I haven’t been on this site in many years (possibly 10 or more years!), but I had to drop in once I saw the media about Colin’s book. Abusers forget that children grow up, but here we are.
Those of us who saw this coming will probably not be surprised by anything Colin has to say. I pre-ordered his book to support him and spite Kate and her rabid fans. I hope it's a best-seller and Kate's abuse becomes public knowledge. I hope she is shunned by all and ashamed to show her face in public. I hope her supporters finally feel the shame and humiliation they deserve for defending a child abuser.

There are quite a few people on TT going back thru documents and creating timelines again. A new piece of information, I hadnt known, is that TLC had a piece in the agreement that if Kate said the kids agreed to film and they didnt, that Kate could be sued. So when Collin started to go against filming, the caveat in the agreement was if a child became incapacitated due to Mental Disability. Hence, the admission to the Behavioral Institue and the ongoing "fluid" diagnosis. I guess Hannah, altho wanted to go live with Jon, never made waves about filming, while in Kate's custody...so cha-ching, sounds like motive for Kate to create a mental disability for the child who wouldnt film so she could continue and not be sued.
And bwahaha, to the comment about "cant sue" because she is a public figure...yea , nice try Kate.
And the Steve affair and now a couple, is just the cherry on top. She thinks we are all so dumb.

She is delightful and has a sharp wit. ( Her impersonation of Prince Harry makes me laugh every time.) She is planning to read Collin's book when it comes out. She has already discussed some of what little she knows of the Gosslin situation. All of us are better educated than she is, so far. I anticipate that I will be leaving many comments!
I have been watching K8’s Tik Tok on and off the last year. She just loves living without the kids. She loves living with Steve and her dogs even more. Even when she broke her leg last year, she was in rather good spirits cause she had Steve there. Kids who ? They no longer exist.

Hi it’s T- An old time poster here…Kate’s young dog died. It’s horrible and tragic to lose any pet, never mind two pets suddenly in such a short span of time. So, I don’t grudge her very valid grief. She is stating on her TikTok, how heartbroken she is, and generally going on and on about her grief. Which, again, I completely understand. HOWEVER, she says nothing about her grief of losing one of her children!? I mean, she basically just walked away from Colin and when she mentions him, it’s only in a disparaging way. But she goes on and on on social media about losing her “baby” meaning her dog. And goes on to equate losing her puppy to losing a child with Steve. I am one of those dog moms that does treat my dog like a child and I consider him a family member. When I have lost pets previously, I have been absolutely devastated. So two things can be true at once.. losing your dog is horrible. But losing your son should also require some amount of grief.
K8 and Steve did a video how they may be getting a new puppy in the fall from breeder who would be related to dog they just lost. It will be interesting to see how this new puppy lines up with the release of Collins book.
I also wonder how Steve’s kids feel about his new lady love. It’s hard enough to watch your parents split up but then to see their father end up with a woman they have probably known of most of their lives and is a person known for her bad behavior.

I agree that it’s particularly hard on kids to see a parent’s new relationship be someone you knew, trusted, welcomed into the family for years. This happened to the kids I nannied for in their teen years and to this day it’s so gross and shocking. Like I’d much rather you just go on tinder and meet somebody new nobody knows.

Colin has been doing press for that Special Forces show. He keeps emphasizing he's an adult who could choose to do this show.

I dont have a link. I followed this family and the legalities of filming in Pennsylvania back in the K&J+8 heyday. There were no protections for kids in reality tv shows then. Kate's brother Kevin and wife Jody came forward with concerns that helped to change the rules and to bring a guardian into the set to act as advocate for the kids, but that was after the divorce. At that time snipets of the contract showed up. Some of it may have been in the book written about Kate ( shoot, Forget the book now but it was available on Amazon written by Robert ? ) and I think it was there the contract was shown where kids must be present for filming, unless there was a medical reason to not be. Collin starting to decline filming, putting that contract into jeopardy, and it was about that time Collin got pulled from school, along with Hannah and then Collin became institionalized. The timing sure pointed to Kate needing Collin to either play nice witht the camera or end up in an institution.

I’m listening to the podcast On Purpose with Jay Sherry. He’s interviewing Colin and it’s absolutely heartbreaking. It was as bad and even worse than everyone thought on this blog. She is disgusting and just living her best life with ol’ Stevie and her dogs. Disgusting! Listen to it but I warn you, it’s a hard podcast.

