another oxymoron for you Flimsy) don't live in her neighborhood. They don't live anywhere near her. What's the purpose of holding this sale where she's already screwed over half the people in it?

In a few years from now,the tups are not going to fit in those little bedrooms Kate has upstairs. Depending on the layout of the three bedrooms upstairs, I would consider knocking down a wall and making two little bedrooms one larger one. And I think the tup girls should move into the new larger upstairs bedroom and have the twins move into the smaller bedroom next to it. And the tup boys should move into the twins room for more space.

The way it is now the six of them get cramped into two smaller bedrooms and the twins get the largest bedroom. And there is also the vacate bedroom.

For now it is O.K. but when the tups are pre-teens and teenagers it will not work out for them.

Or better yet, convert some of that basement to a large bedroom. It already has a finished bath.

When I saw how tiny the tups bedroom was in Wife Swap I was really surprised.

No, no, no! Gladys has been very adamant that everyone who lives in her community absolutely loves her with the same passion that she has for Kate. Okay, maybe not in the same lusting way, but they do adore her. Or so she says.

Perhaps someone should send her the link to the comments on the radio station's FB page.

It's just haphazard and probably not really thought out by anyone, Kate or the producers. If they actually thought this out, somebody would have caught the "portion" thing and suggested they should scratch that. On what planet would anyone think that's a good thing to say?

It's incredibly obvious that the locals are done with her. If anyone comes, they will come to heckle or they will come because they honestly don't know who she is. Their best bet is to hope a bunch of fans show up. But if they want fans to come, they're going to have to give at least a month's notice if not more. Like others have said people make plans. Even a fan a few hours away probably can't swing it without more notice.

Dollars to donuts they had no idea they were going to even do this a month ago. It's low budget, fly by the seat of your pants. Sooner or later it will catch up and it just may this weekend.

Anyone think TLC is going to show how much TFW is hated? First, they would show the incident at Skyzone where she gets yelled at to go away and then the garage sale with a dismal turnout/getting heckled by locals. Just a thought.

FYI said...

Remember when back in July Kate tweeted a picture of the bar stools that she and Jamie recovered?

I wonder if this was the beginning of this makeover/remodel and they were even filming during the summer. Or perhaps, they were "touching up" things to sell at the yard sale, because she knew they would be getting new stuff.

So many things that make you go "hmm" in retrospect.

What I suspect also really hurt our local garage sales was also our swap meets. We have wonderful ones. There's one at the Rose Bowl, at Pasadena City College, and the lions do swap meets every couple months. Churches do them, and there's a bunch of others I've never been to. There's probably a swap meet every weekend. You can find anything you could ever possibly want and more at a swap meet. There's no desire to comb the ads and drive around town to the few garage sales left. I've gotten so many cool things at them. I love the "beach" sign I have with the arrow, and the wooden bin I use for toys that looks antiquey. I could drive around for years and never find those.

When I was growing up, we had nothing like that and on any given weekend in the summer the neighborhood would be dotted with garage sales and we'd always stop. I got my first TV for college at a garage sale. It's just no the case anymore. It's interesting to see how the changing times really trickle down to affect so many things, including garage sales.

In my opinion the biggest disadvantage with garage sales is that you are going to the people, the people are not coming to you. If I'm selling a certain video game, it may only be worth 2 bucks to someone who walks by who is only mildly interested in it. But if I throw it on amazon all of a sudden I'm putting it out there to people who actually want it, and they'll pay closer to 20 because it's just what they wanted. It's a no brainer to forget the garage sale.

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said...

I can't say for sure what TLC is thinking but I do get the sense they are in the "throw everything out there and see what sticks" mode.

LOL, the Rose Bowl swap meet has been around since the 60's. It hardly killed garage sales.

***
Lol? The Rose Bowl Swap meet was not nearly as big as it is now when it started. It's massive now and grows bigger by the year. I found an article from the 80's saying they had 1500 vendors. Today, they have over 2500. Clearing it's been growing by leaps and bounds over the years.

And in the 60's there were no these sort of sales on every single corner on every single weekend. So yes I do believe the trend to do group swap meets has hurt sales. You are free to disagree but laughing at me is immature.

Rainbirdie said...

I usually have one yard sale during the summer. I enjoy the chitchatting with my neighbors & friends that come to participate. Certainly won't get rich with a yard sale - the goal is usually to declutter the garage & make enough money to buy lunch at my favorite deli. FYI - I find Friday mornings to be the best time to hold one - most Friday 'shoppers' are moms that have kids/husbands to entertain on Saturday & so they enjoy the opportunity to browse uninterrupted on the way home from dropping kids at school. When I do a Friday sale, I usually sell all I've put out by11am.

