Blowing, because she HAS to prove damages. She has to prove whatever was done to her hurt her. By bringing in others who can say how she is, that helps prove none of this damaged her rather she damaged herself. Her own bad behavior led to her demise, not someone picking through her trash 4 years ago.

But having an employee testify that she never cooked the meals herself, or that she threw the kids toys in the trash has nothing to do with her "career" or why she was fired from CC or why Twist of Kate never saw air time or why she never got a dating show. In fact, since she is polarizing, I would think that her bad behavior actually contributed to her getting a stint on DWTS or being on CWS. People didn't tune in to watch those shows because she is a sweet , loving mom of EIGHT kids, but rather because she's mean and miserable. If she used the testimonies of those people, she'd actually be cutting off her nose to spite her face.

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said...

Exactly blowing. It's all one big circular argument. She behaves badly, but it probably contributed to the one-trick pony of putting her on shows to be polarizing. But eventually her career is in tatters because you can only do the trick once. People reacted to HER being polarizing first, people didn't MAKE her polarizing. It's hard to see any of this going anywhere but a summary dismissal.

Question: Robert Hoffman supposedly gave all the proceeds from the book to charity. So, what is this "money trail" that BV keeps talking about? Does he actually want people to believe that he and Jon conspired to steal the journals in order to write a book, and then lie about giving the proceeds to charity while in reality they were paying people to blog and tweet negative things to/about Kate, which would then stop her from being on TV? If so, then why did they wait for 3 years after the divorce to release the book? Jon didn't want to film while the divorce was unfolding, so wouldn't he have wanted to destroy Kate's TV career back in 2009? K+8 was cancelled in 2011, so why not release it right then, when she was begging for a new show? Why wait until long after the entertainment industry had lost interest in her to decide that it was finally time to destroy her career? She had long since done that herself!

I'm one of the few, I guess, who wishes Sylvia LaFair hadn't withdrawn her complaint (which she was awarded) against Kate. While we can say she took the high road, she gave Kate more of a feeling that she is invincible and can sue whenever the mood hits her. If she loses she can just appeal. Lawyer fees don't seem to be an issue.
******
LaFair won the case she brought against Kate. She. Won. There comes a time, when you're not made of money and free time, that trying to recover your damages THAT THE JUDGE AWARDED YOU becomes to expensive, too tedious and too much of a media circus for most normal people to want to experience.
I give LaFair all the credit in the world. She won; Kate has more money.
There ain't no changing the facts, m'am, and them's the facts!
---------------

I know She. Won. I said she was awarded the judgement. I was merely expressing my opinion that I sometimes wish those who needed to be knocked down a few pegs WERE knocked down a few pegs instead of strutting around like they're invincible.

Easy to say when you're not paying the lawyer bills. LaFair should not be expected to suffer financial hardship to put Kate in her place.
It's too much to ask of anyone.
For me, it is enough that LaFair won. Kate and her minions whooping it up over LaFair's dropping the suit and assuming like the idiots that they are, that Kate "won", doesn't change a thing. Let them have their hollow victory and delusions. All 8 of them.
Let the story end with Kate cheating LaFair out of her rightful compensation, and LaFair stemming the bleeding when she saw that Kate would never stop until LaFair was duly plundered financially, emotionally and spiritually. It further goes to prove the kind of person Kate really is.

Robert helped him.

JON, left stuff in apt. ( not home)

OK said everything out, NOW.

Robert saw backup discs Jon left, not his, but hers, but in garage apt.

OK then ordered them banished, and minions put them to curb.

Robert heard this, and went back, perfectly legal-like and picked up discs intrash.

FYI... it isn't summer year round in California either. We have seasons also, just not with the same extremes as other climates.

But do you have to shovel 30 inches of snow in a week, or look forward to icy roads/black ice at least once every two weeks from December through March...or hunker down during ice storms when you're afraid the pellets are going to bring down your power lines or cause trees to fall through your windows? Worst of all, worry about your loved ones at work, praying that they are going to make it home on slippery roads when there are accidents all over the place. You listen to sirens and you're sitting there watching for headlights to pull into your driveway, finally knowing that your family is safe.

