Veteran's Day

On this special day, we honor veteran Lieutenant Colonel Michael Strobl, our military parents, siblings and friends, and all those who served.

Odds are you don't know the name Michael Strobl. But you may have heard of the essay he wrote, A Marine's Journey Home, which was subsequently turned into the moving film Taking Chance. Occasionally, there are "reality" stories that should be told. This was one of them.

Wrote Strobl: "I didn't know how to express my sympathy for their loss and my gratitude for their sacrifice. Now, however, they were repeatedly thanking me for bringing their son home and for my service. I was humbled beyond words. I told them that I had some of his things and asked if we could find a quiet place. The five of us ended up in what appeared to be a computer lab -- not what I had envisioned for this occasion.

After we had arranged five chairs around a small table, I told them about our trip. I told them how, at every step, Chance was treated with respect, dignity, and honor. I told them about the staff at Dover and all the folks at Northwest Airlines. I tried to convey how the entire nation -- from Dover to Philadelphia to Minneapolis to Billings and Riverton -- expressed grief and sympathy over their loss."

Taking Chance is available around the web including on Netflix, Amazon, and HBOgo.

Emitting it's smell? No thank you. My food's mouth-watering aroma fills the house...well, except brussels sprouts steaming. they emit a foul odor. I've taken to roasting them with olive oil, balsmaic vinegar, red onions and dried cranberries. Much easier on at least my olfactory system and palate ;)

Perhaps Kate used rotten eggs in the bread mix. That smell being emitted is sulphur. OK. Made myself sick at that. Ugh.

I think the reality show pilot may be a plant to get people talking, thus making her relevent in the news again. Seriously, wouldn't she need Jon's permission to pay for filiming, eqiupment, babysitting, etc to FILM A REALITY SHOW!?!? Also it does not make sense finanically if it was her own money spending to promote something she 'created' when it does not generate income for her. Unless she has that money marked as 'entertainment' she set aside for herself. I still think it's a plant, an idea thrown out to see how people & the networks are reacting to it. Isn't that called a 'soft opening'?

There's a big difference between people who have been blogging together for years asking for recipes and pet tips of each other and a total stranger seeking parenting advice from a self-admitted child abuser they've never before communicated with, all in 140 characters or less.

On-line communities, such as this one, have been around for nearly 20 years and millions of people have forged deep, meaningful relationships, even marriages, from these dialogues. It is nowhere near the same thing as someone trying to get a D-list celebrity's attention through a lame tweet. Apples and oranges.

I absolutely agree that our "everyone gets a trophy" has indeed caused problems. Particularly of entitlement. Real Life isn't fair. You don't get a medal for just showing up to work. Or a raise just because you are on the payroll. Learning to handle disappointment and setbacks or even outright failure helps chidren towards a balanced life. Encourage children to explore all they choose to learn their particular strenght AND weaknesses. Just because Little Johnny likes playing soccer doesn't mean he'll even necessarily make the HS Soccer Team, let alone be a star in the MLS. But, if he enjoys the game he most certainly should continue to play and learn. I am all for a "certficate of participation" for everyone in children's activities. But I also support other awards for achievments by others in the group.

As for Kate as a role model? What role? The fertility treatment resulting in 6 kids at once? Nadya Suleman did that plus 2. Being on the TeeVeeH? Her parenting skills/style? God help us all.

Wasn't the balloon boy family on one of the wife swap shoes - trading spouses or wife swap. I seem to remember that just that tiny taste of the fame monster and big paycheck for little work is what sent ballon boy's dad on a quest for a reality show - casting himself as a Mr. Science guy? The whole saucer stunt was for his submission tape to pitch said show? Why, oh why didn't we learn about the dangers of the reality shows.

Hey Kate - I hear former reality famewhores Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag are also working on a new "project" to secure a reality show. Maybe you can commiserate with them on how it's not gonna happen. Since you probably don't know who they are Kate, what with your lack of interest in anything not specifically related to YOU, google them. There are many, many similarities between you and those two.