I bet a lot of people will show up if they are filming. They will simply want to be on camera. So I would not be surprised if there is a moderate to large turnout. Also some will show up just to see what see looks like up close, what the kids look like in person, and how she handles herself.

Pleassssse. After all the years we've been following Kate's antics, does anyone believe she has ANY interest in a garage sale, chit chatting with locals and donating money to a charity? Oh no! She was strong armed by TLC because they have been creating a STORYLINE for months now. Every bit of what is being filmed and what has been filmed was story boarded and Kate made darn sure she got something out of it in addition to her salary from TLC. I am totally disgusted that after the way she treats animals she is attempting to pass herself off as an animal lover by donating an unknown percentage of the proceeds to an animal charity. What a lie. Instead of attending the fake garage sale, locals should donate DIRECTLY to the charity.

ITA Virginia Pen Mom. Kate wrote that description. Typical. Makes it sound like she has so much "stuff" and she is passing on her junk to the less fortunate (mediocre locals). Judging from what she is selling, it will be crystal clear what TLC gave her. BTW, the tweet a while back about cleaning out drawers and fixing the dresser was part of this garage sale. She is probably unloading all the twin's bedroom furniture because TLC remodeled their bedroom and she got free new furniture for the twin's birthday. What gets me is that when filming or for publicity, she does something over the top and those kids have come to expect a big deal. When they don't film, things are pretty quiet. I believe she makes sure those kids are aware they get this stuff because they film (bribery).

Camera Crew, & Kate Friday Morning at Y102.

Ratings for Kate plus 8 were good enough for TLC to bring it back in December! Y102 will be a part of one of the upcoming shows.

Kate Gosselin was in the Y102 studio 2 years ago to help out with The "Yes I Can 5k" to benefit Special Olympics of Berks County. Despite what you hear...or think, Kate is very real. On and Off the air.

Kate contacted us in hopes of getting the word out to the berks and surrounding communities to visit at her Yard Sale with a portion of the proceeds being donated to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County.

On Saturday the family who came to fame on television's "Jon & Kate Plus 8" will sell their outcast goodies at the Gosselin Family Yard Sale from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. John's United Church of Christ, 591 N. Church Rd., Wernersville.
Dont hate Kate plus 8.

I'm actually surprised People has had a story about it.

Sheesh, it's not even with over the top luxuries, she's left him HOMELESS and FINANCIALLY ruined. I assume this means the PR attempt to paint TFW as a poor, struggling single mother who's been "piecing and patching" anything and everything in the name of survival has fizzled out.

Saying that her home's been remodeled doesn't exactly help support any claims to poverty. TFW could always try to claim the remodel as a charitable freebie done out of the goodness of people's hearts, but houses like hers don't get those kinds of freebie remodels. How can one remodel something that hasn't seen better days? TFW's ego won't let the house look run-down or fall into a state of disrepair. She may love the pity parties, but she probably hates looking second-class even worse.

It still is a rather big thing here, although not quite as popular as a few years ago. Then again, we are always a bit behind the times. It also depends on what you are selling. ******
Yard sales are popular by me, too. It's very common to see them, especially this time of year.
As I said, we had a multi-home garage sale last week and it was a huge hit.
DH and I had gently used, high end furniture and some "stuff". I advertised in the area's large paper, and my neighbors put an ad on Craigslist and made amazing signage to post around the area.
Neighbor had a basement full of "stuff" that she had to get rid of before moving next month.
She is a yard sale/"Chinese auction" nut! She had so much "stuff" that she gathered over the years, and she knows what sells, how to "stage" it and what to ask for it.
Initially, most of the crowds were across the street at her house, but I then made a few quick runs into my basement and garage and pulled out some of the smaller "stuff" to offer for sale, and it drew people over to my side of the street!

Mostly, people want "stuff". Cheap "stuff". They want a bargain, even if most of the time, they really don't need it.
That's what draws people in.

The higher end items will generally go very early if dealers show up with trucks to haul it away. Advertising that sort of thing as an estate sale will draw more dealers, but it also has other layers of complications that I didn't want to deal with.
If we sold, yay. If not, great morning to hang with our lovely neighbors!

Of our furniture, we sold our Crate + Barrel dining set- a really nice set that they still sell, although in a different finish. I was very happy to have sold it for a great deal, to people who fell in love with it.

