When Kate accused the gracious and talented designer of benefiting from a product featured on Jon and Kate Plus 8, Em Tanner struck back with this: "Just wanted to clarify that Kate recieved MY design for FREE as a gift. Unreal. You are a piece of work!"
Here's a brief summary of Kate's latest Twitter war as we understand it:
Back when Jon and Kate Plus 8 first started, a lovely designer from Tennessee named Em Tanner sent Kate loads of goodies from her collection, including numbered t-shirts for the kids, and a calendar that according to Em's tweets, she gave to Kate for free.

Em Tanner named the calendar "Kate's calendar," and put it up for sale on her web site. Although other independent sites such as Amazon.com have pointed out that this calendar was seen on Jon and Kate Plus 8, nowhere in the description on Em's official site does she mention the name Gosselin, nor does she even mention it was featured on Jon and Kate Plus 8. The calendar itself is actually called "Kessler Family Calendar."
Yesterday out of nowhere, Kate tweeted that she "thinks" Em Tanner marketed the calendar without her consent, and that it's "sad when people use your name for gain without permission!"
Em Tanner responded that she gave lots of things to Kate for free, she doesn't want Kate's name on a thing and she gets lots of hate mail about her and therefore would not use Kate as a marketing tool.
Kate responded that her name being used is "not legal" and the Em was "confronted" but she "ignored."
Em replied that that's "not how it went and we both know. Good luck to you." She later tweeted she's "actually not bitter at all. Just was floored I was being badmouthed so randomly."
At the end of it all, Kate admitted that she actually "started it" (the twitter war) and that she "didn't mean to cause a war."
Next time, Kate, maybe you should take your serious misappropriation accusations to the court of law, and not to Your Honorable Twitter. I hope you remember to bring your patent on the name "Kate" when you go!

The producer of Dance Moms said regarding that rumor, "No, no no." Not sure where a link is.
1000+ posts is too many to read, and I can only take so much of Kate at one time.
However, regarding "Milo and Jack"...I'm NOT on Twitter and find it vapid, but, even so, I've read enough to know that Milo is the CAT and Jack is the DOG--she has posted pics of both; that the poster is a married woman whose husband calls "lights out" every night; and that she's not in great health. And she's nuts and probably has about as many "real-life friends" as Kate does--NONE.
I have major issues w/ people who don't read and/or listen and ask the same questions over and over. Sorry I'm grumpy.

Absolutely. Although, I think that there is more to it than just your garden variety stupidity. They still see her as a famous celebrity, worthy of those trips because she deserves that lifestyle. If they saw her any other way, it would mean that they acknowledge that she has fallen off the celebrity pedestal. Since they live vicariously through her, to admit that she is a has-been would mean that their own lives are on the downward spiral. If she falls, they fall, and they have nothing left. They have to keep her "up there." Otherwise, what are their lives without their daily Kate "fix" and worship of her?

The gall of this woman astounds me. Kate, let me give you some advice. No matter how trendy a salon is, bleach is bleach. It is going to fry the hell out of your hair. In fact, it already has. Find a hairdresser near you, go back to your natural color. Save the money your kids have earned. Spend some of it on them. God knows they earned it! Quit wearning clothes from the junior department. There is a whole other department called Misses. You will find these clothes suitable for a mom yet still stylish. They may not be cut up to the nether regions but trust me honey, the crap you wear only makes you look desperate and is embarrassing for you children. Maybe you could hire Jon to be your stylist. You looked a heck of a lot better when he was dressing you.
Because there are so many comments, people tend to skim. (I know I do when it gets too long.) Because people skim, they miss some points. Because they miss some points, those points accidentally get repeated. Lather, rinse, repeat.
It's inevitable with this many comments. I guess we need a new post.
In a bigger sense, it's interesting: I'm curious to see when we hit a point that there's literally nothing left to say about the Kate the Trainwreck from Hell (e.g., nothing left for admin to create new blog entries about).

