White Organza, I've got some new pics I need to upload. He is twice the size he was on March 13th when we picked him up at the mysterious truck stop. I've been using the excuse of his poor behavior on exposure to the unsavory's he likely encountered on his trip from Oklahoma! Just joking :P I do think he needs his own blog because the dog is cray and it's not all my fault or that's my excuse for the moment.
Franky, I tried the "ow" and unfortunately the sadist liked it and pounced and bit me harder lol. The vet tried it and the same thing happened and then he went into full on puppy meltdown. The vet had to hold him, facing outward, for three minutes until his tantrum ended. Then he ran underneath two chairs and wouldn't come out until he saw me with the treat pouch. I asked the vet if we could roofie him and he said he had none in the office and would have to go to the hood to acquire some, so it would cost me more. I told him I'd have to think about it. ;) I love this vet, so funny. I told him that I'm pretty sure he's possessed but when I did his monthly Advantix and separated the fur from the skin I saw no sign of the beast. Although I could not look into all the wrinkles. I also asked him how many gtts holy water per mL drinking water just in case. :)
Carrie, the pushing the snout down is a good idea. Unfortunately there's not much of a snout on this one but I did see the trainer using that technique during puppy class last week on a daschund pup last week with great results. Of course Rucifer behaves himself for the most part during puppy class, so his trainer doesn't see his normal tantrums.
Tucker's Mom, I was in tears yesterday as well. Since he's been a little monster the puppy gates have had to stay up to keep him off the geriatric boxer. That makes the housebreaking all that much more difficult. I've had dogs my entire life and it's never taken this much time to get one trained with the basic commands and housebroken. We're doing the puppy classes to socialize him (we'd never done it before) and am glad we decided to. He got wrestled to the ground last week by a gorgeous black lab pup - repeatedly - and I think the footage might be on YT ;) The trainer stopped it because it wasn't a good experience for Rucifer but I still thought it was funny and he sorta deserved it. ;) Anyway, I think you and I should start a support group or maybe we could just swap meds or I could share mine with you..or cocktail recipes ;)

It's pretty simple what has been going on for years. Kate substituted Steve for Jon. Steve is handsome, successful, does her bidding with no complaints, supports her ambitions, gets along with the kids, etc. Jon was a loser compared to Steve. Of course, there's that pesky matter that Steve is married and won't divorce his wife. I really think that is the case. Why would he? Does he want to be married to Kate with her issues and deal with someone else's eight children? Nope. He's playing her. I bet this guy has had other affairs. Some guys are just serial cheaters and their wives put up with it. What's different is that Kate is a public figure, people are figuring it out, and Kate is mentally unstable. Hmm. Not good. I agree with you as far as Steve is concerned. He very well could be a serial cheater and Gina just tolerates it or turns a blind eye.
I have always waffled about Steve and Kate being an item. In some ways I see it happening but then I wonder why would someone like Steve put up with Kate's issues? But I think you hit the nail on the head, he's playing her and he's getting a little on the side.
Kate must have to pay Steve for his "security" services (cough, cough), plus he probably is managing her career in some way, and to top it all off, he's probably playing footsies with her too. So he's making out on all points.
As for the kids, I always had the impression that Steve's attitude was "meh" when it came to the kids (from what I saw on the show). He really didn't interact with them and when he did it was very impersonal (like it should be with Kate-but it's not).

I wanted to mention that I've tried the "c" clamp-y thing that Cesar uses and that had the same effect as the "ow". He liked it and considered it a challenge. I've never had much luck with The Dog Whisperer's techniques but I know a lot of people have.
Back to TFW for a second. Is she wearing hair extensions? Because if she is, did they have to fry them in order to get them to look like her real overly processed hair? I do have to admit the pic at the top is a pretty good one of her. She must have had a fresh batch of fillers and Botox and is her bestie makeup artist in NYC with her? Unless she can keep enough dosh rolling in for maintenance, her cosmetic procedures are going to bite her in the ass. I've seen friends who started Botox mid thirties and had to stop. I think it wasting away their muscle underneath but can't be sure..anyway they now look so much older than if they'd left themselves alone. I'd rather keep a few pounds on and forego the botulism in a needle and fillers but that's just me.