All those participation trophies are just dust catchers eventually. I don't know of one kid who takes them to college or references them on a college or a CV.

Jane, GMTA. I was just coming here to say that she seems 'frantic'. If I had to guess, I'd say that when Robert's blog was taken out, KK thought that she had 'won' and Robert and his book exposing her w/her own words was gone forever. Still speculating...then she talked to her attorneys, and they threw cold water all over her expectation, sending her to twitter in order to more or less pump herself up. Thus, more talk of cookbooks, and asking her fans to ''trend'' the cookbook. Maybe she was informed that Robert IS going to be able to re-release his book?

She is so transparent that it is very obvious that something is going on, or about to happen that KK doesn't like.

LB, IF Kate did produce a pilot through her own production company, SK8, she'd have used her own and investor's finances, ie: a business expense and a tax write-off. Jon would not have anything to do with equipment, babysitting, or filming costs. The only questionable issue is whether Jon would have objected to the actual filming of the kids and how that was resolved.

Pilots are definitely a financial risk, but investors hope that their project is picked up by a network and if/when that happens they'd recoup their initial outlay of funds and make lots of money on the deal. Or, they lose, but either way, they still use any production costs as a business expense write-off on their taxes.

As for a "soft opening" - that term is generally used when a business opens before their official grand opening, kind of to test the waters, work out the kinks before the doors are officially opened. Pilots are "shopped around" to networks and larger production companies hoping someone thinks it's good and wants to order the show. But, even if the show is picked up by a network, it doesn't mean it'll definitely make it to tv. Many shows still never see the light of day even after being picked up.

Exactly Tweet!

I wonder if the cost to take the family to Australia is comparable to hiring a film crew, paying KW and all the expenses incurred (paying the sitters, licensing fees, travel, food and miscellaneous) for filming a pilot?

The most disturbing thing, to me, about these tweets is how insistent Milo is that it was all "good memories and fun for U" (meaning Kate) but no reference about whether the kids enjoyed it.

Always it's about Kate's memories, Kate's fun, Kate, Kate, Kate. Her fans do nothing to help improve her image or the idea that she does it all for the kids. They merely feed her overblown ego and the idea that everything is all about her. Sickening.

Robert is going down in flames just like those other 2 people who wrote books about Kate and also self published.

How sad that you women spend so much time hating people you don't know.

Women hating another woman, nothing new as we have the Generals and all the women involved in the latest scandal and who started it? A woman jealous of another woman.

My husband said it best, nothing like women hating women and you hate Kate Gosselin for what? It is America, we had Veteran's Day, she has 8 children and she is suppose to have a conversation with the latest skank in Jon's life? I think her best bet is to try to ignore Jon's latest skank and that is what Liz is.

Why would Liz think Kate owes her a conversation? Kate takes her kids to Jon's hoping that each time Jon will spend time with his own children. When the children return, especially the boys, asking why does Dad like Liz' children and not us, do you understand what those children are going thru?

Liz, if she wasn't a skank, would leave Jon to have time with his own children without interferring in any way, trying to gain access to ROL or anyone with photos?

Remember when Jon left his family he went to H. Glassman. He did not go live in a house nearby and keep his children feeling secure, he left. He went on GMA and told Chris Cuomo that he loves Hailey Glassman. Jon has major problems, one is immaturity. He needs to get a job, get off the RR train that is Robert and he making money off of destroying the mother of his children.

It is this reason that no one will touch Robert's book. No one wants to publish anything that first of all, no one knows if Kate wrote it. Second, Jon allowed Robert access to his children on many occasions.

Opinion of Jon? Low life, Robert will never be employed again by any magazine, on line magazine or even a newspaper. His limited career is over. His wife may no longer be employed either as she assisted Robert with the book.

You can hate Kate, love Jon & Liz but actually what you do is destroy the children with your cursing, crude comments.

