Kate was still in D.C. with Mady and Cara today while a camera crew filmed the sextuplets, often right up in their faces, at home. This is at least the second time Kate has been out of state while the children were made to work without a parent on set.
How can Kate possibly claim anything about whether filming is good for them if she isn't even there to monitor what's happening?

I have had some suspicions confirmed about blogs and this may apply to twitter too. I know someone who was offered a job by a well known furniture company to read furniture/design blogs, analyze them as to who the players are, and develop a voice for the company, and respond. Can anyone say BM? So, I'm guessing this is true for Twitter too because sometimes Kate's twats are written in a "different voice".

Well I guess I must be alone on this, but if I had a relative who had eight kids, no, I would not be wanting her to come over with all the kids. I do believe I'd be hiding out.

The articles that talk about their renegotiations cite Beth as a stern negotiator, pointing out that they need additional security now because people come in to see Dog all day/night interrupting the bail bond business, and their kids are getting flak at school.
The article implied the attacks at school were about Dog ("where's your father NOW!") but I wonder how much of it is really about how Beth dresses. Because the hoochie stuff is fine if that's how you want to present yourself to the world, and I'll be honest -- she and Dog have made me reexamine my assumptions about people -- but really, that stuff can't be going down too well at the local Jr. High.

Parents of 7 and 10 year olds should be there for any AND ALL FILMING. TLC and more importantly Kate, allowing filming of her kids while she is NOT there is simply insane. Never mind completely inappropriate. Kate is desperate to save her show and her horrible judgement is documented for all to see. Jon needs to address this issues asp with the Court, as these are HIS kids, not just Kate's and filming kids 10 and under without a parent present is clearly insane. Stop the insanity please.

My impression was the last time the judge let Kate decide that particular contract. It's unlikely it was an end all, be all, Kate can always decide any filming contract that ever arises until they are 18. More likely they are doing this on a case by case basis, but I don't know.
Even if that were the case, you can always go back to the judge if you have NEW information--such as here, now there's no parent on set during filming, Kate off getting drunk in NYC while the kids stay home and work. Change in circumstances such that he could request Kate no longer have exclusive control.

But admin we are seeing the great Kate make over. Her tweet said if she could change one thing it would be the warped view that people have of her. You know how we all think she is an entitled narcissistic spoiled brat with only a glimmer of mothering genes and not a single charitable one? All that is warped and in the process of being unwarped by Iwana, Milo and Kate herself. Admin, I could be completely wrong, but I always pictured a somewhat elderly woman making those posts, who is just trying to get all her thoughts down, without any structure or cohesiveness. She never bothered me until she started posting under so many "in the know" names. Acting as if she knew Kate, or actually saw Kate do things. Then on GWOP, she started posting under other posters names. You can clearly tell when it is her posting. That is when I took offense to her postings. Before I just thought she wanted to put in her two cents, but had a hard time doing it. Now she can be quite nasty, she uses others names and her posts go on and on and on.....she is not all there in my opinion.

Question from a twitter-challenged person. I occasionally read the tweets on the twazzup page. Scrolling through, I have noticed tweets from one person who seems to be on there consistently. If I click on that particular name, it brings me to her tweet page. When it says "five hours ago" is that in "real time," i.g. is it live? I'm confused because six hours ago, the person commented that it was time to go to bed, but yet there are subsequent tweets from five hours ago, four hours ago, three hours ago, two hours ago, one hours ago, right down to the current time.
So - do these people live on there 24/7, because it looks like that person never went to bed? And if so, why? Do they not have lives that doesn't include Kate? These were from a non-fan. Is it "live" tweeting?

My guess is she is an older lady, housebound for whatever reason, with only her 22 cats for company. Not exactly, but you get my drift.
I dont think she means any harm. But she perhaps feels quite certain she has it all figured out, can see secret motivations that we dont see and is certain she 'knows' what goes on behind closed doors. She is absolutely desperate for readers to take her seriously, so she poses as other posters or as different people who may have had a passing connection to Kate. I think she gets nasty when she has her own periods of confusion, and/or frustration when she isnt engaged and believed.
Many of the professions she chooses are those that require advanced education, but she doesnt realize that her writing style is not that of an educated person who is of clear thought. The rambling disjointed style may be very typical of her thought processes, I'm afraid.

We don't know that Jon already hasn't petitioned the court or that the judge hasn't already ruled that it's ok for the over 21 year old babysitter to supervise while filming. Plus, per Admin, there's nothing illegal about the fact that Kate's not present during filming anyway.
No matter how outraged we are about no parent present during filming or that we'd NEVER even think of allowing it ourselves, the lawmakers in PA obviously don't think there's anything wrong with it.
I'm as disgusted and outraged as the rest of you about TLC filming when Kate is gone, but I'm channeling my energy into letter writing to the legislators in PA about their still ridiculous child labor laws, which despite their recent work on the new bill, still have glaring omissions that leave even the most basic protections for children missing.