It's amazing how puppies are like little kids, having tantrums, getting frustrated and then pouting.
They experience so much emotion and don't know what to do with it.
I just think back to my Bichon that passed last year, and it was around age 2 that I saw him mature, and really want to snuggle with me and be aware of other things, not just him.

It's especially silly when you can see from the pap photos there are abundant PA's all over the place to assist you. Plus hotel staff, plus NBC's own security and handlers.
From what we've read, sometimes contestants bring support staff sometimes they don't. Where I understand bringing your assistant is if you are juggling a lot of things at the same time. Joan Rivers, for one, has a dozen projects going on at once. Her career doesn't go on hold for six weeks while she goes MIA. An assistant can keep all the plates spinning while she's on CA. I don't consider that cheating if your assistant is only there to run the rest of your life while you do the show. They'd be doing the same thing at home anyway. I can also see why a contestant wouldn't want anyone there at all if they take a very "pure" look at the show and the rules.
But what does Kate have going on? A whole lotta nothing. Steve can't possibly be there to spin her 14 other plates, please. And that's probably what is irking the other contestants is that he seems far more like he's there for THIS project and not there to keep her other projects spinning.
Kelly - I know exactly what you're going through because my current bully was the puppy from hell (horrid, vile creature). Rudy and Spike may be related. As with yours the owwww didn't work because that was his queue to attack more. The ear flick doesn't hurt them as it's more to get their attention and then the noise was his command to stop. Maybe part of it was the finger pointing at him that he associated with his being naughty (I did have a tendancy to put my finger in his face and tap his nose and tell him "no, no, no" (with three taps). I don't need to use the tap any more becasue if I point he knows he's been naughty, and as I said the point along with the noise has become his trick.

Lisa, my post was just a guess but there are limited explanations as to what is going on between Kate and Steve. I cannot believe their relationship is completely innocent (with or without sex) because a normal man in a normal marriage with a normal career would not expose himself and his family to such public speculation and gossip rag exposure. You guys are right. He does not need the money. Therefore, their relationship has to be mutually beneficial. Handler, business partner, lover. One, both or all three, that is what it is and it's about to be exposed.
And, yes, having Steve gives Kate a sense of importance, that she is better than everyone else. No wonder she has riled up the other contestants. It is cheating because it gives her an advantage. I do hope Trump gives her the boot but he does love controversy, so as this is probably the last season of CA, I would not put it past him to declare Kate the winner. The tabloids will have a field day.

Yes. I also think she might do the same for him. Some men like the feeling that a woman is completely dependent on them. Needs them. Can't function without them. He may get off on it. Gina seems like a strong and independent woman. I doubt she's needy like Kate is. Kate may be fulfilling something in him he's not getting elsewhere.
I think his successful company actually supports the idea of something going on here. Why subject your family to such embarrassment if you don't need the money. Kate will be fine without him, she'll find someone else. If she truly cared about him and his family she would understand him leaving. There is no reason to stick around, so why doesn't he leave?
Oh, and this CA cheating accusation just confirms that Kate will do underhanded things to get ahead. Steve is her partner in crime. You can't tell me he isn't "advising" her on these projects. Also, on DWTS you don't get into an all out fight with your competition. You applaud them, you praise them, you good naturedly compete. I'm sure many of the contestants were pissed that she got the dance floor installed in her basement. Did they voice it?
On CA you go for the kill. You list your competitors' lack of effort, lack of skill, lack of commitment. I think the tabs are/will be quoting the other d-listers just to drum up the viewers, and all with production's blessing.
On DWTS you tow the "nice" line, on CA you tow the "cut throat" line.
I don't think DT will allow Kate to be the winner. The more intelligent people are the winners, though he will keep her around for the controversy.
In other news, the father if the Van Houten sextuplets in Michigan just passed away from a heart attack at 39. The kids are 10 years old and some have some serious physical challenges. Sad news.

