The Big Tip

Once in awhile a reality show comes along that tries to make a difference. "The Big Tip" promises to do just that by singling out people in the restaurant service industry deserving of recognition for community service or just all around do-gooders (one waitress is a foster mom, another gives all her money to a dog rescue, still another is also a firefighter). Rachael Ray will then present the waiter or waitress with a "big tip" in the form of a check.

We're not the biggest fan of chirpy Rachael Ray, her mediocre cooking skills and her ripoff garbage bowl marketed to solve a problem that never even existed, but this tear jerker is a cool idea. And it has a little bit of credibility, since Rachael started out as a waitress herself in her parents' restaurants. She works hard, owns pit bulls, and she promises not to bear offspring because she just wouldn't be a fit mother, which you have to respect. Looking forward to this one.

Sunday, Food Network. 10 p.m. or check local listings. The series premieres Sunday with promises of more episodes in the fall.

Then when it is time for it to be on, my tv changes to that show.

&&&&
I can see that really pissing off the men in my family when they're watching the world cup and suddenly Kate and her gaggle of kids show up.
Can you change it back once it "auto tunes" to it??
*************************
Yes you can change if you decide not to watch it or cancel before it comes on. Mine used to have a choice for one time autotune, daily, or weekly but doesn't now. I didn't have to autotune a favorite show every week then.

Did I miss something?:

Fired Up 4 Kate (@MiloandJack)

6/16/14, 9:30 PM
@Kateplusmy8 Media rounds in NYC....long tiring day 4U. But I know ur happy 2b working! #SingleMomSupportingHerKids. :)

Is Milo assuming this or what?
---------------------------------

I think Milo saw some tweets about Kate being on Bethany yesterday(which was a repeat), and she automatically assumed Kate is doing the talk show rounds to promote the special.

))

Aha that makes sense. Well, you know what I mean

I just went to TLC's web site to get some info for a new post and boy are they skimpy on advertising the update special.

Most of the web site is dominated by the Little Couple. They have no advertisement for the special in their five scrolling banner "advertisements" for their major programming. You can finally find a small little blurb about Kate under "now on TLC" but that's after scrolling through NINE OTHER ARTICLES.

Wow, they really bent over backwards to avoid advertising this one.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Kate drop Robert's suit without prejudice? Meaning she can sue him again for the same allegations. Why would any sane person pay someone off to have a case dropped, then allow to door to stay open to be sued again? To me, it's plain as day that there was no settlement here, the documents that were able to be viewed on PACER prove this. Here's a situation where there is the indisputable proof they demand, but they choose to ignore it because it doesn't fit their agenda.
***********************
You're right, Kate dropped the suit without prejudice. Now let's see if she dares to file again when the new book comes out. She does NOT want this to go to court, and if she files again--and drops the charges again--it will look like she's just using the legal system to bully Robert. Which, of course, is exactly what she tried to do before. But if Robert can show a pattern of malicious behavior (file charges, drop charges, file charges, drop charges--you get the picture), it's likely that he can sue her.
Are the Sheeple really stupid enough to think that Kate settled without securing an agreement that the book could never be published? What's the point of settling at all if he can just turn around and publish again? Or do they think Kate is so stupid that she didn't think to secure such an agreement? What excuse are they going to come up with when the book comes out again next week? Was Kate too stupid to put a stop to it when she had the chance, or is the book all true and she can't dispute the truth? And how do they explain the fact that Kate is not running to court right now, claiming a violation of the supposed "settlement agreement"? If there was such an agreement, it would be legally binding, and she could go to court the moment he announced he was re-publishing. But did that happen? Ummm, NO!