The twins only want time with their Dad, the boys want time with their Dad alone. The tup girls are slowing not going to Dad's either.

Kate is providing for her children and they are very involved in activities, they have a tutor because Kate cares about their education. Does Jon?
It doesn't matter any longer, but Liz should start to mind her own business.

What is this about Robert, Jon and Liz talking about a reality show?

Yes, little ears listen to what is being discussed when Dad ignores them to discuss proposing a reality show with the 8 and Liz' 3 and how Robert can get a production company to film a pilot.Oh yes and Liz' mother would be in it, a Grandma. Liz mother told the G kids to call her grandma, did you know that? This is 2 women new to the G 8 who have had too much publicity from the divorce to now. But Jon is desperate to get back on TV and Robert has promised Jon and Liz that. But Liz had to stir up some publicity to get the press interested, hoping the Paps would come around.

Bet not many of this is something that even your Administrator knows about.

Okay, I haven't had a chance to catch up on all the posts, so if this has been covered, sorry.

Admin -- another show that wouldn't make it today is MASH. It had poor ratings the first season, but CBS stuck with it. It didn't really take off until the summer reruns. How many seasons did it run? 10? 11? And it still holds the record for most viewers for a scripted show, with it's final episode. And how many awards did it win? Today, it probably would have been off the air in a month.

Lynn -- I had the same problem with Robert's site. I don't know how many sets of letters I tried to get through and none took. I even tried the audio password, and it is unintelligible. Some people have managed to figure it out, but I don't know how they did it.

I don't know if you're the same Anonymous that has been posting all day picking on people's spelling and grammar, in truth it doesn't matter.

Just so you realize, your post is filled with inconsistencies, hypocrisies and is mostly hyperbole.

Since none of what you wrote can be verified, it's, at this moment, irrelevant. What we do KNOW though, is that KATE left her children with a strange woman, known for her boob job, playboy spread and attempts to market her own sex tape, for an entire week to have them filmed just so she could get her fugly mug back on television.

That's parenting worth defending in your opinion? Really?

Do you really think that having a stranger care for them for a week is better for them than a woman who is involved with their father and provides a family environment for them consistently?

And for heaven's sake...a Grandmother figure in their lives!!! Oh shit, we should hate on Jon & Liz for trying to give the kids some sense of normalcy like an extended family.

Where are Kate's parents? Oh right, she "excused" them from her kids' lives because they "didn't know how to help her". Yeah, they didn't know how to help her exploit and profit off her kids.

You'd be taken a lot more seriously if your post had any facts. For the record, you might also want to drop the "Oh yes!" because it's a familiar tell.

Not always. Not all grammar books agree. There are exceptions to this, depending on how quotation marks are used in the clause and if you go by American or British usage. One exception here is if the last thing in a quotation is a letter or number, the period goes outside the quotation mark, such as "The first graders always have trouble with the letter "Z".

Interesting, yes?

Bet not many of this is something that even your Administrator knows about.
------
Well that's the only truthful thing you spoke! Why would Admin know any of that since it's all bullsh** and lies?
In answer to your post:
1. How do you know Robert and the other authors are 'going down in flames?" Please provide documentation, please.
2.We don't hate Kate. We hate that she exploits her kids. Although you believe kids sitting on the potty is entertainment, we do not.

3. The only woman jealous of another one is Kate. She's jealous of Liz. If you remember correctly (you do read Kate's books, don't you?) SHE is the one that ended the marriage, not Jon.

4."It is America, we had Veteran's Day, she has 8 children and she is suppose to have a conversation with the latest skank in Jon's life? I think her best bet is to try to ignore Jon's latest skank and that is what Liz is.".....
uh, there is just so much info in there, lol. What does Veteran's Day have to do with Kate having 8 kids? And what does it have to do with Kate carrying on a conversation with Liza? Ya know, if Kate would carry on a conversation with Liz instead of rolling up the window, I bet those kids would be happier during the custody exchange. They want to please both parents..are they supposed to hate Liz to make Kate happy, or like Liz and make Kate mad? Kate needs to put her kid's needs BEFORE her own. She needs to grow up.
5. How do you know the G boys say their dad says he likes Liz's kids more than them? provide proof please.
6. How do you know Liz is a skank? Did you hire a private detective? document her personal life? get a list of boyfriends? prove it please.

