Senior (#197), I believe you are 100% right about her inability to explain the new CC app. She DOESN'T UNDERSTAND how it works. What I don't understand is why she wasn't DRILLED on this stuff before she got on TV today. I cannot believe they didn't give her a script and force her to practice. If they ever allow her to "promote" them again, I hope they've learned something from this. She barely got anything out about CC, a huge waste of an opportunity for them.
About Jon letting his kids film again: It occurred to me that he may believe this is the lesser of two evils. We have no idea what Kate has done or said to those children behind the scene once filming stopped. (The first time by Jon and then the final time by TLC.) He may have come to the conclusion that it might be easier to help the kids cope with the filming than it is to help them cope with a raging/lunatic Kate. I mean she was totally comfortable with what was actually filmed, imagine what she must be like now when there is NO ONE watching. Just a thought. I hope I am totally off base.
She has had a busy day. Someone else got the kids from school. Maybe she feels the shades of old times when she was groomed and interviewed. Just too bad there is nothing to promote. Nothing to generate excitement.
She better be thinking of "coming out" with Steve or some other juicy tid bit. Otherwise...just a blip in reality TV history.

Kate screwed up big time. Her interview with the today show was to push the "new app for cell phones with coupon cabin on it" so you could get your discount in the store and not wait until you got home to get the discount by ordering on line.
Different versions of this interview were shown. On the east coast it was all about Kate with photos of her and her kids, all discussion was about her and her kids.
The west cost feed from the today show had been edited but Kate had left the bldg before they could get her to do a voice over announcing the app that would be available on cell phones for customers.
This may very well be the end of Kate and /CC working together. She may get fired for this.

About the kids wanting to have another show... I'll bet any money she's told them there will never be another vacation anywhere outside the konpound unless they get a show. Des führer has made it very clear SHE's not financing any holiday for them so of course they'd say that. Her modus operandi has always been to get what she wants through her kids. Nothing new there.

She was griping about Jamie and Ashley's attitudes, that they were used to taking posh trips..then she realized what she said, and started back peddling, saying, we don't take posh trips. All the talk about Jon having more custody of the kids contradicts all of Kate's twittering...to hear her tell it, it sounds like she has them every weekend.
I think it was mentioned a while back that Jon was now getting the kids some weekends and Mondays?
If that's the case, his weekend could have been this past one, going into tomorrow morning. That would also make sense, since she didn't tweet much since Saturday.
I wonder if Jon would let the kids film again, I sure hope not. Saying it is one thing, doing it is another. I think the only way he'd let that happen again, is if the kids were in danger of losing their private school education, or losing their home. He may not agree with all of Kate's decisions, but they signed the TLC contract together, and bought that house together, too. I don't think he'd want the kids to lose those two things, dang, they've been through enough already.
I disagree. Public school is just fine if you can't afford an expensive private school and she can downsize the house. Jon needs to stay true and .of give in to her.
What's sad is AGAIN she missed a golden opportunity to promote two things that could have generated her future income (of sorts): Coupon Cabin and R&R races. BUT she had to spend the whole time talking about how much the kids want a TV show, throwing Jon under the bus.
She is supposed to be a SPOKESPERSON, she had a TON to talk about today, but as usual was horrible. She could have even mentioned the cruise, as in economy so bad no one was able to go, so I have EXTRA tips on CC regarding travel bargains for family trips. That whole lemons into lemonade thing. The appearance on the Today Show could have been a triumph for her. But of course, it's Kate and she does NOTHING to help herself succeed.

Ok, maybe I'm missing something. Did Jon come out and say that he wanted the kids to be on another reality show? In the radio interview recently, I know Jon, when asked, said it would be something he and Kate would need to discuss. As was discussed here, I think he was being politic. He knows the likelihood of Kate getting another reality show for her and the kids is next to nil or nothing.

This would be my guess: The things Jon says, now that their children can see these interviews on TV, are to decrease the chance of "parent alienator" behavior.
If my spouse was telling my children something along the lines of "that it's your daddy's fault that we couldn't keep going on all the nice trips, have all the nice luxuries, have mommy be happy so she didn't yell so much, etc....because he made trouble about us being on TV so now we are struggling and mommy is unhappy"....then I think I'd also finesse it (on venues where my children could see it) as a situation where I was "working with" my spouse and trying to be accommodating about these things (whether I had no intention of allowing it or not.