Kelly - The best thing about bulldogs is that as they mature they (eventually) become the affable lazy lugs that we love. I know that it's not PC but we've always said that our current Spike is "special" and one of his nicknames is "Short Bus" (and he actually answers to it). When we had him in puppy class the instructors would always make excuses for him, "Oh he's young, he's a bulldog", etc. He did learn though.

Yes, you're not voting off the other contestants. That's up to the viewers and there's not much anyone can do to change that, so there's not as much incentive to insight feuds with the other contestants, it doesn't get you anywhere. If anything it makes you look bad.
On CA, it makes sense to be contentious. You're fighting for your life and you can convince Trump to fire someone else over yourself. If there is someone to gang up on, that person can be sacrificed up to convince Trump to fire, if need be. Conversely, if someone is targeting you, of course you're going to start getting pissed off. Trump always asks who should be fired and if Kate ever sad Brandi, she's done with her.

Your puppy stories crack me up. Our nine year old German Shepard was the puppy from hell. When I would correct him when he did something wrong, he would give me a face that resembled the gremlins. I was so stressed out that I lost 11 lbs. and my husband developed high blood pressure. He claims that was from me always telling him, "He's going back. I'm done!" He did tell me once that he would get rid of me before the dog. Umm, I wonder if he was serious? We enrolled him in puppy kindergarten and then basic obedience training and that helped. It took alot of tears and hard work but he's an absolute love. Wouldn't trade him for anything. Now, when we look back on how he was as a puppy, we just laugh. Kelly, hang in there. It will get better.

Resumes can be embellished and padded. I don't know if it's on there anymore, but at one time they 'implied' that Steve was providing security for Bill Clinton. Clinton, of course, has Secret Service agents, and more than likely, all Steve did was check out the event venue.
I can imagine it IS annoying to the others to have him around. Picture your workplace. Now picture one, and only one of your coworkers having a private secretary who follows them EVERYWHERE, even to the bathroom to make sure noone else comes in. That's for sure. CA is not the platform to prove how much everyone loves you. It brings out the ugly in people so Kate does have that going for her. If there is a lot of catfighting going on among the women DT is sure to keep them around for awhile. Omarosa was a passive aggressive bitch whom no one liked and he held on to her for nine or ten episodes. Playing nice doesn't cut it on CA. Cheryl Tiegs is the best example of that. It wasn't for her and she said so, so she was fired after the first project.
Kate NEEDS Steve there to hide behind. She has a big mouth when he's around but without him she'd collapse into a blubbering mass again like she did at the bottom of SkyJump.
You can bet Steve is not going anywhere. I am assuming that including him was part of her contract. Remember, Robert wrote in his book how Kate always insisted that Steve be included. I forgot to add that Nyla bones worked for our puppy as well as marrow bones. Once he dug out the marrow we would fill it with peanut butter. Another thing our vet recommended was gently putting him on his back in a submissive position and holding him there until he calmed down. That worked great until he got older. We could still put him in the submissive position and he would calm down no problem but when you let him up he saw that as a challenge and either go back to what he was doing or go after you and gnaw on you with those lovely razor sharp puppy teeth. A pant suit would have been the tip for that challenge, but heaven forbid!
And even if other contestants, past and present, with more complicated business lives, have had assistants visit them while doing CA to deal with said business details, I rather doubt any of them have been present 24/7 or lodged at the Trump Towers with the d-list talent. Ahhhhhhh Kelly! I completely forgot that we took him to day camp when he was a puppy so that he would be socialized. They put him with the small/medium sized dogs/puppies and that went a long way in teaching him proper manners and not to bite because the older dogs would give him corrections when he got too rambunctious. He still goes to day camp on our Fridays off and it's his happy place. When he knows it's his day to go he can hardly contain himself and he does not let us sleep in. The magic words for him are "nice boys poop at home and not at day camp". He'll go out and poop and then he's ready to go. The funny thing is that the counselors tell us that he never poops at day camp and they were surprised the one day that he did.
Re: pizzagate. While I agree with you if this is what happened, then I do blame Steve. But I got the feeling they didn't record his reaction; he wasn't seen eating the 'reserved' slice of pizza and he did seem fed up with Kate on the trip, too. He seemed to be acting in charge at times, trying to pacify her temper and to not fuss about what food to prepare or buy when Kate was going on about how to 'cut' lettuce or she wanted BBQ chicken.. IIRC!

