'Real Housewife' Teresa Giudice charged with tax fraud

Teresa and Joe Giudice's troubles with the IRS are truly unbelievable. The 39 count indictment is a train wreck to read. Although much of their blatant dirty deeds happened before Teresa ever signed on with Bravo, there are some interesting tidbits about Teresa's role on the popular Real Housewives of New Jersey. Notably, the compensation is much lower compared to reality T.V. top figures that used to be reported just a few years ago.

  • Between June 2008 and October 2009, Teresa made approximately $110,000 between her reality show, appearances and her web site.
  • In 2009 Teresa and Joe signed on for Season 2 of Real Housewives at $110,000 for the season. This amounts to about $6,000 an episode.
  • The IRS is ticked that Teresa didn't disclose expected future income when she filed for bankruptcy in 2009. They allege she only disclosed her Bravo salary and did not disclose any other income from other sources such as her business and web site. She specifically told them, under oath, that her web site was not generating any income, when the IRS alleges in fact it was.
  • The IRS is also ticked that Teresa didn't disclose the true income from her many other business ventures.
  • The IRS is really, really ticked at this couple.
Teresa Giudice, middle
Teresa and Joe could face up to 30 years in prison. Their passports have been confiscated and Joe faces possible deportation to Italy if convicted.

Over in TFW's County,
I think I was typing when you posted your chili results! Sounds like your family's reaction was about the same as mine. We ended up ordering pizza, too.
If the G kids gave this an 8 rating, then I have to wonder what the rest of her cooking tastes like. Do they really think this is good? Perhaps that's why TFMJG packs their lunches--she doesn't want them to know what anyone else's cooking tastes like. If they did, then they might realize what a crappy cook she is.
So, far, posters have tested the chili and the hummus recipes. Both were crappy.
I can't wait to hear how the stir fry turns out. Veggies and soy sauce? No way. Most Asian sauces have several ingredients mixed together. Using mainly soy sauce would result in a sauce that completely lacks complexity. I won't be trying it. My family has been tormented enough for now.

TFW probably had a salad and the eight prabbly got a half spoonful-(tiny portion control).

And if they rated it a 9/10 TPCM-(the portion controlling mother) probably gave them seconds.

Fido I've never been into casseroles much either. I never bought a crock pot because there are so little I would want to put in it. I tend to prefer salads with a protein and a separate veggie and starch. I don't consider pasta bakes the same thing because it's usually just pasta, cheese and sauce. Too basic to be a turnoff. I don't see nearly as many casseroles anymore as I did growing up and they are almost gone from most menus. That's another problem with the crockbook, her cooking style is something people are turning away from now. The focus now is on healthy, no cans, and fresh/farmer's market/organic. Permitter of the store recipes. The trend is not so much what can I throw into a pot from the canned goods aisle with a little of this little of that and stir. In fact, Campbell's soup sales have been falling at an alarming rate the past several years. People's eating habits have evolved and it's a good thing.

I think unfortunately I associate casseroles, wrongly, with things like really salty cream of mushroom soup based dishes and MUSH. It's not appealing to me either. I just recently stated dipping my toe back into it. I am more comfortable with it now because I realized I can control what goes in and that it doesn't have to be mushy. Relying on vegetable or chicken stock and fresh ingredients instead of the staples of church potlucks has been a better experience for me. I do a chicken and dumplings I like, a couple soups, various pasta bakes, a really nice chicken and sweet potato bake, and a veggie chili. Most of them you just have to add a nice piece of toasted bread on the side and that's enough to get your crunch. I was happy with them and now I'm rethinking the crockpot!

My mother loved hers and used them for cooking her tomato butter and chili sauce. Now that stuff was good! Anyway, when she died my father told me to take her 2 crock pots....and they went into my free yard sale the following summer. More happy people.

Well, sort of. Comments were that it was too soupy and slimy. They are used to chili that has more bounce for the ounce, thicker consistency. One said it had no flavor, while another comment was that it tasted synthetic (no idea what that means) and commercial...like it came from a food service that prepares meals for airlines!

