If you read here, please consider that no matter what you do/say/fabricate about Jon, your children know the truth about what kind of Dad he really is. Ultimately, they may not be able to forgive you for how you have tried to remove him from their lives by painting him as something he is not.
I noticed on Bethenny that Kate seldom smiled and her upper lip did not move when she spoke. She has this cold stare and I cannot imagine her as a TV host. And again, the hand flapping. This has got to be an indication of lying.
For sure she has had a nose job. It is thinner and that is not the result of weight loss.
After all of the press she's been doing these numbers should be way up. Do the sales include the books she's given away on various talk shows?

What a delusional person she is. She has NO idea who she is or what it takes to be successful (in just about anything).
Talking about her book she says:

I believe that both Jon and Kate have put money aside in trust for their kids. I also believe (as a child of a spiteful divorce) that they put it into two different trusts because they can not work together for anything.
The difference is that Jon did it (I think) during the divorce because he wanted the kids to have their money because it was the right thing to do. TFW only did it after the law was passed and she HAD to. Not because she had her children's best interests at heart.
This is why, imo, their motivations for sharing this private-none-of-our-business-business are so different. Jon shares this information to defend himself because he is being slammed as a deadbeat dad when he is not. If the media left him alone, (if his exwife would leave him alone!) he would not have just come out and talked about this.
Whereas TFW, when she feels like she needs to do a "kinder, gentler Kate" tour, is sure to mention how awesome she is in caring for her children financially. And all by herself! (after the law made her do it, but we won't mention that!)
The question viewers need to ask themselves is who is trying to manipulate you and why?
Oh, and I totally think that her choice of dress was a purposeful choice also to manipulate and that the "bodyguard" one of the people holding the strings in this puppet show.

Those kids EARNED their own MONEY. It should have been put into a fund for them to have with NO STRINGS ATTACHED. It's THEIRS. It's not an inheritance or a windfall, they WORKED for it and will be paying for it for the rest of their lives.
Has she somehow ensured that if college doesn't happen, they won't get the money? Wouldn't put it past her.

When the interviewer asked if Jon paid child support, all of a sudden she's now saying she can't talk about it. WTF? Does that mean she'll stop using the line about being the "sole supporter" of the children?

Executive producers are Terence Noonan who did same job for Anderson Live, admin boyfriends show. Now they're not allowed to? HUH? She had no trouble in the past releasing all kinds of statements about how he doesn't pay a cotton picking cent (always conveniently leaving out the change in custodial arrangements that immediately preceded the corresponding mandated by law change in child support.)

This article really was making fun of her, sort of baffled WHY she is trying SO hard to get back in the public eye--while at the same time trying to be fair. Just thinking about Kate still wanting to be a Hollywood star. For ratings on shows that are tanking, she can get guest spots on rag talk shows but then comments about that show start rolling in about Kate and how much she is despised. She is essentially poison to any producer who might be considering her to do a "bossy mom role" in a movie. If it leaks out before the movie is made, the negative comments will begin and the producer will undoubtedly be thinking twice.
The problem with Kate's dream of stardom is that people want her to just be a mom to those 8 kids she orchestrated the birth of to get famous in the first place. Yes, Angelina has a lot of kids and is a star but she was one before the kids and she actually has talent so you NEVER hear anyone bitching about her. What has Kate got?

Stay at home moms are watching daytime TV. Hollywood works and doesn't have time. Their job is to get you ON the shows not sit there and listen to your pitch on the show. That's what meetings and phone calls are for.

In seriousness, I really think she could benefit from a very highly skilled therapist who could help her at least move on from this. She needs to move on. She is embarrassing herself and her children. Her TV career is over and the entire industry is laughing at her. Nothing better than what she used to have will likely ever happen again. The won the lottery, now it's over. My fear is that her constant dwelling on trying to get the past back could severely impact her children. Her children have a right to a life that looks forward, not backward. It is their right.

It cracks me up when she says she wants to do voices for animation. She's said that before. Her voiceovers on her show were TERRIBLE. They sounded like a 3rd grader reading out loud.

I don't know if I have ever mention this but when I was young I had a major fall at work. It was pretty serious. They removed bone particles and I have plates and pins in my arms. The doctor informed me I would have chronic arthritis as I got older. He was right to the point that I can't even open a bottle of water now. That's why sometimes I post short comments thinking that everyone gets the the point.

Kate didn't talk about the book at all in the article. It was only mentioned twice by the author of the article.
All the PR that HCI and Kim Weiss arranged for Kate was supposed to be about promoting the book. But Kate's true colors come out and reveal that she was using them in the hope that all her appearances would lead to a TV gig, and the book became an afterthought.
Kate will continue to be her own worst enemy.

