I suppose I did feel sorry for Milo to a point because she has mental issues in addition to being just plain nuts. Now I realize that she's just a very stupid woman (or man). She's "supporting" someone who couldn't care less about her (or the sheeple) and uses them if the need arises. The fact that they are so gullible and in need of a bone to be thrown at them every now and then shows their maturity level and their total lack of critical thinking. These are adults. You're absolutely right Admin. If I were playing the game I'd want to get rid of my strongest competition as early as possible because as the tasks get harder you want a fall guy and TFW is that fall guy. Let's face it DT always keeps one or two dopes around just because he can. TFW doesn't even have anyone to tweet for donations and has to have Ted Gibson try to bring people in for her. The problem with donations is that if you're not the PM you don't want to tap your big money too soon because you want to save them for your task where their donations will benefit you and your charity.

I'm not sure where it happened, but I don't think anyone was suggesting he should be arrested. Regardless what state it is and what law you apply, 17 is still very young and he felt it warranted an apology.

Yes, exactly. On many occasions Trump and others have accused contestants of holding back on contacting their big donors because either they are not the PM so they're not going to give up their big guns to their PM, or they're saving them for later in the game when it really matters. If Ted Gibson is all Kate has got, she may have called on him far too soon. If she actually makes it further than this she may be tapped out.
I do enjoy this game I admit it because I do very much feel there is a lot of strategy to it and the big strategic players often do quite well. You can go in there and just work your ass off but if you actually have a plan you're going to make it easier on yourself to advance. Big strategic players include Marlee Matlin, Penn Teller and Clay Akin. I don't think Kate has much strategy in that noggin of hers but she might be being used as part of someone else's strategy, which could inadvertently benefit her. I am also starting to wonder if she'll work harder and better than ever before just because she loves all this attention and celebrity.
I do think she can work it's just a matter of her motivation. That's her problem, she wants something for nothing, she has no motivation. Celebrity is something that actually motivates her once in awhile. She won't get to the end, no way, but she may just manage to coast through to the middle somewhere, kind of like she did on DWTS.
You know who makes it the longest? The people who put their heads down and work their butts off. The people who don't care about how much camera time they get, but just want their team to win every time.
Uh oh. If that's the case, Kate should be fired in the next ... oh say ... hour or so.

We don't know if the "friend" that both Ted Gibson and Jason Backe referred to is Kate. They have many other celebrities as clients and they could be referring to any one of the women. He also has appeared on many talk shows, so the "friend" he is referring to may even be Leeza Gibbons.

I agree Admin. She's coasting through right now but won't make it to the end. I think the big mistake that CA is making right now is to much publicity. They've never had leaks in previous years like they're having this year. And that makes me wonder if they're trying to generate interest because the actual airing of the show may be in jeopardy. Remember, the show had been cancelled and than given an 11th hour reprieve. If that is their strategy it may just backfire because people will say, so what, who cares, we already know who won.

A sound strategy in Survivor as well. Get rid of the best players early before they can mess up your game too much. The rest can be picked off later as needed.
If a certain week it's just not working to take out a big gun, you go with one of the fall back weaker players. But if you pick off too many weaker players early you have nothing but stronger players to pick off later, which can be disastrous. Kate is perfect for a savvy player's game, string her along until necessary, picking off stronger players as much as you can first, then spring for the kill.

I'm trying to think if I've ever noticed another reality tv show/competition show where it was so covered by media- so far, we know each competition, but not who's eliminated-yet.
It's not going to be hard to figure out what CA was not present, or is not promoting on social media.
I personally feel it's less incentive to watch, but get that TPTB at CA want to keep it in the public eye and are generating publicity by shadowing the female contestants wherever they go, dressed in insanely revealing outfits, kabuki make up and impossibly high heels.

I saw this when Kate was trending yesterday and have in idea what it means. What weight loss plan?
Kate's no not one to be giving anyone diet advice as I think she borders on, or has, an eating/body image disorder and obsession.
Kate has commented on how little she actually eats, and should not be an example for anyone either feeding themselves or feeding kids, with her over-the-top portion control.
Maybe Kate's diet plan is to make herself disappear all together and I'm cool with that.