Dallas Lady, this is what I think. I think anyone who was representing Kate through TLC would end their business with her at the end of the contract. Who would want to take on her attitude and reputation.
I believe she needs some type of manager, or PR Rep if she expects to stay "in the business" and she will have to seek one out and pay them the money they deserve to market her. It is not going to be an easy job. I wonder if she has anyone now. She surely can't do it herself. I wonder if this was part of Steve's job also. It is pretty obvious he took pictures of her for publicity and at the Grove interview in the tinsel dress, he was the one who told her she had to take pictures with the fans. It will be interesting to see what type of "gigs" she gets for herself and if Steve will be there to "manage" her.
She is a Cow, true. She would have to get an agent just like anyone else trying to make it in show business. She's such a Z lister, she wouldn't be able to get or pay for someone in the top ranks or anything.
And as many people here have astutely pointed out, she's pissed off a LOT of people in her six years with TLC and in dealings with others in the business.
So good luck to her on that. Part of her "paperwork" probably involves trying to find an agent who will represent her at this point.

I would assume she set up the cruise. Does she stick it out until it's over? Was TLC paying her or was it a commission per booking job? Does Julie work with other TLC personalities? I really don't know anything about this topic but I'm interested to learn.

I think this is interesting. When you go to the Media Motion International website and click on Clients, you will see "Kate plus 8" as the client (not Kate Gosselin). When you click on the link (launch site) it takes you to the TLC website for Kate plus 8.
I don't know how to interpret this. Does Multi Media Motion International represent Kate or not?

Tamara, the sextuplet's birth was actually national news since at the time sextuplets continued to be pretty rare. Anyone else remember where they were in May 2004? I was living in D.C. at the time and I remember a news blurb about it and it stuck out to me because I had been to Hershey several times and there was also a blurb about Joe Paterno visiting them and I was a fan. From what I understand, Em Tanner just heard about them pre-show just like I did. She started sending them clothes and things not too long after. It does suggest it being even less of a business deal and more of a "I just want to help out" thing. Without the show the clothing was going to get but minimal exposure.
I believe it was Gosselins Go Dutch that Kate explains about Em Tanner, something to the effect of this woman heard about us and loves us and wants to help. I don't know the exact quote. Then they got the show, and got a bit more formal with the business deal.

Their sextuplets were born 3 months before the Gosselins. 2 sets of sextuplets born within 3 months of each other and in neighbouring states. Kirkland, I noticed the same thing. And the bio on the "Kate Plus 8" page on Media Motion International is way out of date. TLC doesn't still broadcast the show each week, etc. And when you click "Launch Site" you do go to the old TLC page for Kate Plus 8. What I find funny is it starts autoplaying "Stress Got the Best of Us" the clip from one of the RV episodes. Ha.
I went to her site and couldn't find anything about a PR rep or an agent.
I did find it interesting she hasn't updated her Fitness tab since November 28. Fashion & Beauty hasn't been updated since November 8. Just My 8 Cents Worth seems to be her main blog section. Lovable Products, whatever that is: still empty. Inspiration, still empty. Kate + Rumors hasn't been updated since December. K8's Kids hasn't been updated since October.
Like all things, this seems to be something she was all gung-ho about, then lost interest in except for the occasional blog entry. I still find it interesting she's now putting her CC blog posts on her site with a link to CC. And I still think that's their way of slowly transitioning to not having her directly on their site anymore.
Anyway, the only contact thingie for her is her own twitter or her own email. No re-routing of email to an agent of any kind.

There are a few here who have been saying all along that it's strange that the person who is one of the biggest butt kissers of all isn't going on the cruise, using the wheelchair bound as an excuse (when, in fact, she walks), and now won't send a video. There's a reason she doesn't want Kate to see her.

34 - She claims she is intimidated by kate's beauty. She also said she is too ugly to show herself or something similar. What's odd is knowing that she wasn't going to show herself she still did that annoying nagging for almost 2 weeks BEGGING kate to talk to the lights out man to get her to come. This was after saying she's too ugly AND telling kate she would need pushed in a wheelchair.