****************

What in the world? Where did I ever state that Southern CA winters are equivalent to PA winters? Uh, I didn't. If it's that harrowing for you, maybe you should consider moving.

No, thank you. Born and raised here, so I'm staying put. Besides, I don't want to distance myself from Kate. You know, "Close To You" (Milo's song) thing!

I apologize. My post wasn't intended to offend or be snarky. I was just pointing out that while Cali has seasons, PA winters are brutal and can be quite worrisome when you or your loved ones are out on the road. Of course, most of us do fill the gas tank before we venture out on the roads in a snowstorm so we don't have to worry about running out of gas or finding a gas station!

Both sides spew hatred. I know that many on here have called out the haters on Twitter for being disgusting and vile. They can really dish it out. I just read tweets from haters about a sheeple that were about as nasty and disgusting as you can get. Likewise, I've seen screenshots from sheeple that made my skin crawl. Neither side gets wings for being innocent little angels. But with BV and the outings, Kate has him doing her work for him, so yes, the nasty sheep droppings don't matter...only what Kate perceives as bullying and harassment against her.

I have to say after dealing with lake effect snow my whole life, PA winters felt downright mild. There were a couple days where it was so cold I wanted to cry, and a couple slippery ice storms, but mostly it was just quite chilly. Then it was over and spring came. Fall and spring were very nice and summer was hot but only a few really bad days. There is NOTHING like a nice warm cup of hot cocoa on a crisp fall PA day. I am homesick. I would call their weather a good mix of the four seasons without any of them very extreme.

The thing is, even if KK did move to California, she doesn't have anywhere near the money it would take to come close to Kendra's life. Period. I told her to enjoy the sunshine because it was 50, gray and raining like normal in Washington State. She said she couldn't wait to get home to a cold rain! I guess the rain in PA is muggy and too warm~she did like the vibrant storms-much more animated than we get here. At the end of the day, Kate's lawsuits amount to nothing more than a big adult hissy fit.

Credible death threats would be handled by police and most likely the FBI.

Does anyone think Kate didn't already go to the police a year ago about how the digital material for the book was obtained? Doesn't look like anyone was charged.

Much to Kate's dismay, nothing said about her on the non-fan blogs was a crime. It's a shame her lawyer didn't tell her to grow up, get a thicker skin, and move on. Instead, he's happy to take her money and use a SLAPP lawsuit to intimidate American citizens exercising their right to free speech.

If any of Kate's imagined slights were an actual crime, the proper authorities would be handling it, not a lawyer.

It's not just here of course. This should happen to ALL celebrity blogs, especially the HouseWife ones, where fans/haters cannot seem to control themselves.

It's sad, really. How unhappy must these people be to interject themselves into a D-List celebrity's life? Pathetic, IMO.

LaFair won her lawsuit. Kate appealed. LaFair dropped her suit for the following reasons:

First, my suit, at its heart, was never mostly about cash. As so many legal claims are, mine was about principle; about right and wrong; about taking responsibility and being accountable for one’s words and deeds. The court’s decision gives me all the validation I need.

Second, if I decided to continue this case, I fully believe I would prevail. I'm far from the first to observe, or experience, how the celebrity press operates and this is not where my interests lie.

Third, I don’t want to be party to a proceeding that would undoubtedly require thousands of taxpayer dollars to be spent trying an appeal and providing extra security for it. We’ve all got more important things to do.

You can read more about her case and decision to drop it here:

http://technorati.com/entertainment/celebrity/article/decisions-and-the-gosselin-case/

Regarding her third reason for dropping it - at the time, the courthouse anticipated a large number of paparazzi and news crews to descend on the courthouse to cover the court proceedings, so they hire extra police officers to do crowd control. I'm sure a lot of that was based on feedback from Kate's security team (aka Steve) and Kate's own claims of harassment by the media.

The reality was a little bit more subdued. Some local news stations were there and I think one pap and that was it, but again, I could be remembering wrong. I tried to find the interviews with the police officers from that day, but I can't find them online anywhere. I'm sure though it's in the archives here, if people want to look it up.