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said...

Marie we are having a beautiful unusually cool summer too. It's been 70's and low 80's most of the time except for one week of nasty heat in June. We're supposed to get a couple days of rain this week which is unheard of but actually sounds wonderful right now. I've been in the kitchen way more than I ever usually am in the summer. I was cooking all this weekend and even though I don't bake much I think I'm going to do some baking this weekend. ANOTHER mild weekend coming up, yea!

One thing I really love about cooking is saving money. Many restaurant dishes IMO are overpriced and easy to make at home. Sandwiches are a scam. There are very few sandwiches you buy for 7 bucks you can't make at home for 2-3 even with artisan bread. I like seeing all the money we saved because we stayed in and cooked a nice meal. And with that saved money I can buy new, different and high quality ingredients. I like the challenge of thinking of a favorite restaurant dish then trying it at home and I like the fun of money saved. Some work some don't. Some are worse, some are BETTER--that's the fun of it.

I believe Dwindle was indeed the crockpot queen!

This is getting embarrassing. It would cost next to nothing for TLC to make an update special if they just did an "around the home" thing and not a trip. They could have followed TFW on her crookbook journey. Watching her tap it all out on her fifth pink iphone would be fascinating.

While I don't make a lot of cassaroles either, there is nothing that can beat a delicious homemade lasagna (and I think that qualifies as a cassarole). I also love my crockpot and use it at least once a week, but usually I put a roast in it, covered in picante sauce. Or I will cook two large chicken breasts with the same topping. Then I shred up the beef/chicken and make tacos, chicken salad, or simply shredded beef on a sour dough roll, with lots of fresh toppings. (pickles, avocados, sliced tomatoes, lettuce, onion - oh the list is up to you, but it's yummy)

This helps me keep my grocery budget under control, and saves me time cooking after a long day at work.

But TFW's cooking and recipes sound pretty dreadful.

How long have the Little Couple and Matt and Amy gone without an update special post their TV series?
2 years is a long time, especially when kids change so quickly, physically at least.
I agree that Kate's own words may be the reason that TLC won't touch her again. Robert's book revealed how entitled the show made her and how spoiled and demanding she was. Kobe beef, bonuses for no reason (carrots to get her to film with the least amount of difficulty?) that she actually pouted about!, using the TV show to get unimaginable freebie deals and big time paychecks on the side that were intentionally hidden for the viewers to perpetuate the image of a struggling family...
The the revelation of Kate's journals, the jig is up. She was making money and deals hand over fist, so what exactly is the premise of another show? A struggling "single mom"?
Actually, the premise of K+8 became how hard she was to deal with and the kids were kind of superfluous.

I've defended Kate's casseroles before because they are hard to get to look "purdy" with a camera, basically because the ingredients cook and blend together, and you can't "compose" the food on the plate very well.
But, that photo of the shiny, monotone stew with pasta shapes (what, are the kids 3?) and frozen vegetable medley was really gross looking. I would never has posted it, especially if I had cookbook machinations.

I think Table of twelve was canceled, cause of the following, no drama, no conflict, no hissy fits, too tame, too lame etc. I liked the show. It was 100% better than JK8 could ever be. And they had more kids, and a handycap child, Dad worked as a cop, and mom was stay at home. Never saw her pick on her husband, or scream at kids, or throw a hissy fit. They were very normal, average, mediocre, mundane, family. Very refreshing.

They are showing reruns of Table For Twelve. I caught part of the show yesterday and thought...wow...what a difference between that family and the Gosselin show. What happened to Table For Twelve...did the family end the show, or did TLC cancel it?
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

According to the Table for 12 Wiki page, TLC cancelled it. Seeing as Kate became filled with Exorcist-like rage at the mere suggestion of competition HOM shows, one has to wonder.......... The Hayes show debuted just a few months before Kate's triumphant 9 mil viewer divorce exploitation show. Robert mentioned in the book that Betty called Kate and Kate was apalled. Could she have put her stiletto-clad Flintstone foot down and demanded TLC cancel the show? After all, the Hayes have TWO set of twins and sextuplets, one of the tups is severly disabled. In just a few episodes, the Hayes completely dispelled the bill of goods Kate worked so hard to sell America. The Hayes didn't have a staff, they took the kids out in public, they didn't rule with an iron fist, the kids participated in many sports and activities. While the community helped them with enlarging their house, the Dad had a normal job and they seemed to get by just fine. If you think about how mad Kate was by Jodi making her look bad, you have to imagine the Hayes drove her insane. Things that make you go hmmmmmmmm...