Regarding Julie Carson May, maybe a month ago someone contacted Kate on twitter about some sort of work. Said she wasn't able to reach her PR person so Khate told her to contact her directly through e-mail on her website. It doesn't seem like she is working with Kate anymore. Bet she had a little celebration when/if that contract ended. I bet Kate drove her up the wall.
Ugh, Kate saying "willingly" about Jon leaving with that lttle wink afterward is so typical her. I want to wipe that smirk right off her face, she is so evil. It ALMOST, REALLY REALLY CLOSE, makes me wish Jon would write a book about what really happened. Kate's never gonna stop bad talking him. Kate is doing more damage to the kids than a tell all book ever could. Would just be so bad coming from him. Wish I had worked for her, I would have had it done and ready to go.
I googled Julie Carson May and her media website comes up. It has a listing of her clients and Kate is still on there. The only other client I recognize is Bill Nye the science guy. I don't recognize any of the other names or faces. Who knows how up to date her site is, but it seems like it would be current if she is a good business woman.

Lady, I have been posting here since the inception of this blog...I am one of the originals. My post was related directly to the Milo and Jack issue...do NOT tell me I am not welcoming to new posters, because that could not be further from the truth. Kate Gosselin does not "dictate my mood," and perhaps you should inform yourself before making such outrageous remarks.

Why do Kate's eyes always look weird. I'm not talking about the wonky eye (the right eye smaller than the other - that can't be fixed). But it looks like she always has fake eyelashes on her left eye but not her right. It looks odd. I noticed it on the N.E. article, a video she shot right after TLC dumped her (with Guiliana Rancic) and a couple of other photos.

sooverit -- good for you in completing your masters in speech/language. We Central Ohioans kick butt! There are so many good schools in this area, hope you like the one you are attending. Hope you are able to put that vocal performance degree to use, too. I'm not doing much with my training except sing in the church choir any more,but I sang with the Cols. Symphony CHorus when I was in school and with the May Festival Chorus when I lived in Cincy. Real workouts, lots of hard work, but well worth the effort.
Re Rachael Ray -- I disagree that she is "skamming". Her merchandise is well-designed and made. Is a "Garbage Bowl" necessary kitchen equipment? Of course not, but if someone with more money than he/she knows what to do with orders one, they are getting value for their money. That's not being "skammed". I rather like Rachael. She wears me out, with all that pep and energy, but she's worked her butt off to get where she is, and she always gives credit to those who do for her and support her, and she gives back a lot to the community and to charitable causes. Unlike a certain KK we all know and don't love.
I was thinking about sheep today, because I drove past a farm and saw some adorable lambs out with their mama ewes. Sheep aren't very bright, and often farmers will put another animal, a belled animal, in with them to lead the flock. Do y'all know what that animal is (I'm not talking about a dog whose job it is to herd the flock)? It's a goat. So -- guess that makes KK a goat.
Oh, I'm only listing women from the early days. Besides Beth, whom I mistakenly left out, these were the ones i remember. Sorry, not saying any of then is Milo. I was not clear.
A new non-fan (@NotDisclosing) appeared on Twitter today, mostly to spin MsGoody2Shoes21 and RealZiggyFlo into a frenzy (it's pretty comical) but travel agent Cindy inserted herself into the fray - so very unprofessional. I think it's been more than two years since she died. Wasn't there scuttlebutt going around because Kate didn't go to the funeral and her excuse was that she didn't want to create a commotion (or something like that)?
Sometimes I've wondered if Kate IS Milo. Milo is doing exactly what Kate wants, making excuses for her all the time, trying to make Kate's irrational behavior seem rational, constantly saying Kate is so inspirational, such a great mom, so beautiful, so wonderful, blah, blah, blah. That's exactly what Kate wants people to read about her, but knows if she said all that herself, she'd look like an even bigger narcissistic ass(if possible). If it weren't for Milo's constant begging for attention, I really would think that Kate "created" Milo to build herself up. As it is, I wonder if she's feeding ideas to Milo about what to say, so that Milo can set the tone for the other sheep.
As it is, how can it be that one person is so over-the-top in love with someone that they can't ever, ever, ever see anything wrong with anything that person does? How can anyone excuse the inexcusable? How could she look at that picture of Collin's head behind the wheel of Kate's van and not be horrified? How can she look at the pics of Kate yanking up Leah's dress to spank her (and giving the paps a clear shot of Leah's underwear, KNOWING that the paps are taking pictures of it) and not find anything wrong with that? How can she look at picture after picture, episode after episode, of Kate either screaming at her kids or ignoring them, and still say she's the greatest mother ever? Milo is looking at horrible things and calling them wonderful, and I have to wonder how any sane person can do that, especially to such an extreme extent.
I wonder if Kate sleeps sitting up after her gorge salon do treatment. I remember my mother -oh get this - wrapping her beehive do in toilet paper at night to keep 'the look' for work the next day, after she had spent $$ at the salon. I used to go to my room and lmao. I remember thinking I'd NEVER let my husband see me with a TP turban wrapped around my head. bwahahaha. Anyway, I just pictured Kate doing the same.