7. Robert took and passed a lie detector regarding how he obtained the book information, and it was NOT Jon. Robert is donating all book proceeds to charity. How are they destroying Kate? proof please.

8. See #7 regarding speaking to the kids. Also, RadarOnline independently verified the emails in Robert's book are factual.

9.Why do you think Jon is a low-life? You sure enjoyed and supported him when he was putting his life in your living room. Would he be a low-life if he was still married to Kate? And how would you know if Robert is employable...do you work in the media field?

10. If (and that's a big if) we 'cursed' about Kate, how would the kids KNOW IT? Kate says 'her' kids aren't allowed internet access.

11. Provide proof about the child custody. Scan the 50/50 custody papers. We'd like to see them.

12. You really think Jon doesn't care about the kid's education? REALLY?

13. How can Robert PROMISE a reality show to Jon and Liz? provide proof, I'd like to see that. You aren't there when the kids are with their dad, so how do you know what's going on? Are you saying Kate pumps her kids for info??? surely not Kate......

And since we are chatting, tell me why you think leaving your kids with a woman they have never met for a week helps the kids. Tell me, please. I'd like to know if the kids got paid...since they were WORKING.

Have a gr8t day!!!!!!!!

Yes, I agree. She blocks Milo and this Milo person is not one of her minions, kate will have trouble on her hands.

Just the other day a stalker flew to the US to stalk a celebrity. Can't recall who, or it was just recently.

I have a great potato soup recipe if anyone is interested. Tastes like Shoney's!

Here is my recipe!

You can use regular potatoes or canned in a hurry.

Cut up the potatoes put in water in pot and boil like you would regularly do.

Then take a couple of cans of CAMPBELL'S (a must) cream of celery soup. (Dollar Tree, $1.)

Then when the potatoes are ready, check with fork, add Celery and Onions, not (F&O's, just kidding no figs and olives kate!)

What I do is open them and put them in a bowl and stir it up really good and smooth so it would not be in chunks in the potatoes.

Optional: boil separately chopped celery and onions and add after the soup.

Then when the potatoes are ready, check with fork, add Celery and Onions, not (F&O's, just kidding no figs and olives kate!)

Then stir. Then add Pet Evaporated Milk, we call it Pet Milk in the South, or Evaporated Milk.

Make some CORNBREAD! Would be great to make soup and cornbread and freeze for a bad day or chaos. Also to take to a sick friend or relative. Taste more like Shoney's if you have the oyster crackers.

You could start the cornbread before the soup and the cornbread would be done or almost done when the soup is done!

I love it cold the next day because I will be eating a French delicacy! Vichyssoise! Note to kate: I don't have to have a freebie to fly to France to eat Vichyssoise! I just buy the ingredients MYSELF and cook it BY MYSELF.

kate could very easily fix this in a crockpot overnight and ladel it out in thermos's and they could have some good warm potato soup and a sandwich and yogurt and crunchy things and desert and drink.

But would she do that? Why heck no! I can't believe she thinks she is that entitled to get delivered, brought to or picked up by her or Steve meals like she is eating out of parchment paper. 29 dollars for an entree? And she sent stale food for her kids to eat to show them she was THE BOSS? She has got the freaking nerve! A judge signed a COURT ORDER for her to stop doing that! CPS told her to stop LOCKING THE KIDS IN THEIR ROOMS AT NIGHT! Has that dolt even thought about FIRE? She would be on the media circus for years for that! Praying that never happens!

This parchment paper gate is mindboggling!

