Jon says he can beat Kate on DWTS

Why does Jon keep mentioning DWTS? Is he gunning for a spot on it, too? He says there is no offer yet, but that he would do better than Kate if he were on.

It's so ironic that Jon is talking all about how he's considering all these projects and trying to do what is best for him and weighing options and biding his time.

The kids don't have that same luxury.

Mimi to 3 said...

I wish Jon would go on DWTS. It wouldn't take much to do better than Kate did. She should have been the first to go. The TLC people kept her on for longer than she should have ever been on. Jon could at least move instead of standing like a statue.

Nobody wants to see Jon and his buhhda gut dancing with the stars, especially since he's NOT a star.

Maybe Jon's next role should be "Say Yes to the Dress"

Jon has a very limited fan base, doesn't he?
I can't believe he would garner enough votes to stay past the first elimination. On the other hand, if he's pathetically bad, he might stay around just for the joke factor.

Don't quite understand all the recent Jon bashing. He's no prince, has made some really douchey choices, but he's a far more caring parent than Kate could ever be. And, Kelly, Jon may be no star, but neither was Kate. Jon's hands were tied by TLC--he either had no income because of their high-powered attorneys compared to his sleazey attorney or he could be paid to shut up. I don't know anyone who can live on zero income. I think he tried and never stood a chance. The kids are not being filmed as often as they were thanks to Jon. At least Jon actually touches, plays with, and genuinely enjoys his children and they have happy faces when they are with him. TLC is too big, too powerful, too manipulative, too controlling and totally corrupt and needs to be held accountable and brought down. End of rant.

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said...

Jon is a much better parent than Kate, I agree with you Judy. I am glad he stopped filming for a time and I'm glad they are not filming as much now. But I refuse to buy that his hands were tied. That's what he wants us to think because he copped out. He chose money.

Seriously how do these parents think everybody else in America who is not famous does it? You take some classes to update your training and you start applying for jobs. You don't give up. You collect unemployment or do a job you don't really like in the meantime if you have to. The economy was terrible when I graduated as it has been for awhile. I sent out at least 50 resumes and cover letters. I know attorneys who sent out five times that. Reality TV was not an option for me.

Sorry, I refuse to believe they "had no choice" but to pimp out the kids.

Kelly said...

After watching that interview, Jon actually believes that he is a sought after, marketable personality that network execs are pining for whenever he shows up in town.

He wants everyone to believe he is out there, in L.A. to see friends but when the network execs and producers find out that Jon is gracing the west coast soil of Tinsletown, they scramble to arrange meetings with him and with his sharp business mind (NOT) they are pushing opportunities for him to consider for future endeavors.

If you believe this, or anything he says, I'll solve the problem of world hunger right now. Mr. Business man that he is, walked away from a 24 acre 5 bedroom home to live in a one bedroom rented apartment in Reading. Mr. Businessman squandered his kids money on cars, women, booze, clothing and lavish trips.

THe talented and sharp as a tack business mind that he has, (NOT) agreed to pay his ex 22,000 per month in child support for the next 12 years, at least, and he can't even afford to keep his 2005 BMW M3, that he bought used.

Oh, I'm sure there are business opportunities for Jon Gosselin, just as there were for Eleana Bobbits husband after she literally severed his manhood on night in an angry rage. John Bobbit ended up doing porn.

I'm not sure Jon Gosselin would be any perverts idol on the porn screen but he lacks credibility, honesty, looks, physique, talent and morals and a few other things you need to make it as a legitimate actor.

Maybe Jon can join forces with Spencer Pratt and the two of them can wish they were stars in their left hand, crap in their right hand and let the world know which hand fills up first.

How do the sheeple explain Kate estranging all these people? They were all toxic?

I just don't like what it teaches the kids, that when someone does or says something you disagree with you should just cut them out of your life instead of trying to deal with the problem with them. Some people SHOULD be cut out that's true, but not everyone.

Agreed. That's the bottom line. Maybe they were naive at the beginning and then got caught up in the lifestyle and fame, but all along the way they had choices. They have choices now. Each day presents them with an opportunity to choose differently. We can clearly see what their choices have been and what they are currently. We all make hard choices all the time. They have no excuse.

fidosmommy said...

