How could the carnival have been that much fun? There were more helpers than guests. The six had the booths all to themselves. No joyous interaction with other 10-year-olds. They threw a ball at stacked cans. The can fell over! Next?

All that preparation, expense and commotion. For such lackluster results.

Maybe watching Mommy fling herself at a colorful wall and wishing she could stay there was the BEST part of the day.

OrangeCrusher1 said:You mean the friends who have to be shuttled in for a party because their parents are not allowed to drive up to the house? That part was really weird, as if I would have sent my kid off on a van to a party being filmed for a tv show?

I'll bet the attendees had to park at some parking lot and shuttled over so that anyone driving by the house wouldn't see the driveway full of cars and guess that some filming was going on. Of course, if the carnival was setup on the lawn in front, then my theory doesn't fit at all.

PADUTCHMOM, Thanks for saying what I've always felt. She premeditated everything, and then cries: I need help.

&&&&&&&

Sorry about my rant. I don't usually do that. I was so ticked off when the fans went on and on about everything in Robert's book was a lie, embellished, and exaggerated. They know absolutely nothing about Kate's cries for state aid. Nothing. To say that none of this happened when it's all been documented outside of Robert's book is so ridiculous, so typical of sheeple denial and cult-like thinking. Some of them wouldn't know their a$$ from a hole in the ground.

Kate said the fish booth was the most popular.

She bought 14 Beta fish for prizes.

There were 5-6 fish left over for her to deal with.

Alexis won a fish.

Twin was exhausted from "sins of impatience".

Most popular?

Some girl just tweeted that Kate and all the kids are at a game. She posted a pic of Kate, but thankfully not the kids. Kate is in her usual scowl, but dressed somewhat appropriately. Nice that she has them all out supporting Cara

PA Dutch Mom said...

A $6,800 John Deere mule shows up that none of them, even the twins should legally operate until they are 16

&&&&&&&&&

They can legally operate it now, as long as it's on her property. Should they operate it? Of course not. Not with the terrain in her yard, and not being as young and inexperienced as they are. There have been so many accidents here with those things when kids are driving them. It overturns, and the results are often fatal.

Jeremy said...

Per twitter, Kate is at a game with all the kids today, wearing her typical scowl (pic of her but not kids) . At least she is physically supporting Cara.

Sheeple really have a weird sense of humor. I wonder if they would fall on the floor laughing if Shoka was out in the yard eating plastic wrap and it got stuck in his throat.

Another thing that makes me wary of the Gator purchase is that kids
of that age don't always have great judgment. Especially if friends
are over, there might be a perfectly natural urge to want to show off
their driving skills, and perhaps do something unsafe.

I thought she did everything for the party?

"Jordan Swaim 5/28/14 Figure 8 Films (Kate Plus 8) Thank you SO much for everything your team did for us this weekend. Everyone was incredibly nice, helpful, and I felt very confident putting so many things in your hands. Itza Party truly helped this event be such a big success, and I KNOW we couldn't have done it without you. You went above and beyond (remember hot dog buns?!), and I can't thank you enough."

http://itza-party.com/testimonials/

PJ
-----------------------------------
I couldn't see the testimonial on the website. They must have deleted it once they realized someone posted it here. Even without reading the thank you from TLC to party planning company, we all know that Kate did zero for the party.

All the planning and work plus paying for all of it was done by TLC and anything that Kate "pretended" to do was just for filming ... until she yelled at the crew to "stop pretending to film and get to work (clap clap, snap snap) ... I'm done".

It amazes me that anyone would still believe Kate did any work for the party! And who in their right mind would believe that Kate paid for any of it ! All the praise from her fans about the party is just crazy! Kate basically just showed up and took all the credit.

At least the Gkids know the truth. They lived it. Based on all the posts about how much the kids call Kate out on her lies and throw the TRUTH back at her, I am sure they will not let Kate get away with taking all the credit for their birthday party when they are around.

I think the fish were in the bowls.I also thought that odd. The kids were supposed to try for a bowl with colored water and then they would win a fish from the clear bowls which were on the same table. But fish could be injured by faulty aim or being splashed /jostled about.
--------------------------

Yes, the fish were in the clear bowls. Here is a clip that includes that game. If you watch at approximately 1:06, when Leah goes to pick up one of the balls, you can see a fish swimming in one of the bowls.

&&&

Exactly why we should always be very careful when we allow children to operate anything that could be dangerous. Their judgment skills are still extremely underdeveloped. Even if they have every intention of not getting hurt their brains are not able to make the kind of sound decisions an adult would make. It's dangerous enough for a 16 year old to get behind a wheel let alone a 10 year old.

So nice to see your comments again, Dmasy.
Such a coincidence you'd ask...I happen to keep a glittered calculator (and matching stapler!) on my craft table. Strangely enough, none of the math adds up if we're using the figures Kate used.

My conclusion: The shuttle bus ride outta there and away from the konpound was the biggest thrill of the entire day. What kid enjoys being afraid of their friend's mother?

I hope Jon takes them rollerblading over the holidays.

Formerly Duped said...

Mady reminded me of...Kate when she complained of being tired manning that busy fish booth...

I also thought the clothing trip was odd. The kids did not seem excited, Mady was critical of their choices,Cara was quite cranky, and they selected clothes similar to what they always wear. What's with saying Collin 'looks like a businessman?" Why would Kate think that? A button-down shirt looks nice on a boy.

