Oh but she does have fun like that with her kids. They're always screeching and squealing in delight when they're around her. The woman is a barrel of fun, fun, fun! A big ol' heapin' helpin' of happiness!

She just doesn't have the photos of them doing that so we'll have to take honest Kate's word for it.

Ah Auntie Ann - "Mlo is the katekeeper". That is brilliant.

But truly, whatevah with this POS as it does appear she will have to pay for her 'hobby' expenses from this point forward. The lack of interest on her twitter feed cannt be ignored as well. Probably her last visit to the swag VIP tent too. Don't let that tent flap hit ya on the way out.

And if only she had a friend who could do a health intervention. If you look at a pre-divorce picture, even the ugly one upthread where she was yanking a child, even with that odd haircut, you can see how much healthier her hair, her skin, her body, was. Her arms were toned, no gaunt look, no too big boobs on a straight frame. Frankly, she's a physical mess. Too bad.

with her

ROL has the article from OMG that the kids do not want to see Jon at Christmas. Too bad Jon can't get some kind of gag order on her. I feel awful for those kids. It has been 3 years since the divorce. Will Kate never let this go?

''I give him credit for showing so much restraint in not talking to the media. Imagine how difficult it must be when someone publicly bashes you and presents only their side. You have to sit back and listen to it, biting your tongue because you want the truth known, but you take the high road for the sake of your kids. It has to hurt, knowing that your ex is a parental alienator, possibly poisoning your kids minds against you, not only in private, but also in the media.''
~~~~~~~~~
Amen! Jon's ability to restrain himself from responding to KK's despicable parental alienation is something to be admired. His comment that he, his kids, his family and friends know the truth is obviously something he truly believes, and that is enough for him. KK's inability to keep her lying hateful mouth shut is responsible for her downfall. As the children get older, it will be more and more apparent which parent is the most respected parent. As for the past, it has always been apparent how much the children love their father. That hasn't changed, and I think it never will, no matter how hard KK tries to turn the children against their father.
Formerly Duped said...
Kate is getting more and more negative comments on these articles. Even if you didn't know the history, she sounds like she's begging for freebie gifts, insulting the kids' dad, has greedy kids and she's a shallow lazy person with a 'hobby' of running.
I agree that KK is sick...her mental health problems are getting more and more noticeable as time goes on. Her narcissism won't permit her to accept any responsibility for her current position....in her 'sick' mind, it is ALL JON'S FAULT!! !!!!!! It must be Jon's fault, because it sure can't be KK's fault!
One of the classic obsessed parental alienation behaviors is they convince themselves the children love only them, only want to be with them, and are always better off with them. That statement fits right in there with that.
Improbable Dreams said...
Imagine a world in which you issue disclaimers about Christmas to your kids. Not, "I'm sorry, but Mommy needs to pay the light bills before buying electronic toys." Not, "Hey, how about we give some of our abundance to Toys For Tots, instead." No, she's giving them advanced warning that their unwrapping session won't last a full two hours, maybe more.
Sad, sad, sad.
And yes Remona and Chef: Sick, sick sick.
So the custody agreement means nothing? I wonder if Jon knows yet that he won't be seeing the kids for Christmas.
I'm glad Jon got off of Twitter, but I wish there was a way to give the poor guy some support!
Ally said...
She is also still apparently going with the story that she has primary custody of the children. That only she supports...all alone...no one to help her...although I read something the other day that she said a while ago and commented how she would love to clone herself...so she would have help taking care of the kids...ugh, ugh, UGH! Could you imagine 2 of that creature on this planet? Yes, I chose planet because I really can't imagine another one like her, existing, anywhere.
I give Jon a ton of credit. I can't imagine having to hear this crap day in and out and be forced to deal with her. I know how hard it is to not hit below the belt from personal experience. I went through a bitter divorce where my husbands attorney actually sent me nasty dirty email messages. My attorney would warn me of the content first. I wanted nothing more than to defend myself. It hurts when people spread vicious lies about you. My attorney would not do it. At the time I was pissed. Now, looking back, we took the high road...and I'm glad we did!