My understanding is that Jon was not allowed to anything media-related. If he wanted to take a
refresher course in IT and resume his work in that field, he could. If he wanted to go to classes on selling insurance, he could.
Just not on TV or making public appearances.

It's so sad that he truly seems to believe his only future is in the media. It is fleeting, unless you are truly talented and have a huge
fan base -- and learn how to invest instead of spend. Jon is becoming pathetic, IMO.

Kates not a star either Kelly. But then agin maybe in her own mind she is. She does have a body guard the follows her around like a puppy dog.

I cant believe Kate thinks she has a big future in the media. The kids are going to grow up one day.

Anonymous said...

pimping out the kids made them some big bucks. Oh and Katie wants to be a big movie star one day. If that fails she can get the kids a movie deal.

Kate and Jon are like those people who won't get out of a domestic violence relationship because they have no choice. Or they continue to use drugs and alcohol because they have no choice. Or they drop out of college becuase they have no choice.

Sorry, that's just pathetic. Take charge of your own life.

Would he do better than Kate? Dancing wise. Yes.

If Jon were on DWTS, I think he would do really well. He's shown himself to be quite athletic and is a hard worker when given direction. There have been many articles/statements about Jon being very friendly also.

This has nothing to do with him as an exploitive parent or a D-list celeb wannabe, just regarding a hypothetical stint on DWTS.

Jon and Kate, IMO, are a match made in heaven, too bad there's 8 little kids that have to pay for their fame whoring ways. And the emotional scars they get along the way will be gifts that keep on giving all the days of their lives. Unfortunately.

Niecy Nash has alot of personality and she's actually quite funny. Not to forget to mention, she does hast a national tabloid show and has her own series plus she is a comedian. Jon has none of these talents.

Exactly, Kate never tried to save her marriage. She filed for divorce when TLC offered her a show (Kate Plus 8). Months after Jon complained that he didn't want to continue with Season 5.

Kate left Jon on Oct. 2008.
Divorced was announced on June 2009.
TLC announces Kate Plus 8 on Sept 2009.
Kate bragged about knowing about the name change for several months before it was announced on her Polyvore account.

Here is a screen cap I took...

http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/9165/capturehk.jpg

I got many PM's asking why I changed the group name to Kate + 8, WELL NOW YOU KNOW WHY! If you haven't heard the news, TLC decided to release the new name for the show today, though we have known about the change for months now!

Her polyvore account has since been deleted.

You must remember Kate, long before the tups were even born, had decided she wanted a large brood to hawk them out to the highest bidder. The twins of course, weren't enough to garner attention. I doubt Jon had any idea of what Kate had in mind. He was just direction-less and quite happy to let Kate make all the decisions. I'm convinced that's why Kate set her sights on him. She could pull the wool over his eyes, without any problem. Her plan was starting to take hold. I will never be convinced that Kate didn't do something shady when her ovaries were hyperstimulated and the dr. ordered her to the hospital. She went home first and she and Jon had sex, and lo and behold, again, she got what she wanted. Not til after the tups were born, IMO did Jon learn of her plans to approach networks to get them on the TV somehow or another. He was at his job w/the cabinet making co., stating he'd never have to work again. That's when he made his first 'big' choice.

My point is, of course they had choices, but Kate had a devious plan in mind, long before the tups were even conceived, and nothing was going to thwart her plans. Nothing has changed all these years later. She wants to be rich, and nothing will change that. I think it will be quite interesting if and when she is no longer relevant. I hope to see that happen. IMO, that woman is pure evil. Sorry if that's crass, I really believe it.

One for the Buddha said...

Right. I wasn't commenting on her personality, but rather on the fact that Jon wouldn't be the only contestant on DWTS to have an issue with weight.

Its like he thinks well Kate has done this so I will do it too. Follow the leader Jon...you couldnt take it when she made you follow the leader while you were married. ABC would be stupid to put him on with as much bad PR that he has gotten. He would do anything to try to make Kate look bad.

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said...

I don't think ABC would be able to resist the gimmick of Kate on this season and Jon on the next. And honestly what good celebrities are really left willing to do this show? I'm betting he gets an offer.

I have to admit I would love to recap that whole campy mess again.

I'm not defending Jon but quite frankly I'm surprised he doesn't speak out more and try to school Kate more often.