Are the Hayes family happy in their post-reality show life? That's not something we can say about SAM. (New acronym for TFW - 'Smoke and Mirrors')
SAM will NEVER be happy again until she returns to glory.

Food is notoriously hard to photograph, making a dish look mouth-watering and appealing it must be pretty. Putting overflowing brown slop on a plate beside a heaping pile of frozen vegetables with rubbery pasta shapes is far from pretty.

TFW has a cookbook to flog, and she puts a picture out like THAT? Not only is there nothing appealing about it, she didn't even have the good sense to put the slop in the centre of the plate, it is overflowing and haphazardly displayed. My goodness, she has no connectivity whatsoever. Pending cookbook, promote it with a picture of slop. DUH.

Sigh. Milo just doesn't get it. Having a cooking show would require TFW to actually work. Research, pre-production, physical effort to demonstrate the preparation of the dish. Not to mention, giving witty and informative commentary throughout, something TFW can't ummmm, do... uhhh very.... um well.

If TFW had some kind of talent and charisma, she would be working. Period. End of story. It wouldn't matter what her detractors said or did. If it makes the sheep feel better to tell themselves that we are the reason that TFW isn't working... whatever. More power to them. Do what you need to do, ewes. Show biz is all about money. If TFW could generate money, it wouldn't matter if there were 100 non-fan blogs.

Just watched a clip of the Hayes show (I never saw it when it ran on TLC - I was multiples out by then due to Jon & Kate's show). Wow, what an amazing difference! They had sent the mom out of the house for some alone time, as it was her birthday, and dad was making spaghetti for the kids for dinner.

Hmmm...the kids were five at the time and dad had no problem putting Ragu spaghetti sauce in a pan, letting each child have a turn stirring the pot, putting food in every child's bowl and then letting the children carry their bowls to the dining room table, where they sat in adult sized chairs, and ate their food. Some of them ate with their fingers. Most had spaghetti sauce all over their face. The kitchen had dishes in the sink afterwards.

That looked like dinner at my house. That was relatable. Kate's show? Not even close.

Most people grow and change and interests change over time and the newest fad or celebrity or sport or boyfriend or college or whatever will be more fascinating. Little kids do not stay little forever, cuter little kids will come along.
I like to spend time with actual cute little kids I am related to. Other peoples kids, not really interested.
Even reality TV has so many characters these days. Want to see obnoxious people talking disrespectfully to each other? Watch Big Brother! Want to watch a country guy be a fish out of water in the city? Watch Swamp Guy. And so on.

Interesting article in this morning's paper written by psychotherapist Michael Pond

Describes The F Wit perfectly....

http://www.vancouversun.com/health/Professional+Help/8752238/story.html

"A Narcissistic Personality Disorder diagnosis must meet at least five of the following criteria:

Feel grandiose and self-important

Be obsessed with fantasies of unlimited success, fame, power

Be firmly convinced that he or she is unique and special

Require excessive admiration, adulation and attention

Feel entitled

Use others to achieve his or her own ends

Be devoid of empathy

Be constantly envious of others

Feel superior, omnipotent, omniscient and invincible, immune, above the law

Rage when frustrated, contradicted, or confronted by people he or she considers inferior

I view narcissism on a spectrum. On one end is the individual who may have a couple of the traits, such as grandiosity and the need for adulation. At the other end is the Narcissistic Personality Disorder. This individual possesses many or all of the criteria. It is pathological, insidious, destructive and destroys relationships. "