It's interesting...when you read the transcript of her interview... the number of "um"'s increases significantly when she talks about Jon. Almost every other word is punctuated by an "um".

I just checked the Inside Edition website. When you scroll to the bottom, there is a section reading "Inside Deals Coupons". That takes you to a page where you can select 57 different coupons for vaious products including food items.
She may not be pushing Coupon Cabin on Inside Edition if it is considered competition.
It will be interesting to hear what she has to say today because obviously whatever she had to say the last time (which wasn't 'shown') wasn't considered relevant - much like the woman herself.

I am also pretty sure that Ann Curry did not ask about the Kate cruise because she is completely unaware that there was one. KG is not anyone AC had to do any research on for an interview. She probably lost the short straw, or really, K8 was never going to be interviewed by anyone else. AC was probably told to ask her a few questions about the kids, her new life, etc and then let her do her promotion. And we saw (well those of you who can stand to watch, and I do thank you for that, saw) that once again, K8 hung herself out to twist in the wind.
Career in tv with that personality? I hardly think so, what with the ums, the swinging foot and her own inability to do the simplest polite things, like mention her interviewer by name, or thank her BY NAME at the end. Has K8 ever watched a tv interview, ever? Honestly, I could do better and cameras scare me.
And as much as I hate myself for doing this, she really looks awful, truly like someone her age TRYING hard to be 20 years younger. The flat hair is aging, the color is unnatural and her face, sadly, looks odd, can't quite put a finger on what she has done to it. And this is all too bad, because she was attractive in a perky sort of way just a few years ago. Lot of glam could have happened without the permanent damage she has done to hair, skin and face. There really was no reason for Kate to be on the show. She didn't say anything ( which is good) about the kids other than they are 'doing awesome.' Nothing about their interests or activities. She practically slammed-in that part about wanting to film with the kids again...as if she couldn't get it in there fast enough before someone stopped her. Ann C. seemed kinda stunned....like it hadn't been part of the planned interview.
Whenever she's interviewed, it feels like she's been given advice and makes some attempt to try to remember it but just can't help herself...and any opportunity to talk about herself is just too attractive to her and she just can't stop herself.
And then...she'll remember the advice she was given and try to follow what she remembers..."be nice", etc...but it's just SOOOO hard for her. She sounds so forced then.
But that part about she and the kids filming again...boy she just lobbed that in there like a hardball....like she was gonna get that in FAST just in case Ann C. started babbling with all sorts of boring questions Kate wasn't really interested in much. :D
And IS cooking from scratch less expensive? I cook from scratch and it's pretty darn expensive. Buying good, fresh ingredients IS expensive. It tastes a whole lot better and it's a whole lot better FOR you....but is it really less expensive?

The way she "learns" is to get someone else to do it FOR her so she doesn't have to the work. That is exactly why she failed miserably on DWTS. No one could dance FOR her. Lots of people go on that show without an inkling of how to dance but they learn by following instructions and doing the work to succeed. Kate is too friggin' lazy to go that extra mile for anything. Her blog and her website are more examples of her not putting any effort into the job. She's useless.
Kate needs to give up the idea of making the kids support her.

I am in 'agreeance' (Kate's word) about her appearance. I am one of the few that never thought she was attractive; I thought she was just nondescript. It's ironic that all her money spent on clothes, shoes, botox, fillers, hair coloring, and teeth whitening has only made her look older. Guess part of that old and hard look could be due to dieting (losing fat pockets in her face, for ex.).
I noticed too all the um's she spewed while talking about Jon, thought that was a tell-tale sign of lying and just making crap up,lol.

I think cooking from scratch can be cheaper than eating out all the time, depending on what you're cooking. For example, my husband and kids and I love fondue. Going out to La Fondue would run us close to $200 for our family. I can make the same meal at home, including salad, cheese fondue, Court Bouillon, and dessert for about $70-$80.
A meal at Denny's - $50. Same meal
at home - $10-20.

I believe her comment about swimming even if it's 40 degrees comes directly from our discussions here. And, I believe she *tried* to say nice things about Jon, again, because of our discussions here about her always "throwing him under the bus." Her attempt was lame, but she was clearly (to me anyway) reacting to our conversations.