Kate bashes him left and right...of course it's always very subtle. "Certain ones" call the paparazzi and the kids had "gum and cupcakes" in Daddy's one bedroom apartment and slept on the floor....but come off it, we all know what she is doing getting in the subtle jabs left and right continuing to portray him as a total douchebag loser without fear he will ever throw her under the bus and expose all her crap in turn.

I really don't know how he does it. Either love for kids, or TLC is really paying him big bucks to keep his mouth shut.

To me, if Kate is trying to undermine Jon with these comments, she's failed.
Thought cupcakes were all the rage right now. With cupcakes, each of the kids can have their own personal cake.
Don't understand her aversion to gum. She constantly chews it like a cow chewing it's cud.
Heavens, Kids in Sleeping Bags! My kids and all their friends always thought doing sleepovers in sleeping bags was cool. Kids love sleeping bags.

She's just ticked the kids are out of the house and she can't control what they are doing and saying.

I didn't watch the clip but I think Jon *would* do better. He's more athletic. Also, he likes people more than Kate, so he'd get along. Of course the tabloids would have him sleeping with his partner as soon as he was assigned one.

I have heard that TLC is paying Jon $5000 per month and Jon is paying child support of $20,000 per month. I don't know if the first is true and I don't know if the second is *possible.* I know the math doesn't work out, but then again, I don't know if he had savings or investments from the show or if he got part of the book money in the divorce.

For that matter, I belive this blog as well as hundreds of others out there are respites for those who want to vent their frustation with the exploitation of the children and the free pass she and her ex get in doing so. If this bothers you, perhaps you will find another avenue to hold class in as I really didn't ask for your lesson plan today.

Anonymous said...

If it bothered me, I wouldn't be here. It doesn't bother me at all. And rarely do people on this blog or others vent about the exploitation of the children. It is usually about Kate's hair, boobs, shoes, etc. For the record, I DON'T think the kids should be filmed. I think it is an extreme invasion of their privacy.

Stacey

Kelly said...

And those who bring up the subject of Kates hair and Kate's boobs are always venting about the children working. They're beyond pissed that this woman lives off the backs of 6 year olds and claims to struggle when the fact is, she's living larger than anyone of us here.

If she wants to be a star, by all means, go out and achieve that goal on her own merits, not the sweat and tears of kids that still can't tie their shoes.

The hair, the boobs, the house, the travel, the perks are all from the earnings of those children and if you and others can't see that, you probably haven't paid your cable tv bill in a long time.

Anonymous said...

Not everything she does has to do with the kids. She did DWTS. That was on her own. She wrote books. Yes, they were about her children, but many people write books about their children but they aren't crucified. There are many reality TV shows with kids on them but they are not crucified. If people were really upset about exploitation of kids on TV then they would be upset about ALL kids on reality TV. And that would be the focal point of their rants. But 9 times out of 10 people are talking about things unrelated to the kids being exploited.

Some people can be angry that the kids are on TV but not resort to childish name calling.

Stacey

Anonymous said...

I'm a little tired of the argument that anyone upset about the Gosselins is not credible because they should be upset about all reality TV children. First of all, from what I see here everyone is concerned about ALL reality children. Problem is the Gosselins have become the most extreme example of children on reality TV that we have by a long shot. I can't think of very many other shows who have gone on this long....maybe the Duggars and the Roloffs, but those shows are different from the Gosselins in so many ways--beginning with much fewer episodes each season and those families have other jobs other than working off their kids and the vast majority of the children are much older and spend much less time on camera. And they actually seem to be living their lives 90% of the time.

You can maybe point to one or two examples of other reality families doing something questionable to their kids, like the Duggars filming their preemie in the NICU. But I can point to 100 examples of the Gosselins doing something questionable to their kids.

I am concerned about ALL reality children. But do I see the kind of unhappiness (Mady: I'll just die) and exploitation going on on other shows...no, I don't.

This really is the whole point of reality TV laws and entertaintment laws. Are some parents well able to protect their kids absent laws? Absolutely. The Roloffs and Duggars may just be those parents. But are other parents greedy and take advantage? YES, like the Gosselins. The Gosselins are why we need laws for ALL families, so that no other family is permitted to go down the frightening route they did.

We have laws against many things, like murdering and stealing. It does not mean everyone has to be a murderer or a thief for there to be good reasons to have laws in place. It does not mean every reality parent has to exploit their children for their to be a reason for laws in that area as well.

