"That meant she'd have peace and quiet, because he wasn't going to need anything from her. And she scooped him up and turned him upside down while he giggled."

She said Joel was an easy child to raise. So he'll go along with her.

The show should be called College and Crabby.

Maybe Katie Coyne finally got a conscience or doesn't have the power at People anymore. That would be great if Jon's latest revelations cancelled an article.

I hope to God Collin and Hannah never see this episode and never read any recaps. That's all I'm going to say. The final 5 minutes are chilling and horrifying.

I know you didn't mean it this way, but I took your comment as a dare, so I went to the bootleg version and watched the end. OMG.

Though they try hard to portray her as a youthful, with-it mom, the amount of make-up on her face ("CAAARAAAA! Bring me the spatula!") in the couch segments and the platinum blonde they've lavished on her hair make her look just ... unnatural and, if I may, comical.

Second, with respect to what she says during her "heartfelt" [pretend] goodbye to her twins, she drones on and on about the "difficulties" they've all faced in the last few years---as if what has happened had NOTHING whatsoever to do with HER. I know her kids have been kept away from the tabloids (and, certainly, from the truth), but seriously: Does she really believe no one will have seen the actual court records (mostly published by ROL) that have led to the "difficult" periods? Does she in no way acknowledge that the degree of "difficulty" during these times was largely due to HER behavior? Does she really expect that she will never be held accountable for anything?

I hope this is truly the end for her and the kids on TV. I don't think anyone could walk away from this episode (and, especially, K8's summing-up) without feeling that this family has been utterly destroyed, and that all it took is one very big narcissist and a TV network to do it. You cannot possibly watch Kate saying anything anymore without questioning what version of "reality" she's on.

I hope TLC will spring for the lifelong therapy this bitch is going to need---well, if she ever acknowledges she needs it. She's got a long, slow, "difficult" reckoning coming, especially if she in any way truly values her relationships with her children. None of them will ever forget what she did to Collin, nor will they ever forgive her for forcing them to behave as if they'd never had a Collin in the family.

Without or without the show I gather that this family and these children, their relationships would have been like this and fallen apart regardless because Kate raised them. And this is Kate and her behavior. So I suppose television only hastened this perhaps.

TLC must not be buying the comment bot on K8's IG anymore. Only 210 in over 9 hours? LOL.

And, curiously, the number of IG followers has actually fallen by 100-125 since this morning. What's that about, K8?! It's been steadily rising all day, every day, all summer. Is someone cleaning house?