Growing up, my parents never did Santa, the Easter Bunny or what have you. Churchwise...it wasn't something that was encouraged by a long shot.
I don't think I regret not being excited like maybe other kids were. I feel sorry for Kate's kids that she has to take that maybe there is a magical aspect to Santa at Christmas I wouldn't know.
What I don't agree with is her stripping her kids of their own voice. "The kids say this, the kids think that..." She probably doesn't even know what they really think. Of her, of how she is, what she does. Not a lot of kids tend to speak to adults, they speak to their peers more than anything else that I know.
She's kidding herself the very least if she thinks she is on her kids' buddy buddy list.
But to those of you who celebrate Christmas with your kids and do Santa and lave out milk and cookies and then you eat them for the kids I think it's nice and I hope that your kids have in the past or will appreciate it now.
I avoid commenting on looks, but my gosh, what has she done to herself? She looks anorexic. Her head is too big for her emaciated body. Her neck is so wrinkled and saggy. I looked at the photo of her dancing the jive with Tony and she was so much healthier there with some meat on her bones (as my grandmother used to say). Her hair was pulled back for that dance, and she actually had hair...thick at the hairline and not receding.
She really does need help, psychological and with self-image. She may like to be skinny, but a weight loss like this is going to do serious damage to her physically.
I read that Cara and Mady told the tups there was no Santa, maybe three years ago. Then it was reported that parents at their school were upset because Gosselin kids, maybe the tups, were telling classmates there was no Santa. I do not recall with the fake Christmas filmed many years ago if Santa was mentioned.
Frankly by age 8, many kids have figured it out, but it was a shame that those kids didn't have the opportunity to enjoy the wonder of Santa Claus for many years. I miss those days myself.
Is there such a thing as pre-tweets? Milo was spitting those things out so fast during the marathon. So much trivia included that she had to have researched each point to have something to tweet about.
Whether others think it's right or wrong, I personally enjoyed the magic of Santa, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy for my daughter and my grandsons.
Yes, they all wrote letters to Santa, put out cookies and milk, and the cutest part was going into their bedroom to check on them Christmas Eve, and finding them covered with a blanket by the window. They fell asleep trying to see Santa's sleigh and the reindeer flying through the sky.
My daughter has great memories of these times, as I do, and I'm sure my grandsons will as well.
LoveMyGrandsons said...
When I was growing up, we never had a real fireplace so my parents had one of those cardboard red brick ones. When my daughter was very young, we would tell her that with Santa's magic, he could come in through the fireplace, even though it wasn't real.
On Christmas Eve, after putting the presents under the tree, I would grab my husband's workboots and my bag of artificial snow. Then use his boots and sprinkle the fake snow around them. I would make this path from the cardboard fireplacde to the Christmas tree. Then eat the cookies and drink the milk and leave a big candy cane on the empty cookie plate.
When my daughter woke up in the morning, she was so excited to see the "footprints" leading from the fireplace to the Christmas tree. The special candy cane directly from Santa (on the cookie plate) was a special thrill for her.
The point is childhood is supposed to be a magical, fanciful time for children no matter what your faith. Stripping a child of a right to let their imaginations sore is wrong. Muslim and Jewish children still have fantasies and pretending last I checked, as log as their parents aren't the kind that loves to suck the fun out of everything. There is more to being a good parent than keeping your kid alive.
What on earth is wrong with Kate's left hand in the picture? It looks deformed, as if the fingers were on backwards. The palm looks like it has veins in it like the back of a hand would normally have.
Is it just that she has become so skeletal that her hands are now claw-like?
I really hope someone is able to convince her of the need for a healthy diet before she collapses while running, or worse, while driving the kids somewhere.
She is one sick lady.
Think of all those Jewish, Muslim, etc. children who are permanently scarred by not experiencing the magic of Santa and the Easter Bunny. Horrible parents of different faiths inflicting such punishment on their children...
REALLY?? So there aren't ANY Jewish children that believe in Santa? Wrong. I know many who were taught the tale of Santa Claus and had there picture taken and sent off a list. Just because you don't celebrate Christmas doesn't mean you are deprived of Santa Claus. BTW, lots of my Jewish friends had the tooth fairy growing up, too. Glad to have opened your eyes a little but to our pluralistic society where traditions can intermingle freely.