I doubt any of those kids have driven the Gator since they filmed the party. Kate probably has the key locked up in her room, right next to the key to the tree house.

Latest numbers on RH's book on Novel Rank:

338 - US
18 - UK
40 - CA
TOTAL 396 in 5.5 days!!!

Compare to Novel Rank of Kate's cookbook sales for the ENTIRE month of September (her premiere month with book tours and tv appearances) includes both hard copy and kindle.
265 - US
13 - UK
49 - CA
TOTAL 327 for the ENTIRE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER!

RH's book has sold 69 more books in 5 1/2 days than Kate did in ONE month!

And based on some of the posts and tweets, it appears that even her fans are buying RH's book.

Her couch interviews were hot messes, all of them! ....and 2) when she's talking about how hard she has it…tucked ironically into a cozy chair, with her designer jeans-clad a** to the camera.

I was waiting for someone to mention this! She never changed position and her torso was rotated to the camera in a way that would be uncomfortable for a long period of time. 'Strike a Pose' comes to mind. She really does think she is hot sh!t.

In farm country, kids learn equipment earlier and more naturally. Responsible adults should always be involved. I don't consider Kate to be responsible or maybe even an adult.

Well said! I grew up on a farm and was driving a tractor by age 10 for simple tasks to help my dad. I started learning at 9 and by 10, I was responsible for cultivating a field - which is a kind of gentle turning of the earth as the plants are growing- to weed and aerate. It takes place at a very slow speed and one must be able to steer a straight line and turn a wide swath into the next set of rows to be tilled.I could take on the responsibility at a young age because I grew into it with instruction and safety rules. I really hope at least some of that will take place with the kids. If I were Jon, I'd be furious.

To me that's cruel to the fish, the child and the parents .Sets them up for loss, grief and guilt.

&&&

Completely agree. Each parent should be able to decide if and when their child may get a fish or any living animal. As a parent you don't get to make that decision for another family. It's rude.

It's different if you're taking your child to a community carnival. You as a parent are there and can tell your child you're going to skip the fish game.

On part two of "Kate Plus 8: Sextuplets Turn 10" Thursday, Kate revealed her big surprise birthday gift to the kiddos. And the present was… a John Deere Gator?! That's right, a motorized all-terrain vehicle that any grown man would love to get. The kids were excited because apparently they're allowed to drive it, on private property at least, and Kate was thrilled because the kids will be able to use it for work around their home!

I like Robert's numbers! Especially when you consider that it is a self-published book, only available on Kindle, and only released on Amazon. If you add up all the book and kindle sales of Kate's cookbook in its highest sales month, it wouldn't even add up to one week of sales of Robert's book.
I can't wait until Robert publishes in hardcover form.

Ok, I'm only going to say this about caged birds: we domesticated them, we over breed them and inter breed them, so they can't survive in the wild any more. Just like dogs, who have been domesticated, very rarely survive on their own, they usually stave to death, the hunting has been in most breeds, bread out. A lot of cats however, do still have the hunting gene. My 4 birds are very well taken care of, I just took my new bird to the vet for a check up, everything is fineBlood work up, feathers, body etc. except the bird has gastro yeast , which is a bateria, that once they get, have it the rest of their lives and will have to be medicated all the time. Which also means the breeder has it at his avian. I called the store and told the manger to inform the breeder. My vet told me to do that. I do not cut any of my birds wings. What I paid at the vet I could have bought about 10 birds. I do take care of my pets.

As for goldfish, they are a living breathing creature, not a toy. And this goes across the board for anyone: If you are not going to or wanting to commit to the length of any pets life, Please, do not get any pet. If you have pets you do no longer want, take a ride to any animal shelter, and surrender them, don't just open the door and let them go.

Now, about the goldfish. I have always been an animal lover and never abused any of them. However, I never thought of the issues that all of you have brought up regarding the carnival game with the goldfish.

I am ashamed to admit that I would run that booth at school carnivals, although the goldfish were not in the bowl. They were all in a big tank and when a child got a ball into the fishbowl, we gave them the bowl and scooped out a goldfish to put in it, then also gave them a small container of fish food.

I will never look at that game the same way again.

I picked it up off my son who always uses it the same as people might say 'aww, poor baby' when someone complains but has no reason to. I'm confused. Someone tweeted that they saw Jon today with all 8 of the kids and posted a pic of him with at least a few of them, but them someone else posted that they saw Kate today with all 8 of the kids and posted a pic of only kate? Am I missing something? I looked on Kate's timeline, but was only able to find a tweet about someone seeing only kate and a pic of her solo. The kids can't be two places at once.

On a side note, all their custody drama is just completely unnecessary. Most of my friends that are divorced have very fluid custody arrangements, and see their kids very often. One friend's ex still comes over every morning to get the kids ready for school, (she works earlier than him) and he even helps out with lawn care and snow removal. We jokingly call them Bruce and Demi, because they even have holidays together with new bf's & gf's along too. Oh and BTW sheeple, (they didn't have the most pleasant breakup either), but they are adults who love their children, so they worked hard and have moved past it. It is possible.

I saw HH sitting on the interview couch propped where half of her backside was there in her designer jeans. Piecing and a patching.