Kate may have inadvertently forgotten to mention the cc app (which was the whole purpose of the interview) simple because she loathes having to be a coupon blogger...it was very clear that her fingernails were scratching down the side of the sinking ship she's on which was why she was blurting out as fast as she could about the kids wanting to be on a show and missing the crew before she went overboard and her ugly straw head goes under. It was her last ditch effort to get it out there (what she really wants) and she really didn't care if she screwed CC...I guarantee if she got another offer (no chance in hell), she would dump CC as fast as she could. She is only loyal to herself.
I haven't read all of the comments yet, but her tips to "Be organized" and "Plan ahead". Sounds good, but she never follows these "tips". Over and over we've seen her running out last minute to get things for a party or holiday. She even admits on twitter that some major celebration "snuck up" on her! How do your kids birthdays or holiday celebrations sneek up on you?
We've all been behind at for various things, but she makes a living trying to prove how organized and prepared she is, and her actions just don't match her words.
And the crap abou Jon finally starting to work with her, OH PLEASE. The nasty woman who refused to let him pick the kids up at the house and made him wait at the end of the driveway, but she implies that she was always willing to work with him?!

If all this begging works out, and they are given another television show, ever, I'm cancelling my cable tv. We need more talent driven programs to watch, not more no-talent reality shows. A little humility would go a long way, Kate. You and Jon were given the promise of a "gold mine" and you blew it. Get a clue and get a "mediocre" job to support your kids. Take them shopping and on trips with your own dime. If you work for it, maybe the appreciation chip will kick in for all of you. If I owned CC site, I'd fire Kate in a "NY minute." Also, the kids swimming in the pool regardless of the temperature. I'm sorry, but that is just very poor parenting. Various kids were sick and out of school during the 2 week period prior to the pool party. Why put your child's health in jeopardy again and risk more time out of school.

Does Kate ever watch the clips of herself? I remember Carrie Ann saying that she's never seen anyone with so little self-awareness. How can Kate not recognize the fact that her communication skills are next to nothing? How can she watch herself and not know that she can't speak? My gosh, the woman can't even start a sentence without "um." It's the firest word out of her mouth. Listen to the Inside interview. It's pathetic. Isn't she embarrassed by this...the speech, language skills, no eye contact? Wouldn't you think that by now she would realize that she has no gift of public speaking, let alone any gift of gab?

Kate's eyes always do that "cat" thing when you say something that pisses her off! She had the same eye expressions today that she did on DWTS when the judges criticized her and every time the score of 4 or 5 came up. Go back and watch the dancing clips and u will see what I mean.
Khate ain't 'jelus' because Jon has a girlfriend, she's angry because that girlfriend got a longer interview bit on a tv tabloid show than she did. Sad to say, of the three of them Khate was the only one with a slight purpose for being on tv. Hope the pay was good.

I think cooking from scratch can be cheaper than eating out all the time, depending on what you're cooking. For example, my husband and kids and I love fondue. Going out to La Fondue would run us close to $200 for our family. I can make the same meal at home, including salad, cheese fondue, Court Bouillon, and dessert for about $70-$80.

From the Inside Edition interview: "[Jon] definitely lives a different life than me and the kids do."
For someone who thinks she could make a living with her "gift of gab," Kate should master the basics. It should be "than the kids and I do." It seems sort of symbolic that she would place herself first there.
Her face is SO botoxed. One reason she looks so creepy and weird is that her forehead doesn't move and the rest of her face barely does. She has a strange, witchy expression, and her eyes have a darkness. She just needs a broomstick and a black hat to complete the look.
Different opinions are allowed. Attacking posters here is not. Detailing a thread is also not. Being rude to people here is not. Behaviors like this are not excused as just expressing another opinion. See the last thread for how intelligent and polite people discuss a controversial topic like education and disagree a lot without it turning into the crap on this thread. Knock it off.
Jon does live a different life. He's happy. She clearly is not and it's sad.