I agree, Auntie Ann...although I can see the other side of it. She put herself out there when the cruise was announced, playing with Kate, asking her questions and begging her to convince her husband to let her go. I think Milo knew exactly what she was doing -- it was her scheme to get Kate to talk to her.
It's like she wants to remain a mystery, but at the same time, she likes to play guessing games -- imagine how I look, Kate, will you be disappointed when you meet me, and so forth.
So if her identity is found out, she really has nobody to blame but herself because she's almost daring those on twitter to do investigative work. She loves to taunt.

That's what they did "back in the day." Mothers had a standing appointment at the beauty shop once a week, and they didn't wash it from one week to the next...just kept spraying and using the toilet paper wrap. If your head itched, you used a pencil or a pen to get through the teased mess in order to scratch it!

Let's see, how about how they dress? KK with her red hooker heels and short shorts/miniskirts, with her boobs hanging out. KM dresses like a lady, always. And which one got the handsome prince? The lady, not the trailer trash.
KM just did her first speech on her own. She was nervous, but charming and very politically correct. KK can't open her mouth--ever--without saying something insulting about someone.
How about lifestyle? KK whines and cries about how poor she is, so gimme, gimme, gimme, while reminding everyone as often as she can that she lives in a McMansion, has 8 kids to private school, has 3 cars just for herself, and hauls herself to NYC to get her hair fried every 6 weeks. KM is comfortable enough in her own skin to live in a "mediocre" little cottage, shops for her own groceries, and walks her own dog. She knows she has nothing to prove.
How about accepting things from fans? KK grifts constantly, and feels so entitled that she has to be reminded to thank others for their donations. KM is so gracious, stopping to chat and thank people who give her flowers on her walkabouts. I am absolutely certain that if someone wanted to send KM socks or a Keurig, she would thank the giver politely and ask that the giver make a donation to charity instead.
KM is many years younger than KG, but boy, could KG learn some lessons from her!
P.S., I sooo want earrings like the ones KM wore at her wedding.

Here in the upper Midwest we have had the most beautiful weather... Sunny, 70s for weeks. Very unusual for our state. Basically had no winter to speak of (Yay).
But the best thing, I'm sitting at the computer by the screened in porch with the doors open and it's raining gently and the raindrops are doing their tapity-tap-tap dance on the metal roof like music.
The birds are chirping like crazy, the forsythias have bloomed, the clematis is beginning to bud and the rain on the grass smells so sweet that I can hardly describe it.
Why do I mention this? I feel so sorry for kart because I doubt she is able to enjoy moments like this. She lacks the 'other-awareness' gene.

Some people resent that she is from the middle class, some find endless small things to pick about, and some (I'm one of them) think that neither she nor her husband are particularly interesting or intelligent, or contribute much to the UK. (Though I do appreciate that they seem as down-to-earth as young, incredibly wealthy and privileged people can possibly be.)
However, the biggest difference between Kate Gosselin and Kate Middleton is that KM goes about her appointed rounds, her JOB, and it is a REAL JOB, graciously and endlessly pleasantly, day after day. KM takes pains to get along with the dysfunctional family she married into. KM dresses respectfully and appropriately for each and every event her JOB requires her to attend.
Kate Gosselin, not so much. Beginning with her complete disinterest in having an actual JOB.

