Much like last year, Kate, who said she didn't have the kids for the holiday, spent her July Fourth parental alienating Jon, and organizing her desk. (Last year, Kate accused Jon of not taking the kids to church even though she asked him to, while in the same breath admitting she slept in that Sunday, and also retweeted a fan's tweet that "Jon ruined that family but she healed it," and thanked her.) One of her most disturbing and alienating tweets, tweeted on July 4 in the evening (in response to someone remarking how she was happy the kids were with Jon), is this one:
"me too. The fact that he asked, always is worth my loneliness.I'm happy for them even if it's somehow hard for both me&kids"
Perhaps Kate's behavior, and the behavior of other parents like her who hate their ex's more than they love their children, will soon be recognized for what it is, a mental health problem.

TLC is coming out in August with another "family show" called "The United Bates of America." The Bates family are friends of the Duggars and have a similar lifestyle. They've been on a few Duggar shows. The Bates have 19 children and live in Tennessee.
You know, I be in the minority with my next opinion, but that's okay; it's still just my opinion.
Kate says she cries when she watches the old episodes, and I just don't believe it. Yes, I'm sure she is upset that it all ended, but I don't believe she actually cries. That would require having feelings, I just don't see her as having that.
We have all watched her fake tears and dabbing her dry eyes on national television when she was complaining about something, mostly Jon. I just do not see her as someone who breaks down and cries at sad movies, episodes of her shows, etc.
Maybe I'm being too hard on her, and if so, I'm sorry. In my defense, though, I just never saw her show any real emotion; just fake stuff if she was trying to prove a point and get sympathy.
Do I believe that she is upset about how the tables have turned? Of course I do. Do I believe she shares loving moments with her kids watching reruns of show and cries? No, I just can't believe she does. I think it's just her way of trying to get sympathy. After all, you can see headlines on google that say Kate Gosselin cries while watching old episodes of her show. She got back in the news and that's all she lives for.
Once again, I don't mean to be hard hearted, but this is my opinion where Kate is concerned.
So, Katie Irene is selling candy. I noticed the bit about the 17 grams of sugar, 11 grams of fat and the 200 calories. If I was out burning calories doing something I might pick one up at the convenience store but I certainly wouldn't stock up for daily consumption.
Not too long ago, I had children the same ages as Katie's. They were involved in activities - mostly sports but for discussion sake it doesn't really matter. I bought plenty of candy, cookies, sub sandwiches (from the girls down the street in the band) and lots and lots of Joe Corbi Pizza.
That's the difference. When we did the candy thing, it was for fundraising stuff for our kids - and the kids of friends - in similar situations. Katie Irene is selling the candy for the benefit of Katie Irene. I think I'll pass.

So, Kate does have that part in common with Norma--of course, I mean the delusional part.I tthink that many people saw Kate as delusional--even early on and maybe that's why people were non-confrontive with her. We certainly saw that with DWTS' s in the higher than deserved scores, and even on Ellen when she made her remark about speaking in code. Dwindle, thanks. We are having a great time. I am the oldest of seven kids. (Good ole' Catholic family.) My youngest brother is 20 years behind me. The girls are his and are really nieces. But, I can see why you guessed the GREAT part. I put the most recent photo taken with all of us together for my profile. Brother and I are on the left hand side. The man in the center is unrelated, but he did give us the dollar bills.
Today we had contests with small cash prizes. Tomorrow I am taking all 3 girls to Deals (Everything cost $1.00.) and they can fill their shopping baskets.

A Ponzi scheme is different than a pyramid scheme. In a Ponzi scheme, money is taken from Customer A as an investment in, for example, a share of stock. A pyramid scheme is when early participants build a team of people under them to sell a product. Many legitimate companies use this structure--such as Mary Kay, Amway etc. There isn't anything wrong with it, but the early ones in have the most potential to profit, because they will forever get a percentage of those under them, for infinite levels.
I have always thought that Kate was probably set for life, but this does look pretty bad. What kind of wardrobe is she buying for this new "gig"?

Only the Athena Greek Yogurt Blueberry bars have yogurt. You should see the list of ingredients. One of the top ingredient listed is palm kernel oil, which is decidedly not healthy. It has spinach, broccoli sprouts,
all kinds of fruit parts, etc. in it. Sounds like a winner to me. Maybe not.
The chocolate and the cinnamon ones are vegan.

I don't know why they call those vegan bars, the ones I saw were fruit and nut and yogurt. I didn't see any vegetables. Maybe they put purple carrots in them like V8 Fusion that I got for my son for a while. But his nutritionist said do not ever, under any circumstances drink your calories (if you are trying to lose or maintain weight). Only skim milk and that is one serving a day. She says save all calorie intake for food and learn to love water with a little lemon or mint.

Absolutely, and don't drink a glass of orange juice, EAT an orange instead. You get the fiber, which then fills you up and helps your bodily functions. it is MUCH better for your body. We give my son as much fruit as he wants, except at dinner-- he has to eat his dinner to get the fruit, or else he would eat just fruit for dinner.

My DirecTV just lost another bunch of channels. In looking into the other options, I think we are going to switch to a Roku unit that allows access to NetFlix, Hulu, Amazon, NHL, etc.
Has anyone used this? Or can offer any advice in making this switch??