I really enjoyed "Table For Twelve" when it was on. I believe Betty Hayes said in an interview that TLC cancelled their show because they were too boring and "normal". I was always impressed with the way they matter-of-factly included Rebecca (the handicapped child) in everything they did without any fuss or drama or "look at us, aren't we great to do this" type of way. Can you imagine the dramatics from TFMJG if one of her children were that severely limited? They took their kids on outings to some of the places the Gs went, but no parks were shut down and no special concessions were made for them, except one time they were taken behind the scenes so that Rebecca could pet some of the animals. And it was OFFERED to them, they didn't demand it. When they went places, some of the kids' friends and/or cousins were included in the group. The kids were treated as individuals, not a pack. One of the little boys was a bit backward about participating in some of the activities, and they just let him go at his own pace, no pressure and no hysterics. I really liked that family.

I think the Hayes were very lucky to have their show cancelled after one season. I'm sure the money came in handy, and with only doing one season, they seem to have survived intact. I truly believe participating in a reality tv show (family, with children) is a sure recipe for heartache, upheaval, and dissolution of the family.

The Hayes were nice people, through and through. They were, indeed, too normal and boring, for tv. Thank goodness!! I would be sad if they had continued on tv and been forced into the cookie cutter television exec producer's idea of "what a hip mom looks like," "what a hapless dad does," etc.

If Kate had anything to do with the show's cancellation, that was probably the one truly good deed she's ever done. Completely unintentionally of course :)

It's sad to think that no matter how bad TFMJG's recipes are, her fans will rave over them and praise them. They're so blind in their adoration of her that they cannot see (or taste) objectively. They will subject their poor families to those crappy recipes over and over again. They'll cook everything in that book, and be so thrilled that they're eating the same things that their idol eats that nobody else's opinion will matter.

I wonder if they understand that they can "support" TFMJG without gushing over everything she does. A good friend will tell you when you are screwing up. The fans gush over her and tell her everything she does is wonderful, but they're not helping her. She keeps failing, and the yes-men (women) she surrounds herself with aren't objective enough to see what she is doing wrong. As a result, she can't change those things about herself that make her so unlikeable. She really needs someone to sit her down and give her some good constructive criticism, but I think she is so far gone that she won't tolerate it. She's too far gone by now, and her fans assuring her that she never does anything wrong is not helping her.

I'm writing an article about Kate Gosselin. It's not helping my nausea.

Here is the article. The only thing she got wrong was that she wrote that TFW made appearances on Twist of Kate. We all know that show never came to fruition.

http://moms.mylifetime.com/celebrity-moms/is-kate-gosselin-using-her-kids-to-seem-more-likeable?

Here's an excerpt:

"So far the K8's Kids page only contains photography from her 12-year-old daughter Mady and the pictures of herself and her siblings are basically what you’d expect from a kid that age. But I have to wonder why they're even there if not to gain goodwill with the public. Kate seems to go through phases of not wanting her kids exposed, then she sends out pictures of them herself. So is this just another sad attempt to bring some cuteness to her image? Considering that her website currently includes an advice column and a cringe-inducing page “written” by their dog, I’d say maybe.

Of course it’s possible that Mady herself asked to put her photos on the blog because she’s a 12-year-old girl and no doubt likes attention. But maybe that’s when her mother should have stepped in. And told her that, believe it or not, it's possible to live your life in private---even when your mother is Kate Gosselin."

Good for that mother!
Vocal Fry is when usually a girl uses a really gravely/rattling voice at the end of sentences. Think Kim Kardasian. It's the new Valley Girl Speak.
It's very nasal and doesn't use the vocal chords correctly because it's really just a learned ability to glottal stop on and off quickly.

@msgoody2shoes21 @The_Stir @Kateplusmy8 OMgoodness...so very true! Bottom line a cheater destroys the oneness he vowed 2protect! #LowClass

I remember when Milo tweeted TFW a saying from Dr. Seuss, and included the hashtag #WiseMan, referring to Seuss. She quoted him a few other times too. She must have deleted that tweet, because I can't find it now.