I virtually certain that's not in Robert's book.
His attitude seemed to be "whatever"- when it came to Jamie, and when it came to Steve, like "who knows, who cares".
There's been speculation about Jamie and Kate, but as far as I can tell, they are good friends that sort of act like they're in grade school.
Robert did clearly level the accusation that Jamie tried to seduce Jon and sent him topless photos- when he was married.
He insists she actually has the photos, so I tend to believe this happened, which blows my mind how any woman would keep a "friend" like this.
I have to think that Kate really did not care at that point, and that she did tell Jon that it was over, and to live his own life, just coming around for filming.
Women are territorial banshees with crap like that, and if a woman wants to put the moves on her man, she'd scratch out any woman's eyeballs who pulled a stunt like that.

Everytime I see that photo with TFWs gapping hole of a mouth (above) and look at the face the poor guy is making, I have but one thought: "Her breath really does stink as bad as it is rumored to". Someone for the love of all that is holy, please pass her some gum or at least a breath mint.
I think Milo actually said something truthful about Kate, those kids are a distraction, they are what's keeping Kate from moving to Hollywood and being the big star that she thinks she is.

If we are to believe their mom, their father is unsuitable, mediocre, and shouldn't even have an opinion on their care. And if we are to believe their mom, they don't see their aunts, uncles, or grandparents. And if we are to believe their mom, childcare costs are prohibitive x8 -- not to mention the almost impossible task of someone besides their supermom wrangling this unmanageable crew. And if we are to believe their mom, she doesn't like to hear from her children when she's away, and that no news is good news.
So who's taking care of these children for all these weeks? Not just corralling them like cattle, but attending to their emotional needs?
That picture of Brandi with her boys was so adorable. She had her hands on their necks in an affectionate way - not pressed down on their heads like she was a human GPS controlling their direction.
She has probably burned both her wedding dresses, LOL. Actually, TLC paid for the vow renewal one so I even wonder if she got to keep it. I think she will just be modeling a wedding gown that is for charity and you can BET there will be pap pictures leaked of her in it. She must be positively aglow with that possibility since that has been her desire to have a dating show. Oh, and Steve will be able to get a peek at what could be, LOL.
The CA tweets haven't been upfront anyway so far. No celebrity literally got a pie in the face, so it's all just word play. She may not even be modeling a gown, but oh what an opportunity to see those beach ball boobies in clingy gown.
This Milo is a piece of work. The defense of Kate on everything is just simply over the top. Sounds more like a mother defending an ungrateful child to me because the child's behavior reflects on the mother.

Well, the twitter announcements and the pap pictures prove that CA is allowing this publicity to drum up chatter. Must be sweating it about ratings. I posted this before that because of social media, CA has filmed alternate winners at the end so no one knows who actually won until show time. I wonder, though, how CA can keep it quiet as to who has been eliminated if they continue to announce everything publicly. Where's the drama to make people tune in? Is it already fixed? Scripted? I don't get what is going on.

When you think about how many times Kate has left them in the care of hired help, it's mind boggling.
I think you hit the nail on the head- the children's emotional needs can not possibly be met with the revolving door of caregivers. On top of that, anyone they've gotten close to is gone.
Judy was a favorite and a gem-gone.
Ashley and Carla- amazing women, especially that Ashley! Gone.
Aunts, uncles and maternal grandparents- gone.
Coming home from school with my mom there, or just her coming home from work and making dinner was a constant in my life.

Tucker's mom, I used to post on GWOP and I have memory of that video discussion, but I never believed the lesbian rumors anyway.
Frankly, I would not be surprised if such photos of Jamie exist that Kate put her up to it because Jamie is a follower and Kate is a manipulator. So here's the question: why in earth would someone not delete those photos? Why keep them? Makes you wonder.
Psychologists have said when you give children a revolving door of nannies they can build up very serious trust issues and bonding issues. They learn not to trust or get too close to their caregiver because at any moment she could be gone. Sometimes this extends beyond just their nannies and they start to get very distrustful of anyone. Because if the nanny can go at any time, why couldn't mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, friends or other relatives go at any time? This is, obviously, common sense too.
I do hope that the children are spending lots of time with Jon. When he can't be with them, I hope they are with a nanny they know and trust and have a good relationship with. It breaks my heart to think they have no one to bond with and be close with all these weeks while she is off turning the world on with her smile and living the lavish lifestyle they gave her.