OK...I did watch The Inside Edition interview. It was less than 30 seconds...of DESPERATION!
It was sad, here Kate thought she was gonna flirt with Matt and he was off today. lol
Then Kate wasn't allowed to wait in the green room, she had to sit on that damn sofa for 15 min. Trump and his entourage had the green room blocked off. lol
Then Kate gets Anne Curry, who dispises her. You could see no love between these two. When Kate said her kids were doing so well in school across the board or some dumb thing. Anne said "acrossed the board?" and Kate repeated yes they are all doing so well across the board....wow, could feel the fire.lol

Kate and Jon would love to get back on TV and do whatever they have to do, pretend, fight, stay divorced and try to travel together, whatever it takes, as long as Kate can bring Steve with her and Jon has his girlfriends. But with all the celebrities willing to expose their underwear or lack of it, like the Kardashians and everyone from 90210. All those housewives shoes.
Kate had her chance and that was 8 yrs ago when realtiy was pretty new and then Jon blew it all out of the water, Kate got a bigger head (and I think it is still growing)and a bad attitude.
Kate never learned to treat people/fans/sponsors like CC right. She doesn't realize we can not go backward in life, we must learn to move forward.
Kate had her chance by blogging and getting big in the world of Bloggers, coupons, etc., this is a big and new field. She has screwed everything up because she wants to travel, get free clothes, shoes, etc.
Kate needs a psychiatrist because these kids are growing fast, have problems (Joel thought 37 on Kate's birthday cake was 73, dyslexia) and these kids will require a lot of money to stay in private school.
Kate never listened to anyone, she never pretended she loved everyone, she truly expected everything to be given to her. She, for some reason, truly believes she deserves everything for free. She has 8 children.
God Bless those children. What a screwed up mess and Kate will not get a job for money.

Improbable Dream, I agree with you completely. You can see the turmoil and unhappiness on her face.
I'm sure part of it is that she knows the well is running dry and sees that there is little chance of refilling it again to what she had a few years ago. I think it is really starting to sink in that those days are probably gone forever. She can put on her bravado when twittering all of the positive quotes and thoughts, but she can't disguise the truth that shows on her face.
There's also a part of me that says it's not just seeing everything slip away that is bothering her; I do believe that this is just her natural countenance. Even when she was on top of the world, she was still unhappy, nasty, and bitchy. She was mean to everyone around her and complained about even the smallest things, blowing them way out of proportion.
We have a friend who is male, but is like Kate is so many ways; he is just never happy about anything and always finds something to complain about. He and his wife designed their home and had it built about 15 years ago. They built a 5 bedroom although they have no kids. They were having problems with the high mortgage, but her mother (who is very wealthy) came to the rescue.
One Christmas she paid off their new cars and their credit cards for them. Our friend still complained about how tough things were for them (although they go to FL for 2 weeks every year and stay at a resort).
A few Christmases later (about 8 or 9 years ago), her mother said she was giving them their inheritance early instead of making them wait until she passed away. So she paid off their house. She wanted them to no longer be stressed with the bills.
This would make anyone ecstatic, but our friend now complains about the utility bills and the annual taxes. They both make good money so none of this should be a problem, but he is just continually unhappy and never satisfied.
Sorry for the long post, but this is how I see Kate as well. It will never be enough.

I've said this before: kart 'could have' made it big... she had the opportunity and the set-up (HOM).
She could have worked out some kind of deal that made her money (for her KIDS, of course, snerk), gave her 18 years of TV exposure and the lifestyle she craved.
But her personality, her greed + laziness, her arrogance and ignorance got in her way.
Cases in point:
1. Martha Stewart is widely recognized as a bitch behind the scenes. Not a bitch-because-she's-a-powerful-woman bitch, but just a rude arrogant person. She had a dream AND (here's the important thing) she had talent and/or recognized enough to hire talent.
She knew what she didn't know, and what she did and didn't do well and hired staff to make her business look good. She has respect for her shareholders and is a darned good business woman, personality notwithstanding.
Her staff did all the research, laid the tables, tilled the gardens, polished the silver, decorated her homes and she claimed credit.
That used to chap my ass. BUT, I have grudgingly come to agree that her magazines are good, they are works of art actually, her sense of style is impeccable and she has really good articles and photos in her publications.
Didn't like her as a person but agreed that she had amazing work ethic and produced an industry that has come to define style and domestic arts.
2. Paula Deen pulled herself up by her bootstraps and worked like a dog to raise her boys after her husband left her. I met her once and she was charming in that southern way she has. This was years ago and admittedly her accent and demeanor was not as thick as it has become.
Love her recipes or hate them, she worked hard and made something of herself. She had talent and worked hard. I've never read anywhere that she threw her deserting husband under the bus.
3. The Dilly's. Becky and her husband had 6 kids after their first child. They are good people, and did some limited TV in the early years. They put the TV money aside for the kids to grow for college funds.
They worked hard, kept their jobs except for a short time when dad stayed home and Becky worked full-time as a nurse. They are kind and grateful people who are good parents.
They even sold the large donated house and downsized home as a way to pay their own way.
And they protected their childrens' privacy!
These are only three people I can think of who had a dream, overcame adversity, WORKED HARD, made the most of their opportunities. I'm sure you all here can think of many more people who were successful in light of presumed adversity. Folks who made it just by hard work....
What do they have in common? Work ethic, ability to navigate interpersonal relationships, some kind of talent to market, smarts to figure out a long-term niche.
kart has none of those things. And she has no clue that she's clueless.
Again I say, I will always be amazed at her inability to 'get it' and her complete failure at everything. I always thought no one could be that unlucky or inept.
A sad waste. And her window of opportunity is closed.