It's just weird how the two of them have stuck together through the years. Just like a broken clock is right twice a day, a compulsive liar once in awhile speaks the truth. TFW can dream all she wants, but she's had numerous second chances. DWTS is a time proven "second chance" for many faded stars, and those that play it right, can end up with a boost back into the spotlight. For those like TFW, unwilling or unable to put real effort into that golden opportunity, it just provides a one-time big paycheck and back they go to obscurity. The silver lining here is that TFW is not willing or able to put in the hard work necessary for a career in show business.

I am so sorry to hear this. I hope that some day shortly in the future, your state will revise it's decision. Obviously, that depends on who is running things at your state legislature. I was able to sign up for affordable healthcare the other day, which will kick in the first of 2014, through California's health insurance exchange. Right now, I have high risk insurance through the feds, at $366/month. (And that's actually a good deal compared to Kaiser coverage at over $600/month for my age!). With this new plan, I get Kaiser coverage for less than $100/month (my out of pocket cost).
I pray your state leaders will allow you to at least have the same choice.

I agree with you. I believe Kate ended up with the bulk of the earnings from the show, plus what she made from the first (most successful) book. Not to mention, the income from Kate +8, income from DWTS, and whatever she got paid by CWS. If she planned well, she could live on that income for quite some time, quite comfortably.
She craves the fame and all that comes with it. The spotlight, cameras snapping her picture, talking to the camera, having a bodyguard, going to premieres and wearing designer dresses. All the perks. One problem among many is that she doesn't want to deal with the downsides of fame - the long hard slog of work that is required, the "putting on a good face" to your public. Not to mention, she has absolutely no talent. Can't dance, can't sing, can't focus on an interviewee, can't act, can't carry a show, can't cook, can't treat people decently, can't avoid lying, can't care for or love anyone but herself.

Hang with me for a minute on this.
It stuck in my brain that when Bethany asked Kate a question and Kate turned to Steve before responding something was different somehow. That was the first interview where it was mentioned about Steve helping her through a question. Then I flashed back on the scene where Kate and Steve are in the limo, Kate is crying, clearly upset because she didn’t want go to DWTS rehearsals. Steve over and over again told Kate that SHE not HE had to make the decision.
What happened between the limo ride (what 2 years ago?) and the Bethany interview. For a while people on this blog (me included) have speculated that Kate might have a mental disorder(s). We won’t know for sure until she is diagnosed and the truth is revealed to the public (if ever). I’m going to skip past the mental disorder theory and think about what else is happening.
Steve NOT Kate made the decision on the Bethany show for Kate to say what she did. Has Kate become so lost that she can’t make a decision. Has all the pressure of the lawsuits and lack of Hollywood job finally gotten to her and she is falling down the hill now. Has the fact that everything she has tried has failed to net her anything of significance playing a part on this. And, she keeps spinning her wheels trying and trying and nothing happens.
She goes through the motions of what worked before; smiling, the kids, bash Jon, look turned out for an interview (hair, makeup, clothes, nails, etc) and yet the media doesn’t care. IMO she’s probably in her bedroom going what have I done that I can’t get a job, what do I need to do to get a job, who can I call (call’s aren’t returned).
She wants to return to her glory days when people and the media didn’t pull back the curtain to see what was really going on. The lawsuits (if they go to court) will further erode Kate’s life. The life she so carefully built and still wants to have. What will happen then?
There is ONE role perfectly suited to TFW on the small screen, no acting ability required: the mother from hell. I hope she doesn't fasten on this after reading here, because it's best for all concerned, especially the children, that she fades into obscurity. Surely they are equally, or more, exhausted by her snivelling, whining, sense of entitlement and general malevolence as are we. And, Milo, get out and up your golf game. TFW is ideally suited to haranguing her critics. Heck..she excels at criticism and always has a remedy. I would be gleeful to never hear her name in the media again...well, I love the negatives which are spot on. Also, Steve...get lost!