Do the sheeple think that these companies felt so bad for kate and they wanted to help her re-create HER dream of the tups 3rd birthday? All of it was for free?

If kate was truly piecing and patching, she could of used the Crooked Houses and set up a little carnival there. Stuffed fish animals for the Fish Game, watermelon eating contest, pie eating contest, Bingo game, everyone playing at one time. Gift cards as prizes. Have the cake, then everyone in the pool if it is warm enough! Popcorn,

Should of invited 15 to 20 kids the tups age and let Mady and Cara go on a day trip either with Jon or their friends.

@MiloandJack K was seeking "help" from the taxpayers . . . The people who don't have 8 kids when they know they can't manage /afford them.

Fired Up 4 Kate ‏@MiloandJack · 5m
@8MindBodySoul So what..Kate pays her taxes & has brought alot of revenue into that state. If someone is entitled 2help..that's govt. call!

Milo talks about how the book is full of "misinformation". Maybe Milo should check her "information" before she tweets stuff like that.

Milo, for your information:

1. It was not "7" years ago, it was "9".
2. The tups were 11 months olds at the time, not "premies".
3. Jon was still there, and Kate had a lot of helpers. One parent was not doing it alone.
4. The revenue(if any) the show brought to the state was after the show started airing, not when she pleaded to get a nurse for one more year.
5. And yes, it was the government's call and the government turned her down.

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said...

She can seek help all she wants. But the public has a right to say they are not okay with giving their money to her. Especially those of us who lived in PA at the time, including myself. It is NOT the government's call what she gets. The government is supposed to represent the needs of its constituents and act according to what WE would want. As I recall, they turned down her request for a nurse quite scathingly.

How come Jon doesn't get the same benefit of the doubt when he talks about his children's needs and areas of struggle, Milo?

Years ago a lady who wrote a newsletter called the Tightwad Gazette, some of you in here might remember it. It was written by Amy D. Her and her husband had I think 4 kids in the mid 80's. They were on Donahue because of the money that they saved. It was incredible. Her husband needed a new truck for work and he researched and found exactly what model he wanted, brand new. He sent over 25 letters to dealerships TO BID on the truck and the lowest price would win the bid.

The bids were very high and low. He saved thousands. I think it is brilliant. Especially, if you send the bid in and they get it a day or two before the end of the month. What you sell in that month determines what you get from the company to sell.

Birthday party: She had a Pirate themed bday party. Got old crates and fashioned them to look kinda like a ship. Got a sheet and made a huge sail and had a painted pirates head on it. She had a old cedar chest that she filled with newspapers so far and then got those gold pieces of chocolate and filled the rest of the chest up for the kids. There friends dressed up as pirates and damsels in distress. Had a pirate cake she made. They had so much fun.

Like the Farmer's Wife, you can be very creative with a very limited budget.

They were showing the kids playing in the yard with their dog and the narrator said, Even their dog was free!

It's possible JON came to the same game Kate was at with the kids. So the kids were "with" him but may have looked like they were with her if they came over to say hi and chat. There is picture proof the kids were with Jon but no picture proof they were ever with Kate.

It seems pretty obvious this is his weekend in light of dinner Friday night, despite Kate trying to make it seem like the kids were with her when she rambled about Alexis. And finally got caught, sort of. She came close anyway.

I agree with the "gift" to the tups being inappropriate and also want to add another reason. At this age most kids lack the ability to fully encompass the consequences of their actions, they lack the ability to react quickly when something unexpected happens, they lack the ability to inhibit all impulsive behaviors, the ruling is also asking drivers to be 16 years old because of size. I don't know how big the tups are but my grandchildren are Asian/white mix and are small for their age. Size does matter. This vehicle is designed for adults to use. The young kids do not fit right and will be a safety hazard in my opinion.
I know farm kids do use these vehicles earlier, but in my experience farm kids are taught about being safe in the real world, and logical thinking a lot earlier too. They also have been taught how to use each piece of equipment by someone who is experienced and watched all the farmers use these vehicles too.
I have seen some of the comments on other sites about the b'day bash and can not believe that so many people are so gullible. On a magazine cover, there she is and a picture of Jon with the kids inserted and how he wants his kids to stay off tv and in the comment section posters say he has no contact with his kids? And I thought a picture was worth a thousand words. Silly me.
I have spent my adult life teaching youngsters to consider sources of information, use critical thinking and always check for accuracy. Gee, I should have spent my time planting petunias.
Anyone have a jug of rumspringa???

Not at that time she didn't. So Milo feels it's okay to scam the state. Okay, then. Got it, Milo. I think you better shut up while you're ahead.

If Kate got a DUI for downing one too many shots, would Milo claim it's the fault of the Jack Daniels company for producing the whiskey, or would her excuse be that Kate was under a lot of stress? If she killed the occupants of another car, would Milo's reasoning be that they were elderly people and were going to die soon anyway?

I enjoyed using the riding lawnmower to cut the grass as a kid. I was not allowed to use it until I was 13 and then it was under supervision. I still have to use the hand mower for the edges but that was ok because I got to "drive". My parents knew how to trick me into doing chores.

The boys are too especially without a responsible adult riding with them. Are they even over the weight limit? The riding lawn mower we had would not work if there was less then 90 lb on the seat. It would turn off if you fell off.