I'll post her segment from her appearance on the Today Show later. There was humor throughout her stories, joy in her face and honesty, which made her relatable and just like any other average mom who's not providing everything on a golden platter. Her lunches became mediocre and not the envy of schoolmates sometime in the Fall! Real. True. Honest. Relatable. Less than perfect.
This is the "it" that Kate just doesn't have. Check out her blog. Very interesting overlap with Kate (mom of 5, religious, God, bible, ministry, author, speaker...) but a totally different person.

Yesterday she had several seizures and now does not seem to be able to see. The dh and I were really in nags head doing house maintenance, so just back today. I have a friend with blind dog, as long as he has good quality of life she will keep him as pampered as possible. My feeling about my dog is similar. Any advice or experiences anyone wants to share will be appreciated.

&&&&&&&

Joy, the blindness is probably only temporary. It can happen in the post-ictal phase which can last for minutes, hours or even days. The dog can be wobbly, disorientated and lose vision for a while.

That said, I'd get your pup into the vet ASAP for a check-up and possible adjustment of her seizure meds. A breakthough seizure or two is always possible, but several in a row is called "clustering." It can be life threatening as the dog can over heat very quickly, and repeated seizures can also cause brain damage.

To answer your question, though: I've had two senior dogs who lost their sight. It is amazing how they can compensate with smell and hearing and still have wonderful quality of life. Just don't move the furniture around, block off stairs and, of course, leash walk only.

Fine told CNN she was driving when she saw the gunman pull over another woman and hold a rifle to her head.
"I thought to myself, 'What are you doing? Why are you pointing this gun at her?' And so I put on my accelerator, I hit the gas, and I got in between the two of them," she said.
The bold move quickly turned the gunman's attention to Fine.
"I'll never forget his eyes. They were just so intense and so cold," she said. "That's when he raised his rifle."
The bullets struck Fine three to four times across her body.
With blood pooling around her, she slumped over and played dead in hopes that the gunman would stop.

I've seen some outrageous tweets mostly on the haters side one disgusting vile and some outrageous accusations:

Kate Gosselin & her rape apologist fans r stalking women and alerting their rapists in prison where their new locations are.

-----

Outrageous tweets! Pure filth and libel, particularly the ones about Kate being dead so her kids can finally be free of her and live with the parent they love.

I'm surprised that the person hasn't been suspended. Someone here commented that when the other blog shut down, haters would migrate to her Twitter. Sadly, I think that's happening. If she makes one wise move in her life, it would be pulling the life support on her Twitter right now. Others have done it. Why can't she? Will she call on her hero, BV, to out these people? When will it end? More will just keep surfacing.

Oh, dear. Kate could shut this cesspool down (oh, but that would be bad for you, wouldn't it?) in a heartbeat, LIKE JON DID, in order to shield her kids from this constant bickering tit-for-tat and vitriol, but she won't do it.
If you care about the kids soooooooooo much, why don't you implore Kate to just shut her superfluous, unnecessary, mostly unattended and self-serving Twitter account down? It's like fly paper for hate and derision. It's failed and can not be made a healthy place to be. Well, maybe if Kate went private, but that would kill her follower #'s as well as her grifting opportunities.
Telling her haters who hang out there to stop is like telling water to not be wet.
Get it?
Be the big person. Make the big gesture and do the right thing, not the thing that feels good to YOU.

***********************************************

I think that for her sake, her children's sake,
the sake of her fans, and her haterz- she SHOULD be responsible, and shut down her Twitter account.

Absolutely NOTHING good is coming out of it- and never will.

Kate still has her website/blog. She can pay a tech person to re-design her site to allow access only to the fans that log on.

It's a no-brainer, really.

I would say that every part of the U.S. (indeed, every part of the world) has its own particular natural hazards. In California, we have earthquakes that can and do strike at any time. We also have devastating wild fires.

In PA, there are harsher winter conditions.

In OK and other states, they deal with tornadoes.

On the east coast, they deal with deadly hurricanes.

It's not a contest as to who lives in the state that has the most dangerous weather or natural hazards. At least, I hope it isn't.