Win/win.

The leftover pieces that didn't sell, I will give a go at selling on Ebay/Craigslist/Amazon.
If they don't sell, then we'll donate them.

Anything small stuff (clothes, dinnerware, cooking, decorations), we always donate.

The only reason we did this yard sale was because we had strength in numbers.

Oh, how popular are yard sales here? We had people cruising our neighborhood the day before! Had to Shoo! them away!

If it's another 10 years before we do another one, that's just fine with me!

My goal at this point is to not hoard shit we don't need. To really think about what we add to our house, and regularly go through our belongings to see what we can donate.

I used to consign good clothing- business and high end leisure- went I was single and struggling after my divorce.
Now, I'm fortunate to not *need* the money, and can write it off, even if it's pennies.
I'd rather someone else benefit.

At no time, EVER, did I sell something I got for free/as a gift.

The story about the yard sale is appearing on several very minor media sites, like Examiner, and they are all saying that Kate is doing the yard sale because she needs the money to support her kids. Some of them even published her quote about how she and her kids would just go away if they had enough money, painting the picture of poor, poor Kate.

I just wish one of them would write about her tweet yesterday about how "ALL MUST GO" because of the makeover/remodel. I even have a headline for them:

"Kate Gosselin: All must go--On with the show"

Where's Sue Buddy? We need another article from her.

You can't try to project sentimental value, or even "real" value at a yard sale.
You price it to move, and be happy that someone takes your "stuff" away!
If you're selling on Ebay, sure, you can price your items according to their value because people will bid. But at yard sales, just be happy that you've got some coin in your pocket.

I sold a 14" All Clad non-stick pan last week. I priced it at $10, but saw that people weren't interested, so I said "$5", and sold!

I think yard/estate sales are popular around here too. The neighborhood up the hill has an HOA that allows yard sale only one weekend per year. And you would think it's spectacular Christmas lights or uber-Halloween for all the traffic. We don't have sidewalks, and I went for a run on the Saturday of the sale and was dodging traffic the whole way. When I got back, hubby wanted to walk the dogs and I said it wasn't a good idea, but he wouldn't listen. We each ended up carrying a dog to expedite the traffic dodging. Grrrrrr.
Wouldn't it be something if some locals went and then saw stuff they donated to her, for sale? Haha!

It would seem much more natural to say "Animal Rescue League of Berks County", as the radio station did. Thanks Kate is a Twit for that quote (post # 40).

Perhaps the difference is that the radio station is addressing locals / potential shoppers, and K is addressing People magazine readers?

If your intent is to make money garage sales are usually a terrible way to do it, unless perhaps you do a joint garage sale with several other houses.

You are better off throwing things on Amazon and biding your time. You are also better off donating them and taking the write off. There is a DV shelter here that takes just about anything and everything, from clothes to kitchen stuff to furniture to toys. You can unload all your stuff there and write off the value. It is highly unlikely you would ever get anything close to the real value by trying to sell it to neighbors. You make out better by taking the write off.
*****
I agree that garage sales are a tough way to make any real money. Most people browsing at garage sales want to pay practically nothing. I've had some really nice boy's jeans that I was asking $2/pair for - and people still turned up their nose and wanted to offer me 50 cents a pair.

I did a garage sale with a friend once, and her husband overhead someone offering a ridiculously low price on some garden equipment. Being the cranky guy he is, he walked over and said "I'd rather throw it away than sell it to you for that price."

Kate would never do this type of rummage sale except on TLC's dime and with the combined work force of her kids plus TLC staff. Anything to get her ugly mug on television. And even with it being filmed, she wants to keep most of the proceeds! She's getting paid to film, she's having others do all the work, and that still isn't enough for her - she wants the few bucks that will be generated by selling her used clothing and some furniture. Pathetic. I hope no one shows up.

I do think however that as a caring person, it would be nice to think about whether what your saying is going to pick at old scabs and bring something terrible up all over again to a family who has moved on. I don't like the Clintons, but I do have to give them credit for making a big effort to try to move on from this and stay united as a couple, and he either isn't having affairs anymore or if he is he's being much more discreet. Fair enough. They have moved on from it and they don't keep bringing it up, and now they have a new grandchild to dote over and other things on the horizon. Life is good, and it is kind of obnoxious, and frankly, rude, to have that other woman who keeps sticking her mug out there making comments and reminding everyone of it. For Chelsea actually especially. None of this was HER fault and I imagine she wants to look forward not backward right now. Monica is a nuisance in 2014.
*******
I haven't been paying attention to whatever Monica Lewinsky is saying, especially if it has to do with her shenanigans waaaaaaaaaay back in 1998. That's 16 years ago and one would hope all parties involved would have moved on by now.