I don't want to probe too deeply into the kids' private lives, but Kate's tweet this morning makes me wonder if their school's really open on Veteran's Day. Maybe a make-up day? *shrugs*

School is in session on Veteran's Day. No make-up day. What tweet made you wonder if the kids had school on Monday? I don't bother to read when she's in her manic phase.

Any word from Milo about Robert's blog being back up and running, or is she/he in denial?

Wow, that was a great comment. You said it all. My favourite was the last line,

"I'd like to know if the kids got paid...since they were WORKING."

That's really the thing of it, the kernel as it were. Kate MAKES HER KIDS WORK to provide for HER lifestyle.

They didn't ask for the mansion, the 20 whatever acres, the 3 cars and the pool. They don't benefit one iota from her NYC salon trips, her shoe collection or her make-up artist.

Yet they are required, by her, to WORK just so she can TRY TO get back on television. She spends what very likely is THEIR money to fund a shot in the dark chance to revive her "celebrity".

For heaven's sake, she leaves them with a complete stranger, for an entire WEEK and PAYS TO FILM IT!!!

Where are all those people who said that anyone would do it for the kind of money she was making. Not true of course, but obviously there are some.

But how many of those that would do it for lots of money, would actually PAY that same kind of money to exploit their children?

That's a special kind of crazy, isn't it? How can anyone defend that?

It's maddening and heart wrenching all at the same time.

Periods go inside quotation marks when the quote is a complete sentence. Otherwise it's outside.

If you're going to "correct" everyone, at least get it right.

I'll just throw this into the grammar/punctuation discussion:

The Americans and the British exhibit distinct styles for using quotation marks. In the American style, double quotation marks enclose quotations, and single quotation marks enclose quotations within quotations. The British practice is to use single quotation marks to enclose quotations, and double quotation marks to enclose a quotation within another quotation.

In the American style, periods and commas are always placed inside the quotation marks, for typographical reasons. In the British style, periods and commas are placed inside the quotation marks only when they are part of the quoted material, which is the more logical placement.

The Canadian style for quotation marks usually follows the American style for appearance and placement of periods and commas. Some Canadian publishers, however, use the British style. Others employ a combination of the two styles.

This is not a direct quote, and therefore, there are no quotation marks needed in that sentence.

George said, "The horse was black." Direct quote. Period goes inside the quotes. George said that the horse was black. Indirect quote. No quotation marks.

We learned that punctuation marks always go inside quotes, but today not all grammar books agree.

We know she has eight children (she reminds us on a daily basis), but I'm at a loss in tying those things together.

If this person is saying that Kate was too busy with her EIGHT kids on Veteran's Day to talk to Liz, this theory doesn't apply because the kids were in school all day.

Checker came back and said punctuation is correct. It's not.

The sense of smell has the longest memory of all the senses. I cannot drive by a bread baking company without being horrifyingly reminded of that day and start feeling queasy.

So yes, Kate's bread could very easily emit smells that would turn my stomach.

Joy, Kate never should have signed up for Dancing With The Stars to begin with. She has absolutely NO RHYTHM. None, nada, zip. She knew this. It was just a chance for her to get on TV. She deserved all the criticism she got. If you want a belly laugh, just look up Kate Gosselin at the Emmy's and watch her try and group dance with everyone else. It's truly hilarious.

I have to wonder whether it's even legal for Kate to have the kids filmed for this "Mom Swap" show if by chance it does get picked up. Doesn't Rep. Murt's bill (now PA law, I believe) state that the parent has to be present while the kids are being filmed? For this premise to work, Kate would be away with some other family, so will not be with them. Is Jon going to be paid to be there with the kids? If he's not there during filming, then it's illegal to film the kids for it. Was it even legal to film them for the pilot? Sounds like Jon didn't even know about that. Also, doesn't the law now say that the kids have to be paid for their work? Did Kate pay them? Even if the pilot doesn't get picked up (a 99.99999% certainty), the kids still had to work.
This so-called pilot had to have cost a huge amount of money. Paying the crew, renting equipment, paying Kendra, paying Ashley, travel, editing, production of the final product. Easily 6 figures. Add that to the huge attorney's fees she's shelling out, plus her staff, tuitionX8, and other expenses. I wouldn't be at all surprised if she ends up spending a million dollars or more just this year. And yet she complains about the cost of milk for her kids! The sky is the limit for herself, but the kids don't even rate milk. The woman is twisted.