Exactly. I'm sure every hotel has their own policy, but it has been my experience that if you know the name of the guest, the hotel operator will put you through to their room when you call. They won't tell you their room number, and they may not confirm that an individual is a guest at the hotel. But if you call and say, can you please connect me to Jane Doe's room, they usually will.
I think the only time this would not be the case is if the guest is a VIP or well known celeb, and/or has specifically left instruction that no calls be forwarded to their room.
I wouldn't count Brandi out as fired. Many times the celebrity is allowed to leave for a particular task if he/she has a prior commitment. It's not unusual. Judging by her more recent tweets, she's still in the game and still filming. She's be doing a book tour so maybe she had to go back for that. She wasn't out after the wedding dress task becasue she was pictured in the group for the shoe task. Terrell Owens was in the group picture for the wedding dress but missing for the shoes. I think she's still in it.

As I read through that whole messy situation, it seemed clear to me that Deen's brother (Bubba) was pretty disgusting and did mistreat employees. I think he's a classic hanger-on - without his sister to provide a restaurant for him to run, he'd not amount to much at all.
But it's disturbing to think that Deen didn't think it necessary to notify employees that they no longer had a job. Why wouldn't it occur to her or one of her advisors to have someone at the restaurant to at least explain what was going on? Not at all considerate - which is basically a continuation of the way employees were treated all along.
I know Deen is trying to rehab her image and it makes sense that she was told to get rid of her business connections with her brother. But couldn't she have done it while treating the employees with some consideration? Color me not impressed.

It would be absolutely delicious if DT was allowing Steve to be around during filming, so that he could then question Kate about it during a boardroom meeting or two. He loves to put the contestants in the hot seat. And he asks very pointed questions too.

I agree. It makes sense that many of the participants in CA over the years have had busy careers that they simply couldn't put on hold during the filming. Naturally, during breaks or off time, they would then spend time with their assistants or other staff members, dealing with their other affairs.
But that's not at all what is going on with Kate and Steve. First, she has nothing else going on. Second, he apparently is with her every second of the day. If Trump allowed it, he'd be sitting in the boardroom next to Kate and field all questions.

Most "real" celebrities use aliases when they register at a hotel. It could be the same name during each stay, or they may change it up when they get tired using one name (or get found out). If Justin Bieber checked into a hotel, he might use the name Matthew Moore. If a fan calls and asks for Justin Bieber's room, the hotel obviously isn't going to connect her to that room. However, if young Justin met a young female fan and wanted her to call his room, he'd tell her to ask for Matthew Moore's room, and the hotel would do so.
Obviously Steve didn't go the alias route and he registered under his actual name. With no "hold all calls" order, then yes, the hotel will connect a caller to that room, but not give the room number.

I currently own two cats, no dogs. But one of my sisters is the sort who always ends up with dogs that have been rejected, one way or another. Her first German Shepherd was an adult female who had been with a family for years. Once the kids grew up and moved out, the parents didn't want her anymore. Somehow, through a friend of a friend, someone asked if my sister would take her and she agreed. She's got a tender heart. Well, it was the beginning of a beautiful friendship. The dog was well behaved and extremely loyal to my sister and they had many happy years together. As is always the way, the dog finally had to be gently put down.
She meant to take a break from having any dogs, but her Fed Ex guy asked her to adopt his young German Shepherd because it was too rambunctious around his young kids. She took the dog in and oh mylanta! Rambunctious doesn't quite cover it. That dog chewed up everything, dug up the yard several times over, dug holes under the fence, and in short was quite a challenge. Always good natured, always meaning well, but a whole lot of work!
Took a number of years before this one finally calmed down and mellowed out somewhat. I do love German Shepherds. They are loyal, intelligent, lovely dogs. But sometimes, it's a test of endurance to make it through the first few years!