The Clintons have obviously worked it out in their marriage. Their marriage is none of my business, but from what they show publicly, they appear to be happy with however they've agreed to arrange their marriage. Neither one appears to want to get divorced. They love their daughter and their new grandbaby. I'd say life is pretty good for them overall.

I would wish for Lewinsky that she could move on with her life as well, instead of feeling the need to bring up old trash and re=hash it. I have no idea if she's married (if so, wouldn't this be unpleasant for her husband to hear about again?), has children (same question), or what sort of professional career she has. I think she should focus on the present and try to enjoy her life to the fullest, rather than dredging up her past poor choices.

Tucker's Mom (#73), when you mentioned "sentimental value"

that Mom was going to sell a Christmas ornament she'd gotten
from Grandpa, but TFW said something like, it just made a
mess, and had "dustilies" (a former poster's name!) coming
off of it. Never mind that Grandpa had passed, and that the
ornament had special meaning to the child.

But who wants to wager there'll be tears Saturday, when someone

According to Jon, some of it isn't true, and he has already filed something with the courts. As always, my heart goes out to his kids, who really came up short in the parent department. Whether the story is true or not, or partially true, it paints a picture of a pretty unstable person, who does not seem to be able to support himself, let alone 8 children. I know some here will dispute the story, but, unlilke most stories, the source is named and on the record.

I would rather a parent hit "rock bottom" than exploit their children. The article also has inherently unreliable sources like the one saying he traded his rights to not pay child support (you can't do that or all dead beats would do that to get out of support, think about it) and that there is not enough room for his kids to stay at his house. I work in family law and we allow gaggles of kids to stay in very tiny houses all. the. Time. It is illegal to discriminate against a parent based on housing and I trust the courts are well aware of that. I don't even have to discuss my client's housing size because it simply isn't an issue. I don't think the fact that a parent is struggling financially like hundreds of thousands of parents in and of itself makes them a bad parent.

When Kate had the last rummage sale, didn't she have a lot of stuff left over, that did not sell and didn't she get testy about what was left over? Was there a lot of people last time?

So, TLC paid for a remodel & makeover, Kate instead of donating the used crap, she is going to sell it, under the phrase: I need the money to buy the kids things and things for the house, so I am keeping the majority of the money and donating a portion to help animals. This does not take away from the fact that I think TFW is a shameless reality person who thinks she should film the kids who have put in endless hours of filming to support HER and other opportunities. But with these two at the helm, these kids will not fare well at all. And not because of money, but the fact that they both seem to put themselves first in so many instances.

Of course she will, she is KATE GOSSELIN!!!! She is getting paid for this episode and home remodeling, and will be selling many items she received as "gifts." She thinks these items she has in her possession rate a big price, as she is Kate Gosselin!!! Did you know that she has 8 kids?

Someone's arrest history for something as serious as domestic violence goes to their credibility. Especially when the other side is saying that's not what happened. Funny I find myself saying "enough already " to these sort of private stories that are completely irrelevant and none of anyone's business. HE'S not exploiting the kids and doesn't deserve such scrutiny.

I'm glad he's not using his kids, but I can't help wishing that we'd hear a really positive update that he's stable and seeing all the kids regularly.

Yes, exactly what I thought Admin. The Reading Eagle story isn't relevant to what's happening with Jon right now, I just thought it was worth noting this couple has a less than stellar reputation in the area. I like to consider the source when I read these tabloids.

redbirdsings said...

Sorry Auntie Ann that you were blasted by remembering something about somebody. Some people have photographic memory or brilliant at remembering things.

If the kitten was Liz's, she should of taken responsibility for it and found it a good home or took it to as kate refers to as Local Animal Rescue before she moved. Maybe possible that she left it on purpose to tick off Jon.

Ironic that TFW is lovingly giving to Local Animal Rescue, a "small portion" and Jon is evicted and leaves a kitten to survive on it's own.

For Pete's sake those kids are going to be horrible teased about him being homeless, no room for them at the inn, and now their daddy abandoned a kitten. Lord, help them!

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said...