Does she know that Dr. Seuss actually cheated on his wife with a married woman, who later because his second wife? Yet, she called him a Wise Man.

I guess if she uses Seuss' quotes to tweet Kate, in her mind, he's forgiven for being a "cheater". But Jon will always be a "cheater" in her mind.

It almost makes me glad I don't live in a small town in the middle of nowhere.

Just like the cruises, Titanic and Poseidon and all the rest, I rather go out on a boat cruise on the lake.

Can you explain further? 'Cause you said you'd rather not live in a small town and then go on and say you WOULD rather take a small boat cruise?

Isn't that a contradiction?

You just have to wonder why these fans can't see that these are not the people you want to be hanging with. You are known by the company you keep. I guess being a BV groupie is the "in" thing among the fans right now. They think that if Kate considers those people her buddies, her friends, then they'll hop on the bandwagon and join the #superfun. Kate can't be wrong with the internet friends she chooses, can she?

TFW herself told Hailey that Jon never cheated and was even willing to clear Jon's name if Hailey would just go along with her scheming plan. She herself admits the marriage was done ages before any of this ever happened. I'm pretty sure it was Jon's interview where he talked about how far back in time the termination of that relationship goes.

Sometimes I think TFW's life must be some kind of parody. Then I realize she really is this deranged.

Hoosier I agree. I think this is the best description of TFW out there other than narcissist.

Delicious??? Really TFW??? This from a 37 year old woman?? A teenager would get excited about a little tit for tat they perceive they've "won." Methinks BV did alot of blustering and bloviating before finding out how dirty the sheeple's hooves actually were. It appears he went in thinking these were poor, put upon fans who just wanted to peacefully worship Kate. Not so much. Some of them gave as good or better then they got. When the non fans abandoned TFWs TL for a while, the sheeple practically begged them to come back.

His claims of a lawsuit against Robert and Jon were a head scratcher as well. It seems like Robert's book already went through a heavy legal workout last year before it was released. We could still be surprised and a suit could still come forth, but I'm thinking this whole Radar Hailey/texts/lawsuit thing was a ruse to give Kate some publicity and damage control while she was launching her crookbook pre sale.

Parts of The Lovely Bones were also filmed here in Chester County (the book was also loosely set here with town names jumbled up a little but many landmarks true to life)

Assuming they are following the prescribed schedule and the younger kids are with Jon.....while I don't begrudge the twins any choice they want to make at this age, it sure seems like Kate goes over the top to reward them for not going to stay with Jon.

It has the air of bribery, frankly. Parental alienators often save their best, brightest, most over the top gifts and treatment for situations like this when kids opt out of seeing the other parent. They "reward" the alienation and reenforce the behavior. Instead, Kate should be encouraging a healthy and normal relationship with their father. How many people sit on the therapy couch in adulthood with daddy issues? Wouldn't a normal mother feel guilty for contributing to that? Of course the twins would rather opt out of seeing Jon if they get the whole house to themselves, a midnight pool party with all the friends they want, junk food and extra special over the top treatment from their mother.

Ok now therein lies the difference between a real mommy blogger and a poser like TFW.

Look at that pizza. Even if you don't want a tomato pizza you have to admit it looks delicious. The crust is perfectly brown and looks crispy, the cheese is bubbly and properly browned in spots, the tomatoes are colorful and look straight from the farm. You can see the yummy basil and olive oil. It looks just scrumptious. And the photo is blog worthy, nice wide open aperture and a "down and into" the food. The effort to make such a thing should not have been that bad (hey, you get to eat the end product!), and the payoff over time when you consistently post such high quality photos and recipes could potentially be enormous. You don't get rich by accident usually. That pizza was no accident, if that makes sense.

&&&

I don't disagree for SOME PEOPLE but I don't think most people. I have never cared two sh&ts if someone wants to envy me nor do I think people have a reason to nor do I envy others. I don't think about what others think, or care, unless it's someone I really care about. I don't have a envious personality. I think frankly a lot of people bothered by humble bragging have a jealous personality. Not everyone feels jealousy that strongly and maybe they don't understand that. Have you ever been with a man or even a friend who has a jealous personality? Then when you are with someone who is not like that you see the stark difference and realize that not EVERYONE is like that and that it's actually a very unhealthy way to view others and not normal.