Just an FYI to my post @123. Unfortunately, we nor many people see these friends anymore. We see them once a year in August when mutual friends have a big end of summer BBQ at their home.
Unfortunately, dealing with the continuously unhappy and complaining person was just too much. Many of us making car payments, monthly mortgage payments, college tuitions, credit cards, etc., could not relate to his constant complaining about finances when basically they have very few bills, and now owe MUCH less than the rest of us.
You just get tired and frustrated of being around someone so blessed, but yet is a constant complainer.
How much does she get paid for these appearances on IE and Today show?
Is this in any way profitable for her? Or is it just a way to keep her face/name in the news?

Some of her looks are definitively hooker-ish- like in that Big Apple epi! The low tops, no bra good or otherwise, hot pants , tranny shoes, and odd behavior on the street...yup. She hasn't done any better recently.

Took a peek at the IE interview and she has definitely had Botex. Those frown lines between her eyebrows are gone. Her face is tight so not much expression. She really acts flat. Not attractive at all. I agree before she had the work done, around the time she was doing the book tours, she looked younger and fresher. Dressed nice too in her Ann Taylor clothes. Now she just looks hard. I guess how you are in the inside shows up on the outside.

Re: Ann Tayloe LOFT dresses Content Farmer used to wear ...the dresses themselves were fine. But CF's extra assets were not supported well in the babydoll dresses she favored for awhile.
There was a picture of CF on the driveway handing out summer school work for the kids, wearing a black babydoll dress. She bent over the table, and I swear if I had been standing any closer, I could have seen if she was an "innie" or an "outie". It was not the dress' fault. The style simply did not suit CF's enhanced self. And she owned at least 3 of those dresses and wore them a lot.

One, it was so refreshing to see contestants actually thanking judges and viewers for all the support...our orange friend would do well to learn from them!

Well, I truly think we are nearing the end of the line with Katie Irene. Her performances today verged on the gruesome. She doesn't appear natural in terms of her facial expressions, barely cracks a smile. Isn't "sunny" the correct disposition for SuperMom of 8 on a morning show? She couldn't have been further from it. And when will she ever learn to speak? It's painful to listen to her.
Her little spiel about getting "her" recipes in order and the "8 testers"? Yeah, it doesn't sound like she's anywhere close to getting something like that into shape. All in all, mentioning the handful of things that she's dabbling in at the moment just makes her sound like she's scrambling for relevance in ANYTHING. She doesn't sound committed in any one direction, and as much as she likes to harp on "passion," there was NONE in evidence today.
I still think she has plenty of money put aside for herself, I think the note of desperation that's surfacing now is that the kids' accounts aren't big enough to cover the school tuition for much longer. Kate will consider it a crisis of gargantuan proportions the minute she has to dip into what she considers hers.
I wonder how much longer she'll flail around in terms of deciding what do to. I can't imagine after today's interviews that anyone from TV is going to come running--and that includes DWTS, which is ending on such a high note, you wouldn't think they'd be eager to reintroduce the Kate Gosselin brand of negativity.