I kind of get what you're saying but why would kate tell the brides-to-be not to marry the wedding gown models? I don't think they'll be there with the expectation of marrying one of the models.
Jon has been speaking up lately about the kids and his relationship with them, and Kate herself. I'm sort of surprised he hasn't made any comments on CA and the effect on the kids if they are with other caregivers.. If they are with him- I sort of doubt it- maybe he wouldn't though.He has said Kate is free to do what she likes if it doesn't harm the kids, and he listed what has hurt them like the Today show and the special, their isolation, and that he was going to try for custody.
It's possible Kate could have proposed a truce, giving him right of first refusal the entire time she is gone the whole month plus, per the order. Usually when people are quiet, no news is good news.
Things have been busy in real life. I have been catching up with Dancing With The Stars, where Saint Tony Dovolani of the Ballroom is paired with NeNe Leakes from Real Housewives of someplace. NeNe is a firecracker and hard worker. And the dance they did Monday had Saint Tony without a shirt! YUM!
DWTS has some interesting contestants. And amazing race and Survivor are REALLY good. This season of Survivor is shaping up as one of the best so

I wonder if CA purposely uses social media to drum up interest and to keep the public guessing who's been eliminated. So far, only 3 of the celebs--Keshia, Gilbert, and Jamie-have not tweeted about today's event, but have they really been eliminated? Or were they told not to tweet to give the impression that they were eliminated?
For all we know, ALL the celebs may participate in every task, and then it's later edited to imply that they didn't take part because they were "fired".
When the show is finally aired, the tasks may not even be shown in the order that they are being filmed and the boardroom episodes may even be filmed after ALL the tasks have been completed.
It's Reality TV, so anything is possible in how the show is edited.

You make some good points Kate is a twit but I don't see how they can edit out people who are participating in a task. Each team's brainstorming usually goes on in one room and I don't see how they could edit anyone out of a group scene when they're all sitting around yapping. I do agree that they may not show the scenes in the order filmed though.
Admin, you suggested that the show may have jumped the shark because they're recycling the wedding gown task but I think it jumped the shark when they had Gary Busey and Meatloaf on. Gary was just full on crazy and Meatloaf's meltdown over art supplies was nuts. They were both kept on way past their shelf life.

She'll never go back to her natural brown. I think she's growing it for the ombré look that is so popular now with celebrity hair. Or, it 's so damaged she needs to lay off the chemicals, LOL. Yeah Ted, Kate's hair is a great sample of your work (snark). And there's no healthy shine to her hair either. Not good.

TFW is too stoop shouldered for that dress. To be able to pull off something like that you really need to stand up straight, shoulders back, chest out. Well her chest is out but her shoulders aren't back. IDK if it's just the lighting or what but she looks like she's developing a dowager's hump. She's always had bad posture and her poor eating habits may lead to early osteoporosis. I'd worry more about that than about getting everything nipped and tucked.
I bet Kate has lots of gray hair now, as people with that color hair often gray early. So guess she is done with her natural color period.

I too noticed Tony looks particularly buff- it's got to be harder and harder, pushing your body like that year after year.

Here's my thinking, so please don't shoot me. Kate was born at just the right time. When she came of age, so to speak, reality TV was in its infancy. The genre exploded. She had all the right stuff come together at the perfect time. She was kind of cute with her cute Asian husband. She had twins and sextuplets, a contentious at best relationship with her husband and she was the biggest control freak ever. Then she had the worst reality tv network get a catchy name and she was off to the races and we all saw her blow up into the worst mother ever. But by then she had found her niche and she is right where she needs to be to be on all these shows and magazines. It's enough to keep her face out there and her income flowing. She is going nowhere. She will be in the spotlight until she dies. And you know, as much as I have wanted to see her crushed and gone, it doesn't bother me any more. It's funny, but I just one day stopped caring because I realized she is miserable except when a camera is in her face. And the rest of the world watches or reads about her now to trash her. The world truly sees her for what she is. If everyone would now just leave Milo and her 6 pack of fans alone on Twitter her TL would die off.
IMO, reality is one of the worst plagues ever, because it has introduced the most narcissistic, nasty, talentless people to us. They all have huge egos and try to outdo each other in behaving badly. What a messed up world when people act their very worst in the spotlight.
Funny how she NEVER looks this happy when she with her kids. This is the most attention she has had in years, and it is all about her, her, her. However, like Cinderella, the ball will end and even KG will return to PA in her pumpkin. There is no media Prince Charming out there. Glad they found a wedding dress with a good bra.