Kelly said...

She wrote her latest book about her children and compromised a sacred trust between a parent and a child, and young children for that matter who didn't get the same opportunity to respond to that ridiculous tome.

She did DWTS because it paid big bucks so why not just say, "I did it for the money". NOPE, Kate like Kate always does, says, "Everything I do, I do for my kids" Ergo, the boob job. How does that benefit the kids? Do they get to float on them in the family swimming pool? Actually, do they EVER get to go in the family swimming pool? They're always paraded in the driveway for the latest press release.

People are upset about the children on television and ALL children on reality television who don't have a voice or a veto power to say, NO, I DON'T WANT TO DO THIS.

There are people like Paul Peterson, Rep Murt from PA who are leading the charge to correct these wrongs that are being perpetrated every day with their desire to cash in at their kids expense.

NO one has resorted to childish name calling. People are merely CALLING out Kate for her lies, maniuplation, exploitation and are quite vocal about it. When she stops back peddaling and says, I LOVE THE LIFESTYLE, instead of saying, THE KIDS ARE PLAYING, We're just filming, I think people will give her a break and the kids will get the break they deserve.

Until that day comes, people are going to be on her like white on rice and continue to call her out for the famewhore she is, the damage she is doing to these kids in their formative years and they have that right to do it.

TheresaB said...

Stacy, we care about the exploitation of all kids. This blog, and others, have made that very clear.
We care about the Duggar kids and the Masche Kids and the Jones kids. We care about all the kids on the Real Housewife shows on BRAVO. We want laws covering ALL kids and the laws that are being brought by Murth will cover ALL kids in reality tv, not just this family.

Sometimes, our frustration with watching the kids get work permits and then taken out of school for trips to LA and Florida and spending their free time WORKING, we can relieve some stress by snarking on things like her ridiculous lies and, yes, her hair and boobs. it happens. We admit it's silly and immature but it makes us laugh through the tears of watching 8 little lives being destroyed. Ok. That was a bit overdramatic. sorry.

Kelly said...

Every single reality entertainment show on televison has a judge or a referee. Every sport has a judge or an umpire or referee. They get the right to call a foul, kick someone off or kick someone out.

The Gosselin kids have no judge, no referee, no one holding up placards giving them a score or looking out for their welfare. The ones who should be doing that are the parents, yet the parents have run roughshod over these kids for the past several years.

These kids don't get a bye, a day off, injured reserve list, sent back to the minors or fired. They are continuously paraded out in front of the world, wether or not they are sick, constipated, have the flu, upset stomach, aren't feeling up to it, act out and rebel or hide their tiny faces from the cameras.

There is no judge, no ref, no umpire and no timeout for these kids. EVER. They are small people in a sweatshop that is run without union benefits and controlled by the very people who should be protecting them.

Anonymous said...

I think you nailed it, Kelly. Your last paragraph. "Calling her out for the famewhore she is." You dislike KATE, not what she is doing to her kids. Yes, you probably don't agree with it; but if that's all it was you would be organizing protests about Tori Spellings kids, or the Duggars, or the others. But you aren't.

And for the record, I DON'T THINK THE GOSSELIN KIDS SHOULD BE FILMED. I think when Jon and Kate split they should have gotten off the air. It shouldn't have been filmed. Divorce is hard enough on kids without it being televised.

And about going on DWTS. I happen to believe that was for her kids. For her, too. But how many things do we do for our kids but we actually enjoy it? I don't see how she's any different.

She used the drama of the paps , how much she missed her 8! count em 8! kids, how she has to do DWTS to support her 8! count em 8! kids, blah blah, blah to garner sympathy votes.

Also , K8 did not write 3 books. Her former friend Beth wrote MB. #2 and #3 cannot even be classified as books from the comments I have read.

And regarding the name-callling : I've always subscribed to the theory that if it walks and talks like a lying-selfish-narcissistic-greedy biatch,then......well, I'm sure you can figure out the rest.

I am so sad for the Gosselin children because they will never know that their childhoods were stolen to pay for their mother's boobs. And , my concern is not limited to the Gosselin kids - I do not think kids should be in reality tv, period.