It's not tragic that the kids "don't do Santa" but I think that it's because Kate didn't want this mythical man stealing her thunder with regards to gifts, and that's what I think is a shame.
The real tragedy of course is the continuous alienation of their father and having their privacy invaded and anonymity taken away, probably for life.
Santa is magical! Santa always left sooty glove prints on the fireplace walls and scattered ashes and logs when my kids were little. They even manged to 'catch' him on a grainy video, just the bottom half of his red suit and big black boots filling the stockings. How excited the kids were!
Unless for religious or other beliefs, I think it's sad to deprive your children of such fun and the spirit of Christmas, loving and giving and yes, receiving.It's almost cruel for Kate to do so.(and to their classmates)
yeah Kate (and especially her neck) would look so much better with some weight on her bones. It would fill her out in a good way- women over 35 only look gaunt when they are too thin, not sexy (not that 25 year olds look sexy being underweight, but they pull it off better). Anyway, her face and neck would look younger with more weight, flesh is a good thing :)
Hi, Pink! My grandsons are still believers; my daughter told me she knew there wasn't a Santa the Christmas before her 9th birthday. It came from conversations with friends at lunch. Pink, come to think of it, it was right before Easter after my daughter's 9th birthday when she told me that she knew the Easter Bunny wasn't real. This is such a horrible story, really. They took such advantage of good, Christian, trusting viewers with their fake story lines and grifting. I don't care how many marathons Kate runs. You know there has been conversation that Kate is trying to make for what the thinks she lacked in her childhood- I would not be one bit surprised if a good number of the G8 grow and decide they will have Santa et al for their children, and put their kids in scouts, and become homeroom parents, and have nice family meals, especially at the holidays with both sides of the family invited because that is what they lacked growing up. Would serve Kate right. Maybe then she will see the light, what is truly important.
No, they do not believe in the tooth fairy. Do you get why they dont do Santa or other things like it? The whole point is the strict interpretation of having no other gods before God. Creatures you look up to who bring you things are too close for comfort to that admonishment. A general storybook about fairies, however, probably would be fine because you're not worshiping them in any way.
LoveMyGrandsons said...
butterfly, what I recall Kate saying about her childhood is that they didn't go on fancy trips and she wanted to provide that for her kids because she missed those things when she was younger. I am of the opinion that Kate didn't really have a bad childhood, she just didn't get everything she wanted and she felt cheated by that. In my opinion, it seems like her family couldn't afford alot of extravagant things and that's what she always wanted. That's why she was so willing to sell her children so she could get those things. Of course, she said it was for the kids, but babies and toddlers don't know about such things. Besides, she has shown by what she spends that it was all for her, never for the kids.
SaveTheWorldFromEvilKate said...
I have to agree with what Anonymous said at #65. Kate didn't just pull no Santa out of thin air, she pulled it out of her a$$.
Filming, hiring other people to wrap, buy presents, hide presents, etc. and to not take credit for all of it? Nope, there cannot be a Santa in Kate's world. Just another instance of her sucking the joy out of anything. Staying up late to make sure the kids are asleep to leave out cookies, etc. is something Kate would never do, let alone fake snow on the floor with footprints, oh the horror!
Santa is a huge part of a kids childhood. Why do kids tell other kids there is no Santa, it's not to make them happy. No disrepect to those that don't do Santa, Kate just doesn't for the wrong reasons.
I still believe in Santa :)
------------------
I guess it depends on the church. I was raised in an extremely fundamental church, no movies on Sunday, no dances on Sunday, my mother did no laundry on Sunday...we weren't even allowed to use a scissors on Sunday because it was considered "work." I could never quite figure that one out. We had Sunday morning services, Sunday evening services, and mid-week prayer services, along with "revival" services once a year. I thought it was all ridiculous, but looking back now, I wouldn't have traded any of it. It was a very important part of my childhood.