I was going to say the same thing Tucker's Mom. We've had a couple of restaurants close in our town and the employees found out when they went to work to find a locked door with a notice taped to it.
Horrid as they may start out we all do love our furry babies, don't we. It's kind of like of human kids. They can be horrid at times but they're ours so we love them anyway.

They've been in NYC for 3 1/2 weeks now(since Mar.19), and have been doing tasks(that we know of) since Mar. 24 so filming must be coming to an end. I'm sure they want to wrap up the filming before Easter.

Unfortunately, this is what it's come to. About 5 years ago a friend of mine fulfilled her dream of starting and running a restaurant. She severely underestimated how much time and expense it would take to run it, and after a year she decided to close. She thought she would be nice and let the staff know she was planning to close in a week. 3 waitstaff never showed up again and most of the rest were complete jerks, dumping salt in the food and hiding food and alcohol outside to come back and steal later. It was a mess. The only sane way to close a restaurant without inciting chaos is to do it without telling the employees. Cold as that is, the damage angry employees can cause is just as bad.

Exactly. I wouldn't be shocked if Kate actually tried to get Steve in the boardroom. Boardroom-type situations are exactly what Kate has spent the last 8 years avoiding, so I still can't believe she signed up for this. When she did get some brutal criticism on DWTS, she looked like she was going to go all Hulk on them.
It sounds to me that Steve is assisting her during the tasks, good for the other contestants for calling it what it is, cheating. Kate is not strong and independent, she is a spineless, weak, emotionally crippled woman who is unable to function without a babysitter. She better get used to more piecing and patching, because 2 1/2 years of unemployment still hasn't taught her anything. When she does get the rare job, she is as difficult as always, expecting the rules to be bent for her. I don't think so at all. There was been no evidence of any fired celebs sticking around to help on past seasons and in fact the ones still there work harder and longer to complete their tasks because of reduced team members.
I remember that Nene tweeted when she returned home and so did a model a few years ago but I can't remember her name right now. TBH, I never really paid any attention to CA during filming so there may have been more tweeting after being fired than I'm aware of.

Not necessarily. The tasks change in that they require different strengths/talents from the celebs. one week filming and media might be key to winning a task when the next week organization, writing and production skills might be needed. The celebs are also progressively more tired as the weeks go on so in that regard the tasks might seem more difficult. The celebs also are less tolerant of each other as time goes on making for some contentious boardrooms. lol

I think he'd be good. He's affable, has a nice camera presence, he's actually interested in other people, he seems to be up on current events. I bet he wouldn't even have to read his questions off a blue note card.
He wouldn't pepper every sentence with 80 um's, nor ask the interviewee if they know that he has 8 kids. He'd ask the interviewee pertinent questions and not sit there frozen like a lump on a log. And he would know enough not to talk about himself instead of asking the interviewee questions.
And he wouldn't require a 24/7 live-in bodyguard.
A few here have commented that in the past they have read and posted at GWOP. I went over there to check it out because I thought it was taken down some time ago. What's left is someone who copies and pastes tab articles in their entirety. Blowing in the Wind--Thank for posting that link. That's my boy, Billy. He does a lot of things like that all over Long Island. He'll also appear at fundraisers, etc. He's never had the "Look at me-I'm a star" attitude. He's just a regular guy who just happens to be famous.

BTW, I discovered that Brandi's youngest son's birthday is April 15 and perhaps she is flying out to LA for his birthday. Hence her tweet about being excited to get back to LA. She may have been given time off to go to LA for her son's birthday.

My eyes are really not that good on a small pc screen, but in the starcasm picture, is Steve behind Kate? Someone behind her has on a dark puffy jacket and carrying a brown back pack with a loose strap on his right shoulder. In a picture below, Steve is in a dark puffy jacket and a brown back pack with a loose strap on his right shoulder entering the hotel with Kate.

It could be Steve behind Kate, but it could be anyone - not nearly enough to go on. According to the captions, picture with "new guy" (and somebody behind Kate) was taken today (Thursday), while one of Steve was taken Tuesday.
I just checked TFW's twitter and the only one she's following is S. Johnson. She also follows The Donald but she's been following him for a while.