I found my way back to this blog after reading Collin’s book. I was a day-one lurker who used to read this site and TWOP religiously. I even bought and read Robert Hoffman’s book.
It’s surreal to see the world finally catching up to what so many of you recognized years ago. Kate was able to steamroll people for far too long, and the list of people who were hurt along the way is a lengthy one.
I just wanted to take a moment to say God bless all of you who saw through it early on and stood your ground, even when so many others refused to listen. Time has a way of bringing things to light, and you deserve to know that your voices were never forgotten. 🤍

From Dmasy -- Last time I watched Special Forces, Kate Gosselin was an early out participant. Tonight, I am watching to see the grown up Collin. I am just about half way through his book. On Monday, I will begin listening to the reading of the book on Youtube by Cheere Denise with her added commentary. What we have known all along ... finally coming to light.
I’ve found it very hard to hear Collin’s story and Kate’s reaction. It’s one thing to hear a shocking story of abuse after the fact but so many of us knew it was going on at the time and tried to do something without success. It’s very hard to watch. I’m very proud of him and he should do what he needs to do and tell what he needs to tell.

Hi everyone - Thanks to Admin for still keeping this site available. I’m glad Collin is trying to move on with his life. I’ve read some comments on other sites criticizing him for “airing his dirty laundry” so publicly and pursuing fame just like his mom did by doing a reality tv show, publishing a memoir, etc. First off, I’m not sure what people expect or why they’re surprised. His whole life has been lived in the public eye. He has a right to share his narrative, to not let his mother or TLC’s version of what his life was like or who they say he is to be the final say or define him moving forward. I have to believe this is one way he’s using to heal.
As for Kate, actions speak louder than words. There are thousands of hours of her behavior towards her family and friends documented via her reality show and in the press. I can’t count the number of times she’s been caught lying. Deny Collin’s story all you want. What we, the public, saw aligns with his version of events far more than yours.

For those that have read the book - He mentions "Karen" as being Kate's makeup artist when they went to Mexico. I figured it was Deanna Bell, looked it up and confirmed it was. So was in charge of the kids when they were in a van and watched while Maddy (older sister with sharp nails) scratched his face so it bled and stayed quiet when Collin told Kate and Maddy denied it. What. A. Bitch. I'm trying to figure out who "Jill" is. She was Kate's friend and assistant that went on the trip also. It's not Jamie I don't think. Google said she wasn't on that trip.
I am dying to know who the babysitter/homeschool teacher was, Mrs. Johnson. I don't think it's Michelle Brownlow because he does mention an Art teacher that would come occasionally and that was probably her. But this woman (Mrs. Johnson) was a Kate 2.0 Bitch. I follow Michelle on IG and she seems very into her family and helping children. She was an art teacher for kids on the spectrum until this year when the school closed. Jill Duggar left a nice comment on Colin's social media. She said she heard things from film crews, but she didn't know it was that bad. Seems like some of the crew transferred to the Duggar show because it was so bad at the Gosselins. I remember reading that somewhere.
Another plot twist. Hannah posted on her TT story that she hasn't lived with her dad for over a year nor spoke with Collin in a year. She is taking a step back from the current situation and will not be sharing any further details about Collins behavior growing up or her experiences with him growing up.
So not sure if she has been taken aback under Kate's spell, or she just wants to remain neutral. Hannah said she has had a relationship with her mom and siblings for a few years now.

I think Collin was the most intelligent of the 6 and that's why he is the only one who rebelled to filming, He understood more of what was happening than the others and was too miserable to pretend. 9 times out of 10 the rebels are the smart ones.

A nanny come forward in a PEOPLE article, said she reported the abuse to CPS and quit. Validating the physical abuse of Collin.
I think we're going to see a massive, strategic media campaign, slowly over the weeks leading up to the NETFLIX documentary. Jon has had years of learning how to use the media. This stuff is gonna get real pretty fast. Collin has also said it's likely legal action will be taken and Jon has said criminal charges not civil cases.

It has probably been asked, but since Kate has posted such vile statements about her own son. If Collin was so supposedly dangerous, why did she not show up at his custody hearing to (not that I would condone it) to contest that he needed further treatment in a psychiatric facility? But she was willing to allow such said mentally ill individual to...be loosely handed over to his father like that? Would she not have, oh, I don't know, bothered to show up with said medical reports? Bring in his doctor? Anything?