I can't fight every fight out there regarding the thousands of other families doing the same for their children. We are a small voice here that may or may not attract attention of those we elect or those with bigger shoes that may take up the cause and take it to the next level.

It's the small voices that begin to speak that join with the other small voices that begin to build a crowd and from there you have a stadium filled with small voices making big noises and then the rest of the public begins to take notice. That's how change is made.

Every nasty thing said about her is relative to the kids, because if it wasn't for those eight kids, or actually the sextuplets, no one would know who the hell Katie Gosselin was. She certainly wouldn't be on magazine covers, the View, Oprah, Ellen, Jimmy Kimmel, Inside Edition or DWTS because she's an incredibly talented woman. She is void of any and all talent it takes to be a "star". She'd still be a nurse and probably a whining, complaining, bitchy nurse at that, who goes home after the shift to verbally abuse her husband while he rubs her feet.

It funny they have Kate alone shoping on radar. I guess Jon and the nannys have the kids. Why cant Kate watch her kids alone when theyre not filming them? she has never taken care of her kid without help.

DWTS was a perfect display of Kate's lack of any work ethic. Did you by chance NOTICE Stacey, that everyone on the show worked their arse's off to improve, put on a good program for the viewers, etc. Kate showed up, she did nothing else. She is shameless and lazy. She'd much rather live off the sweat of her kids' brows, than break a sweat of her own.

I think it was downright insulting Kate was only willing to rehearse four or six hours a day and cancelled practices to boot.

I bet you Shannon Doherty would have loved to put in 16 hour days for many more weeks so her dad could see her dance.

I just dislike the parents because they are out to be famous and nothing they have done is for the kids, especially when them two went in front of cameras backlashing each other constantly last year...I thought it would never end...hope her show flops and she can stay in PA and raise her kids quietly till they attend college or get married, which ever comes first..

I agree. She couldn't stick with practicing because it was work. She was very rude to her partner and blamed her lack of skill on him. The woman is gauche. She has the manners of a viking. I'm surprised Tony lasted as long as he did with her without giving her a good swift kick in the ass.

I don't think ABC would be able to resist the gimmick of Kate on this season and Jon on the next. And honestly what good celebrities are really left willing to do this show?

I'm betting he gets an offer.

--------------------------------------------

On ET or THE INSIDER - before DWTS started - there was a segment with the gal who picks the celebrities to star on DWTS. She was specifically asked if she would have Jon on next season and her response was along the lines of: "No, I'm not going to go there".

At the time I knew that thanks to Kate throwing the father of her children under the bus at every golden opportunity, as well as the stories in the rag mags, Jon was thought of as a cheating husband so of course ABC would stay away from Jon with all the negative publicity. But now that Kate did her stint on DWTS with the alleged increased ratings, even I wonder if ABC will reconsider their position about having Jon on as a future contestant.

HEADS UP ABC - I do NOT want to see Jon on DWTS - or any other TV show for that matter - because I just want Jon and Kate OFF MY TV.

Even if Jon can dance, he has nothing to offer "star wise". He is just a guy who does not want to go out and get a real job. Besides both Jon and Kate have run out of their alloted 15 minutes and the sooner these breeders realize that there is no demand for them, the sooner the kids will be off my TV too and back into a private childhood.

This reminds me of Oswald's statement when they asked him if he shot the President. His response was, "No, I have not been charged with that." He didn't say that he wasn't the assassin, but simply that no, there were no charges brought. Likewise, if she said, "No, I am not going there," she's not denying that he is going to be a contestant, but simply that she's not going to talk about it.

Are cell phones/gas station explosions still a risk? I heard newer models of cell phones have some newer designs that isn't going to cause a spark or explosion.

I still leave my phone behind in the car when I pump because I'm paranoid like that. And yes many gas stations have NO CELL PHONES signs.

I agree. I didn't watch any of the new show Kate is on. I stopped watching any clips of her because the way she acts is just annoying now. And I'm actually surprised that I don't even have the urge to watch her specials on youtube.

This is an excerpt from The Goodhousekeeping article from back in Oct 08 (after the phony vow renewal trip to HI) I had totally forgotten about this part. Kate is a SICKO, IMO. Big Time.