Jon would be foolish to ignore any lawsuit filed against him. What he (or anyone) should do if served with a lawsuit, is speak to an attorney. Ask for help in at least filing an answer - an hour or two of an attorney's time, plus the filing fee. I would never ignore a lawsuit and let the plaintiff win by default. That means they can put a lien on any property I own now or in the future, a lien on any inheritance, any lottery winnings, any income I earn from a job, etc. Why in the world would Jon simply ignore a lawsuit and let a default be taken against him?

He's not the brightest bulb in the pack, but I'm sure he is well aware of the very real risks of choosing to bury his head in the sand.

I agree Shelby. Commenting on a blog that does not directly interact with Kate and Co is not the same as trying to insert yourself into the story in order to alter outcomes. Is it really worth putting themselves and their families in financial and legal jeopardy? Just to shut down a Z-lister who has zero chance of ever working again in media? The level of obsession is absolutely staggering!

Welcome back, LMG! I have missed your posts? Just as an update on my status as a GM: My daughter-in-law miscarried around her 9th week. It was very traumatic, but they came through it together. As a mother, it is so hard to see my own child having to deal with such a grown up loss--no care bear bandage and a kiss this time! The fetus had 2 complete sets of chromosomes, so there was never a chance that it was viable.

Yesterday, they announced that she is pregnant again--very early--so, cautious optimism that this is a healthy pregnancy. They are older and wiser this time around. My DIL thanked me for raising such a good son, husband and all-round good guy. If only I could have seen the future when he was holed up in his room in dirty socks and underwear, with pizza boxes and potato chip bags stuffed under his bed! It makes me smile that every time I see him, he has clean, bright white socks--without holes!.

---------
I tried to post this story before, but I don't think it went through at the time. If it did, apologies for repeating myself.

When my husband and I returned from our honeymoon, we had a burglar come in through the transom window in our old apartment building. My husband grabbed the first thing he found to out on, which was a vertically striped green and blue nightshirt ( like a T-shirt that hung down to below his knees. He then grabbed his banjo, and bravely confronted the guy. One look at him, and the burglar ran out of the apartment.

Where was I? Desperately trying to DIAL 9-1-1. My hands were shaking and I was so frightened, I kept dropping the phone, or misdialing. I had absolutely no impulse to put myself in the middle of that situation! I'm guessing that with touch tone pads, I might be more successful--hopefully, will never know!

Don't say or write things that you wouldn't say or write if your real name was attached. I don't post on Radar but if I did I would behave the same as I do here. If Kate's team of lawyers want to try and pull me in to depose me, they can do so with my attorney present. Heck, I'll even hire Admin (if she's up for it) just to make the party even more fun! I'll bring the daiquiris for afterwards!
That's great, silimom, so do I. But if I comment that the sky is blue, should my IP address be handed over to BV and Kreider? Ever had your photo posted next to tweets you didn't make? Ever had your employer called when you weren't involved in what was being discussed? Ever had your children's names and photos posted online because someone imagined you said/did something? Isn't the Obama administration in some hot water for exactly the same kind of intrusive behavior? Why is it okay for ROL, Perel, BV and Kreider? It's not about having nothing to hide or owning your words.

You are very welcome. I'm glad your fur baby is doing better today. It is hard to know what is best for our senior pups. As I said, blindness is not usually a problem for a good quality of life if the owner takes good care.

I'm sure your vet has warned you that late onset seizures may be caused by a brain tumor. For a 15 year old dog, I'd probably just treat the symptoms rather than do any invasive diagnostics. They are tough on senior dogs.

Just keep her spoiled, safe and as pain-free as possible for as long as possible.

Hugs to you both.

What's interesting is that you can usually spot a bought retweeter because their avatar is a "live" person, not flowers, or a dog, or a plate of food. Why is that?

Sheep will always be in denial that she buys these retweets. In fact, Milo was adamant that Kate would NEVER even consider such a thing. How do they explain that these accounts have nothing but retweets? Even when confronted with proof, they still won't concede. I wonder if fans buy these for her, or if she herself shells out the bucks.