ITA, she funded the book to get publicity to grift a TV job. That is what this has been about. Steve sticks around because it's money for him, with side benefits. The guy is way too much into involved, she is totally dependent on him, and I hope it all comes out. When Bethenny asked about her "hanging around her bodyguard", Kate just laughed and said "no, no". No real denial of an affair. I don't think he and Gina are not still together. Who would put up with such a clingy client dressing like a sexpot? Uncle Steve indeed. The kids calling him that says it all.
Jon changed, but not overnight. Remember, Kate was the one who drifted away emotionally first and gave Jon his freedom to do as he pleased as long as they continued filming. When Jon said TLC had private detectives following him at one point, it made sense to me that this was Steve's doing (his company has PI's). Catching Jon in the act was planned, IMO. Getting rid of him, getting the public's sympathy as the cheated on spouse, sounds like something someone would "mastermind", don't you think? She thought she was the star and didn't need him anymore. I truly believe that.
Steve must be TFW's business partner. That's the only reason I can think of as to why he would attend an interview with her. A real bodyguard would not be involved in an interview. He has a vested interest in Kate succeeding as a celebrity. I can see how this would have helped to undermine the marriage. In hindsight, this probably happened before 2009 when Kate and Steve started traveling together. Based on Kate's failure to succeed at reinventing herself and entering back into the celebrity lifestyle, I believe Steve must be a horrible advisor and needs to go back to keeping his mouth shut and just bodyguarding.

Hope you still have a good birthday, jus4u. My daughter's birthday is close to yours, and she asked me once if I'd ever noticed the stuff that happens around her birthday? One year we had the sniper. Another a big flood, roads washed out, and no power. We've had hurricanes several years (again, no power), a tropical storm another. And then we had personal things like the passing of her great-grandmother and the loss of her dog one year and guinea pig this year. So she (we) feel your pain on that!

I think the Bethany interview was a big 'ol slap in the face Wake Up Call, followed by a Bitter Pill to Swallow chaser. There she satacross from a woman who started out just like her (in her mind) and that woman who asked her those "mean, personal questions" has everything that TFW wants. The jealousy and ugliness just OOZED from TFW during this interview. Bethany topped her and she knows it.
I'm thinking Paige is an only child and her parents weren't around much. Thus, the Gosselin kids are her fantasy siblings. I bet ANY mom that had been the mom of the 8 on that show would have been idolized by Paige.

If Steve were not there, TFW might walk out on any number of standard/contractual elements of an appearance. Here's the deal with Kate. After the multiples were born, she put out her wish list and "magically" what she wanted appeared. She thinks the same thing is going to happen if she just puts it out there she wants to be in entertainment. What hasn't occurred to her yet, or maybe never, is that now she is well known. And what people know about her personality and work ethic are not good. Just saying she has changed isn't going to cut it, especially with her suing Jon and not working a regular job. Actions speak louder and we all know she is not forthcoming with the truth. This is why I am puzzled with Steve still hanging in there because it's not like she is talented or is a nice person.

The writer answered back and said he/she asked at the beginning what Steve did and he said "security", but that over the course of the interview it became obvious that he was "managing" and that he was part of TFMJG's "inner circle". It's not a choice, though. It's a forced decision. I wish my state DIDN'T have it. My husband just called me upstairs to read me the letter from Anthem. Our former coverage = $635/mo. Our new forced coverage = $1,260 per month, an increase of $7,500 per year we do not have, especially with 3 kids in college at the moment (and one more just out.) We have a year to stave off the inevitable. The fine might be cheaper.... Feeling a little ill right now.

Paige admitted she spent more time with Steve than with TFW and thought he was so sweet and kind. Now he is advising TFW on what to say in an interview. One more thought about Steve. With him always lurking in the background, how could she ever have her own show? What producer would want to work with that? Steve is like that creepy second talking head that guy had on the Car Fax commercial or whatever it was.