The time she dreads? She admits that a house full of 13-year-olds is a little "too painful to think about." But the period that really concerns her is the day they all leave home. "I'm already worried about that empty-nest syndrome," she says. "Just as they came in a big group and overwhelmed us, they will likely leave in a big group, and the quiet will be even more deafening. Thus, our plan to adopt a tagalong."

That's right: They've looked into adopting a child from South Korea. "But we're over the kid limit," says Kate. Couples who have more than four children are generally ineligible to adopt from that country. "We only have double the amount you are supposed to have!" says Jon wryly.

"I know I'm crazy," Kate says. "But the desire [for another child] will not leave me. When you have eight, what’s one more?" Kate then pauses, looks at Jon, and adds with a smile: "And then that would be it, for the record."

But that aside, back to Kate's big toe....LOL.

IMHO regarding Jon and DWTS maybe he thinks he'll have the same luck as Kart. Whenever she wants something, she announces it to the media and bam her wish is granted. Maybe Jon thinks that will work for him if he says he'd like to be on DWTS?

I for one would love to know how tight TLC has Jon tied. I would be willing to bet that he can say nothing bad about the shows, that he cannot say anything bad about Kate, and last they have a say about what employment he can have. I would venture to say that most companies would want nothing to do with him because of the baggage he would bring along. He would be a disruption in almost all work enviroments. I am curious as to why everyone thinks he is so fat? He is not a skinny man to be sure, but I think bashing him because of his body is childish to say the least. Whether or not he has a gut has no bearing on his ability to parent. He has been shown to be an active man, participating in athletic type activiites and involving his kids in getting off the couch (or off the driveway) I think the way he is acting lately has a lot more to do with TLC than with him.

That is a good question and can be asked about photos of Kate too. How many more photos will they take of Kate pumping gas, shopping at Target, arriving for her mani/pedi, and directing children and camera crews in the driveway.

I would hazard a guess and say the photos will go away when there is no more interest generated in them. Looking for the latest photos and then posting that link, and having a conversation about them has become quite a form of internet entertainment.

As Admin said above regarding the enjoyment factor, “More traffic is more fun sure but you don't need to have an outrageous amount to enjoy things.

When it’s not fun anymore, and by the looks of things it’s so darn fun that it will no doubt continue for a long time to come, prepare yourself for more of the same, day in and day out, because photos are coming pretty fast and furious these days.

The general consensus here seems to be that as long as Kate (and Jon, apparently but to a lesser degree) continue doing what they’re doing, the blogging will continue as though enough blogging will eventually shame Kate, TLC and Jon into “behaving.” Well, Kate and TLC certainly aren’t going anywhere as long as there’s money to be made, nor will the paps and the gossip mags publishing the barrage of photos.

Hi Laura D.,

I wish they would have Jon on DWTS. I like Jon. He is not the smartest guy on the block, but, I think he is likeable. Sometimes, I think he says some dumb stuff, but, who doesn't put their foot in their mouth on occasion. We get to try and forget it when it happens, he's on tv. He certainly wasn't prepared for this.

I read an interview with Genie Francis. She's a soap star....Laura of "Luke and Laura" on General Hospital. This was maybe a year ago. Anyway, she said that the DWTS people were trying to get her and her husband, Johnathan Frankes from Star Trek, both to do DWTS at the same time. They also tried to get Donnie and Marie Osmand at the same time. I'm a little surprised they did not try to get Jon and Kate together. And, I wouldn't be surprised if Jon is on next season.

I'd like to see either of them on Survivor, or even better The Amazing Race as partners. haha! I don't think they are going anywhere any time soon. Am I sick of Kate? Absolutely! And, I do not watch Kate plus 8 or anything on TLC any more. But, Maybe, there are enough other reality shows out there to even keep the G's going....if TLC allows. I wonder if they could become reality show stars by being on reality shows. You know like some of those older actors and comediennes (Charles Nelson Reilley, etc.) who were on game shows over and over. Maybe, they could be a newer version of those stars, just reality show stars. A new breed?

Anyway, have a good Father's Day everyone!

Well, here it is Father's Day and ROL doesn't have a single pic of Jon w/ his kids (even though we know that's where they are), yet ROL/TLC never miss a front yard photo op w/ Kate and the kids even BEFORE the actual holiday. They even have Kate out shopping alone yesterday since Jon has the kids--guess Kate picking up the endless packages/mail is more newsworthy than Father's Day. Very, very interesting and REVEALING perspective. TLC, you are fooling NO ONE. I so wish there was a way to take them to Court for their PROFITEERING and manipulation.