It isn't just children who are hurt or killed in riding mower/atv/tractor accidents. Just this past year a very popular high school coach in the Cincinnati area lost his life when the riding mower he was using overturned. TFMJG is an idiot to give the kids something so dangerous. Does SHE even know how to operate it safely? I doubt it given what we've heard about her driving habits.

Don't you just love it when the sheeple are wrong? The past 9 days have been pretty hard on them. They predicted huge ratings for the first special. Didn't happen. Many of them predicted that Roberts book wouldn't come out. It did. They said that if Robert dared to release the book, Kate would just sue and make it disappear again. That didn't happen either. They predicted that nobody would buy the book and that the media would ignore it. Wrong and….wrong again. Some of them (I remember Ziggy tweeting this and others agreeing with her) that the second special would get even higher ratings than the first due to all the publicity. Nope! Robert's book is actually selling and being discussed and they can't make it go away. Now, apparently, a former nanny talked to The Enquirer and handed over Kate's manual. It's a frustrating time to be a sheeple.

And, to comment on the "gator", I simply do not get it. Another gift to the "unit" not 6 individual children, it's all about product placement, a freebie for TFW; this obviously trumps anything her kids may desire. This "gift" is not age-appropriate, and it is potentially dangerous! I loved the comment on Yahoo where the host said it was the kids getaway car. That is the only thing it would be good for, otherwise, I hope they stay off that thing, scary.

Regarding their one gift for all six, I watched the Quints by Surprise special and each child got their own individual gift. One got rollerblades, one got a teddy bear. I know they made a big deal because the dad insisted on getting his son a bb gun because he was the only boy.
I thought when they opened them, they would end up wanting each others, but they were all so happy. I guess because the parents actually knew what they liked.
They did show them all playing with their individual toys nice and calmly too.
I will say the morning of their bday seemed very scripted, with them emphasing so much about it being their birthday that I felt it sure wasn't their bday on filming day.

Back to the Gator, though. It is just another issue that TFW has not bothered to research. All through the years she seems to have put them in harm's way, and that is aside from filming their every moment. For one thing, she would leave them alone in their cages/cribs for hours until Jon came home. I wonder if she forbade any of her many helpers to go up and check on them? I'll bet she did. Six of them up there awake and alone could hurt themselves in any number of ways. I'm sure they did, we just haven't heard about it, non-disclosure agreements and all that.

Then when they moved into the house on Heffner Road, that staircase to the second floor gave me the willies. How many tumbles did they take down that thing that she never twittered about? The woman is an absolute danger to her kids.

Now it's the Gator. She had better be careful about that one, because one of these days her luck is going to run out.

Of course on camera it's the opposite. She's the protective, ever caring mother, always worried about their well being which is a whole lotta bullshit. She is a lying liar who lies.

I usually buy the NE every week. Hey, it's my stress relief to read the 'rags' every week and I definitely had a bad week this past week.

Part of the article is titled "Nannies Ordered to Spy on Ex-Hubby Jon" as TFMJG told the nannies "You are always my eyes and ears and need to report everything you see and hear!!!" In addition, the nannies were not allowed to share the remote control for the family home's front gate with Jon, had to email FMJG all the details of any conversation with Jon, and keep a log of every time Jon returned the (shared) van to make sure he used the correct amount of gas.

Hoffman is the author of a book which is currently a top seller

T said...

I read the NE article. Normally, I would not give this publication much credence, but I must admit that the writing in the screen shots they have sure does sound exactly like Kate right down to her strange figures of speech and over use of exclamation points. Here are some highlights:

-kids can only talk to Jon with permission, and when they do talk to him, the nanny should listen " ALWAYS listen with one ear to hear what they are saying" and "you are my eyes and ears and need to report everything you see and hear!!!" "DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE WITHOUT CHECKING FIRST to see if it's Jon. If you give them permission, they may answer. THEY ALSO MAY NOT CALL HIM WITHOUT PERMISSION!"
-However calls to him should be limited and permission can be denied "you do not have to grant permission if you are too busy or the schedule doesn't allow it (example dinner time, shower time, bed time, room cleaning time, or homework time)".
-the children "are NEVER allowed to touch my work out equipment, fans, weights, etc."
-the kids "may NEVER help themselves to the game closet", and can only play with "close supervision".
- "no one should be in my room without permission" and "the kids are NOT allowed to play in the front living room"
- at meal times "serve very very small servings. You can always give more, but too much makes waste. I HATE WASTING FOOD!"
-the nannies are required to keep track of every contact and conversation with Jon and email Kate the details immediately. They were also required to keep a log for van (when they still shared it), and make sure that Jon "used the correct amount of gas!"
-there's also a bunch of stuff about Kate's "pet peeves" and cleaning specifics. Basically no clutter, no toys, no doors left open, no purses on the counters, don't use her knives, and kids are only allowed to sit and play quietly in certain rooms, and whole after school routine she has written about before. "General rule of thumb, the house should never look like it is lived in by the end of the day". "The kitchen is my baby. I have an exact way if caring for it. There is definitely a right and wrong in the kitchen", "knives are very expensive and ONLY get washed by HAND...I have meltdowns about my knives and improper use regularly, FYI!"
-it also includes typical Kate contradictions and demands like, "Piano rule: one player at a time, one note at a time", "NO stomp walking. Use light feet! I teach the kids that no one should be able to hear you walking. Please do so AND teach the kids!"