Of course no one should leave a kitten behind but you're assuming it's true. Jon said their story is not all true. Maybe it was a wild stray or maybe he thought Liz was coming back, who knows and it's not our business what the plan was. He rarely responds to all the wild accusations kate and her sheeple make but this time he spoke up and said no that's not true, which suggests this has gone too far for him. I have no idea what parts he is disputing. He didn't say and it's not his obligation to tell you. That's for the courts to sort out. You may be getting upset for nothing. I also don't think a six week stint on a small cable reality show you filmed over a year ago means your finances and rental history are public fodder forever. Absolutely not. It has NOTHING to do with anything and is none of your business. Unless he is using his children's money to fund his rent, it's none of your concern. The public doesn't demand Brad and Angelina disclose their rental history. It's not our business. His landlord chose to stay with a very malidorous character. I also assume they are the same page about this dispute. That alone goes directly to her credibility. Of course it does.

CBC has an update; the soldier has died.

CBC also has an article with tweets from members of parliament saying that they are safe, and in some cases giving their location. Commenters are pointing out that it would be safer and more sensible to text that to their friends and family instead of putting it out in public. Some also tweeted pictures of police cars outside parliament. Are they nuts?

I agree with Ex Nurse - those kids got shortchanged in the parent department. A lot of Jon's problems are his own doing. He couldn't have foreseen how his very public missteps would follow him, but if he hadn't been flying to France or Vegas or whatever for appearances, appearing stoned with his girlfriend at the time, staging a burglary (according to NYPD), planning a clothing line worn by the kids, etc., there would be nothing to follow him. He is probably a very nice guy. But it's been five years - he needs to figure it out and get it together already!

I think both Kate and Jon need to get real jobs. We all know what Kate's problem is and I really think that Jon's problem is that he had a taste of the good life and wants it back. Jon was spoiled growing up and he's still spoiled now. He, like Kate, wants things handed to him because he was a star. He seems to be a good dad and seems to love his kids, however he lacks direction and at his age he needs to get it together. The kids really drew the short end of the stick with both parents.

Midnight Madness said...

So, TLC paid for a remodel & makeover, Kate instead of donating the used crap, she is going to sell it, under the phrase: I need the money to buy the kids things and things for the house, so I am keeping the majority of the money and donating a portion to help animals

I think before we jump to any conclusions about a whole-house makeover, remodel, TLC paying for everything, dumping all of their furniture with Kate keeping most of the profits, TLC giving Kate money to make it look like a successful sale, we wait and see exactly what goes down.

"What does his arrest history have to do with Jon not paying his rent, trashing the home and leaving behind a kitten?"

********************

Character, truthfulness, and the chance to sell a story to the tabloids. I think that's enough. A leopard doesn't change his spots, no matter how much time has elapsed.

Admin, I take your point that Jon is entitled to privacy. However, I would argue that this directly effects the stability of his family, which is discussed at considerable length. I see this as a consequence of his choices--when he was employed and stable, he managed to stay out of the limelight. If you were or are a public figure, then there will always be negative tabloid stories. Whether intentional or not, Jon was in on the decision to expose his and his kids' lives to constant scrutiny. The genie doesn't go back in the bottle just because he is basically a good guy and loves his kids.

Whether or not he is better than TFW or not (a very low bar--almost everyone else on the planet is), because he doesn't abuse them, doesn't change the fact that he has some serious character flaws that prevents him from being a stable parent.

I don't know what is true, or what is not true in that article. Really hoping the abandoned kitten part isn't true! And neither does anyone else. I don't understand the backlash any time Jon is called into question, especially when there is an article in a publication that is relevant to the discussions here. Why get so upset? The landlord and his wife seem like shady characters, and I wouldn't put it past them to contact Kate and try to get some money out of Kate, first. Of course, she would believe everything they said about Jon. Hence the part about making a donation to the Animal Rescue League with a portion of the proceeds from the yard sale.

If you can't read it, I you can click (the thing that looks like a circle with a break in it and an arrowhead in the break) to get a new one. Of course, there's no guarantee you can read that one either! But sometimes it helps.

Strange that some of us aren't getting that 'captcha' or whatever it's called prompt before posting.
------------------------
Maybe you don't get the captcha because you're signed on (your name is blue/magenta). I'm using name/url and am getting it.

It's a bit annoying, but at least admin doesn't have to sort through all those annoying "My mother make $xxxx a month on the internet" posts that plague so many other, unmoderated sites.