OT Alert: my daughter just called and she is already stressing out over Thanksgiving! For the first time she is hosting all of her inlaws, including the aunts and uncles, about 25 people she says.

She must have asked if I was coming at least 5 times during the call. I kept telling her not to worry, I would be there and we would do the preparation together and some items I will be preparing at home and so we just have to cook them.

She made the grocery list while I was on the phone because she wanted to make sure she didn't forget anything. I kept telling her not to stress out over this; it'll all go smoothly. I also told her if she starts stressing out in the kitchen with me, I'm sending her to her room till she calms down!

I had to remind her that I've done these big holiday meals for family lots of times and everything will be fine. I understand where she's coming from, though; she wants everything to be perfect for her first Thanksgiving with the entire family at her home.

When you're right, you're right. Potty training has been over for a
long time. I fully intend to keep talking about KK's violent abuse of
her children during potty training. KK may have successfully put it
in her past, but I guarantee the children she abused have not. I will
never forget or stop talking about KK's own words when she said,

“I really REALLY lost it! I pulled Collin up by the hair and I spanked them so hard!!!”
“I was instantly so SO angry, that I grabbed him and spanked him as hard as I could and thought I may seriously injure him so I sent him to his crib…. And whipped him into it very hard! I for the first time thought I may really lose it and am glad that I just let him in his crib til Jon came home! I have never felt that I may really seriously injure a child but today was that day!”

Yes...I'll keep taking about KK's method of potty training, told in her own words. Oh yes I will. Want to keep giving me the chance to quote more of KK's words to you?

at the risk of sounding like a broken record, I will ask once again -- When does the "Gosselin Law" go into effect and is there a grandfather clause? Because IF the law doesn't go into effect until a future date AND there is a grandfather clause, that might explain why KK is/was so gung-ho to get the pilot filmed so quickly (and secretively).

I found this article(dated Nov. 1) posted on a PA lawyer's site which briefly describes changes in the law. It doesn't describe all the changes in the law-just gives a brief synopisis. It doesn't even mention children in entertainment. However, at the end of the article it does state that the new law goes into effect in 90 days, which I assume to mean 90 from the date of signing.

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said...

It's important that no one forgets the potty training debacle. There is no reason to talk about it all day every day, but forgetting it is not acceptable. The history of child exploitation in the entertainment business unfortunately includes that moment. If you let it be buried in the past, you do a disservice to future children who could be exploited in similar fashion.

We will soon, this Sunday, begin what I'm sure will be a great discussion of The Dust Bowl, as we view the PBS documentary together Sunday and Monday night. That was a bad, sad, terrible time. We did not do enough to help those poor people. Heroes will emerge in that documentary, especially women. Women photographers, journalists and social workers tried to help. It wasn't enough. But that doesn't mean the right thing to do is take a "the past is the past" attitude. We MUST discuss it. That is the whole point of history, to understand and appreciate exactly where we came from, to learn from the worst and the best moments, and to grow and evolve into something better. The Ken Burns of the world help us process our past, even if much of it is shameful. I salute him.

Kate has plenty of money to take those kids wherever she would like. She just chooses not to spend her money on her kids.
Jon's initial child support was 22,500 a month, tax-free in Kate's pocket.
Kate's so cheap, that even if she has millions in the bank, she is now having to fork over tuition money and that is royally pissing her off.
She wouldn't even spend money on a vacation for her kids this past summer. She had to grift one.

Another thought....Kate needs to get her voter registration info transferred to the correct polling place...next time she can vote for Rep. Murt!