I never see Kate on anything but on that clip up above she looks different. There is a huge transformation with her looks . She has spent huge amounts of money on herself. From head to toe she has changed everything. No wonder she is over confident and probably is hooked on plastic surgery. You really notice if you don't see her on a regular basis.

I also notice that the kids seem very relaxed in front of the cameras. Some more then others. There is one child who is over confident and needs to tone it down a bit or it might cause her problems with her peers as she gets older. A common saying for that is " get over yourself".

But considering who their mother is they seem like nice kids!

He had driven for a few years and wasn't goofing around. It was icy. He lost control and it landed on him in the ditch and killed him.

My 11 yo granddaughter was allowed to drive the atv around the yard and driveway in low gear. She was being followed by kids in the go-cart and looked back to see how close they were. She wasn't going overly fast but hit a rock and tipped over. She was ok but it could have been bad. My daughter thought she would be ok going slow. Now she won't let her kids on it. THank GOD.

I NEVER had rules like this. Ever. My rules were make sure they get to where they need to be, no T.V. during the week, make sure they are fed and clean and their room and playroom are cleaned. They did want it SPIT SPOT but they weren't specific about it. And my boss was a narcissist too! This doesn't even seem like a narcissist. There is something much more going on here. Lately I keep thinking gosh she is nothing like the narcissist I know anymore. Nothing. If anything narcissist was kind of disconnected from myself and the children. It was sort of like oh are the kids still alive house still in order? Wonderful now I'm off to get drunk have a good night. Kate is the opposite, she is obsessed with the petty details. How is this healthy? How does this make her feel good?

Also as far as Jon goes she's just simply a psychotic parental alienator. Period. It's no wonder some of the kids have distanced themselves from Jon. It's too much of a headache dealing with Kate. At this age their phone calls with him are none of her damn business. If she has an issue with it she can ask the judge for monitored phone contact. Otherwise butt the fuck out you waste of space.

When the sheeple congratulate themselves whenever they think there are issues between the kids and Jon, they never consider it's directly because of Kate's alienation and how sick that is. So congratulations on sabotaging a child's good relationship with their father. It's on you when they have daddy issues later in life that require extensive therapy. Pigs.

1) Saw the clip where she takes them clothes shopping. You know why she thinks the way Collin likes to dress is weird? Because, if memory serves, Jon likes to dress up as well or at least he used to when I watched the show years ago. And of course, any thing that reminds her of Jon is just bad.

2) Could Jon use the screen shots from the NE article if he's trying to make a case of parental alienation? Does anyone know if he still is planning to file for full custody?

I would hope 1. Jon knew about it and 2. that at the very least, he brought the issue of the kids never having a private phone conversation with him to the judge and that it was stopped. I'd hope there would have to be some concrete reason behind the calls being listened to for it to be approved.

To anyone who has seen the NE article - did it go into any detail about the nanny and how they got the manual? Thanks!

Milo, you're an idiot. Why would only two kids sit right to Jon's left like that? You'd sit across from him. You could also see other pairs of feet at the bottom of the photo. It was obvious there were several kids there. Why can't you be happy for them that they're all doing something so fun and relaxing with Dad? I hope this means he went to court and INSISTED he see his Collin. This HAS been a tough week for the sheeple.

I'm sure they gave the nanny confidentiality, they are experienced with anonymous sources, and even if she were found out I wouldn't worry. This is more of a whistleblower issue on some very concerning parenting that borders on abuse and is certainly alienation, and it is hard to imagine any judge honoring a confidentiality agreement over exposing something so egregious. People think they have to honor confidentiality agreements no matter what and that's simply not the case. You have a lot of leeway when it comes to disclosing abuse or general whistleblowing. You can't contract away someone's right to do that in any state I'm aware of. Confidentiality agreements are supposed to be so the nanny doesn't run to the tabloids when husband is having an affair and goes to a hotel every weekend and husband and wife have not even been speaking to each other for months. Been there done that (awkward) and it's perfectly acceptable to keep your staff quiet about things that are not a matter of public concern.

They are not for when someone, say for instance, beats their wife or is vicious to their children, drives drunk, or otherwise engages in behavior that is a matter of public concern.

Lol that's such a funny image. All the sheeple lined up in their hair nets, frantically trying to deflect story after credible story.

They can't even blame the nanny manual on Jon. Why in the world would Jon be shown something like that that marginalizes him so much? Even Kate's not that stupid, and he's not over at the house. A concerned nanny was horrified by what she saw, took out her iPhone and took a photo, and blew the whistle and they can't do anything about it much less blame it on Jon. When it's just Jon responsible for every negative thing it's easy to write him off as just out for revenge. When it start to be a much wider circle of concerned people it's harder to dismiss them so simply. Poor things.

It's funny but most people I know want the opposite. They want a home that looks lived in, homey. A play station controller out on the ottoman, a playpen out with some toys in it, a half read book on the couch, a bowl of fruit and a bag of pretzels on the kitchen counter.

When we do one of those deep spring cleaning things, clean our house spick and span top to bottom and get everything put away, sometimes it's a little uncomfortable right? Like we just moved in or something.

Does anyone else feel like notes are sort of passive aggressive no matter how nice you are in them?

We had a rule with my college roomies. No post it notes. We were all home often enough that anything pressing could wait until you saw them in person.