I totally agree. I realize that this is Admin's blog, and her blog...her rules. However, rule number one is clear:

'' 1. Do not use Anonymous. Pick a name (click Name/URL to type in a name) and stick to the same name.''

By allowing anonymous to be posted, in my opinion Admin is undermining the integrity her own blog.

Having said that....the bottom line is still...her blog, her decision on what posts to publish.

What is going on with Kate these days, anyway? She used to say that haters motivate her. She said if "if you say I can't do it, I WILL". She thanked the haters for "all the buzz", claimed she didn't read their tweets, didn't see the hate. And now she's on a rampage!
I think she blames the haters (and Jon and Robert) for the failure of her career. Remember Andy Cohen busting her out on watching Real Housewives? I think she watches all of the LA-based reality shows--Real Housewives, the Kardashians, Kendra--and is insanely jealous if their lifestyles and fame. She really thought she was one of them at one time, and now she's been left and forgotten out in the sticks while the rest of them bask in the sun and rake in the cash in LA. She wants to be part of that, and she can't. She must think that all she needs to do it move to LA, and she and the kids will be the next Kardashians. But Jon won't let her take the kids out of the state, and the haters destroyed her career, and she's just so made she could spit nails. That kind of rage is dangerous. That kind of rage makes people lose perspective and make terrible choices. What does she think is going to happen? That she'll silence every hater, Jon will go to jail, she and the kids will move, and she'll end up with a star on the Walk of Fame? Dream on!

Asking if KK was going to be suing Tony Dovolani and Anderson Cooper. Those tweets don't sound like a KK fan to me.

Based on those tweets, I still believe that her tweet to bv that The Stir had ''haters'' posting was a poke at bv.

I mis-read the website, saw the word Apple and called them by mistake.

I did not accept their product as I felt the pressure of a hard-sell, which is not how Apple conducts their support. I did not think they were scammers, but in business to offer tech support for them, obviously not authorized by Apple. I did not give them any payment information (Visa number) although she was pressing for a sale.

I am assuming you did not give them any form of payment. As far as you feeling your e-mail may have been hacked, I would take your computer to someone to take a closer look.

Frankly, if any judge agreed to hear her case, they need to go back to Judge School. It's a blatant attempt to keep her name out there, and a misguided one at that. And I also think she won't file it. The costs of doing that must be astronomical. It's just another way of getting everyone all in a tizzy and talking about her again. And we all feed in. I think Kate's suing because it keeps her name out there. She probably thought that more outlets would pick up the news other than Radar. I even came back here after a long time to see what was going on . . . so it's working, isn't it?

*************

I guess it's working on a small level but the national media hasn't picked up her shenanigans...

TWOP said they shut it down because people were out of control on it and it was a moderation nightmare, which was 100% true.

I believe this is a reference to something I think that was said in Kate's journals, she seems to think TLC shut down TWOP. And it wouldn't surprise me one bit TLC claimed credit for that to try to keep her happy, when really TWOP decided it just wasn't worth it. I bet it's the same as what happened with LaFaire. Surely TWOP has faced legal troubles before and never backed down to my knowledge. They have threads on almost every show known to man.

In Hoffman's book, he reprinted emails from Kate asking the TLC producers to get TWOP shut down. I have no idea how it actually came to be and I know that forum was a modding nightmare, but RWA is not the first success Kate has had at quashing criticism.

Realitytvkids.com ~ Administrator said...

She asked to get it shut down I read that, but I don't see any proof that her whining was why it got it shut down. TWOP was complaining almost since day one that that forum was an absolute nightmare to moderate and people needed to stop or they would take drastic measures. It just got worse and worse and so they put their money where their mouth is and pulled it.

Maybe she did shut it down, but I trust TWOP they would be honest about why they shut it down and not lie and say it was a moderation problem. They're just not that kind of site.

===============================

Milo's still trying to get a response from Kate-it's now been 2 weeks since Kate's last tweet to her.

I guess Milo hadn't seen the Daily Mail article showing that Kate took Hannah food shopping. So Milo, here's your answer to your question.

Kate went food shopping with Hannah and probably left C&M in charge of the rest of the kids. I'm sure that made the rest of the kids happy, since they had a break from their mother snapping pictures of them to post on their website.