JudyK said...

Hey, Lucy, I'd rather see Jon any day of the week than to see one more pic of that shrew of an ex-wife. Jon is genuinely friendly, doesn't show much discretion, if any, but then again he doesn't purport to be anything other than what he is. In other words, he is not a LIAR and Kate IS. I have no problem with Pamela Anderson for the same reason--she is what she is and doesn't pretend to be something more. I have a helluva lot more respect for both Jon Gosselin and Pamela Anderson than I could ever have for Kate Gosselin, who I consider to be the most despicable person to ever appear on reality t.v.

I agree with Diane. I like Jon. Sure he has acted dopey this last year, but it's like he has been freed from the evil grasp of Kate. He hasn't hurt his children, he loves them. Kate has taken every opportunity to bash him. I hope he goes on DWTS. I will definitely watch and vote for him. Anything he can do to succeed and stick it to Kate is good news. She deserves it. And by the way, he deserves some good things after the way the media has spotlighted and protected Kate this last year.

I agree with the poster who posted this. Seriously folks, it is not rocket science to come up with an alias.

For the record, Mickey McKean is NOT my real name. It is, however, the real name of the dog who is in the photo.

Prior to that "Mickey" was my mother's nickname when she was a cheerleader in a PA high school back in the 1940's, ya know, right after Mickey Mouse was "born".

Which means Dear Sheriff if you are reading this blog too that McKean is the real family name. So if you are going to have your P.I. track me down you should start at the beginning: I'm related to the Thomas McKean who signed the Declaration of Independence back in 1776 :)

Perhaps that's because you don't live in the same community. For us, it's much more than a blip. Of course, Paul Petersen doesn't live in the neighborhood -- he's across the country, and yet he cared enough to made the trip to PA to testify in a hearing in the hopes that all children on reality television would be protected by the enactment of new laws. For him, who has no personal stakes in this situation, it also was more than a blip.

Kelly, you have every right to watch whatever program you wish. Just like Oprah and LK and the tabloid news programs can talk about anyone they wish, including Kate. I was just letting you know, since you seemed not to, that you do not HAVE to watch her. And I am not being smug, by any means. I am also not hiding my identity any more than you are. My name is not anon, but any name I put is not going to be my real one anyway.

Anonymous,
She's easy to avoid if you don't watch the news, Entertainment Tonight, Dancing with the Stars, Oprah, Good Morning America, Larry King Live, Inside Edition, The Insider or for that matter, shopping in the supermarket and while standing in the checkout aisle, her plastic face is staring right back at you with that big wide grin filled with piano keys. Live would be "EASY PEASY" if she wasn't shoved down our throats day in and day out. Easy Peasy backatcha

Jon burned his bridge with TLC. He went against his contract. They have no reason to trust him.

Jon is just as bad as Kate. He has TV aspirations too. They both see how easy it was and neither one of them is going to give it up easily. Hell all Kate did was mention DWTS and it work for her …. why not Jon … throwing hands in the air …. at least the Boo Hoo drama won’t play out every week.

ABC loved Kate's bad press. Beating her kids, etc. so why wouldn't they want Jon, THE LIKABLE ONE, on their show.
I will watch and Vote!
Team Jon.

I got many PM's asking why I changed the group name to Kate + 8, WELL NOW YOU KNOW WHY! If you haven't heard the news, TLC decided to release the new name for the show today, though we have known about the change for months now!

Her polyvore account has since been deleted.

"Nobody wants to see Jon and his buhhda gut dancing with the stars,"

Niecy Nash wasn't exactly a skinny mini and she lasted pretty darn long.

Kate and Jon are like those people who won't get out of a domestic violence relationship because they have no choice. Or they continue to use drugs and alcohol because they have no choice. Or they drop out of college becuase they have no choice.

Sorry, that's just pathetic. Take charge of your own life.

Kates not a star either Kelly. But then agin maybe in her own mind she is. She does have a body guard the follows her around like a puppy dog.

Nobody wants to see Jon and his buhhda gut dancing with the stars, especially since he's NOT a star.

Maybe Jon's next role should be "Say Yes to the Dress"