It actually really helped, especially since there were four of us. Four women in one apartment is a tall order to ensure the peace but we did it. It forced us to just talk out any issues not leave some note about how you just left to get milk for the place, AGAIN. It would annoy me to constantly get instructions via notes. Just talk to me. And here we go again, my narcissist never once left me a note. If they had something they wanted from me they would simply ask me to my face. And there may have been things that were over the top but they were polite about it. She's so far gone it's fascinating. Also as a celeb, you put as little in writing as possible. That's just good practice.

The nanny manual basically confirmed what many people has suspected for years that Kate was underfeeding the kids. Remember the real real small portions she made for valentine's day one year & she got defensive on twitter saying the kids had an extra 'snack' to eat on the bus? That's untrue as we know that's against school rules about eating on the bus. At 10, she's still making them eat very tiny portions of food. The boys are on the thin side, still. I see Hannah has rounded out, she has these full cheeks, while the boys doesn't. I still think of that unflattering BLT sandwich she posted on twitter. Unbelievable!

It's not.

Any nanny asked to do that should be extremely uncomfortable with it and if they are worth their salt, should politely refuse, even if they aren't given the job. Moreover, if you are tied to an agency, you should immediately report that to your agency. That's something that can easily get the family blacklisted from the agency. At the very least, the agency could speak to the family about it and instruct them that it is not appropriate to ask that of their nannies.

It is sad that a nanny would be forced to be so restrictive with food instructed by the Fuhrer.

If she was gone for a couple of days in a row, I would fix them an egg sandwich, a whole one, cereal, biscuits and gravy on the next day. If there were any leftovers I would of bagged them up and put it in her freezer in the garage and then right before she was coming in, get it out and put it in the trunk of my car when the kids were out of sight.

It would of been great if the nanny could of taken the manual to Kinkos and zeroxed the entire manual while she was out of town and the kids were all in school when she was out doing errands. Then she could of put the manual back where ever the W kept it. Then on my off time, I would of went and made a bunch of copies.

I wonder if she iPhoned every page of that book? It is pretty thick and what gets me it is professionally printed. Who ever printed it, read it!

Mel said...

And now we know why she doles out the food on paper plates instead of serving family style.

I've always thought how much more work it is for her to serve individual plates like that versus putting platters and bowls on the table and letting them serve themselves.

I thought she liked the extra work in a perverse way so that she could claim martyr. Now I think it's so she makes sure they don't get a gram more than the allotted amount for the day.

The nannies probably have a check list similar to the chicken list.
Anyone ask for more food? Which one? Did they eat ALL of the second helping? Did anyone trade food servings? Leave list of names so that beatings can ensue.

What's sick is that Kate has created an atmosphere of paranoia.
"Who's gonna rat on me today?"

&&&

And that's the bottom line is that what she's doing is not healthy for them.

We should be teaching children to assume the best in people, have a positive outlook, give people, especially family members, the benefit of the doubt. Accentuate the positives. Have a good attitude about what the court has decided is best for this family (for Jon to be in their lives.) Instead she teaches them distrust, paranoia, fear, watch your back, tattle whenever you have to, farm out the work of tattling if you cannot be there. She teaches them to assume the worst. The value of having each other's back in a family is not one she holds. Rather she values outing even the slightest of transgressions and rewards those who do so instead of being disappointed that the family doesn't support each other.

It just never occurs to her that might it be better to teach the children that instead of tattling that somebody hasn't done their chore or done it properly, that instead, they should HELP them get it done? And that in turn that person will pay it forward when you are in a bind with choring someday too? Good grief.

The irony is for all she complains that we assume the worst in her, she does the same exact thing to everyone around her most of all her own children's father.

Good morning ~

For the record I DVR'd both specials because I was convinced that TLC would once again throw Kate under the bus by allowing the true Kate to be shown to the world and I was not disappointed. I was also happy but not surprised to see that the ratings were significantly down after part one was aired.

Now that RH has re-released his book and the media are printing stories about what is in it, while people were talking about the update special, I don't see Kate getting another show but maybe, just maybe, another update special when the six pack turns 13 and the twins are 16. But until then I am going to hope and pray that Kate won't be able to get on any more TV shows, talk show or otherwise, so in three years it will really be Kate WHO?

I did note one thing that I don't know if it has been mentioned or not yet - Kate must really care about Zorro because I noticed that she has a heat lamp (the red light glow) next to his cage at night because it is next to a window where I'm sure cold air hits his cage especially during the winter. However I also agree with the above posters that for any bird to be in the kitchen where he could land on a hot stove or in a mixer is just asking for a tragedy.

As for the John Deere utility vehicle - like others on this blog I know that Kate did not have to pay for it and that it was really was a gift to Kate and not the kids. Yes they are too young to be driving it and I'm sure that they probably have not been allowed to do so since the taping. I'm sure it was on Kate's wish list because she knew it was going to be needed by the kids when their chores expand to landscaping duties - leaf blowers, hedge trimming equipment, edgers, etc. will need to be hauled around.

As for Kate needing one to get her garbage to the curb, well guess what, I'm one with a long driveway and I use the ball hitch on the back of my truck to drive my can to the curb. Thank goodness cans come with wheels these days because I simply tip it over and put the handle over the hitch. If I had two cans I would have to make two trips, and if I had any kids and if I were Kate and had a lazy ass, I would haul at least one kid (rotate them from week to week on their chore chart) and have the kid put the can on my hitch and then when we get to the curb get out and unhitch the can from the back of my truck and set it up for pickup.