Since it was confirmed that Jon was fishing for freebies while Kate was pregnant (and fired for it), it was more like a 10 month jump on the other family.
As far as the lack of updates, she probably is too cheap to pay someone to help add some content to her website. She probably envisioned all kinds of paid promotional and endorsement fees that never materialized--because she is either stupid, lazy or both! She has absolutely no business skills and she is so much poorer for it. If she wasn't always grabbing for the bright shiny freebies and had paid for some good branding advice, she would have had a big jumpstart on some revenues when the show, like ALL shows, ended.
She has no one to blame for her current fails except for herself. Of ourse, we already knew that, didn't we?

EM - Like I say, I don't need to know so I won't join in the game. It just seems like once a person is identified on twitter, or anywhere in this tangled web, people come out of the woodwork to destroy them for having anything to do with Kate. She's caused so much collateral damage already.
That's just my opinion and I'm not trying to tell anyone here what to do. The whole intrigue surrounding the Gosselin saga and why Kate is what she is is enough for me too.
I firmly believe based on observation that Kate Middleton is quite well liked by the American press. She's seen as a good match for William and a no-drama, classy lady.
The British and other foreign press may have been more vicious but that's how the British press is. They have ripped apart every single female member of every royal family for decades mostly without reason and I find it disgusting.
Ragging on Kate M. for being new money and having background she absolutely cannot help is silly at best. When they come up with real reasons to hate her, like say, she exploits children or treats William disrespectfully, I might take notice. It's interesting to me what the foreign press turns their noses at, her "new money" status, the American people love. I'm referring to the party business her parents built and made very successful--that's the American way. Here, they would not be looked down upon but rather would be on top.
Kate Middleton is a fine example of someone who is well liked. I do not count the usual suspects in the British press who make it a sport to tear down perfectly decent people.

Also, I remember hearing that some of the large cruise ships has passengers that pretty much live permanently on the cruise ships. Retirees are one of the biggest demographics of cruise lines. They have excellent medical personnel and facilities on board.
Oh, let's hope there is no serious sleuthing on that poor twitter fan of Katie's. I am 99% certain that I am completely wrong, but I picture her as very heavy, unkempt, a few teeth left, often in a wheelchair, and perhaps in a care home of some kind. Yes, I know this doesnt mesh with her claims of current pets, but I think Mr. Lights Out is an attendant. Her long walks are likely the care staff helping her take steps up and down the hallways with a walker and a wheelchair follow-behind. The poor thing has nothing else to do and has wigged out over this Kate woman. Well, at any rate, she seems pretty ill both physically and otherwise, and that is not her fault.
She WANTS to spend time with her BFF, hence her fast talk about possibly going on the cruise, but she cant manage it in anyway. I feel bad that what we see on twittime is probably that poor woman's whole life.

Milo never said she couldn't cruise because she uses a wheelchair sometimes. She said that she couldn't get her husband to agree to going.
Milo has spent a lot of time trying to get Kate to engage with her (?) alleged husband, so that he would agree. Or, more likely, so that Milo could manipulate Kate into doing something for Milo, and Milo could get more attention.
It is hubby, not the alleged medical issues, that Milo said keeps Milo from going. But, yeah, the whole Milo thing really smells, even if the only smell is super-insanity.

The show date is October 7, 2010. I don't care to listen to it again so can't tell you what time mark she is @ but the show has various call-ins and she (Milo aka Fired Up 4 Kate) is one of them.
Ms. Middleton has two unfortunate commons with Ms. Krieder. Both set out to land a man with either more money or higher social status, and both seem to have a great aversion to work (see the six years after C left university). The 'jellus' haterz is another one. Yes, there are those plummy morons out there who dislike C and her family for blatant social climbing, or for the fact that the Middleton family has only been rich for 75 years instead of 275. But that is in no way the reasons behind the majority of negative opinions about her. And, like anyone, there are good and bad sides to her. Whereas I'm not sure Ms. Kreider has anything good in her at all.
The argument about not seeing anything bad in the press about them also is a common, I suppose. All of those articles about Ms. Krieder are very much pro. Plus, you must remember that the press needs to stay on the Palace's good side if they want cooperation in the future. Which they definitely do.

