Kate was spotted at her NYC hotel yesterday with Steve, sure looking a lot more happier and relaxed than she was earlier this week. She's in town to trash talk the children's father....oops, we mean, promote Kate Plus 8, which airs Sunday.
Steve clearly was not very good at his job. Clearly he is more of a bouncer than a "security expert". Seriously, will he ever be able to get a serious security job for a "dignitary" after all this Gossselin Fluff comes to an end? He is nothing but a joke now, as far as personal security goes. I hope he's making a killing from TLC because after being known as "Kate's purse handler." he'll never work for any dignitary again. You have to wonder about his priciples.
"We're just doing what we normally do, no do-overs, no script, don't stage things, blah, blah". Normally Kate? Do you normally take your kids on vacation when TLC isn't footing the bill?
-- unbiased third parties observed otherwise -- you bet there was staging, you bet they scripted out an outline, you bet they did plenty of filming and ordered the children to repeat things . . . . trying to give Kate every benefit of the doubt but this is an out and out lie
I really don't think that Steve is much of a catch, married or unmarried! I think that Kate would set her sights, much, much higher! Perhaps, someone with no kids and lots of money!!!

What does one have to do with the other? Of course Jon was so wrong for saying that. (Of course he said it because she kept throwing him under the bus but that is no excuse.)
Kate is still wrong. One does not excuse the other. Especially since now Jon is supposedly working with her and being amicable.
Katie and RatClaws must be celebrating some kind of anniversary today. Last year at this time they took the kids to Bald Island for a little R&R. Mady caught them smooching. Maybe they'd like to be alone this year.

The Today Show interview this morning - First she sells her kids to the media, then she says she protects them from the media. Does she hear herself? I think she should cut back to just one lie a day and try to stick to it.
It won’t be long now. By early next week, we’ll be able to see the ratings of Sunday night’s Kate+8 and see if her fans and “haters” combined once again to give her the ratings she needs to continue exploiting her children. TLC, Eileen O’Neill and Kate are counting on the “Kate addiction” to make it happen. Sadly, I haven’t seen evidence to the contrary. The “chatter” certainly hasn’t decreased. In fact, it seems to be building to a crescendo while everyone waits for tomorrow night.
TLC found in Kate the perfect vehicle for selling their sleazy, unimaginative, exploiting programming and received an extra bonus when the anti-Kate sites popped up chronicling her every move, checking every low-life gossip rag and spreading the word on a daily basis. The lowest of the low have greatly profited from the Gosselin debacle and they’re working hard to keep the momentum going for as long as possible.
The few voices out there that are begging people not to watch are, for the most part, ignored. The legislation introduced by Rep. Murt isn’t getting near as much attention as Kate’s comings and goings, much to the relief of TLC.
Today should be the day that everyone goes silent. No chatter, gossip, speculating, checking the filthy rag magazines, NO WATCHING KATE. Make it a show of unity and be quiet until after Kate’s special has aired. Find something else to do to occupy your time. Make TLC wonder if they have been wrong. But most importantly, do not contribute to the ratings in any way.
Will it happen? Personally, I don’t believe it will. The Kate addiction is a strong addiction.
TLC is counting on you to keep Kate going. They don’t think you’ll let them down.
In just a few years I have seen Kate go from saying after her free tummy tuck that she never wanted to leave her babies again, to where she seems to be the happiest anywhere but with the kids.
Or in the alternative if she is being paid to spend time with her kids while it is being filmed somewhere other than at home.
This is so wrong to me on so many levels, but the most important thing to remember is that it will be the kids that ultimately bear the pain when they realize that their mother only loves the fame and fortune that came her way because of their mere existence and not because of their company.
Jon was very clear in his interview with Larry King that Steve made him very uncomfortable.
When your husband says hey that person makes me uncomfortable, what is the big deal about letting your bodyguard go and getting another one? Kate could have ANYONE. But she spat in Jon's face and kept Steve, knowing full well Jon was uncomfortable. It was disrespectful, rude, a slap in the face. If there was nothing going on, why not just toss him?
Jon rarely was seen to ask anything of her. The one thing he wanted was Steve gone, but Kate had to have it her way.

Maybe they'd like to be alone this year.