I think that may be Robert's way of letting Kate know that he's still around, and hasn't completely disappeared like she hopes he would.
Her hair is way too long for her age with these extensions IMO. Also the color-so fake. She is trying to be someone she never will be. She also will never be happy or satisfied or say 'enough' to anything.
I wonder if Kate knows that some weight loss site is using her name to promote their product. I think the same site is using the names of rumored or real celebs that are on CA to get hits.

As long as a camera is in her face, this reality tv train wreck will keep on rolling. And rolling. Piecing and patching is really what her career is, it is just only, and always, about her. And the worst part: you get rewarded for behaving badly. How many shows are out there that reward people for, 1) having too many kids 2) can't run their business 3) are in a financial mess of their own making 4) can't/won't learn how to dress their own bodies 5) have a house that is a cluttered mess 6) have unruly kids and don't know how to parent 7) are the brides from hell 8) have no idea which end of a screwdriver to hammer with...
The list goes on. They may be laughingstocks at the water cooler on Mondays, but they get their 15 minutes and financial compensation.

Not sure what Kate has to do with the advertising that Ted Gibson is doing other than she's the model for the wedding dress. Gibson is giving free beauty and hair consultations, salons do that all the time; if they sell some product during that consultation customer has to pay tax. I've seen such wording at the bottom of ads forever. How is that Kate's thing?
I think Kate looks good.
Finally, a little volume to her hair, with that slight frizz/dirty hair look instead of the keratinized, flat ironed look that draws her longish face into SJP territory.
I also think the dress is a good pick. Sure, she loves her feathers, but I would have laughed if she had a full on Cinderella ball gown on.
No "Persian" eye, no red lip, much, much better.
And, finally and most importantly, she's in her absolute glory- the center of attention.
I hope she can maintain the same level of joy when she has to go back to PA.

Kylie, I think without realizing it you are describing Malcolm Gladwell's theory, which we've mentioned before and I think absolutely applies to this situation.
Gladwell proposes that a huge part of whether you will be successful in a certain "sudden" industry, like computers or trains or cars, is based on when you are born. If you are born too early before your industry hits its prime, you will be too old to have the spark and youth to take advantage. If you are born too late, you will have missed the boat and a bunch of other guys and girls already got in.
This is Kate. She had her multiples at just the right time. America was interested in multiples and what's more they were interested in reality T.V. shows about families.
Born too early, like the Dilleys, and reality TV wasn't really a thing yet. At most she would have gotten a yearly Diane Sawyer update. Born too late, like the dozens of other HOM multiples born each year, and now America is "over" it like we get over things fast.
She had those kids at that magic time, 2004. This entire thing has just been one excellent stroke of luck. Add to it the somewhat interesting dynamic of a shrew and her doormat husband, and she's TV gold.
So where are the others on her team? Is it just her job to stand around in a wedding dress while the others attend to the paying customers?

Not the most flattering style for her body type and if you enlarge the picture that may just be the implant scar. We've seen it before but it was never quite so prominent looking as it is in this picture. I wonder if S. Johnson is the PM. TFW will continue to have opportunities like this pop up for her but she'll never be A list and she will never quite achieve the level of fame that she thinks she deserves. I am pretty blessed that this happened to me in my career.
My profession in healthcare exploded when I was in college.
When I graduated, jobs were waiting for me and it became much more competitive to get into programs, and required higher levels of education.
Bobbi McCaughey's septuplets were a bit too early- I don't think they would have exploded the way J+K did.

I didn't experience Malcolm Gladwell in my career because I graduated during the recession and it was hard to find a job (I got lucky), but I think I experienced a bit of Malcolm Gladwell with this blog. Blogging really kind of took off and I became interested in it at about the exact same time Jon and Kate was on and I was watching. I wasn't completely happy with other Gosselin blog offerings so I started my own. You fine people showed up and the rest is history! Thanks Malcolm Gladwell. Aw, I like SJP! I think she's a great actress ( from childhood), a philanthropist, seems very gracious and well-spoken. I saw a clip of her being interviewed in her NYC home and she was very down-to-earth. I think she has made the most of her looks her whole life- I know she has had some procedures, like a huge mole removal, but I think she's true to herself. Yeah they could have a completely different strategy that doesn't involve the tired and unoriginal pimp our fading celebrities out and hope that gets people in the door.
Just hypothetically, the other team could have focused more on calling their big donor friends to buy and just quietly worked the phones. Or, they could have tried to find some business or person who would be interested in a bulk buy. Even better, they could have tried to tap into or partner with other groups or events that cater to brides to be and try to get their hands on their client base. These sort of more creative strategies often win. The obvious doesn't always work.
I think for this one I'd go with a more targeted strategy. The odds that most people walking by the celebrity you've stuck out there have the slightest interest in a wedding dress are slim to none. You have to target the right people. You have got to get BRIDES TO BE through the door. That is a very tiny segment of the population. "Come an' get your popcorn!" with a bullhorn on the street ain't gonna work.