However, we did believe in Santa, the Easter bunny and the tooth fairy. In fact, Santa came to our Sunday School classes and handed out candy and oranges. My parents, I think, were more upset than I was when I found out that none of those entities existed.
I was at the mall today. There was an Amish couple and a Mennonite couple with kids in line to see Santa. Nothing surprises me anymore.
From Robert's book:
THERE IS NO SANTA CLAUS. BUT THERE IS A MS CLAUSE?
@icedtea92 no never did here :) result is the same tho ;)
NiiiicoleeH @Kateplusmy8 Merry Christmas ! Do your kids still believe in Santa ?? If theydon’t, did u tell them ? Or did they find out themselves ?? :)
@smileydancer456 cara and Mady do (w their own $.. so cute) and no Santa here but result is the same so no big deal! :) 12.24.11
Is this a canned response from Kate’s PR person? “result is the same tho ;),” “results are the same tho :),” “result is the same so no big deal! :)” Ok Kate, so you’ve deprived your children of the wonder and magic that is the tradition of believing in Santa Claus. That’s fine, you’re the parent, it’s against your religious beliefs, etc. But why then do you get to pretend to be ‘Ms Clause?’ and to spell it incorrectly while you’re at it? That’s being a little bit inconsistent, wouldn’t you say Kate?
Silly tweeties... I see you calling me! I'm eyeball deep in wrapping and (shh) presents... I'm playin Ms Clause tonight... No run again 2day!
HspncElvis @Kateplusmy8 MSD having a few drinks in your honor tonight. :O)
@HspncElvis cool thanks. Ms clause is too busy to party
wildfirecrew @Kateplusmy8I struggle w/ 3kids, 1DIL & 1grand… Does Santa leave his gifts wrapped or unwrapped at ur house? Santa leaves our unwrapped.
@wildfirecrew nope, everything including stocking gifts are wrapped here… This santa is a glutton for punishment I know! Lol
And from Kate’s own website:   8 things that tell me it’s Christmastime: DECEMBER 24, 2011
3. My bedroom is no longer anything but Ms Claus’ Workshop – I cannot walk in any direction without fear of colliding with a wrapped package!
Hoffman, Robert (2012-09-27). KATE GOSSELIN: HOW SHE FOOLED THE WORLD (Kindle Locations 30948-30949). . Kindle Edition.
So the kids don't celebrate the magic of Santa, but it's okay for Kate to refer to herself as Santa, or as Mrs. Claus. Seems kind of hypocritical to me.
I remember that, too. It was okay, though, to lie to their children that Mommy and Daddy would be together forever, when the marriage was already doomed during the Hawaii trip. It was okay to lie to their children that it was Christmas Day when it wasn't, and it had to be done to fit into the filming schedule.
Silimom said...
First off, let me say that I do Santa with my kids and I am a Christian.
However, I don't think that one needs Santa Claus to celebrate Christmas. As a Christian, I try and remember that Christmas is a time to celebrate the birth of Christ and the hope of salvation He brought into this world. Santa Claus, gift giving, Christmas trees, feasts are all wonderful traditions and my family and I make them part of our yearly celebration but they are a different aspect of the holiday all together.
So what is Christmas all about? As Linus so eloquently put it:
And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
And the angel said unto them,
Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
No mention of Santa Claus. No mention of Christmas trees. No mention of holiday feasts.
Just glorifying God and remembering to be good to each other and live in peace.
"That's what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown."
I have some question for the sheeple, please answer without deflecting or blaming Jon: do you personally agree with the way Kate acts toward Jon? Do you feel that it is healthy or fair to always be dissing your ex, implying that the children would rather not be with him? If you were divorced (perhaps you are or have been or will be), is this how you would act? You always defend it and sometimes, downright encourage it. Does that mean you admire such behavior?
I sure hope not, because it SUCKS.
If the Yahoo article about Kate's Christmas was exactly the same, but Jon's name was substituted for Kate's, the sheeple would be vilifying Jon left and right. They would trash him first for giving out custody information, say that he's cheap by saying "electronics are expensive" and lastly say that he's putting Kate down to make himself look good. How dare he? Plus they'd throw in that he had to sell an article to pay the rent or whatever bill they think he owes.