I think that false eyelash is hiding behind her hair. She's never really gotten over hiding that part of her face. I think she looks a lot better when her hair is pulled back.
One other thing I always notice from a front shot is that she has one tooth in the middle of her mouth. (I probably wouldn't notice but they're so damn white you can't help but look at them) Same with Tom Cruise.

Milo claims that she (?) is a tiny little thing and said somewhere that she (?) is only about five feet tall. Milo could be 300 lbs and five feet tall, of course.
The most bizarre thing about Milo is the way she (?) toys with Kate. Either Milo is tormenting Kate or attempting to control Kate's behavior for entertainment, or else she (?) is one really sick puppy.
Given the fan base, it could be the latter. Milo gets extra points for persistence, but she might be most dangerous if she is putting on a show for entertainment value. She (?) apparently spends a huge proportion of her life thinking about a woman she (?) claims to have never met. What happens to Milo's life when Kate explodes? Or finally gets off Twitter?
Not sure when you sign up for a cruise, at what point do you not get any money you put down? It is late March and this cruise is supposed to take place in August. That's about 4 months from now with a week or so extra.

I'm still not seeing examples of what Kate M. has done that distinguish her "haters" from any other celeb who just has a small group haters for no good reason, like Justin Beiber, etc. I don't believe the majority of people dislike Kate M. Anytime she has ever been mentioned people talk glowingly. In contrast, when Kate is brought up people usually turn green.
And I disagree, the general perception of Kate Kreider is blllech. Even Kate herself admits this. The two just can't be compared IMO. Also Tamara has made it well known she hates each and every member of the royal family so I think her perception of how the publicly perceives her may be skewed.

She is probably thrilled to pieces. She'll need to go on The Today Show, Live w/ Kelly and The View to "set the record straight". She'll get a limo to NYC, get pampered and get to spend a few days holed up in her favorite hotel with Steve.
I keep hearing it but I guess I've become immune to it because Kate's done it a little too often. What does "set the record straight," mean? Checking in late but with the recent Twitter wars, with photographer and EMT, one kind of has to wonder, when will Kate ever put these kids first? I think she needs to love the kids more than she loves herself, and put them and their feelings first.
Let's face it, the woman has prospered well, with many freebies offered, and huge opportunites offered to her with MANY getting nothing in return. Other than her anger. Maybe it it time that Kate actually take a good look at herself, and how she has profited off her kids. And how she uses pretty much everyone in her life for her ends/needs.

The kids are almost 8 and 11, it is time for momma to step up to the plate and STOP USING THE KIDS THE WAY SHE CLAIMS OTHERS ARE USING HER. I feel terrible for these kids and the lessons she teaches them, not with what she says, but rather what she does. These kids are facing constant humiliation, at their mother's hand, as she always put herself first, above and beyond how all of her antics will affect the kids. You lead by example Kate, not by hollow lazy lame words.
The sad part is I think the kids are old enough to get what a paradox she is in what she says, and what she actually does. And Got only knows all of the lessons they have learned "in house" over the years. Very sad for the kids.

And exactly what is Kate's theory behind why Jon told a story that
1. trashed him
and 2. was available for FREE right on Kate's twitter?
She is dumber than hammers. I don't care if Jon is Mr. Evil it makes no sense he or ANYONE sold that story. None.

Anyone who followed it on twitter could also see where EM Tanner linked her facebook posts to her tweets, which explains the phone call from Jon and all that. But no.......Jon sold the story to the tabloids!
Why don't Bree and the others who so vehemently defend her on every ROL story realize that Kate Gosselin is a laughing stock?
Not to mention, since the story was available all on Kate's twitter, why isn't Kate deleting all these tweets if she doesn't want anyone to write a story about this?
I don't understand why she can't see this entire story came from her and Em directly.