Yep I wouldn't even have to get out of my truck!!!!

Now I do not own a John Deere Gator so I can say this for sure but I'm thinking it comes with a hitch but not a ball one. The hitch would be for a separate utility cart (like what you will see being hauled behind riding mowers) and these carts require a pin to attach. As for whether or not she would ever pick up the can and put it in the utility part of the Gator ... NO she would not because they are heavy and besides she might break a nail!!!

I don't think the nanny could do that or bag any food for herself. I'm pretty sure she probably counts the number of baggies in each box in the kitchen drawer before she 'travels' for work & re-count them after she returns home. I wouldn't put it past her to do something like that. After all, she's quite fond of numbers....1 tbsp of scrambled eggs per kid. I wonder how she instructed the nanny to pre-measure servings at each meal since she would be serving different foods for different meals. How do you portion out meat & sauce for a dinner time meal or fruit/vegetables for a lunchtime meal, for example?

There will always be food wasted at one time or another no matter how much she withholds food from the kids. Get over yourself, lady.

Kate may claim to be laughing at the negative publicity, but the fact is, this is the moment in time that she is making her bid for that elusive new show. She has tried for almost 3 years, failed each time, and finally she staged a "comeback" to TV with the specials. This was supposed to sell her and the kids. This was supposed to show TLC and the other networks that they are still marketable. Instead, the ratings were mediocre for the first special, took a nosedive for the second, a book about her abuse of the kids and their pets is being read and discussed, and now the NE has exposed even further just what a horrible mother and human being she is.
She said she wanted a second shot. She got it. Not only did she not deliver ratings, but she is being exposed as a monster. Does she think that's going to get her a show? She probably still thinks she's just "controversial" when the truth is, she is hated. I doubt that TLC wants a client that is a known child/animal abuser, especially since it's not just one guy making that claim (and backing it up). It makes them look bad. And she doesn't even bring in big ratings to offset the negative publicity. She sheer ugliness has ruined her, finally. And she truly deserves it.

Well said, Sheri-159 Or as my very foul mouthed father would have said "I wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire or give them the sweat off my balls." Hope this is not too risqué to be posted.

Mickey are you still friends with Polly? If so, what does she think about what's going on now?

OT - so last Friday Barbara Walters was promoting her special where she interviewed the father of the alleged shooter in Santa Barbara.

Because I have no kids, even though I always put the families and friends of the victims of all the school shootings in my prayers, I didn't think that I would have a personal connection to any of these events.

But I was wrong. In April when I logged on to my computer I saw that another school rampage was currently going on and when I clicked on the link I knew it was where my cousins go to high school in Murrysville, PA. Not a school shooting but a child going around stabbing classmates.

I immediately called my cousin who told me her 2 sons did not go to school that day because they were sick and she was at the doctor's office with them. Then she said, "this just proves that these tragedies can happen anywhere at any time".

I did not watch the BW special on Friday night but I'm pretty sure the parents did not see any warning signs, no doubt just like the other parents of the other alleged shooters.

However I did have the TV on the other night about Doomsday Preppers on NATGEO and there was a high school student who is convinced that the world will be coming to an end when the economy really collapses and he was weapons to save himself and his family when the world goes nuts when there is no money.

As I watched this episode I admit I'm afraid that if some one at his school tells him he is nuts for stockpiling guns and knives that he will snap ... as a viewer I believe I see the warning signs that this 16 yo needs to be evaluated but hey, am I the only one??? I can only hope that someone at the school saw this episode and will take some measures to check into this matter more thoroughly.

But I do know this - guns do not kill people, people kill people. Just like my silverware over the years did not make me "curvy".

Hmmm...so the nanny is supposed to be TFW's "eyes and ears"
when they're talking to their dad. But,but,but...there are 8 -
count 'em, 8 - kids there! It's a madhouse, remember? Much
more than one person can ever handle! So how can this one
little ol' nanny monitor these individual phone conversations
while still managing the menagerie of "rabid beasts?"

The thought that these poor little souls - especially the boys --
have an outsider listening their private conversations with their
daddy makes me sick. If every word is going back to Mom,
you can't complain about Mom. And Mom reaaaaally wants you
to stay home when it's Dad's weekend, so you can't talk to him
then. If this isn't a recipe for parental alienation, I don't know
what is.

Mickey I am glad to see your posts. Maybe the recent happenings will encourage other "oldies" to check in here. Hippie Chick, Dallas Lady, Sue Buddy -- I am sure they still have interesting opinions.

Hello, Angel Jones.

I might just buy my first ever National Enquirer.

Layla (#183), yes, this was TFW's big chance to, as I think she once
referred to it, prove she could once again "hit it out of the park."

Swing and a miss, sister.

Reading the monster rules-(I mean KK)- it really disturbed me.

These kids can't be kids they can't play talk walk skip w/o asking I mean WTF they can eat drinking cough breath w/o asking again WTF,

I said it's like prison it's worst.

KK told the nanny to feed the kids small portions? But she say's on CWS that-" One of the ways I show my children love is by cooking for them." I guess she doesn't love them with food portions huh.

chefsummer #Leh said...