But when Kate does it-she's praised for being a wonderful mother, and that of course, the kids prefer to be with her instead of Jon.
Chiming in on the Santa, Tooth Fairy, Easter Bunny debate...
At about age 7 or 8, my son announced to me that he knew there was no Easter Bunny. You see, my MIL always gave him a basket and told him that the Easter Bunny left it for him at her house. (She's a very "practical" person, not into toys and candy for kids, and would fill his basket with socks and underwear and such.) "Mom, really, what Easter bunny would bring you this stuff?"
As for me, I still believe. Saw a sign recently that said, "when you stop believing in Santa you get underwear", and I don't want to chance it!
Those aren't alternate beliefs. The Easter Bunny is from the pagan spring holiday and Santa Claus is a very German (maybe Scandinavian... It was hard at first, especially with the grandkids, but it's easier now and we see them every Thanksgiving. We usually do New Years together (or the week after) when it's the inlaws year for Christmas. Either way, it all works out and I've gotten used to it (sorta). Since this is not our year with them for Christmas, the memories come flying in, as they usually do. Enjoy those memories, hon, and think of the many new ones you will have in the future!
It will never be forgiven, it will always be brought up like it's happening now. All I can say is thank God the people in my life, family and friends, don't keep bringing up this or that little transgression from three years ago that has never been repeated again. That would suck to have to live with people like that.
You seriously can say that when all that is done around here is to bring up everything Kate has ever done and said and try to hold her to that even though in life nothing is static.
Are you saying there is a double standard? If it's kate she's held accountable for everything she says no matter how long ago or what the situation was but not for Jon?
Me, I hope you'll stick around long enough to answer why RH hasn't been sued for libel yet. His site is still up. Wouldn't that be gone if it were full of untruths and Kate was suing?
The truth is that all the mom swap stuff came from something Robert Hoffman said. Which, like other things, was not true. When will you people learn that RH is throwing out any-/everything he can regardless of truth.
So the custody agreement means nothing? I wonder if Jon knows yet that he won't be seeing the kids for Christmas.
I'm glad Jon got off of Twitter, but I wish there was a way to give the poor guy some support!
Jon knows. The kids want to be at their own home and he's OK with that. You refuse to believe that Jon doesn't have the kids 50% of the time but it is the truth. He just doesn't care to have the kids as much as you all want to believe he does.
After this latest grab for attention from Kate G. I would like to point out the following: she was not asked back to the Kentucky Derby, she was not asked to appear at the Emmy's or DWTS, she was not included in the Red Cross again, she was fired from Coupon Cabin, dare we hope this is the end? Who else would hire a child abusing/pet abusing washed up reality used to be star? KARMA has arrived. IMOO The chickens have come home to roost and I feel sorry for them too! LOL
LMG - thank you for the kind words.
I may be overcompensating by trying to make the holiday special for the dog. I was holding him up at the window showing him the neighborhood Christmas lights and ooohing and ahhhhing. He humored me by wagging his tail, but he thinks I'm nuts I'm sure.
I'm sure it will get better. They're both so far away (especially the one living in Italy) that visits are precious to me.
What I do know is that every so often you post here telling us that you are somehow in the know, yet I've seen nothing that substantiates your claims about Jon. If you know what you say you know, contact Admin and let's set this record straight. I'm open to knowing the truth.
So since Kate is bashing Jon again.
I guess she lied when she say that everything was peachy.
It's also funny that Kate can bash Jon and yet she won't bash Robert...hmmmm
Who watches them while she away in NYC getting her weaves fixed?
Who watch them while she's on TV begging for another show?
I agree with Kathy P.
This blog is not about who is a better mother. It starts to feel like a competition here at times.
********
Well, if it were a competition, it would be OUR competition. Truth is, we thoroughly enjoy reading up on what our "competition's" got. If it's a rivalry, it's a very friendly one, each person wishing the best for the other, reading intently and smiling as each new story unfolds.
There is not a thing wrong with cyberfriends talking to each other this way. It's all good.
Is that all right with you? I hope so.