One time a landlord did the same thing to me -- went in before my move out was complete. I told him I would bring the keys by when I was out and everything was cleaned. He, instead, went into the apartment before I had a chance to clean it. I had paid rent through the end of the month, I told him I would be completely done by the 26th--the last weekend of the month. He went in on the 25th. There were still bags of trash waiting to go out. The oven hadn't been cleaned. My condiments were still in the refrigerator. He cleaned it all out before I got off work and could get over there to finish my move. I met him there when I showed up with all my cleaning supplies. I was pissed, and a little mortified. It was a mess.

I suspect the exact same thing happened to Jon.

I'll see if the default settings got changed with having to verify you are ahi man to post. I know they have the option but our spam problem has never been so bad that I needed to turn that on.

That is appalling and completely illegal. Most states absolutely prohibit a landlord from entering your residence absent absolute utter emergency (like pipes are spraying water everywhere or fire is burning the place down).

That is your house, even if they own it.

I see Kate can't learn to shut up. Kate just tweeted that: FYI: yard sales don't make much money. Purging is gr8 organizational skill, especially after construction/losing major storage space.

So we gone from makeover to remodel to construction of losing major storage space.
Boy, Kate is really digging that BS hole, the one that says I need the money for buying things for the kids and house. And also predicts that she won't make any money. Kate is a tool!

Oddly, I'm not getting the prompt to verify I'm ah uman. Maybe it's only if you're not signed in??

Math Girl (#193), you're right -- if the kids are with Jon only 1%
of the time according to TFW, they couldn't have gotten too
attached to that alleged kitten. I love it when her own words
trip her up.
&&&

I had the same thought. It's just a kitten, can't be that old. Goodness gracious, for kids who never see Jon they sure got attached quick. So much show that they're even talking about the kitten after? OOPS. I do like when she goes off on Jon because she never thinks and then stuff like that happens.

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said...

If the kids talked about, and loved that kitten so much, so didn't Kate try and adopt it for them to have?

&&&

Same question. She admits they have so many animals already, what's one more? If this is just so tragic, YOU adopt it. Cats aren't that much trouble at all.

B.S. She doesn't have a clue what did or didn't happen with that kitten or the foggiest idea whether there is a grain of truth to the cat incident. She saw an opportunity to trash Jon and she took it. The truth is irrelevant to her. Heaven forbid she might call or text Jon to ask HIM what happened before assuming the worse. This is an obsessed parental alienator.

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said...

Nice. You've said you're not a cat person. I guess that means you're okay with someone leaving a kitten behind to die. Would you feel the same way about a puppy? Yeah, I didn't think so. Please indeed.

&&&

Huh? You completely misinterpreted what I meant. Of course I'm not okay with leaving any animal behind to die. I love all animals. I haven't the foggiest idea that even happened in the first place.

I grew up with a cat. I loved him like a baby. I don't recall saying I'm not a cat person, although I don't currently own them and do enjoy dogs better. I don't dislike cats.

What I meant by "a kitten, please" was that it's just too perfect that the story is about a kitten, because they are just so helpless and adorable. Like I joked, the only thing that would make this story harder to believe is if it were a baby seal. I find the whole thing inherently not credible, and Kate chiming in to offer her stupid two cents just adds to the lack of credibility and makes one question whether she had something to do with this little stunt.

I'm not sure how you interpreted that OTHER thing out of what I said. Beats me.

Radar On Line's story about Jon and the kitten has mysteriously disappeared from their site. Wonder what that's all about.

Well this is weird I went into blogger settings and the "word verification" setting for comments is set to OFF just like always! So odd that people are being prompted to do that when it's decidedly turned off. I wonder if it's some sort of blogger glitch that they'll fix soon.

I have lawn boys and pool girls, but I don't know that we have any IT techs on staff.

Kate's tweet has to be one of the most disgusting things I've read from her in awhile. Why wouldn't she just ignore the Jon rumor, or at least tweet, "I'd prefer not to make a comment about this." She can't do it. She sees an opportunity to slam him, and she does. She and Milo would be very compatible. Neither one thinks before they tweet, and neither one can shutupshutupshutup. They can't sit on their hands. It's like some force is pulling them to Twitter and an evil voice is saying, "Do it. Do it. Do it." And they obey.

What's unbelievable about this that she ADMITS she knows nothing about it. It's not like she said well yes I know about that, it's unfortunate. That's different.

And yet after all her whining about how awful the tabloids are, she just goes ahead and believes exactly what they say.

What the heck? That just proves how much she STILL hates him. She completely abandoned her mantra (all paps lie!) in order to insult him. She never thinks. She just never thinks.

She should have said nothing at all. Or heaven forbid ask the sheeple to please respect the privacy of her children's father.