There is humble bragging, and then there's just chit chatting. There is no reason to be upset because someone simply said they are having a fun sleepover too and then made a cute joke about feeding the kids normal portions. I choose to be happy for others when I see they are happy and having good experiences in life, instead of trying to cut them down. I would want them to be happy for me if I were in their shoes. If someone brags too much, I simply don't pay attention to them. Ironically a fixation on jealousy is a hallmark of narcissism, and when Kate keeps bringing up the jealousy thing I keep thinking well that's just another trait of narcissism she has. Not everyone feels jealousy frequently or at all. Especially once you're no longer a kid or teen.

Yes, they have been filming in the big cities lately, about time. Though there is a difference. I find small towns nice, always wonder why they always pick on a little town, or community for weird stuff to happen, in the movies or on TV. In the big cities, lots of weird stuff all the time, goes on. Like the new show: Under the Dome, in a small town. They are probably going for the power struggle option. It would be really interesting if they did it to a big city. Cut the big city off from the rest of the world, how would financial, shipping etc, effect the rest of the country. We lived through and saw what happened to NYC, during 9/11, how when air travel was stopped, the borders closed. everyone wondering what was to happen next?Economy to take a dive? Marshal law? what? It was a scary time!

I get having a 8 kid group sleepover may be rather cumbersome and anxiety producing, as I sure wouldnt want to do it, but hopefully TFW gives the younger ones an opportunity to have sleep overs in smaller groups.. The twins this week, then the younger girls in a few weeks, and then the boys in another few weeks and rotate it through.

PatK said...

From the picture of the "lit up pool" Kate recently posted, I only count four bodies in the pool. Each twin invited one friend? Oh, plus the 12-year-old mentality best friend/mom, Kate.

Not that it matters. Kate always makes "super fun" sound like the biggest bash of the year. And really, WHY does she need to announce this at all?

Have to wonder why the twins couldn't have their two friends over while their siblings were home. Because Kate loses the services of the twins in watching their siblings?

TFW...the gift that keeps on giving, I guess.

Or do you mean that there is simply no comparison between the way TFW behaves and the way any normal person behaves?

In any event, human nature being what it is -- we humans naturally look with curiosity at how celebrities behave and compare it to our own beliefs and life experiences. Heck, we do it with our neighbors too. I'm no sociologist, but I think it might have something to do with wondering where we fit in on the scale of "normal."

I am constantly comparing how other people handle situations with the way I think I would handle the same situation. I'm in my early 50's but still learning ways to cope, behave, or be a better person.

Anyway it was so delicious I'll be dreaming about it until I go back and order it again. It was a delight eating something so delish after reading so much about TFW's gag-inducing recipes.

You can Google Albondigas and see the soup recipe but this was different--made with ground hamburger and chorizo, a very good Mexican cheese and covered with a seasoned tomato sauce I will weep over until I can have it again.

I don't think I want to even see another one of TFW's recipes. They very much diminish what good cooking is all about.

Wow. And I wasn't even doing the humble bragging! LOL

Heck, we do it with our neighbors too. I'm no sociologist, but I think it might have something to do with wondering where we fit in on the scale of "normal."

Yes, it's "normal" to do so!

Of course not. You said that it makes us LOOK jealous not that you are jealous. I was talking about Kate's fixation with jealousy. I don't see anyone here including you with such a fixation. I disagree with you but I don't mean to imply you're narcissistic!

Whoever said that the slop picture should come with a warning was right...it looks exactly like something that a sick dog would throw-up. Maybe a truck stop diner would serve that--but, I don't even thinks it reaches the bar for them. What was that, anyway?

She is beyond help. I am actually feeling sorry for her because she is just so off-base and delusional. Why does she keep putting this stuff out there? It is over. Virtually every recent google search result is a negative article about her exploiting her kids and claw her way back on TV. Please TFMJG--just go away.