And the kids can't even talk to their father in private what is Kate so afraid of?

Is she scared that the kids might say something to dad is she scared they may like talking to Jon and want to see him more?

Question for those who watched part 2- does Mady ever "happy up"?
________

M was being a teen.

I couldn't stare a child so if I was kk's nanny she would fire me.

Funny how Kate says both the kitchen and Zorro are her 'babies' and treats them thus, but not so much her own children.

Thanks Bill for posting the link to the Household Manual from CWS. BTW. In it, Kate says " I don't have any full-time help because people tend to get overwhelmed and stressed out."

After reading the NE article, I can see why anyone would get stressed out working for her.

I wonder if these 2 rules were made because Kate wanted silence when she was hungover:

1. Piano rule: one player at a time, one note played at a time at a time.

2. No stomp walking. Use light feet! I teach the kids that no one should be able to hear you walking. Please do so AND teach the kids.

What's the point of having a piano if you can't play more than one note at a time? Kind of defeats the purpose of having a piano and learning how to play.

My experience with narcissists suggests they have absolutely no interest in animals whatsoever. They don't want to HARM animals necessarily but they don't care or understand the love one might have for a dog or even a fish. Do not ask the narcissist to feed the cat because they will forget. Do not ask the narcissist where the cat is because this is when you realize the cat has been dead for a week in the back yard and she didn't notice.

My thought on that is that animals can't really do anything "for" them other than unconditional love, which they have no use for. Therefore animals are nothing to them.

You know this past week or so, I'm beginning to think she's not a narcissist at all after all.

This is more like sociopathic, something much deeper.

I raised 4 teens ,and none ever acted like Mady does, especially out in public. Her problem is she inherited too many of Kate's genes I am afraid, and the rest is caused by her environment of constant Kate to mimic.

Do any of the kids take piano lessons?
Concerning the food portions...hasn't Kate said in the past she makes 2 dz eggs, a lb of bacon and a loaf of bread for breakfast??
seems her pics never agree with her words.....

(this is funny, but when she said she used a bazillion pounds of butter in the frosting, I thought about all that BUTTER she bought a few years ago on SALE.

For the life of me I can't see how a nanny would starve 8 kids.

If it was me I would bring snacks from my own home and give it to them.

NJGal51 said...

I'm probably going to buy the NE when I go to the store today but I will go to self check out just because. How stupid is that! I always think of the NE with the Bat Boy stories.

I did see a clip of TFW lying on the ground as the twins drove the gator out. The girls are still standing at attention even when she's prone. Shoots the good bra story all to hell. She does seem to need to get them lifted though. The weight loss (or weight of the implants) has caused quite a bit of sagging.

Is the manual in NE the same manual that was seen on CWS? There was talk that the CWS manual was created for the show.

Neither Mady nor Cara 'happy up.' They have moments of smiles and enjoyed being with their friends, but mainly were negative, complaining, crying or insulting siblings. Their life sucks but they have taken on some of their mother's personality traits.

____

I took it was M was giving KK what she deserved as well as being a spoiled teen.

M has her mother's number and she going to take advantage of having it.

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said...

I think it does Mady a disservice to brush her behavior off as just a teen.

This is not normal teenage behavior. Not this constantly and not to this extent.

There's a difference between normal teen angst, and what we have here something that goes much deeper.

Jumping In said...

My question is this: Would TFW take a television interview to defend herself against the Hoffman book and the NE article? Let's say she jumps at the chance, because that's just who she is, the master of deflection and denial.

If this does happen, she will pull the "I can't discuss this, as my lawyers are looking at this nonsense at this time, my kids know the truth and that's all that matters to the NINE of us"

She would then launch into the same old, same old....the kids really missed the crew and consider them family; I am a single mother of 8 doing the best I can.....And, whoever interviews her will let her push her phoney-baloney agenda without asking her to explain her nasty behaviour. This is her cycle, and there doesn't seem to be anyone capable of calling her out on her BS.

Does anyone think she will be offered a chance to discuss these recent, negative developments on television?

Really? A friend who "knows all about me"? As opposed to a friend who knows nothing about you? You abused those kids & dogs when you were alone with them. And you're a witch even when people are around. Nice try.

Only Kate would 'gift' 10yr olds something that will help them do their CHORES.. what a tool. LOL
Kate just sucks the life and fun out of everything....

"not THESE kids" ( in regard to crayola factory)...
'no grass stains!" (kids rolling down the hill)
'don't eat that' (cupcake-gate)
'no messes!" (everything).

I am sure the wifeswap was a sanitized version of her REAL manual.

OMG..is she running a Nazi camp over there?? You have to careful the way you walk?? Give me an effing break. She shouldn't be allowed to raise 8 human beings. My advise for those poor kids is to "keep your mouths shut, stay out of the way and GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE WHEN YOU'RE 18!!!!!!

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said...

I wonder if she ever worries that in an effort to control them she is just going to push them away. They WILL grow up and they will get a clue and most teens are not going to be okay with being treated like this.

Some of them are going to leave her and go live with Jon, it's inevitable. They'll take a more modest lifestyle to get away from her.

You're right Jon. She's an asshole and I'm sorry I was disappointed you said that.

Has anyone seen Tiny House? These people are awesome. F-U Kate.