I do know one particular lawmaker who DOES think it's outrageous and was very disturbed that the laws that have existed were allowed to go unchanged for so long. I do know that one particular lawmaker was very disturbed that in this case there was no background check done on those who came in contact with the children, that the kids' very private moments were allowed to be filmed without a parent present, and that nobody was/is on the set to make sure that the rules that are in existence are not being violated. This one particular lawmaker has also been concerned that the children are supporting a parent, and that no child should be responsible for the financial well-being of that parent.
I have spoken about this a few times and I was even quoted by someone on the radio interviewing Aunt Jodi regarding PA's conflict of interest in child labor laws for the entertainment business. I did a post on the radio show back in the day but haven't looked for it.
Here's the difference between CA and NY, whose kids are heavily regulated (in CA a parent is ALWAYS required on set, school in session or not, contrary to what a sheeple tried to assert here), versus PA. California/NY know full well that even if their kids are heavily regulated, they won't lose that much business because of it. For dozens of reasons most programs are filmed in CA or NY. But that's not the case in PA. If PA heavily regulates a certain industry, they risk them going elsewhere. If a production company realizes it has to comply with a bunch of costly and annoying child labor laws (like employing a set teacher, etc.) they'll just run to Maryland or Delaware or Ohio. This is what PA is afraid of.
I strongly suspects a lot of legislatures are hearing strong opposition from businesses and the like who benefit from filming projects coming to PA. And their reps who are heavily pressured to create jobs are not about to support any kind of heavy regulations discouraging production companies that bring a lot of revenue and jobs.
I doubt these businesses have a single thing against a child being protected, HOWEVER, they don't want PA to pass ANY regulations that affect the entertainment industry.
It is to a state's benefit to have the least regulated industry, with the lowest taxes. The incentive is clear. And obviously, this fact is very frustrating to the cause.
Paul Petersen recognizes this and has said many times there needs to be FEDERAL LAWS to take away the incentives states have to deregulate child labor.

We don't know that Jon already hasn't petitioned the court or that the judge hasn't already ruled that it's ok for the over 21 year old babysitter to supervise while filming. Plus, per Admin, there's nothing illegal about the fact that Kate's not present during filming anyway.
No matter how outraged we are about no parent present during filming or that we'd NEVER even think of allowing it ourselves, the lawmakers in PA obviously don't think there's anything wrong with it.
I'm as disgusted and outraged as the rest of you about TLC filming when Kate is gone, but I'm channeling my energy into letter writing to the legislators in PA about their still ridiculous child labor laws, which despite their recent work on the new bill, still have glaring omissions that leave even the most basic protections for children missing.

Parents of 7 and 10 year olds should be there for any AND ALL FILMING. TLC and more importantly Kate, allowing filming of her kids while she is NOT there is simply insane. Never mind completely inappropriate. Kate is desperate to save her show and her horrible judgement is documented for all to see. Jon needs to address this issues asp with the Court, as these are HIS kids, not just Kate's and filming kids 10 and under without a parent present is clearly insane. Stop the insanity please.

Troy, ITA with you about Judge Judy. I only watched the show once or twice, but I was struck by what a knowitall she is, and particularly because, in the show I saw, she was dead wrong. A young woman was suing her baby's father for medical expenses because she developed cancer because of her pregnancy. Judge Judy dismissed her case without obtaining any medical information because "there's no such thing as pregnancy causing cancer". Problem is, there is. It's called choriocarcinoma, it arises from placental tissue, and it is highly lethal and agressive. So this poor young woman, who was likely under a death sentence, was called a liar on national television, by someone who couldn't be bothered by facts.
roxyhelen - you can add those paps who caused Tori Spelling's auto accident this week to your list of idiots. Chasing a pregnant woman, with 2 children in her car, so you can take pix of her kids, is the lowest form of low. Those "people", and I use the term loosely, are 6 inches lower than a snake's navel.

OT for a moment. Admin, how do you feel about Judge Judy? I think she is a rude, arogant, showboating, no respect for real integrity, highly paid, narcissist. A judge, not so much.
Her appeal is that she shreds ignorant, sheeple like, litigents, df or plnt. What kind of judge dismisses most cases on a whim, or has a crystal ball and KNOWS you are lying, ignoring any evidence that may prove otherwise? sorry for rant.
Take the comment about the people with Kate in Annapolis with a grain of salt.
"Family" members is Kate-speak for anyone who can tolerate her and her kids for any length of time like the camera guys that she considers "dads" to her children and the production crew that she talks about as being family and who she'll stay in touch with and who will visit her kids forever and ever. It's just another twist of words to suit Kate's purpose at any given time or occasion. What better way for Kate to answer a question about who the people were, than to say 'they're family'. I'm inclined to believe they are people she's met through TLC (headquarters in Silver Springs, MD) than anything else.
If they're going to speculate so ludicrously, I'm gonna throw one out there.
What if Kate knew she was going to lose, so went back to LaFair to finally settle. She settled with her on the condition she would tell everyone she is dropping the lawsuit. Only she forgot to put in that little agreement LaFair couldn't write a blog post calling her a media hog.

It's the Kardashian's everyone! They annoy the CRAP out of me, almost as much as Kate. Kris Jenner has pushed each & every one of her kids into the spotlight & was actually PROUD of Kim for her sex tape. It got her further into the spotlight, didn't it?
About Kate & this whole TN thing, I applaud all of you guys for writing letters to the food bank. I plan on doing the same thing. They need to know who they are dealing with. How is she going to act when she gets there? Will she pull her diva attitude & request this & that & walk all over everyone? God, I hope not. It's a charity event. But then again, she does not see things like that, she only sees HER & HER needs & her comfort levels. I hope she treats those people nicely, especially for what they do to help people in the area. Then again, if we do hear about a diva, bitch attitude then that's another knock down in her image. I guess we'll see. And going on her dime? yeah...we'll see that too I guess. She always lies, so maybe we'll catch her again.