The DM is the only media outlet that posted those pictures of Kate and Hannah. It's also strange that they made no mention of Bullyville and the lawsuit.

Wouldn't be surprised if Kate contacted Chris, because the only other outlets that mentioned the lawsuit story were a few articles on Examiner.com. Perhaps, Kate hope that by putting some pictures out there, other places would pick them up and then run the story.

Poor Kate-she's not getting the attention she expected.

This is an old quote from Kate after the show ended. She has lots of great ideas. How did the "haters" stop any of that? She even made a couple test pilots. Since they never even aired what could anyone even say about them to "stop" her? I now think this IS just about publicity, no matter how you do it. If suing will drum up publicity then that's what they do.

It's not REALLY about clearing Kate's good name or making sure justice is served against those who wronged her. She never cared about that before.

This whole thing would be so funny if there weren't eight kids whose precious childhoods are being borrowed to make their mother relevant and provide her an income.

Even the latest go see pics of my kids in swimsuits is yet another bait and switch which takes you to no less than three blurbs about the crookbook before you ever get to the pics of the kids.

A few observations about the DM photo:

1) Kate's pink iPhone is nowhere in sight. Subliminal messaging, maybe?

2) Kate & Hannah are holding hands. Hmmm. A 9-year-old holding hands with her mama at the grocery store...How often does that happen in real (not staged) photo ops?

3) Hannah's clothes appear to be brand-new, and someone's braided her hair. I think the not-a-nanny helped get them out the door, don't you?

4) Kate's L ankle appears a bit odd. Liposuction, perhaps?

5) I suspect Kate's wearing some makeup, despite what the article says. I also think Kate's battles, chosen and not, have etched themselves into that obviously unhappy face.

I'm using old parking lot photos as my point of reference. In most pap photos, Kate carried her iPhone with her keys, clutched tight in her well-manicured hand as she pushed a grocery cart or carried bags out of Target. It was almost always visible.

I think that stretching it a bit. So she has her phone in her pocket. Not everything she does has to have a message attached, or some ulterior motive or grand plan. She put it into her pocket while shopping. Don't most people do that? I put mine in my pocket. She didn't have a call to make or the phone wasn't ringing when the photo was taken. It doesn't mean that a message was being sent. I'm not sure she could "think" that far ahead to tuck it into her pocket so she wouldn't appear to be preoccupied on the phone.

Sometimes it just is what it is, and sometimes conspiracies (as well as nit-picking) can go just a bit too far.

Melissa NV said...

I also wonder if Kate purposely wants pictures of her posted that show her looking pale, tired, etc. What better way to show that she is a "hard working mother of 8"?

She always tweets about how "tired" she always is because she has too much to do-what better way to show it than to have pictures taken that show that.

It's funny that when she posts pictures of herself on twitter, she doesn't have that pale, tired look.

I looked at that picture and the first thing that came to my mind was Hannah' outfit (Flapdoodles, perhaps?). That's not a play outfit a kid would wear at home. White leggings? They'd be dirty in a second and Kate would have a fit. Her hair looks so neat and nicely done. Perhaps it was a Hannah's day out and they went to a salon to have her hair braided. Maybe Hannah was going to a birthday party and went shopping with Kate before she was dropped off at a friend's house. I just know that kids do not dress like that at home for summertime play!

In other words, no-name tech-types half way around the world. The pressure for payment was what raised my suspicions, so I just quickly ended the call.

The reason I called them in the first place was I thought my iPad had died. My husband suddenly remembered reading somewhere that if you held down the on/off button and the home key for about a minute, it would come back on, and sure enough, it worked!

Flapdoodles makes infant, toddler, and 5-6 yrs old clothing only. I think they don't fit in size 6 clothing anymore. Kate always mentions buying the boys clothing from Target so it's probably something from Target.

Well, Kate can rest easy knowing that Milo is sitting on her Twitter, just waiting for Kate.
Milo makes Barney look like a crack dealer. Seriously, she is so far beyond rainbows and unicorns.

Whatever she's wearing, Hannah looks adorable. Kate, not so much.