Do you have a story to share. We'll listen if you'd like. I'm sure it will be in the running in this "competition".
Looks like Kate already got her roots done in the marathon photos. Must have scooted off to LA before the big race. I don't agree with posters who say her hairline is receding. I think it has always looked that way. She is gaunt though and I bet real proud of that. Her skin looks 'drapey' now. If she has anorexia, it would make sense given what they say about the disease and what can cause it. Hope she doesn't but she has really become obsessed with her looks and body image it seems....maybe she thinks the only way to slim down her bottom half is to starve herself.
Me, Kate's transgressions are ongoing and abundant. Big difference. Huge. She screws up daily nearly lol
Kate is home and has been tweeting up a storm for the past half hour or so. Her first tweet was: @Kateplusmy8: Ahhh home sweet home with all my kiddies -tucked into bed now and life is good.. Good to be home after @RunRocknRoll in Vegas!
Maybe she was there on her own dime. I'm sure if someone else had been paying she'd still be in LV or LA at the very least.
Just saw something interesting. John Travolta's former pilot/lover is being sued by Travolta for talking about them. John Travolta's attorney sent the former pilot a lawsuit and can you take a wild guess who that attorney is????
It's not Laverne, IT'S SHIRLEY!! Marty Singer is John Travolta's attorney AND kate Gosselins attorney! I just don't get that. A mom, who had 8 kids, has an attorney with that much clout and pull in LA? No wonder Jon can't ever win in court. Wow, you know she has spent those kids money on that rich lawyer. Jon needs to get Paul Peterson and help him get his kids for Christmas. She is now saying on ROL that THE KIDS SAID they want to be with HER Christmas and all the days around Christmas.
kate you are such a vile, demanding demon treating those kids and Jon like you do.
Thank you everyone for the congrats on the Grandboy a'comin'!!
I do think RnR sponsors Kate but I get the feeling that she doesn't get the funding she used to. She doesn't spend as much time away as before which is good. Plus all those pics of Kate and no Steve at all. Hmm.
Chef, Tweet-le - They're like little fruit flies...always one or two flitting around.
If they're so well-informed about Kate why don't they bring something substantial to the table? Something like Kate is flipping burgers in Wysomming McDonalds. Or Kate has signed a contract with DreamWorks and she's starring in a movie with Brad Pitt. Or Shoka is alive, here's the proof. They only repeat what Kate says and it's gospel as far as they're concerned.
Can't you have your celebration and happy dancing in your own home? You can do any dance you want, dance as long as you want, mix up some drinks and toast him, tweet him, whatever...but why is it done here? :) Aren't there any DWTS blogs on which to give him his special days of celebration?
That might be a bit difficult, since it's Wyomissing! I've seen the spelling mutilated, but never quite like that!
Just teasin about the spellin!
"No wonder Jon can't ever win in court. Wow, you know she has spent those kids money on that rich lawyer"
++++++++++++++++
Singer isn't Kate's attorney for custody issues. Her name is Cheryl Young (Norristown, PA), a family law attorney.
I don't understand why people are picking on Joy. She's happy Tony and Melissa won-what is so bad about her celebrating here. She uses the same name, she has an avatar-when you see her name and avatar, skip over it. Is that so hard to do?
I remember how great Joy was during our parties. She gave us a country-wide tour of historical sites. She hosted one at gave us some fab info about VA sites. I think she's a wonderful poster, and deserves a break.
As far as I'm concerned--keep on dancing Joy!
I'm not so sure that it's receding as much as it is thinning at the hairline. It's very thin and so it just looks like her forehead grew. It's become very noticeable in the past six months or so.
You know who I bet funded it most of this year? COUPON CABIN. They even organized a run-along with her in Chicago, remember? They were all over this stuff. I bet that's partly why they fired her, because they realized all she cared about was a free trip and the VIP tent, not actually promoting their company. This is just a race she was already scheduled for and it would be bad PR to back out, maybe CC already even bought her plane ticket and booked her hotel before they fired her--bet they did.
Amanda in Illinois said...
Why wouldn't they cancel the ticket then? They had plenty of time.