Rep is my own term. Legal guardian is the proper term for a court designated legal guardian, in both my state and yours. The law, written by lawyers, doesn't say legal guardian. It just says "guardian."

I took the loose term guardian to mean exactly what it says, someone guarding your children. I.e. your rep. If they in fact mean legal guardian, I believe they would have said legal guardian. Plain meaning rule.

On another note, this is an unfortunately unclear provision of the law that should be clarified. Does it actually mean someone has to be an official legal guardian designated by the court, or can it just be your unofficial rep?

Kiwi I don't blame you. I do believe there are one or more accurate sources who know about this pilot and have been leaking information, however I also think they may be getting a bit confused. If they heard or knew that Kate was doing a pilot, Kate funding it may have been their own assumption. Maybe they don't understand there are other options. The world of pilots if a complex one even people who are part of it get confused by, and it doesn't help that the rules change year to year. Conventional wisdom about pilots five years ago isn't even the case at all as TV evolves. And reality pilots are their own new beast with their own rules.

The potty training is not going to be forgotten or put behind us. Oh no it's not ;)

The way she handled the incident when the poor little tup pooped on the hardwood, after being trained for a whopping FIVE days, is a perfect example of her mental illness. Kate thoroughly cleaned the hardwood and meticulously picked the poo out of the grooves with a toothpick. She showed more care and concern for her hardwood, her thing, her possesion, than she did for her own precious baby. She spanked the baby as hard as she could and if I'm not mistaken, that was one of the times she thought she might hurt him. And she wrote about it like of course everybody cares more about their floors than their child.

A child's brain does so much of it's hardwiring before the age of three. What these kids endured their first three years is just horrible, I can't bear to think about it.

Kate doesnt care. First of all it is only Collin, a boy, second of all she got free furniture, which she was PAID to sit and pick and out.

On another note, this is an unfortunately unclear provision of the law that should be clarified. Does it actually mean someone has to be an official legal guardian designated by the court, or can it just be your unofficial rep?

--------------

I was wondering about that, too. It says "guardian," but does not specify "legal guardian." However, when the terms are mentioned, it does define "guardian" as legal guardian, but in the body of the law, it simply says guardian. I am going to find out about that.

However, if she slipped in this filming before the law was signed, then it's a moot point this time. I do wonder if the required permits were acquired. The DOL looked the other way when they found out that permits weren't obtained for Kate Plus Eight, but made it clear that if any additional filming was done, work permits had to be obtained or penalties would be levied.

Here's an interesting excerpt from the article, about David Perel (a very good read)...

"All the while, Perel’s earned praise from unlikely people, including Martin Singer, a lawyer to the stars who’s gotten the nickname “Mad Dog Marty” for the ferocious way in which he’s gone after the media on behalf of some of Hollywood’s biggest celebrities, like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Britney Spears, and Demi Moore. “One of the things that’s remarkable is how quickly Radar has grown,” Singer says of his frequent verbal sparring partner. “He gets it right many times. He’s broken some huge, national stories.”

Something tells me Kate's TLC legal "Dogs", Mr. Singer & Co. have made a lot of phone calls to Radar Online since 2008- when Perel took over. That could/would explain all of the sugary sweet Pro-Kate articles they had once published at ROL.

How much do you want to bet that the 'friend' who gushed on about her flowing mane was just another old Captain Sweatpants guy at the gas station again!

Who am I kidding? Nobody told her that. Not in a million years!
Oh...wait.....maybe it was her sweet friend, Kendra...Porno Barbie!!

@Kateplusmy8 Folks can tarnish ur reputation w/lies & false innuendo...but NO one can ever take away ur #Integrity! In the end...U win! :)

Good lord, she's nuts.

I checked Milo's timeline today. She started tweeting this morning, and continued through 9:30 p.m., and came on again just a bit ago. Doesn't she have two kids? Does she prepare meals? Does she eat with them? It sounds like her Kate-mania takes precedence over everything else, unless there is more than one "Milo" tweeting and they tweet in shifts.
