Kate runs in Y102's 'Yes I Can' 5K in Wyomissing

Although promotion for this great cause has been shamefully sparse, we do know the race kicks off at 10 a.m. on Saturday and benefits Special Olympics of Pennsylvania. To donate check out their web site here.

Permanent -- Don't forget Cotton Hawes and Lt. Burns, too. And Fat Ollie Weeks. Is the woman you're trying to think of Eileen? I like most of them, too. Kling could be a bit of a tool sometimes, and Fat Ollie is repulsive, but my favorite has always been Steve Carella. I recently listened to the last (how sad it is to say that) of the series, "Fiddlers".

Yes, Fiddlers is the one I just read. And yes, it is Eileen who was having trouble with staying in or leaving the force.

Fat Ollie is disgusting, but I find him funny. Author seems to put him in to contrast...

Louise Penny (Penney?) just came out with new book: A Beautiful Mystery. Set in cloistered monastary, monks with vow of silence except chanting. Head monk is killed. Put a hold on it. Hope I get it soon.

I believe tomorrow is also the anniversary of the launch of Kate's web site. It certainly will be a big day to remember.

Norma Desmond is scheduled to make her appearance in less than two hours! You should be just outside of San Bernardino now, hurry up and get here!

LovemyGrandsons, while I'm virtually certain if I were in your shoes I would have defended that little guy too, how funny if you just had agreed with them? Yes, my four year old is a bully. Yes he should not do that. Yes yes yes I agree with everything you fine folks are saying!

I mean, what can they say to that??? What do they want done about it??? LOL. They might just have been relieved you "see" it too and backed off! hehe Sometimes people just want to be acknowledged.

This agree thing has really been a breakthrough.

Admin, in the Chicago area where I live, the parents take sports too seriously.

Apparently according to 60 Minutes "red shirting" kids (for most people, for sports) has become such a huge issue in Chicago that they had to ban the practice. It's so sad sports have morphed in such a way in some places.

It seems to be ok here from what I've experienced. Pop Warner football in particular is a great program and pretty low key while still being intensive.

I have to go to bed now! I have to wait until tomorrow to see the Norma Desmond post! Admin, I would like a western omelette for breakfast please! Now that we are here, Bandit and Johnny Knoxville will be taking off. I hope those annoying partridge family kids got lost on the way, we tried to shake them! I think I want rumspringa for breakfast too, it will help me get up.. Or go back to bed.. Or something! I want to take a bus tour tomorrow, maybe the TMZ tour, which one is the best? And go see Graumans Chinese Theatre, and the observatory where all kinds.of scenes have been filmed, and maybe we can see jay Leno filling up a car with gas, and..and..and....

Milo is a very strict christian woman. Does she know that her tweets to Ajay Rochester about getting Kate join her bullying campaign is mainly to endorse same sex marriages. I am certain both Milo and Kate (very strict Evangelical upbring) don't support these causes. Here is the website. It is a joke. They go to different cities and you get your picture taken with a logo on your face. The photo is $25 or $40 dollars. Tell me how getting photos taken and posted on a website helps anything but certain people's pocketbooks. This below website has a clock like Kate's. You must view how fake it is.

Ajay's website is very interesting. She was literally laughed and mocked out of Australia. That is what she wrote. Her background to Kate's is remarkable. Ajay has personally pleaded with DWTS's producers to be on their show. She wants to be a talk show hostess. This is her website. She had a tv show "Excessive Baggage" that was so bad it was switched after one week to another lesser network.

I wonder if Kate will cling to her or run as fast as she can away from her. And Ajay wrote that it was just last week they contacted her to be in this fashion show.

Is this the same Ajay in Australia that hosted the first Australian Biggest Loser seasons? If so, she was a bitch even back then!

jack'n'jill said...

So it is! How did she lose that Biggest Loser gig and why? She's a nasty piece of work but I didn't know she was loathed by the country of Australia! What'd she do? Besides be a bitch, that is?

Maggie thanks for sharing that, this woman seems like a total idiot. I don't care so much about the same sex marriage thing but in just a few quick looks at her web site I saw an advice column she wrote to a parent with asberger's in which she started off saying, first of all i know nothing about this.

LOL then why woman are you giving advice on such a thing???

Then she wrote this gem: "And whilst I can only speak for myself, and the people I know who have kids with the “disorder” (a word I prefer to NOT use), I want to assure you, it is not as bad as you might think. Yes the road will be rough, but not as tough as someone whose child is given a diagnosis of something like leukemia."

Yeah, I'm sure that makes a parent feel all better, knowing that at least their kid is not dying. Way to completely invalidate all the incredibly complex emotions that come with being a parent to a child with asbergers. Your advice to someone dealing with such a thing is basically It's not so bad??? WTF!!!! Sounds like she and Kate belong in the same tool box.

Ajay's child HAS Asperberger's. What are you trying to say Admin? I'm confused.

I'm in the middle of reading the last few pages, and I feel compelled to say:

Dwindle, can you email me some of your bread?!?

amyf said...

Ooh, I've got the Heather Locklear Stephanie asking to meet me now (what's she doing up at 5:40 a.m.?). Guess she doesn't know I'm a prisoner in a hellhole - but if she's only 2.8 miles away maybe I should ask her to come visit...

It's okay amyf, she's a time traveller. It's 10:30PM, Sept 12 here in New Zealand and she's now 2.8 miles from me. Girl gets around!

The last train for Lancaster leaves at 630pm according to Amtrak. Otherwise she has to change trains in Philly. Has anyone ever reported seeing her on a train? I don't know how this rumor started but I just can't picture Kate lowering herself to Amtrak.

I know lots of people who are stay at home moms, work part-time, or have non-traditional jobs where they work at home. And I can't remember anyone ever bragging so much about all the time they have at home. If anything they seem to downplay it, probably so as not to hurt others. You know, answers like yes I'm very lucky, and then they change the subject. I think most people who are able to be home a lot have the good sense not to constantly brag about it. It can make those who don't have that luxury feel badly. Just like you wouldn't talk about your fabulous vacation in front of someone you know hasn't been on vacation in awhile. The tweet from that poor sheeple saying this is her first vacation alone in SEVEN YEARS not only broke my heart, but is representative of the real mediocre.