If you look at the pictures at zimbio(older ones) there are pictures of Kate at LA airport...they are totally NOT Kate....it's around picture 75...there's over 1000 pics and I could barely get through the first 100...the boob-olution (evolution) over time is soo obvious...that's some bra!
I just watched the clips (well,I only made it half way through each of them) and I cant BELIEVE that Kate is STILL talking about her divorce... for Christ sakes it was HOW many years ago?!? Get over it woman! Her interviews reminded me of this quick story- my brother is a psychology professor and one day we were back in our home town and we bumped into an old friend of his. My brother asked her what was new and she immediately launched into this rant about her divorce- going over every annoying little detail. When she was done my brother asked how long ago this was and she said "9 years ago"...
When we walked away my brother said to me something like "When people talk about events from years past, with that much emotion and anger still attached, like it JUST happened, that's a pretty clear sign of mental illness".
And she really does look a lot older then she should. Her hair looks awful (yellow and fried much?). A poster mentioned previously that Kate looks weird in the second clip, like she took a sedative or something,I completely agree! Her eyes look very droopy and she sounds out of it.
Anyway, total waste of airtime.
Just watched the IE interview with the sound off - Khate's voice makes me mean :) The transparency on Khate's face is so remarkable. The adjectives I thought of while I watched her face were:

Khate was so blase, so completely without expression - she's either not nervous at all (given the foot pumping on the Today show I would imagine that's not the case) or on some sort of medication or way overbotoxed.
I'm sure everyone is different in front of a camera but it seems like it would sort of "pump" you up somewhat and you'd be a little animated from the adrenaline. I was interviewed once at my job a long, long time ago by a local TV station and I was so nervous I could hardly think straight it was insane...I'm not normally a very animated person but the interview made me seem like Liza Minelli on stage. The 10,000 watt lights shining in my face and my nervousness made me "perform", isn't that what you're supposed to do for TV? Especially if you're trying to promote yourself - like Kate so pathetically did.

A few days back, Admin said Jon fought Kate (and won) regarding setting up the kids a trust fund with their money....some (or all)of the kid's money may already be in a trust; if that's the case, then Jon's 22,000 monthly support was paying tuition and some bills...now since he only pays 1500 a month, she may be freaking out that SHE is now having to pay the kid's tuition....

My mediocre kingdom for the interviewer who will finally call Kate out on this ridiculous claim that the kids miss the crew [and therefore need a new reality show – wonderful leap in logic there, Kate … but I digress]. Silly me, when I miss someone, my first thought is to call that person on the telephone, or invite him or her over to my house for a nice meal. If the kids really miss “the crew” so much, Kate, how about you invite them over for a big swim party in your fabulous pool? You can follow the polar-bear dip by serving undercooked chicken (and many egg-themed side dishes) as they lounge on your leather sofas. But of course, we all know we’re dealing in “Kate-speak” here. Kids-miss-the-crew really translates to mommy-misses-being-treated-like-a-super-stahhhhh. Sadly, as others have noted much more eloquently in previous posts, Kate’s greed, narcissism, ignorance, and ego all got in the way of what should have been the mother of all windfalls, careerwise. In a nutshell, she blew it.
On a side note, I was logging in to check my e-mail this evening, and on the sidebar there was a photo of Kate and the kids with the headline: “Gosselin kids thrive away from the spotlight.” Kate basically admitted today on national TV that the kids are doing great now that they’re no longer on TV (although she’s too dense to realize that she was doing that) – but that’s the angle the media are picking up on. Must chafe Kate’s butt to know that her latest media blitz totally backfired.

Here's my take on the filming crew: The kiddos are asking to go on a vacation trip...like the ones their peers in school take. To Katie Irene this means filming, a network and a film crew. How can one take a trip (X9) without extras to record the memories (and pay for it)?
Just watched what I assume was the edited west-coast airing of Inside Edition. It seemed to me they were rubbing Kate's nose in Jon's new relationship, and she was obviously not amused. No mention of the new Coupon Cabin App. Her determination to get herself and her children back on television was blantently obvious and all she is interested in pitching. She can talk about Coupon Cabin, running marathons or 'peace' with Jon but none of those things matter. There is just one thing that matters and that is getting herself back to her former glory.
They threw her a bone by pointing out her new, more modern hair-do, but it will take more than a new look to save her. She is done.