And who would have thought Bethanny would be the one finally asking the hard questions. No love for TFW there. And TFW played that one badly.
Toronto Star interview - did not go so well. Sipping on water with the "bodyguard" there for more than moral support. While I do not think they are involved in a physical relationship (KG is all faux smoke and mirrors, plus boys are icky), Skeevio is clearly more of a manager than a 1 man security team. At least own that part.
And next week's calendar is still pretty bare, teen birthday celebration aside.
In the People "piecing and patching" article, it said that Steve was no longer employed by Kate. For someone who's no longer in her employ he sure has been around with her an awful lot.
Could it be the People magazine article was a lie? Oh no-what will the sheeple do now?
I sincerely doubt he is doing all this "guarding" out of the kindness of his heart. Perhaps part of her "book tour" demands was that Steve be part of it and HCI agreed to pay him to keep her in line.
Two things which I don't know if they have been mentioned or not:
1.) I agree with the bloggers above who believe that there are men out there who would not have a problem "banging" Kate. These men would not care about her personality or her "ums" or the fact that she has 8 kids -- no, they would simply be interested in seeing her every other weekend when Jon has custody.
2.) TLC is interested in bringing back Little People Big World and I'm sure that is just bugging Kate because she can't figure out why TLC has not called her to bring her show back too. But here is the deal -- LPBW, McGhees, HBB, and the other shows re multiples -- one if not both of the spouses have REAL JOBS outside of the home where Kate only wants the job of being a reality TV stah where she is filmed being a stay at home mom. Kate does not get it that real people need to have jobs to support their family, that life is not about exploiting their children in order to get a TV show where they get to go on "free" trips to show how one travels with 8 kids. It is just not something that mediocre people can identify with, especially in today's economy.
So since Kate is and always will be clueless --- especially with this failed cookbook where she once again has proven that she does NOT have the gift of gab -- I do not see her getting another show at all. But hey, one has to give her credit for stretching out her 15 minutes ~ and of course there is still the issue of her lawsuit ~ will she withdraw it or go forward just to stay relevant? Only time will tell.
Bitchy Pants: I was kidding when I commented on your new name! It is most appropriate to this blog. But funny how a name changes one's ' image.' To me Readerlady was a refined lady, sitting there with her book and a cup of tea. Bitchy Pants is a great name to describe TFMKG- I vote to keep it. Remember when we all put an avatar of something Kate-related? That was so funny how people thought of her here and the things we remembered.

I "wrote" a cookbook. My daughter was getting married about 6-years ago and I wanted to give her something special for a shower gift. So, I called all of my sisters, brothers, aunts, cousins, all of the in-laws, friends and neighbors asked them to give me their favorite recipes. I typed up all the recipe's they sent, added pictures and put everything in a beautiful binder for her. It took me about 3 months to get everything together. This was her first cookbook.
The fact that Kate said this 'picture book' was for her kids because they were always asking for her recipe's is a bunch of horse shit. My daughter was 23 when she married and she had never, ever, ever asked me for a recipe in her life. Little children aren't concerned about recipe's.
Anyway, there is a more sincere and honest way for Kate to get her recipe's to her kids. This whole crookbook fiasco just stinks!

The same thing happened in my house........... until we were able to factor in the net subsidy amount. Btw - the subsidy is something the insurer doesn't have to mention to you and that's why the new quote looks horrendous. I hope with subsidy you will not be any worse off for premium costs as you were before (and I'm relieved to say that with our subsidy amount we will pay slightly less than we did last year).

I think the picture of Jon with Hanna running towards him would be a great gift to him, blown up poster size for him to frame and a nice framed version for Hanna's room. Bet that one would get past the front door as Kate pulls an illegal search of her kids mail.
Kate has only sold 836 books since March. She's into her 8th month. Ree Drummond has sold only 120 LESS than Kate has sold in September in 4 days into October. Guess what's she's making on her show tomorrow - pizza sauce and pizza! I don't think there will be any chicken added to hers. Ree say's she's now working w/ Jillian Michaels to get rid of the "jiggle" her words. I think she looks great - don't care what she looks like, the love in her husband's eyea for her and his family are enough, and he's not too shabby either - great eyes.

Pretty unheard of for newspaper interviews and very unlikely in other print mediums unless it's a tabloid.
People pays for use of photos which is how they get around saying they don't pay for interviews.
On the talk show, Paige seemed pretty normal and well-spoken (much more so than I would have expected given what I gather about her obsession). It's very odd.

I picture them in the back of a limo going to an interview revising TFW's answers to questions, strategizing how she needs to try to appear, how she's going to try to sell her newest PR image.

Also I don't think this was never a true book tour. It was all about Jon, the lawsuit, the divorce & how she was living after K+8, she doesn't mention the book. If it was me, I would have told the interviewer that I am here to promote my book & discuss the recipes, whatever if the line of questioning was turning to my personal life. Yes? You're not kidding that you can see the red/blotchy as it happens. I swear there was a point that it seemed that the blotches were actually pulsating! She did a pretty good job at controlling her breathing, and even almost got her expression under control, but those red blotches had a life of their own! lol

I think she is hitting Canada hard for a show because in her small mind she thinks the media company's aren't on to her wicked ways. She never planed to fail in the states so now she needs to move on. Next, England. Ya better watch out. I mean look at the fans she is starting to get out of the states. New fish. Her show hasn't been there long and the ugliness of the divorce and seeing them in every rag mag is pretty much nil. Of course it will never happen. It's time to reap what she has sown. Poor kids. Hopefully Jon's love will cover a multitude of sins and more will come out of this not too damaged.