I was looking at another picture, and there is a line to the left of her right armpit, just off to the side of her boob. Is that an implant scar or just a shadow? I'm missing something here. What does the weather have to do with a bridal gown? Brides get married in all kinds of weather and wear strapless dresses in the winter. It's kind of hard to find a winter wedding gown with high neck and long sleeves! I've watched Say Yes To The Dress, and while some brides opt for short gowns, that one would be a nice reception dress for some brides who purchase one dress for a ceremony and one for the reception. Personally, I think that's a huge waste of money, but it does seem to be the trend now, along with candy and mashed potato bars, themed wedding and picture booths and signature cocktails.
If she were a normal person she might indeed find being primped/pimped up to sell something on a street corner on the humiliation scale. But there are cameras taking her picture! Look, I'm a STAH. But her face gives her away. It's not all fun and games. She looks silly and cold, in a dress nobody her age should wear to a wedding, second, third or otherwise. After looking at the pictures on ROL, I think among the few true words she has ever spoken were on the filmed shopping trip with Jon, when she said she has no idea how to dress.

It looks like she's got the beginning of dowager's hump. She's always had poor posture and with what seems to be a vey poor diet she's a prime candidate for early osteoporosis. It may be hereditary like her eye and off center tooth so there may be nothing that she can do about it (but she could dress to hide it and and wear one of those braces that force you to stand straighter but are undetectable under your clothes).
Fleecing: true...point taken. Surprising though that she had ALL of her natural looks altered and the one defect she has she did not get fixed...and I know people who have that eye problem and it can be fixed. She just looked tired and washed out and all her smiles look forced.

The wonky eye is probably something that would be risky to address surgically, but it seems like at this point, she knows enough about make up and lighting to help hide it.

In that close-up of the ring photo on ROL you can see the goosebumps on her arms. I hope she had to be outside and uncomfortable for a long time.
Am I the only one who thinks that she really doesn't look that bad in the photos? I've seen her look much worse. She doesn't have her face cemented with makeup, her hair is conservatively done, and she doesn't at all look hookerish.
However, the toes hanging out over the shoes would drive me nuts, but I guess you get used to it.
I'm waiting for a cop to come along and say, "Not on my beat sister...now move on".

Not such a flattering set of pics. The smooth and shiny forehead is not believable. The stilettos give her wrinkled knees. And only when she is smiling full on for the camera does she look happy. You cannot buy class. And you cannot project beauty when you are ugly and cold inside. That is what those pictures say to me. Maybe we will all get lucky and this season of CA ends up in the trashcan before it gets aired.
Fleecing - That looks like it may be the implant incision area. We've seen it and questioned it before it just seems to be more evident today. They do the under arm incision to keep from scarring the breast when placing the implant. Yes, I watched a couple of episodes of Dr. 90210.

Your looking at the outline of her upper trapezius as it coalesces with Kate's very rounded shoulders.
This is a common postural problem with many women- rounded shoulders with a forwardly positioned head.
With her breast enhancement and resulting added weight attached to her chest, she needs to be focusing on strengthening her postural muscles because given a few more years (and yes, possible bone density loss), she will be feeling pain from the added strain.

Well, saw the pic, it looks like a prom dress, it looks terrible on her, and in the pic of her showing the ring on her finger, you can see the goose bumps, Kate was freezing her ass outside, in fact a couple of the pics, Kate looks like she is freezing. I think it's a shadow or fold of skin because of the way she's holding her arm. If that is an implant scar her surgeon should have his license revoked. No, implant scars are much more discrete than that and are placed farther down on the body at breast level IF they're even put in on the side of the body. Many are inserted @ nipple and some inserted where the breast meets the body on the underside.

In the full length pictures, what is wrong with her knees? It looks like she has large lumps below both of them..is that from the lipo suction I wonder? And she has bruises on her right leg, or are those veins? I don't remember seeing those lumps when they used to show pictures of her jogging.