Maybe she's not paying it. She can take it out of the kids' 15 percent account. It's for education, welfare, anything that benefits the children. It's doubtful that she wouldn't do this if it meant not having to dip into her accounts.

I swear to god almighty, if I hear her use the term "screech of delight" one more time I am going to have to start meditating for solice. Her kids squeal with delight, she screeches with delight. I think she did this direct pitching to network executives for the past 10 months. I think some of the executives may have said that they fear Jon would put up roadblocks to have his kids filmed and they are not willing to fight Jon on this. And I think the executives also had fears that 2 of the 8 were so badly disturbed that will were politely asked to leave the school for many, many months. This no doubt presented another fear and roadblock for filming the kids. Afterall, Kate's ratings were not all that bad. Most of the time, she had over 1 million in ratings.
Hence, that is why Kate put the word out today that Jon and Kate were getting along much better, the kids are doing amazing well in school and life, the kids want to film, Jon and Kate had a meeting "behind the scenes" and came to a peaceful agreement, and Jon very recently implied that he was neutral as far as filming his kids. Before, he was dogmatic about no filming of his kids. In less than a few weeks,in a radio and tv interview he is giving out a different vibe that he may be changing his mind. Also, Jon admitted he was behind on child support and he is hurting financially.
Yes, Kate had a mission today and it was to those executives & others that things have changed for the better and please reconsider filming her family again.
I didnt watch kate today.But I see here that many did. I just have to ask....why give this woman an audience? I'm not trying to be a shit-stirrer or anything like that. I can not stand kate. I love to see her called out on her lies and the shitty way she treats the kids. BUT....all of us here who cant stand her watched.
We want to slam this woman for everything BUT yet you WATCH anything and everything she says.
Just like if she gets on CA or DWTS-all stars...many have said they will watch. WHY? Why give her the attention she's looking for?
We love to beat down her sheeple for being blind of all things kate.BUT yet...we have "haters" checking her twitter and her own web-site many times a day. WHY? Why waste the time looking for all this when you hate this woman?

I think its great that Preesi is ending her blog.I really believe the haters keep kate alive more than her fans...both of them.Kate got the last laugh...she said if you love me or hate me....you still talk about me and watch me...she is SO right.It dosent matter if you hate or love her...you are still giving time to her and putting her in the news.

Your observations are spot on and your theory is darned good. You may very well be exactly right. I wonder how/if this ties in with the 'here comes the book' tweeter, too.
I always thought that Kate was naturally pretty, and, while I thought her reverse mullet haircut was ridiculous, it made her unique. Instead of building on her unique style, she has transformed herself into that generic Barbie doll, Playboy centerfold look---She looks usedup, trashy, plastic and common. If she belongs anywhere, it is on middle of the night infomercials, hawking miracle eye creams, miracle cleaning products or miracle crappy exercise equipment.
I think that she did herself no favors today--everyone except Milo and CJ know that her kids success and 'awesomeness' is because they now have a home, instead of a television set and because their succubus mother is finally being civil with their beloved daddy.

This is not snark, just a question. You obviously read the posts here about her appearance today. You know what she did and didn't do. If you can't stand her, and question why others follow her when they dislike her, why did you read the posts? You know that posters read her twitter, you know that Preesi is closing her blog. Obviously you keep up with these things, too. You include yourself as "all of US here"...
That video clip on IE. She is on some type of sedative. Her eyes keep doing funny things. They almost look like they are rolling back in their sockets a few times. Especially at the point she is asked about Jon's girlfriend. Check it out.

For the record.. I didn't watch. I actually was going to, but I missed it. I saw it later on the internet. What's the difference....at this point....shes toast. I never watched her show because I didn't want give her any ratings. I really don't think it matters anymore. Watch away!!!! She's been flushed..
I always thought Kate was fairly pretty. I didn't like her behavior, but she was pretty. Youthful, good clear skin, cute figure, harstyle suited her face and her personality. And she ruined it all.
Now she's just plain ugly, overused, leathery, snake like.
I really think her inner ugliness has fully blossomed now, whereas before it wasn't fully formed. Watching the video above it was painful to see how much she's changed. It's like she is a whole other person. This is what the nuns were talking about when they said that it would show on the outside when the devil has taken over your soul.
I didn't watch myself actually just heard about it here. Her interviews are too embarrassing I can't take it.