Kind of hurt that Tony Shalhoub didn't mention his new series at Joy's the another night. But, glad he will be back on TV. My DIL said that he was in a series called Stark Raving Mad (???) from 1999-2000 with Neil Patrick Harris that was very funny.

I personally think it's interesting what being famous does to people's psyche and why some people are able to stay more or less the same while others like TFW just get absolutely ruined. I have a friend who is starting to get noticed as a photographer, has been getting gigs abroad and a few shows, and he's changed. He is real jerk now, and very full of himself. I have to wonder if it went to his head. And yet I've heard many of us share encounters with others who are wealthy or famous who were very beautiful humble people.

So I do find myself interested in what celebs still do their own grocery shopping, childcare and nannying, and which ones act like divas. How does that happen? What makes someone change like that? How do people who don't let it go to their head do it? Just one aspect of psychology I find interesting.

Anyone else here watching the old Dobie Gillis Show that is finally being aired on Me TV Cable network?

I haven't seen it, but whenever I think of Maynard shrieking "Work!" I have to think of Kate!

Okay, I have some strange news! Remember my daughter had her twin boys a year ago, and the doctor said they would not be identical. But for the past year, no one could tell them apart, even their own mom and dad. I told my daughter that yes, they had to be identical, because they had no differences, not one that any of us could see. It cost them a couple hundred dollars to get a test done, and sure enough, Luke and Levi are totally identical twins! So medicine is not always right. I wonder if this is a common occurrence, due to all of the pollution in the water and land, same as how many women in their 30's are having trouble getting pregnant.
On a lighter note, we spent a few nights visiting the 5 grandkids, and ended up having a bon fire, to toast marshmallows. My oldest wanted to toast mine for me, and I was not really paying attention the marshmallows, not until I went to put it in my mouth, then whoa mamma! Everyone started laughing at me, because my mouth was packed full, and I was having a hard time with that marshmallow. No one told me about the new super-sized marshmallows you can buy now! They have to be twice the size of the regular large ones, no kidding! Well everyone got a good laugh at me, especially the kids. I hope everyone else here is having a fun summer. It is unfortunate that here we are, August 6, and the temp last night went down to 7 Celsius, a little soon for that kind of temperature, even for Saskatchewan.
I love reading here, have learned so many things, things that have nothing to do with TFMJG. But there have been so many comments posted, by the time I am at the right spot to finally say something, I am already 100 comments behind! But much better than seeing just 5 comments, like on some fan sites :)

That was me and I meant it. I'm not sure I could see another recipe of hers let alone a picture. Her "cookbook" is a travesty to anyone who appreciates and truly savors good food.

Travesty:
Noun
A false, absurd, or distorted representation of something.

If you like psychology/sociology, read "The Gloried Self: The Aggrandizement and the Constriction of Self" by Patricia and Peter Adler. I think you'd find it very interesting and deals with the questions you are asking. I'm sure it's online somewhere.

Oh, but I bet her fans/tweeties thought it looked awesome and amazing and delish and just had to have the recipe! Yum!

Hello - "we"? Who invited mom to the party? She is so screwed up. What a big to do over having what, 2 kids over. Always about her.

&&&

Exactly. She taking that photo from behind a bush like she's the FBI!

The ALMOST teens aren't looking at her, smiling in her direction, or in any way trying to include her. They are huddled in an exclusive circle far away from her and her stupid iPhone, probably quietly talking. They don't even seem to realize she is there.

The T.V. show is over but so is being BFF with your teens. They'll come back around when they're 22 or so but they are not eight year olds who just want mommy right next to them at the party. She needs to accept that just as much as she needs to let her T.V. career go. She is NOT their "friend."

Was that a movie remake of the old movie? I remember using the 3D glasses to watch the original. I loved him in Galaxy Quest, Wings and, of course Monk. That character was very touching. However, Monk and I would never have worked out--I am just too messy! It is so very hard, but I have grown to accept this,
